This. 3:13 Yes. 3:14 Many people think that fasting makes us 3:19 weak and can make us sick. 3:23 It's the other way around, right? 3:24 Exactly, Ustaz. Yes, 3:25 it's the opposite. 3:26 Actually, in this holy month of Ramadan 3:27 , we are increasingly enthusiastic, of 3:29 course, in our worship as well, Ustaz. 3:31 And we feel different in our bodies, 3:33 don't we, Ustaz? Subhanallah. 3:34 Mashallah. This 3:35 Subhanallah. 3:36 Glorified be Allah, this is truly 3:38 extraordinary for His mercy and His 3:39 grace as well. And of course, Ustaz, 3:42 this morning you will still be 3:44 discussing the study of the book of 3:46 Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Ustaz. Alright, 4:29 let's open this morning's lecture by 4:31 reciting the prayer for seeking 4:32 knowledge. In the name of Allah, the 4:33 Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O my 4:34 Lord, increase me in knowledge. O Allah 4:36 , benefit me with what You have taught 4:38 me, teach me what will benefit me, and 4:39 provide me with knowledge that benefits 4:41 me. Amen. Please. 4:44 May Allah reward you with goodness. In 4:45 the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, 4:46 the Most Merciful. My brothers in faith 4:49 whom Allah honors, listeners of the 4:51 radio and viewers of television who are 4:53 blessed by Allah Subhanahu wa Taala. 4:57 Spread far and wide, Anis, in Batam, in 5:00 Wonosobo, yes, there is. 5:02 Yes. Bondowoso. 5:03 Bondowoso all the way to Pontianak, yes 5:06 . 5:07 Batam. 5:07 Batam. Then Sukabumi, yes. And Semarang 5:10 is still there. 5:11 Semarang is already... 5:12 Yes. Hopefully Rasi can continue to 5:16 expand 5:16 its wings of da'wah. Insha Allah. 5:18 Amen. 5:19 The Ustaz says, peace be upon you, and 5:21 Allah's mercy and blessings. Praise be 5:24 to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Peace and 5:27 blessings be upon the noblest of 5:28 prophets and messengers, our Prophet 5:31 Muhammad, and upon all his family and 5:33 companions. To proceed. Glory be to You 5:36 , we have no knowledge except what You 5:37 have taught us; You are the All-Knowing 5:39 , the All-Wise. And You are the Most 5:42 Merciful. O Allah, we ask You for 5:46 beneficial knowledge and acceptable 5:48 deeds. O Allah, I seek refuge in You 5:52 from knowledge that does not benefit, 5:54 from a heart that does not fear, from a 5:56 soul that is not satisfied, and from a 5:58 prayer that is not answered. O Allah, I 6:01 ask You for guidance, piety, and purity 6:03 . And for us...Brothers in faith who 6:07 are all hoping for the pleasure and 6:09 mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Taala. For 6:14 this topic, we are trying to...what is 6:17 it? For example, we are talking about 6:24 demographic developments, yes, 6:26 demographics are matters of population. 6:31 And also...we are trying to break down 6:37 again a condition that today, it seems 6:41 not many people observe, regarding... 6:46 the existence of Allah's creatures, 6:49 specifically humans, with their 6:52 behavior. Anis. 6:53 Yes. 6:55 It is feared that when this is ignored 6:58 by, let's say, the stakeholders who are 7:04 involved in the field of religion, it 7:07 will have an impact on damages that we 7:11 will not be able to avoid. It could 7:17 even become like a snowball effect. 7:21 Anis. Human behavior today, brothers, 7:27 is exactly as the Prophet described in 7:31 a hadith, that from time to time this 7:34 disease is becoming, subhanallahiladzim 7:38 , chronic. Yes. 7:41 Entering, perhaps, a stage. What is the 7:43 most severe stage called? 7:45 Stage three. The final stage. 7:46 Yes. It seems like the final stage. If 7:49 not yet the end, maybe it's pre-final. 7:51 Yes. 7:52 That is the disease of Al-Wahan. The 7:56 disease of Al-Wahan itself means, its 7:59 definition is love for the world and 8:03 hatred for death. Humans love the world 8:08 too much, putting worldly matters above 8:12 the hereafter, right? And when the 8:16 world is attained, even by various 8:19 means, they lose themselves and fear 8:22 death. They lose themselves until they 8:24 fear... 8:25 fear death. Fear... 8:28 upholding the religion of Islam so they 8:30 die, you know. So their wealth is left 8:33 behind. Even though if we think clearly 8:35 , that wealth is not actually ours. 8:39 Wealth, property, houses, vehicles, 8:42 land—none of it is ours. 8:45 But it belongs to Allah Subhanahu wa 8:47 Taala who created it, right? So today, 8:51 the disease of Al-Wahan is rampant, 8:54 Anis. If we look at the scope of our 8:59 country, this disease is currently 9:02 afflicting many officials, you know. 9:06 Al-Wahan. 9:07 This Al-Wahan disease affects many of 9:10 these officials. When we talk about 9:13 officials, there are government 9:14 officials and private sector officials, 9:16 right, Anis? 9:16 Yes. 9:17 What's important is that, generally 9:19 speaking, this disease has been 9:20 contracted. Contracted meaning it is 9:23 currently being felt and experienced by 9:26 the officials the Ustaz mentioned 9:29 earlier. Now, the purpose of this 9:33 morning's advice from the Ustadz, the 9:36 Kyai, and the Ajengan is what? It is 9:39 for these officials to be aware of the 9:41 existence of this very dangerous 9:43 disease, child. Anis, you see. 9:46 Because this Al-Wahan disease is a very 9:48 dangerous sickness. If this disease is 9:53 compared to bird flu, 9:57 corona, and lastly bird flu, anthrax, 10:00 and there used to be swine flu, right? 10:03 Swine. 10:03 Yes. 10:04 Right? 10:04 Flu. 10:05 Flu. 10:06 Swine, swine. Yes, B2, yes, that's 10:09 right, the swine flu, then there is the 10:13 current COVID-19. 10:18 Honestly, brothers, by religious 10:21 standards, and even by the standards of 10:25 doctors, analysts, and even 10:28 nutritionists who have commented on 10:31 this disease, 10:35 if you compare Al-Wahan disease with 10:37 the diseases that have emerged up to 10:40 the most famous one, which is COVID-19. 10:44 It’s nothing compared to it. Al-Wahan 10:46 is more devastating than the diseases 10:48 mentioned here. 10:49 Like that. 10:50 Exactly. Al-Wahan dominates in its 10:54 destruction and severity compared to 10:57 the variants of diseases that the 11:01 Ustadzah mentioned. Because by its very 11:06 meaning, the meaning of Al-Wahan is " 11:09 hubbud dunya wa karahiyatul maut." 11:15 Loving the world too much, so when they 11:17 have attained the world, they fear 11:19 death. People who contracted COVID, 11:24 when I visited my friends who were sick 11:26 , they didn't have a fear of death. 