- woman.
- Yes.

- wasalamu ala rasulillah. Wala haula
- wala quwwata illa billah. Allahumma shi
- wasallim wabarik ala sayidina
- Muhammadin waa alihi wasbihi aj w.
- Hopefully on this Friday which is
- glorified by Allah we are blessed by it
- . May all our acts of worship and
- activities be accepted by Allah.
- And we intend all of this from the
- moment we wake up until we go to sleep,
- with the intention of seeking Allah's
- pleasure. May Allah be pleased with us
- all. Insyaallah, today we will discuss
- a topic that is actually not quite
- eight, but to shorten it, if we count
- it, it might not be several Maulidin,
- maybe thousands of ways. How to be a
- patient and sincere Muslim woman. There
- are many, but we will shorten it to
- make it easier for us to remember and
- practice it. Insyaallah, we, you, me,
- and all of us. I, you, we are all,
- insyaallah, in the process of change.
- So, our discussion is aimed at all of
- us who are called Muslim women. Whether
- she is a mother, a wife, a daughter, or
- whoever she is, we can use this as our
- guide. Eight ways to be a patient and
- sincere Muslim woman. Earlier we talked
- with Mbak Olin, wow, being patient is
- difficult, let alone being sincere.
- Ustan, but insyaallah, we still want
- the best. Therefore, we will limit our
- discussion to just
- eight ways, and even that takes time
- and process, because even one requires
- practice. So, the first is how to
- become a patient and sincere Muslim
- woman. The first is to be a worldly
- person, or at least strengthen your
- intention in your heart. We discussed
- earlier how to be patient, how to be
- sincere? Have I become a patient mother
- , a sincere mother? Have I become a
- patient and sincere wife, a patient and
- sincere Muslim woman, or a patient and
- sincere child? There are so many trials
- . This feeling is extraordinary. Can I
- be patient and sincere? Well, the first
- thing we want all Rasil listeners and
- Rasil TV viewers to know is that
- innamal a'malu bin niat (innocent
- intention). All deeds depend on
- intention. How can we be patient and
- sincere if we don't have the intention
- to be patient and sincere? If we
- complain all the time, 'I'm impatient.'
- How can I be forever impatient and
- unable to be sincere? So, therefore,
- the first thing we must truly instill
- in ourselves, in our souls, is to renew
- our intention. Intend, "O Allah,
- hopefully I can become a patient woman,
- a sincere woman." So, it requires a
- strong intention. This intention cannot
- be half-hearted. This intention is not
- just following the crowd. This theme
- now is about patience and sincerity.
- Try it. No. This intention and
- sincerity, this intention of patience
- and sincerity must be complete. We make
- it a whole. God willing, O Allah, I
- intend to hopefully become a patient
- and sincere mother. O Allah, I want to
- be a patient and sincere wife. This is
- a lot of trials, O Allah. Here is a
- husband like this, children like this,
- economic conditions like this. Yes,
- what, O Allah? O Allah, I want to be
- patient and sincere. Strengthen your
- intention and determination. Convince
- yourself that, God willing, we can be
- patient, we can be sincere. God willing
- , we can hopefully become the person we
- desire. Therefore, we do all of this
- for God. Only because of God do we have
- strength. We want all our deeds, all
- our activities, God willing, for God.
- So when we want to be a patient and
- sincere Muslim woman, of course
- everything is for God, not because of
- other people. That would be a huge loss
- , right? Therefore, first of all, our
- intention is to hopefully become a
- patient person. If in our minds we
- already have the element of "I can't be
- patient," how can I be patient if I was
- born to temperamental parents, I will
- never be able to. So it goes back to
- intention, motivation, suggestion. Yes,
- God willing, it can be. This is a
- matter of intention. It's not just our
- desire to be patient and sincere.
- Actually, for anything in our life
- activities in this world, there needs
- and must be an intention for God. Yes,
- let me give an example. Innamal a'malu
- biniat. It all depends on intention,
- right, Miss. There are people who have
- it, and there are two people, two
- Muslim women who are both doing
- activities, there is no difference. A
- wife or a mother has the same
- activities, taking care of her husband,
- children, and the household, all of
- which are the same, there's no
- difference. But what differentiates
- them is their intention. When they
- position themselves as a wife or mother
- , one's intention is for Allah, the
- other's is just a routine. Right?
- Routine, right? A wife's routine?
- Another husband as a mother's routine
- is taking care of the children.
- Obligations,
- yes, are like this: waking up, sleeping
- , children, yes, everything, yes,
- meaning just live it as it is, like a
- flowing area. The results are different
- .
- When a mother or a wife wakes up, then
- her intention is only to seek Allah's
- pleasure, all the activities she does,
- God willing, are worship. So, this is
- the function of extraordinary
- intentions, yes. Intentions are
- extraordinary. So we start with
- intentions with the hope that we can be
- patient, can be sincere intentions,
- Miss. Another example, this is the
- importance of intentions. This toll
- road is congested, there is a rest area
- . Usually, if someone wants to relax
- and rest, they say, "Let's stop by the
- rest area first." There's a mosque or
- prayer room there, where you can sit,
- or maybe a mosque. If the rest area is
- outside the city, the mosque is quite
- comfortable. So, let's wait, rather
- than get stuck in traffic on the toll
- road, let's rest. So, we rest, then at
- the mosque, we go in and lie down, then
- when it's time to pray, pray, join the
- congregational prayer. What's the
- reward? Of course it's big. Because
- he's at the mosque praying in
- congregation. But when someone has an
- intention, he has the intention to go
- to the mosque first, ah, just intend to
- do i'tikaf. Rather than doing nothing,
- he has the intention to do i'tikaf.
- Then he also intends to wait for the
- next prayer time. Well, while he's at
- the mosque, he gets the reward for
- i'tikaf. He also gets the reward for
- waiting for prayer time. Because it's
- considered worship, the reward for
- prayer too, right? So it all depends on
- the intention or for example the
- donation box, Miss, you usually like to
- reflex, right, mothers or anyone who is
- studying at the mosque through the
- donation box, yes, we have taken out
- the money from our wallets, put it in
- the donation box, it's finished, right,
- what was the intention, Miss? Sometimes
- we forget, right? Well, when we intend
- in our hearts, "O Allah, I intend the
- reward, hopefully, hopefully, it
- reaches my father or mother who has
- passed away." Allahum yarham, O Allah,
- convey the reward to them, O Allah.
- Bismillah, it reaches them, Miss. So,
- all that is needed is intention, so be
- smart in your intention. Well,
- therefore, because the theme of our
- discussion is eight ways to become a
- patient and sincere Muslim woman, the
- first thing is to strengthen the
- intention in our hearts. Hopefully, God
- willing, we can become patient and
- sincere Muslim women. O Allah, give me
- patience. O Allah, please continue to
- let me be sincere. Hopefully, no matter
- how big the test and trial, hopefully,
- we can handle it well, face it well
- because we have increased patience.
- Because of God's help, we have
- sincerity, no longer relying on humans.
- Okay, bismillah. That's amazing, isn't
- it, Miss? So, this is the first step:
- intend everything for God. Your
- intention shouldn't be half-hearted.
- Your intention shouldn't be just
- following others. Your intention should
- be entirely for God. Hopefully, we will
- get God's help here, God's help so that
- we have patience and sincerity in
- living our lives and carrying out our
- daily obligations. We can do it, God
- willing. Yes, that's the first.
- Intention. Second, of the eight ways to
- become a patient and sincere Muslim
- woman, is to continue to draw closer to
- God. That second, patience and
- sincerity are actually difficult. If we
- want to have this difficult quality, of
- course we need help, need backup or
- backing, ee backing from ee the ruler
- of the universe. The all-powerful, the
- all-powerful, the one we depend on,
- should be how we draw closer to our
- creator. We can't bear the burden. We
- lean on the cupboard, but it turns out
- the weight is heavier than the cupboard
- . Yes, we could fall under that burden.
- But when we lean on the all-powerful
- ruler of the universe, God willing, the
- burden will be made easier. So,
- therefore, we can hopefully draw closer
- to Allah. Of course, drawing closer to
- Allah is not just through talk, right,
- Miss. Drawing closer to Allah does
- require maximum effort by performing
- all the sunnah acts of worship. By
- performing all the sunnah acts of
- worship, God willing, we can draw
- closer to Allah. I want to convey there
- is a hadith. This hadith is a valid
- hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah.
