0:15 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 0:16 , the Most Merciful. All praise is due 0:17 to Allah, and sufficient is He, and 0:18 peace and blessings be upon the chosen 0:19 Prophet and upon his family and his 0:21 companions, the people of truth and 0:22 loyalty. Peace be upon you, and Allah's 0:23 mercy and blessings. Brothers and 0:24 sisters, may you be blessed by Allah 0:26 the Almighty. Welcome to the afternoon 0:28 sermon with me, Isa Alkaf. And as 0:31 always, brothers and sisters, in our 0:34 afternoon sermon, we are accompanied by 0:36 Ustaz Zain Alhadi, who has joined us in 0:39 the studio. Peace be upon you, and 0:41 Allah's mercy and blessings, Ustaz. 0:42 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 0:44 mercy and blessings. Praise be to Allah 0:45 , I am well. 0:46 Masyaallah, praise be to Allah. In the 0:47 midst of this rain, so serene, 0:50 Ustaz was still able to come. Praise be 0:52 to Allah, Ustaz. It’s cooling. 0:53 You made it through the traffic, Ustaz. 0:56 Masyaallah. The traffic was quite bad 0:57 earlier. 0:58 I saw the traffic on my way here, but I 1:00 don't know, praise be to Allah, it was 1:02 empty. 1:03 No, praise be to Allah, it was empty. 1:07 We are here with Kang Yusuf Subangkit 1:09 and Kang Atep as well, may they be well 1:11 . And today, Ustaz, brothers and 1:16 sisters, we will discuss "Light Amidst 1:19 Darkness," or in Arabic, "Nur among 1:21 various Zulumat." 1:24 Indeed. 1:25 We often encounter terms regarding " 1:27 light," Ustaz, in the Qur'an. 1:30 Frequently, light is described in 1:33 various ways. 1:34 Prophet Muhammad is called a light, 1:36 then the Book of Allah is called a 1:38 light. What is light really, Ustaz? 1:42 Sometimes when people are happy, their 1:44 faces also shine. Like in one of these 1:46 groups, is anyone here? Neja. 1:49 Just had a baby, their face is glowing. 1:50 Extraordinary. Yes. 1:52 Actually, where does this light that is 1:54 often described originate from, Ustaz? 1:57 And what is darkness, Ustaz? Well, 1:59 there are many kinds of light; there is 2:01 sunlight, 2:02 moonlight, the moon, yes. 2:04 Various others, incandescent lamp light 2:06 , many. Yes. 2:07 Now, those are all 2:09 material light that is visible. Yes. 2:11 What is meant here is the inner, 2:13 spiritual light. 2:14 Hmm. 2:15 That which is invisible, yet it truly 2:17 exists. If the visible one can be 2:19 energy. 2:20 Hmm. Special energy for all materials, 2:24 including the body. Yes. 2:27 The eye can see because there is 2:28 material 2:29 light. 2:30 But the eye of the heart, 2:32 that inner light is the light from 2:35 Allah. The Prophet’s soul was 2:38 luminous. So, the human body is like 2:40 this; if there is light, the eyes see; 2:42 if there is no light, it is dark. But 2:44 later, there are people close to Allah 2:46 who can see in the dark, 2:48 but their inner sight— 2:51 it is bright, you know. All of this 2:53 world, is there not the manifest and 2:55 the hidden? 2:56 We, too. 2:57 Yes. 2:59 Ustaz Isa, yes, Ustaz Isa, the manifest 3:01 one is this body. 3:03 But the real Ustaz Isa is the one 3:05 inside. 3:07 The spirit, soul, thoughts, feelings— 3:09 those gain "Nur" through worship and 3:10 the like. 3:12 Now, when that "Nur" is good, the body 3:14 can dissolve indecency and evil, truly. 3:21 The prayer, it can do that. Desires are 3:25 like hot fire, right? Those desires can 3:29 be extinguished by light. 3:32 Spiritual light, inner light. 3:36 Everything exists, whatever it is, what 3:38 is visible and what is invisible, 3:40 everything; there is also an inner nose 3:43 , an inner eye, everything is there. 3:46 Everything exists, the Quran as well, 3:49 the Quran that is written is what we 3:51 see. 3:51 Yes. 3:52 The Quran in the Prophet's time, when 3:54 the Prophet received it, was inward, 3:55 invisible, 30 juz directly in the 3:57 Prophet's soul, that's why he was told 3:59 to "iqra"(read), and the Prophet read 4:01 it immediately. That. Would the Prophet 4:04 not be able to read? If the Prophet 4:06 couldn't read, why would God command 4:08 him to read? That means God knew he was 4:10 already capable, it was given 4:12 beforehand. That is what is called the 4:15 Nuzul Quran. Now, the "iqra" part is 4:18 called tanzil like that. So, all of us 4:24 have both the outer and the inner, 4:26 everything. Now, this "nur"(light) 4:31 referred to here is the light that can 4:35 see the abstract. 4:38 Seeing what is false and what is true. 4:40 H 4:41 what is wrong, what is right. It 4:44 can do that. Now, for people who do not 4:46 have that light, it is dark. They are 4:48 people of falsehood, they like to flip 4:50 things around, they even defend it. 4:51 They say it is true. Yes, if it's the 4:54 Quran, the forbidden and the 4:55 permissible are already clear, they can 4:56 be seen. But other than that, you see 4:59 it using the light of the heart's eye. 5:02 The heart's eye. MasyaAllah. MasyaAllah 5:04 . Jazakallah khair, Ustaz. 5:06 Before we discuss deeper, for those who 5:08 want to join, please contact 0811999720 5:14 or call 0218451512. And before we begin 5:20 , let us together, brothers and sisters 5:23 , recite the Ummul Quran, Surah 5:25 Al-Fatihah. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 5:30 Alhamdulillahirabbil alamin. 5:44 Amin. Amin ya rabbal alamin. May the 5:46 blessing of the Al-Fatihah we recited 5:49 cause Allah to give His guidance and 5:51 send down His light for us all so we 5:53 can see the truth and know how to avoid 5:56 falsehood. Alright, let us listen to 5:59 the explanation of one light among 6:01 various "zulumat" or various darknesses 6:04 from Ustaz Zain Alhadi. Please, Ustaz. 6:07 Alright, thank you. 6:09 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 6:11 Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin, 6:13 arrahmanirrahim. Wasalatu wasalamu ala 6:18 sayyidina Muhammadin asrofil mursalin 6:21 wa ala alihi wasohbihi waman tabiahum 6:24 bihsan yaumiddin, asalamualaikum 6:26 warahmatullahi taala wabarakatuh. 6:31 Listeners and viewers, all beloved by 6:33 Allah, alhamdulillah, our topic this 6:35 afternoon is discussing the issue of 6:37 one light among various darknesses. The 6:42 light referred to here, both the 6:43 manifest and the abstract, is the 6:45 Prophet's teaching which comes from 6:46 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. The first is 6:49 that light, first the Al-Quran, then 6:51 Prophet Muhammad, and subsequently 6:53 there are many. That light, one 6:57 Al-Quran, one Islam, one in the midst 7:02 of "zulumat"(darknesses). Now, "zulumat 7:03 " is a plural word including injustice 7:07 and all kinds of darkness. What is that 7:09 darkness? It is misguidance and so on. 7:12 People who are blind in their heart's 7:14 eye, who lack humanity, live in " 7:16 zulumat". There is no light. If there 7:19 is light, they must possess humanity. 7:22 Humanity, a life that is just and 7:23 civilized. That is what is desired by 7:25 Pancasila, it is actually a light. This 7:28 path of light. This light (nur) is what 7:31 humans need to guide their lives. 7:34 Guidance (hudan). Guidance is also a 7:36 light. Light. So the Qur'an is 7:39 primarily light. The Qur'an is light. 7:42 The Qur'an has many names, such as 7:44 Al-Furqan, and An-Nur. There is so much 7:46 in An-Nur. Among them, there is light. 7:48 There is light upon light, there is 7:50 much of it. Later, people who receive 7:51 more light will have light upon light 7:53 combined. It comes in many forms. But 7:56 the light itself is one. Islam is one. 7:59 Truth is one. Now, what is it that is 8:01 many? What is many is the darkness ( 8:02 zulumat). It is the plural form of 8:04 zalam. Zalam means darkness, hence 8:06 zulumat. Zulumat and injustice (zalim) 8:08 go together. People in darkness are 8:10 surely unjust. People who are within 8:13 the light surely possess human 8:15 compassion. Pity and love, right? Those 8:19 in darkness never know love, never know 8:22 compassion. There is no love, it does 8:25 not exist. They can sing love songs, 8:28 but they cannot share love, cannot 8:30 share affection. They can sing the 8:33 Pancasila, they can shout about 8:34 Pancasila. But they cannot practice 8:37 humanism or justice in many ways. For 8:42 that, there must be light. The light in 8:45 question is the light that illuminates 8:47 the path of life. The path of life 8:49 leading to eternal happiness. Everyone 8:52 wants to be happy, but they aren't. 8:54 There is no happiness in this world. In 8:56 this world, there is happiness in front 8:58 , and suffering behind. On one side 9:01 there is suffering, on the other side 9:02 there is happiness. It alternates; this 9:05 is not the place for it. So if you keep 9:07 looking for happiness, you will only 9:09 tire yourself out. People here who seem 9:12 happy, it's not actual happiness, it's 9:14 tranquility. If you can just be 9:17 tranquil in this world, that is 9:18 happiness; there is no happiness 9:19 without tranquility. Now, that 9:21 tranquility is what you get if you live 9:22 in the light; you are calm. There is no 9:24 restlessness. That light illuminates 9:29 the path of life. If these roads are 9:32 from here to Bogor, to America, or 9:33 wherever, all are accessible. Because 9:37 there is sunlight, the light of the sun 9:40 is visible. But in the darkness at 9:43 night, you use sunlight too, but it 9:45 becomes a lamp. A lamp comes from 9:50 sunlight converted to fuel or coal, 9:52 right? Then it becomes a source of 9:54 light as well. But regarding right and 9:57 wrong, truth and falsehood, that is 10:00 light. The light that comes from God, 10:03 both come from God. But that enters the 10:06 soul, into the mind. When the mind has 10:08 that light, it becomes clear. But there 10:11 are minds that are not clear, there are 10:12 those that are polluted. The principle 10:16 is, if you can make things difficult 10:17 for people, why make them easy? Now, 10:19 that is polluted. If it is clear, if it 10:21 can be made easy, why make it difficult 10:23 ? That is backward. Now, from that, it 10:26 is clear which is which. So, if 10:28 something can be made easy, do not make 10:30 it difficult. Now, that is a person who 10:31 embraces Pancasila. That is a 10:32 Pancasilaist. But if someone keeps 10:35 making things difficult, they lack 10:38 humanism, justice, and civility. So, 10:46 the light also illuminates the path of 10:48 the Siratul Mustaqim from this world, 10:49 through death, into the grave, and 10:51 until the hereafter. The Siratul 10:54 Mustaqim exists from this world until 10:55 the hereafter. And they say there is a 10:56 bridge in the hereafter, that is the 10:58 Siratal Mustaqim from this world. The ' 11:00 mustaqim'(straight path) is here, but 11:02 it is also there. Well, it can be 11:05 straight with the help of the light ( 11:06 nur). Where does one get the light? 