- Islam. Listeners wherever you are,

- at radiosilaturahim.com, and also Rasil
- viewers wherever you are, tuning in via
- social media like YouTube and others,
- who are still faithfully following our
- broadcast tonight. We are still in the
- evening lecture program with Ustaz
- Ahmad Sanusi, who tonight, as usual,
- continues with the study of the
- Al-Qurtubi tafsir book. We are
- discussing Quran Surah Hud, verses 61
- to 68. We have heard the discussion,
- and now we will enter the Q&A session,
- reading several questions from our
- brothers that have come in. As usual,
- Ustaz, let's group them, shall we? The
- questions,
- the first ones are two questions that
- both ask about prayer. Peace be upon
- you, and Allah's mercy and blessings,
- Ustaz.
- And peace be upon you, and Allah's
- mercy and blessings.
- From Hizma in Sukabumi. When I pray, it
- feels like my heart is not connected to
- Allah due to my lack of sincerity while
- praying, Ustaz. And is there any
- practice so that we can pray earnestly
- to Allah? Then the second question,
- this one. Okay, one moment. from M.
- Rofiq Rido. Peace be upon you, and
- Allah's mercy and blessings.
- And peace be upon you, Ustaz Ahmad
- Sanusi, may Allah have mercy on you.
- Please provide an example. Oh, this is
- not about prayer, is it? Hmm. Oh, the
- one about prayer is this one from a
- servant of Allah. Um, my question is,
- why is it that I have been praying for
- 2 years and it has not yet been granted
- by Allah? Is it because I have too many
- sins, Ustaz? I ask for your advice.
- Then we go to another question from the
- gentleman earlier, Mr. Rofiq Rido, um,
- Ustaz, may Allah have mercy on you.
- Please give an example of how we should
- fulfill the command to cover a
- brother's flaws, what is the way to do
- it?
- Okay.
- Okay. Then the next question, this is
- related to a video that is currently
- viral, Ustaz. What about the video that
- says in America, two suns were seen,
- and it even uses evidence, it is said,
- from the Quran. Please provide an
- answer, Ustaz. That's it, Ustaz. Please
- go ahead.
- Thank you very much. Peace be upon you,
- and Allah's mercy and blessings. I seek
- refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
- . In the name of Allah, the Most
- Gracious, the Most Merciful. "Wa-idza
- sa-alaka 'ibadi..." when asking, "My
- servants..." Asking whether Allah is
- near or far? "...' anni fa-inni qorib."
- about Me, "I am near." Say that I am
- near. "Ujibu da'watad-da '...""Ujibu"
- means to respond. To respond, to grant,
- who is Me? Allah, to the prayer of the
- one who prays. So is that prayer
- granted? That prayer is granted by
- Allah. "Ujibu," I respond. To the
- prayer of the one who prays, when he
- prays; so that prayer is definitely
- granted. Why has it been 2 years?
- Perhaps Allah has provided something
- else instead. The proof is that until
- now he can listen to Rasil, that is a
- blessing. If God hadn't answered in
- such a way, and a family member had
- passed away instead, that would be even
- more complicated. So don't dwell on
- what is lost, but focus on what still
- remains. If you have 100,000 and lose
- 10,000, keep your mind on the 90,000.
- Don't fixate on the 10,000 that were
- lost. If you own three rental
- properties, and one has problems. Focus
- on the two properties that have no
- problems.
- Something like that. God willing, so
- that we may have gratitude.
- Falyastajibu li, are our prayers
- answered based on our deeds?
- Falyastajibu, draw near to God, follow
- all of God's commands. Don't forget
- that istijabah. Wal yukminu bi, always
- believe in God, trusting that God
- surely grants our wishes according to
- our capacity. If we aren't able to
- handle too much power or too much money
- , we wouldn't be able to sleep,
- constantly worrying. Thinking about
- what to buy, what to buy, what to buy.
- When we have no money, we can sleep
- right away. That is laallahum yarsyudun
- . So that everyone may find guidance
- for their worldly and spiritual lives.
- That was the matter of prayer earlier.
- Now, regarding an example
- of covering faults.
- An example of covering faults.
- Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim.
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Surah. If the
- previous one was Surah Al-Baqarah, the
- continuation of fasting, please check
- Al-Baqarah regarding the continuation
- of fasting, 170 170 something? 186,
- that is Al-Baqarah. Now for an example
- of covering a brother's fault, check
- the Quran, Surah Yusuf, the 12th surah,
- verse 100.
- Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim.
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Warofaa
- bawaihi alal arsi wurru lahu sujada.
- Waqala ya abti hadza tawilu ryaya
- minablu, qad ja'alaha rabbi haqqo.
