- Brail TV for a united Islam.
- Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy
- and blessings. Praise be to Allah.
- Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds,
- and the final outcome is for the
- righteous. I bear witness that there is
- no god but Allah, alone without partner
- , and I bear witness that Muhammad is
- His servant and messenger. O Allah,
- send prayers, greetings, and blessings
- upon our master Muhammad and upon all
- of his family and companions. To
- proceed. Indeed, Allah the Almighty has
- said in the Noble Quran. I seek refuge
- in Allah from the accursed Satan. In
- the name of Allah, the Most Gracious,
- the Most Merciful. Indeed, those who
- recite the Book of Allah and establish
- prayer establish prayer and spend from
- what we have provided them and spend
- from what We have provided them
- secretly and openly secretly and openly
- And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah
- bless him and grant him peace, said: "
- Indeed, this Quran is the banquet of
- Allah, so learn from His banquet as
- much as you can." Allah has spoken the
- truth, and the Messenger of Allah, may
- Allah bless him and grant him peace,
- has spoken the truth. Listeners and
- viewers of Rasul TV, may you be honored
- by Allah the Almighty. Praise be to
- Allah, Lord of the worlds. This evening
- , we are able to meet again for a study
- of the Sciences of the Quran based on
- thematic exegesis. A study that is very
- important in order to understand the
- holy book, the Noble Quran, where we
- know that these Sciences of the Quran
- are an effort so that we can understand
- the holy book of the Quran from various
- perspectives, where it is a series. The
- episodes that we have discussed are
- within the scope of the Sciences of the
- Quran, including the names of the Quran
- and its attributes. That is, the names
- of the Quran and its qualities. Namely
- naming the Quran as Al-Quran, naming
- the Quran as Al-Kitab, naming the Quran
- as At-Tanzil, Al-Dhikr, and others. We
- have also discussed part of it which
- contains verses about "ya"(O), both
- regarding the call to "O mankind,"
- meaning all of humanity. And
- specifically verses containing a call
- to those who believe, which begin with
- "O you who have believed." In the
- context of this study of the Sciences
- of the Quran, both the address
- containing "O mankind" and "O you who
- have believed" are part of the Sciences
- of the Quran in a specific discussion,
- namely that which explains the Meccan
- and Medinan verses, which relates to
- verses of the Quran revealed in Mecca
- and those revealed in Medina. Now, one
- of its characteristics is that those in
- Mecca start with "O mankind" and those
- in Medina start with "O you who have
- believed." Even though in certain
- contexts sometimes there are those
- starting with "O you who have believed,
- " but in a Meccan context, or "O
- mankind" in a Medinan context. But what
- is important is how we can all
- understand those addresses, both
- regarding "O mankind," which carries
- the meaning that we as humans, as
- mankind, are social beings. Then
- regarding "O you who have believed,"
- meaning O you who believe. We are also
- called by understanding the address
- specifically directed to those who
- believe. Although we haven't finished
- discussing it, but God willing, we will
- complete it in time. Where those
- addresses in the Quran consist of about
- 86 verses, where the point is that
- those addresses, which are specifically
- calls to those who believe, contain
- commands and prohibitions. So by
- knowing these address verses, both the
- core verses and the derivative verses,
- it means we also know, "Oh, Allah
- commands this and that, Allah forbids
- this and that." All of that is in the
- verses that this serves as an
- evaluation for us all. How important it
- is for us to study the holy Al-Qur'an,
- especially through this thematic
- interpretation-based study of Ulumul
- Qur'an. Where we know that Ulumul
- Qur'an, once again, refers to the vast
- sciences of the Al-Qur'an. We have only
- just studied the names of the Al-Qur'an
- and its attributes. Then some of the
- Makki and Madani, which are the
- Al-Qur'an verses revealed in Makkah and
- Madinah, related to those mentioned
- earlier. Not yet covering the parables
- of the Qur'an, nor the debates of the
- Qur'an, the stories of the Qur'an,
- including the oaths of the Qur'an.
- Hopefully, we can study them together.
- so that we are truly able to understand
- this holy Al-Qur'an well, so that we
- may reap the greatest benefits from the
- presence of this holy Al-Qur'an. Where
- the Prophet (peace be upon him) also
- commanded us, instructed us to always,
- always study the Al-Qur'an. As
- explained in a hadith narrated by Imam
- Bukhari and Muslim. Inna hadal qurana
- mauatullah fataamuatihimum. Verily,
- this Al-Qur'an is a banquet from Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Fata'allamu. So
- study the Al-Qur'an continuously,
- steadfastly, and constantly. Mastatum
- according to your respective abilities.