11:10 Through worship and spiritual 11:12 connection with Allah. That is 'Light 11:15 upon Light', passed down from 11:16 generation to generation. We receive 11:18 Allah's light from Allah to Prophet 11:19 Muhammad, to the Quran. Where do we go? 11:21 Read the Quran, follow the Prophet's 11:22 Sunnah. The Prophet possessed that 11:24 light, passing it through generations 11:26 and generations until it reached us. 11:28 Now, the paths from Prophet Muhammad to 11:31 mankind are many. There were many who 11:34 lived with the Prophet, weren't there? 11:36 How many companions were there? Many. 11:39 450. Those were the companions already 11:41 well-known for their goodness. But 11:43 there were many hypocrites as well. 11:47 That's not me saying it, don't say I'm 11:48 badmouthing the companions. The Quran 11:50 says it, not me. In Surah Al-Munafiqun. 11:53 What does Surah Al-Munafiqun mean? You 11:55 are hypocritical regarding the 11:57 hypocrites who pretended to be 11:59 companions. Yes, pretending to be 12:01 companions—there were many of them. 12:03 In Surah At-Tawbah, there are many. " 12:05 Qod kafartum b'da imanikum." You became 12:08 disbelievers after having faith. 12:09 Mocking. Just mocking, mocking the 12:11 scholars. "These scholars, when they go 12:15 to war, they walk so slowly.""But when 12:18 it's time to eat, they're so fast." 12:20 Well, others joined in laughing and 12:22 joking, and then the verse descended, 12:23 Allah said, "Do you make a mockery of 12:25 Allah's name and the Prophet's name?"" 12:29 Billahi wa ayatihi kuntum tastahziun." 12:32 Are you making a joke or a mockery out 12:34 of Allah's verses, Allah Himself, and 12:36 the names of Allah and His Messenger? " 12:38 Qad kafartum," some became disbelievers 12:40 because they deliberately joined in the 12:41 laughter—they are not forgiven. See, 12:43 many people now make jokes using sacred 12:46 names, may Allah protect us, using 12:48 sacred things as playthings. Just wait 12:50 and see if they don't repent. It's 12:53 already in At-Tawbah, it cannot be 12:57 changed. Religion is sacred; it must 12:59 not be treated as a toy. Let alone 13:01 religion, state symbols are also sacred 13:04 . How many people get punished for 13:07 stepping on or damaging the flag, or 13:08 are they not punished? White cloth, red 13:10 cloth, their fate is good if they 13:12 become one: the Red and White. If red 13:15 or white cloth is in the kitchen, it 13:16 becomes a rag. H 13:18 not noble. This means once it carries 13:22 the name of religion or the name of the 13:24 state, the Red and White flag is noble, 13:26 raised carefully, and carried with a 13:29 very neat gait. That is a symbol of the 13:33 state. Religious symbols must not be 13:35 made into toys like that. Right? That 13:41 is why only those who receive the light 13:42 can show respect. Whatever Islam is 13:46 called, the terminology is all being 13:48 changed. The old term was hypocrite, 13:50 the new term is cool. Everything is 13:52 made to sound cool. The darkness ( 13:53 zulumat) is made to look like light ( 13:54 nur). What are hypocrites called now? 14:00 Islamophobia. They gather with Muslims, 14:04 sometimes even wearing a cap. Some 14:07 women wear headscarves sometimes, but 14:09 they wear them improperly. It is clear 14:11 that it’s not right. When someone 14:14 becomes a defendant, they are called to 14:16 wear a headscarf, sir, wear white 14:18 clothes, or wear a koko shirt. Ah, 14:21 those are hypocrites like that. From 14:23 the Prophet's time until now, it is the 14:24 same. Sometimes I am also like that, 14:29 Muslim, but they hate Islam, well, 14:31 there are those. Well, that is not 14:33 right. This religion is a light. Islam 14:37 is also a light, a light that 14:39 illuminates life, the path of life. Now 14:48 , *zulumat*means darkness. What is dark 14:51 ? This world is bright, yet they remain 14:54 dark. Their brains are dark, their 14:56 thoughts are dark, their feelings are 14:58 dark. *Zulumat*. Living in*zulumat*. 15:01 There is no light at all in their 15:03 hearts. Dark. This room would be dark 15:06 if there were no lights. They have no 15:09 light, no worship, so they don’t know 15:14 what is right or wrong. Sometimes they 15:16 defend the*zulumat*. For example, it 15:19 once happened in the DPR that they 15:21 wanted to ban whiskey or something, and 15:22 they opposed it. Strange, right? Even 15:27 though they know that liquor is 15:28 dangerous. Many drunken drivers crash, 15:32 they know. Children getting into fights 15:35 , brawls, mambo, all kinds of things, 15:38 they know. But their brains are already 15:42 dark. Dark from the light of Allah. 15:44 Dark from the light of religion. They 15:46 defend the*zulumat*. They live in* 15:48 zulumat*. Now, what is Prophet 15:51 Muhammad's task? Prophet Muhammad's 15:55 task is described by Allah in Surah 15:57 Ibrahim, verse 1. In the name of Allah, 16:00 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. * 16:01 Alif-Lam-Ra. A Book which We have 16:05 revealed to you. **Alif-Lam-Ra*here. * 16:11 Alif-Lam-Ra*is Arabic, it is not a 16:12 foreign language. So people understand. 16:14 The Arabs are told and they understand. 16:16 This is the book revealed to you, O 16:19 Muhammad, *lituhrijannas*. to lead, to 16:24 pull, to save humanity from the abyss 16:27 of*zulumat*of the*Jahiliyyah*life like 16:31 that. Women were humiliated, children 16:35 were sometimes killed, buried alive, 16:37 all sorts of things happened. Save them 16:40 from the darkness, from*zulumat*into 16:42 the light, into the light of the Qur'an 16:45 , the light of Islam living according 16:47 to the Qur'an. Now this is scholars are 16:52 the successors of the prophets. This is 16:55 the task if they are truly the 16:56 successors of the prophet, the sunnah 16:57 of the prophet is this save people from 17:01 *zulumat*, not saving people who are 17:03 already doing*tahlil*or*maulid*. Oh, 17:05 those are already in the light. Those 17:10 are the ones in the nightclubs, in the 17:11 dark places of vice. Take the ustads 17:15 who like to argue there, go preach 17:16 there. I also once preached in a cinema 17:22 before the movie was shown, I went up 17:24 on that stage at Kartika Plaza in 17:26 Senayan. That. "Sir, that's enough, Sir 17:30 , the movie is about to start." So I 17:32 got down and went to the one next to it 17:34 , Block WM, what was it, rock or 17:36 something, ah I preached there again. 17:41 They had already set up lights, candles 17:43 , and what not, there were already many 17:44 guests. Oh yes, I got down. Now, 17:46 that’s where I met an ustad. Who is 17:47 that ustad? What ustad is that who died 17:50 having already become an ustad, a 17:52 former rock band player. Ah, you meet 17:57 many people there. Praise be to God. It 18:02 means that in missionary work (da'wah), 18:04 don't disturb those who are already 18:06 Muslim, who are already good; everyone 18:08 has shortcomings, we all have flaws. 18:11 Even I, as a religious teacher, still 18:12 have many shortcomings. Perhaps if you 18:14 dare to introspect, you also have 18:16 shortcomings. Therefore, do not disturb 18:18 others. Save those who are still in the 18:21 darkness so that we can be united. Not 18:24 constantly arguing like this. Better to 18:27 be strong. Ah, always arguing, we have 18:29 become weak. Always fighting. If a 18:33 teacher makes a slight mistake, they 18:34 get ganged up on endlessly. When do you 18:36 gentlemen actually do the missionary 18:37 work? When do you teachers do your 18:39 preaching? If every day is spent 18:42 arguing about issues like this, be 18:44 open-minded. I see that all these 18:46 teachers are good, just different in 18:48 their methods. The goal is the same: 18:51 preaching, inviting people to God. 18:53 Whatever their school of thought, they 18:55 invite people to God. Well, if the 18:57 methods have to be different, so be it. 18:59 Is a football team just one entity? In 19:03 football, a team consists of 11 people, 19:06 or 12? 11, right? 19:08 11. Yes. What if all 11 become 19:10 goalkeepers, a "goalkeeper school of 19:13 thought"? Who is going to score? If 19:16 everyone is an attacker, who will guard 19:17 the goal? 19:19 There are defenders, there are these. 19:20 Let Muhammadiyah be Muhammadiyah with 19:22 its ways, and NU be NU with its ways. 19:24 Wahhabis with their ways, as long as 19:25 they don't treat people harshly. All of 19:27 them are like that. The goal is 19:29 missionary work. They are also 19:30 preaching. Wahhabi missionary work is 19:32 also good. But don't be disruptive, 19:34 don't argue and kick your friends 'feet 19:37 . If we kick each other, how can we win 19:40 ? Now, we never win. We keep losing all 19:44 over the world. Kicking each other. 19:50 The goal is the same, to preach there. 19:53 Right? 19:53 True. 19:54 Work together to build good missionary 19:56 work. Don't be egotistical and feel you 19:59 are the most correct. None of our 20:01 knowledge is complete; we are all 20:02 limited. You read one suitcase of books 20:05 , another person reads another, they 20:07 are indeed different, but the goal is 20:11 the same. It’s impossible for one 20:14 person to read all the books in the 20:15 world, no. No one can be an engineer, a 20:19 doctor, a religious teacher, and 20:20 everything else all at once; life is 20:22 not long enough to read all the 20:24 knowledge in this world, there is too 20:26 much. We are all limited: limited 20:30 ability, limited knowledge. Be 20:32 self-aware. I see them all as good, 20:36 actually good, all having good goals. 