O Allah, 2:39 send prayers, peace, and blessings upon 2:41 Muhammad and upon the family of 2:42 Muhammad, and so on. To the radio 2:48 listeners and Rasil TV viewers who are 2:53 honored by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 2:59 First of all, let us offer our praises 3:01 and gratitude to the presence of Allah 3:04 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. May prayers and 3:09 peace be granted by Allah to our master 3:12 , the Messenger of Allah Muhammad 3:15 sallallahu alaihi wasallam, his family, 3:18 his companions, and to all of us. Amin 3:21 ya rabbal alamin. We will still discuss 3:34 the footsteps of Satan or the 3:35 deceptions of Satan. Because it is 3:41 important for us to know this so that 3:47 when we perform an action, then we will 3:54 be trapped by the footsteps of Satan if 3:56 we do not know what exactly the 4:02 footsteps of Satan are, as explained by 4:04 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala in the Noble 4:06 Qur'an. If we trace in the Noble Qur'an 4:13 , that our enemies are actually two. 4:20 Those from within ourselves are the 4:22 carnal desires (*hawa nafsu*). Then the 4:26 enemy from the outside is Satan, yes, 4:31 Iblis, yes. Iblis. Then it develops 4:35 again into Satan. Satan is from among 4:39 the jinn and mankind. So the essence of 4:44 Satan is truly a creature that is 4:47 rebellious against Allah Subhanahu wa 4:50 ta'ala. Then Iblis invites his friends 4:54 from his own kind, which is the jinn 4:58 kind. And he also invites humans to 5:04 join in receiving the wrath of Allah 5:08 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. It is important 5:15 for us to know these steps of Satan so 5:19 that we will be careful in our lives, 5:23 so that our souls truly return to their 5:27 original nature (*fitrah*), yes. The 5:32 nature is to bear witness (*syahadah*) 5:34 to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. It is 5:38 just that because we do not know what 5:40 the steps of carnal desires are, or 5:42 what the steps of Satan are. So that 5:46 our souls are truly trapped by those 5:48 two enemies, namely the enemy of carnal 5:51 desires and the enemy from Satan. Our 5:56 desires are within ourselves, while on 5:59 the outside, there is the accursed 6:01 devil. Well, there is a very effective 6:06 collaboration that never knows despair, 6:08 which is the devil. The devil 6:13 collaborates with the desires that 6:15 exist within us. Meanwhile, our soul, 6:23 if it truly returns to its nature, will 6:28 be helped by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 6:35 It is not only Allah who will help the 6:39 soul, but Allah also commands the 6:42 heavenly hosts, the angels, to 6:44 accompany the soul, the peaceful soul. 6:51 Listeners of Radio Rasil who are 6:53 honored by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 6:55 What steps actually are planned by the 7:01 devil? Where these devils are from 7:05 among the jinn and mankind? The first 7:09 one is the first step taken by the 7:14 devil is that the devil creates 7:17 hostility and hatred. So, this 7:23 hostility and hatred are truly the 7:26 devil's targets. However, the devil 7:32 knows very well that people or souls 7:35 who consistently return to their nature 7:41 . People who always remember Allah and 7:48 establish prayer are a distinct 7:50 challenge for the devil. So how can 7:57 humans be kept away from remembering 8:00 Allah, away from prayer? So the devil 8:05 provides bait, which is through liquor 8:10 or gambling. This is stated in the word 8:18 of Allah in Surah Al-Maidah, verse 91. 8:26 Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim. Innama 8:31 yuridusit ayuqia bainakumul'adawata wal 8:38 bagdhaa'a fil khamri wal maisiri wa 8:41 yashuddakum 'an dzikrillahi wash-shalah 8:50 fahal antum muntahun. Indeed, the devil 9:00 intends to create hostility and hatred 9:07 among you. So the devil presents what 9:15 is called liquor and gambling. These 9:22 liquors and gambling are what will 9:25 hinder the children of Adam from 9:30 remembering Allah and establishing 9:33 prayer. So Allah says here, "So stop, 9:40 avoid those two things." Thus, it 9:49 becomes a task that is targeted by the 9:54 devil. How to make humans have 9:58 hostility, have hatred. From hatred, it 10:06 then creates feelings of revenge, envy, 10:12 then anger. So those are truly the 10:18 works of the devil that we must face 10:23 seriously, that we must be careful, so 10:32 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala gives a 10:34 hallmark for the pious, which is wal 10:37 kaziminal ghaiz wal' afina 'anin-nas. 10:43 Suppressing anger and forgiving 10:45 people's mistakes. This is to prevent 10:50 acts of hatred and hostility so that we 10:57 avoid the steps of the devil. We will 11:02 have a preventive measure, a 11:05 precautionary step. How that forgiving 11:11 people's mistakes and suppressing anger 11:17 is made by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala a 11:22 quality of the pious. Then the second 11:30 step taken by the devil is the devil 11:36 searches for where a person's heart is 11:41 that has a disease and a harsh, rough 11:45 heart. That becomes the devil's target. 11:51 The devil knows very well human habits. 11:55 How about people whose hearts have 11:57 hardened? It is said that those with 12:02 hardened hearts are people who never 12:05 remember Allah and are far from the 12:07 Noble Qur'an. And they become easy 12:11 targets for Satan. Such people are 12:17 easily trapped by Satan into his 12:20 deceptions. So Allah Subhanahu wa 12:29 ta'ala warns us of these steps of Satan 12:34 as ee revealed in Surah Al-Hajj in 12:40 verse 53. Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim 12:47 . liyajala ma yulqitadina fi qulubihim 12:55 maradun walqatiubuhum wa innalimina 13:03 lafi siqaqin baid that He may make what 13:11 Satan throws in a trial. So that trial, 13:19 that incitement, and that hatred will 13:23 be instilled by Satan. So the trials of 13:28 Satan in the form of hatred, distorting 13:32 the facts, yes. For those in whose 13:39 hearts there is a disease and who are 13:40 harsh. So a diseased heart means a 13:48 heart that contains feelings of hatred, 13:51 envy, and is vengeful, yes. So it will 13:58 become an easy target for Satan. Easily 14:01 influenced, ignited from within. How 14:06 does a person come to harbor vengeance 14:09 or hatred? Because their heart has 14:12 already hardened. Why does it harden? 