11:30 What is clear is that they surrendered 11:33 to Allah; with that COVID disease, none 11:35 of them were afraid of dying. Even 11:38 though some of my friends among the 11:40 Kyai became victims, right? When 11:44 anthrax appeared back then, or bird flu 11:47 , swine flu, and so on, my neighbors 11:50 were affected too. When asked about the 11:54 destruction of the farms in Keranggan. 11:56 Oh, during the bird flu, it wiped out 11:57 everything in front of my house. Oh, 12:00 tens of thousands of chickens, when I 12:02 approached the owner. Why, Sir? I don't 12:06 know, this disease suddenly came like 12:08 this. Uh-huh. So when asked, they 12:10 instead examined their lives, examined 12:13 their deeds. Understand? Examining, " 12:16 Could this incident be because of my 12:17 own mistakes?" That's how it is. But 12:20 people with Al-Wahan disease never 12:22 admit, "This is my fault." 12:25 Instead, they just blame each other. 12:28 Like that. That is why this Al-Wahan 12:32 disease is very dangerous. So, this 12:35 Al-Wahan, brothers, as I said, 12:38 according to existing analyses and 12:40 after being analyzed by several of our 12:43 experts, it turns out that this cannot 12:46 be denied. And then, suddenly this 12:51 advice reaches the officials, not 12:53 because the Ustadz hates them, right? 12:56 Rather, what is this exactly? is an 12:59 offer for change, right, Anis. 13:03 So, this disease is already suffered by 13:05 many officials, high-ranking ones, even 13:07 from the highest down to the lowest, 13:10 you know. Why can you, Ustaz, say that 13:13 this disease is already suffered by 13:15 many of them? Because within their 13:17 circles is where the economic 13:19 circulation happens, where the results 13:21 of that economic cycle are partly halal 13:23 and partly haram. Some are forced to be 13:26 owned even though they don't belong to 13:28 them, right. Anis. There are also those 13:32 whose way of ownership is, uh, 13:35 indiscriminate, you know. Until the 13:40 value achieved, the value achieved, 13:42 Anis, if converted to rupiah, it seems 13:44 there's no limit to that money. 13:48 That is something even now not only we, 13:51 the Ustaz, are discussing. Even the 13:54 minister, uh, what do you call it? The 13:57 Constitutional Court Chief himself, Mr. 14:00 Mahfud MD, yes, has said that from just 14:03 one ministry, mining for example, if 14:06 managed with honesty, after the 14:10 exploration of natural wealth from this 14:12 mining, then, what is the term, fought 14:15 for with honesty, an Indonesian baby, 14:17 Anis, would still get 20 million per 14:19 month. 14:22 Their parents could just sit back and 14:24 relax at home and still get 20 million 14:25 a month without having to work, you 14:27 know. That’s just from one ministry 14:31 unit. In Indonesia, how many ministries 14:32 are there, try to count? Right? There 14:35 is maritime, there is agriculture, 14:37 right, Anis, right? There is industry, 14:42 yes, and various others, there is trade 14:45 . Now, if this were managed with 14:48 honesty, Subhanallah, we are a very 14:50 rich country. Just now, from only one 14:53 unit, mining, that's according to Mr. 14:55 Mahfud MD, he is an official. 14:58 He said 20 million per baby, if that is 15:01 multiplied by the number of ministries, 15:05 oh, our babies would receive 15:08 extraordinary, what do you call it, 15:11 extraordinary state facilities. Now, 15:15 this morning, brothers, the verse we 15:20 will study is a verse concerning human 15:22 madness towards the world, you know. If 15:27 we ask, "What is it that makes them so 15:30 crazy about the world?" Right? Even 15:33 though the world will end, will be left 15:36 behind. Even though we who live and 15:39 possess the world in any form will die, 15:41 right. And advice to humans about death 15:46 , advice to the servants of Allah. 15:50 Let’s say the Ummah of Muhammad, 15:52 regarding the fact that this world is 15:55 fleeting, there has been a mountain of 15:57 advice, right. But why is it that the 16:00 more advice there is, the more human 16:02 madness towards material things emerges 16:04 ? This is what we must actually examine 16:07 . Hopefully, you know, the verse 16:12 conveyed can knock on our hearts, knock 16:14 on the hearts of the perpetrators of 16:16 crimes, right. Whether on a national 16:20 scale, or that national scale is 16:21 divided into two, right? There is 16:23 government, there is private sector, 16:25 right? Knocking on their hearts so they 16:28 return to consciousness, so they return 16:31 to thinking about themselves. Who am I, 16:34 when compared to this vast universe, 16:37 you know. What will be my fate? No 16:42 matter how many trillions someone has, 16:46 if they die tomorrow, they’ll cry. If 16:51 reflected upon, this verse, God willing 16:55 , can make people think. Therefore, I 17:00 hope this expectation returns to all 17:04 the listeners, to become what? To 17:09 become a life guide for us, right, to 17:12 share advice with one another. Make 17:15 this issue what? A weapon, if possible, 17:20 an ultimate weapon, Anis, for those who 17:23 are obsessed with the world. Oh God, 17:27 even though they own homes, some worth 17:30 over a trillion each. Oh God, they own 17:35 cars of various brands to decorate 17:37 their homes, right. Not to mention 17:40 their motorcycles, right. Not to 17:42 mention their regular bicycles. Oh, the 17:45 ones like old-fashioned bikes that cost 17:46 billions, right. 17:49 Not to mention the vast lands they own, 17:51 plantations, and livestock. Gosh, if 17:54 you look at the madness of people today 17:56 , it's immeasurable, Anis. Immeasurable 17:59 . What is it that humans are actually 18:01 chasing after? Exactly. If they could, 18:04 they’d probably buy the sky. Yes. Now 18:09 they are competing to buy islands in 18:11 the middle of the ocean. Oh God. Even 18:15 some islands are sold for personal 18:16 interests. These are issues related to 18:19 madness. Well, this kind of madness, no 18:24 one can stop it except themselves. 18:28 Except for themselves. Because Allah 18:32 says, "Indeed, Allah will not change 18:34 the condition of a people until they 18:35 change what is in themselves." Allah 18:40 will not change the condition of a 18:42 group or mankind, even the population, 18:45 until they change their own character 18:48 and behavior. So now, how many morals 18:52 are ruined, how much behavior is 18:55 corrupted, right, Anis? Because of what 18:57 ? Because humans follow their desires, 19:00 right. Brothers in faith, may Allah 19:04 have mercy on you. Let’s open Surah 19:07 Hud, verse 15. This Surah Hud is the 19:12 11th surah, right. The verse is very 19:16 simple, brothers, but it contains 19:18 extraordinary meaning and purpose. 