20:38 Praise God, look, there are still many 20:41 mosques. Everyone, from the mass 20:43 organizations, Muhammadiyah, NU, all of 20:45 them, they are exactly the same, they 20:47 are all good, continue the goal of 20:49 missionary work, inviting people to God 20:51 , that is all. This isn't pure, what is 20:55 "pure"? Which one is pure Islam? Pure 20:59 Islam is that which does not disturb 21:01 others, it is good. All religions teach 21:05 kindness, teach goodness. If there are 21:09 shortcomings, the shortcomings are 21:10 God's business. That is not idolatry ( 21:14 shirk). Oh, God forgive me. What was 21:19 Prophet Adam told to do? That was a 21:22 jinn, not an angel. Adam said angels 21:24 never make mistakes. It was another 21:26 being. Not an angel, a jinn, or 21:27 anything else. He was ordered to 21:29 prostrate to Adam. What was that? He 21:31 committed shirk. He refused. If he had 21:35 obeyed, he wouldn't be an infidel. 21:36 Precisely because he refused, he became 21:37 an infidel. People bowing to their 21:42 parents isn't shirk, is it? Iblis 21:47 became an infidel and committed shirk 21:48 because he wouldn't prostrate. Do you 21:51 understand that point? 21:53 Oh, if you want to bow to your parents' 21:55 feet, that's fine. Everything is judged 21:58 by the intention. The intention of 22:00 kissing their feet is not "my father is 22:02 God, my mother is God." That doesn't 22:06 exist, everyone knows they aren't God. 22:10 What is the intention in your heart? Be 22:11 a little smarter, use your reason. No 22:15 one bows to worship them; it's allowed, 22:18 it's good manners. Manners mean 22:22 understanding what is right. How long 22:25 will this go on? Start understanding 22:28 now; tahlil, mawlid, none of that needs 22:30 a literal scriptural basis. It's 22:32 culture. Culture is not sunnah, nor is 22:37 it bid'ah. It's just culture. Why is it 22:42 that prayers at the mosque are scolded, 22:45 but birthdays at home, wild parties, 22:47 malls with happy birthdays, clowns, and 22:50 balloons are all different? The 22:53 difference is that the mosque is for 22:54 the remembrance of God. Astaghfirullah. 22:58 Right? 22:59 Yes. 23:01 So, that culture, if carried out well, 23:03 with affection, and eating together, is 23:06 good. Mawlid involves eating, yes, 23:08 eating. Eating together is fine; 23:11 there's no problem with it. Sharing 23:12 food with one another. That is the 23:14 beauty of it. Those with status and 23:16 those without eat together. Use your 23:18 reason for goodness. That doesn't 23:20 require a scriptural mandate. You mean 23:21 a mandate for mawlid? Oh my. If that's 23:23 the case, everything would need a 23:24 mandate. The Quran would be as big as 23:26 the capital city of Jakarta. That...I 23:29 don't mean to criticize, be aware. Do 23:32 not divide the community. In the end, I 23:35 suspect that people who keep throwing 23:37 out issues like this are doing it 23:39 intentionally for what? To make the 23:41 Muslim community chaotic. To distract 23:43 attention with things that cause 23:45 conflict. So, do not entertain them. If 23:48 you entertain them, they will keep 23:49 doing it. Who told you to...Don't 23:54 entertain them. Keep going, continue 23:56 the Mawlid, continue the tahlil. That 23:57 is worship, that is dhikr. Love for the 24:00 Prophet. Mawlid is love for the Prophet 24:02 . Parents throw a birthday party for 24:05 their child because of love. We love 24:07 the Prophet, so we hold a mawlid. Now, 24:09 if you hold a mawlid, you give a gift 24:11 to the Prophet, right? What is the 24:13 birthday gift for the Prophet? Right? 24:16 What is it? 24:18 Think about it. The Prophet loved his 24:21 followers dearly. Extraordinarily. He 24:25 would often cry. He said, "I long for 24:27 my brothers." The companions said, "We 24:30 are your brothers, O Messenger." No. 24:32 You are not my brothers. You are my 24:35 companions. My brothers are those who 24:38 live in a distant age. In a place far 24:41 away. They believe in me. The Prophet 24:45 kept crying. Allahumarham khulafa ba'di 24:47 . O Allah, have mercy on my successors 24:50 after me. The Prophet knew that after 24:53 he passed away, there would be chaos 24:54 and war among Muslims. Who said the 24:58 generation after the Prophet was good? 25:00 It was full of wars. Just look at 25:02 history. The Battle of the Camel, the 25:05 Battle of Siffin, this war and that, 25:07 the killing—the Prophet's family was 25:09 killed not by infidels, but by Muslims, 25:11 by those called caliphs who were not 25:14 true caliphs but hereditary kings. That 25:18 is past history, let us learn so we 25:21 don't repeat it now. Do not repeat it. 25:25 We are all the same, Muslims are equal. 25:28 We should stand shoulder to shoulder. 25:32 Leaving our religion, our country would 25:34 be better than what it is now. If we 25:38 keep fighting over this, it's 25:39 disruptive. That should be finished. 25:43 That is culture. Indeed, there is much 25:45 culture. Culture is not to be meddled 25:47 with. There is none. If everything is 25:50 counted as culture, then everything is 25:51 bid'ah (innovation). There is no basis 25:52 for it. Selling snake fruit is also 25:53 bid'ah. Selling... 25:56 Right? 25:58 Where is the evidence that the Prophet 25:59 sold snake fruit? Where is the evidence 26:01 that the Prophet gave Friday sermons in 26:03 Indonesian? 26:04 This is worship. 26:05 Yes, that worship 26:07 has no basis, right? 26:08 That means it is also bid'ah. 26:10 We perform tahlilan and go to hell for 26:12 bid'ah. He is also bid'ah. 26:14 Yeah. 26:15 Right? 26:16 He goes to hell too, right. But he is a 26:17 good person, you know. Those good Ustaz 26:19 who call everything bid'ah, they are 26:20 good people. They pray, they fast, they 26:22 give zakat, are they going to hell? 26:24 Well, no, hell is full enough with evil 26:27 people in darkness (zulumat). 26:31 True. 26:34 So I 26:35 so I am opening this up on purpose 26:36 because I do not want any division. 26:38 Muslims who hear this, do not follow 26:40 them. Do not answer and do not debate 26:42 them. It is useless to debate, they 26:44 won't accept it. Because their task is 26:46 indeed like that. That is their task. 26:50 Dividing people, from before I was born 26:52 until I was born and grew old, that is 26:54 all they fight about. 26:58 Astaghfirullahalazim, let's end it. 27:07 Allah invites us to follow the light ( 27:10 nur) of Allah; look, the light of Allah 27:14 is in the Quran, in the person of 27:17 Prophet Muhammad. Take that light. That 27:21 light is what guides us to paradise. 27:25 That light is a clear conscience, a 27:28 clear mind, a feeling of humanity. We 27:43 all unite in the light of Allah, the 27:45 divine light. Illuminating the path of 27:48 life on the straight path (siratul 27:50 mustaqim) heading toward the palace of 27:53 Allah. That is the characteristic of 28:08 people living in darkness (zulumat), 28:10 first, those who are not grateful for 28:13 Allah's blessings. Like Qarun. Qarun 28:19 asked for wealth, he was very rich. 28:21 Extraordinarily rich. His storehouses 28:22 were full of gold, silver, diamonds. 28:24 Full of storehouses. The keys to his 28:26 storehouses could not even be carried 28:28 by many people, according to the Quran. 28:29 Yeah. 28:32 Qarun's wealth was halal. His wealth 28:35 was lawful. But why was he punished? 28:37 Because his wealth was used in darkness 28:40 (zulumat). His wealth was used to 28:43 oppose the laws of Allah. His wealth 28:46 was used for immorality and all sorts 28:47 of things. He did not want to spend it 28:51 for good. That is all. So it is not 28:57 just about seeking wealth, using it 28:58 must also be proper, must be in the 28:59 light, in goodness. So people who fund 29:05 the Prophet's birthday celebration 29:07 perform a great deed. Why? We love the 29:11 Prophet; this religion is love. To get 29:13 the light, one must love. Without love 29:15 for the Prophet, you won't get the 29:16 light. The light of Allah is also 29:18 loving Allah. Look at Surah Al-Baqarah 29:22 165. It is there. Waminanasi. There is 29:31 a matter of shirk and a matter of faith 29:32 there. In that one short verse, there 29:34 are two laws. One law: who are the 29:37 people who commit shirk? Waminanasi man 29:39 yattakid min dunillahi andadan. There 29:42 are among humans those who create 29:44 rivals or competitors to Allah. 29:47 Creating other gods besides Allah. What 29:50 are their gods? Made and then 29:52 worshipped. No. What constitutes shirk 29:56 is yuhibbunahum kahubbillah. 29:59 That which is loved, statues, wealth, 30:03 obsession with fame, obsession with 30:05 praise, 30:08 fame, 30:09 all fame and so on. He wants to rival 30:12 Allah; that is arrogance and so on. 30:14 That is what shirk is. 30:17 So it is not statues, not crosses. That 30:18 is a different matter. Put a cross 30:22 right here. Two pieces of wood arranged 30:25 like that. There is no problem. Why are 30:30 wood and iron being labeled as shirk? 30:33 Even graves. It’s a pity, graves are 30:35 being accused of shirk. That grave is 30:37 already dead. Who wants to ask the 30:39 grave? That is a deranged person, 30:42 asking someone who is already a corpse. 30:46 Shirk is among humans, in the midst of 30:47 humans. 30:49 In a kingdom where the living follow 30:51 the scholars even if the king is wrong. 30:55 Right. It’s everywhere. Forgive me, 30:59 it was strange here too at one time. 31:01 May I tell a story? A real event from 31:04 the past era, the old order, it's 31:06 awkward to name it, the old order. The 31:09 order. 31:09 The order. The old era. At that time, 31:12 if the president gave a speech, the 31:14 people listening in front of the DPR, 31:16 the chairman of the DPR, would applaud; 31:18 he breathed a little, applauded again, 31:21 breathed again, applauded again; they 31:23 fought to applaud because they were 31:25 being filmed, they wanted to be seen. 31:29 Well, one time the president said 31:31 everything was good, but on this 31:33 particular matter, it is a pity it was 31:36 less successful. They still applauded. 