14:16 Because within that heart is stored 14:18 vengeance, hatred, and stubbornness to 14:20 always be right. Meanwhile, they are 14:24 far from the Noble Qur'an and never 14:26 remember Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So 14:30 it is these kinds of people who are 14:32 truly easily influenced by Satan. In 14:39 simple terms, these are the people who 14:42 are easily incited. Because their 14:46 hearts have indeed hardened and never 14:48 remember Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So, 14:51 be wary of hardened hearts. H So the 14:58 preventive measure is how to ensure our 15:03 hearts do not harden, meaning the heart 15:07 must be introduced to Allah by doing a 15:11 lot of dhikrullah, remembering Allah, 15:17 and studying the Noble Qur'an 15:20 extensively. What are the steps of 15:23 Satan? We must know them so we can be 15:28 vigilant before Satan tempts us. So if 15:36 we look at, ee in our daily lives, many 15:43 things are truly spoken by those who 15:47 have never known the Noble Qur'an. So 15:53 their words are actually utterances 15:55 that come from their desires and are 16:00 then whispered by Satan, given a sense 16:03 of beauty so that their words become 16:06 attractive. Even though that is truly a 16:09 step of Satan. Why can Satan influence 16:13 them like that? Because that person 16:17 truly no longer has a benchmark for 16:21 truth. They no longer have a barometer 16:25 of truth. What is that barometer of 16:30 truth? It is the Noble Qur'an. So 16:35 something is only true according to 16:37 Allah if it is in accordance with the 16:39 Noble Qur'an. So everything that is not 16:44 in the Qur'an is truly an act of 16:47 falsehood manufactured by our desires 16:51 working in tandem with the whispers of 16:55 Satan. So, the second step is: beware 17:02 of hearts that have disease, hearts 17:05 that have hardness. Then the third step 17:14 that will be taken by Satan is Satan 17:20 will insert his needle through a 17:25 conversation. Where that conversation 17:31 is stirred up by Satan so that a person 17:36 discusses envy, discusses hostility. It 17:43 is indeed deliberately stirred up by 17:46 Satan. So that is truly, what do you 17:51 call it? Satan's needle, yes. When we 17:56 discuss sinful deeds or we talk about 18:00 other people, the faults of others, 18:03 then this is where we have truly fallen 18:06 into Satan's traps. Thus, Allah 18:13 Subhanahu wa ta'ala, in Surah 18:15 Al-Mujadilah in the 9th verse, Allah 18:22 Subhanahu wa ta'ala says, "Ya 18:24 ayyuhalladzina amanu idza tanaitum fala 18:30 tatanaajau bilmi wal udwani wa 18:36 ma’shiyati birri wattaqwa 18:41 Wattaqulahalladzi ilaihi tuhsyarun." O 18:47 you who have believed, when you hold 18:50 secret conversations, do not converse 18:56 about sin, hostility, and disobedience 19:03 to the Messenger. And converse about 19:11 righteousness and piety, and fear Allah 19:15 , to whom you will be gathered. So be 19:23 careful with our tongues. Thus the 19:29 Messenger of Allah stated that what 19:32 ruins humans are actually two things: 19:35 the tongue and the private parts. It is 19:40 this tongue that makes humans fall into 19:43 Satan's trap. Talking about hostility, 19:47 talking about envy or other people's 19:51 faults, thus creating hatred. So these 19:57 are indeed the steps of Satan. If we 20:03 respond to conversations of 20:10 disobedience, hatred, envy, then that 20:14 is where a good cooperation occurs 20:17 between the base desires and Satan. 20:22 While the soul's ability to remember 20:25 Allah will be increasingly veiled. 20:30 Locked shut, yes. Thus, in such a 20:37 condition, Satan will be able to 20:42 control people whose speech is 20:50 conversations that contain hatred and 20:53 envy. That is exactly what Satan wants. 21:02 Then Satan conveys through those 21:13 hateful words, Satan's target is for 21:17 that person to feel the deepest sorrow. 21:25 So if they feel the deepest sorrow, 21:29 they will try to rise from that sorrow. 21:35 That is where the role of Satan will 21:38 start to take action. As mentioned in 21:47 verse 10, "Innaman najwa minasyaitani 21:51 liyahzunalladzina amanu waisa 21:55 bidorrihim saian illa biidnillah wa 21:59 alallahi falyatawakalil mukminun." 22:07 Indeed, secret conversation is from 22:10 Satan to grieve those who have believed 22:16 . But that conversation will not harm 22:21 them at all except by the permission of 22:25 Allah. And upon Allah let the believers 22:31 rely. So this becomes an enemy for the 22:38 believers, words of envy and hostility. 22:45 So be careful in facing all of that. 22:53 Then the fifth point is how Satan tries 23:00 to cause discord, discord that is 23:08 caused by that speech earlier. Then 23:13 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala in Surah 23:15 Al-Isra in the 53rd verse states that " 23:21 Waqul liibadi yaquulullati hiya ahsan." 23:28 "Innasyaitana yanzagu bainahum inna 23:31 syaitana kaana lil insani aduwwan 23:36 mubina." And tell My servants, let them 23:45 speak that which is better. Hmm. Indeed 23:55 , Satan causes discord among them. 24:04 Indeed, Satan is a clear enemy to 24:07 humans. So, guarding one's speech. The 24:16 Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, 24:19 stated that whoever believes in Allah 24:21 and the Last Day, let them speak 24:24 goodness. Or if not, remain silent. It 24:30 is this speech that truly allows the 24:34 footsteps of Satan to enter our words. 24:39 If we are not careful with our speech, 24:42 then how can believers always guard 24:45 their words so that what comes out of 24:49 our mouths are pleasant words, not 24:57 words that cause others' hearts to ache 24:59 , or feel hurt. Thus, how do we truly 25:07 face these five steps taken by Satan 25:13 against the believers? Allah Subhanahu 25:21 wa ta'ala gives an understanding to our 25:25 souls as stated in Surah Al-Hujurat, 25:31 verse 11. I seek refuge in Allah from 25:36 the accursed Satan. "O you who have 25:39 believed, let not a people ridicule [ 25:42 another] people; perhaps they may be 25:45 better than them.""Nor let women 25:50 ridicule [other] women; perhaps they 25:51 may be better than them.""And do not 25:56 insult one another and do not call each 25:59 other by [offensive] nicknames. 26:01 Wretched is the name of disobedience 26:04 after [one's] faith." O you who believe 26:17 , let not a group of men ridicule 26:21 another group. It may be that those 26:28 being ridiculed are better than them. 26:35 And let not a group of women ridicule 26:38 another group. It may be that those 26:43 being ridiculed are better. And do not 26:50 like to insult yourselves. This means 26:55 that insulting others is like insulting 26:57 yourself. In the end, we get insulted 26:59 back by that person. That is the same 27:02 as someone insulting us ourselves. So, 27:04 guard your tongue. And do not call each 27:09 other by titles that contain mockery. 27:16 So, our friend is called by a name that 27:19 is actually disliked by the person 27:22 called, or perhaps others also do not 27:25 like that name. And the worst of names 27:35 is an evil name after having faith. And 27:42 whoever does not repent, then it is 27:45 they who are the wrongdoers. So here, 27:53 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala teaches us. 28:00 We should not feel better than others 28:04 or feel more righteous than others. It 28:09 could be that the others are more 28:10 righteous than us. So what we are 28:14 looking for is the truth, and to seek 28:16 the pleasure of Allah. Not to feel like 28:20 we are the only ones right or the only 28:23 ones smart. These are the steps of 28:28 Satan inserted into our daily lives. 