- Rasulullah ee Rasul sahu alaihi
- wasallam ee said that Allah has said,
- so this is a hadith qudsi yes. So in
- this hadith the essence is like this.
- servant bai ahaba mim alai whibbah. So
- what this means is, if I am a servant,
- he does not draw closer to me with a
- form of worship that I love more than
- what I have obliged him to do. The
- servant then carried out the worship
- that I required. So first, do the
- obligatory obligatory worship. Then
- after that because he wanted to get
- closer to me. Well, then my servant
- drew closer to me with sunnah practices
- . First you have to do it. This
- mandatory thing is important for Muslim
- women. Let us not neglect what is
- obligatory. What is mandatory, Sis?
- Those who must
- pray.
- Prayer, fasting.
- Fasting, zakat like that. This means
- that the first thing that many of us
- have to do is pray. When it's time for
- prayer, leave all our daily activities
- and immediately answer Allah's call.
- Cooking, whatever, stop the stove.
- Whatever Allah has called us to do,
- stop for a moment, it won't be long.
- Because usually, I'm sorry, usually
- when we are mothers or wives at home,
- the housework is endless. Sometimes
- it's already too late, after cooking,
- all we have to do is wash the dishes.
- Then the call to prayer is in our
- hearts, after washing the dishes, we'll
- pray for a moment. It turns out that
- Satan has distracted us, he's always
- looking at the dishes, looking at this,
- looking at that. It turns out, God
- forbid, the endless work of this world.
- Now, when we hear the call to prayer,
- it's Allah's call, hayya alas shaya
- alal falah. We leave all of this. Yes,
- this is easy, later we can stop, and
- later, the endless business will stop.
- We clean ourselves, perform ablution,
- and pray. Subhanallah. We have
- fulfilled our obligation. We draw
- closer to Allah and the goal is to seek
- His pleasure. Done. That's another
- thing, it feels light, Sis. If we do
- our obligations on time, it feels like
- time is a blessing. Sometimes there are
- mothers who are busy feeding their
- children, feeding them. Feeding a child
- doesn't take a short time. So, ah, feed
- them first, then they'll be satisfied.
- Yes. This child can be tempted by Satan
- . He causes all sorts of trouble,
- taking a long time. In the end, how
- many prayers do they pray? Almost close
- to Asr.
- Satan goes through the child.
- Satan goes through the child. Children
- are made, well, subhanallah, yes. So
- this is so that we can gain patience
- and sincerity. Second, we draw closer
- to Allah. First, with the acts of
- worship that He has made obligatory for
- us. We try to do them on time. Then we
- perform the voluntary acts of worship.
- Yes. So, you and my servant draw closer
- to me with voluntary deeds until I love
- him. So, when we have completed the
- sunnah practices, the obligatory ones
- are obligatory. That's the sunnah. So,
- never mind what, usually if someone is
- accustomed to sunnah worship, it's
- certain that the obligatory ones will
- never be neglected. But if it's only
- the obligatory ones, then he might
- neglect the obligatory ones, and the
- time shifts. Well, these are two of
- them. Well, then in the hadith, the
- hadith qudsi, then Allah explains again
- , if I love him, I become his hearing
- that he uses to hear. Subhanallah. The
- hearing of this servant is hearing that
- is as if Allah is the one who hears.
- Because it is hearing because Allah has
- loved him. Then and ee then next is and
- as the sight that he uses to see. So
- seeing the sight of this servant who
- has become accustomed to carrying out
- obligatory and sunnah worship because
- he wants to be close to Allah is as if
- Allah is the one who sees. This means
- that Allah is guarding his sight from
- sinful things. There are always ways to
- make it difficult for him to commit sin
- . There are always ways for Allah to
- protect him, you know. Then the hand
- she uses for her activities is like ee
- as if ee Allah is Allah there. So, how
- does she restrain herself? Here is my
- husband's wallet, like that. There
- isn't much red in it, right?
- Take it? Take it?
- Take it? This need has been met by my
- husband, all no problem. But what is
- this? Well, this is Allah will protect
- her, right. This could be not halal,
- right, even though her needs have been
- met. Especially if it's even excessive.
- But indeed, humans, if they can't
- resist the temptations of Satan who are
- idle, sometimes ah, just grab a few
- pieces, right? Well, Allah will ee
- protect her hands from bad things. In
- fact, this hand, the hand of a mother
- who is said here that ee her hand that
- she uses for doing that, as if Allah is
- with her, is being held back. Don't hit
- your child. Hm. After all, mothers,
- when their emotions are at their peak,
- that's how they do it, whether they are
- conscious or not. Consciously, hitting
- a child is different.
- Can flick, can pinch, what can you do,
- Miss, usually right?
- Rough talk,
- rude talk, right. If the hand can't
- keep still, right? Son, with him close
- to Allah, performing obligatory and
- sunnah worship, Allah protects his
- hands, think first, "Oh Allah, this
- child is poor. Why not, it's not his
- fault, Allah protects his hands. Then
- his feet that he uses to walk, Allah
- protects, Allah protects. He wants to
- go to the neighbor's house to gossip,
- oh there's no time. There are many
- obligations that he wants to fulfill,
- but there's no benefit. Protected by
- Allah." This means that he is protected
- by Allah. Allah always protects him
- from actions that can harm his good
- deeds. Protected because he has carried
- out obligatory and sunnah worship. Yes.
- Then Allah mentions it again in this
- hadith qudsi. "And if he asks me for
- something, I will definitely give it to
- him, and if he asks for my protection,
- I will definitely protect him." So when
- he asks, "Oh Allah, give me patience
- with these extraordinary children,
- super nauzubillah minzalik." That's his
- behavior. Oh Allah, give me patience.
- Allah, give him patience. Oh Allah,
- forgive me with my husband who is my
- model. Allah, give him sincerity. So
- these are my two tips on how a Muslim
- woman can be patient and sincere. The
- second one is to get closer to Allah.
- Well, the way to get closer to Allah is
- by practicing not only the obligatory
- but also the sunnah. Now, if the sunnah
- is difficult, try at least the
- obligatory first. Gradually, the
- process, right? Try to do the
- obligatory on time, on time, don't
- waste time later. Sometimes Satan likes
- to tempt me, sis. He whispers, "God
- gave us time, ee prayer is long,
- meaning there's still time later, it
- doesn't have to be at the beginning of
- the time." This is Satan's temptation,
- because in a hadith the Prophet said
- the deed that is loved by Allah is*
- asalatu fi alqatiha*, praying on time.
- So when the time comes, we pray. So,
- why does Allah give a break, a few
- moments, or how many hours, for that
- long Dhuhr prayer time? To give an
- opportunity to Allah's servants who
- might be in a situation where prayer
- time is approaching, in a place or in a
- situation that makes it impossible to
- pray immediately, like in a vehicle, or
- in a traffic jam. It means that it's
- impossible to give a break. But for us
- Muslim women at home, who are always
- busy at home, right? From the bed, to
- the kitchen, to the well, it's endless.
- Those chores have been cleaned, and
- then they're messy again. There's no
- reason to postpone this prayer. So at
- least first, let's try to cut back when
- we hear the call to prayer. All
- activities are stopped, we pray. Then,
- we start with the sunnah prayers. We
- carry out the sunnah. Patience does
- take time, right? Insyaallah, we can
- achieve it from the first point, we
- have strong intentions and
- determination. Insyaallah, hopefully,
- Allah will help us to be patient and
- sincere. Yes, that's the second point.
- Draw closer to God. The third point, no
- less important, is to associate with
- good people, associate with pious
- communities, and associate with
- environments that can lead us to
- goodness. So, we, as humans, when we
- are in the best communities, God
- willing, can change for the better. But
- if we are in a community or environment
- that forgets God, we will certainly
- forget. At a minimum, if we always
- carry out our obligations, we are in a
- community that perhaps does not uphold
- these obligations, perhaps not praying.
- How will we be affected? We neglect our
- prayers, perhaps busy with karaoke,
- perhaps in an environment that is so
- lively. At least we still pray, but the
- time we usually pray on time can shift,
- which is the influence. So, in order
- for us to have patience and sincerity
- in facing the trials of our daily lives
- in this world as wives or mothers, we
- need a community, we need a good
- environment. Find a good environment.
- Subhanallah. With a good environment,
- good company, God willing, we can
- become patient individuals. Because we
- befriend good people, people who are
- also patient, not people who are angry.