31:42 Yeah. I don’t know if that still 31:43 happens now. I don’t know. You 31:45 probably know better than I do. Well. 31:49 If things are played like this, it is 31:52 strange. 31:53 Where is human reason? 31:55 Trapped in falsehood. 31:57 Yes, falsehood. Sycophancy. Sycophancy 32:02 is close to shirk. Devoting oneself to 32:07 humans, loving them like loving Allah. 32:11 Even when wrong, they are still praised 32:13 . If someone is wrong but praised, that 32:15 is the theory of decay, meaning he is 32:17 happy that this person keeps making 32:18 mistakes. Ah, this is the thing, I 32:22 don't know if it exists now or not, I 32:23 don't know. Hmm, do you think it exists 32:27 ? I am actually asking, I want to know, 32:29 dear listeners. Does that still exist 32:31 now? Let us be genuine humans, with 32:37 humanity, just. To be fair in judging 32:43 is to be fair. Do not always justify 32:45 our own group. That makes us blind. 32:51 Darkness includes ignorance. We live in 32:56 a shell, in such a narrow way. Thinking 33:00 everything here is the most correct. 33:01 While everything outside is wrong. 33:02 That's why we are never truly right. A 33:05 righteous person is one who often feels 33:07 wrong, so they keep improving. A 33:10 knowledgeable person is one who always 33:12 feels less capable, less informed. So 33:14 they keep seeking. If they feel they 33:16 are the most correct, the most pious, 33:17 they won't learn anymore. They won't 33:20 listen to other preachers. They assume 33:21 everyone else is misguided. Even though 33:23 there is much wisdom from other 33:24 preachers. I gain so much knowledge 33:26 from the ustadz I listen to; I enjoy it 33:28 all. It’s impossible for us to know 33:31 it all; reading books is exhausting 33:32 anyway. It's nice to just listen to 33:35 many good things. It’s impossible for 33:38 us to know everything, impossible. Ah, 33:41 that is how a human should actually be. 33:44 If you feel you’re already right, you 33:45 don't need anyone else's knowledge. Oh, 33:47 that......people used to say, excuse me 33:51 , this isn't about frogs. This is an 33:53 example like a frog in a shell. Meaning 33:55 , I equate that to knowing the world 33:57 only within one's own realm. Judging 33:59 things outside as wrong without having 34:00 even seen them. If we are objective, we 34:03 see things as they are. I see the 34:06 current Islamic organizations as very 34:07 good. With just a few minor flaws. What 34:10 is lacking? What are the shortcomings, 34:12 what is ugly? The bickering. Otherwise, 34:14 it’s already good. There are many 34:15 madrasas, many mosques. The Islamic 34:17 community built those with their own 34:18 funds. There are many orphanages. From 34:20 where? All from the donations of the 34:22 Islamic community. These people, these 34:24 Muslims, are very kind. What's not so 34:27 good is that the ustadz like to fight. 34:30 Those organizations. It’s a pity, the 34:32 community is confused. Now, the younger 34:34 generation doesn't want to listen to 34:36 sermons anymore. They find it dizzying, 34:37 they say. The ustadz says so. That 34:39 ustadz says this. So how do you learn? 34:41 I just read the Quran translation. I 34:44 think, if this keeps going, we will 34:46 lose the community’s trust in us. Now 34:53 , the true duty of the ustadz, 34:54 including myself, God willing, is to 34:56 lead people from darkness to light. So, 35:00 what is the darkness? The sins that 35:02 Allah has clearly forbidden. We 35:05 shouldn't just make up what counts as 35:07 sin. No, you can't do that. Until the 35:10 end of time, if someone tries to— 35:12 excuse me, excuse me—eradicate tahlil 35:14 , I tell you, it will never succeed. 35:15 It's useless. The Islamic community has 35:20 internalized the mawlid and tahlil. 35:22 They feel its blessings. They see 35:24 it’s good, there is preaching, there 35:26 is everything; no matter how you 35:27 condemn it, they won't stop. It’s 35:30 just exhausting, a waste of energy that 35:31 leads to division. Seek out other forms 35:34 of darkness that are truly, definitely 35:35 darkness. There is certainly plenty of 35:38 darkness—extortionists going into 35:40 villages claiming to be collectors. And 35:43 what about online? 35:46 Clever on land. 35:47 Clever on land. There are those online 35:48 loans too. 35:49 All of that is heresy. 35:52 Yes. 35:53 Go into those villages and chase those 35:55 people out. 35:56 Be with the people. 35:57 If you want to fight, go there. Not 35:59 sitting at a table eating comfortably 36:01 from afar. That’s heresy. That’s 36:03 heresy. You should join and sit there 36:07 at the tahlil. See for yourself 36:10 what’s heretical about it. I once 36:13 brought someone, pardon me, a scholar, 36:15 I won’t mention his name. He was 36:18 anti-Mawlid. He said, "Ah, what is this 36:19 ?""Father, join me." I brought him to 36:22 Kampung Sawah. I gave a lecture, 36:25 finished, and left. How was it? What do 36:27 you think? Did you see the error 36:29 earlier? That was a dakwah lecture 36:31 there. Everything was like that. So, 36:35 what then? Yes, that’s right. But you 36:37 were wrong to call Mawlid heresy. 36:38 Alright, I’ll change the name. What 36:41 will you change it to? Reviving the 36:42 Prophet’s Sunnah. Ah, that’s 36:44 allowed. That’s why the Muslim 36:46 community should make new invitations: 36:48 Reviving the Prophet’s Sunnah or 36:49 Loving the Prophet for the Prophet’s 36:51 birthday. Everything people call heresy 36:55 , tahlil too, what’s wrong with it? I 37:01 was once in a place like that, someone 37:02 had died, was buried, and people were 37:03 arguing about whether to do talkin or 37:05 not. I arrived just before Maghrib. At 37:07 Maghrib, I stepped forward to lead the 37:08 prayer. We said our greetings, then 37:11 recited 'la ilaha illallah', 'istighfar 37:13 ', 'subhanallah', 'alhamdulillah', 'la 37:15 ilaha illallah', we did the usual dhikr 37:17 . Then we prayed for the deceased, and 37:18 the homeowner was someone who was 37:19 anti-it. "See, Ustadz, it was like that 37:22 , right? Reciting the Prophet’s 37:24 prayers like a tahlil, it’s the same, 37:26 right?""Where is the wrong in it?" Oh, 37:31 you and your eating. If the food comes 37:34 from the bereaved family, that’s not 37:36 good, especially if they are poor. You 37:40 must understand, looking after the 37:42 deceased is—check any school of fiqh 37:44 —any school at all, it’s called 37:47 fardu kifayah. The burden is on the 37:50 community, not the family of the 37:52 deceased. Fardu kifayah. A neighborhood 37:56 . One neighborhood unit or community. 37:58 They are all the ones who must take 38:00 care of it. Everything. If there is a 38:02 tahlil, they should pay for everything. 38:03 Ideally, the food should come from the 38:05 neighbors. The house of the deceased 38:07 shouldn’t have to cook. That’s the 38:11 Prophet’s Sunnah. But there are 38:14 people reading there while arriving for 38:16 Maghrib prayer in congregation, Isha 38:18 prayer together, after praying we just 38:20 sit. Well, do dhikr. And then, pray for 38:25 the dead. It is commanded, even taught 38:28 by Allah in the Quran. 'Rabbighfirli 38:30 waliwalidayya walil mu'minina wal 38:32 mu'minat.' Prophet Noah was different. 38:34 'Waliman dakhala baitiya.' Lord, 38:36 forgive me, my parents, and anyone who 38:38 enters my home, forgive them. That is 38:40 human compassion. We, who love each 38:43 other, pray for our brothers. That is 38:46 how we understand religion. Not 38:49 narrow-minded. What is haram is clear, 38:52 what is halal is clear, what is makruh 38:54 and mubah is already defined. Now, 38:56 these mubah things are many. This 38:58 culture is mubah. This mubah can become 39:01 haram, can become halal, can become a 39:03 reward. It depends on the method. We 39:07 hold Mawlid celebrations to make 39:09 children love the Prophet. How does the 39:11 Prophet coax children? What gift does 39:13 the Prophet enjoy giving? Give them 39:15 candies, biscuits, chocolate, milk, 39:16 nice gift packages. Distribute them to 39:19 the children. Every mosque that holds a 39:21 Mawlid should make the children, who 39:23 are loved by the Prophet—the 39:25 Prophet's ummah—happy. For mothers 39:29 with orphans who are struggling and 39:31 want this or that to eat, deliver it to 39:34 their homes. If you use food boxes, 39:38 don't just give one piece of meat. 39:40 There are five people in that house. 39:44 Give a piece of meat, an egg, and other 39:46 things—give plenty. Give it to those 39:49 houses. Just put it there. Happy 39:52 birthday to the Prophet Muhammad. Only 39:54 then will they understand that Islam is 39:55 beautiful. 39:57 People shout in speeches at mosques 39:59 that Islam is the most beautiful and 40:01 the best. Yet, they keep fighting. Now, 40:06 during the pandemic, you cannot eat at 40:08 the mosque. Send the food to the houses 40:10 ; those who want to donate can do so 40:12 with the intention of it being a gift 40:14 for the Prophet Muhammad. Let's not 40:16 call giving gifts haram anymore. If the 40:18 Prophet were still alive, would it be 40:19 okay to give him a gift? Yes. If he has 40:21 passed away, it is still okay to send 40:22 one. If we asked the Prophet in a dream 40:24 , he would surely say, "O Messenger of 40:26 Allah, there are many gifts here for 40:28 the poor—I love that ummah of mine." 40:30 Like that. The intention is a gift for 40:33 the Prophet. Distribute it to the 40:34 children so that love for the Prophet 40:36 is planted from a young age. Does he 40:38 know who his Prophet is? Don't let him 40:40 only hear things on YouTube, reading 40:42 things on YouTube where people curse 40:44 here and there. What kind of teachings 40:48 are you trying to leave behind? We only 40:50 shout. We think we are the best. Where 40:52 is the goodness in that? If we just 40:55 curse and get angry, and if someone 40:57 makes a small mistake, we gang up on 40:58 them. It is not certain that the person 41:02 being ganged up on is worse; they might 41:03 be better than those who are doing the 41:05 ganging up. Don't be like that. 41:09 Thinking you are the most righteous. 