19:21 Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim. 19:27 yidulatad dunya wainataha nuwaffi 19:34 ilaihim a'alahum fiha wahum fiha laa 19:39 yubkhasun Just one verse for now, Anis. 19:44 The meaning, brothers, "man kana 19:46 yuridul hayatad dunya," whoever among 19:48 the servants of Allah, humans, right? 19:51 Humans. Actually, this also speaks to 19:56 other creatures, like jinn, right? Yes, 20:01 like the jinn who are also burdened 20:03 with obligations, right. Whoever 20:10 desires the world in this life, you 20:14 know, without looking left or right, 20:19 regardless of what's lawful or 20:23 forbidden, recklessly, blindly chasing 20:28 its adornments—the glitter of the 20:33 world, like gold, silver, and so on— 20:38 Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will open the 20:43 way for them to attain it. Allah will 20:48 grant them the path to achieve the 20:53 worldly desires they seek. The world 20:58 and its adornments that they desire. 21:00 Their actions are directed toward that 21:01 goal. Anis. Perhaps if we interpret it 21:05 now as deeds aimed at possessing the 21:09 world and its luxuries, such as when 21:12 they strive to become directors, 21:15 managers, or whatever, where worldly 21:18 success becomes easily attainable for 21:22 them. The path is opened by choosing 21:27 the right schooling to pursue the world 21:30 —accounting, business management, and 21:33 so on. That is opened by Allah 21:37 Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. "Nuwafi amalahum 21:39 fiha," when living in this world, the 21:41 path from zero until they obtain wealth 21:44 is indeed opened up, Anis. "Wahum fiha 21:49 la yubkhasun," and Allah Subhanahu Wa 21:52 Ta'ala will not cause them any loss, 21:55 and they will not feel short-changed. 22:00 Yes, but remember, are the things they 22:02 do under the shelter of Allah's 22:04 pleasure or not? The point is, Allah 22:07 will not cause them any loss. Regarding 22:10 the exegesis, Ikhwan, Ibn Kathir said, 22:14 "Qalal Aufi an Ibni Abbas fi hadil ayah 22:17 ." Right? The scholar Al-Aufi narrated 22:21 from Ibn Abbas regarding this verse, " 22:23 Inna ahl riya." Indeed, groups of 22:27 people who possess the trait of riya ( 22:29 showing off) act because they want to 22:31 be seen. 22:32 By others. They possess wealth just so 22:35 people see it. They achieve high status 22:39 just so people see it. All their deeds 22:43 are intended for others to see. So, 22:46 once people have seen it, that is their 22:48 portion. That's the point. "Inna ahl 22:52 riya." Indeed, those who possess the 22:55 trait of riya in this life, "yuwaffa 22:58 ilaihim bihasanatihim fid dunya." Allah 23:03 Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will give them the 23:06 worldly goodness they seek. Just like 23:09 what you mentioned earlier, Anis. 23:12 People's lives cannot be separated from 23:14 clothing, 23:15 food, 23:16 shelter, 23:17 and sustenance. Right? Their clothing. 23:20 Oh, their clothes are amazing; their 23:23 food. Gosh, they wouldn't settle for 23:27 just mung beans or cheap crackers, 23:30 right? They have high-end, 23:34 international-class tables, and their 23:37 shelter is truly extraordinary. Some 23:40 have shelters in the mountains or on 23:42 the side of a mountain. Some in the 23:44 city center, by the beach, or even in 23:47 the middle of the sea. That is their 23:49 shelter. You see. So those who are 23:53 ostentatious are given goodness in this 23:56 world as they desire. Walika annahum la 24:02 yudlamuna naqiro. Yes. And in such a 24:07 state, Allah will not treat them 24:10 unjustly, you see. Go ahead and take it 24:12 if you want, right? And remember 24:15 brothers, to whomever this advice is 24:17 given, it must be processed with common 24:19 sense. Always remember that the world, 24:23 when the Prophet likened the world to 24:25 the hereafter, is like our hand dipped 24:28 into the vastness of the ocean. Do you 24:33 understand, Anis? Here are our fingers. 24:36 When we are in the middle of the ocean, 24:38 we dip them in, just dip them, then 24:40 lift our hand up. Is there any seawater 24:44 lifted by our hand? There is, right? 24:47 Does it drip? 24:48 It does. And those drips, the seawater 24:51 carried by our fingers, count them, 24:53 Anis, how many are there? Now, imagine 24:58 the comparison of the seawater on our 25:02 fingers that drips—from the thumb, 25:05 index, middle, ring, and little finger 25:09 —it's at most 5 drops each, maybe 25 25:12 drops, imagine 25 drops, Anis, against 25:16 the vastness of the ocean. 25:21 Does it have any meaning, is there any 25:23 significance to those drops, those 25 25:25 drops? 25:26 There is. 25:26 No, there is no meaning when compared 25:28 to the vastness of the ocean. 25:30 The ocean. 25:32 Now, this is the world when compared to 25:34 the hereafter. That is the parable, the 25:37 analogy. So for those of us chasing the 25:41 world without caring about anything, 25:44 elbowing others, ignoring halal or 25:47 haram, just taking it all. Reflect on 25:50 this verse, reflect on this hadith of 25:52 the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, 25:54 you see. About Allah giving what humans 25:58 ask for, you see. No need to worry. But 26:02 remember, that gift from Allah will 26:04 become a disaster if it is not used in 26:06 the path of Allah Himself. And the 26:11 meaning of that*wa dhalika annahum la 26:13 yudlamuna*or...*yudlamuna naqira*— 26:18 they will not be wronged by Allah 26:20 Subhanahu wa ta'ala in the slightest, 26:22 you see. Meaning, if you want to take 26:25 the world, go ahead, as much as you 26:27 want. *Yaquulu man amila salihan 26:32 iltimasa**ad-dunya*. If it is for the 26:40 sake of the world, then even in 26:43 religious matters, Anis... 26:46 If the intention is wrong, we will be 26:50 at a loss. If we perform good deeds but 26:55 the goal is the world—whether that 26:58 good deed is*man amila*fasting or 27:02 prayer. 27:04 Right, whether it is fasting like we 27:07 are doing now in the holy month of 27:10 Ramadan, or even prayer. Or*tahajjud*at 27:17 night, right?*La ya'maluhu illa 27:24 iltimasad dunya*. No, they do not 27:28 perform that worship except for the 27:32 sake of matters related to the world. 27:36 Because nowadays, Anis, there are 27:38 people who fast wanting easy sustenance 27:40 . 