- Hopefully, we can be sincere. In fact,
- we need to emulate when we find one of
- our friends who is patient. Oh God, he
- can do it, I must be able to do it too,
- God willing. For example, Miss, for
- example, in everyday life, we can find
- pious environments. A mother with eight
- children doesn't have a moral. All of
- them...uh, I have a friend, Miss, whose
- children have memorized the Quran, 10
- of them. When she was little, she
- didn't have a moral. I see this person
- as someone who can be imitated,
- emulated. This means that the lives of
- our brothers and sisters in this good
- environment are an inspiration for us
- to follow. Even though we know that the
- only example is the Prophet Muhammad,
- we take the good from him. He can do it
- and he is consistent. So, Miss, at
- sunset, the TV is not on. All the
- children, so if the boys go to the
- mosque, it's a commitment, it's him
- with his husband. The men go to the
- mosque at Maghrib. The mothers, their
- mothers with their daughters at home.
- They pray in congregation at home.
- After that, when they come home at
- Maghrib, there's no TV on. They're all
- doing murajaah, reading the Quran. Well
- , this is extraordinary. We see that,
- it motivates us. Oh God, how many
- children do we only have? The most, now
- two or three at most. Three is a little
- bit too much, right? That's still a
- code, right? Well, this means
- extraordinary, right? So, in this pious
- environment or community, we need to
- learn lessons, emulate, hopefully, his
- patience and sincerity can be
- transmitted to us. But still, the
- example is only from the Prophet. We
- take the good things, okay? So, that's
- hanging out with good people. When we
- hang out with good people, God willing,
- our faith is maintained, our hearts are
- protected. If the environment is good,
- God willing, gossip will not be a habit
- . If the environment is good, people
- are not used to always cursing and
- saying bad words. If the environment is
- good, religious studies, and the people
- are sincere, we will be carried away,
- God willing. Yes, that's the third.
- Then the fourth, of the eight ways for
- Muslim women to be patient and sincere,
- after the first, we straighten our
- intentions, we intend to Allah to be
- given the ability to be patient and
- sincere. Then the second, draw closer
- to Allah by not only performing
- obligatory worship, but also carrying
- out sunnah worship. Third, we associate
- with good people, with a pious
- community that reminds us of Allah. So
- the fourth is we learn wisdom from
- every event. So, in facing the tests of
- life with all its challenges and trials
- , when something happens in our lives,
- we learn from it. Now, by learning
- wisdom from each incident, hopefully we
- can be broad-minded and patient. It's
- natural to be disappointed, right?
- Meaning, for example, someone losing
- money, that's a disaster that befell us
- , right? Let's learn from it, like
- yesterday, when another plane crashed,
- Miss. There was someone who was late,
- just a few minutes. Maybe at that time,
- that person regretted himself. So
- regretful. Why did he end up burned?
- Until this point, that must be it. But
- after he saw the wisdom of what
- happened, oh, it turns out that Allah
- still gives me the blessing of life,
- I'm still given the opportunity to live
- . We learn from what is happening now.
- This means that when we learn from
- every incident, God willing, we will
- definitely get happy things. Well,
- there is something, what is it called?
- For example, how do we see, or do we
- learn from what happened in each
- incident, for example, if we see how
- when we have a child, for example, who
- is involved in drugs, for example, Sis,
- it feels like the parents are really
- shocked. Parents 'feelings are caring.
- But it turns out, this is just an
- example of how we can learn from every
- incident. It turns out that the child
- is unexpectedly affected. We can't just
- scold the child. Let's think about it
- for a moment, what is the silver lining
- ? Oh, it turns out maybe the parents
- are busy, the father is busy, the
- mother is busy, the child's only
- attention is maybe the form of
- affection is only material, right? Take
- the wisdom that exists. So, with
- conditions like this, hopefully both
- parents can improve themselves and
- hopefully their children can also
- become better. Take the wisdom behind
- that. Whatever it is in our lives, God
- willing, we can see the greatest wisdom
- . God willing, in name usri yusro.
- Every time there is something
- difficult, there must be something
- difficult, there must be ease. So, let
- me give another example like this. ee,
- for example, we see the wisdom of the
- pious Salafus in the past, the ee
- people in the past, how the calamities
- that befell them were because they were
- able to take lessons from ee existing
- events, events that existed. They
- turned the disaster no longer into a
- loss, but into an advantage. for
- example, for example, yes. So don't let
- it fall and hit the stairs too. So,
- learn from the calamities that occur.
- For example, the Prophet Muhammad was
- expelled from Mecca to Medina. That was
- a very painful event. The Prophet
- Muhammad was preaching, inviting people
- to believe in Allah. But what did he
- experience? He was expelled, expelled
- in various ways, which means he truly
- experienced extraordinary trials. But
- what happened after that? It turns out
- that the pages of history prove that
- when the Prophet Muhammad was expelled
- from Mecca, he was able to establish a
- nation that fills the pages of history
- with success and brilliance. That's the
- wisdom behind any event or calamity. We
- don't know, right? So, it could be that
- we are currently being struck by a
- calamity. If we endure it patiently and
- sincerely, we will then be able to reap
- the fruits. So, we learn from an event.
- For example, what's it called? His
- child died, for example. Even though it
- was a child he had hoped for. We do
- grieve, we grieve. But we learn from
- this trial. Oh, thank God, this child
- of mine will be the one who will help
- me in the end. When in Padang Mahsyar,
- these children who died when they were
- little, he brought drinks for their
- parents. This is extraordinary.
- Extraordinary. Even though it was a
- very difficult trial at that time, but
- God willing, the trial will surely pass
- . What's the term, Miss? The storm will
- surely pass. Masyaallah, right?
- Song.
- Song, right. Or another example, let's
- look at Ahmad bin Hanbal. He was a
- scholar and pious person. He was
- imprisoned and punished with lashing
- because he didn't want people to
- believe that the Quran was created,
- right? Even though the government at
- that time was an Islamic government,
- you know.
- Yes, it means
- very cruel. But what happened later was
- that he became the leader of the Sunnah
- scholars. He was incredibly glorified
- and respected. So usually people who
- experience these scholars' calamities
- will later produce brilliant works.
- Look at Mrs. Hamka, in prison, she
- managed to write the Tafsir Ahar. Yes,
- there's another example, Ibn Taymiyyah,
- who was also imprisoned. Ibn Taymiyyah
- was imprisoned after he was released
- and became a scholar. Oh, Subhanallah.
- Prison is indeed pleasant, but that's
- where we learn wisdom from an event,
- from an unpleasant event. Or, for
- example, let's look at Ibn Jawzi. I
- think when we talk about Ibn al-Jawzi,
- we're all familiar with him because
- many books have been translated from
- his writings. He was also exiled in
- Baghdad. Well, during his exile, he
- used his time to write tajweed on
- qiraah sabah. So, this means that when
- these scholars experience trials or
- calamities, behind them lies a delayed
- success. After all the trials are gone,
- what emerges is a brilliance and
- extraordinary success that can be
- enjoyed by the next generation. So if
- we experience a calamity because of our
- faith and belief, God willing, after
- that there will definitely be something
- that surprises us from happiness and ee
- that we want, God willing. Or for
- example, there is another inspiring
- story about how we take wisdom from the
- events that occur when we are hit by
- calamities and others. For example,
- Malik bin Raib, he was struck by a
- fever that led to his death. So during
- his illness, he composed a beautiful
- qasidah. So he had a fever. He composed
- a beautiful qasidah that was famous
- among everyone so that ee what is the
- name of his work became ee what is the
- name? It was recognized by the Abbasid
- Caliphate government. So when we have a
- fever, when calamity befalls us, God
- willing, there will definitely be
- something we gain, including our
- brothers and sisters who are struck by
- calamity. God willing, we will take
- wisdom from it. The wisdom is that we
- are the ones who know the wisdom, the
- wisdom is that there are only two
- possibilities for a disaster, like what
- Allah has inflicted on our brothers and
- sisters in Palu, there are only two,
- either punishment or blessing of
- martyrdom. So we are the ones who take
- the wisdom here. If we commit sins,
- Allah will intervene. If we obey Allah
- and remain in faith, God willing, Allah
- will give us the extraordinary gift of
- martyrdom. Many people are happy about
- martyrdom, people are waiting for it,
- you know, Miss. Martyrdom is the
- highest deed. All sins are forgiven,
- extraordinary, yes. This means we no
- longer need to be nervous. We will die
- a husnul khatimah or suul. We will not
- think about that anymore. It's safe,
- it's over, it's at peace. We are the
- ones who are still alive, it's still
- unclear when and how because we don't
- know what our fate will be. Well, this
- means we take wisdom from or take
- lessons from every incident that occurs
- , for example. So, in the Qur'an, Surah
- Al-Baqarah, verse 216, it is explained,
- "Waasa an tuhibbu saian wahua sharul
- lakum." Wallahu y'lamu wa antum laun.