28:36 Then the second step for a believer: 28:41 Avoid, avoid suspicion. In Surah 28:48 Al-Hujurat verse 12, Allah Subhanahu wa 28:51 ta'ala states, "O you who have believed 28:55 , avoid much [negative] assumption. 28:58 Indeed, some assumption is sin.""And do 29:05 not spy or backbite each other. Would 29:09 one of you like to eat the flesh of his 29:13 brother when dead?""And fear Allah; 29:19 indeed, Allah is Accepting of 29:21 repentance and Merciful." O you who 29:27 believe, avoid much of*zann*or 29:32 suspicion, assuming things about others 29:39 . Full of suspicion. That is what is 29:44 called*zann*. Because some of that*zann 29:48 *is a sin. And do not search for the 29:54 faults of others and do not gossip 30:01 about one another. Would one of you 30:08 like to eat the flesh of his brother 30:11 who is already dead? You would 30:16 certainly feel disgusted by it. And 30:21 fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is the 30:25 Acceptor of repentance and the Most 30:27 Merciful. So here, feelings of 30:34 suspicion and prejudice are among the 30:38 footsteps of Satan offered to humans. 30:42 Therefore, be careful of that. So, do 30:46 not look for the faults of others, okay 30:49 . Yes. Do not be fond of backbiting, 30:52 okay. Gossiping about other people. 30:58 Because Allah states here that it is 31:01 like eating the flesh of one's own dead 31:03 brother. This is a truly vile deed, and 31:10 these are indeed the footsteps of Satan 31:14 . Then the third point is for those who 31:20 believe in Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 31:25 The third step is how we contemplate 31:28 the Holy Qur'an. Hm. In Surah Muhammad, 31:36 verses 24 and 25. I seek refuge in 31:41 Allah from the accursed Satan. Then do 31:44 they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or 31:46 are there locks upon their hearts? 31:50 Indeed, those who reverted to disbelief 31:54 after guidance had become clear to them 31:58 —Satan enticed them and prolonged 32:01 hope for them. So, do they not 32:08 contemplate the Qur'an, or are their 32:11 hearts locked? So here, contemplating 32:19 the Qur'an, exploring the Holy Qur'an, 32:21 and finding out how the footsteps of 32:24 Satan are mentioned in the Qur'an— 32:26 that is what is called contemplating 32:29 the Qur'an. Seeking the wisdom behind 32:33 the calamities that exist when Allah 32:36 sends down a trial. How we contemplate 32:40 the Qur'an; and this contemplation of 32:42 the Qur'an must be done with the heart. 32:47 You cannot contemplate the Qur'an with 32:50 our thoughts, with our brains. You 32:52 cannot. Because the revelation of Allah 32:55 was sent down by Allah Subhanahu wa 32:57 ta'ala to the Messenger of Allah, peace 32:59 be upon him, into his heart. So when 33:02 Allah asks, "Do you not contemplate the 33:05 Qur'an, or are your hearts indeed 33:08 locked?" This is actually both. 33:13 Contemplating the Qur'an. Then, at the 33:17 same time, our hearts must also be 33:21 purified because the Qur'an is a holy 33:25 light that will be placed by Allah into 33:29 a clean heart. Indeed, those who turn 33:38 back—meaning to disbelief—after the 33:40 guidance has become clear to them. 33:45 Satan has made it easy for them to sin 33:49 and has prolonged their false hopes. 33:57 Then the fourth point is how when, uh, 34:05 Satan tempts us, right. Yes. So the 34:11 fourth step for those who believe is as 34:13 mentioned in Surah Al-Furqan, verse 63, 34:16 I seek refuge in Allah from the 34:18 accursed Satan. And the servants of the 34:21 Most Merciful are those who walk upon 34:23 the earth easily, and when the ignorant 34:25 address them [harshly], they say [words 34:27 of] peace. And the servants of the Most 34:31 Merciful. So, becoming a servant of 34:33 Ar-Rahman, a servant of Allah, namely 34:39 those who walk upon the earth with 34:41 humility. Those who walk upon the earth 34:45 in humility. So, humble, not arrogant. 34:53 And when the ignorant address them, 34:54 they say peace. And when ignorant 34:57 people greet them or if some ignorant 35:03 person mocks them, then this servant of 35:08 Allah must remain answering those 35:13 mocking remarks with words that still 35:17 come from the tongue of a believer— 35:21 words that contain peace. So here, when 35:27 we are provoked by ignorant people who 35:32 hurt our feelings, we ask for strength 35:36 from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala so that 35:41 the words that come from us remain 35:45 words that contain peace. So, when 35:52 those words containing peace come from 35:55 us, we will truly be protected from 35:58 those footsteps of Satan. So that what 36:04 is, uh, conveyed by Allah Subhanahu wa 36:06 ta'ala, wala tattabiu 36:08 khutwatish-shaitan. Do not ever follow 36:13 the footsteps of the devil. Innahu 36:16 lakum 'aduwwun mubin. Indeed, the devil 36:20 is a clear enemy to you. Perhaps that 36:23 is it. Wallahu'alam. Yes. Alright, 36:39 brothers and sisters who are blessed by 36:40 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Thus, we 36:43 have listened together to the 36:46 explanation delivered by Ustaz 36:48 Rahmatullah on this evening's occasion, 36:51 on our theme regarding the deceptions 36:55 of the devil. And we will return to 36:59 your listening space shortly. Stay with 37:02 us. at at attack at T at Brail TV. 41:47 Radio Silaturahim for one Islam, 41:50 broadcast from Jalan Masjid Silaturahim 41:54 number 36, Kalimanggis, Cibubur, Bekasi 41:58 . Alright, brothers and sisters. Thank 42:02 you for staying with us in this 42:04 evening's program, Reflections of the 42:06 Heart with Ustaz Rahmatullah. The first 42:12 question, Ustaz, comes from Mrs. 42:14 Nugroho in Kemayoran. Assalamualaikum 42:17 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 42:18 Waalaikumsalam warahmatullah. 42:20 Alright, Ustaz. Actually, we know very 42:23 well that Allah understands our hearts. 42:26 We do not want to be far from Allah. 42:31 But sometimes the battle with the devil 42:33 defeats us when we are weak. So the 42:38 question is, how can we stabilize prime 42:42 strength within ourselves to fight the 42:45 devil in all its forms? Please 42:49 enlighten us, Ustaz. Jazakumullah. 42:51 Note. 42:53 Even though Allah also knows very well 42:55 that sometimes we truly become people 42:56 who are lazy in worship. Perhaps that 42:59 is what is called' futur ', Ustaz. 43:01 Yes, 43:02 please go ahead. 