41:12 Love all the ummah, love all the 41:14 ustadhs. Don't treat ustadhs like that. 41:20 Even the ones from the Prophet's time, 41:22 people will still insist they are wrong 41:24 . Where is the error? If he only takes 41:28 from the opinions of scholars, from 41:29 books of hadith, from history books, 41:31 how can you blame him? If he is wrong, 41:34 burn the books. The books are wrong 41:35 then. He got it from the books, after 41:36 all. Right? I am not defending a 41:40 specific person. I am defending the 41:41 religion, I am defending the Muslims 41:42 whoever they are, and I am defending 41:43 the ustadhs. Don't be like that, this 41:49 ummah is tired. Use your intellect—it 41:55 is light upon light. 41:56 There are various kinds of light. The 41:58 light could be the Al-Qur'an. The 42:01 second light is intellect. The 42:03 Al-Qur'an is from Allah. Intellect is 42:05 from Allah. Intellect is light. 42:08 What is 3*3? 42:10 9. 42:10 What is the proof for that? There is 42:12 none. Use... 42:13 use your intellect. 42:14 Using intellect, one can quickly say 42:16 three times three is nine; that is 42:18 light. 42:19 Intellect is light that can distinguish 42:21 right from wrong, and if intellect 42:24 aligns with the Al-Qur'an—not 42:25 manipulating the Qur'an with intellect, 42:28 but letting intellect be guided by the 42:30 Qur'an. "Nur 'ala nur," like electrical 42:34 cables, that is "nur' ala nur." To 42:37 produce light, how many cables are 42:39 there? Two, right? 42:40 Two. 42:40 That is positive and negative, right? 42:43 Now, the intellect (akal) is negative. 42:45 If the intellect is connected, it 42:46 becomes positive. That is when it 42:50 produces light, "nur." If it is opposed 42:55 , it becomes fire, a short circuit. An 42:59 intellect that fights the Quran will 43:01 short circuit and burn. Now, the world 43:03 is on fire, not just any fire. Everyone 43:06 is busy making weapons of war. Because 43:09 there is no Quran. Not following the 43:10 Quran. It is not just between 43:12 non-Muslims; Muslims are also at war. 43:18 How many years has it been in Yemen? 43:19 How many years in Syria, in Iraq, then 43:23 now in Tunis, in Libya. These are the 43:27 people who claim to preach from the 43:28 Prophet. Who caused this? So, in short, 43:37 that is finished. Each of us must now 43:40 self-reflect. If you want to be saved, 43:43 stop being fanatical about schools of 43:44 thought (mazhab). Go ahead and be 43:47 Muhammadiyah, be NU, be whatever you 43:49 want privately. But when we are 43:51 together, I am a Muslim, and that is 43:53 final. What is your school of thought? 43:55 I am a Muslim. Finished. Ustaz, it was 44:03 interesting when you said that the 44:06 light we see 44:08 all comes from the sun, including the 44:10 moon as a reflection of sunlight, 44:13 including 44:14 what do you call it, lamps. 44:16 Energy stored in cars. 44:17 Car lights are energy stored from the 44:19 sun. 44:20 Yes. 44:20 So, where does the light of the 44:22 intellect come from? Earlier you 44:24 mentioned that God's book is light, the 44:27 intellect is light, then Prophet 44:29 Muhammad is light, and the Quran is 44:31 light too. 44:32 What is its origin, Ustaz? 44:33 The intellect is God's creation. Yes. 44:34 But this intellect is neutral. 44:36 Hmm. 44:37 It can be negative, it can be positive. 44:39 If this intellect follows the Quran, 44:40 it becomes positive. 44:42 If this intellect follows Marxism, it 44:43 becomes PKI (communist). 44:45 True. True. 44:46 Reading Leninism books and loading them 44:48 into the intellect, 44:49 it becomes PKI. 44:50 Yeah. 44:50 Yes. If the intellect is ignorant ( 44:51 jahiliah), then it becomes ignorant. 44:53 Yes. 44:53 Well, like that. So the intellect must 44:55 be "Quran-ized." That is why we are 44:56 taught the Quran from a young age. Yes. 44:59 Even just memorizing it without knowing 45:01 the meaning already influences the 45:02 intellect. 45:03 Yes. So the opener of the human 45:05 intellect so it can see, just as our 45:08 eyes see light, is the Quran. 45:10 Correct. Correct. 45:12 Here is an example. As I am speaking, 45:14 if there is a phone here, a laptop, a 45:17 cassette, or whatever, is my voice 45:19 recorded? 45:20 It is recorded, right? 45:21 The voice can be played back, right? 45:23 Yes. Now, with water, we cannot tap 45:25 into it to replay the sound, but the 45:27 water records it. Therefore, ladies and 45:31 gentlemen, I apologize, if you are 45:33 reading the Quran at home, studying, 45:35 worshipping, reading prayers, wirid, 45:37 dhikr, or any rotib, open some water. 45:40 One gallon is fine, one bottle is fine, 45:43 open it and place it nearby; the water 45:46 records what we read. If cassettes can, 45:50 and iron can. Why can't water? Water is 45:54 more flexible in its molecules. It 45:57 stores those Quranic verses and salawat 45:59 in this water. Well, our own bodies are 46:02 full of water. There is water in the 46:04 brain. 46:06 We drink this water that contains holy 46:08 verses and the Prophet's salawat, and 46:10 it enters through the mouth. It will 46:12 combine with the water that is in the 46:15 brain. The recording is brought there, 46:18 stirred there, and by Allah, the mind 46:20 becomes illuminated. Like that. If it's 46:25 for one night, two nights, 100 nights, 46:26 1000 nights, surely that child will 46:28 become righteous. That is the cure. God 46:33 willing, it will be faster and better. 46:35 That is why many ask for water to... 46:37 That has been done for a long time, 46:39 that is what is called ruqyah. 46:42 But is there no key for it now? What is 46:45 the key to why Allah commands us to 46:47 recite salawat to the Prophet? What is 46:50 the verse? Innallaha wa malaikatahu. 46:53 Remembering Allah and His angels. Yes, 46:58 Allah and His angels. So Allah decreed, 47:02 "O Muslims, recite salawat to the 47:04 Prophet." What is there in that? Allah 47:08 provides a secret of light (nur). The 47:13 angels place light in the Prophet's 47:16 salawat. So if you want to pray, or 47:19 whatever you want, recite salawat. What 47:21 is the key to that? What is it called 47:24 on a computer? 47:25 Password. 47:26 Ah, the password is salawat. Many 47:28 prayers are not accepted because they 47:29 don't recite salawat. They don't recite 47:30 salawat, and they don't even love the 47:32 Prophet anymore. 47:33 Ah, that's how people who just pray 47:34 usually are. 47:34 Ah, that is...Open the prayer with 47:38 salawat and close it with salawat. 47:40 Allahumma shalli ala Muhammad. 47:42 Allahumma shalli ala sayidina Muhammad. 47:44 Is it allowed to use 'sayidina' or not? 47:46 It is allowed. We are already 47:47 practicing Islam here. Don't be 47:49 stubborn about that. Masyaallah. 47:53 Jazakallah khair. Ustaz, 47:55 Muhammadiyah people go to heaven. 47:57 Ahlusunnah go to heaven. NU go to 47:59 heaven, good Wahhabis go to heaven. 48:02 Those who aren't ignorant and don't 48:04 curse the people. There are many good 48:06 ones, many righteous ones. Heaven is 48:09 vast, as mentioned here, it is vast. So 48:13 what gets you into heaven is not the 48:14 school of thought, but goodness of 48:16 heart. Qolbun salim. Asar 889. And the 48:22 Quran, the One who owns heaven 48:23 determines it. Allah is the one who 48:24 determines it. None of that is useful, 48:26 except for those who come with a qolbun 48:28 salim. Now, salim means the heart can 48:30 be clean, and what was it before? The 48:32 mind is clean. Read the Quran. Recite 48:35 the Prophet's salawat. Is reciting the 48:38 Prophet's salawat just once enough? In 48:40 usul fiqh it is said, "innamal amru 48:41 lil-tikar." All commands are repetitive 48:46 . God commands us to pray Maghrib once, 48:48 but the prayer is continuous. It’s 48:52 not like you repeat "tomorrow Maghrib, 48:54 tomorrow Maghrib," no. Salawat is the 48:56 same. That is why you should study usul 49:01 fiqh. If you know usul fiqh, you won't 49:03 be accusing things of being 'bid'ah'( 49:05 heresy); you will understand that the 49:07 first one to create usul fiqh was Imam 49:09 Muhammad al-Baqir, the Prophet's 49:11 grandson. Then it was continued by Imam 49:14 Jafar Sadiq, from Imam Jafar Sadiq to 49:15 Imam Shafi'i. That is a historical fact 49:17 . For those who don't like the family 49:20 of the Prophet, just read it, it's not 49:22 a problem. Love belongs to Allah. 49:27 Whether you want to extend it to the 49:28 Prophet, to the companions, or to the 49:29 family of the Prophet, that is up to 49:30 each individual. Go ahead. Those who 49:33 want to love Caliph Umar, please do. 49:35 Those who want to love Caliph Ali, 49:37 please do. There is no problem. Love is 49:40 indeed different for everyone. Do not 49:43 fight. The past killings are already 49:46 over. Do not keep it going. 49:48 Yes. 49:49 Wanting to have Yazids and Husseins 49:52 again? Don't, it is already over. 49:53 Done. 49:54 Right? Now, look at how the state of 49:58 Islam is, it is quite terrible. It's a 50:01 pity for Palestine. We cannot even help 50:03 Palestine yet. Alhamdulillah, this is 50:06 with, uh, what is his name, Mr. Langung 50:07 ? 50:08 Uh, Mercy. 50:09 Mercy. Alhamdulillah. Jazakumullah. 50:11 That is true great dakwah. Better to 50:15 spend energy there than eradicating 50:17 tahlil. Right? Wasting energy for 50:20 nothing. No. Huh? He 50:22 help Mercy, join Mercy, build a 50:24 hospital there. Right? 50:26 Yes. 50:27 Like that. Be rational. Now, why do 50:38 they live in darkness? Is there still 50:40 time? 50:41 Yes, Ustaz. 50:42 Oh, why do they live in darkness? This 50:46 is the continuation of Ibrahim verse 3. 50:48 Those who prefer the life of this world 50:50 over the hereafter. This is why they 50:52 live in darkness. Even though they were 50:55 born Muslim and even have high 50:56 knowledge, they can be in darkness. Why 50:58 ? They love worldly life too much. They 51:01 prefer the world more than the 51:02 hereafter. So what happens? They do 51:05 anything to get money. Told to fight or 51:07 antagonize their brothers, they do it. 51:09 As long as they get money. They love 51:11 life. Look at this. This love of the 51:15 world ruins everything. Everything. 