- blessings of good health, the blessings
- of long life in obedience, including
- the blessing of meeting us this morning
- in a healthy and sound condition, God
- willing, in order to carry out one of
- Allah's commands that is obligatory for
- all of us, namely seeking knowledge.
- God willing, this morning we will
- continue our study last week about rida
- , yes, last week we explained the
- virtues of rida. God willing, we will
- continue, then God willing, we will
- continue with the essence of rida.
- Hopefully, what we learn, what we study
- together, Allah will make into
- knowledge that is truly useful for us,
- useful in this world, useful in the
- afterlife. Amen, rabbal alamin. May
- peace and blessings always be upon our
- Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam and his family, his companions
- , his followers and practitioners of
- the sunnah, the listeners of Radio
- Silaturahim and the viewers of Rasil TV
- who are blessed by Allah. That at the
- last meeting regarding the virtue or
- fadilah of rida, I told you a narration
- that the Prophet of Allah, Musa
- alaihialatu wasalam, once said to Allah
- , "O Rabbi, dullani ala ala amrin fihi.
- O Allah, show me a matter, a thing in
- which your pleasure is present,
- contains your pleasure." Well, I'll do
- it later. Fahallahu taala ilaih. Then
- Allah revealed to the Prophet Allah
- Musa alaihiatu wasalam. This is what
- Allah said in my favor, it is your
- displeasure. It means something that is
- not liked by your desires, human
- desires. Wa antabir alroh. While you
- are impatient, you usually can't wait
- to face something that doesn't please
- you. Well, this means that Allah's
- pleasure lies in our pleasure when we
- experience something that is not in
- accordance with our tastes, not in
- accordance with our desires. But we
- accept it. Ah, that's God's pleasure
- will be there. Thus is the word of
- Allah to the Prophet Musa (peace be
- upon him) which was the last study of
- last week. So now it is narrated ma hua
- asyaddu min dzalik. There is something
- even greater than that. Wahua annallah
- taala qal. namely that Allah Subhanahu
- wa taala said, "Anallah la ilaha illa
- ana." I am Allah, there is no god but
- I. Allah said, "Man lam yasbir ala
- balai." Who is not patient in facing
- disaster, facing trials. Yes, I often
- say that trials from Allah are of two
- kinds. Sometimes Allah uses the word
- disaster and sometimes also uses the
- word patience. Yes. Eh, sorry, the word
- is not patience when it comes to
- disaster. Well, if a disaster is a test
- that does not please the heart, pleases
- our desires, that is called a disaster.
- such as death, being laid off, illness
- and so on. Yes, that is a disaster.
- When hit by a flood, no one is happy,
- who is happy like that. Well, if the
- disaster is a test in the form of this
- disaster, there are some that are not
- pleasant specifically mentioned earlier
- by the name of disaster, but there are
- also those that please our desires, our
- lusts such as being tested with wealth.
- That is a disaster too, right? That's
- why there is actually in Indonesian,
- there is also a relief, there is a
- disaster. Well, that's what a relief is
- pleasant. A disaster is unpleasant. Man
- lam yasbir ala balai. Yes, whoever is
- not patient in facing a test from me,
- says Allah, walam yaskur nai and he
- also does not want to be grateful for
- My blessings. Walam yard biqadi and he
- is not pleased with qadu, qada from me.
- Falyatlub rban siwaya, falyattakidban
- siwaya. Look for the word God other
- than Me. Do not deify me. This means
- that this is not perfect. He makes
- Allah his God. Yes, not yet perfect. Ee
- yaakulullah. Allah Subhanahu wa Taala
- also in Habar in the Masur hadith says
- which means this is a hadith qudsi.
- Khalaqtul khair wasyar. I make, I
- create goodness. I also create or
- create evil. So God created goodness,
- and God also created evil. Fatuba Liman
- Khalaqtuhu Lilhair. So lucky for the
- person I made for good. Then wait aloud
- . Then he walked on goodness. Above
- that goodness. Waun liman khqar. And
- woe to those whom I created for evil.
- Wajratusar alad. Then walk in that evil
- . Wawailun tumma wail. Then Allah said
- woe. It's such a disaster that Allah
- says it's a disaster twice. Liman qola
- Lima wa kaifa. For anyone who says five
- , why? Well, how? Why is God like this?
- Why is God like that? How can this God
- be like this? And and so on. It's a
- shame when people say that. I once had
- a student guardian come to me. Then he
- complained to me, "Ustadz," he said, "I
- pray because my husband invited me,
- taught me." Yes, he said, thankfully,
- until now, thank God, I don't just pray
- because of my husband's invitation, but
- now I realize that this is indeed my
- obligation as a servant of God. Now,
- what's surprising is that my husband
- has stopped praying, he said. Then I
- asked, "Why did he stop?" So it seems,
- Ustadz, he's blaming God, right?
- Blaming God. He's always been a
- diligent prayer person. Well, he
- stopped after being laid off. So he
- blamed, "I worship, I pray diligently.
- Why is it me who is taught? Meanwhile,
- people who don't pray, people who
- disbelieve, they say that, yes, they
- are maintained by work. Meanwhile, all
- actions are from Allah. Why? He said
- that. Well, this is it. Beware that
- Allah says wailun tumma wail woe. Yes.
- Then woe. Liman qala. People who say
- five wa kaifa. We can't do that. We
- can't do that. Why Allah membuat begini
- begini begini? Ya. Nah, itu itu tidak
- dibenarkan. Ini adalah merupakan
- ketetapan Allah Subhanahu wa taala. Nah
- , apapun ketetapan Allah Subhanahu wa
- taala kepada diri kita, maka kita harus
- menerima ketetapan itu ya. Harus
- menerima qada ya. Karena karena kita
- iman kepada qada dan qadar khairihi
- waarihi. itu adalah merupakan bagian
- dari rukun iman yang wajib kita imani.