43:02 Alright, good. Thank you to Mrs. 43:05 Nugroho in Kemayoran. Uh, indeed, uh 43:13 why do we become careless with, um, 43:16 meaning our battle with the devil, we 43:19 lose? H 43:22 uh, so indeed Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 43:25 answers, here we look in Surah 43:27 Az-Zukhruf, the 43rd surah, uh, verse 43:33 36, it is stated that, 43:34 Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim, wa man 43:36 ya'shu' an zikrir-Rahman nuqayyiḍ 43:41 lahu syaiṭānan fahuwa lahu qarīn 43:46 whoever turns away from the remembrance 43:48 of the Most Merciful Whoever turns away 43:53 from remembering Allah? Whoever turns 43:55 away from, uh, what? Azzikr Quran, 44:01 nuqayyiḍ lahu syaiṭānan fahuwa 44:03 lahu qarīn. Then Allah will appoint 44:07 for him a companion, a devil companion. 44:11 And that devil is the one who will 44:13 accompany people who forget to remember 44:16 Allah. So indeed the devil, in other 44:23 verses, the devil has no sultan, no 44:27 power. Yes, so the devil is actually 44:32 very weak. Very weak. So the devil is 44:38 very weak. The devil only, what is it 44:41 called? Only merely invites, but 44:45 because we are in a weak position, not 44:49 remembering Allah, that is where we 44:53 will be carried away by those devilish 44:57 temptations. 44:59 Yeah. Then how, indeed, if it was 45:02 mentioned earlier in Surah Az-Zukhruf, 45:05 surah 43 verse 36, that for people who 45:08 are istiqamah in performing zikrullah, 45:11 then the devil will not approach. So 45:16 the answer is truly zikir, yes. As 45:20 stated in Surah Ali Imran verse 191, it 45:22 is mentioned, "Alladzina 45:24 yadhkurunallaha qiyaman wa qu'udan wa ' 45:27 ala junubihim." So, remembering Allah 45:30 while standing, sitting, and lying down 45:32 . That is what we must do continuously, 45:36 with steadfastness (istiqamah). So, 45:40 what happens? Truly, Ibu Nugrah, if we 45:43 are steadfast in doing that, then the 45:46 devils who were tempting us will be 45:48 deterred, because Allah Subhanahu wa 45:51 ta'ala will send down angels to those 45:53 who are steadfast. As it is mentioned 45:59 in Surah Fussilat, Surah 41, verses 30 46:02 and 31. A'udhubillahi 46:06 minash-shaytanir-rajim. "Innalladzina 46:10 qalu rabbunallah thummastaqamu 46:13 tatanazzalu' alaihimul malaikatu alla 46:16 takhafu wala tahzanu wa absiru bil 46:18 jannatillati kuntum tu'adun." Truly, 46:26 those who say, "Our Lord is Allah."" 46:29 Thummastaqamu," then they remain 46:31 steadfast. Hm. "Tatanazzalu 'alaihil 46:35 malaikah." Then Allah will send down 46:38 angels. Yes. The angels will descend 46:45 upon those who are steadfast, 46:46 whispering, "Alla takhafu wala tahzanu. 46:48 " Do not fear, and do not grieve. " 46:54 Gembira," rejoice, "wabsyiru bil jannah 46:57 ." Rejoice with the Paradise that you 47:03 were promised. "Nahnu awliya'ukum 47:10 fil-hayatid-dunya wa fil-akhirah, wa 47:12 lakum fiha ma tasytahi anfusukum.""We 47:19 are your allies in the worldly life and 47:22 in the Hereafter, and you will have 47:24 therein whatever your souls desire, and 47:27 you will have therein whatever you 47:29 request." So, here it is for those who 47:33 are steadfast—one of those forms of 47:35 steadfastness is being steadfast in 47:37 remembering Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, 47:39 then Allah will send down angels to 47:46 back up those who are steadfast, so 47:49 that the angels are always whispering 47:52 into our souls. "Alla takhafu wa 47:56 tahzanu," do not fear, do not be sad, 47:58 do not grieve. "I will be the one to 48:00 back you up," say the angels. Now, the 48:02 angels whisper like that because it is 48:04 indeed a command from Allah Subhanahu 48:06 wa ta'ala. So, here the devils who were 48:10 going to tempt us will truly feel 48:12 hopeless, for Iblis will be desperate 48:15 to tempt the children of Adam. Thus, in 48:20 the Hadith of the Prophet, it is 48:23 mentioned that Iblis says, "I try to 48:25 tempt the children of Adam, but I am 48:27 actually destroyed by the children of 48:30 Adam through seeking forgiveness ( 48:32 istighfar).""I am destroyed by the 48:36 phrase' La ilaha illallah '." So, those 48:38 are all forms of Dhikrullah ( 48:39 remembrance of Allah). Therefore, the 48:43 devil will not like those who are 48:45 steadfast in their souls, always 48:47 mentioning the name of Allah Subhanahu 48:49 wa ta'ala. So, in this regard, the 48:54 first thing is having a genuine 48:56 earnestness to head toward Allah 48:58 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Then the second is 49:01 asking for help from Allah so that we 49:03 are granted steadfastness. Because, 49:05 indeed, this steadfastness is not as 49:07 easy as flipping the palm of a hand. 49:10 Except if we are given an ease by Allah 49:15 Subhanahu wa ta'ala to maintain that 49:18 steadfastness. But that steadfastness 49:22 depends entirely on whether we have 49:24 that earnestness or not. So, as Allah 49:29 states in Surah Al-Ankabut verse 69, it 49:31 is mentioned, "Walladzina jahadu fina 49:33 lanahdiyannahum subulana." Those who 49:39 strive earnestly in My path, I will 49:41 surely guide them to My ways. "Wa 49:44 innallaha la ma'al-muhsinin." And Allah 49:47 is surely with those who are earnest. 49:51 So, the core issue is having that 49:54 earnestness. Yes, in the language of 49:58 the Quran, it is Jihad. Now, Jihad 50:01 means sincerity or earnest effort. 50:03 That is what earns appreciation from 50:06 Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, receiving 50:08 the highest reward for those who are 50:10 truly earnest. Not just shown the way, 50:15 but accompanied, or what should we call 50:17 it? When we are truly earnest, we are 50:20 with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. That is 50:22 the promise of Allah Subhanahu wa 50:24 Ta'ala. So, to Ibu Nugroho, what we 50:27 need to know within ourselves is the 50:30 extent of our sincerity and the 50:32 motivation of our earnestness toward 50:35 Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. So, remember 50:39 that the hereafter is 99%pleasure. 50:44 While in this world, it is only 1%. 50:48 Therefore, it is about how we reach 50:51 that 99%of pleasure in the hereafter 50:54 when we meet the countenance of Allah 50:58 later. That motivation is what truly 51:02 makes us earnest in drawing closer to 51:06 Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Perhaps that 51:09 is it. Wallahu a'lam (Allah knows best) 51:10 . 51:10 Yes. Alright. Thank you, Ustaz, for the 51:13 answer. Ibu Nugroho in Kemayoran. 51:16 Hopefully, it has been answered. Next, 51:19 we move to Ibu Liza. Peace be upon you, 51:21 and Allah's mercy and blessings, Ustaz. 51:23 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 51:24 mercy and blessings. I would like to 51:26 ask, what is the cause for someone who 51:30 was initially good and pious, but after 51:33 gaining a position, turns around, 51:35 becomes arrogant, and justifies what is 51:39 clearly wrong, and so on? Is this also 51:43 included in the traps of Satan's 51:45 deception, and what must be done to 51:48 escape or avoid such things, Ustaz? 51:51 Thank you. 51:53 Yes. Very well, thank you, Ibu Liza. 51:55 That is a very good question. Uh. The 52:01 first is because there is a love for 52:05 the world that exceeds the life of the 52:09 hereafter. Yes. Yes. Let's see, Ibu 52:16 Liza, in Surah An-Nahl, chapter 16. 