O Allah, send blessings upon 0:35 our master Muhammad and the family of 0:37 Muhammad. Praise be to Allah, we meet 0:40 again today, Wednesday, the 9th of 0:43 Jumada al-Akhirah 1446 Hijri, or 0:45 December 11th, 2024. Today was supposed 0:49 to be our guest segment with Mr. Bilal. 0:51 But since Mr. Bilal is suddenly 0:53 unavailable, we will fill it with 0:55 reflections under the shade of the 0:57 Al-Qur'an with Ustaz Hussein. Uh, 1:01 please, you may open Surah Az-Zumar, or 1:03 the 39th chapter, starting from verse 5 1:05 to verse 7. Surah Az-Zumar, or the 39th 1:10 chapter, verses 5 to 7. Peace be upon 1:14 you, Ustaz Hussein. 1:15 Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:17 and blessings. 1:18 Right, here we also have Ondi and Algi. 1:21 Well, let us start this program by 1:22 reciting Al-Fatihah. I seek refuge in 1:27 Allah from the accursed Satan. In the 1:34 name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the 1:35 Most Merciful. All praise is due to 1:42 Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most 1:50 Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of 1:56 the Day of Judgment. You alone we 2:01 worship, and You alone we ask for help. 2:06 Guide us to the straight path. The path 2:13 of those upon whom You have bestowed 2:15 favor. Not of those who have evoked 2:20 Your anger or of those who are astray. 2:28 Amen. Praise be to Allah, we have 2:29 recited Al-Fatihah. May Allah make it 2:32 easy for us to understand what our 2:33 teacher will explain. Let us open Surah 2:37 Az-Zumar, verses 5 to 7. Please proceed 2:40 , Ustaz. In the name of Allah, the Most 2:45 Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise 2:48 is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O 2:52 our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as 2:55 befits the majesty of Your noble 2:57 countenance and the greatness of Your 3:00 dominion. Glory be to You, we cannot 3:04 count the praise due to You, as You 3:06 have praised Yourself. To You is all 3:09 praise until You are satisfied. And to 3:12 You is all praise when You are 3:14 satisfied. And to You is all praise 3:15 after You are satisfied. O Allah, send 3:22 prayers upon our master and prophet 3:24 Muhammad, and upon his family and 3:26 companions, and grant them peace. Peace 3:29 be upon you, O Messenger of Allah. 3:32 Peace be upon your goodly household and 3:36 your noble companions. And those 3:41 following your upright path until the 3:44 Day of Judgment. Glory be to You, we 3:48 have no knowledge except what You have 3:50 taught us; indeed, You are the Knowing, 3:52 the Wise. And there is no power nor 3:54 strength except with Allah, the Exalted 3:56 , the Almighty. O Allah, grant us mercy 4:00 from Yourself and bestow upon us 4:02 beneficial and useful knowledge. My 4:07 brothers and sisters, listeners and 4:10 viewers of Silaturahmi Radio TV, who 4:12 are blessed by Allah. Praise be to 4:17 Allah, this morning we can continue our 4:21 reflections and studies under the shade 4:25 of Surah Az-Zumar, starting from verse 4:28 5 to verse 7. May Allah Subhanahu wa 4:33 ta'ala open the doors of our hearts so 4:38 we may absorb, contemplate, and 4:43 practice. The guidance of Allah 4:48 Subhanahu wa ta'ala in the holy verses 4:51 of His book, which was sent down as 4:54 guidance, light, mercy, and a healer 4:57 for various kinds of ailments, and is 5:00 also the Furqan, the separator between 5:04 the truth and the false. Let us first 5:11 recite the verses we will reflect upon 5:16 this morning. Starting from verse 5. I 5:22 seek refuge in Allah from the accursed 5:24 Satan. He created the heavens and the 5:32 earth in truth. He wraps the night over 5:39 the day and wraps the day over the 5:43 night. And He has subjected the sun and 5:50 the moon. Each runs for a specified 5:57 term. Indeed, He is the Exalted in 6:03 Might, the Forgiving. Indeed, He is the 6:08 Exalted in Might, the Forgiving. He 6:14 created you from one soul; then He made 6:19 from it its mate. And He sent down for 6:25 you from the grazing livestock eight 6:29 mates. He creates you in the wombs of 6:37 your mothers, creation after creation. 