- It may be that you hate something when
- it is better for you. Well, how many is
- that, Miss? The discussion was the
- fifth. The fourth, take wisdom from
- every incident. No, I am indeed patient
- , God willing, I can be patient
- sincerely. But I regret marrying this,
- my current husband. If I had known he
- was like this, I might not have wanted
- to. Ah, that's called not taking wisdom
- from every incident that occurs.
- Even though he said he was patient at
- first. He
- said he was patient at first. Well, we
- take wisdom from this. Why are we
- destined to have a husband like this?
- There must be a lesson. If we had a
- husband who wasn't like this, maybe we
- wouldn't have become like this. Hey, so
- this is indeed a trial and tribulation
- when we talk about marriage. Marriage
- is the longest and longest form of
- worship. It requires extraordinary
- patience and sincerity. Whether we like
- it or not, we accept it; this is a life
- choice. What do we want? Do we want to
- remain patient with conditions like
- this or do we decide immediately;
- marriage is all a choice. What do we
- want? Do we want the reward, do we want
- the many benefits, and have patience?
- After all, life isn't long, it's just a
- short time. That's an example. Or, for
- example, the condition of children when
- we complain about them, "Oh God, this
- child is difficult to manage, why is he
- rebellious, why is he like this?" There
- is a cause and effect. We learn from it
- . Why is this child like this? If it is
- indeed our fault, we just have to
- repent to God. Maybe our parenting
- style was wrong, we set a bad example,
- or we set a bad example. But the
- reality is that now it has turned out
- like this. We just have to pray a lot
- to God. Who knows, one day when we die,
- this child will be the one who will
- pray for us, asking Allah with his
- solemn prayers during the tahajjud at
- night. Oh Allah, forgive my parents.
- Subhanallah. My parents have passed
- away. It's extraordinary, right? Let's
- face what is there. We take the wisdom
- that happens behind this, okay? Or for
- example, losing this car is also a
- disaster, right, Miss? Well, if we lose
- a car, what is the wisdom that we can
- take? The car is lost,
- this is the first new car,
- if I have money, next time I will be
- careful, don't be careless, that's the
- first thing. Then secondly, let's try
- to evaluate whether there is anything
- haram in our wealth. What I mean is,
- are we sure that the sustenance that we
- have been seeking, we obtain, and we eh
- what do we interpret, we eh what is it
- called? We spend it, we are sure that
- it is halal. Now, there are many
- sustenances, Miss, that are not halal,
- Miss. Yes, for example, if you want to
- work, you have to bribe first.
- Well, this is the kind of halal belief.
- Getting promoted involves money, right?
- Children go to schools that have a lot
- of applicants so our children can get
- in, and we give bribes to schools so
- our children can get in. Even though
- there are others who deserve it more.
- Is that not true? Is it halal? Well, we
- can evaluate these things. It could be
- that Allah takes our car in His way to
- purify our wealth. Well, that means
- taking the wisdom in, oh, maybe there's
- something that's not halal, or maybe
- the wealth is halal. Why Allah? Maybe
- He wants to replace it with something
- better. Because in principle,
- sustenance will not decrease. Allah has
- determined the amount of sustenance for
- a servant. When sustenance is taken by
- force, stolen, or theft, that doesn't
- mean our sustenance is reduced. It's
- basically a reduction in its outward
- appearance, but in principle, Allah
- will replace it later. We won't be
- lacking. God willing, our wealth will
- not decrease when it's stolen. Allah
- wants to replace it with something else
- . Well, only Allah knows the form.
- Whether we will be given a healthy,
- devoted, intelligent, pious child, or
- replaced with a job, only God knows. We
- learn from this. God willing, we don't
- need to make this incident a destroyer
- of our faith. Imagine, imagine. So what
- we see is the past, imagine this
- destroys our faith, this is impatience,
- this is insincerity. How can we be
- patient and sincere Muslims if we
- always complain and even blame others.
- See. Especially to the point of going
- to a shaman. There's a neighbor who is
- a psychic. Try asking where his car is?
- Oh, he said where? In Mangga 2, huh.
- Just coming to him is already
- destroying our faith. So, we learn from
- every incident. That's the fourth point
- . Then the fifth is always think
- positively. What does always think
- positively mean? It means we have
- husnuzon (trust in God). We have
- husnuzon (trust in God). Never be
- suspicious. If we have suspicion of God
- , that's what happened. Our title is
- patience and sincerity, right? When we
- talk about patience and sincerity,
- what's actually difficult, Miss, is
- when we are patient in obedience or
- patient in not committing sin. There
- are three kinds of patience. First,
- patience when facing calamities and
- trials. Second, patience in obedience.
- Third, patience in not committing sin.
- That's the hardest. Which of the three?
- Which is the hardest? They're
- all hard.
- Patience in obedience. Yes, to obey we
- must be patient. It seems like patience
- , God willing, we can do it. Obeying is
- indeed difficult, but God willing, it
- means that people have different levels
- of faith. The one who doesn't wear a
- hijab and then tries to obey Allah's
- commands. She must be patient with what
- people say. What do you hear? The
- chatter of people who don't like that
- is also patience. Well, patience in
- obedience. Well, patience in not
- committing sin. For example, the
- Prophet Joseph. Prophet Yusuf with his
- youthful soul, with the passion of
- human lust, was then tempted by a woman
- , Aziz's wife. When her room was locked
- , he tried to seduce her. Well, that
- was a
- heavy trial too. If not, Allah wouldn't
- have shown it. So if he didn't see
- Burhan, what would he call it? Allah
- gave him the strength of faith, he
- would have been tempted. This was
- overflowing lust. This beautiful woman,
- no one else, was tempted, subhanallah,
- fahamma biha, huh. Hey, I almost got
- tempted. If it weren't for Burhan from
- Allah, and protection from Allah, maybe
- it would have been nauzubillah. That
- also requires patience. Patience to
- refrain from sinning, huh. Third,
- patience during calamities. Well, these
- three are the hard ones, all depending
- on the form. Well, it's up to us as
- servants of Allah when carrying this
- out, can we be patient? Patience means,
- can we have a high positive attitude
- towards Allah? It means, maybe Allah
- wants to test me because he wants to
- increase, or elevate my status. So
- don't think negatively of Allah. So, we
- need to think positively. When we
- encounter a trial or calamity, we
- immediately hope that this will be the
- best part of our lives. Don't be
- suspicious. If we are suspicious of
- Allah, we will experience a calamity.
- The most severe calamity was the
- calamity of Prophet Job, whether he was
- sick or
- not. He was sick
- before
- his wealth was gone.
- Then his children died. Allah is
- extraordinary, his whole body was sick,
- only his tongue and heart were healthy
- so he could remember Allah. In fact,
- his whole body was in disarray, very
- sick, his wealth was gone, and his
- children died. But let's see how
- positive thinking Prophet Job was. This
- means that we are trying to get this,
- we see how Allah replaced everything as
- a result. All of that makes us think
- positively about Allah. That's why, "
- Ana 'indadon' abdi" bih, I depend on my
- assumptions, if I really think badly,
- that's what happened. Why has life been
- so difficult since I got married? Maybe
- this husband brings bad luck. Well,
- that's how it is. I really think he's
- unlucky.
- So we need to be in a position of
- thinking about Allah. Well, this is
- from ee five, right, Miss.
- Let's take a break first.