- Waqad ahsana bi idz akhrajani minas
- sijni waa bikum minal badwi, mim ba'd
- mim ba'di an nazawasyaitanu baini wa
- baina ikhwati, inna inbi lima yasya,
- innahu huwal alimul hakim. Warofa abawi
- alal arsi. When Prophet Yusuf was given
- blessings by God, the first thing he
- did was elevate the status of his
- parents, abawihi, and raised his
- parents to an honored position, alal
- arsi. Finally, his brothers all showed
- respect to Prophet Yusuf, so showing
- respect to a flag is permissible, wakru
- lahu sujada. So it is, just as when
- Umar kissed the knees of the Prophet.
- When he had a misunderstanding with Abu
- Bakar, Abu Bakar apologized because he
- felt at fault. Then because Umar had
- not yet forgiven him, he apologized
- repeatedly but was not yet forgiven.
- Finally, he asked the Prophet to help
- him get forgiveness from Umar. Then
- Umar felt regret because he did not
- immediately forgive Abu Bakar, so he
- went to look for him at Abu Bakar's
- house. He wasn't there; it turned out
- Abu Bakar was at the Prophet's house.
- As soon as he reached the Prophet, he
- realized that the Prophet was actually
- displeased. Why was there an issue
- among the companions that led them not
- to forgive each other? Then the
- companion Umar immediately knelt and
- kissed his two knees. What is this?
- The Prophet's two knees. That is a
- Hadith from Bukhari.
- So it is a Bukhari Hadith. Then, once
- he kissed them, Sayyidina Abu Bakar
- actually cried. So Sayyidina Abu Bakar
- said to the Prophet, "Prophet, the one
- at fault is me, not companion Umar."
- Just imagine, that is extraordinary. "O
- Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I was the
- one who was unjust." He said that
- repeatedly. So, "hatta asfaq Abu Bakrin
- faj'ala rukbatai yaj'uani." That story
- is immortalized in Hadith Bukhari
- number 3661. Fathul Bari volume 7,
- pages 21 to 49, starting from page 21
- on the bottom left. That is how the
- companions used to cover for one
- another. Now, let us look at the
- example set by Prophet Yusuf. "Waqala
- ya abati hadza takwilu ru'yaya.""O my
- father, this is the interpretation of
- my dream from before.""Qod ja'alaha
- rabbi haqqo.""My dream has been made a
- reality by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.""
- Waqad ahsana bi.""And indeed my Lord
- has been kind to me.""Idz akhrojani,"
- when He brought me out, "minas sijni,"
- from prison. "Sijn" means prison. My
- life, economy, status, and so on became
- better since Allah brought me out of
- prison. Look, Prophet Yusuf said "minas
- sijni"(from prison), not "minal jubbi"(
- from the well). If it were "jubbi," the
- well, Prophet Yusuf would have been
- speaking the truth as it was, saying my
- life became good since I left the well.
- That would mean he didn't cover his
- brothers' faults, because the ones who
- pushed him into the well were his
- brothers. Whereas Prophet Yusuf entered
- prison because of someone else. So that
- is how Prophet Yusuf tried to cover his
- brothers 'flaws, both before others and
- his family, in this case, his parents.
- "Wa ja'akum minal badwi mim ba'di an
- nazagha baini.""You came from the
- desert after..." So "nazagha" happened,
- which is a disagreement, in our
- language. "Waswasa bisy-syaitanu baini
- wa baina ikhwati." So he did not blame
- his brothers. Perhaps we have been
- pitted against each other by others. "
- Baini wa baina ikhwati." And he used
- the word "ikhwah"(brothers). "Ikhwah"
- refers to "innamal mu'minuna ikhwah"(
- verily believers are brothers). It
- seems he truly forgot his brothers'
- mistakes. Because the term "ikhwah" is
- actually closer than just siblings. He
- felt and considered that if his
- brothers had flaws, they had already
- repented. That is why he used the term
- "ikhwah," and they were closer to him
- than he was to himself before Allah,
- and their relationship was truly
- brotherly. "Inna rabbi latifun."
- Because Allah is the Most Kind. How
- could he not be kind? How could he not
- cover his brothers 'flaws? "Lima yasya'
- innahu huwal 'alimul hakim." One.
- Secondly, when his brothers felt guilty
- and sincerely apologized to Prophet
- Yusuf, Prophet Yusuf actually chose to
- forget. Look at Prophet Yusuf's answer.
- "Qulu tallahi laqod asarokallahu'
- alaina wa in kunna la-khothi'in.""