6:48 That is Allah, your Lord; to Him 6:51 belongs the dominion. There is no deity 6:58 except Him, so how are you averted? If 7:06 you disbelieve, indeed Allah is free 7:09 from need of you. If you are grateful, 7:23 He likes it for you; and no bearer of 7:26 burdens will bear the burden of another 7:29 . Then to your Lord is your return, and 7:34 He will inform you of what you used to 7:38 do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that 7:44 within the breasts. Allah the Almighty 7:50 has spoken the truth. Allah the 7:55 Almighty has spoken the truth. And His 7:59 noble Messenger has conveyed the truth, 8:02 and we are witnesses to that. Brothers 8:06 and sisters, may Allah have mercy on 8:07 you. If we return to the previous 8:12 verses, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala after 8:20 beginning this surah with " 8:22 bismillahirrahmanirrahim," invites us 8:25 all together to begin and enter into 8:31 the mercy of Allah, the Most Gracious 8:34 and the Most Merciful. This is a 8:37 boundless blessing from Allah. Whoever 8:42 we are and wherever we are, regardless 8:46 of our status, Allah opens His doors to 8:50 those who wish to enter His mercy and 8:54 walk under His shade. Now, among the 9:00 mercies that Allah has bestowed upon us 9:04 all is the Qur'an, which He revealed as 9:08 guidance, light, a healer, as well as 9:12 mercy and glad tidings for the 9:15 believers. Tanzilul kitabi minallahil 9:21 azizil hakim. This great and noble Book 9:26 was revealed by Allah, the Almighty, 9:29 the All-Wise. So, whoever follows the 9:35 guidance of the Book will be under the 9:37 protection of the Almighty, and the 9:41 All-Wise. They will not lose their way. 9:46 They will become wise human beings by 9:49 following Allah's guidance. Then, Allah 9:54 explains to us the purpose behind the 9:56 revelation of this Qur'an. Inna anzalna 10:01 ilaikal kitaba bilhaq. Indeed, We have 10:04 revealed the Book to you, O Messenger, 10:08 with the truth and for a true purpose. 10:13 It is not for play, but the Qur'an was 10:16 revealed bringing guidance and a manual 10:20 for life that is true and beyond any 10:23 doubt. Fa'budillaha mukhlison lahuddin. 10:30 So, worship Allah by purifying your 10:34 devotion and worship solely for Him. 10:40 This is the path of salvation that 10:43 Allah shows us, which will bring us 10:46 into His mercy, and Allah will 10:48 personally intervene to be our 10:51 protector and guide if we worship Him 10:54 sincerely and do not associate anything 10:57 with Him. But if we associate partners 11:02 with Allah, then Allah will leave us. 11:05 Allah will leave us to the partners we 11:08 associated with Him. Yet, when we are 11:13 with Allah, Allah will suffice us. But 11:17 when Allah leaves us, there is no one 11:20 who has the power to replace Him. Then, 11:26 after Allah commands us to worship Him 11:30 sincerely, unmixed with shirk, and 11:34 unmixed with desires or agendas that 11:39 would cloud our worship of Him, Allah 11:43 reminds us, "Ala lillahiddinul khalis." 11:48 Know that what belongs to Allah will 11:56 only be welcomed and accepted by Him. " 12:02 Adinul khalis" is sincere and pure 12:05 devotion and worship to Allah Subhanahu 12:07 wa ta'ala. This is what belongs to 12:12 Allah, and He is the only one worthy of 12:15 our worship. Because He is the sole 12:19 Creator, and He has no partners. 12:22 Therefore, what will be welcomed by 12:25 Allah, what is His exclusive right and 12:29 the duty of His servants, is to purify 12:32 their devotion and worship solely for 12:35 His sake. Ala lillahiddinul khalis. 12:41 Know that what belongs to Allah and is 12:45 His right is "adinul khalis," devotion 12:49 and worship that is truly pure. How 12:55 could we then give or dedicate our 12:57 worship to anyone other than Allah? Yet 13:02 they do not have even the slightest 13:04 contribution to our creation. The 13:07 creation of the heavens and the earth 13:09 was entirely done by Allah Subhanahu wa 13:12 ta'ala. So the expression "ala 13:14 lillahiddinul khalis" means know that 13:16 it belongs to Allah; it is Allah's 13:18 right, Allah's possession, a truly pure 13:20 devotion. If we do this, then Allah 13:24 will intervene directly to guide, show 13:27 the way, protect, and shower His mercy 13:30 upon us all. Then Allah Subhanahu wa 13:37 ta'ala rebukes some of His servants who 13:40 direct their worship and prayers to 13:43 other