Alright, brothers 2:49 and sisters. Let us first greet our 2:51 guest for this morning. Peace be upon 2:53 you, and Allah's mercy and blessings, 2:54 Ustaz. 2:54 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 2:55 mercy and blessings. 2:56 Masyaallah. It has been almost how many 2:58 weeks, Ustaz? Yes, 2:59 three weeks. 3:00 No news. Masyaallah. Where were you, 3:03 Ustaz? If I may ask, Ustaz, 3:04 yes. Those 3 weeks, 3:07 my activities were indeed dense. So, 3:10 Yes. 3:10 I unexpectedly collapsed. 3:13 Oh, goodness. 3:14 I had a fever and chills. 3:16 Yeah. 3:17 Fever, chills, and a cough. The cough 3:19 lasted a while. 3:20 Yeah. Yeah. Voice was not hoarse. 3:23 Even if I had forced myself to 3:24 broadcast, it wouldn't have been 3:26 possible these past 3 weeks. 3:28 In the end, I was on bed rest at home 3:31 to recover. Essentially, I just got 3:34 sick. 3:35 It wasn't COVID, just my turn to be ill 3:39 . 3:39 Masyaallah, hopefully, you are always 3:42 protected by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, 3:44 Ustaz. 3:44 And let us pray, brothers and sisters, 3:46 that Ustaz Umar is always granted 3:48 health by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 3:50 Amen. Amen, O Lord of the worlds. 3:52 Alright. Surely, brothers and sisters 3:55 have missed listening directly to the 3:58 sermon from Ustaz Umar, still within 4:01 the Tafsir Ibn Kathir study, God 4:03 willing, Ustaz. 4:05 And we will take from Quran Surah 4:08 Al-Kahf, in the 18th surah and the 4:11 final verse. So, the final verse is 4:14 verse 110. God willing, Ustaz. The 4:17 discussion, 4:18 Ustaz Umar, for this morning. I invite 4:22 all brothers and sisters to open your 4:25 Mushaf, the Quran, to Surah Al-Kahfi, 4:28 verse 110, the 18th chapter. 4:32 The timing is just right, isn't it, 4:34 Ustaz? Because tonight, we will enter 4:35 the night of Friday, right? 4:36 Yes. 4:37 So, we are encouraged to read Surah 4:39 Al-Kahfi, Ustaz. Yes, Masha Allah. 4:41 Very well, Ustaz. We cannot wait to 4:44 listen to the tausiah from Ustaz Umar. 4:47 But before we listen, let us open this 4:49 morning's tausiah session by reciting 4:52 the prayer for seeking knowledge. 4:54 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Rabbi zidni 4:56 ilman. Allahummanfa'ni bima 'allamtani 4:59 wa' allimni ma yanfa'uni warzuqni ' 5:01 ilman yanfa'uni. Amin. 5:04 Alright, Ustaz, please proceed 5:06 with the tausiah. 5:10 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 5:12 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 5:14 wabarakatuh. 5:15 Wa'alaikumussalam. 5:17 Innalhamdalillah nahmaduhu 5:19 wanasta'inuhu wanastaghfiruh, wa 5:21 na'udzubillahi min syururi anfusina 5:23 wamin sayyi'ati a'malina. Man 5:26 yahdihillahu fala mudhillalah, waman 5:29 yudhlil fala hadiyalah. Amma ba'd. To the loyal 5:46 listeners of Rasil and viewers of Rasil 5:49 television wherever you are. 5:53 Alhamdulillahirabbil 'alamin. For three 5:55 weeks, I could not be present due to 5:58 health issues, but alhamdulillah, now 6:02 we are back on air. I greet all the 6:06 listeners, and I hope all of you, 6:09 wherever you are, are in good health. 6:13 And always, I want to leave a message 6:16 to take good care of your health, right 6:19 ? Eat food that can actually support 6:23 your health, because there are foods 6:26 that, when consumed, actually cause 6:28 illness. 6:31 Yes, health is something very precious. 6:35 Therefore, everyone must be able to 6:38 maintain this health. If, like me, you 6:43 fall ill for three weeks, be patient 6:47 and seek a solution or treatment, right 6:50 ? In the end, I relied on honey and 6:54 ginger. Because what was affected these 6:58 past three weeks was a cough and my 7:00 vocal cords. The fever and chills were 7:05 gone, but my voice was lost and hoarse. 7:08 And I hope this morning, insya Allah, 7:11 even though we insya Allah, in this 7:17 short time, we will discuss the last 7:20 verse of Surah Al-Kahfi, where Suratul 7:26 Kahfi, as Anis mentioned earlier, has 7:29 many virtues related to it, especially 7:32 on this Friday night. So for those who 7:38 make it a habit to read Suratul Kahfi 7:41 from week to week, they will always 7:43 receive light, 7:46 from the week they read it until the 7:48 next week. So from this Friday night 7:51 until the next, they will always be 7:52 within the light of Allah Subhanahu wa 7:54 ta'ala. 7:56 Yes. And among the benefits of Suratul 8:00 Kahfi is that if one memorizes the 8:04 first ten verses or the last ten verses 8:08 , from 100 to 110, they will be' ushima 8:11 minad dajjal '. 