- Okay, out of the eight, there are five
- that Ustazah has explained about eight
- ways to be a patient and sincere
- Muslimah. First, straighten your
- intentions. Second, continue to draw
- closer to Allah, especially ee
- prioritize the obligatory. Then, ee
- istikamah carry out the sunnah. Third,
- associate with good people. Fourth,
- take wisdom from every incident. And
- fifth, always think positively. There
- are still three more, brothers and
- sisters. So we hope that brothers and
- sisters will remain with us. Later we
- will take a break and I will also
- invite brothers and sisters. Come on,
- please convey your complaints to the
- number I read and the number SMS and WA
- 08111999 720 only for SMS and WA, no
- phone calls because they will not be
- answered. For those who want to call or
- speak directly with Ustazah, please
- contact us at 021 845 1512. We will
- return after the following nasyid. Rada
- Silaturahim Rasil TV Ikhwan and Ahwat
- for one Islam. This time we are
- listening to women's fiqh with Ustazah
- Herlini Amran with an incredibly
- interesting and important theme for us
- to pay attention to, namely eight ways
- to be a patient and sincere Muslim
- woman. Ustazah has already conveyed
- five ways. We will look at the
- remaining three, Ustazah. Tafadul
- Ustazah,
- yes. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. The
- sixth is understanding the essence of
- life. Yes, actually, the order is not
- necessary. The order is just looking
- for which ones are not part of it, but
- for intention, it is important.
- Well, for intention, it is indeed at
- the beginning, before we do good deeds,
- intention comes first. Well, this sixth
- is understanding the essence of life.
- Understanding the purpose of our life.
- What is the purpose of life?
- We are indeed in this world forever. We
- are in this world, whether we like it
- or not, in the end, we end up doing
- what we want. Usually, people who don't
- understand the essence of life, don't
- understand the purpose of life, the
- world is everything to them. They even
- have the heart to ignore God's commands
- because they think they are unimportant
- . Basically, if there is no money there
- , no material things, they won't do it.
- That's a person who has no purpose in
- life.
- If someone doesn't have a purpose in
- life, how is he different from an
- animal? Yes, look at the chickens that
- wake up in the morning, go out to look
- for sustenance, find food, and go home
- to sleep. Well, if a human being is
- like that, go out to work to earn money
- to support his family, and that's it,
- what is the purpose of life? So it's
- really very important for us to
- understand the purpose of life. What is
- the purpose of life? Where is he going?
- We have been living for a long time, O
- God, this is truly extraordinary. If
- someone forgets the purpose of life, he
- will definitely hold on to the world
- very tightly. He doesn't want to lose,
- he doesn't want to give in, he really
- doesn't want to. In the end, everything
- is easy for him. So when he's like this
- , for example, he has no empathy for
- people, he will do anything he can to
- get as much profit as possible, no
- matter what. He's not afraid of Allah.
- People who don't understand the essence
- of life don't fear Allah. He's attacked
- because Allah doesn't see him. He's
- only afraid of the people who see him.
- Well, that's a matter of the foundation
- of faith. So, what it means is that
- when we talk about understanding the
- essence of life, we're actually talking
- about faith, the pillars of faith.
- There are six pillars of faith, right?
- This means that when we talk about the
- pillars of faith, God willing, we will
- understand the purpose of our lives. We
- once discussed how many phases of human
- life are there? There are six. This
- means that humans have six phases of
- life. The first realm is the realm of
- the spirit, the realm of the soul,
- which we have already passed. Then the
- realm of the womb is also in the realm
- of the spirit, are we aware of it? Not
- aware. But we have been asked to
- declare our shahada to Allah. Bearing
- witness alastuikum quala. We've been
- through it, but we don't remember it
- because there wasn't sophisticated
- technology to record it all except the
- womb. Yes, we used to believe that we
- had experienced it in our mother's womb
- , but what did we know? Because now
- technology has developed, how does a
- fetus meet, sperm, and egg cells
- develop, and so on? We've passed.
- That's only the third phase in the
- worldly realm. We're in the third phase
- , and the journey is certainly long,
- there are still three more. The realm
- of Barzakh, then the Day of Judgment,
- and the sixth is our determination
- because this is an eternal day. Heaven
- or hell? So the journey is still long.
- So when we know the essence of life,
- we're only in the third phase. What are
- we looking for in this world? What's
- the use of the wealth we seek by all
- means, rank and all that if it's not in
- accordance with Allah's path? Well,
- then we understand the essence of life.
- People who understand the essence of
- life, God willing, will be patient and
- sincere. No matter how much she suffers
- , whether it's being wronged, hurt
- between siblings, or a husband
- oppressing his wife, when she knows the
- reality of life, she will accept it
- patiently and sincerely. Life in this
- world is not forever, while Allah will
- surely repay those who do wrong. It's
- finished, meaning life becomes easy.
- Just as it was easy for the companions
- when they understood the reality of
- life when they faced trials and
- tribulations. There was a black woman
- with epilepsy who asked to be healed
- because the Prophet's prayer could
- definitely cure her. It was answered.
- The Prophet just gave her a choice. Do
- you want to remain sick but be patient
- or if you remain sick, be patient, then
- paradise will be yours. The reckoning
- will be lightened, or I will pray for
- you to recover. Which one do you choose
- ? Of course, if someone understands the
- reality of life, they will definitely
- choose. It's okay if I'm sick, I'll be
- patient, as long as I go to paradise.
- That's how it is. But someone who
- doesn't understand the reality of life,
- doesn't know the purpose of life,
- surely thinks that in this world, the
- important thing is to be healthy, the
- important thing is to be beautiful,
- right? Well, we see this is what
- happens. How can we be patient and
- sincere if our orientation is worldly?
- If our orientation is solely to gain
- praise from others, just prestige.
- Prestige is only for the sake of praise
- from others, that's all. So when we
- talk about patience and sincerity, make
- sure we have a purpose in life, we
- understand the essence of life. Yes,
- this is life, right? What else can we
- do? There are only two lives. If you
- are not patient, be grateful. If you
- are not grateful, be patient. There are
- no more, Miss. Yes,
- only two. And those two are in heaven.
- Those two are easy to say, but
- difficult to implement. And it takes a
- lifelong process to be grateful and
- patient. Yes, we are grateful for what
- we get. So, that means, uh, the clerics
- of the past, Miss, how did they define
- gratitude when a trial had befallen
- them, their house was burned down,
- their bodies were sick. Then when they
- ate, they were still able to eat, thank
- God. People are confused, even though
- you have been hit by such a heavy
- disaster, you are still grateful as
- long as you can still eat smoothly,
- that is a gift from Allah. The others
- are just that, that's just transitory,
- that can also be replaced, Sis. It
- means that the test that Allah gives is
- not much. If it's a serious test of
- faith, right? The test of religion is
- if we are not strong, nauzubillah right
- ? So that's the fifth one, namely how
- we can understand the essence of life.
- What is the purpose of our life, but
- hopefully, Sis, don't be idle talk, Sis
- . What does idle talk mean? Just
- talking like that. When we know, yes,
- we know the purpose of our life is to
- seek Allah's pleasure. We know the
- purpose of our life in the hereafter,
- but when given a test, what He said is
- not reflected in his practice. Because
- if we talk, it's very easy, right? So
- hopefully, by understanding the essence
- of this life, we can be stronger, more
- resilient in facing every test and
- trial. Insyaallah, it's not just words,
- but also ee we can implement it with
- actions, insyaallah. That's the
- sixth one.
- Six. The seventh one, I believe that if
- we can control and manage our anger,
- then Paradise will be ours. In the
- hadith, eh la tagdob wakal jannah.
- Don't be angry, heaven is yours. It
- means that anger is only for trivial
- matters, so there's no need to be
- excessive. Except when our faith is
- disturbed. If the honor of Muslims, our
- prophet, is insulted, then we should be
- angry. But in everyday life, anger is
- related to personal matters, right? We
- need a lot of patience. Uh, patience
- and sincerity can calm the heart. But
- sometimes anger is like this, right,
- Miss, for example, there was a mother,
- Miss, there was an incident in Saudi,
- it was said that the mother was angry
- with her child because she broke
- something expensive, it was destroyed.
- So because she was so angry, your body
- was destroyed too. Like that.
- Your body was destroyed, that means
- because of that anger. It turns out
- that after 25 years, Allah answered her
- wish. So her child is a graduate. Well,
- he works for his father, who owns a
- property. Well, when he was about to
- get married, he was on his father's
- property, where, what, uh, the wall of
- the building collapsed on him, so it
- was destroyed. When she was at the
- hospital, her mother was called and saw
- what she had said, "Yes, your body is
- destroyed." So, it means be careful,
- this is something that is destroyed,
- even though it is expensive in worldly
- terms, it is a valuable item, but this
- was done by a child, it was not
- intentional. It means don't overdo it.
- If you are too angry, what will be the
- consequences, will you regret it? So,
- it means anger should be appropriate.