than Allah. When asked, "Why do 13:48 you do this?" They answer, "We do all 13:52 this in order to bring us closer to 13:55 Allah. Because of our sins and our 13:59 lowliness, if we go directly to Allah, 14:02 it will not be accepted." Whereas, as 14:06 in our previous study, let alone a 14:08 sinful human, if even Iblis were to 14:11 come and repent to Allah, Allah would 14:14 grant his prayer. So here Allah 14:18 Subhanahu wa ta'ala explains their 14:20 error and their falsehood as well. " 14:28 Walladzinaittakhadzu min dunihi auliya 14:31 ma na'buduhum illa liyuqorribuna 14:34 ilallahi zulfa.""Innallaha yahkumu 14:37 bainahum fima hum fihi yakhtalifun."" 14:41 Innallaha la yahdi man huwa kadzibun 14:43 kaffar." After Allah explains that it 14:48 belongs to Allah, it is Allah's right, 14:50 a truly pure devotion and worship. Then 14:54 Allah continues with a rebuke to those 14:58 who do not value Allah's right at all 15:01 and do not understand it. Offering 15:05 their worship to others besides Allah 15:07 alongside Allah. And those who elevate 15:12 and take others besides Allah as their 15:16 guardians, their helpers, and those who 15:21 grant their needs. Their reason for 15:25 doing this is "ma na'buduhum illa 15:27 liyuqorribuna ilallahi zulfa." That we 15:30 do not worship them except to bring us 15:34 closer to Allah. Through them, we offer 15:38 our needs to Allah. Even though Allah 15:42 Subhanahu wa ta'ala never permitted 15:44 this. But what Allah commanded His 15:49 prophets, His messengers, and all of us 15:52 is to worship Allah and not associate 15:55 anything with Him. "Wama umiru illa 15:58 liya'budullaha mukhlisina lahuddina 16:01 hunafa." And they were not commanded 16:05 except to worship Allah by being 16:07 sincere, purifying their worship solely 16:09 to Allah. "Hunafa," being upright. "Wa 16:14 yuqimush-shalata wa yu'tuz-zakah." Then 16:17 they establish prayer and pay the zakat 16:20 . "Wa dzalika dinul-qayyimah." That is 16:24 "wa dzalika dinul-qayyimah." That is 16:27 the religion that will truly guide us 16:30 and set our lives on the right path. " 16:37 Innallaha yahkumu bainahum fima hum 16:39 fihi yakhtalifun." Indeed, Allah will 16:43 judge between them regarding that 16:45 wherein they differ. When we disagree, 16:49 we should return to Allah. We ask Allah 16:54 , is what we are doing correct 16:56 according to Allah's guidance? Does it 16:59 contradict Allah's guidance? If we are 17:03 truly people who love the truth and 17:06 love Allah, we should be ready to 17:09 adjust our attitude, our worship, and 17:12 our way of life according to what Allah 17:16 revealed to us through His messengers 17:19 and prophets. "Innallaha la yahdi man 17:25 huwa kadzibun kaffar." Indeed, Allah 17:28 will not guide those who are liars and 17:29 disbelievers. a liar who denies the 17:37 truth. Their reasons actually reveal 17:42 their lies. Because what is in their 17:44 hearts is not Allah. But the partners 17:46 they associate with Allah are whom they 17:48 trust. To the point that when one of 17:52 them is asked, "Why do you instead pray 17:55 and ask them?" He says, "If I pray to 18:00 Allah directly, I don't feel it is 18:02 answered. 18:04 But when I come to them, to their 18:06 graves to ask, I feel my prayers are 18:09 immediately granted." In reality, Allah 18:13 does not grant your prayer because you 18:15 do not come to Him with a pure and 18:17 sincere heart. But when you come to 18:21 others besides Allah, the devil steps 18:23 in to become your guardian. The more 18:27 you feel your prayers are accepted, the 18:30 deeper you are plunged by the devil 18:32 into the abyss of misguidance. So be 18:35 careful. Do not assume that when you 18:38 come to ask of others besides Allah and 18:40 feel your prayer is granted, it is real 18:43 . It is actually a deception of the 18:45 devil. People like this are liars. He 18:51 lies to himself, and he also denies the 18:54 truth that comes from Allah. How could 18:57 someone like this expect that Allah 18:59 Subhanahu wa ta'ala would reach out to 19:01 help him? Then Allah continues, "Lau 19:06 arallahu attakhidza waladan laistafa 19:08 mimma yakluqu ma yasya.""This is a 19:12 parable, if Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 19:15 wanted to adopt a child or have a child 19:17 , surely Allah would choose from His 19:20 creatures whom He wills. Not choosing 19:26 from among humans, who are full of 19:29 filth, full of flaws and weaknesses. 