52:21 Yes. In verses 107 and 108: "A'udhu 52:25 billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim, dhalika 52:30 bi'annahum...bi'annahum 52:34 mustahabbul-hayatad-dunya' alal-akhirah 52:38 wa annallaha la yahdil-qawmal-kafirin. 52:43 Ula'ikalladhina taba'allahu 'ala 52:44 qulubihim...wa sam'ihim wa absarihim." 52:54 That is because they love the life of 52:57 the world more than the hereafter. 53:03 Allah does not guide the disbelieving 53:05 people. Those are the people whose 53:10 hearts, hearing, and vision have been 53:14 sealed by Allah. Those are the heedless 53:16 ones. So, when a person has made the 53:23 world their goal, their love, hubbud 53:27 dunya (love of the world). 53:30 Hm. 53:31 Hubbud dunya wa karahiyatul maut (love 53:32 of the world and fear of death). Love 53:35 for the world and fear of death. So if 53:40 they have, what do you call it? If they 53:43 have made the world their sole purpose, 53:47 then Allah will seal their hearts. Yet 53:52 when the heart has been sealed by Allah 53:54 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, that person can no 53:57 longer do anything. The vision of their 54:01 heart, the hearing of their heart. What 54:05 does that mean? They are no longer able 54:08 to hear or see the truth that descends 54:11 from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Hm. So, 54:17 this world, that is the trap of Satan. 54:23 How one makes the world their main goal 54:28 . Hm. That is why in Surah Al-Hajj, 54:34 chapter 22 verse 52, it is stated that 54:37 Satan tempts humans through their 54:40 desires. These desires are whispered by 54:46 Satan, telling you that your desire is 54:49 a good one, an extraordinary one. So, 54:54 how you must achieve this desire by any 54:57 means necessary. Because the desire 55:03 that you have determined is a desire 55:07 that will provide happiness. That is 55:10 truly how the whispers of Satan work. 55:13 Satan whispers from the side of one's 55:16 desires. Now, it happens that the 55:19 attachment and desire for this world 55:22 exceed one's desire for the hereafter. 55:26 Worldly life, the desire for worldly 55:28 life is only 1%. The 99%is ignored. So 55:34 that is truly the trap of Satan. How to 55:38 ensure humans attain that 1%by any 55:42 means, whether lawful or unlawful. When 55:50 that happens, humans have actually 55:52 entered into the footsteps of Satan, 55:55 causing us to become forgetful. Even 56:00 though Allah says "wala tattabiu 56:02 khutwati shaitan." Do not follow the 56:05 footsteps of Satan. Indeed, Satan is an 56:09 enemy to you. So, he is no longer 56:13 treated as an enemy; instead, Satan has 56:16 been made a friend. Because the 56:19 footsteps of Satan have been followed. 56:21 And that is where one violates the 56:23 decrees of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 56:25 So, there is sufficient reason for 56:28 Allah to lock their hearts. And we know 56:33 in the Qur'an that the heart is the 56:35 instrument for knowing Allah. And that 56:39 instrument for knowing Allah is locked 56:41 shut by Allah. Then at that moment, the 56:44 base desires say: life is only in this 56:47 world. When we die, we are free from 56:53 all concerns. Actually, we die only 56:57 because our time has run out. Once dead 56:59 , everything just vanishes. So, in the 57:01 end, that is their understanding. That 57:03 is the understanding of base desires. 57:06 These base desires have no knowledge of 57:09 the afterlife; they are ignorant of the 57:11 afterlife. Yet, these base desires 57:14 claim to be smart. Therefore, such 57:17 traps are what we must be wary of. Do 57:21 not let us fall into the trap of Satan. 57:26 But the question is, does that mean we 57:28 are not allowed to seek worldly things? 57:30 It is allowed. It is not forbidden. 57:32 Allah Himself has a recipe for how we 57:36 should seek the world so that, what do 57:40 you call it? If we follow Allah's 57:44 recipe, because we do need the world, 57:47 it is not that we don't need it. We 57:52 need the world to uphold the word of 57:54 Allah and as a means to strive in the 57:56 path of Allah. We need it. But how we 58:01 seek this world should not be following 58:03 Satan's steps, but Allah's steps. So, 58:07 we need to know what Allah's steps are 58:10 like and what Satan's steps are like. 58:14 If we look, for example, at Surah 58:16 Al-Jumu'ah, chapter 62 verse 10, it 58:18 mentions "faidha qudiyati as-salatu". " 58:25 Faintashiru fil-ard." Yes, when the 58:32 prayer has been concluded, disperse 58:34 throughout the earth. Seek the bounty 58:39 of Allah. What does that mean? You are 58:41 told to work, told to do business, told 58:43 to seek material wealth. And when 58:47 seeking wealth, when doing business, 58:50 wazakurullahairon laakum tuflihun, 58:52 increase your dhikr to Allah Subhanahu 58:54 wa taala so that you may be successful. 58:58 Where is the success? Successful in 58:59 this world, successful in the hereafter 59:01 . So that is truly Allah's guidance for 59:05 us in seeking the world. How the world 59:10 should not be the goal, but the goal is 59:13 the hereafter. The world is merely the 59:17 means. But in the first case, why is it 59:20 when a person, for example, after 59:22 becoming an official, was originally a 59:25 good person, then becomes not good, 59:27 that is actually because they are 59:29 following the steps of Satan. The world 59:32 is made the primary goal. As a result, 59:35 their heart is locked shut by Allah 59:36 Subhanahu wa taala. In such a condition 59:39 , they no longer know what is halal or 59:41 what is haram; they just cross the line 59:43 . So that is what we must be wary of, 59:48 perhaps. Wallahu'alam. 59:50 Yes. Alright, thank you Ustaz 59:52 Rahmatullah, brothers and sisters. That 59:55 was the answer for Ibu Liza. Hopefully, 59:58 it is answered. Alright, we will take a 1:00:01 break again and after this, we will 1:00:04 return to you. Stay with us in the 1:00:07 Renungan QBU program with Ustaz 1:00:10 Rahmatullah. at at at at attack at at 1:04:09 Brail TV Radio Silaturahim for a united 1:04:20 Islam, broadcast from Jalan Masjid 1:04:24 Silaturahim number 36, Kalimanggis, 1:04:27 Cibubur, Bekasi. Brothers and sisters, 1:04:31 thank you for staying with us tonight 1:04:34 in the Renungan QBU program with Ustaz 1:04:38 Rahmatullah. And the next question 1:04:41 comes from Pak Johar in Kalideres. 1:04:44 Ustaz, asalamualaikum warahmatullahi 1:04:47 wabarakatuh. 1:04:48 Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 1:04:49 wabarakatuh. 1:04:50 Alright, Ustaz, I want to ask, what is 1:04:52 the true nature of Satan? Is it a term 1:04:57 for a human's condition when their 1:04:59 desires are uncontrolled, or is it 1:05:02 truly a separate creation of Allah? 1:05:06 Thank you. 1:05:07 Yes. Alright, thank you to Pak Johar in 1:05:10 Kalideres. 1:05:11 Yes. 1:05:12 Eh, Satan, Satan is different from 1:05:15 human desire. 