- It does exist, even imagine, there are
- mothers who are angry with their
- children to the point of being locked
- up, even tied up, oh my God, this is
- truly sad. And indeed, to be able to
- train this anger, we just need to
- remember la taqdob wakal jannah.
- Keeping our anger from being excessive.
- There are rules, right? If you are
- standing, change to sitting, still do
- ablution, then ablution, then sit, then
- still take it to bed, then take it to
- bed, so that your anger doesn't get to
- the top of your head. Well, at least
- from a health perspective, angry people
- can make you age quickly and become
- sick. This means that people who are
- always angry will gradually age.
- Anything that makes you angry, anything
- that makes you angry. Yes, what is
- there to be angry about? Yes, sometimes
- we are like this, for example, on the
- way, Miss, you are driving and there is
- a traffic jam on the road. There are
- people who weave in and out, people who
- are unable to control their anger
- sometimes say bad words. Oh God, what
- is the benefit for us if, for example,
- we are crossed by someone and then we
- say things like, "mar" and hit them
- until we say "astagfirullahalazim". If
- we can be a little patient, we can
- empathize. Oh, maybe he has to go to
- the toilet, poor thing. That's to calm
- his heart or if cars overtake here and
- there, oh, maybe his wife is about to
- give birth, that means never mind,
- there's no point in us getting angry
- because people don't listen, they don't
- know them, they don't
- know them. So, here we start to train
- our anger. But, this is sometimes a
- parenting style, Miss. That means, the
- child can imitate that from their
- parents. Maybe a child who is fierce to
- his younger sibling may have seen his
- parents being fierce to him, like
- hitting him. So, it really comes back
- to parenting. It used to be, now that
- we're adults, we have reason, we have
- thoughts, we need to break the chain.
- We are also creatures who have been
- given reason by Allah. Don't imitate
- bad things. Don't blame it all on your
- parents. It's because of something, it
- can't be used as an argument. Well,
- let's look at the Prophet Muhammad (
- peace and blessings be upon him). Allah
- brought him to a place where everyone
- had their own character and nature, but
- the Prophet Muhammad, through the
- guidance of revelation, was able to
- transform into a person of noble
- character. That's why the Prophet
- Muhammad was sent as an initial
- morality to improve human morality.
- Temperamental morality can become
- patient, it can be trained. So don't
- use it as an excuse because your
- parents made you stubborn. No. That
- person, God willing, can be patient,
- God willing. Hopefully. That's the
- seventh. The last of the eight. So,
- eight ways to become a patient and
- sincere Muslim woman. Lastly, we
- believe that every deed will be
- rewarded by Allah. So, this is to train
- patience and sincerity. Sometimes, some
- people may feel like my life has been
- miserable from the past until now. My
- life is full of sorrow. There are
- trials, all of
- life, being an orphan, being poor. Many
- people are probably like that. I was
- wronged, got a husband, was wronged
- again. My parents were abandoned, my
- parents—ah, there are probably many.
- Well, we believe that all our deeds
- will be rewarded by Allah. So, to train
- ourselves to be patient and sincere, we
- believe that Allah is all-just. All
- human actions will certainly be
- rewarded. No sin escapes Allah's
- reckoning. Therefore, we don't need to
- tire ourselves out torturing ourselves.
- How do I repay that person? Yes, they
- have wronged me, I must repay. We don't
- need to tire ourselves out, we don't
- need to think about that person, just
- leave it to Allah. Yes, when we
- surrender everything to Allah, Allah is
- the most just judge. Knowing what is
- right and what is wrong, that's how it
- is. For example, if we are wronged
- while trading, or someone takes our
- property, then whatever we do, leave it
- to Allah. Allah will repay us. So, once
- again, the last eighth point is how we
- can become patient and sincere Muslims.
- We believe that all our deeds will be
- rewarded by Allah. Whoever sows, he
- will reap. This means, God willing,
- when we are wronged, God will leave it
- to Allah. Allah will repay the matter
- with Him. Yes. So, with this, we
- believe that everything has been
- determined by Allah. Hopefully, we hope
- and pray to Allah to become patient and
- sincere Muslims. Pray a lot too.
- Allahumma ja'alni syakuron wa'alni
- shuran. O Allah, make me Your patient
- servant, Your grateful servant. O Allah
- , forgive me in every deed and so on.
- Hopefully, we all become patient and
- sincere Muslims.
- Amen. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds. Okay,
- Ustazah. The eight methods have been
- revealed. That's it. Alhamdulillah.
- That's
- the key, yes. Hold on to it well, and
- it seems we'll go straight to the
- questions and answers. Ustazah,
- remembering that the time is
- approaching, the end of time. Uh, we'll
- start with this first question from Ibu
- Darma, Ustazah. Peace be upon you. And
- peace be upon
- you.
- Ibu Darma is in Bekasi. Ustazah asked,
- "I have a little problem, Ustazah, with
- my brother-in-law. It was just because
- of a trivial matter, actually, before
- the fasting month, my biological
- brother went to Jakarta on duty and
- then stopped by my house. His wife was
- not happy. Even though my brother meant
- that instead of staying at a hotel, it
- would be better to visit his sister who
- was not far from her duty. Well, since
- then my brother's wife has been angry
- with me. Should I go ahead or contact
- me WA never replied and now they even
- changed their cellphone number. Ustazah
- , please enlighten me. Oh, this is
- quite strange between brother and
- sister. Then brother-in-law, I mean,
- brother going to my sister's house is
- normal, yes, staying overnight is
- normal. But what is not normal is what
- the brother-in-law responded to with ee
- attitude that we try to see first,
- maybe there is a reason and problem
- like that. If it is not related, maybe
- maybe the wife ee brother-in-law is
- jealous, maybe. Because the
- brother-in-law could help ee or her
- husband help her sister. Maybe we also
- don't know what the problem is. But in
- this case, Ma'am, because ee you feel
- this is my brother, why is my
- brother-in-law So that's it. Is it the
- mother who is the first to do good? Do
- it, mother. God willing, whoever does
- good first will be the one who receives
- the reward from Allah, the multiplied
- goodness. So when someone breaks off
- relations even though the one who is
- wrong is someone else. So what I mean
- is, when that person breaks off
- relations with us, we try to reconnect,
- that's an extraordinary reward. Even
- though it's not our fault. The one who
- is wrong is that person. That's an
- extraordinary reward. So,
- ee, do it for Allah, not for anyone
- else. He. So, let's not worry about our
- prestige, let's just be sure that
- whoever reconnects with us will have
- abundant sustenance, that Allah will
- give him mercy, and his prayers will be
- answered. That's all, don't be the same
- , okay, Mrs. Darma. If we are the same,
- what's the difference between us and
- him? If he does bad things, then he
- does bad things, that's just him. If we
- want to be good people, then we should
- be the first to reconnect with him. God
- willing.
- He surely knows where he lives, right,
- Mom? Darma. No, sister. So even if you
- change your phone number, there's no
- problem looking for it. No.
- Actually, your sister is still
- connected, just ask her.
- There are lots of tips, Mrs. Darma. God
- willing, your relationship will improve
- . I'll move on to the next question,
- Ustazah, from Mrs. Sofiatun in Munjul.
- Ustazah, peace be upon you, Ustazah.
- And peace be upon you, Ustazah. It's
- true, Ustazah, that's what I felt when
- I fixed the prayer problem. Both in
- terms of time, understanding the
- readings, and the best clothing for
- prayer. Subhanallah, my life is now
- happy and calmer in facing any problem.
- Masyaallah. Alhamdulillah. You
- also pay attention to your clothes,
- Ustazah.
- Yes. Yes. It's normal. So, when we face
- Allah, is it appropriate for us to face
- Allah in our mediocre clothes?
- Sometimes it might just be inside out,
- wrinkled. Never mind facing the
- president or governor, facing Even the
- head of the neighborhood association (
- RT) is embarrassed to wear clothes that
- are not ironed, inside out. How can we
- approach Allah with such mediocrity?
- Nauzubillah minzalik. This is Allah,
- the ruler of the universe, where we
- depend on Him. We pray, hope only to
- Him, we worship. How can we approach
- Allah with our mukena sometimes not
- washed, Miss? It already smells, and
- what else is inappropriate? Well, when
- we start from ourselves that Allah is
- the place where we worship, praise, and
- worship, we will definitely try to
- appear good. Before facing Allah, we
- should look in the mirror first. Why
- look in the mirror? Yes, just face the
- front. Going out and going to the
- mirror, maybe just go to the shop first
- , Miss.