- Yang wajib kita imani. Kalau kita kita
- mengimaninya ya berarti One pillar of
- faith is missing. If a person is
- missing one, it will invalidate that
- faith others yes. Be careful. So here
- it can be dangerous. also narrated ee
- waywa annallaha taala aila Daud alaihi
- salam. Allah Subhanahu wa taala gave
- revelations to Allah's Prophet David
- alaihialatu wasalam. Yes David said God
- . Hey he said Daud innaka turid wa urid
- . You want it, I want it too. Yes, you
- want it, I want it too. Then wa innama
- yakunu ma urid. What will happen must
- be my will, not yours. Yes, it is
- definitely God's will, not our will,
- that will happen. Fain salamta five
- urid kafaituka ma turid. If you hand
- over what you want, what you want, I
- hand it over to me, then I will fulfill
- you with what you wish. Meaning what do
- you want? What do you want? What is
- your desire from your will? I will give
- you that because you have surrendered
- your will, your desires to me. That is
- if we surrender it to God. But then
- Allah said," Waillam tusallim five urid
- at'abduka fima turid. "But if you don't
- want to leave it to me, to my will, yes
- . Yes, then I will make it difficult
- for you to make what you want come true
- . Trying to make it happen will not
- come true which in the end is tumma la
- yakunu illa ma urid. Then nothing will
- happen except what I will, yes what I
- will. What happens is also Allah's will
- . Humans have a plan. Allah is the one
- who makes that plan come true.
- Therefore, leave our affairs to Allah
- Subhanahu wa taala. Then accept what
- Allah decrees pada kita. Karena kita
- ini kan bisa jadi memandang sesuatu itu
- baik padahal itu buruk. Sebaliknya kita
- memandang ini adalah buruk padahal
- sebenarnya itu baik buat kita. Orang
- pengin punya anak yang jadi bayangan
- sebelum nikah saja anak tuh laki-laki.
- Begitu lahir perempuan mungkin kecewa
- ya. Lahir lagi. Yang kedua, perempuan
- lagi tambah besar lagi ya. Karena dia
- merasa kalau perempuan apa yang bisa
- diberikan nanti kepadanya membantu dan
- sebagainya ya. Nah, nah itulah
- pandangan kita. Padahal yang tahu
- manfaat di kemudian hari pada kita ya
- itu Allah Subhanahu wa taala. Andai
- kita all, if we surrender everything to
- Allah subhanahu wa taala, then what
- happens will be good for us. Oh, that's
- how it is. Ah, this is about the basics
- of hadith. Then we will see now what
- the makqalah or opinions of the ulama
- are. Friends of Ibn Abbas radhiallahu
- anh. He radhiallahu anhuma said that
- Awalu man yuda ilal jannati
- yaumalqiamah alladzina yahmadunallah
- taala ala kullial. The first people to
- be called to heaven on the Day of
- Judgment will be those who praise Allah
- Subhanahu wa Taala in all circumstances
- . Yes, if you are rich, praise Allah,
- if you are poor, praise Allah, if you
- are healthy you will praise Allah, then
- if you are sick you will also praise
- Allah. In all circumstances, those who
- praise Allah are happy and not happy.
- This is a sign of someone who is happy
- with Allah's decree. So the point is
- that the first people to be called to
- heaven are those who are happy. Those
- who are pleased with Allah are pleased
- to accept decrees from Allah Subhanahu
- wa Taala. Eh, Alfudil said," Al taswir
- ala ala Allah's destiny is the tasbir
- of the destiny of the nafsik. "If you
- are not patient with Allah's destiny,
- it means you are also not patient with
- his destiny. Well, Abdullah bin
- Mas'ud's friend, he said this:" If, he
- said, I were touched by a coal, if I
- were to lick a coal that could burn
- what was burned by the coal, that would
- be more to my liking than to say
- something that has happened to me. "Yes
- , if this had not happened, I would
- rather lick or be touched by a coal and
- get burned than to say if this had not
- happened, if it had not happened like
- this, if it had not happened like that.
- That shows that he does not accept it.
- If you do not go there. Hmm. It often
- happens like that, right? People say,"
- Sir, I want to go there. "The father
- said," No, son, okay? Not now, later,
- later, later, in between this child
- leaving something will happen. Then an
- accident happens. Well, that's why you
- should not go there. "This sentence is
- a sentence that Ibn Abbas's friend
- disliked. After something happened,
- Anas bin Malik radhiallahu anhu said,"
- I was a servant to the Prophet Muhammad
- for 8 years. The Prophet never said to
- me, 'Why did you do this if I did
- something?' Yes, if you didn't do it,
- why didn't you do this? No, he never
- said that. Even one day when he said, '
- I broke the glass. Now, the glass moves
- . There were no glasses back then. So I
- regret it very much. Then Aisyah's
- mother, may Allah be pleased with her,
- said, "Anas said that everything that
- happens is based on God's qada. It has
- been determined that today it must be
- like this. So don't regret it, it's
- already passed, it's regrettable, it
- won't come back again. The important
- thing is that in the future you have to
- be more careful. Imagine if someone had
- a boss like that, Siti Aisyah, O Allah.
- Ah, that's it, because they really
- understand what Maimun's pleasure is.
- Maimun bin Mahron said this. Night yard
- bilqada falaisa lihamkid, sir. Whoever
- is not happy to accept God's qada, then
- there is no cure for his stupidity.
- There is no medicine that can eliminate
- his stupidity. So that shows that
- according to him it is stupidity if we
- are not happy to accept God's qada. Ee
- then Umar, may Allah be pleased with
- him, said," Ma ala ayin asbahtuu
- miniddah ahah he said, I don't care, I
- don't care what condition I am in this
- morning or evening. are you having
- trouble, are you happy, are you healthy
- or not. Yes, I don't care about that
- problem. This means I will accept
- whatever happens to me. Well, and
- finally now Sufyan Assauri. Sufyan
- Assuri, one day he was next to Rabiah
- al-Adawiyah, a female Sufiah. Then he
- prayed like this, "Allahumard anni. O
- Allah, be pleased with me." I am
- pleased, he said, I ask that Allah be
- pleased with Imam Sufyan Asauri. Then
- this ee Rabiatul Adawiyah radhiallahu
- anhu said, "Aastahyi minallah antas al
- rid wa anta anhu girin." Aren't you
- embarrassed? Sufyan said, "Ask Allah's
- pleasure, while you yourself are not
- pleased with Allah." Hmmm. If we want
- Allah to be pleased with us, we must be
- pleased with Allah. Of course that's
- the case. Allah is pleased with us,
- whatever we do, Allah accepts. So we
- also have to accept what God has done
- to us. That's what it means. N yes said
- Siti Rabiatul Adawiyah. Faqala
- astagfirullah said Sufyan Assauri. Oh
- my God. He's sorry because this is an
- extraordinary sentence. Then Sheikh
- Jafar bin Sulaiman asked, "Fama
- yakunulr anillah taala? Then how do you
- say that a servant is pleased with
- Allah?" Yes, because that's what it was
- . You also have to be pleased with
- Allah if you want Allah to be pleased
- with you. So Sheikh Jafar bin Sulaiman
- asked, "How does a servant feel about
- Allah?" Rabiahul Adawiyah answered, "
- Idza kana sururuhu bil calamity
- mlaurihi binikmah." Yes, this is what a
- person who is pleased with Allah says
- when he is happy to receive Allah's
- pleasure, he is happy to receive
- pleasure from Allah, the same as he is
- happy when he receives a disaster from
- Allah. This is really heavy, isn't it?