- In the context of this hadith, it
- provides a recommendation to us, gives
- an instruction to us so that we all as
- Muslims, as the Islamic community in
- between our activities, our jobs, our
- tasks, let us set aside a few minutes
- to study the holy Al-Qur'an. This both
- in terms of reading it and in terms of
- its content, so that we may be among
- those Muslims whose faith is complete,
- so that we may also be among those who
- are pious to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
- Because one of the characteristics of
- people who are pious to Allah Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala is that they are able to take
- many benefits from the presence of this
- holy Al-Qur'an. So that we occupy our
- time a little for the Al-Qur'an,
- reading the Qur'an, studying the
- contents of the Qur'an. Let us set
- aside our time for the Al-Qur'an.
- Because there are so many benefits when
- we are able to take advantage of the
- presence of the Noble Al-Qur'an. And
- this is also one of the characteristics
- of the believers who believe that this
- holy Al-Qur'an was revealed by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. through the angel
- Gabriel (peace be upon him) delivered
- to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
- him). Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace
- be upon him) conveyed it to his
- companions. The companions conveyed its
- recitation to the Tabi'in. The Tabi'in
- to the Tabi 'at-Tabi'in. The Tabi'
- at-Tabi'in reached it to us. Let us
- utilize the presence of this holy
- Al-Qur'an. Because it has so many
- benefits for our personal selves. The
- Al-Qur'an is a solution in navigating
- our fleeting life in this world, which
- is only for a moment. Let us fill it by
- understanding this holy Noble Al-Qur'an
- . Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala provides
- information to us in His word in Surah
- Fatir Surah 35 as advice for us, as
- reflection material for us. Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala says, A'udhu
- billahi minash-shaitanir-rajim.
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Innalladzina
- yatluna kitaballahi wa aqomus sha.
- Innalladzina yatluna kitaballah. Indeed
- , those who always recite the Book of
- Allah, the holy Al-Qur'an. If we pay
- attention to the wording of this verse
- it uses the words "yatluna kitaballah"
- which we need to understand, which we
- need to reflect upon. How magnificent
- this holy book, the Quran, is in
- providing lessons for us. Truly, those
- who always recite the book of Allah,
- this holy Quran, but with the phrasing
- "yatluna kitaballah" which is certainly
- different from the first level of
- reading, namely "iqra", read. Just
- reading. Then with "warattilitil
- qur'ana tartila", recite the Quran in a
- good and correct way and understand its
- contents. Well, "yatluna kitaballah"
- concerns the whole. Besides being able
- to try to read the Quran well and
- correctly, we also try to be able to
- understand the contents of the Quran.
- Then we also strive to implement the
- contents of the Quran in our lives.
- That is "yatluna kitaballah". An
- evaluation for us, a reflection for us.
- Whatever we read from the holy book of
- the Quran. Then we practice its
- contents in our daily lives. We
- continue to strive, we try so that we
- are also able to read the Quran as "
- yatluna kitaballah". Not just reading
- for the sake of it. This is certainly
- homework for us all, a guarantee in
- navigating this life. That those who
- are able to read the Quran as "yatluna
- kitaballah", then Allah provides a
- guarantee that they will get a trade
- that will never lose, they will be
- given profit. They will be given
- perfection in life, happiness in life.
- The foundation is "yatluna kitaballah".
- Truly perfect. And we are surely
- reminded again of a prayer delivered by
- Prophet Ibrahim Alaih Salam to Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala more than 2000
- years before the sending of Prophet
- Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
- This also certainly provides a picture
- for us who live today. Besides we also
- strive and try so that we are able to
- read the Quran as "yatluna kitaballah".
- We also pray to Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala so that our descendants, so that
- our generation is also able to read the
- Quran with "yatluna kitaballah". This
- is important for us to learn, important
- for us to understand. Prophet Ibrahim
- Alaih Salam besides paying attention to
- himself, his family, and also his
- descendants, Prophet Ibrahim prayed
- with a prayer that we are all already
- familiar with in Surah Al-Baqarah verse
- 129. Prophet Ibrahim prayed to Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. "Rabbana wabs'ath
- fihim rasulan minhum yatlu 'alaihim
- ayatika wa yu'allimuhumul-kitaba
- wal-hikmata wa yuzakkihim innaka antal'
- azizul hakim.""Our Lord, send among
- them a messenger from themselves who
- will recite to them Your verses." Let
- us synchronize that what Prophet
- Ibrahim requested of Allah is "yatlu".
- The same as the words of this verse, "
- Yatluna kitaballah.""It is not just
- reading, not just understanding, but
- applied in daily life, carried out in
- daily life. What is contained in the
- holy book of the Quran? Including this
- verse which is followed by" wa aqomus
- shalah "and performing prayer. The
- prayer is started with" yatluna
- kitaballah ". How many are there today,
- surely, among our brothers and sisters
- as Muslims, as the Islamic community
- who have not been touched by the Quran,
- who have not been able to touch the
- holy Quran. If we reflect, surely, on
- how they perform their prayers. without
- a foundation in being able to read the
- Holy Quran without practicing talaqqi
- and musyafahah, without reciting this
- holy book in front of our teachers.