51:19 Those who have high positions, live 51:21 comfortably, extraordinarily, they love 51:23 the world so much. They commit 51:25 corruption, then get caught by the KPK. 51:28 Right? Love of the world. You can be 51:31 rich in this world, but do not love it. 51:34 Be ready to leave it for the love of 51:36 Allah and heaven. Remember heaven, the 51:37 love of Allah, and returning to the 51:38 afterlife. This is the Quran, not my 51:40 own words. I have read Quran Ibrahim 51:42 verse 3. And they hinder the path of 51:44 Allah. And they block the path of Allah 51:46 . My dakwah is often blocked. Those who 51:51 block my dakwah are fellow Muslims, my 51:54 own brothers. But I do not want to name 51:57 them because I care for them. They are 51:59 servants of Allah whom Allah loves. 52:02 They are the ummah of Prophet Muhammad, 52:03 just like me. Why should I hate them? 52:05 No, I won't. But they are naughty. 52:09 Maybe someone else told them to do it. 52:11 Blocking the path of Allah. What is my 52:14 sin? I invite people to Allah, same as 52:16 them. But it's diverted. The next verse 52:23 is not for them. This part about them 52:26 being lost. This is for non-Muslims. 52:29 They are Muslims, they just disturb and 52:32 block sometimes, but they are still 52:34 Muslim. Many of them are righteous 52:37 Muslims. It is just that they are too 52:40 fanatical about their opinions. As if 52:42 Islam cannot be good if it doesn't 52:44 follow their way. Their way cannot be 52:47 used. Unfortunately, they need to 52:49 change. Because they keep going back to 52:51 what? Ibn Taymiyyah. Ibn Taymiyyah was 52:53 good in the field of muamalat, but in 52:54 the field of tawhid. If someone says " 52:56 usoli," he warns them once, warns them 52:58 twice, and the third time, he cuts off 53:00 their head. Astagfirullahalazim. That 53:03 is very harsh. There are many words 53:05 about killing in there. Terms for 53:08 bid'ah, and even more, many accusations 53:09 of kufr and takfir. In the end, this 53:11 book was read by ISIS, and they became 53:12 ISIS. So, this is the problem. Take 53:16 what is good from Ibn Taymiyyah, their 53:18 imam, for instance, take the good. 53:20 There is so much to discard, just 53:21 tip-ex it out. Other schools of thought 53:23 that are wrong or no longer correct, 53:24 just tip-ex them too. Those aren't the 53:26 Quran or hadith. The scholars of the 53:28 schools of thought did not receive 53:29 revelation, did they? Let us each 53:31 purify our own. There is safety in 53:33 everything. But instead, this is what 53:36 is taken, this. 53:38 That harsh stuff. Don't do that. That. 53:42 We are not told by God to be judges. We 53:46 are told to preach, to bring people out 53:48 of darkness into the light. Yet they 53:51 consider tahlil and mawlid to be 53:52 darkness, to be bid'ah. You are wrong, 53:54 sir. That is not darkness. If tahlil 53:58 and mawlid were darkness, everyone 54:00 would go to hell. Hell would be full of 54:03 Muslims. And the whole world performs 54:05 tahlil. How many don't perform tahlil? 54:07 Just a handful. Even abroad, there are 54:09 none. The whole world, from Morocco to 54:11 here. In Saudi, many do it secretly too 54:14 . Tahlil and mawlid are common. Those 54:17 who oppose mawlid are no more than 20%. 54:19 And even that is originally from the 54:20 Najd. 54:22 The people of Hijaz all celebrate 54:23 mawlid. If everyone who performs tahlil 54:28 is bid'ah and goes to hell, it would be 54:30 packed, it doesn't make sense. Then 54:33 they claim they are not committing 54:34 bid'ah. Yet, a Friday sermon in a 54:36 language other than Arabic is called 54:38 bid'ah and sends you to hell. So, 54:41 heaven would be empty. So, who is 54:43 heaven for? Would God really make 54:46 heaven empty just for them? It is for 54:49 them and for us, let's share it. That 54:51 would be nice, wouldn't it? For the 54:56 sake of worldly pleasure, they have the 54:57 heart to do those things. So many. They 55:01 are proud of that overflowing wealth. 55:04 Sometimes they say to others, "Why 55:06 don't you follow me? You follow NU, 55:09 you're poor. My father followed NU and 55:12 was poor, followed Muhammadiyah and was 55:14 poor, follow me. Look, I have four 55:17 houses, four wives, many cars, and 55:20 plenty of land." Now, this is "yuhibbun 55:24 hayat dunya." And their only task is to 55:28 intercept other schools of thought. 55:31 Studying this is not because of hatred. 55:33 I tell them, as fellow good Muslims, 55:35 don't do that. This ummah is already 55:38 suffering, tired, and weary; please, 55:40 stop. So, just like this, if they still 55:42 persist, go ahead. I implore other 55:44 Muslims, do not entertain them, do not 55:47 respond, just let them be, let them 55:50 continue like that. We will continue 55:53 tahlil, continue mawlid, especially 55:55 mawlid, because mawlid is truly a syiar 55:58 and a true connection of light between 56:00 us and the Prophet. Yes, this is the 56:02 connection of light between us and the 56:04 Prophet. Assalamualaika ya Rasulullah, 56:07 assalamualaika Habibullah. If that is 56:09 how one welcomes the Prophet's birth, 56:11 his arrival in Medina was preceded by 56:13 Musab bin Umair and Amar bin Yasir, who 56:15 were sent there first to convert 56:17 thousands of people. When the Prophet 56:19 was about to arrive, three days before, 56:21 people were already standing on the 56:22 hills out of longing for him. Yes. The 56:26 Prophet arrived, "Tala 'al-Badru' 56:27 alayna," that's how it went. This is 56:30 not clear to the Muslim audience. I am 56:31 confused. There was a mosque near here, 56:36 in East Jakarta. I don't want to 56:38 mention it, I'm embarrassed. They used 56:41 "Tala 'al-Badru" to welcome a 56:43 non-Muslim entering the mosque. It 56:46 gives me a headache; perhaps they don't 56:48 understand Arabic. We understand, and 56:49 we are confused. This is a welcome for 56:51 the Prophet. Is this person a successor 56:53 of the Prophet? Not really. That 56:57 happened. But this person is wealthy. 57:01 So if it continues like this, I pity 57:03 the Ummah. Falsehood and truth, right 57:07 and wrong are no longer clear. Right 57:09 becomes left, left becomes right. So, 57:12 the Mawlid of the Prophet is something 57:14 very good. A spiritual connection. And 57:18 the Prophet in Medina is in the Barzakh 57:19 realm. The Prophet is in Medina, but 57:21 not the Medina of humans. The dimension 57:24 is different. There is a real city of 57:26 Medina there. The Prophet and his 57:29 family live there. It is in his Barzakh 57:31 , but it is Medina. It is hard to grasp 57:34 . But that is how it is. And in that 57:37 realm, there are no limitations. His 57:39 gaze can look anywhere; he can look at 57:42 us right now. Wherever people are 57:46 commemorating his birth? He knows, it's 57:48 as if he is present, but his physical 57:51 form is not. How so? It is hard to 57:53 grasp. He is present, but he remains 57:55 there. That is the power of Allah. It 57:57 is difficult. In movies, there are 58:00 things that pass through, but this is 58:03 different, he is spirit, he has no 58:05 physical form. He can go anywhere in a 58:09 second, yes, that is how it is. " 58:11 Assalamu' alayka ya Rasulullah." Try 58:13 using common sense. "Assalamu 'alayka," 58:16 peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah 58:18 . Is the Prophet there or not? If he 58:23 were not there, why "alayka" instead of 58:25 "alayhi"? I have the proof. I have the 58:30 evidence, please ask those ustads, 58:31 those...what kind of ustads? The good 58:34 ones, those who love Islam. Ask an 58:37 ustad, when finishing prayer, why do we 58:39 say "assalamualaikum" to give greetings 58:40 ? "Assalamu' alaikum warahmatullahi 58:42 wabarakatuh." The grammar is for "you 58:44 all"(plural). 58:45 A large number. But if you are alone in 58:48 your room, who are you greeting with " 58:51 kum"? Peace be upon you all. "Assalamu 58:56 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh." 58:57 When you pray, you turn your head right 59:00 and left. That "kum" is a greeting to 59:03 you all, because when we pray, billions 59:06 of beings are beside us, to the right, 59:08 left, front, and back. But they are 59:11 invisible, the dimension is different. 59:14 Beings, spirits. That is why we must 59:18 greet them. O Allah, to be a believer 59:21 is to believe in the unseen (bil ghaib) 59:24 . Believing in the unseen like this, 59:26 not the kind from shamans. When we give 59:33 that greeting, we are greeting billions 59:36 of beings. When we pray, they are all 59:38 around us. But we don't feel it. Later, 59:42 when it is clear, you will feel it in 59:44 your head. If you don't want to, then 59:48 why say assalamualaikum? I want to ask. 59:50 I ask the Ustadz to answer. To you all. 59:54 Who are you that are being greeted? It 59:57 is impossible that they aren't there. 1:00:02 Now, look at that. Peace be upon you, 1:00:04 and Allah's mercy and blessings. Those 1:00:05 are the creatures of Allah. Who truly 1:00:07 come in crowds when someone is praying. 1:00:12 We are currently holding a Mawlid, as 1:00:13 long as it is sincere for the sake of 1:00:15 Allah. Love for the Prophet. The 1:00:17 Prophet and his companions are present 1:00:19 there. They are not dead, they are 1:00:20 alive. But don't ask, "Where are they 1:00:24 sitting, Ustadz?" They don't need to 1:00:26 sit; they are spirits. The power of 1:00:31 Allah. God can fold time and can fold 1:00:33 the world. All of that is not strange 1:00:35 for Allah. We believe in what is from 1:00:38 Allah, those who believe in the unseen. 1:00:39 We cannot see everything. I just proved 1:00:42 it by reading Quranic verses that 1:00:43 people used to underestimate. What is 1:00:46 this water selling? Blah blah water, 1:00:48 people say all sorts of things. Think 1:00:49 about it now, if on cassettes, on metal 1:00:52 , on plastic, our recitations can be 1:00:55 recorded and stored there. Why not 1:00:57 water? No. If this is Quranic water 1:01:01 that is recited over and then drunk, it 1:01:03 mixes with the water inside the body, 1:01:05 in the brain. It becomes clear. That is 1:01:08 the Quran, the light of Allah. The 1:01:10 Quran moves everywhere. It is on 1:01:13 cassettes, on laptops, everywhere, it 1:01:14 is in our heads. That is part of what 1:01:16 we memorize, right? That is the Quran. 