- heavy and there are quite a few people
- who might blame it. When someone gets
- into a disaster, they say they are
- happy. Well, this is Siti Rabiatul
- Adawiyah who doesn't like it. Maybe
- it's because we don't understand,
- because we don't understand this
- problem. Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam once said, "Innallaha azza
- waalla bihikmatihi wa jalalihi ja'al
- ruh wal far rid wal yaqin." Indeed,
- Allah azza wa jalla with His wisdom and
- majesty makes the spirit and joy rauh,
- not the spirit rauh waral farah. So
- happy, happy, happy and confident. The
- other day we discussed what it means to
- be sure. Ah, so maybe there will be
- viewers or listeners of the results who
- will forget what it means to be sure
- like this. Belief is an assumption
- based on evidence and evidence. So, for
- example, in one of our houses, in our
- room we lose something and then we say
- it looks like he took it but there is
- absolutely no evidence. Maybe it's
- so-and-so, but there's a balance
- between accusing and not. Balanced
- means nus binus 50 50 like that. Ah,
- this is called doubt like this. It's
- called doubt like that. Now, if ee one
- of them is more than the other, yes. If
- you accuse but not based on evidence or
- favor one of two positive or negative
- values, for example 40 compared to 60
- or 45 compared to 55, but 55%of it is
- this, then that's called an assumption
- like that. It seems like the one who
- took so-and-so. Why? Ah, earlier the
- one here was only him, but there was no
- evidence. Well, that's called an
- assumption. Well, then if the third one
- suspects someone based on evidence,
- based on evidence, facts, like that. Ah
- , this is called this kind of certainty
- , yes. So then sometimes faith is
- interpreted as certain. Al imanu yakinu
- kulluh. Alyakin al iman kulluh. That
- belief is complete faith, yes. Hey,
- listeners of the gift of friendship and
- viewers of Rasil TV who are blessed by
- Allah. So the Prophet said that in
- waja'al gam. Well, while confused, sad,
- fisqi wasukti is in doubt and hatred.
- Yes. So, then what is rida? Yes, this
- is the essence of rida. Listeners of
- radio silaturahim need to know that
- people who say yes do not do anything
- that violates the desires of the
- desires except patience. This means
- that if we are, for example, hit by
- disaster, something that does not
- please our desires, then people say, "
- Be patient." Well, this is true.
- Everyone admits that if you are sick,
- you should be patient. If, for example,
- then we are hit by a disaster, you
- should be patient. Well, if someone
- says this sentence, everyone will
- assume, will see that person as having
- done not only good, but right. Because
- they encourage people to do the right
- thing, the good and right thing, namely
- to be patient. But if someone says
- something like this, "You have to
- accept all of this. Your car was stolen
- , you have to accept it, you have to be
- happy, you have to be happy." Well,
- maybe if it's like this, many people
- won't accept it. Many people won't
- accept it. This is how someone loses
- their car if they tell them to be happy
- ? People lose their motorbike if they
- tell them to be patient. Yes, if they
- tell them to be patient, yes. Well, if
- they tell them to be happy, maybe this
- person is considered wrong. Well,
- considered wrong. So why? Well, maybe
- the problem is because the person
- doesn't understand the meaning of
- pleasure and it's something that
- doesn't make sense to them, right? Hmm.
- uh, listeners, that pleasure, I said
- the other day, is the fruit of love,
- the fruit of love. People won't
- understand pleasure if they don't
- understand love unless they love Allah.
- So, pleasure with the actions of a
- lover is the fruit of love, the fruit
- of love. We can understand this from
- two sides. First, that pleasure can
- relieve pain. Rida can relieve pain.
- Well, an example. I'll give you an
- example first so it's easy to
- understand later. When people are at
- war, when they fight against the enemy,
- at that time I kill or be killed,
- injure or be injured. Wow, by saying
- takbir, we are moving forward, yes, the
- era of swords. Well, if he is injured,
- at that time his heart is immersed in
- that one thing in the battlefield,
- seeking what is it called? Seeking
- Allah's pleasure, upholding the
- sentence of Allah, his heart's soul is
- directed towards that. No, not towards
- anything else. Because the heart is
- focused there when his hand is injured.
- Yes, when his hand is injured, his body
- is injured, he does not feel the pain.
- Even when he is covered in blood, he
- has not felt, does not feel the pain.
- What is this called? Ee the pain
- disappears, huh. Why? Because at that
- time the heart is focused on one point.
- So the conclusion is that when the
- heart is immersed in one point, focused
- on that one point of the heart, all of
- our five senses are also involved there
- so that he does not feel ee other than
- that, huh. Ee so beautiful, maybe
- because he is so handsome. So handsome
- that the Prophet Joseph, the women in
- the time of the Prophet Joseph, sliced
- what was that apple. He saw that he
- didn't feel or even realize that his
- finger was on a wound he had cut
- himself and that he didn't feel any
- pain. Why? Because he was focused on
- the beauty of the Prophet Yusuf (peace
- be upon him). That was the beauty of
- Yusuf. The beauty of the Prophet Yusuf.