- Forgive me, Prophet Yusuf, I was truly
- in the wrong." My mistake, I apologize,
- I was wrong. I was wrong. What did
- Prophet Yusuf reply? Not that. Yes, you
- were wrong, you shouldn't have done
- that. La tathriba alaykumul yauma
- yaghfirullahu lakum wa huwa arhamur
- rahimin. La tathriba alaykum. Let it go
- , just forget the past problems. Let's
- close the matter. Let's bury it deep.
- Let's look to the future. That is true
- nobility. Prophet Yusuf was
- extraordinary. So now, do not dwell on
- it. There is no more blaming each other
- , no one feels wronged. La tathriba
- alaykumul yauma yaghfirullahu lakum.
- Why? Because Allah has already forgiven
- your shortcomings. Wa huwa arhamur
- rahimin. Allah Himself is the most
- forgiving, the most merciful. Since I
- have been blessed by Allah with health,
- wealth, and status. How could I, in
- such a state, fail to cover the faults
- of those who are weak? What we are
- discussing is Surah Yusuf, the 12th
- chapter, from verses 91, 92 up to verse
- 100. And so, regarding what was
- mentioned earlier? It's like a
- video
- a video where the sun and moon merge.
- That’s roughly what it was. Well,
- that is a lie. Why is it a lie? Because
- the verse they use is about the end
- times; if they truly merged, it would
- be the apocalypse. Auzubillahi
- minash-shaytanir-rajeem.
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Huwalladzi
- ja'alasyamsa diya wal qamara nura.
- Quran, Surah Yunus. Surah Yunus verse 5
- . It may look like two, and it could be
- camera trickery; it might look like two
- , but it's not the sun and moon
- aligning, it's a reflection. The moon
- is actually a reflection. The sun's
- light reflects onto the moon. That
- reflection is real. That is from Surah
- Yunus verse 5. But they aren't there
- together, because they cannot meet.
- They are creations of Allah that cannot
- gather, the sun and the moon.
- Lash-shamsu yanbaghi laha an
- tudrikal-qamara wa lal-laylu
- sabiqun-nahar. That is Quran, Surah
- Ya-Sin verse 40. It is impossible for
- the sun to catch up to the moon. That
- is the easiest way to explain it.
- Wal-laylu sabiqun-nahar. Likewise, let
- alone getting ahead, even gathering is
- impossible. Surah Ya-Sin verse 40. If
- they were to gather, it is mentioned in
- Surah Al-Qiyamah verse 9. Wa
- jumi'asy-shamsu wal-qamaru. That is a
- sign of the apocalypse. If you don't
- believe it, look at the preceding
- verses. Yas'alu ayyana yawmul-qiyamah.
- They ask, "When is the Day of Judgment?
- " It is answered in Surah Al-Qiyamah
- verses 6 through 9. The Day of Judgment
- will come when eyesight is dazed and
- the moon is eclipsed. That is why when
- there is a solar or lunar eclipse,
- scholars don't get excited, take
- selfies, or celebrate; they pray. Why
- is that? Fear of the end times. Because
- those are signs of the apocalypse. Wa
- jumi'asy-shamsu. And at the time of the
- real apocalypse, the sun and moon are
- brought together. Gathered. So they
- cannot meet on their own, except when
- it is time for the apocalypse, then
- they are gathered. Is Al-qamaru a
- passive voice construction or what? The
- sun is the naibul fa'il, and the moon
- is as well. So what is there is a
- reflection. It is not something that
- joins the sun and the moon together.
- After all, we should recite many dhikr
- to Allah if we encounter such things.
- Subhanakallahumma wabihamdik, I bear
- witness that there is no god but You, I
- ask for Your forgiveness, and peace be
- upon you, and the mercy of Allah and
- His blessings.
- And peace be upon you, and the mercy of
- Allah and His blessings. We thank you,
- Ustaz, may Allah reward you with
- goodness for the knowledge you have
- shared with us all this evening. God
- willing, it is very beneficial, and as
- a form of gratitude, we must practice
- it and try to convey it to our other
- brothers who could not follow it. And
- we also thank our brothers and sisters
- very much for being together this
- evening. We apologize if there are
- questions that were not read due to
- limited time. God willing, brothers and
- sisters can meet Ustaz Ahmad Sanusi
- again in our Fathul Bari study on
- Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. And we
- who are on duty also take our leave, I
- am Joar, Dedi is behind the camera,
- Bang Yusuf is at the operator desk,
- Fajar is at the switcher, along with
- our friends on duty in the field. We
- apologize for any mistakes and
- shortcomings. Wassalamu'alaikum wa
- rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Peace be
- upon you, and the mercy of Allah and
- His blessings. Yeah.