1:01:20 Here, there is Quran in the air. If you 1:01:23 become a wali, you can read it, but not 1:01:25 every time. It appears once in a while. 1:01:29 So, what is a wali? It means a clean 1:01:30 person, their brain is clean—well, 1:01:32 maybe not perfectly clean, but their 1:01:33 thoughts are clean. There is no stored 1:01:36 malice, hatred, or vengeance toward 1:01:37 Muslims. There is none. God willing, 1:01:41 you can receive light. It is not enough 1:01:44 just with the knowledge we read and 1:01:45 memorize; that is enough, but it is 1:01:47 lacking. There must be light. One. 1:01:49 Second, worship must have guidance. 1:01:53 Without guidance, it is heavy. Moreover 1:01:55 , the Prophet has passed away. Who do 1:01:57 you want to ask? Ask the scholars. 1:01:59 There are so many scholars. Every 1:02:01 scholar has different opinions. Which 1:02:02 one do we choose? Then we get confused 1:02:04 again. Well, that is the function of 1:02:07 our worship. A spiritual path. A 1:02:09 spiritual path. Worshiping through 1:02:12 salawat upon the Prophet, love for 1:02:13 Allah, love for the Messenger, love for 1:02:15 everything. At night, sit in 1:02:17 contemplation, recite salawat. There, 1:02:21 you will receive guidance and spiritual 1:02:23 light. Guided and protected. Once your 1:02:30 heart is close to the path, it is like 1:02:33 a chain. From the Prophet, to where? 1:02:36 You want to take the path of Caliph Abu 1:02:37 Bakr or Umar, please go ahead. I want 1:02:40 to take the path from this one, please 1:02:43 go ahead. Each of their chains connects 1:02:45 there. The important thing is that the 1:02:47 chain connects to the Prophet. Also, 1:02:49 don't blame the people of the Tariqa, 1:02:50 calling them innovators or whatever. It 1:02:52 is a spiritual connection. The 1:02:56 spiritual connection for the Naqshbandi 1:02:58 is to Caliph Abu Bakr, while others are 1:03:01 to Caliph Ali. The light from the 1:03:04 spirituality of love connects there, 1:03:06 right. Walladzina amanu asyadu hubban 1:03:09 lillah. Surah Al-Baqarah. Believers 1:03:11 have an intense, a very intense love 1:03:14 for Allah. Learn to love Allah. Nurture 1:03:17 your heart to love Allah more. Make 1:03:20 Allah the one we love the most. Shirk 1:03:22 is when we make wealth the thing we 1:03:24 love most, or objects, or so-and-so the 1:03:26 one we love most; that is shirk. We do 1:03:29 not love the deceased. No one loves a 1:03:31 corpse. People's love is directed 1:03:33 toward the living. Quran Surah 1:03:36 Al-Baqarah 165. Believers have a very 1:03:38 intense love for Allah. Those who 1:03:41 commit shirk are those whose love for 1:03:42 others is greater than their love for 1:03:43 Allah. If Allah is loved first, then 1:03:45 mother, father, wife, and so on, it is 1:03:47 permissible. But making Allah the most 1:03:49 beloved is a requirement of faith. So 1:03:52 don't make a fuss claiming to be a 1:03:53 believer if you don't love Allah. Allah 1:03:56 must be made the most beloved. Why 1:04:00 shouldn't He be, when He provides our 1:04:03 food, gives us life, and created all 1:04:05 our needs—oxygen, food, drink, blood, 1:04:07 hearts to pump blood, kidneys to clean 1:04:09 the blood—everything is systematic. 1:04:14 Our bodies were nourished while in our 1:04:16 mother's womb through the navel, and 1:04:19 upon birth, milk was already provided; 1:04:21 we weren't left clueless about how to 1:04:24 live, for prophets were sent. Without 1:04:29 the Prophets, we would make up our own 1:04:30 ways of living—some would become 1:04:32 communists or Marxists, making things 1:04:33 up, while the One who created life is 1:04:35 the only one who knows it. So He sent 1:04:37 guidance: this is how life should be 1:04:38 lived. Even electronic goods come with 1:04:41 a guidebook from the factory. 1:04:43 Instructions on how to turn them on and 1:04:45 fix them. We also have our book, 1:04:48 through the Prophet Muhammad. The Quran 1:04:51 is number one. Do not abandon the Quran 1:04:53 , but seek the correct understanding. 1:04:56 If there are scholarly interpretations, 1:04:58 choose which is more accurate. You 1:04:59 shouldn't just take one, in case it's 1:05:01 wrong. These scholars interpret using 1:05:03 their intellect. There is*tafsir 1:05:07 ma'thur*which comes from the Prophet, 1:05:08 the righteous companions, and the 1:05:10 Prophet's family; that*tafsir ma'thur* 1:05:11 is guaranteed to be true. The rest are 1:05:14 jurisprudential opinions. Scholars also 1:05:18 think using their intellect. Sound 1:05:20 intellect. Do scholars actually receive 1:05:23 revelation? Do those interpreting 1:05:24 receive revelation? Not necessarily; 1:05:26 their thinking can be right, or it can 1:05:28 be wrong. But, they are truly 1:05:30 extraordinary, aren't they? Because 1:05:31 generally, the scholars are good people 1:05:33 , that's all. Good. So, some of their 1:05:36 opinions can still be used today, while 1:05:38 others are outdated. In the past, a 1:05:42 verbal contract— "I accept the house, 1:05:43 " for a house purchase—sufficed. The 1:05:45 other party says, "I accept the payment 1:05:46 ," and it’s done and valid. Now, 1:05:49 using a notary, is that an innovation? 1:05:53 No, because the Quran says*walyaktub 1:05:55 baynakum katibun bil adl*, there must 1:05:57 be a scribe. That is already correct. 1:05:59 So, jurisprudence can change; that is 1:06:01 not a problem. It is indeed a means to 1:06:04 achieve an end. For example, regarding 1:06:07 contracts, marriages, or trade, the 1:06:09 command in the Quran is simply*antarin* 1:06:12 , mutual agreement and mutual 1:06:13 willingness. So, scholars wondered, how 1:06:16 can someone's consent be proven? Where 1:06:20 is the proof of their willingness? It's 1:06:21 in the heart, isn't it? "Hey, do you 1:06:24 want to marry this person?" One could 1:06:26 just pretend to say yes or no. We don't 1:06:28 really know either way. So, what then? 1:06:30 Proving it through the marriage vow, 1:06:31 the*ijab kabul*, was devised by 1:06:33 scholars. But it is true, to support 1:06:35 the Quran's teaching of mutual consent. 1:06:38 Now, between that consent and this, who 1:06:40 is who? Imam Syafi'i said, "The woman 1:06:43 is the one handing over, the man is the 1:06:45 one receiving." Other Imams said, "No, 1:06:47 this is party one, this is party two." 1:06:49 Both are correct, aren't they? Now, 1:06:52 trading works the same way. It's just 1:06:55 that in marriage, if there is a slight 1:06:56 delay between the offer and the 1:06:58 acceptance, it's fine. But some people 1:07:00 say if there's a delay, you have to 1:07:01 repeat it until they get bathed. It's 1:07:03 not like that, unless he says, "I marry 1:07:06 you to this person." Then he takes a 1:07:08 smoke break first. That would imply 1:07:11 belittling, not being serious, right? 1:07:14 That shows they aren't serious. But if 1:07:16 there's just a slight pause to catch a 1:07:18 breath, it's okay. 1:07:19 And the wording sometimes changes 1:07:20 because scholars in the past used these 1:07:22 specific sentences, right? Then someone 1:07:24 says the language has changed. Well, 1:07:26 those aren't divine, they were just 1:07:27 created. What if a person is mute? Well 1:07:31 , for a mute person, just a nod is 1:07:32 already valid. 1:07:34 Like that. What's important is showing 1:07:36 mutual consent. 1:07:37 Mutual consent. 1:07:38 Buying and selling is the same. If 1:07:39 there is mutual consent, it is allowed 1:07:41 in the Quran, *an taradin*, mutual 1:07:42 willingness. So, study history and 1:07:47 reflect on the past. How many of those 1:07:50 who were in darkness (*zulumat*) failed 1:07:52 to be grateful for God's blessings, 1:07:53 like Korah? They did not thank God for 1:07:56 His blessings. Look, other prophets 1:07:59 were also told to bring people out of 1:08:00 darkness into light (*nur*). Surah 1:08:02 Ibrahim, verse 5. We sent Prophet Moses 1:08:05 with our signs to bring his people out 1:08:07 of the darkness. From darkness to light 1:08:10 . Look at that. So this preaching, our* 1:08:12 ustadz*, God willing, is all about 1:08:14 bringing humans from darkness to light. 1:08:16 Preaching invites people to God with a 1:08:18 gentle way, from darkness to light. We 1:08:21 aren't told to carry sticks and beat 1:08:22 people. No. 1:08:23 Hm. Eliminating vice shouldn't be done 1:08:27 with our mouths. So, you cannot 1:08:31 eliminate vice with vice. You cannot 1:08:34 eliminate darkness with darkness; it 1:08:36 must be done with something good. Bring 1:08:38 them out of the darkness into the light 1:08:39 . *Wazakkirhum bi ayyamillah. *Remind 1:08:43 them of the days of God, that this 1:08:44 world has a time limit. That time will 1:08:47 come to an end. And those who are saved 1:08:51 are the patient ones. *Syakur*, those 1:08:53 who are patient and grateful. But 1:09:04 throughout history, there have been 1:09:07 those who follow the light who are 1:09:09 hated by those living in darkness. In 1:09:13 history, all those good companions of 1:09:15 the Prophet were opposed by other 1:09:17 companions who were in the dark. Abu 1:09:21 Dharr, for example, was constantly 1:09:22 persecuted. Mus'ab bin Umair, Ammar bin 1:09:25 Yasir, they were all opposed as soon as 1:09:27 the Prophet passed away. Those who seek 1:09:31 power, those who ruled afterwards, that 1:09:34 was after the four caliphs, right. So 1:09:39 we are asked to remain on the path of 1:09:41 light consistently and be patient. 1:09:42 There are trials on the path of light. 