- What if what he saw was the beauty of
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. The
- greatness of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala,
- the beauty of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala
- , then there would be no more pain for
- him to feel. Well, this is the first
- one. So the first one, if the heart is
- already immersed, focused on something,
- then he won't feel anything else. Hey,
- this, what's the first, another example
- ? There was a woman, the wife of a
- cleric, named Fathul Mausili. He had a
- wife, apparently his wife was in the
- group, the wise people. He was walking
- and suddenly fell. As he fell, his
- toenail broke, his feet were covered in
- blood. But he didn't complain, it was
- okay. He even laughed, he smiled.
- Finally, someone asked, "What's the
- question? Don't you feel any pain?" He
- then answered like this. The pleasure,
- the deliciousness of Allah's reward
- given for the calamity that happened to
- me, my heart has caused my heart to not
- feel the pain. The pain was no longer
- felt when he looked not at the pain,
- but what he saw was the gift of Allah's
- grace. for this incident. Because every
- person who is hit by a calamity, Allah
- will give him an extraordinary reward.
- Every person who is hit by a calamity,
- yes, we are oppressed, we will get a
- reward. For example, we viewers at home
- have a tree, a rambutan tree, let's say
- it was stolen by someone.
- One, two, that means we have been
- oppressed by someone by stealing this,
- what is it called, our rambutan. Allah
- is the most just. What was stolen by
- that person was replaced by Allah
- subhanahu wa taala. Replaced by Allah,
- yes. The first day, the second day, yes
- . The third day, for example, the child
- caught stealing, yes. Wuber-uber. That
- will be in the notes later, there will
- be the first day the child who stole
- this, yes, you get a reward of this
- much, this is so much, the third day is
- empty. Why? because her child was being
- chased. At a time like that, we would
- say, if I had known this was the
- situation, I would have let people
- steal. If necessary, I would have
- ordered people to steal my things. Ah,
- that's how it would be. Well, if
- rambutans were stolen, our desires
- wouldn't accept it. Well, behind that
- is an extraordinary grace from Allah.
- This woman doesn't see her disaster.
- What she sees is the reward from Allah,
- which is certainly multiplied. The
- pleasure of seeing the reward and
- knowing, uh, the reward from Allah has
- removed the pain. One day, the Prophet
- of Allah, Isa (peace be upon him), sent
- two envoys to the land of Antioch. One
- was named Yahya, the other was named
- Yunus. Well, then because he was,
- what's called a junior, not yet trained
- in preaching, unlike his seniors who
- had nasam'un, so he only preached, yeah
- , when the king had an event, he
- preached in the wrong place. Well, in
- the end, he was arrested and imprisoned
- . Well, until finally he was dragged
- and what's called? Beaten while being
- dragged, beaten. Can you imagine being
- dragged is already painful, plus being
- beaten even more. Hmm. What kind of
- pain is that? Allah then defends those
- who fight for this truth. Then Allah
- shows them the place they will enter.
- Because when the spirit reaches the
- throat, Allah will show it, it's
- serious, yes, we will enter heaven or
- hell, then we will be shown heaven or
- hell. So, when people are like that,
- some stare in fear, some are like
- people who, because they are happy,
- smile when they die, so people say, "H,
- it's so good, they say death exists."
- Yes. Then it's so bad, they say death
- exists. This is because Allah shows
- them those places, right? Well, when
- they are shown heaven, its
- extraordinary pleasure, the pain
- automatically disappears. The pain of
- being dragged, the pain of being beaten
- is no longer felt by them. Yes, it's no
- longer felt. Well, why is that? Their
- hearts and all their senses are focused
- on the pleasure of seeing the beauty of
- heaven. That is heaven. What is the
- beauty of heaven? Well, this is it.
- That's how it is in Sufism circles, Mr.
- Hari. Subhanallah yes. So he then said,
- yes, his name is Habiburrahman, so he
- said, "Ya laita qui y'lamuna bima
- gofarbi wa ja'alani minal mukramin."
- Yes, he said, "Oh, try it." He said, "
- If my people knew what Allah has done
- for me by forgiving all my sins and
- making me an honorable person, a person
- who is honored by Allah by showing him
- that paradise is like that. It's just
- because they don't see it, right? Well,
- Habiburrahman himself was beaten
- without feeling the pain. Because right
- now he was looking at the blessings
- that Allah gave him. Well, that's pain.
- So it can disappear by itself when our
- hearts are immersed in something, then
- nothing else exists. Well, secondly,
- now he feels the pain, right, but he is
- happy to accept the pain.
- Happy.
- Ah, happy. It's not that it doesn't
- hurt, actually. It's not that it
- doesn't hurt. For example, Ee Fahri
- isn't married yet. Well, okay, okay.
- Well, if you're not married, if you
- have a girlfriend, Fahri, right? Ah,
- the woman you love so much, is alone
- with her lover, joking around, for
- example, then she pinches you. Well, a
- pinch that is called a pinch must hurt.
- It must hurt the one who asks about the
- pinch. But if the one who calls the one
- who If a lover pinches you, then you
- will like the pinch.
- Yes. So it's not because what you see
- is not the pinch. Who is pinching it?
- If the pinch that hard wasn't our lover
- , of course the value, ee, what would
- it be? Different results would be
- different. But because the person we
- really love is the one pinching, then
- the pinch becomes a form of intimacy.
- It doesn't mean the pinch is actually
- enjoyable, but he is, ee, he is happy,
- he likes the pinch. H one. Here's the
- second one. Another example. Another
- example, try to see, ma'am, who likes
- their head stepped on? No one. Who
- likes their body covered in oil? No one
- . Because it's something unpleasant.
- But look in August, for what reason are
- those hanging objects called during the
- pole climbing event, right, the big
- ones were stepped on by the kids. Was
- he angry? No, he enjoyed it. Oh, on and
- on, on and on, he enjoyed it, he
- enjoyed it. It doesn't mean being
- stepped on is good, No. Why? Because
- there was something he really wanted,
- something he really wanted. Yes, if
- you've come here, viewers, I remember
- that, around 12:00 AM,
- someone came to my house, he was a
- lumberjack. I know this person never
- prays. Meaning I've never seen him pray
- . Yes, the prayer room nearby never
- goes to the prayer room either. But I
- liked that he was friendly with me. He
- came to my house early in the morning.