1:05:17 Human desire is within a person. But 1:05:21 Satan actually, originally, Satan's 1:05:25 beginning was when Allah Subhanahu wa 1:05:30 taala created humans. Yes. And before 1:05:36 that, Allah had already created 1:05:38 creatures like angels, jinn, they 1:05:39 already existed. Then Allah created a 1:05:44 creature called human. Then after Allah 1:05:49 created Adam, yes, from clay, then 1:05:55 breathed the spirit into him, and then 1:05:59 all creatures were asked by Allah 1:06:02 Subhanahu wa taala to prostrate to Adam 1:06:06 . All the angels prostrated, illa iblis 1:06:11 . Except Iblis. Iblis who did not want 1:06:15 to prostrate to Adam. Hm. This Iblis, 1:06:20 what is it called? He is from the jinn 1:06:24 race. And they were all previously in 1:06:27 paradise. Because Iblis, "Why, why do 1:06:33 you not want to prostrate to My command 1:06:35 ?" said Allah Subhanahu wa taala. So, 1:06:39 Iblis felt that he was better than Adam 1:06:44 . He might have said, "I am more senior 1:06:48 ." Well, I am made of fire. While Adam 1:06:52 is made of earth, you see. So, that is 1:06:56 truly, as in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 34, 1:07:02 yes. where Iblis dared to oppose the 1:07:07 decision of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:07:13 So that is truly, what is it called? 1:07:17 Iblis is the essence of the devil; its 1:07:20 origin is truly Iblis. Then Iblis 1:07:25 invited its kind, invited the jinn, 1:07:31 invited humans. In the end, what 1:07:34 happened? Devil became an adjective. So 1:07:39 , the devil is from among the jinn and 1:07:42 mankind. But the true essence of the 1:07:46 devil that first disobeyed Allah was 1:07:48 that Iblis. Now, that Iblis invited 1:07:52 those from the jinn race, from the 1:07:55 human race. And so they became devils. 1:07:59 So that Allah states that the devils 1:08:01 are from among the jinn and mankind, 1:08:03 like that. Because the devil really 1:08:08 wants not to be alone in hell later. So 1:08:14 it invited humans, and it invited its 1:08:17 own kind, namely the jinn. So with that 1:08:21 , if Mr. Johar said earlier that the 1:08:26 essence of the devil was originally 1:08:29 that Iblis, like that. Now, then it 1:08:34 invited humans. Now, humans have 1:08:38 desires. So, the devil collaborates 1:08:42 with those desires. In those desires, 1:08:47 the devil can collaborate well. 1:08:52 Meanwhile, inside humans, there is a 1:08:53 soul and a spirit. Now, the soul's 1:08:56 nature is directed toward Allah 1:08:58 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So when the 1:09:01 strength of drawing closer to Allah is 1:09:05 carried out by the soul, then that soul 1:09:09 can control those desires. So the devil 1:09:16 from the human race is essentially in 1:09:21 their desires. 1:09:25 Likewise with the jinn. Jinn also have 1:09:27 desires, you see. from desires. That is 1:09:32 truly the essence; the seeds of 1:09:35 becoming a devil are from the desires 1:09:38 within humans. But the primary essence 1:09:42 of everything is that Iblis. Perhaps 1:09:46 that is it, Mr. Johar. Allah knows best 1:09:48 . 1:09:48 Very well, Mr. Johar in Kalideres, I 1:09:52 hope that answers it, Sir. Next, from 1:09:55 Mr. Johar. Ustaz, let's move to the 1:09:58 question from Brother Adi in Pasar 1:10:00 Minggu. Peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:10:02 mercy and blessings. 1:10:04 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:10:05 mercy and blessings. 1:10:06 Ustaz, I seek enlightenment. What are 1:10:11 our next steps after dhikr to avoid the 1:10:14 deceptions of the devil? That is all, 1:10:18 Ustaz. 1:10:18 Yes. Very well, thank you, Brother Adi 1:10:21 in Pasar Minggu. 1:10:22 Yes. what are our steps after dhikr? 1:10:30 Well, truly, the first thing is that 1:10:35 the obligatory commands, meaning they 1:10:40 no longer need to be discussed. I mean 1:10:46 like this, what I mean by not needing 1:10:48 discussion, for example, the five daily 1:10:50 obligatory prayers. Meaning we must 1:10:53 perform them at the beginning of the 1:10:54 time in congregation at the mosque. 1:10:57 That is already, what do you call it, 1:11:00 non-negotiable. But how do we 1:11:04 subsequently increase, yes, increase 1:11:07 those practices beyond what is 1:11:09 obligatory? 1:11:11 Uh-huh. 1:11:12 Uh-huh. So, the Prophet stated that 1:11:16 prayer is the most essential thing in 1:11:19 this life. We know that prayer is a 1:11:24 command from Allah, where the Messenger 1:11:26 of Allah, peace be upon him, received 1:11:28 the command to pray directly from Allah 1:11:30 , not through the Angel Gabriel. It is 1:11:33 so important that the Messenger of 1:11:35 Allah, peace be upon him, was called 1:11:38 directly into His presence to receive 1:11:40 the command for prayer. Therefore, we 1:11:43 need to safeguard our prayers. Then, 1:11:47 along with those obligatory prayers, 1:11:49 there are voluntary prayers that follow 1:11:51 them, known as Sunnah Rawatib prayers. 1:11:56 Yes, in the hadith, it is said that 1:11:58 there are 12 rak'ahs of Sunnah Rawatib 1:12:00 prayers that accompany the obligatory 1:12:02 prayers. Yes. And Allah promises to 1:12:08 build a house in Paradise for those who 1:12:10 are consistent in performing those 12 1:12:13 rak'ahs of Sunnah Rawatib prayers. 1:12:17 Among those 12 rak'ahs mentioned in the 1:12:19 hadith are: For example, for Dhuhr, 1:12:24 there is a Sunnah prayer before Dhuhr, 1:12:27 Qabliyah Dhuhr, which is two rak'ahs. 1:12:31 Two rak'ahs. Then after Dhuhr, two 1:12:34 rak'ahs. So that is six already. Then 1:12:40 after Maghrib two rak'ahs, after Isha 1:12:44 two rak'ahs, and before Subuh two 1:12:48 rak'ahs. Now, this prayer before Subuh 1:12:52 is better than the world and everything 1:12:54 in it, says the Prophet, peace be upon 1:12:55 him. So, perform these 12 rak'ahs of 1:12:59 Sunnah Rawatib consistently. What about 1:13:03 other voluntary prayers outside of that 1:13:04 ? You are welcome to perform them. 1:13:06 But the ones explicitly stated in the 1:13:08 hadith are as mentioned. Then the 1:13:11 Prophet stated that the most excellent 1:13:16 prayer after the obligatory prayers is 1:13:21 the night prayer. So, Tahajjud and Witr 1:13:28 , perform them consistently, Bang Adi. 1:13:33 Hm. So make the night prayer a habit, 1:13:38 because the night prayer was initially 1:13:41 made obligatory for the Messenger of 1:13:44 Allah, peace be upon him, for a period 1:13:47 of 12 months. After the revelation of 1:13:54 the 20th verse of Surah Al-Muzzammil, 1:13:58 it became a Sunnah Muakkadah prayer. A 1:14:03 highly recommended voluntary prayer. So 1:14:08 , perform it consistently. Furthermore, 1:14:13 in truth, because concerning dhikr, the 1:14:17 Prophet said there is no virtuous deed 1:14:22 more excellent than the remembrance of 1:14:26 Allah (dhikrullah). Hmm. Take prayer, 1:14:33 for instance; in Surah Taha verse 14, 1:14:36 Allah states, "Innani anallah," indeed 1:14:39 I am Allah, says Allah, "Indeed I am 1:14:42 Allah, la ilaha illa ana," there is no 1:14:45 god but Me. "Faudni," worship Me. " 1:14:50 Waqimis-salata lidikri," and establish 1:14:53 prayer for My remembrance. So the 1:14:56 essence of prayer is remembrance. 