19:33 Allah could choose from His creatures 19:36 whatever He wills. But subhanahu 19:43 huallahul wahidul qahar. Glory be to 19:46 Allah. He is the One, the Almighty. 19:53 This is a possibility, but it is 19:55 impossible for Allah. If He had a child 19:58 , then one day His power would be 20:00 inherited. 20:01 Hmm. And it would continue to develop 20:06 until the One who created us, and those 20:10 who watch over us, might no longer be 20:13 the God who created us. Likewise, the 20:16 one who judges us in the hereafter. But 20:19 all of this is impossible for Allah. 20:22 Qul huallahu ahad. Allahus somad. Lam 20:25 yalid walam yulad. Walam yakun lahu 20:27 kufuwan ahad. But here, Allah wants to 20:30 provide a parable, even though it is 20:32 something impossible. If Allah really 20:35 wanted to choose a child, would He 20:37 choose a child from among humans who 20:39 are so weak and full of flaws? Allah 20:42 could choose from the creatures that He 20:44 wills. But all of this is an impossible 20:46 parable. Glory be to Allah Subhanahu wa 20:48 ta'ala. The One God. The singular God. 20:54 La syarikalah (He has no partners). 20:56 Al-Qahar, the Almighty. This was our 21:00 previous study. Now we are entering the 21:03 next study. After Allah Subhanahu wa 21:08 ta'ala explained that pure devotion 21:11 belongs to Allah alone and is what will 21:14 be welcomed and accepted, Allah 21:17 explains the reason, and it is not 21:19 without cause. Khalaqas samawati wal 21:24 ard bilhaq. He has created the heavens 21:27 and the earth bilhaq, with a righteous 21:29 purpose. Our presence in this world is 21:34 not for play, but with a righteous 21:36 purpose where Allah tests us. Allah 21:42 Subhanahu wa ta'ala grants us choices, 21:44 gives us intellect, teaches us 21:46 knowledge, sends His messengers, and 21:49 reveals His scriptures as a test for us 21:51 . Who among us is grateful, and who 21:55 among us is ungrateful? Who among us is 21:58 the best in deeds, which will determine 22:01 our position in the hereafter? 22:04 Therefore, let us not be playful in 22:06 listening to the verses of Allah. 22:08 Because what Allah explains relates to 22:11 our purpose in life, our creation, and 22:14 our placement on this earth. Allah 22:20 Subhanahu wa ta'ala created the heavens 22:22 and the earth with a righteous purpose. 22:24 Yukawirul laila alan nahar wa yukawirun 22:27 nahar alil. The word kawara yukawiru 22:32 means to coil or wrap. In Arabic, it 22:34 means to rotate or wrap around. Kawaral 22:38 imamah ‘ala ra’sihi. That is, a 22:42 person who wraps a turban around what? 22:45 His head. 22:45 His head. 22:46 So, kawara yukawiru. That is why a ball 22:49 in Arabic is called qurah. So if it is 22:54 kawara yukawiru allaila ‘alan nahar, 22:57 it means Allah rotates and wraps the 23:00 night over the day. And also wraps and 23:06 rotates the day over the night, meaning 23:09 it indicates that our earth is round, 23:13 not flat. 23:14 Round, round. 23:17 Often people interpret the Quran in 23:20 pieces. Finally, they understand from 23:23 those pieces of verses without 23:24 connecting them, leading to a wrong 23:26 understanding. So, yukawirul laila ‘ 23:30 alan nahar means Allah rotates the day, 23:34 rotates the night over the day. 23:37 Likewise, wa yukawirun nahar alil, and 23:40 rotates the day over the night. We know 23:43 that those facing the sun receive light 23:47 . Those with their backs to the sun are 23:50 in a state of night and darkness. So 23:53 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala explains how 23:55 Allah rotates the night over the day 23:57 and the day over the night. Actually, 24:02 this explains the apparent movement of 24:07 our earth rotating on its axis before 24:11 the sun. At a glance, it seems as if 24:14 the sun is the one 24:16 rotating, 24:16 the one rotating. Whereas it is our 24:18 earth that is rotating on its axis, so 24:21 that what? Day and night changes occur; 24:24 those facing the sun have day, and 24:26 those behind it have night. If the 24:29 earth were flat, what would happen at 24:33 the same time? It would be bright 24:36 everywhere that is facing the sun. 24:37 Yeah. 24:39 Is that right? 