8:14 They will be protected from the fitnah 8:15 (tribulation) of the Dajjal. 8:17 Yes, indeed. Furthermore, Surah Al-Kahf 8:22 , if read regularly every Thursday 8:25 night or Friday, will provide an 8:28 extraordinary impact on our bodies, 8:31 right? Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala's 8:35 protection in Surah Al-Kahf is a weekly 8:38 protection. It is not that Allah does 8:42 not protect humans every day, but there 8:45 is Allah's protection that is weekly in 8:47 nature, you see. So, Surah Al-Kahf is 8:51 one of the chapters that protects 8:53 Allah's servants from various trials of 8:56 life, especially the trial of the 8:59 Dajjal. And this is a requirement for 9:03 someone who wants to be saved from the 9:05 trial of the Dajjal. The first 10 9:09 verses of Surah Al-Kahf. And the last 9:13 10 verses can protect one from the 9:15 trial of the Dajjal. This verse, 9:21 brothers and sisters, gives us 9:27 information about similarities— 9:32 similarities in creation even though 9:34 the tasks are different, right? When 9:37 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala says, " 9:39 A'udzubillahi minash-shaytani-r-rajim." 9:42 "Qul innama ana basyarum mithlukum yuha 9:46 ilayya.""Yuha ilayya annama ilahukum 9:55 ilahuw wahid.""Faman kana yarju liqa'a 9:59 Rabbihi""falya'mal' amalan salihan wa 10:04 la yushrik bi 'ibadati Rabbihi ahada." 10:09 Say, O Muhammad, to those around you 10:12 from the groups of polytheists, 10:14 disbelievers, and hypocrites. That you 10:19 are, or rather, I am—an ordinary 10:25 human being like you. It is just that 10:28 the difference lies in our life tasks. 10:31 Hmm. It is only that I have been given 10:33 revelation by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 10:35 . What does that revelation contain? 10:40 The revelation contains information 10:43 about the oneness of Allah Subhanahu wa 10:45 ta'ala. About how we believe in the 10:49 existence of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 10:52 Therefore, it is emphasized here, " 10:54 annama ilahukum ilahuw wahid." Verily, 10:58 Allah is your God. If interpreted, " 11:03 ilah" might mean the worshipped one or 11:05 something similar to Lord, right? Your 11:09 God, or the Being worthy of your 11:12 worship, who is only one, the Unique. " 11:17 Ilahuw wahid," right? "Ilahuw wahid." 11:21 That is, the one and only God. 11:26 Therefore, when you worship Allah 11:27 Subhanahu wa ta'ala, the One I 11:28 mentioned earlier, "faman kana yarju 11:33 liqa'a Rabbihi." Therefore, for whoever 11:38 has the desire, the longing—or one 11:41 could say, the aspiration—to meet 11:44 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala in the 11:47 Hereafter in a state of happiness, 11:50 peace, and serenity. In this world, 11:54 they must "falya'mal' amalan salihan," 11:57 perform various kinds of righteous 12:00 deeds. And do not ever commit shirk. " 12:05 Wa la yushrik bi 'ibadati Rabbihi ahada 12:08 ." And do not commit shirk when 12:11 worshipping Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 12:15 Now, Allah emphasizes it again here: " 12:19 bi' ibadati Rabbihi ahada." Do not let 12:24 us associate others with Allah. This 12:28 verse, Subhanallah, is a verse that 12:31 acts as a—if you could call it a 12:37 filter, a filtering verse. If we are 12:41 panning for gold, not everything in the 12:44 pan is gold; there is sand, there are 12:47 rocks, mixed with soil, and other 12:50 earthly materials. Only when it is 12:53 cleaned of earthly materials other than 12:56 gold, the gold will appear. So, this is 13:00 also a chapter or a verse that filters 13:02 our faith. A filter for mankind to see 13:07 who truly believes in Allah. Or the 13:11 other way around, you know. And here, 13:14 this verse even proves that there are 13:18 those who claim to be Muslim but 13:21 possess traits of hypocrisy. This verse 13:26 is truly extraordinary for us to study 13:29 together regarding the conditions and 13:32 signs of the Day of Judgment. Regarding 13:35 the signs of the Day of Judgment. 