- I said," Wow, what do you think his
- name is? "I said I thought it was a
- thief. I was about to go back with the
- case. That's what I said. Well, because
- I often joke around with him, I did
- that. Then I sat down and made him some
- tea. No, I said, this is unusual. Was I
- at home this early in the morning,
- aren't I working? The Ustaz said. He
- said there's no work today. That's
- great, bro, if I don't work, I said.
- Well, no, he said. So it's better to
- work, it's better to work. If I don't
- work, he said," Ustaz, his body feels
- all over the place, he said. "Well,
- that's it, why would I be so busy with
- all this nonsense, he said. So it's
- better to work, bro. Yeah. Is work
- tiring? Yeah, it's tiring too. He said
- working is tiring, but I'd rather work
- than not. That's because you're used to
- working like that. So it's
- uncomfortable if you don't work. It's
- different for me, bro. Because I don't
- work, I'm not used to it, but it's even
- better if I don't work, and I'm used to
- praying. Actually, bro, praying without
- praying is tiring. It's tiring to pray.
- But if I don't pray, I say, it's a
- waste. My mind and body don't feel good
- either. That's what he said? If that,
- Ustaz, I'm not ready yet. It's okay. I
- didn't tell you to pray. Yeah. Heeh.
- Ready. Yeah. Yeah. So, back here. Why
- did it get stepped on his head? Because
- there's something to look forward to.
- Why are we patient enough to pray, even
- waking up at night? Because there's
- something that we're affected by,
- there's Something we're looking for.
- That something, sir, that makes the
- cold become warm. What was once
- sluggish becomes enthusiastic. Who said
- that traffic jams in Jakarta are
- pleasant? Nothing. Everything aches. It
- wouldn't be Jakarta if there weren't
- traffic jams. But knowing that there
- are traffic jams every day, he still
- goes to the office. Why? Because
- there's something he's looking for,
- something he longs for, so he ends up
- enjoying it. This is our worship as
- servants of Allah. Allah promises this,
- promises that, and so on. For the sake
- of Allah's promise, we do this, do that
- , do this, do that, and that's fine.
- That's fine. But when it escalates
- again, oh, if that's the case, I'm
- doing this, expecting something from
- Allah. Even though Allah has given me
- everything. I want to do things so that
- Allah will be pleased with me. Now,
- this is extraordinary. Okay. Now,
- what's clear is that in understanding
- the meaning of pleasure, it's like that
- . That's what pleasure is like. It can
- be understood from two meanings. So, if
- someone says that if a disaster strikes
- , you should be happy, it's not wrong,
- right? Listeners of Silaturahim Radio
- and viewers of Rasil TV Understand.
- Everything that happens to us is God's
- will. We do good, God is the one who
- moves us. We do evil, God is also the
- one who moves us. La haula wala quwwata
- illa billah. There is no power in us.
- We have no power to do good. We have no
- power to avoid sinful acts illa billah.
- Except through the actions of God. So
- what happens to us is from God. But now
- , don't misunderstand, okay? God did
- not create so-and-so for hell, and
- so-and-so for heaven. It's not like
- that. Then how do the kiai explain that
- what happens to us has already been
- predetermined, already recorded in L
- mahfud. All our journeys are in
- accordance with what is written in Uhud
- . That's true. But what might be wrong
- is our understanding. Now, look, ladies
- and gentlemen, understand that there
- are three creatures. I made three,
- actually four if we add them up. One is
- a creature that is only given by God
- reason, not given by God desire. This
- reason is the nature of reason to do
- positive deeds. That's why in the Quran
- , Allah often commands us to obey
- common sense. If someone follows their
- common sense, they can't possibly
- commit evil deeds. It's impossible. Are
- you not rational? Are you not rational?
- Are you not rational? Allah also
- clearly reminds us to use our reason
- properly. Well, this is given to angels
- . That's why none of the angels disobey
- . They never disobey Allah. Yes, they
- always do what Allah commands. So, they
- never do wrong. Well, if someone like
- this now, will they be accounted for in
- the afterlife? No. Why not? Accounting
- is to determine the number of good
- deeds or bad deeds. Accounting is like
- that. Well, benefit mawazinuhin rah.
- The more good deeds, the more paradise.
- Mawinu faumuhu hawiah, whose scale of
- bad deeds is small, means that their
- bad deeds are many, then Hell is theirs
- . That's the reckoning, that's the
- scale. Well, these angels never do evil
- , what's there to be reckoned with?
- It's obviously good. So what about
- animals? Yes, animals are given desires
- , not given reason. Well, desires don't
- know good, don't know bad, don't know
- right, don't know wrong. So then,
- because they don't know this, don't
- know that, they won't be reckoned
- because they don't know, they never do
- good, they never do evil for them. Even
- if it's called a goat, it can't
- differentiate between grass and its
- master's name or not. Yes, goats can't
- differentiate between this month and
- Ramadan, they don't know. They're just
- goats. They don't have reason. Yes, so
- animals won't be reckoned with because
- they never do good. Ah, so it's humans
- who are reckoned with. Why? Because
- they have reason, they have desires.
- Because of their reason, they do good,
- because of their desires, they do evil.
- Well, with their reason, humans can
- choose to do good, choose to do bad
- deeds. The choice of humans when, for
- example, Fahri, ah I want to hit him
- Andri, right? Ah, those are choices.
- Then God moves them until they happen.
- So the blow comes from God, not from us
- . We are incapable, not strong. We can
- only choose. Now, what is being judged
- is our choice, not the blow. The
- severity of the blow depends on how
- much the choice was felt. Now, this is
- being pleased with God's decree, we
- shouldn't be angry with God's decree.
- We have to accept it. We have to accept
- it. Hm. Pain, for example, we have to
- accept it. What causes the pain? We
- choose it. We choose it. Now, that's
- what we should be angry about, we don't
- like it. But with God's decree, we have
- to be pleased. This is what is meant by
- being pleased with the decree. If you
- don't understand, I'll give an example
- to make it easier to understand. Pari,
- if you have an enemy, then someone who
- hurts your family, is annoying, dies.