24:40 The sun rotates too. Well, the sun 24:43 itself also orbits around the center of 24:46 its galaxy. But when it orbits, all the 24:49 planets follow behind it. So it orbits 24:52 around the galaxy's center, 24:54 and subhanallah, the earth rotates 24:59 before the sun and also orbits the sun. 25:02 Just an extraordinary miracle. At the 25:05 same time the sun orbits, it also 25:09 rotates on its axis. It also rotates on 25:13 its axis; this can be researched if we 25:15 open Google, which explains how the sun 25:18 also rotates on its axis. Then it 25:21 orbits the center of its galaxy along 25:23 with its children. Those are the 25:25 planets that circle it. While the 25:27 planets also what? They rotate on their 25:29 axes. Then they orbit the sun. Observe 25:32 the movement performed by the sun. All 25:37 right. It rotates on its axis. Wasyamsu 25:39 tajri limustaqarril laha. Then the sun 25:43 also carries its children, those 25:45 planets that accompany it orbiting the 25:48 center of its galaxy. Meanwhile, the 25:51 earth rotates on its axis while 25:53 orbiting the sun. Likewise, other 25:56 planets all revolve according to the 25:58 time determined by Allah Subhanahu wa 26:00 ta'ala. The earth's rotation on its 26:05 axis gives rise to the change of day 26:08 and night. Then the sun's orbit—er, 26:13 the earth's orbit around the sun gives 26:15 rise to the change of years. What is 26:18 all of this? It is an exposition of 26:21 Allah's signs that are so amazing. Who 26:24 did all of this? Was it America? Was it 26:28 Russia? Were it the Western countries 26:30 considered advanced in technology? Let 26:33 alone the sun, until now, no human has 26:35 even reached the planet Mars. Even for 26:40 unmanned spacecraft, it takes 26:41 approximately 7 months. Planet Mars is 26:45 the planet closest to us. 26:48 While other planets are still far 26:50 beyond our reach. Especially when 26:52 talking about the sun, especially when 26:54 talking about such amazing galaxies. So 26:59 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala explains to 27:03 us how He created the heavens and the 27:06 earth with a true purpose as signs, as 27:09 proofs for us that confirm the truth of 27:13 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. The Book of 27:19 Allah is divided into two, Mas Krisna. 27:20 One book, yes which is what? which is 27:26 voiceless, which does not speak, yes in 27:31 the form of writing that points to the 27:34 signs of Allah in this universe. While 27:39 the second book is the visible book 27:44 through that book we witness the signs 27:46 of Allah that are so amazing. It turns 27:49 out that between the two—the written 27:52 Qur'an and the universe we can witness 27:55 —everything shows harmony and 27:57 consistency. There is no contradiction 28:00 between the Qur'an and the universe 28:02 created by Allah. How could there be a 28:05 contradiction when Allah is the One who 28:07 created the universe, created us, and 28:09 He is also the One who revealed the 28:11 Qur'an, which originates from His 28:12 knowledge. Then*wa sakhara ash-shamsa 28:19 wal qamar*. Allah also subjected the 28:23 sun and the moon to serve us all. Allah 28:27 subjected the sun and moon to serve us. 28:32 Every morning the sun rises before us. 28:35 Who regulates it? Who determines it? 28:38 Not a single human planned it. When the 28:42 time comes for it to set, it will set. 28:44 Enveloping us with the darkness of the 28:46 night. Allowing us to rest and sleep 28:49 soundly and deeply. Who regulates all 28:52 of that?*Wa sakhara ash-shamsa wal 28:56 qamar*. Allah subjected the sun and the 29:00 moon. The moon is subjected by Allah 29:03 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. When the sun sets, 29:06 the moon replaces and follows it. Then, 29:12 through the movement of the moon 29:14 shifting from station to station, we 29:17 witness how the signs of Allah 29:19 Subhanahu wa ta'ala help us to know the 29:22 count of days, the count of months. 