1:14:59 Therefore, we must not let our minds 1:15:02 wander while we pray. So, how do we 1:15:05 ensure our inner self, our soul, and 1:15:08 our hearts are always remembering Allah 1:15:11 , feeling that we are face-to-face with 1:15:14 Allah when we pray, when we perform 1:15:17 dhikr, and when we seek forgiveness 1:15:20 from Allah? Ah, that is what we must do 1:15:23 . Now, in Surah Al-Imran verse 191, the 1:15:27 dhikr (remembrance) referred to is not 1:15:30 just during prayer. 1:15:32 Uh 1:15:33 or not just after the five daily 1:15:35 prayers or after sunnah prayers. Uh, 1:15:40 dhikr is done while standing, sitting, 1:15:42 and lying down. So, that is truly the 1:15:46 dhikr we must perform consistently 1:15:49 wherever we are. Whether we are selling 1:15:54 , working, doing business, or on the 1:15:58 road, dhikr must be done while standing 1:16:03 , sitting, and lying down. That is what 1:16:07 we must do consistently. When we do all 1:16:12 that consistently, Allah will send down 1:16:15 angels to back us up, as in Surah 1:16:18 Fussilat verses 30 and 31. Not only 1:16:23 that, but when we truly and 1:16:26 consistently perform dhikr, worship, 1:16:29 and draw closer to Allah Subhanahu wa 1:16:33 ta'ala, Allah will send down light 1:16:36 directly from Him. Bang Adi can look at 1:16:40 it later in Surah Al-Hadid, chapter 57 1:16:43 verse 28. So Allah sends down light 1:16:47 into our hearts. Then Allah also sends 1:16:50 down His heavenly army to support those 1:16:52 who are steadfast. So if it is like 1:16:55 that, then it is added by reflecting 1:16:58 upon (tadabbur) the Al-Qur'anul Karim. 1:17:02 We find out in the Qur'an what the 1:17:04 footsteps of Satan are like. How the 1:17:06 footsteps of believers are, and what 1:17:09 the prohibitions set by Allah Subhanahu 1:17:13 wa ta'ala are. Increase the reflection 1:17:16 upon the Al-Qur'anul Karim. Do that 1:17:20 consistently until it reaches what was 1:17:23 stated by the Prophet Muhammad 1:17:25 sallallahu alaihi wasallam. I leave 1:17:30 behind two matters; if you hold onto 1:17:32 them, you will never go astray: the 1:17:34 Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His 1:17:36 Messenger. I leave two things, said the 1:17:40 Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi 1:17:41 wasallam. You will never go astray as 1:17:45 long as you hold firmly to these two 1:17:47 things. What are they? The Book of 1:17:50 Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger. 1:17:51 The Al-Qur'anul Karim and the Sunnah of 1:17:53 the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 1:17:54 wasallam. If we do that consistently, 1:17:58 holding onto these two things 1:18:01 guaranteed by Allah and His Messenger 1:18:05 so we will not go astray, then what we 1:18:09 do will close the doors or footsteps of 1:18:13 Satan. Thus, reflecting upon the Qur'an 1:18:19 and the Sunnah of the Messenger becomes 1:18:22 a target in our lives if we want to be 1:18:25 saved by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. And 1:18:31 we need to understand that this Qur'an 1:18:34 will provide intercession and help when 1:18:37 we are at the court of Allah Subhanahu 1:18:40 wa ta'ala. So that is truly, Bang Adi, 1:18:45 what we must do consistently, perhaps 1:18:48 that is all. Wallahu'alam (Allah knows 1:18:50 best). 1:18:50 Alright, Ustaz. Actually, there are 1:18:54 already several questions that have 1:18:55 come in, Ustaz. I might combine them 1:18:58 into one, Ustaz. This is a question. 1:19:04 Uh, excuse me, Ustaz. From Ibu Rosari 1:19:09 in Matraman. Assalamu'alaikum 1:19:11 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Ustaz. Yes, 1:19:16 alright, Ustaz. Mm, I am facing someone 1:19:19 who has the characteristics of the 1:19:21 devil's footsteps, and all this time I 1:19:24 have yielded to avoid trouble and 1:19:26 surrendered everything to Allah 1:19:28 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:19:30 Yeah. 1:19:31 But they are becoming more daring and 1:19:33 acting cruelly toward me. Yeah. 1:19:35 However, I remain silent, then seek 1:19:38 forgiveness and yield. Because this 1:19:41 actually brings peace. H 1:19:43 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala is all-seeing 1:19:45 . Will I always be like this, Ustaz? 1:19:48 Sometimes I feel sad too. Please give 1:19:50 me some enlightenment. And the last 1:19:53 question, Ustaz, this is from a servant 1:19:59 of Allah. Peace be upon you, and 1:20:03 Allah's mercy and blessings. 1:20:04 And peace be upon you too, and Allah's 1:20:05 mercy. 1:20:05 Ustaz, what is meant by the devil's 1:20:07 footsteps? Can it go through the human 1:20:10 bloodstream? Thank you. 1:20:12 Two questions, Ustadz. 1:20:14 Yes. Alright. Uh, to Ibu Rosari first, 1:20:18 okay. Yes. 1:20:21 Uh Rosari, right? Ibu Rosari. 1:20:25 Ibu Rosari. Correct. In Matraman. 1:20:27 Ibu Rosari, yes. In Matraman, yes. Uh, 1:20:32 let us, Ibu Rosari, uh, the first one. 1:20:35 First and foremost, Ibu Rosari must 1:20:37 remain steadfast. Uh, as what we said 1:20:41 earlier, yes, what we conveyed earlier. 1:20:45 Then later Ibu Rosari can look at Surah 1:20:49 Ali Imran, verse 120. Now, yes. So, let 1:20:56 us, yes, the main point is when we face 1:20:59 various kinds of calamities, we look 1:21:02 for the solution in the Noble Qur'an. 1:21:08 And Allah will help us. Uh, in Surah 1:21:13 Ali Imran, verse 120, it is mentioned 1:21:16 that, A'udzubillahi minasyaitanirrajim, 1:21:20 in tamsaskum hasanatun tasu'hum wa in 1:21:23 tushibkum sayyi'atun yafrahu biha, wa 1:21:27 in tashbiru wa tattaqu la yadhurrukum 1:21:31 kaiduhum syai'a. Innallaha bima 1:21:35 ya'maluna muhith. If you obtain 1:21:42 goodness, they grieve. But if a 1:21:47 disaster befalls you, they rejoice 1:21:51 because of it. If you are patient and 1:21:57 God-fearing, their schemes will not 1:22:01 harm you at all. Indeed, Allah 1:22:07 encompasses everything they do. So here 1:22:12 , uh, the solution is, uh, to be 1:22:15 patient and God-fearing. Being 1:22:18 God-fearing, yes, already done 1:22:20 steadfastly, uh, like earlier. Then 1:22:23 what is meant by, uh, being patient 1:22:25 earlier? Uh, let us, Ibu Rosari, look 1:22:29 in, uh, Surah An-Nahl. Yes, Surah 1:22:35 An-Nahl, verse 127. Yes. Surah 16, 1:22:42 verse 127. You can look at it later, 1:22:46 Ibu Rosari. A'udzubillahi 1:22:49 minasyaitanirrajim. Uh Start from 126. 