- Aren't you happy? Happy. That's how it
- is when we have an enemy, if our enemy
- dies, we're happy. Now, I also have an
- enemy, Fahri also has an enemy. If eh,
- it turns out the enemy is Fari. Enemy
- Fahri and my enemy are the same. When
- he died, was Fahri happy because he was
- my enemy or because he was Fahri's
- enemy?
- Well, that's the same for me. So I was
- happy that this enemy died not because
- he was Fari's enemy, no. But because he
- was my enemy. If he weren't my enemy, I
- certainly wouldn't have been happy with
- his death. See. So, this is what
- happens to us. We choose, Allah moves.
- We shouldn't be angry with Allah's
- actions. We should be angry with our
- choices, his choices. From this, we can
- understand, right? Well, this is what
- is meant by pleasure, we must hate sin,
- not hate Allah's actions. Good and bad
- are all from Allah. We must accept that
- . But this sinful act is what I must
- hate, because it is from me, from my
- choice. That's how to understand what
- pleasure is, right, uh, and will this
- pleasure, uh, conflict with qada, with
- prayer? Yes, of course, if we
- understand it, then, uh, it won't
- conflict. That's why the Prophet prayed
- , eh, like that. The Prophet then made
- an effort. Thus, the congregation of
- Allah's womb. God willing, we will
- continue later, whether it contradicts
- what is called? Does prayer destroy
- what is called pleasure or not? Yes, we
- ask for pleasure to accept the decree
- from Allah. Then we pray, does prayer
- destroy ee, what is called? Does it
- destroy pleasure and deeds of pleasure
- or not? Well, we will discuss this
- later, hopefully, Allah subhanahu wa
- ta'ala gives us the correct
- understanding. God knows best. So, we
- have studied the study of faith and
- morals with Ustaz Ahmad Zuzuli Kholil.
- We discussed the nature of pleasure.
- It's been a long, detailed explanation
- by Ustaz Ahmad Zuri Khol regarding this
- pleasure. And let's go straight to your
- questions, Ustaz, because many have
- come in. This is Ustaz's first SMS, it
- came from Mr. Samsul in Sukabumi.
- Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh Ustaz.
- Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- There is a hadith that says," Human
- pleasure is something that you cannot
- possibly achieve. Then if it is related
- to Allah's pleasure, it depends on the
- parents' pleasure. "How, Ustaz? That
- person is also human. H.
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Rida Allah is
- ridallah fi ridol walidain. Washtullah
- fi suhtil walidain. Allah will be
- pleased with a person if his mother and
- father are also pleased. Well, ee if
- his mother and father are not pleased e
- if his mother and father are angry,
- hate, Allah will also hate. Why does it
- seem like Allah is following what is
- called
- ee mother and father.
- Ee not following what is meant. In fact
- , if this person if his mother and
- father hate a child, then Allah is not
- pleased with him. Because Allah will
- not be pleased with someone who does
- not carry out the rules of Allah
- Subhanahu wa taala's provisions.
- Because Allah says," I have made a
- decree, I also "says Allah has made
- rules. So whoever is pleased with my
- decree or rules, then I am pleased with
- him. He meets me in a state of pleasure
- . But if he hates my rules, then My
- decrees and my laws, then he will meet
- me in a state of disapproval. I also
- don't like meeting him. So, why did
- this person get hate from Allah e from
- his parents? Because he was disobedient
- to his parents. Well, if someone is
- disobedient to his parents, it means he
- doesn't follow the rules and
- regulations of Allah.
- Yes, Allah commands a child to be like
- this, to his parents to be like this so
- that his parents are happy. Suddenly,
- his parents become angry. That's
- because of the child's improper deeds.
- Then Allah will not be pleased. Yes. So
- , what then, if the child is already
- walking well,
- properly following the rules of
- religion, how will he behave towards
- his parents. For example, like a person
- who converts to Islam, his parents are
- angry with the child for converting to
- Islam. So, that's why they are not
- pleased. Does Allah then become
- displeased? Yes, no. Not like that. Not
- like that. Then if there is a hadith
- that says what is pleasure? Impossible,
- right? Impossible. I don't know
- where. Yes. Ee it's not something
- impossible it's very possible. I think
- by making an example it can be
- understood, it can be understood. How
- does a person get pinched by a lover or
- pinched by a lover then he gets angry
- right. No. He's willing, he's happy,
- he's happy to accept the pinch. It's
- not pain that he feels there's a
- package. It's pleasure. Well, one more
- thing, I'll make an example so that ee
- it's not said to be impossible. I once
- asked a member of my congregation ee
- because he asked me," Ustadz, is it
- true that there are people who do good
- deeds hoping for pleasure? "" Yes, "I
- said yes. Frankly," Ustadz, my mind
- can't accept it until now. "I asked
- then asked," Where do you work? "And so
- on I asked until finally I said this,"
- Sir, you go to work after the morning
- prayer, sometimes you come home at 0:00
- , sometimes you arrive home at 09:00,
- like that, at 0:00. What are you
- looking for, Sir? "He answered," Yes,
- look for money, Mr. Ustaz. "For what?
- To support my wife and children. Okay,
- I said. Then what do you hope for your
- child? I hope that my child will be
- successful in this world and the
- hereafter, said the ustaz. Worldly
- success probably means a rich life,
- right? Okay. Now, if your wish comes
- true, your child will be successful in
- this world and have everything, what do
- you hope for your child? Yes, expect
- what he said from my child. Do I expect
- anything? Maybe when you are old, if
- your child is successful, we will not
- be able to earn money anymore and will
- want to live on your child. By Allah,
- Ustaz, there is not a single word of
- that in my mind. I only hope that my
- child will be happy, as long as my
- child is successful, this world and the
- hereafter is over. I don't have a
- single word of that when I am old, I
- want to live on my child. That's what I
- said, practicing rida.
- You work hard, going from morning to
- night, supporting your child, sending
- him to school until he is successful,
- and you don't expect anything. What you
- hope for is your child to be happy.
- Your child is rida, that's what you
- call rida. This It's possible. Why is
- it called impossible?