27:41 H. 27:41 Even though sustenance has already been 27:43 measured by Allah. *Tahajjud*to find a 27:47 partner easily; I mean, it's not that* 27:50 tahajjud*is not beneficial, but don't 27:53 let that be the goal, you see? Praying 27:56 only for show, wanting to be seen by 27:59 people as diligent in worship, and so 28:02 on. Now, if the things being done are* 28:06 la yaalu illa iltimasad dunya*, solely 28:09 just to, well, gain praise from people 28:13 while living in this world. What does 28:17 Allah say?*Yaakulullahu*, Allah says, " 28:21 We will give them what they sought in 28:23 the world,"*minal matabati wa 28:28 amaluhadziana yaluhuas dunya wahua fil 28:30 akhirati minal khirin*, "of rewards, 28:32 but their deeds in this world will be 28:34 lost, and in the Hereafter, they are 28:36 among the losers." Allah will grant all 28:39 of that, you see. For those whose 28:42 prayers are performed to be seen by 28:44 others, whose fasting is meant to be 28:46 seen by others, to be praised, whose* 28:48 tahajjud*is performed until their 28:50 foreheads are dark, just so people say 28:53 you are an expert in*tahajjud*. They 28:56 will receive what they desired. Allah 29:00 will not, what do you call it, just let 29:03 it pass without giving. It is granted 29:06 by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. But 29:08 remember, *wahua fil akhirati minal 29:10 khirin*. People whose goal of worship 29:13 is only for the sake of the world are 29:15 classified as being among the losers. 29:18 Now, this is*waqila an Mujahid wa 29:21 Dahhaq*. This explanation was also 29:24 conveyed by scholars named Mujahid and 29:27 Ad-Dahhaq, and many others. And there 29:30 are not a few who commented on the 29:32 world like that. That is it. *Waqala 29:36 Anas bin Malik*. Here, Anas bin Malik 29:39 says, and Al-Hasan Al-Basri also joined 29:42 in commenting, *nazalat fil yahud wa 29:45 nasara*. This verse was revealed for 29:47 the groups of Jews and Christians. 29:50 Christians until now. Who controls the 29:52 economy? 29:53 The Christians. 29:54 Let's be honest. 29:56 Outsiders. 29:57 Outsiders, all the Jews and Christians, 30:00 whether it's heavy food products, 30:03 snacks, bottled water, pure water, or 30:07 bottled water that is, um, fruit water, 30:10 right, the orange kind, right, it all 30:13 belongs to them. This verse. That is 30:18 why the revelation of this verse was 30:20 intended not for the believers, not for 30:23 , um, the people of Muhammad, actually. 30:25 This is for them. Because when they 30:28 know the world, oh, they are greedy. 30:31 Greedy. 30:33 Not like us, the believing Muslims; 30:35 when Allah entrusts us with wealth, we 30:38 give out*infaq*and*sadaqah*. Every year 30:40 , if it has reached the*nisab*, there 30:42 is a mandatory*zakat*, right. As for 30:45 them, oh no, in fact, when wealth is 30:47 gathered, what do they think of? To 30:50 destroy the world itself. They build 30:54 weapon factories, right? They build 30:57 projects that are meant to, um, 31:00 strengthen, let's say, a country to 31:03 annex other countries. It ends up like 31:07 that, you know. So, if a condition like 31:10 this is not examined, brothers, * 31:12 subhanallah*, humans will be the losers 31:14 due to their bad character. Humans will 31:17 be losers, *ikhwat al-iman*, with their 31:19 dirty behaviors. Um, with this problem, 31:24 we must stop those bad deeds so that 31:26 when we return to Allah, we have tasted 31:29 the world and we will also taste the 31:32 Hereafter; so, compete, for what? To 31:37 become the best servants of Allah in 31:39 this world and the Hereafter, just like 31:41 our prayers, right? Remember, brothers, 31:44 this verse was revealed for the Jews 31:46 and Christians. Now, it is explained 31:53 again by other scholars that this verse 31:57 refers to*man kana uridud dunya*, right 32:00 , *hammuhu wa sadafuhu wa talabuhu*. If 32:07 indeed the world is their life's goal, 32:09 that is it. And he said that without 32:14 the world, they wouldn't be able to 32:15 live. So they gathered the world, 32:20 seeking it as hard as they could. They 32:24 even searched for worldly things down 32:25 to the bottom of the ocean. Isn't that 32:27 right, Anis? To the ocean floor, 32:29 looking for, uh, treasures. Sinking 32:35 through their massive ships, right? 32:39 They searched for worldly wealth 32:42 everywhere—drilling the earth, total 32:44 exploration, and chopping down forests 32:47 until they were completely bare. So 32:52 this interpretation says: *man kana 32:55 hammuhu...*...his intention is only to 33:02 seek the world, *jazahullahu bi 33:04 hasanati fid dunya*, Allah will give 33:06 worldly goodness; it won't diminish Him 33:09 in the slightest. Nanis. 33:13 Humans take Allah's wealth in 33:14 Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Irian Jaya, Java, 33:17 and Sumatra. Allah certainly cannot be 33:20 diminished, can He? Allah's wealth can 33:23 never be depleted. But remember, for 33:25 everything taken from Allah's wealth, 33:27 He will ask for accountability later. * 33:30 Jazahullahu bi hasanatihi fid dunya. * 33:33 Allah will grant those worldly benefits 33:36 . *Ilal akhirati wa laysa lahu fil 33:42 akhirati min khalaq. *But remember, 33:47 when you misuse Allah's wealth from the 33:51 seas, the earth, the trees, and the 33:55 animals, right? Remember once again, 34:01 Allah will demand an account of what He 34:04 gave you. Now, therefore, let's turn 34:10 our focus toward being grateful for 34:12 Allah's blessings. The meaning of 34:16 gratitude is that the way we earn it 34:18 must be halal. Nanis, right? The way we 34:22 distribute it must clearly be on the 34:25 path of Allah. 34:27 The path of Allah. 34:30 Because our feet will not move until 34:32 Allah asks us about four things. 34:35 Regarding wealth, youth, age, and 34:37 various other things. So, brothers, 34:41 let’s give ourselves the chance to 34:44 think clearly while living in this 34:47 world, regarding the words of the 34:51 scholars below. *Wa amal mukminatu, 34:54 nanis. **Wa amal mukmin fayujza bi 34:58 hasanatihi fid dunya. *As for the 35:02 believers, when Allah gives them the 35:07 blessing of life—honestly, if we look 35:13 through clear glasses, can the wealth 35:18 of Prophet Solomon even be measured? 35:24 Wow, it’s impossible to measure, 35:26 right? 35:27 It was vast. Back in Africa, there was 35:31 a king named Mansa Musa; his personal 35:36 wealth, if calculated now, would be 35:41 7,000 trillion. He is the richest 35:46 Muslim in the world during our time in 35:48 the Ummah of Muhammad. He was in Mali, 35:52 West Africa. 35:53 Mansa Musa. 35:53 Yes. When he went on Hajj, he gave away 35:57 the gold he possessed all along the 36:00 road to Mecca to the people he 36:02 encountered. And even then, his wealth 36:06 didn't decrease much because he had so 36:08 much. His wealth was truly 36:10 extraordinary. Look it up on YouTube; 36:12 you can find it there, it’s history. 