1:22:57 Hm. 126, yes. A'udzubillahi 1:23:04 minasyaitanirrajim. So Allah 1:23:39 states if you retaliate, then retaliate 1:23:43 with the same punishment as the torment 1:23:47 inflicted upon you. But if you are 1:23:52 patient, indeed that is better for the 1:23:55 patient. So to Ibu Rosari, uh, patience 1:24:02 means not retaliating. But if you have 1:24:06 already retaliated, then you are no 1:24:07 longer patient, because one has already 1:24:09 retaliated. But even that is limited, 1:24:12 it must be equivalent. So if someone, 1:24:15 for example, uh, slaps with the right 1:24:18 hand, then we slap with the right hand, 1:24:20 like that. But we are allowed to 1:24:24 retaliate in kind, though the value of 1:24:26 patience would be lost. Then, in verse 1:24:34 127 it is mentioned, "And be patient, 1:24:39 and your patience is solely by the help 1:24:42 of Allah.""Hm. So, we cannot be patient 1:24:48 unless we ask for help from Allah. O 1:24:51 Allah, grant us patience, O Allah. I 1:24:54 end up crying and pleading to Allah 1:24:56 because patience is very expensive. 1:25:00 Without measure. The reward for 1:25:03 patience is without limit. It is very 1:25:07 costly. Because it is indeed a 1:25:09 heavyweight matter. Hm. Even though it 1:25:13 is heavyweight, it means it is possible 1:25:15 if we ask for help from Allah Subhanahu 1:25:18 wa taala. If we rely on human ability, 1:25:20 it is surely impossible because this is 1:25:22 a heavy burden. So, ask for help from 1:25:25 Allah Subhanahu wa taala so that He 1:25:27 grants us patience. So, be patient and 1:25:33 your patience is solely by the help of 1:25:37 Allah and do not grieve over their 1:25:40 disbelief. So, a patient person is not 1:25:44 sad. Yes, just let it go. And do not be 1:25:52 distressed by the schemes they devise. 1:25:59 Hm. So not sad, then not distressed, 1:26:04 not holding a grudge. So that is what 1:26:09 patient people are like. Be 1:26:12 open-hearted, even if someone is, just 1:26:14 be open-hearted and don't hold a grudge 1:26:16 . Because if you hold a grudge, it will 1:26:22 eventually stir up hatred. And that is 1:26:28 where we will fall into the traps of 1:26:29 Satan. Because that is indeed Satan's 1:26:33 goal, so that people become hateful, 1:26:36 vengeful, angry, and then retaliate. So 1:26:41 , a patient person does not hold 1:26:43 grudges, does not hate, does not seek 1:26:45 revenge; ask Allah. If we sincerely ask 1:26:50 Allah, surely Allah will grant all of 1:26:52 that to us. Ah, so it is said here in 1:26:58 verse 128, indeed Allah is with those 1:27:02 who fear Him and those who do good. Now 1:27:07 , this is extraordinary, if we have 1:27:10 patience, we are accompanied by Allah, 1:27:13 together with Allah. Now, for all of 1:27:20 that, it is certainly not as easy as 1:27:22 flipping the palm of your hand. This 1:27:25 requires a struggle, yes. Fighting 1:27:29 earnestly. It could be that at first, 1:27:33 you can't be patient, there is still 1:27:36 hatred and a desire to retaliate, for 1:27:39 example. Try again the second time. Oh, 1:27:43 right. Yes, not bad, no hatred, no 1:27:49 retaliation. Increase it again, improve 1:27:52 it again. Now, patience, not hating, 1:27:55 not retaliating, plus reciprocating 1:27:58 with a good deed. Wow, that is 1:28:01 extraordinary. That was the character 1:28:03 of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi 1:28:04 wasallam, just like that. We might be 1:28:08 envious of it, right. Yes. 1:28:11 We really want to be able to imitate 1:28:14 the Prophet's character, right. That is 1:28:18 what we ask of Allah Subhanahu wa taala 1:28:20 . Perhaps that is for Mrs. Rosari. Then 1:28:24 , what was mentioned earlier about 1:28:26 Satan's steps? Entering the bloodstream 1:28:29 . Yes. 1:28:30 That is correct. So, that is what is 1:28:34 mentioned in the hadith, that the devil 1:28:37 will enter the human self through the 1:28:39 bloodstream. So, where does the blood 1:28:43 path come from? It can enter through 1:28:46 the nose. From the nose to the lungs, 1:28:49 from the lungs to the heart, then into 1:28:51 the blood. Then it controls this blood 1:28:53 flow. So, people who are possessed are 1:28:57 actually people who have been entered 1:29:00 by the devil, which has taken control 1:29:03 of their blood circulation, because 1:29:05 their heart is indeed empty, there is 1:29:08 no light within their heart. So, it 1:29:12 doesn't just influence from the outside 1:29:14 ; because influencing from the outside 1:29:17 is not enough, the devil enters the 1:29:19 human being through that blood path. 1:29:22 Perhaps that is it. God knows best. 1:29:24 Very well, Ustaz. Thank you for the 1:29:26 answer. That concludes the last two 1:29:30 questions. From Ibu Ros and also the 1:29:33 servant of Allah who did not mention 1:29:35 their name. And this will be the last 1:29:38 question, Ustaz, for tonight because we 1:29:40 are limited by time before we part ways 1:29:42 . What conclusion can you convey, Ustaz 1:29:44 ? 1:29:45 Yes. Alright, Kang Gus. Thank you. Uh. 1:29:50 Allah often. Or we often hear that" O 1:29:56 you who have believed, enter into Islam 1:29:58 completely. "" And do not follow the 1:30:02 footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to 1:30:04 you a clear enemy. "So we are commanded 1:30:07 to enter into the religion of Islam 1:30:10 kaffah, or totally. And do not follow 1:30:16 the footsteps of Satan. So here, a 1:30:21 question arises: what are the footsteps 1:30:24 of Satan? 1:30:26 Well, what we discussed earlier is 1:30:29 exactly what the footsteps of Satan are 1:30:31 . So when we know what the footsteps of 1:30:36 Satan are like, we can prepare 1:30:38 ourselves well in advance so as not to 1:30:41 fall into the devil's traps. We will be 1:30:45 much more cautious. And that is us 1:30:49 seeking protection from Allah Subhanahu 1:30:53 wa ta'ala, so that we are given the 1:30:56 ability not to follow the footsteps of 1:30:59 Satan. Allah states that Satan is a 1:31:05 clear enemy to you. Says Allah. So, 1:31:10 someone who is an enemy must be treated 1:31:12 as an enemy. Do not make them a friend, 1:31:16 or worse, follow their footsteps so 1:31:19 that we are uprooted from the path of 1:31:22 Allah. Now, perhaps this is it; God 1:31:28 willing, in the coming episode, we will 1:31:32 still discuss the many footsteps of 1:31:35 Satan that are very important for us to 1:31:39 know, so that the preventive actions we 1:31:43 take can be prepared once we know what 1:31:47 the footsteps of Satan are that will 1:31:50 target the believers. Perhaps that is 1:31:54 it. God knows best. Glory be to You, O 1:31:56 Allah, and with Your praise, I bear 1:31:57 witness that there is no god but You; I 1:31:58 seek Your forgiveness and repent to You 1:31:59 . Peace be upon you, and the mercy of 1:32:01 Allah and His blessings. 1:32:02 Alright, thank you very much, Ustaz. 1:32:04 Brothers and sisters. Such was our 1:32:06 lecture this evening with Ustaz 1:32:10 Rahmatullah. Hopefully, what he has 1:32:14 conveyed is beneficial for us all. In 1:32:17 conclusion, we who are on duty, Abi 1:32:19 Agus. Then there is Ondi and also Yusuf 1:32:22 Sebangkit. We beg to take our leave. 1:32:25 May there be success and guidance. 1:32:27 Peace be upon you, and the mercy of 1:32:28 Allah and His blessings.