- That's right. So if you can do good
- deeds for the sake of your child, why
- not for Allah? What did he say? Yes,
- Allahu Akbar. He said," Ustaz, I just
- understand now. "" Now you understand.
- So there are good deeds because of
- pleasure. Hmm. This becomes pleasure is
- not impossible, right? Pleasure is very
- , very possible. Including doing good
- deeds to Allah subhanahu wa taala,
- hoping for Allah's pleasure is very
- possible. God knows best.
- Okay, hopefully Mr. Samsul in Sukabumi
- answered. Back to the next SMS. It came
- from a servant of Allah, Mr. Ustaz in
- Jakarta. Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- Mr. Ustaz, is it considered pleasure
- when a servant is able to accept
- differences and is also able to leave
- debates and disputes?
- Yes. Is a person already content if he
- can accept differences, leave debates?
- Yes, he is content with differences and
- is content with not arguing. But that
- doesn't mean he is a believer who is
- content. Yes. Ah, in that case. Yes.
- Now, if for example this person gets
- sick, is he happy to receive such a
- gift from Allah? What was like before
- then becomes For example, being poor,
- bankrupt, becoming poor, does she
- accept that poverty or not? Yes, if she
- accepts it, she is considered a person
- who is content. Oh, but she doesn't
- accept poverty. Her life becomes a
- headache. Ah, not yet considered a
- person who is content. So, content is,
- Sir, Ma'am, a person who is content
- with the decree of Allah. Whatever is
- given to her that pleases her, she
- accepts it happily. If she is given
- something unpleasant, she also accepts
- it. She doesn't complain. So, if you
- are given wealth, you accept it. If you
- are given poverty, you become very poor
- . You are also happy to accept that
- gift. That is what you call a mother
- who is content. Content with the decree
- of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. When she
- is rich, she is happy, kind to people,
- but when she falls into poverty, she
- complains and isolates herself, her
- attitude changes drastically. She is
- embarrassed to meet people. Well, this
- is not yet considered a person who is
- content. And Allah knows best. Yes. So,
- Mr. Pauji is in Semarang. Peace be upon
- you. Ustaz is tested. Peace be
- upon you. warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
- tested in ease and tested in hardship.
- Which is more fortunate between the two
- ?
- Are they equal, Ustaz, in the eyes of
- Allah?
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. The Prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam explained,
- many people pass the test with poverty,
- hardship, and rarely pass the test with
- wealth, pleasure. This means that the
- test of wealth is harder than the test
- of poverty. Because if tested with
- poverty, many people pass. Tested with
- wealth, not ready to be rich. Not
- passing gives rise to a sense of
- arrogance, looking down on others.
- That's what it means to not pass the
- test with wealth. Well, that's why the
- Prophet chose the first one so that it
- can be emulated. Well, everyone. So, in
- conclusion, the test of poverty is
- easier than the test of what is called
- wealth. Yes, that's why I'm amazed that
- there are rich people, O Allah, who are
- still humble even though they are rich.
- But even though rich people sometimes
- gather in posancip with people of
- ordinary class, lower class. Then in
- the village, there are often tahlilan
- gatherings with people That's what
- tahlilan is like. It doesn't mean that
- if you don't gather with people,
- tahlilan is arrogant, right? In the
- village, people usually do tahlilan,
- right? People whose caps are all messed
- up. Then what do they eat? Eat sweet
- potatoes. Oh my God, boiled sweet
- potatoes. They eat together. Sometimes
- people share a tray even though they're
- rich. Oh my God, I'm amazed. It's
- extraordinary that someone is rich but
- like that. He's
- not just for image, right?
- Huh? Well, not for image, right?
- Because he doesn't have any intentions.
- It's different if, for example, he runs
- for governor, what is he running for?
- Well, that might have certain goals,
- that image. This is extraordinary. So,
- the test of poverty is easier than that
- of wealth, right? Well, generally,
- people are asked, "Do you want to be
- tested with something easy or something
- hard?""Everyone must be happy, their
- joy is tested lightly. The lightest.
- But if it's this turn, come on, whether
- poor or rich, they must choose richness
- , it must be that. Well, why is that
- lust and desire?
- Lust and desire. Differentiate it with
- the Prophet. The Prophet was offered,"
- If you want Muhammad, "said the angel
- Jil," Mount Uhud will be made em. Make
- emung will be given to the Prophet
- Muhammad as long as you like. "Then the
- Prophet accepted," No. "I
- don't accept that. Even the Prophet
- Muhammad asked for one day to eat, one
- day not to.
- When I eat I am grateful to Allah. When
- I am hungry I meditate on Allah. So
- whether I have or not is always good.
- That's how the Prophet Muhammad is here
- . If we offer it like that, we
- don't think twice, right? Heeh. In fact
- , quite a few kiai (Islamic scholars)
- are making fools of people who choose
- to live in poverty, blaming them. Why?
- Because the kiai themselves are now
- living in a worldly life. Including me.
- Including me, right? Including me. Now,
- I'm saying this, I'm not teaching the
- audience or listeners. No. I'm just
- reciting the Koran myself. Well, being
- heard by others is beneficial, thank
- God. K. At least I'm reciting the Koran
- for myself so that I don't blame people
- who choose this. That's how we can
- respect each other, honor each other,
- and then use our reasoning well. God
- knows best.
- Yes.
- Yes. Back to the next SMS from the
- servant of Allah, Mr. Ustaz at
- 08565951. That's all. That's all.
- Asalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh. May
- the peace, mercy, and blessings of
- Allah be with you too. Mr Ustaz, what
- if we miss something? For example,
- missing a motorbike. Then we report it
- to the police, do we get any reward
- from the loss of the motorbike? And are
- we among those who are not happy with
- God's destiny?
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Eh Rasulullah
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam said this,"
- Yaul fuq fuqar aullahaid min qulubikum.
- "O poor people, give Allah the pleasure
- of your hearts. Yes, be pleased with
- the decree of Allah. Then you will
- succeed in getting the reward for your
- poverty. Now, give him pleasure. The
- loss of your so-called motorbike, Allah
- will give you a reward for the loss of
- your so-called motorbike. If not,
- wailla fala. If you are not pleased
- then there is no reward.