13:38 Because this verse relates to how 13:41 Dhul-Qarnayn built the barrier in China 13:44 ; the mufassirun, or the commentators, 13:51 interpret the barrier built by 13:54 Dhul-Qarnayn as the wall located in 13:58 China. Some even interpret Gog and 14:02 Magog as the Chinese people. When he 14:08 understood the nature of Gog and Magog, 14:12 the hadiths of the Prophet peace be 14:15 upon him regarding the moral corruption 14:19 within their community, and their 14:22 religious decay. And then, the 14:28 behaviors found within the Gog and 14:34 Magog community were, according to him, 14:40 all present within the Chinese nation. 14:47 Regarding food, clothing, and behavior. 14:51 Let us take a look. Allahu Akbar. It is 14:54 no secret anymore, regarding their food 14:58 —pork, right? 15:00 Some of them even own pig farms that, 15:03 if you calculate the annual profit, 15:06 reach 400 trillion. 15:10 Amazing, right? 15:11 Astonishing. 15:12 Yes, up to 400 trillion, because pork 15:15 by-products can be developed into 15:18 various needs and products they 15:21 manufacture; and God knows best, we 15:24 might already be consuming them. You 15:29 see. Therefore, in the end times, the 15:34 Prophet said many diseases will emerge 15:37 caused by our failure to filter food 15:40 sources that come from the enemies of 15:43 Allah and the enemies of the Ummah of 15:46 Muhammad. This goes back to that verse. 15:51 So, if we look at the reality of this 15:55 verse, we see that we are not actually 15:59 different from Prophet Muhammad. 16:04 In terms of creation, he too, peace be 16:08 upon him, was an ordinary human. "Ana 16:12 basyarun mitslukum." I am a human being 16:15 just like you. Only his mission 16:19 distinguishes him from us. His mission 16:23 was as the final of the prophets, the 16:26 seal of prophethood. That is him, peace 16:31 be upon him. So, in his history, if we 16:34 look back at his life from the 16:36 beginning of his prophethood until his 16:38 passing, it was truly extraordinary. 16:42 The magnitude of his 23-year mission of 16:45 da'wah. Thirteen years in the holy city 16:48 of Mecca, right, Anis? 16:49 Yes. Ten years building a civilization 16:54 in Medina was not an easy feat; no 16:57 matter the stature of the prophets and 17:01 messengers, if not for the decree of 17:05 Allah, we encounter many difficulties 17:10 in the history we read. So, my brothers 17:16 and sisters in faith whom Allah honors, 17:18 we are indeed the same as him, peace be 17:20 upon him, in terms of creation. See, it 17:24 means that in terms of creation, there 17:26 is no difference between the prophets 17:28 and us humans. Yes, there is no 17:31 difference. They were created starting 17:35 from the marriage of their parents, 17:37 right? Then they were conceived, a 17:40 mother carried them, gave birth, and so 17:43 on; it’s no different. This means, 17:47 brothers in faith, if we are not 17:48 different from the prophets, then our 17:50 lives should not be different either. 17:54 So, our lives, too, must not be 17:56 different. What does that mean? Well, 18:00 if the prophets and messengers were 18:02 pious, then we must also be pious. The 18:06 prophets and messengers taught goodness 18:08 . Yes, we must also teach goodness. The 18:13 messengers and prophets stayed away 18:15 from Allah's prohibitions, right? They 18:19 did not drink alcohol, they did not 18:22 commit adultery, and they did not 18:25 violate the sharia. Well, we must be 18:28 like that too. Because that common 18:31 element is what we must identify. Now, 18:35 it is in that common element that we 18:37 should feel proud and grateful. Oh, it 18:40 means I am the same as the prophets 18:41 regarding our creation. So how 18:46 beautiful it is when we delve deep into 18:48 the fact that the physical nature of 18:50 the prophets and messengers is no 18:53 different from ours. It would be best 18:56 if we lived like them too. That is, 18:59 that is the beauty of it. But when it 19:02 comes to duties, well, their duties as 19:04 prophets and messengers are very 19:06 different from ours. There is a 19:10 similarity here in the Messenger's 19:13 words, right, that the prophets did not 19:17 bequeath wealth to their people, but 19:20 rather bequeathed knowledge. And the 19:24 function of the scholars is as heirs