36:14 Not from YouTube, you know, but from 36:16 history. And that is very well-known, 36:20 until the descendants of that kingdom 36:22 eventually vanished, it's gone, no 36:24 longer heard of, you see. But they once 36:28 lived and possessed such wealth. Even 36:30 the richest person in the world today 36:33 doesn't reach 7,000 trillion. Right? 36:36 Even if, let's say, we convert it to 36:38 today's currency. Oh, it's still richer 36:41 , the king named Musa was still richer. 36:44 Well, that's the point. Therefore, let 36:46 us think rationally now, brothers. Wa 36:50 ammal mukmin. As for the believers, 36:53 fayujazi biasanatihi fid dunya. Those 36:57 believers will be rewarded with a good 37:00 life by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. 37:03 Right? From houses, vehicles, to the 37:06 agricultural land they need. So that 37:10 when they are given those blessings, 37:12 they spend some of it in charity and 37:13 alms. Every year, they are obligated to 37:17 pay zakat from their wealth. That is a 37:20 believer. Wausabu alaiha fil akhirah. 37:26 And in the afterlife, they will be 37:28 given, subhanallah, rewards for their 37:30 righteous deeds. Isn't it profitable 37:33 for a believer, [makes you] want to cry 37:35 ? 37:35 Yes. 37:35 Right? Yeah. And there are many 37:39 testimonies from the Prophet's hadiths 37:41 regarding the condition of Muhammad's 37:43 followers who believe in Allah, who end 37:45 with a good ending and receive paradise 37:47 in the hereafter. That's how it is. Now 37:51 , then, brothers, in the 16th verse, 37:54 Allah declares, "Ulaika, they—ulaika 38:02 means those people—alladzina laisa 38:05 lahum fil akhirati illanar, wa habit ma 38:12 shanu fiha wa batilum ma kanu ya'malun. 38:17 " Is there a translation? There it is. 38:23 Masha'Allah. Ulaikalladzina, those who 38:26 behave like that, who only make the 38:29 world their goal and purpose in life. 38:33 There is nothing for them in the 38:35 hereafter, illanar, except for fire 38:38 hell. 38:38 Hell. Now, this is information for the 38:42 world. Please listen, everyone in the 38:45 community, including what the ustadz 38:47 said earlier, about those crazy about 38:49 the world. Listen to this advice so 38:52 that we are safe in the world and 38:54 become noble people in the hereafter. 38:58 Do not be crazy about the wealth you 39:00 possess. Especially if the way you 39:02 acquired it is forbidden by Allah. 39:05 That's the point. Whoever hears my 39:07 words, my advice here, please come to 39:09 your senses. We are just ordinary 39:12 humans. Eating too much is impossible. 39:15 For an ordinary person to eat 10 plates 39:16 is impossible. Right? Also, wanting to 39:19 sleep, subhanallah, it's impossible for 39:21 us to sleep constantly like the people 39:23 of the cave (Ashabul Kahfi). Right? 39:28 Even with transportation, it's 39:29 impossible for us to drive 10 cars at 39:31 the same time in one day, it's 39:32 impossible, just one car, right? That 39:35 is the awareness that Allah Subhanahu 39:38 wa Ta'ala is waiting for regarding our 39:41 madness for the world. So Allah says, " 39:44 Ulaikalladzina laisa lahum fil akhirati 39:47 illanar." Those whose life purpose and 39:50 life goals are only the world, the 39:53 world of housing, the world of vehicles 39:55 , the world of land, right Anis, the 39:58 world of wealth that is taken through 40:00 corruption, you know, manipulation, 40:03 bribery. abusing this authority. They 40:08 are threatened by Allah that in the 40:09 hereafter they will not get anything 40:11 except the heat of hellfire 40:14 hell. Wake up, brothers, to such a 40:16 condition. Anis and their deeds in this 40:21 world like that will be discarded in 40:23 the sight of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 40:26 There is no benefit. Wa-thalam ma 40:29 ya'malun. And their deeds are nullified 40:32 . What does nullified mean? Not valid. 40:34 Valid 40:35 their deeds are not valid. By Allah's 40:38 law, it is not accepted. Those things 40:40 are not valid. Meaning, is wealth 40:42 obtained from the proceeds of 40:45 corruption valid or not? This 40:48 corruption, is it valid or not? 40:50 No. Right. 40:52 is wealth from robbing valid or not? 40:55 No. 40:56 No. wealth from multiplying, let's say, 41:00 money now, now there's money laundering 41:06 yeah. 41:07 Yes. 41:08 Now, and multiplying money and all 41:10 sorts, even the money is in in money 41:14 laundering, that is the same, such 41:17 things are void in nature. It's not 41:20 valid, it's null, not legitimate, right 41:22 ? It is not legitimate according to 41:24 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So stop 41:26 those deeds, there is exploration of 41:28 natural resources everywhere, but the 41:30 results are only for personal 41:33 right, personal, the individual 41:35 concerned, not for the community, the 41:38 many people, let alone claiming it's 41:41 for welfare. Stop that because their 41:43 deeds are void according to Allah. This 41:46 wealth, this nature, is not ours, 41:48 humans ', but Allah's. Ask Allah in the 41:51 way permitted by Allah. If not, well, 41:55 we are robbing Allah's wealth. that is 41:58 not allowed, you know. So their deeds 42:01 in this world are nullified, and in the 42:04 hereafter, they will receive the threat 42:06 , nauzubillah minzalik, of that very 42:08 hot hellfire. Therefore, brothers who 42:12 are blessed by Allah, once again, Ustaz 42:14 can only give, what is it, some kind of 42:17 sharing to this community so that we 42:19 don't too much deify worldly 42:23 possessions. Let's not be too crazy 42:27 about the world, right? And don't let 42:31 the world master our hearts. However, 42:36 Ustaz invites us to have the quality of 42:38 zuhud (asceticism). Now, what is zuhud, 42:41 Anis? The quality of zuhud is like this 42:44 , let's define it broadly, okay. 42:46 Hm. 42:47 Is one allowed to have many houses? 42:49 Allowed. 42:49 Is one allowed to have many cars? Is 42:53 one allowed to have vast lands? Allowed 42:56 . Is one allowed to have four wives? 42:58 Allowed. 42:59 Allowed. Is one allowed to have as much 43:01 of the world as possible? No one is 43:02 forbidding it. 43:04 Right, Anis? No one is forbidding it. 43:06 If you have money and want to buy an 43:07 island in the middle of the ocean, it's 43:09 fine as long as it's done the right way 43:10 . No one is forbidding you from buying 43:13 a cruise ship like the Titanic 43:15 right. No one is forbidding it. If you 43:17 are able, please do so, but remember 43:20 that all the wealth the Ustaz mentioned 43:23 earlier must not enter our hearts. Keep 43:27 it outside the heart. Meaning, do not 43:30 let the wealth you own control your 43:32 heart, making your heart crazy for the 43:34 world. 