- Consider this a correction for us all,
- that" wa aqomus-salah "and the prayers
- we perform are based on" yatluna
- kitaballah. "For what purpose? So that
- the prayers we perform, besides hoping
- that our prayers, both obligatory and
- voluntary, are accepted by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and surely the
- prayers we perform every day, our
- bowing and prostrating, may have a
- positive impact on our character. So
- that the prayers we perform every day
- shape our character into good, obedient
- Muslims, who are capable of setting an
- example, who are capable of spreading
- traits of compassion, who are capable
- of fostering traits of mutual help,
- support, and togetherness. When we
- perform" wa aqomus-salah "based on"
- yatluna kitaballah. "Then" wa anfaqu
- mimma razaqnahum sirran wa 'alaniyah "
- also means spending part of the
- sustenance that Allah has given us." Wa
- anfaqu mimma razaqnahum "is also based
- on" yatluna kitaballah. "We truly
- understand that Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala gives us the command that when
- we are given excess wealth, we have an
- obligation to give it as charity.
- Whether it concerns obligatory zakat or
- voluntary charity, we give it" sirran
- wa' alaniyah, "both secretly and openly
- . This is a concept for evaluation for
- us all, especially summarizing the
- descriptions in this study of Ulumul
- Quran from the first episode to the
- current one, so that we may regain our
- enthusiasm to learn the Holy Quran.
- When we are able to read the Quran well
- and correctly, then we perform our
- prayers. Because we are confident that
- the Quranic recitations we chant in
- prayer have a valid standard. Their
- articulation, length, nasalization, and
- clarity of recitation. We can control
- our own recitation. Being able to avoid
- recitation errors will certainly give
- us added value, extra value, so that"
- li yuwaffiyahum ujurahum wa yazidahum
- min fadlih, "so that He, Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala, may perfect their
- rewards and increase His bounty for
- them. In other words, when this verse
- is embodied within us, we are able to
- read the Quran well and correctly, we
- are also among those who are diligent
- in performing prayers, both obligatory
- and voluntary prayers. Then we also
- strive to be generous people. Then we
- are among those who expect a trade that
- will never result in loss forever. And
- Allah will certainly perfect our deeds.
- Allah will add to us the excellence of
- His grace upon us." Innahu Ghafurun
- Shakur. "Indeed, He, Allah, is the
- All-Forgiving, Most Appreciative. In
- the context of this verse, let us
- surely be very grateful to Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. With the
- revelation of this Holy Quran, we are
- very grateful to Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala. Because this Holy Quran
- provides guidance for us toward the
- straight path, toward the true path
- that is blessed by Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala. Let us take the guidance of the
- Quran. And once again, as God-fearing
- people, let us take a significant
- portion of our time to engage with the
- Quran by reading, studying, and
- applying it in our daily lives. And God
- willing, next week we will specifically
- discuss a part of Ulumul Quran,
- focusing on the names of the surahs of
- the Quran. And this is certainly a
- blessing that Allah has bestowed upon
- us. It is among the miracles of Prophet
- Muhammad, peace be upon him. We know
- that the Quran we have today, certainly
- regarding the order of its surah names,
- differs from the order in which they
- were revealed. And this is also a
- blessing for us all, through 'tauqifi,'
- by the guidance of Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala. The arrangement of the Holy
- Quran is very neat, discussed in
- sequence of the 114 surahs, starting
- from Al-Fatihah, Al-Baqarah, Ali Imran,
- and so on; God willing, we will study
- them to better understand this Holy
- Quran. Why is this surah called Surah
- Al-Fatihah? Why is this surah called
- Surah Al-Baqarah? Why is this surah
- called Ali Imran, and so on? God
- willing, we will study this starting
- next week. I hope this is beneficial,
- especially for myself and generally for
- the listeners and viewers of Rasil TV.
- I hope we are also among those who
- strive to benefit from the presence of
- the Holy Quran. Because the Holy Quran
- that we read and study will provide
- benefits to us in the form of peace of
- heart, tranquility of the soul, and
- great rewards when we are diligent in
- reading it. And God willing, the Quran
- we read in this world will later, on
- the Day of Judgment, be an intercession
- for us all. We pray to Allah Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala that He makes us all people
- of the Quran, who will surely attain
- happiness in this world and in the
- hereafter, and finally be admitted into
- Allah's paradise and receive His
- pleasure. Amin ya rabbal alamin. Thank
- you. Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh. Allahu Rasil TV for a
- united Islam.