- It means that people who have nothing
- mess up. Why should we invite Allah?
- Look first, is her clothes really
- visible? Is her private parts visible,
- is her hair sticking out? Is her
- clothes thin? This is roughly what ee
- what if we mess up, it looks oh no,
- it's not inside out, want That's it. So
- we need to be worthy of Allah because
- we expect His mercy, His blessings, we
- expect His sustenance, everything is in
- Allah's hands, right? Search the heart
- first, we seek Allah's face first by
- doing our best. And the proof is that
- you, who is that mother, Miss? ee
- earlier, Mrs. Sofiatun appeared.
- Subhanallah, you feel it. So, God
- willing, whoever you are, listeners and
- viewers, if we start with the intention
- of doing it for Allah with a good
- appearance, God willing, Allah will
- give us whatever we want, God willing.
- Thank you, Ibuatun.
- God will make everything easy, God
- willing. So, hopefully, what Mrs.
- Sofiatun feels can be felt by others.
- God willing.
- Amen. Amen. Caller ee Mas Yusuf Duren
- Kita. Asalamualaikum. Asalamualaikum.
- Still? Well, I apologize, it seems like
- it might have taken too long. We
- apologize if the connection was then
- cut off. Hopefully, you can try again.
- And for now, I will move on to the next
- question from ee, just a moment, Mrs.
- Liza asked," Asalamualaikum
- warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Ustazah. "
- Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- Please advise, Ustazah, how can we
- remain steadfast in patience and
- sincerity in all things, Ustazah so
- that we do not waver easily.
- Yes, actually the method that we
- discussed earlier is how to be patient
- and sincere. Now, how can we remain
- steadfast? Yes, just strengthen your
- intention and renew it. Then continue
- to get closer to Allah. Seek Allah's
- face, yes. Seeking Allah's face is fine
- . How can we get closer to Allah? Doing
- sunnah deeds. Then there is qiyamulail,
- reading the Quran, saum sunnah,
- basically the sunnah things. Then we
- pray to Allah to be given steadfastness
- . Allahummarzuqnal istiqomah is that's
- the prayer. O Allah, we are
- steadfastness or the prayer of Allahum
- ya muqbalubik. Basically, everything we
- do is our dependence on Allah, our
- reliance on Allah, our hope in Allah,
- everything is only for Allah. Please
- help. God willing, hopefully Allah will
- give us help. God willing.
- God willing. Amen. And ee next from
- 0853 1123 and so on. ee servant of
- Allah ustazah asked ee my husband has
- not worked as a ustazah for years. I
- have tried to be patient and sincere
- but it seems like I am angry because he
- wants to be served and doesn't want to
- share the work. I have, I have talked
- to him nicely but he is lazy. But when
- I am angry, he just keeps quiet,
- doesn't joke, doesn't chat. How is that
- , Ustazah?
- Masyaallah.
- Sorry for being late reading,
- Well, so it's like this. This is an
- incident that this servant of Allah has
- actually probably been experienced by
- many wives, wives just maybe don't ask.
- So, when our husband doesn't work then
- everything comes from the wife, maybe
- ee it's said maybe the wife works, the
- wife helps ee support. This could be a
- misunderstanding in the husband's
- understanding, yes. Because ee as ee
- because not equipped by religion, maybe
- or maybe there are examples from their
- families who rely on their wives, you
- know, Miss. There is this, Miss, what
- is the question the teacher asks his
- female students," What do you want to
- be? "" I want to be this, this, this. "
- Basically, all the difficult things
- were asked, eh, what will your male
- students become? So her husband, like
- that. So what can this be called? Ee
- mindset, huh. So, ah, look for a wife
- who is already established, huh. But if
- we understand Islam, it's not like that
- . It means that a man is in his hands,
- the obligation to provide for his
- family. Well, her husband hasn't worked
- for years. This needs to be seen why
- that is. There are reasons, first,
- perhaps the desire is not strong
- because he feels comfortable like that.
- The comfort of ee what ee being treated
- or given by his wife, huh. So, it's
- enough,
- enough. So, in the end, he doesn't want
- to try anymore and then doesn't want to
- share. This is probably because you are
- so patient and pamper yourself, huh. So
- , what about this condition, ma'am?
- Life is a choice. Hm. Which one do you
- choose? If this condition continues, I
- think what will you do? Just stay quiet
- , tired and annoyed, comfortable like
- that, please. But don't forget, ma'am.
- Be sincere for Allah. If you are not
- sincere, you won't get anything, ma'am.
- When you are sincere, you who Providing
- for the needs of the family is a reward
- for charity. This means there are two
- rewards, such as what happened during
- the time of the Prophet, Zainab, his
- wife Ibn Mas'ud. Ibn Mas'ud was indeed
- one of those who sought something that
- wasn't, this is a bit difficult, he was
- busy preaching. Meanwhile, his wife was
- creative. She opened a home industry at
- home until she made a living. Now, when
- she wanted to, in the hadith, was it
- mentioned as zakat or charity? Is it
- permissible to give zakat to her
- husband because her husband didn't
- provide for her? I wanted to ask the
- Prophet, but he was embarrassed.
- Finally, Bilal asked. Then the Prophet
- said," The Prophet, apparently knows, "
- Oh, her, Zainab. Tell him, laha ajron
- marattain." Oh, he gets two rewards.
- The reward of giving charity and the
- reward of maintaining ties of kinship.
- That means, why is the reward of
- maintaining ties of kinship here? From
- a fiqh perspective, a wife can ask for
- a divorce when her husband doesn't
- provide for her. That's allowed. Right?
- Isn't providing for her husband's
- obligation? It's the husband's
- obligation to provide for her. Now,
- when a wife doesn't get her rights
- because her husband doesn't fulfill his
- obligations, she can do whatever she
- wants in this household. It's better to
- just break up, rather than not, this is
- allowed. But he doesn't want this
- Zainab. He wants this, my husband is a
- good person, he preaches, his morals
- and his religion are beyond doubt. I've
- been patient. He gets two rewards. Now,
- being a mother in a condition like this
- , if you persist, you have to intend
- everything for Allah. Pray, pray hard,
- "O Allah, give my husband guidance, O
- Allah, so he realizes that." Because
- after being talked to, there's no way
- what else can be done. Well, then later
- he asked to be served. This is really
- too much, isn't it, Ma'am,
- Ustazah.
- It means this person wants something or
- other, right? Yes, you can be firm,
- meaning you still have to do it in a
- good way, right? It means, ee, if you
- have accepted your husband who doesn't
- provide for you, then whether you like
- it or not, you have to fulfill your
- obligations. Whether you want it, it's
- your choice, right, or you have to try
- to find a third person. The third
- person might be from your family, right
- , Ma'am. Usually, when we wives confide
- in our husbands 'families, they usually
- give us input, right? Don't confide in
- our families about our husbands, or our
- families will tell you to divorce them,
- right? That's not a solution, right? I
- came, maybe my husband's family asked
- me how I can make my husband have a
- good work ethic or at least not be
- spoiled like that. So that's it, Ma'am.
- This life is a choice, Ma'am, you can
- live a condition like this sincerely
- for the sake of Allah. You will have
- multiple rewards, God willing, every
- day. Continually giving alms like that.
- The rewards are extraordinary. So it
- can be a choice, or if, for example,
- the mother chooses to separate, that's
- also not good for the children, right,
- Miss? Try to see what goodness your
- husband has. Sometimes we wives only
- see our husbands' shortcomings. When
- we're emotional, when we're angry, our
- husbands are all bad. But when we're
- calm, we're sane, Miss. When we're
- conscious, when we're in good condition
- , we can say, "Oh, yes, my husband is
- still good, he takes care of the
- children, he's still patient and
- willing to take them." At least there's
- a motorcycle taxi that's on standby
- every day to deliver, that means it's
- better than other people. Okay, what's
- the point? These are poor children, he
- still loves them, he can still teach
- them. Take the positive, don't remember
- the bad. Hopefully, this way we can
- face life patiently. Ask Allah to give
- us the strength to face it and give it,
- ask, "O Allah, I ask for a multiplied
- reward, O Allah, with this, with
- everything," and intend that every time
- we spend our money to buy a house, pay
- for our children's tuition, that is the
- intention of charity. O Allah, this is
- my charity. If necessary, the intention
- is because if there are parents who
- have passed away, "O Allah, I intend
- that the reward reaches my parents, O
- Allah." Bismillah. That's it, Sis. So,
- there is no day without worship. God
- willing,
- God willing,
- everything will be full of goodness.