43:37 If we possess wealth and our hearts are 43:39 controlled by the world, that is what 43:42 we call being tempted. We then 43:45 experience the disease called al-wahan. 43:49 Love of the world. 43:50 Yes. Love of the world, that is. Once 43:52 you love the world, it is clear you 43:54 will fear death. You fear that your 43:56 wealth will be left behind upon death. 43:58 For whom will the wealth be then? 43:59 That's how it is. Imagine if it were 44:02 given for charity in the way of Allah, 44:04 building Islamic boarding schools, or 44:05 waqf land. Subhanallah, building public 44:09 roads for the benefit of the wider 44:11 community. Distributing that wealth to 44:14 the people who need it. Now that the 44:16 people are crying out about the economy 44:18 , give it to them, right? So that even 44:21 though you go to the afterlife without 44:23 money, you have already attained glory. 44:25 Isn't that right, Nanis? Now, therefore 44:27 , let us reflect on the meaning of 44:30 zuhud (asceticism). Zuhud does not 44:33 forbid humans from owning wealth of any 44:36 kind, but do not let that wealth enter 44:39 the heart. Keep it outside the heart so 44:44 that you are free to give it to others 44:46 in need when it is obtained; that is 44:49 what is called zuhud. So, no matter how 44:52 much wealth you have, it shouldn't 44:54 reach the heart. "Just let them have it 44:57 , they need it," that is how it should 44:59 be. But if that wealth is already in 45:02 the heart, the heart says "take all the 45:04 wealth" without looking left or right, 45:05 not caring about what is halal or haram 45:07 . Now, this is what is not allowed. 45:10 This is the meaning of zuhud, brothers. 45:11 So, this abundant wealth should not 45:13 control the heart. But the danger, 45:16 brothers of faith, is that when there 45:19 is much wealth, mostly hearts are still 45:21 controlled by that wealth. We seek 45:23 refuge in Allah from that. That is, 45:26 brothers of faith who are blessed by 45:29 Allah, the verses that the Ustaz could 45:31 convey from Surah Hud, verses 15 and 16 45:34 . Uh, hopefully what the Ustaz has 45:41 conveyed, although in the way I 45:43 delivered it, is beneficial for those 45:46 listening, especially those who always 45:49 listen to Radio Rasil and watch the 45:52 enlightenment on Rasil TV, and 45:54 generally to the public who, day by day 45:58 , still need advice from the scholars 46:00 and teachers. Allah knows best. 46:04 Allah knows best. Alright, thank you 46:06 Ustaz for the enlightenment and the 46:09 lecture this morning. It was certainly 46:11 very beneficial, Ustaz. What was 46:13 conveyed by Ustaz Umar Rasyid Hasan. 46:16 Brothers and sisters, we invite those 46:19 who wish to send questions regarding 46:23 our theme, which is the study of Tafsir 46:26 Ibn Kathir in the Quran, Surah Hud, 46:29 chapter 11, verses 15 to 16. For Rasil 46:34 TV YouTube viewers, you are also 46:36 welcome to leave comments in the Rasil 46:39 TV YouTube chat column. We will take a 46:42 short break, brothers and sisters. Spread them 50:04 to your relatives and friends. May this 50:06 be our charity, and hopefully, it can 50:09 be useful for all of us. Amen, O Lord 50:11 of the worlds. Alright, we will now 50:13 enter the second session, the question 50:15 and answer session. We will read the 50:17 questions that have come in, Ustaz. 50:20 Yes. 50:21 The first one is from Mr. Edi Suryadi 50:24 in Cibinong. Ustaz, peace be upon you 50:26 and God's mercy and blessings. And 50:28 peace be upon you and God's mercy and 50:30 blessings. 50:31 Ustaz Umar, thank God, may you always 50:34 be healthy and well, Ustaz. 50:36 Thank God. 50:37 May I ask a question, Ustaz? Earlier, 50:39 you mentioned that many people in our 50:41 government are afflicted with the 50:43 disease of al-wahan. What I want to ask 50:46 is, why can one be afflicted by this 50:48 disease, and to what extent is the role 50:50 of scholars in preaching to those 50:52 exposed to this al-wahan disease? Thank 50:55 you. 50:55 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, 50:56 the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, 50:58 Lord of the worlds. Peace and blessings 50:59 be upon the Messenger of God and upon 51:01 his family and all his companions. To 51:03 proceed. Regarding this disease, indeed 51:06 , Ustaz mentioned earlier, mostly, Anis 51:09 , right? 51:09 Yes. 51:10 Yes. Most of those suffering from this 51:14 disease are officials, aren't they? But 51:18 this disease generally dominates all 51:20 human beings. 51:23 You know. Let's try to feel it together 51:27 every day. 51:29 What percentage of this life is for God 51:31 ? And what percentage is for the world? 51:34 If the world still dominates the 51:36 percentage of our lives compared to our 51:38 devotion to God, then we are also 51:39 included among those affected by the 51:41 disease of al-wahan. 51:43 Al-wahan, you know. 51:46 Especially, subhanallah, specifically, 51:50 this disease is mostly felt by people 51:53 who possess a lot of material wealth. 51:57 Right. 51:58 Who, in quotation marks, has a lot of 52:01 material wealth? None other than the 52:04 officials and those in power. That's 52:07 how it is. This disease cannot be 52:09 denied. Only, what we must think about 52:12 is the awareness. 52:13 About the awareness and concern for 52:16 certain people who are experiencing 52:19 this al-wahan disease. Now, then the 52:23 second question, what is the role of 52:26 the scholars? The role of scholars in 52:29 facing this disease that is rampant 52:32 among us. Among the general public or 52:35 among the specific circles. Among the 52:37 general public, all humans, and among 52:39 the specific circles, the officials and 52:41 those in power. Yes, we must not stay 52:44 silent. It's a pity if we leave it, 52:46 it's a pity if we stay silent. Anis, 52:49 they are our brothers too. Perhaps that 52:52 official is our own uncle, you know. 52:54 Isn't that right, Anis? 52:55 That's right. I even have a nephew who 52:57 holds a high position, you know. Is it 52:59 the High Prosecutor or the District 53:01 Prosecutor from the Attorney's Office? 53:03 The District Prosecutor. 53:04 Is it High Prosecutor or...Huh? 53:06 High Prosecutor, right. The chief 53:08 justice, uh, chief... 53:10 Anyway, the one in charge of justice, I 53:13 have a cousin who was a High Prosecutor 53:15 many times over, most recently in Riau. 53:18 H 53:19 That one. What about now? Retired. 