1:09:46 The trials come from Muslims themselves 1:09:48 . Throughout history, more Muslims have 1:09:52 been killed by other Muslims. Until the 1:09:57 end, the Umayyads, the Abbasids, and 1:09:59 then the Ottomans, they all ended up 1:10:00 fractured like that. But at that time, 1:10:05 it was still better than nothing. That 1:10:07 is also what we must protect, it was 1:10:09 still decent as the Ummah still had one 1:10:11 leader. Until the Ottoman era, they 1:10:14 also began to break apart, were pitted 1:10:15 against each other, and destroyed until 1:10:17 now, shattered into pieces. So what is 1:10:19 the meaning here? We are obligated to 1:10:20 yield to our fellow Muslims. If you 1:10:22 want to ask for something, do it gently 1:10:24 , not with harshness. Hopefully, this 1:10:29 is beneficial. We will give more time 1:10:32 for Q&A. 1:10:32 MashaAllah. InshaAllah. Jazakumullah 1:10:34 khairan, Ustaz, 1:10:35 for the explanation. Some questions 1:10:38 have come in, perhaps there is no need 1:10:40 for a long response to save time. Uh. 1:10:46 There are some greetings from Ibu Darma 1:10:49 , Bunda Abay, Ibu Ros, and Ibu Eje Ejeh 1:10:52 ; Ibu Darma sent a message, Ustaz. 1:10:56 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 1:10:57 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. SubhanAllah, thank 1:10:58 you for the knowledge, Ustaz. 1:11:00 Alhamdulillah. They said in this 1:11:02 neighborhood, if someone passes away, 1:11:05 the women go around collecting funds to 1:11:07 cook for those mourning, so the 1:11:09 grieving family doesn't have to spend 1:11:11 money to take care of the funeral, they 1:11:13 already have a group for it. 1:11:16 Oh, it's a routine group for when 1:11:18 someone passes away. 1:11:19 Alhamdulillah, hopefully, the 1:11:20 congregation here will all have long 1:11:22 lives and be given sustenance by Allah. 1:11:24 That is the right path, that is the 1:11:25 Sunnah of the Prophet. 1:11:26 MashaAllah. MashaAllah, they also say 1:11:28 there is a monthly death contribution. 1:11:30 Alhamdulillah. Yes. Collecting that for 1:11:32 , uh, funeral costs, tahlil costs, 1:11:34 everything is guaranteed by 1:11:37 that association. That is called fardu 1:11:39 kifayah. Fardu kifayah, indeed. That is 1:11:42 correct. 1:11:43 Now, this relates to light and Friday, 1:11:45 Ustaz. Because tonight is counted as 1:11:48 Friday night. 1:11:49 Friday night according to the Hijri 1:11:50 calendar. Assalamu'alaikum 1:11:51 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Ustaz, from 1:11:54 Sanem. Ustaz who is honored by Allah, 1:11:57 whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday 1:12:00 will be illuminated by light between 1:12:02 the two Fridays. My question is, what 1:12:05 is meant by being illuminated by light 1:12:08 between the two Fridays, Ustaz? Thank 1:12:10 you from Mr. Mr. San. 1:12:13 Yes. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Yes, 1:12:15 that is a Sahih hadith. 1:12:17 That Sahih hadith is true, the light 1:12:19 here includes protection. 1:12:20 Hmm. 1:12:21 The light can whisper to us. If we are 1:12:23 about to do something wrong, we are 1:12:25 whispered not to do it or not to act 1:12:26 upon it. It is beautiful, you will feel 1:12:29 it, read it continuously until the next 1:12:30 Friday, and you will be protected. The 1:12:33 light here could be angels, it could be 1:12:36 a voice, a beautiful whisper. 1:12:39 Hm. 1:12:40 There will be something whispering, so 1:12:42 you don't do it, and the devil's 1:12:43 whisper is defeated. InshaAllah, 1:12:45 reading it is very good, right? There 1:12:48 is a lot, uh, in Surah Al-Kahf 1:12:50 regarding Tawhid. About the oneness of 1:12:53 Allah, the greatness of Allah, and the 1:12:55 majesty of Allah. There is a story in 1:12:57 there about several young men 1:13:00 living before, before Prophet Isa, yes. 1:13:02 So there were no Prophets, no 1:13:03 messengers. Their society worshipped 1:13:04 statues and all sorts of things. These 1:13:07 young people often contemplated and 1:13:08 discussed, why should we worship 1:13:10 statues? They were made by our own 1:13:12 neighbors. 1:13:13 We see the god being made, and then it 1:13:15 is worshipped. I cannot accept that. 1:13:17 Then what about you? I think the God is 1:13:19 the one who made us, who made the sun, 1:13:21 the nature, and everything. That is 1:13:23 true, isn't it? That was how they 1:13:25 discussed. Every day, without an ustadh 1:13:27 , without a teacher, they could have 1:13:28 faith. They just didn't know the name 1:13:30 of Allah. 1:13:31 Worshipping whom? Worshipping the one 1:13:32 who made the sun, right. Finally, they 1:13:34 were about to be caught, they ran, and 1:13:36 then a policeman found their place. The 1:13:37 policeman came there. The policeman was 1:13:39 invited to discuss. The policeman said, 1:13:41 "I also thought the same thing. It 1:13:42 makes no sense. How can a God be made 1:13:44 by a god? 1:13:45 The one who owns that dog." 1:13:46 Yes. Then the policeman said, "You 1:13:48 should go, you will be caught later. I 1:13:50 will not arrest you.""Sir, you already 1:13:52 have faith, just come with us.""Yes, I 1:13:53 have a wife and children. You don't 1:13:55 have a wife or children.""Ah, just go." 1:13:57 That's how it went. In the cave, how 1:13:59 long did they sleep? In the Quran, it 1:14:00 says 300 years. 1:14:01 Yeah. 1:14:02 Plus 9. What is the 9? 1:14:06 9 1:14:06 interpreted as 9 days, 9 weeks, 9 1:14:08 months. No. This Quran is a miracle. So 1:14:12 , 300 solar years. If you calculate 1:14:16 using the Hijri calendar, add 9. Oh. 1:14:19 Because the difference between solar 1:14:21 and Hijri in a year 1:14:23 is almost 9 days, 8 days and some hours 1:14:25 . 1:14:26 So in 300 years, what is the difference 1:14:29 ? 9 years. So if calculated using the 1:14:32 Hijri year, they slept for 309 years. 1:14:34 If using the solar year, it is 300 1:14:36 years. The number of days is the same. 1:14:38 Yes. Yes. Yes. 1:14:39 The Quran mentioned it before the Hijri 1:14:41 year even existed. Now, that is 1:14:42 something only the Quran can do. 1:14:44 Amazing. Masyaallah. Every 30 years 1:14:48 uh, solar, it adds 1 Hijri year. 1:14:50 1 year. 1:14:51 Yeah. 1:14:52 So, whoever is 30 years old, if 1:14:53 calculated using the Hijri year, they 1:14:55 are 31. 1:14:56 If the age is 60 1:14:57 62. 1:14:58 62. Ah, yes. Ready, ready, ready, ready 1:15:01 Ustadh. Amazing. Masyaallah. 1:15:03 Jazakumullah khairan katsiran Ustadh 1:15:05 for the answer. Hopefully, brothers and 1:15:08 sisters are given the opportunity and 1:15:10 guidance and ease to read Surah Al-Kahf 1:15:13 tonight so that we are protected by the 1:15:15 light of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and 1:15:17 kept away from sin. Amin. Amin ya 1:15:21 rabbal alamin. Uh Ustadh, looking at 1:15:24 the Maghrib time which is getting close 1:15:26 Ustadh 1:15:27 perhaps there is a closing statement 1:15:30 from you, or we can just do a short 1:15:32 prayer. 1:15:33 There is, there is, there is perhaps. 1:15:34 Yes. Ready. Yes, God willing, stay calm 1:15:36 , ladies and gentlemen who are 1:15:37 listening. Just stay calm. Because in 1:15:40 all the hadiths, in every school of 1:15:43 thought, they know there are many such 1:15:46 hadiths. That's right. Mutawatir, 1:15:48 indeed. In Ahlusunnah alone, there are 1:15:50 over 1,000. Imam Mahdi will come. And 1:15:53 in the books, it is mentioned that all 1:15:55 the signs have appeared, so it is near. 1:15:58 The world also looks like it's getting 1:16:00 ready for battle. America, China, all 1:16:02 the way to our borders; in the south, 1:16:05 there are nuclear ships, and in the 1:16:07 north, at Natuna, it is also happening. 1:16:10 Calm, calm, calm, calm. Allah will send 1:16:12 Imam Mahdi to help us. That is Allah's 1:16:14 promise. Just stay calm, there is no 1:16:16 problem. Be ready. Be mentally prepared 1:16:19 . Prepare your heart to return to Allah 1:16:23 . To return to Allah. To live with 1:16:25 Allah there. Happy. No war, no chaos, 1:16:28 no disputes, nothing at all. Just be 1:16:31 happy. Be ready to worship. Remembering 1:16:34 Allah is enough. In the name of Allah, 1:16:36 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 1:16:36 Allah. 1:16:43 O Allah, O Generous, O Most Gracious, O 1:16:44 Most Merciful, guide us to the straight 1:16:46 path, 1:16:47 the path of Siratal Mustaqim. Grant us 1:16:49 the blessing of meeting the Imam of the 1:16:51 coming age. Make us his followers, be 1:16:54 with him, defend him, follow his 1:16:56 footsteps, 1:16:58 and die as martyrs with him. May 1:17:00 Allah's blessings be upon our master 1:17:01 Muhammad and his family, and praise be 1:17:02 to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 1:17:03 Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 1:17:04 May Allah reward you abundantly, Ustaz 1:17:06 Zain, for the explanation and the 1:17:08 answers to the questions. May this 1:17:09 become a door of guidance for all 1:17:11 brothers and sisters. May we receive 1:17:15 guidance from Allah SWT so that we 1:17:17 remain on the path of Allah, in the 1:17:20 light of Allah, and be spared from 1:17:24 preparing water for the children. 1:17:26 Yes. Brothers and sisters, for the next 1:17:30 study or perhaps for today, prepare the 1:17:32 water to be drunk at the end of the 1:17:35 event, Ustaz? 1:17:36 At home. 1:17:37 Oh, at home. 1:17:38 Worship at home on Thursday night, 1:17:39 right? 1:17:39 Oh yes, that's right. 1:17:40 Give it to the children to drink in the 1:17:41 morning. 1:17:42 Oh yes, that's right, Ustaz, when 1:17:43 reading Surah Al-Kahf, prepare the 1:17:45 water. Then after that 1:17:47 the next morning 1:17:47 drink it in the morning. Masyaallah. 1:17:49 Masyaallah. May Allah reward you, Ustaz 1:17:51 , for the practice; we accept the 1:17:52 authorization. God willing, may Allah 1:17:53 reward you. 1:17:55 Thank you also to Mas Atep and Mas 1:17:56 Yusuf Subangkit. Kak Abib is here, 1:17:58 Masyaallah, listening from the 1:18:00 beginning of the event. Thank you very 1:18:02 much as well. Thank you very much to 1:18:04 the brothers and sisters listening from 1:18:07 home via radio, TV, car radio, and 1:18:09 Rasil TV YouTube. May Allah reward you 1:18:11 abundantly. I am Isa Alkaf, signing off 1:18:13 . Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:18:15 and blessings. 1:18:16 And peace be upon you too.