- So maybe you will get a reward, maybe
- you won't. Yes, like that. It depends
- on whether we accept Allah's actions or
- not. Remember, we are upset with our
- negligence, that is a good deed. This
- is my fault. This is my fault. This is
- why the key was not removed, for
- example, it was not removed but just
- hung up. Well, the result then happened
- was driven by Allah, yes, the action
- with Allah's action should not be angry
- but you should be angry with your own
- negligence and do not blame others. Now
- , once it is lost, then don't make a
- fuss like that. Thinking about it, let
- alone asking smart people. Even though
- I said that they are not smart people,
- they are stupid people. Because fool
- people, lying. I have a congregation,
- how many times my motorbike has been
- lost during dawn lectures, dawn
- lectures, wasilah dawn prayers in
- Jakarta, there are many, ee now dawn
- prayers congregation like that. The
- motorbike is lost. Well, if it's lost,
- he goes home. Well, then at home he
- also said the motorbike is lost. Well,
- if it's lost, what can he do, he said,
- his name is also lost, what can he do?
- Not a week later, Allah replaces it,
- not long after, Allah replaces it again
- because he, what is it called,
- surrenders it, that's it. So, if, for
- example, we lose a motorbike, for
- example, and then report it to the
- police. When reporting it, oh, this is
- the rule in our country. We report it
- to the police because we follow the
- rules in our country. It doesn't damage
- what it's called, ee ee, it doesn't
- damage ee pleasure. No, it doesn't
- damage. Well, but if we are not happy
- with the loss of the motorbike, well,
- that damages our ee pleasure. At least
- we are not included in the group of
- people who are satisfied with Allah's
- qada. Just like that. Don't be like
- this, if we No, not including those who
- are content and then we blame people
- who are able to get treatment like that
- . Don't go that way of thinking. God
- knows best. One more thing.
- Yes. From Mr. Daman Huri in Batam,
- Ustaz. Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- Ustaz, what are the tips for us to be
- patient until our goals are achieved,
- Ustaz? What are the tips for us to be
- patient until our goals are achieved?
- Yes. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Mr.
- Damanhuri in Batam, yes. This is
- perhaps what you mean is the third type
- of patience. H
- hm. Because maybe, no, it's true that
- quite a few of us talk a lot about
- patience but we don't understand
- patience.
- H.
- Well, people who pray are patient,
- people who fast are patient, people who
- do pilgrimage are patient, people who
- give alms are patient, people who then
- recite the Qur'an are actually patient.
- People who go to war are called patient
- people. Well, people Those who give
- alms are called patient people. Well,
- maybe why are people who give alms
- patient, people who are at war so
- patient? What is patience? So, it's
- like this, sir. When we see a child,
- patience is only related to humans, not
- to angels, not to animals.
- I've discussed this before. Are there
- any animals that are patient? No. Are
- there any angels that are patient? No.
- Because no one is patient, no angel is
- impatient either. Patience is not
- related to angels, not to animals. Why?
- Well, this is, uh, patience is only
- related to humans. Because the tool for
- doing good is reason, and the tool for
- sin is lust. Only humans, right?
- Animals only have lust, angels only
- have reason, so patience is not related
- to them. Ah, when humans are born, what
- grows inside us is, namely, lust. Lust
- for food, babies are only born already
- wanting, yes, this is piercing, lust
- for food that grows, their minds are
- not yet functioning. Well, it continues
- to develop a year, two years, starting
- later lust, ee, lust for playing, the
- mind is not functioning yet, yes. At
- the age of 3, 4, 5 years old, the mind
- is not functioning properly, therefore,
- there is no patience for children, why?
- What? Because their mind is not there
- yet, it is not functioning properly. So
- it's the same as animals. A 4-year-old
- child is grazing and asking for food,
- Mom. Ask for food, wait a minute, son.
- Crying and being scolded, patience is
- like a child. This is the mother who
- doesn't understand. How can a 4-
- year-old understand? Be patient.
- Because their mind is not functioning
- properly yet. Yes, from this lust, it
- will later rise to lust for adultery,
- namely the desire to decorate oneself
- like that. Starting to wear this dress,
- liking to wear this necklace, not yet
- functioning properly. Well, that's it.
- That's why this child is not
- accountable, when he is under 15 years
- old, he dies in heaven without being
- accountable again. Because his mind is
- not functioning properly yet. Only then
- will the lust for marriage. Well,
- approaching adulthood is assigned by
- Allah by Angels. One angel tells him,
- shows him what is good, what is bad,
- what is right, what is wrong, and so on
- . Eventually, he begins to understand
- what is good, what is bad, what is
- right, what is wrong. Then the second
- angel, the angel assigned to give
- strength, the ability to carry it out,
- so on. So then he is able to do good,
- do bad. Yes. Well, patience is a
- person's continuous quality in
- following religious encouragement.
- Religion says this, continuously
- following religious commands. Not
- holding back desires is patience.
- That's how it is. So if someone prays,
- they are called patient. If someone
- gives alms because religion commands
- them, they are patient. If someone
- doesn't pay zakat, if they don't pay
- zakat, they are impatient.
- So now, sir, what are the tips for
- patience to achieve success? Well, this
- is probably what is meant by patience
- in facing trials, right? So, patience,
- sir, will be divided into three. There
- is patience in carrying out commands,
- patience in avoiding prohibitions,
- patience in facing trials. These are
- all religious commands. So when we
- follow the encouragement or, uh,
- guidance of religion, that is what is
- meant by patience and we are
- continuously holding back the turmoil
- or urges of our lusts. That is what is
- called patience. So patience has many
- names. It can be generous, it can be
- brave, it can also be what it's called,
- ee what it's called, e honest. Well,
- that's also the same as patience. So,
- what are the tips? Well, the tips are
- by increasing what is called our
- knowledge of religion. Then we just
- have to put the knowledge that we
- already know into practice. Man amila
- bima alim warahullah ilmam. Whoever
- practices the knowledge he already
- knows, Allah will inherit knowledge
- that he has never known before. Yes,
- may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala always
- guide our hearts to the path that is
- pleasing and loved by Him. Allah
- bestows mercy, success, and guidance on
- us, our children and grandchildren so
- that we can be istih in carrying out
- His commands and prohibitions.