53:22 Retired just last year because he’s 53:23 the same age as the Ustaz. Who knows, 53:26 that official might be our own family 53:27 member. Right, Anis? 53:29 Yes. 53:31 Who knows, that official might be our 53:33 uncle, our brother, or our sister. 53:37 If we just stay silent in this 53:40 condition, oh God, it’s a pity, our 53:43 family will be dragged into a world 53:46 that truly ruins them, right? Now, as 53:51 laypeople, who do we work with to give 53:53 advice? With those who know religion. 53:56 Who, in quotes, are those who know 53:59 religion? They are, needless to say, 54:03 the ustaz, the clerics, the kiais, and 54:05 the scholars. Now, these kiais, 54:09 scholars, and ulama must not remain 54:13 silent regarding the illness currently 54:18 plaguing those officials. I can, not to 54:23 be suspicious, Anis, I can analyze it. 54:27 Perhaps these despicable acts committed 54:31 by those in power happen because of the 54:35 lack of guidance from the scholars. It 54:40 could be, Anis. 54:41 Hm. 54:42 Because of the lack of life guidance 54:44 from those who understand religion. 54:47 It’s even more ridiculous. Those who 54:49 know religion join in and suffer from 54:52 that "al-wahan" disease. God forbid. 54:57 They even collaborate to seek that 54:59 corrupting material wealth. Oh, how 55:02 twice as disastrous that is, right? 55:07 That’s why the role of the ulama here 55:08 cannot be taken lightly. Let’s keep 55:11 being advisors. Let’s keep being what 55:14 ? Be people who care about the decay of 55:18 morals and behavior that we all engage 55:21 in, from the top level down to the 55:23 bottom. If our advice is not accepted 55:27 by them. Those who commit public crimes 55:31 , we still have a duty to deliver that 55:34 advice. Even if the one giving the 55:38 advice is suddenly threatened with 55:40 prison, for instance. God forbid. Well, 55:43 that’s the reality these days. 55:46 We give advice kindly and it’s 55:48 rejected harshly, or even worse, right? 55:50 Instead, those who give the advice get 55:53 what? Threatened, right? Now, today, 55:56 let’s think clearly. 55:58 And those who are suffering from that " 56:02 al-wahan" disease shouldn't be shunned 56:05 or hated; pray for them, guide them— 56:09 that is the best way, Anis. Let’s not 56:13 hate those who commit crimes. Advise 56:16 them. Because perhaps they commit 56:19 crimes because, one, there was an 56:20 opportunity. Second, no one gave them 56:22 any guidance. Right, Anis? 56:25 Right. 56:26 Just imagine if when they were about to 56:28 commit a crime, someone said, "Don't do 56:29 that, it’s not right." Therefore, I 56:33 hope that all government and private 56:35 institutions will reach out to these 56:37 Ustadz and Kiai to serve as advisors 56:39 within their organizations. Government 56:43 institutions must have many Ustadz and 56:46 Kiai present. But they must be the real 56:49 ones, not those who are just as crazy 56:51 about the 56:52 world. world. Nowadays, many Kiai are 56:55 actually crazy about the world. Instead 56:58 of giving advice, they join in enjoying 57:01 this fleeting world. Ah, that is the 57:04 problem, isn't it? So, brothers, 57:07 regarding the previous question from 57:09 the gentleman from, uh, Cibinong. 57:12 From Cibinong, that the role of 57:13 scholars should not be diminished in 57:15 addressing such decline, and we must 57:17 not lose hope. Advice must be given 57:21 throughout all time, as long as we live 57:23 , throughout our lives. 57:25 It cannot stop as long as these actions 57:29 persist and as long as there is no 57:32 change in society. That’s how it is. 57:34 This is the importance of "addinu 57:36 nasihah." Religion is sincerity in 57:38 advice. Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. 57:41 And Allah knows best. Very well, I hope 57:43 Mr. Edi's question has been answered. 57:46 Let's continue, this is from Mr. Yudi 57:48 in Bogor. Ustadz, peace be upon you, 57:49 and Allah's mercy and blessings. 57:50 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 57:51 mercy and blessings. 57:52 How can one cure the disease of " 57:54 al-wahan," for example, the feeling of 57:56 anxiety when facing worldly trials? 57:58 Thank you. 57:59 Subhanallah. What kind of anxiety? Yes. 58:02 Including the disease of "al-wahan." In 58:05 my analysis, it is possible 58:08 that this anxiety is a byproduct or a 58:10 descendant of the disease of 58:12 al-wahan. Why feel anxious? That's the 58:15 point. That is the question. 58:17 What is the cause of your anxiety? Is 58:19 it because you were left by a 58:20 girlfriend? Is it because you don't 58:23 have a job yet? Is it because you want 58:25 to get married but have no money? 58:27 That’s how it is, right? Then go get 58:28 a job. Yes, work hard so you can earn 58:32 money to get married. That’s right, 58:34 isn't it? Work again if you’ve been 58:37 left by a beautiful woman. But don't 58:39 date, okay? That is not allowed. Dating 58:41 is forbidden. It’s haram. 58:42 Uh-huh. She is not your spouse. There 58:44 are plenty of women out there. There 58:46 are beautiful, pious women in Islamic 58:48 boarding schools. Right? 58:50 There are many pious mothers in 58:53 religious study groups. Find one there. 58:56 Heh. 58:56 And don't look for women on the side of 58:58 the road, you'll just catch diseases. 59:00 That's how it is. So, this anxiety is a 59:04 form of that "al-wahan" sickness. The 59:08 way to cure it is to get closer to 59:11 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and draw 59:14 closer to the Quran because the Quran 59:16 is the cure for all diseases. Yes, the 59:20 Quran is the healer of various types of 59:22 illnesses. Even Prophet Ibrahim said, " 59:26 Wa idza maridhtu fahuwa yashfin." When 59:30 I am ill, and what does illness mean? 59:33 Uh-huh. 59:34 It includes the sickness of anxiety, 59:38 right? "Wa idza maridhtu." And when I 59:41 am ill, illness comes in many forms, 59:43 doesn't it? Whether it's the "al-wahan" 59:46 mentioned, or the anxiety currently 59:48 being asked about. "Fahuwa yashfin." 59:51 And it is Allah who will heal it. But 59:54 remember, how do we do it? Draw closer 59:56 to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala through 59:59 piety. What is piety? Piety is carrying 1:00:03 out Allah's commands and leaving His 1:00:05 prohibitions. Hopefully, in this way, 1:00:09 all illnesses can be resolved and the 1:00:12 sicknesses experienced can be healed. 