29:27 Where we witness at the moment the moon 29:31 appears at sunset, that marks the 29:37 change of a new day, not at 00:00 as in 29:40 the clocks we know, the conventional 29:44 clocks; but a clock based on the time 29:47 calculation in Islam with the setting 29:53 of the sun and the birth of the 29:54 crescent moon, that indicates the 29:55 beginning of the month. And every night 29:59 we watch how the crescent moon, which 30:02 was born small, moves and grows little 30:06 by little, indicating the passage of 30:09 days. So, the beginning of a day in 30:13 Islam starts at sunset. Therefore, as 30:18 soon as the sun sets, the day changes 30:20 at that moment. If it is currently 30:24 Wednesday during the day, once the sun 30:26 sets, it becomes Thursday. 30:28 Thursday. 30:30 Therefore, to find the beginning of 30:33 Ramadan, everyone watches for the birth 30:35 of the Hilal at sunset. Kulun yajri 30:43 liajali musamma. Each orbits according 30:47 to a determined time. Ala huwal azizul 30:52 ghaffar. Know that indeed He is the 30:54 All-Mighty, the All-Forgiving. If He 30:57 were not mighty, how could He manage 30:59 such a magnificent universe? Al-Ghaffar 31:02 , yet He is the Forgiver for His 31:03 servants who come to seek Allah's 31:05 forgiveness. While those who are 31:08 arrogant will face Al-Aziz, Al-Jabbar, 31:10 Al-Mutakabbir. So know that He is our 31:15 Lord, Allah, who is the All-Mighty and 31:18 All-Forgiving. While we still have the 31:23 opportunity to repent and seek Allah's 31:25 forgiveness, why not use it? Many 31:28 people are arrogant and do not admit 31:32 their mistakes before Allah. Yet this 31:35 is the most valuable opportunity; once 31:37 we are at the point of death, the door 31:39 to repentance and forgiveness is closed 31:41 . Just like Pharaoh, when the water 31:44 reached his throat, he said," Now I 31:47 believe. "Allah said," Where were you 31:51 before this? "Allah gave him chances 31:53 repeatedly, but he did not value them. 31:57 Alana, only now you wish to believe? So 32:01 , let us not be too late. Let us 32:03 together admit our mistakes and improve 32:06 ourselves by repenting to Allah. Seek 32:09 forgiveness for the shortcomings and 32:11 mistakes we have made before it is too 32:13 late. So the verses we just read convey 32:17 meanings, verses that display the 32:19 greatness and majesty of Allah, all of 32:21 which benefit us all. But why do many 32:26 humans still act arrogantly, proud of 32:29 their strength and their knowledge? 32:32 Their wealth. Whereas" wamin al-ilmi 32:35 illa qila, "you have not been given 32:37 knowledge except a little. Let us 32:41 continue how Allah presents the verses 32:43 of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allah 32:49 Subhanahu wa ta'ala explains how we 32:52 were created, and what Allah describes 32:55 aligns with the facts of truth. Even 32:58 though at that time, science had not 33:00 yet reached it. Khalaqokum min nafsin 33:03 wahidah. Allah created you all from the 33:06 same entity, both man and woman. Allah 33:10 says," Wa annahu khalaq 33:12 zaujainiz-zakara wal-unsa. "Indeed, He 33:14 created pairs, male and female, min 33:17 nutfatin idha tumna. From a drop of 33:20 sperm. Allah created Adam and Eve. Both 33:24 originated from soil. While their 33:28 descendants propagate from the essence 33:31 of the soil they consume or their 33:33 parents consume. Allah says," Alladzi 33:37 ahsana kulla shay-in khalaq. "It is He 33:40 who has perfected everything that He 33:44 created. Everything comes in a 33:48 beautiful form, a beautiful state, 33:50 despite having humble origins. God 33:55 began the creation of man, whether it 33:57 was our forefather Adam or Eve his wife 33:59 , from soil. it came. from it. Then God 34:07 created and multiplied their 34:10 descendants from the essence of the 34:13 earth, which produces a base drop of 34:16 water. From a base origin, God created 34:20 us, and then humans were born, 34:22 different from their origins. God 34:26 created humans with intellect, able to 34:27 think. We also witness that their 34:31 physical appearance differs from their 34:33 origin. Possessing intellectual 34:36 knowledge. Even capable of developing 34:39 science and exploring the various gifts 34:42 of God found on Earth. Tumma ja'ala 34:47 minha zauja. Then from the same entity 34:50 and origin, God created their mate. Not 34:56 as described in the Old Testament, 34:59 where God created Adam alone in 35:02 solitude, then took one of his ribs, 35:06 covered it with flesh, and Eve was born 35:09 . This is actually a description that 35:14 is not in harmony with the Quran, which 35:17 explains to us how the creation of the 35:19 first human began from soil. Then God 35:23 also created their mate from the same 35:26 entity and origin, not from a different 35:29 one. So they all return to the same 35:34 origin. Then their descendants 35:37 multiplied, drawn from the essence of 35:39 the soil consumed by their parents. 