- God willing.
- God willing. Amen. Good. I hope you
- will be strengthened in your field of
- charity from your husband. God willing,
- Mom. I'll read that there is still a
- chance Ustazah, OK? One more thing.
- Asalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh, Ustazah. Waalaikumsalam
- warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. It's
- a bit long, Ustazah from the servant of
- Allah, I was planning to divorce. So,
- not only was my husband not working,
- but he also had an affair with my
- husband repent. God willing. Please
- pray wearing the hijab, I have already
- made up my mind to change myself and be
- on his path. But my husband remains the
- same, Ustazah. I have explained it to
- him, but he encourages me, Ustazah. I
- want a divorce, but I already have
- three children, Ustazah. If I continue
- to divorce, will Allah hate me? As
- Allah said in a letter that I forgot,
- Ustazah.
- Hey, what was her name? Servant of
- Allah, Ustaz.
- Servant of Allah. So, this is it,
- ee, the desire for divorce is because
- the husband's condition is still not
- compatible, not the same, well,
- life is a choice. There is indeed a
- hadith of a woman who asks for a
- divorce, huluk yes suing her husband
- for divorce, asking for a divorce will
- not smell the scent of heaven. Well,
- let's see what the reason is. This was
- seen first, ee, her husband ee, yes, it
- is fate, it is already in the past, yes
- . But let's see now, Ma'am. Ee, is the
- husband still responsible for the
- family, with the mother and children?
- That is necessary, yes, one, is
- responsible in the sense of providing
- for them. Then secondly, This mother
- who has migrated and has covered her
- aurat, is her husband allowing her to
- do so, or is he hindered or permitted?
- Yes, that's the second one. This means
- that you were given the freedom to
- migrate, to realize your past mistakes.
- This is a question that you need to
- answer yourself. Third, when you chose
- to migrate, ee ee I mean, was your
- husband responsible for the children
- with ee attention or meaning,
- right, we don't know whether your
- husband is a good father to his
- children. Meaning he is very attentive
- to his children. I'm worried that if
- you choose to divorce, your children
- will lose their figure. This means that
- this needs to be considered. Then,
- fourth, when you choose to divorce, who
- will marry your children? Do you have
- an income or not? So this is a question
- because ee what I asked wasn't
- explained, at least I gave you what you
- call ee options. He. The
- first option, if you have the intention
- to divorce, you believe that your
- condition will be better than your
- current condition. That's one, right?
- Then second, if you choose to divorce,
- will your children Will it be possible
- to be good? Meaning that their food,
- clothing, and shelter are met, meaning
- their education. Right? There are
- people who choose to be single parents
- because they work, right? But is that a
- solution for children who need a father
- figure? Then thirdly, the husband's
- affair, is it remarriage or adultery?
- This also needs to be explained because
- the definition of cheating is still
- unclear. If you observe, Mbak Olin, is
- cheating adultery or remarriage?
- Adultery.
- Adultery.
- He, cheating means doing it secretly
- because he is worried
- that there is
- something bad going on.
- Because there are also those who think
- that by saying cheating, he has an
- underhand marriage. Hm. A secret
- marriage. A
- secret marriage. A secret marriage is
- actually valid according to sharia law.
- So is it called seliwer?
- Sliwer.
- Yes, this means ee, meaning a more
- explicit explanation. Cheating means
- adultery. If your husband commits
- adultery, then that is not good for the
- household to be united. It means they
- will not meet. between faith and sin.
- Then what, Mother, can you, ee, do you
- think, with the guidance that Allah has
- given you, bring a husband? This means
- that you are determined, trying to make
- your husband follow your path one day.
- Because a husband, ee, if he does it in
- a good way, the gentleness of a wife,
- God willing, can follow the level of
- his way. Let's look at, for example,
- Asia, ee, Asia, Pharaoh's wife, for
- example. Pharaoh's husband claimed to
- be God, but with her gentleness, Asia
- managed to negate a very dangerous
- decision. Pharaoh's decision was that
- if a baby boy was born this year, he
- was to be killed. That was a decision
- that could not be refused. But with
- Asia's gentleness, you could kill the
- Prophet Moses, no, no, no. So, this
- means that your husband is not Pharaoh,
- not Pharaoh. Nauzubillah minzalik. Of
- course he can. ee, we, ee, mean, you
- have the hope that your husband will
- one day follow what you have done now,
- migrate. If you have an on-mission, for
- example, ee, you are determined, I
- don't Whether we want to or not, we
- will divorce our husband. I want my
- husband to follow my path. How
- wonderful it is that we have received
- guidance. I want to. Now, when you have
- a desire to attract your husband, of
- course you have good, gentle methods.
- Don't force him. So treat your husband
- like a foster child or a student or
- something like that. We even tell other
- people, why not your husband? Poor
- husband. Now, you are the one who knows
- how to soften and win your husband's
- heart with gentleness. So don't think
- that if your husband gets angry or if
- we get angry, we won't meet. Instead,
- it's through a process. Yes, if the
- choice I mentioned earlier is not to
- divorce yet, but to try to see if your
- husband can follow you? It takes years.
- This means that when a wife is patient,
- like Asiah was when she faced Pharaoh,
- she tries to pull her husband from bad
- friends and environment to a good one.
- It takes a process. How? With
- gentleness, with what? Giving him what
- he needs. Yes right? If I ever, Mbak ee
- Mbak Olin, maybe you still remember me
- comparing a husband to a baby with a
- beard, Mbak? Still remember, Mbak?
- Forgot, Ustazah.
- Forgot huh? Like a baby with a beard.
- What I mean is,
- like a small child but already old.
- Heeh.
- It cries.
- If anything happens, it cries. Well, a
- wife knows her baby's needs, right? If
- he's hungry, he's fed, if he's wet,
- he's changed. Basically, all those good
- needs, if he's been met, he'll be quiet
- , right? He.
- Well, if he's quiet, we want to turn
- him back and forth, want to lift his
- legs, want to dress him, he'll laugh
- happily even though we're doing it like
- that. It's like that, right? It's like
- B with a beard, right? Fulfill his
- needs, we satisfy him. We serve what he
- wants. Later, when he's like this,
- he'll definitely follow us. He feels, "
- Oh, it turns out my wife is better
- after she changed into wearing the
- hijab, she's better, she serves him
- better, it turns out." Well, this is
- extraordinary, right? There is this,
- there is a certain pleasure, yes, when
- you see your husband has started to
- follow us, following our invitation to
- go on Umrah together, for example.
- Hopefully, God willing, this is all
- with God's help if we, eh, if you want
- to be patient, meaning you save your
- husband from the abyss of hellfire,
- this will be an extraordinary reward.
- Yes, that's if you really want to, if
- you want to divorce, there's no problem
- . That means it's a choice, yes. So
- everything is up to you, yes. You want
- to get a big reward or it's over, yes.
- And the future is also unknown, yes,
- whether it's best for you to separate,
- God willing,
- for the questioner. Yes, that's the
- last question, Ustazah. Ee, please
- conclude our theme today.
- Listeners and viewers of Rasul TV,
- blessed by Allah. We as Muslim women,
- whether our position as a mother or a
- wife requires patience and sincerity.
- This patience and sincerity are things
- that need to be worked on and require a
- process and that is indeed It's not
- easy. Well, with these eight ways,
- among them, we must strengthen our
- intentions to draw closer to Allah
- through all our acts of worship.
- Associate with good people. We take
- wisdom from every event and incident.
- Then, we, among them, the last one, is
- how we believe that, among them, we
- understand the essence of our lives,
- know our purpose in life, and lastly,
- Allah will reward all that we do. This
- means we don't need to tire ourselves
- out trying to please others. We
- surrender everything to Allah. And
- hopefully, with this surrender, this
- faith, and our acceptance of destiny,
- may Allah grant us patience and
- sincerity. Continue to pray for all of
- us Muslim women, including me, Mbak
- Olin, all of us pray for each other
- that we are given patience, given
- sincerity, and that we are able to face
- life in this world which is full of
- trials and challenges. May we succeed
- and gather together in Paradise, God
- willing. Astagfirullahakum. Peace be
- upon you warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