1:00:16 Like that, Nakis. God knows best. As 1:00:19 for the medicine given by the doctor, 1:00:21 it is not wrong if the anxiety has 1:00:24 reached a stress level. Nakis must be, 1:00:27 what's it called? Checked by a doctor, 1:00:31 right? Besides that, the anxiety that 1:00:35 is currently rife in society must 1:00:38 return to the path of Allah Subhanahu 1:00:41 wa ta'ala. God knows best. So it must 1:00:45 go back to Quran Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 1:00:47 28, Ustaz. By remembering Allah, our 1:00:50 hearts will be at peace. If the heart 1:00:52 is at peace, the disease disappears. 1:00:54 All sorts of diseases disappear. That 1:00:56 is it. 1:00:57 That's right, Ustaz. Yes. 1:00:58 MasyaAllah, sir. Thank you, Ustaz, for 1:01:00 the answer. We will read one last 1:01:01 question, Ustaz. 1:01:02 Is the time up already? 1:01:03 It is finished, Ustaz. And please 1:01:05 continue with the conclusion as well, 1:01:07 Ustaz. This is from Mrs. Ainun in 1:01:10 Kampung Rambutan. Peace be upon you and 1:01:12 Allah's mercy and blessings, Ustaz. 1:01:13 Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and 1:01:15 blessings. 1:01:16 Ustaz, please provide a study on what 1:01:18 will happen when we are in the grave. I 1:01:21 mean to ask this so that those people 1:01:24 there, they say when in the grave 1:01:29 not a single person will accompany them 1:01:31 , not even their wealth will accompany 1:01:34 them. What will accompany them are only 1:01:37 their deeds. 1:01:38 Oh my. Is that correct? That is 1:01:39 absolutely true. Only their deeds 1:01:41 accompany them. 1:01:42 Oh God. 1:01:43 So, Mother, whom Allah blesses in 1:01:45 Kampung Rambutan. I used to have an 1:01:47 office in Kampung Rambutan, right by 1:01:49 the terminal. 1:01:50 Subhanallah. 1:01:52 So this issue is actually a universal 1:01:54 one. An issue related to life for 1:01:57 humans in general. 1:01:59 Humans, right? How to treat people who 1:02:03 have such illnesses, right? So that in 1:02:07 their graves, they do not receive the 1:02:10 threat of punishment. Now repent, there 1:02:14 is no other answer for sure, that is to 1:02:17 repent. 1:02:19 Repent. 1:02:21 And Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala is very 1:02:23 happy when witnessing His servant 1:02:25 repenting. There is even a story, Anis, 1:02:30 because of the joy, someone in the past 1:02:32 lost his camel. When the camel was lost 1:02:37 , he searched here and there, here and 1:02:39 there, eventually found the camel. 1:02:42 Right? When he found it, he was 1:02:45 grateful to Allah until he misspoke, " 1:02:47 Allahumma anta rabbi wa ana abduka." He 1:02:51 repented from his state and was 1:02:54 grateful. "Allahumma ana rabbi wa anta 1:02:56 abduk." Eh, what? "Allahumma anta abduk 1:03:00 wa ana rabbi," like that. The sentence 1:03:02 is like that. Oh God, I am Your Lord. 1:03:03 You are my servant. Because of such joy 1:03:07 at finding what was lost. Yes, that is 1:03:11 not blamed in such a condition. Because 1:03:14 , let's call it a surprise, or what's 1:03:16 the term, something unexpected, that 1:03:18 sentence wasn't intentional. Now, this 1:03:21 repentance, my brothers in faith, is 1:03:24 highly awaited by Allah Subhanahu wa 1:03:27 Ta'ala, you see. So the only cure is 1:03:29 repentance. Once you repent, brothers, 1:03:33 God willing, our possessions will 1:03:35 assist us. 1:03:38 Especially when given as charity or 1:03:39 spent in the path of Allah Subhanahu wa 1:03:41 Ta'ala, it will illuminate our graves. 1:03:43 Who is wrong? Who says our wealth 1:03:44 cannot be taken to the afterlife? That 1:03:47 wealth will be taken to the afterlife 1:03:50 when it is spent in the path of Allah. 1:03:52 It will accompany us in that dark grave 1:03:56 . That's it. That is why we must not be 1:04:00 negligent in life. Someone else's 1:04:02 property becomes our property, right? 1:04:04 Someone else's wealth becomes our 1:04:06 wealth. If taken by force or through 1:04:08 corruption, that will also become a 1:04:11 companion. What kind of companion? A 1:04:13 bad companion later on. 1:04:14 A grave that is already dark becomes 1:04:16 even dar— 1:04:17 dark, there is no lamp to light it. But 1:04:20 brothers in faith, when the realm of 1:04:22 the grave awaits us, Allahu Akbar. How 1:04:24 thick and dark that grave realm is. How 1:04:28 terrifying the description of the 1:04:30 grave's torment is if a servant of 1:04:31 Allah has not prepared themselves to 1:04:33 become an inhabitant of the grave, 1:04:35 right. So we must prepare to be 1:04:38 inhabitants of the grave through our 1:04:40 assets, our wealth, our deeds, and 1:04:42 through all our obedience. So that what 1:04:45 ? So that what Mother said earlier, the 1:04:48 question earlier, becomes advice for 1:04:50 whom? For those people over there. Yes. 1:04:53 Those over there, in Jakarta, in 1:04:55 Bandung, in Bogor, in Medan, and so on. 1:04:59 Even those in the world who are 1:05:01 obsessed with wealth and abuse their 1:05:04 positions, so that what? They repent to 1:05:07 Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala so that later 1:05:09 in their graves it won't be dark and 1:05:11 they won't receive the grave's torment. 1:05:13 Do you hear? 1:05:14 True. He will be alone, all by himself. 1:05:18 If there are no righteous deeds, oh God 1:05:20 , who will accompany him? No one can 1:05:24 accompany him. In fact, that torment is 1:05:26 because of his own mistakes. But we, as 1:05:28 believers, hopefully, brothers in faith 1:05:30 , no matter how small our deeds, we 1:05:32 will bring them to the land of the 1:05:33 grave, to the realm of the grave, so 1:05:35 that Allah will multiply these few 1:05:37 deeds to become our companions later. 1:05:40 They will be the light for our dark 1:05:42 graves and we will be secured from all 1:05:44 fears of what will happen in the grave. 1:05:48 But those who currently persist and 1:05:50 refuse to repent, and until they die 1:05:52 they do not repent. Oh God, that is 1:05:55 their business, they and Allah 1:05:57 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Before everything 1:06:00 happens and becomes 1:06:02 a regret, it would be best if today we 1:06:05 think clearly for the future life in 1:06:08 the grave and in the eternal hereafter. 1:06:12 Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. 1:06:14 Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. Alright, we 1:06:16 say jazakallah khair to Ustaz Umar for 1:06:19 answering the question from Ibu Ainun 1:06:22 in Kampung Rambutan. Alhamdulillah, 1:06:25 brothers and sisters, listeners of 1:06:27 Radio Sultim who are blessed by Allah 1:06:28 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