35:45 After that, God perfected the creation 35:47 of their bodies and souls with full 35:50 balance. Wafi ruhi, God breathed spirit 35:53 into them. Wakum wal absalid qil. God 36:00 granted you hearing, sight, and also 36:02 intellect. But few among you are 36:05 grateful to God; instead, many are 36:07 arrogant and proud of the little 36:09 knowledge God has taught. Wa anzala 36:15 lakum minal an'am tsamaniata azwaj. And 36:19 God granted you. The word 'anzala' in 36:22 Arabic means to send down. But here, it 36:27 means God sent down in the sense of 36:30 bestowing from His grace, from His 36:33 glory, for you eight pairs. Of what? Of 36:41 livestock, as God explains in Surat 36:45 al-An'am, eight pairs. Actually, four 36:51 pairs, totaling eight head of livestock 36:53 . First, camels, a pair. Likewise, what 37:01 ? Cattle, also a pair. Then, what else? 37:07 From the two types of sheep. From sheep 37:10 , also a pair. From what? From goats. 37:15 Or from goats, which in Arabic are 37:18 called 'ma'iz' or Javanese goats. God 37:22 also created a pair. This means these 37:26 four pairs consist of eight head. So ' 37:30 tsamaniata azwaj' here means God 37:32 Almighty granted you eight head, 37:34 consisting of four pairs. Now, the 37:40 expression in the Quran here," Wa 37:42 anzala, wa anzala lakum minal an'am 37:45 tsamaniata azwaj. "And God sent down or 37:52 granted you from His side as a gift and 37:55 provision from God Almighty, from 37:58 livestock, eight head consisting of 38:01 four pairs." Yakhluqukum baqin, "God 38:12 Almighty does not create you 38:15 immediately as perfect humans, but in 38:17 stages. From the moment sperm 38:21 fertilizes the womb, a zygote is born 38:24 that attaches to the uterine wall, then 38:27 it begins to divide, forming its organs 38:30 , its heart, and then other things, yes 38:33 , in that dark, octopus-like place 38:35 unseen by the eye. Allah Subhanahu wa 38:40 ta'ala creates us, moving from one 38:42 phase of creation to the next. 38:47 Yakhluqukum fi butuni ummahatikum 38:50 khalqan min ba'di khalqin. Allah 38:52 creates you within the wombs of your 38:57 mothers. Khalqan min ba'di khalqin. 39:00 Moving gradually, in what way? 39:04 Gradually from one creation or state to 39:07 another. Fi zulumatin thalath, in three 39:11 layers of darkness, inside the depths 39:21 of a woman's womb or abdomen. But with 39:25 the progress of time, what did Allah 39:27 reveal? That our growth in our mother's 39:30 womb is within three layers of darkness 39:33 . The first is the layer of the 39:35 placenta or amniotic sac. The second is 39:40 the layer that covers the uterine wall. 39:45 While the third is the abdominal wall 39:47 consisting of muscle. So, the abdominal 39:50 wall on the outside. Then the uterine 39:53 wall. The third is the wall of the 39:55 amniotic sac or placenta. The baby 39:59 truly grows in a guarded and protected 40:02 state. It gets oxygen from what its 40:06 mother breathes. Likewise, the 40:09 nutrients from the mother's food 40:11 through the umbilical cord are given to 40:14 the child, who grows along with its 40:16 development until it is born as a 40:19 perfect child. Then it comes out 40:22 through the mother's womb, through that 40:25 womb. Subhanallah. As if it had learned 40:29 before how to exit its mother's womb. 40:34 Yakhluqukum fi butuni ummahatikum 40:36 khalqan min ba'di khalqin. Allah 40:39 creates you within the wombs of your 40:41 mothers. Moving from phase to phase. Fi 40:46 zulumatin thalath, in three darknesses. 40:50 Dhalikumullahu Rabbukum lahul mulk. 40:54 That is Allah. Do not be mistaken in 40:58 what? In finding your Lord. Allah. That 41:03 is Allah who creates and does all of 41:05 that. Including all of us who are 41:07 completely indebted to Allah. 41:10 Dhalikumullahu Rabbukum. That is your 41:13 Lord, your creator, your nurturer. 41:16 Lahul mulk, to Him belongs the entire 41:19 kingdom, whether it is the heavens or 41:22 the earth. La ilaha illa Hu. There is 41:26 no God but Him. Fa-anna tusrafun. Then 41:29 why are you turned away from Allah to 41:31 others? It is truly illogical, 41:35 unacceptable to common sense, for 41:38 someone to turn to other than Allah and 41:41 abandon Allah who has created them, 41:43 bestowed infinite blessings and favors, 41:46 and created the heavens and the earth; 41:49 yet they come to creatures they created 41:52 with their imaginations as false gods, 41:54 worshipping them while abandoning the 41:57 Lord who created them. This is truly 42:01 extraordinary and strange, Mas Krisna. 42:05 So, alhamdulillah, for giving us 42:06 guidance, giving us reason, and 42:08 teaching us the truth. If not, we would 42:12 be like those who worship such lowly 42:15 creatures, forgetting the blessings and 42:19 glory that Allah has given them. Then, 42:25 next Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala reminds 42:31 us so that we realize it is not Allah 42:33 who needs us, but we who need Allah. In 42:36 takfuru fa-innallaha Ghaniyyun 'ankum. 42:40 If you disbelieve after you have known 42:43 this truth, know that indeed Allah is 42:45 Self-Sufficient, He does not need you. 42:51 And Allah does not approve of disbelief 42:53 for His servants. Disbelief and denial 42:57 will cast such a person far away from 43:00 the pleasure of Allah. It will cut them 43:04 off from Allah’s mercy and any hope 43:06 for salvation on the Day of Judgment. 43:11 Wain tasykuru yardahu lakum. If you are 43:14 grateful as servants, realizing your 43:17 mistakes, returning to Allah, then 43:19 worshipping Him, not associating 43:22 anything with Him, and living according 43:24 to His guidance, doing good, upholding 43:27 justice, and fulfilling trusts. If you 43:31 are grateful to Allah, Allah will be 43:33 pleased with you. Wala taziru waziratun 43:38 wizra ukhro. And no bearer of burdens 43:42 will bear the burden of another. 43:47 Therefore, do not expect your parents 43:49 to carry your sins or provide 43:51 intercession for you. 43:53 If 43:55 If you believe, do not associate 43:57 anything with Allah, the intercession 44:00 of the Messenger and those permitted to 44:02 intercede can intercede for you. But if 44:07 you disbelieve, you are not grateful to 44:11 Allah, and you worship others besides 44:14 Him, then know that no one will be able 44:17 to bear the sins of another. Wala 44:21 taziru waziratun 44:22 wizra ukhra. Someone who will also be 44:25 responsible before Allah later for 44:26 their own deeds. It is impossible for 44:28 them to be willing to carry the sins of 44:30 others. Everyone will bear the 44:34 consequences of the deeds they have 44:37 done. Tumma ila rabbikum marjiukum. 44:42 Then to your Lord is your return. You 44:45 will not escape and will not be able to 44:48 run away. Then to your Lord, you will 44:51 all be returned. Fayunabbiukum bima 44:56 kuntum ta'malun. Then Allah will inform 45:00 you of what you used to do. Innahu 45:06 alimum bidzudur. Indeed, He is 45:10 All-Knowing of what is the secret kept 45:13 in our chests, hidden in the depths of 45:16 our hearts; everything is known by 45:18 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So it is not 45:23 just what is apparent, but the secrets 45:25 of our hearts are known by Allah. So 45:28 where will we flee to? These beautiful 45:32 verses of the Quran invite us to 45:34 contemplate, think, and encourage us to 45:36 be grateful to Allah. This is the path 45:39 of salvation. Hopefully, this brief 45:42 reflection can truly provide benefits 45:44 for us all, especially for myself 45:47 personally. Subhanakallahumma 45:50 wabihamdik, ashadu alla ilaha illa anta 45:53 , astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik, wallahu 45:56 minkum. That was the reflection on 46:06 Surah Az-Zumar verses 5 through 7. 46:11 Hopefully, we can meet again another 46:13 time. Alright, I am Muhammad Krishna 46:15 Oni Saputra and Algi. We take our leave 46:17 . Wabillahi taufik walhidayah. 46:19 Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi 46:20 wabarakatuh. 46:20 Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 46:22 wabarakatuh.