of 19:27 the prophets. There is a similarity in 19:29 this aspect. So, in the matter of how 19:33 to continue the relay of the 19:36 Messenger’s da'wah, peace be upon him 19:39 . Now, here, brothers, once again, we 19:50 humans will eventually reach the end of 19:56 our allotted time. Yes, we will leave 20:01 this world, as we are reminded by Allah 20:03 and the Messenger, peace be upon him, 20:05 in this regard. Yes, our origins are 20:08 the same, but remember, our standing in 20:11 the hereafter will be different. Our 20:13 similarities in this world will result 20:15 in differences in the hereafter. If you 20:18 want to stay the same, well, do 20:21 something. What must be done? Righteous 20:25 deeds. So perform righteous deeds. 20:29 Later, we will meet in the hereafter, 20:32 just as we share the same creation in 20:34 this world. Even though our duties are 20:38 different, in the hereafter, we will 20:41 have a similar reunion. A meeting with 20:45 Allah; in fact, according to several 20:48 accounts, subhanallah, who says we 20:51 cannot live in paradise with the 20:53 Messenger, peace be upon him? Now, it 20:57 just requires hard work here in this 21:00 world, right? Who says it is difficult 21:04 for us to live with the Messenger, 21:06 peace be upon him, in paradise? It just 21:10 requires, once again, effort and 21:12 diligence, as the Messenger himself 21:14 said, "I and the guardian of an orphan 21:17 will be like this in paradise." I and 21:20 those who look after the needs of 21:23 orphans, right. Are like this in 21:26 Paradise, there is no distance, as if 21:28 the distance is only like this. Also, 21:32 in a hadith, the Prophet said when, if 21:35 I'm not mistaken, Mu'adh bin Jabal 21:37 stayed at the Prophet's house, peace be 21:40 upon him. Then at night, he prepared a 21:45 vessel containing water for the Prophet 21:48 , for the Prophet's needs. For wudu, 21:52 for everything. So the Prophet said, " 21:56 Ask, ask me whatever you desire." What 22:02 did he say? Mu'adh bin Jabal said, "I 22:05 wish to accompany you in Paradise." 22:09 Mashallah. "I only want to accompany 22:13 you in Paradise, O Messenger of Allah." 22:17 So the Prophet said, "Is there anything 22:19 else you ask for besides that?" Mu'adh 22:23 bin Jabal said, "That is it, that is 22:25 all, O Messenger, that is the only 22:28 thing I ask for." So the Prophet said 22:31 in response, "You must prostrate often. 22:34 " So if you truly want to live with me 22:39 in Paradise, to accompany me in 22:41 Paradise, try to increase your 22:42 prostrations in your life. Now, this is 22:46 a kind of guidance from the Prophet, 22:48 peace be upon him, for his followers 22:50 who want to live with him, right. First 22:54 , taking care of the needs of orphans ' 22:56 lives, right. Second, that we often 22:58 prostrate. The meaning of prostration 23:02 here is perhaps the prostration 23:04 intended is varied; when we enter the 23:06 mosque, there is the Tahiyat al-Masjid, 23:09 right. When we perform mandatory 23:12 prayers, there are sunnah rawatib, 23:14 right. When we wake up at night, there 23:17 is Tahajjud and there is Witr; that is 23:19 where it lies. You must prostrate often 23:23 . So if you want to live with me in 23:26 Paradise and be close to me, just like 23:29 the person who takes care of an orphan, 23:31 you should increase your prostrations 23:34 in the world. Ah, that is it. Now, 23:38 brothers, this is actually our 23:40 opportunity to try to place ourselves. 23:47 To place ourselves so that we are, what 23:49 you call it, truly aligned with our 23:52 life's goals. Now, this interpretation 23:55 is long, Anis. This one verse has a 23:59 very long interpretation, which 24:02 describes information from several 24:04 similar hadiths that, essentially, 24:07 remind us that, Subhanallah, while 24:10 living in this world, we cannot play 24:13 around. Yes, there is a narration, if I 24:19 am not mistaken in the narration of Abu 24:25 Daud, that the world was created, the 24:30 world was placed for trials, "in", "the 24:35 world was placed for trials." That the 24:41 world was placed for the occurrence of, 24:44 for various kinds of trials and 24:46 disasters to happen within it, 24:48 including what happened in Cianjur. 24:51 Heh. 24:51 Right. That is proof for us as 24:55 believers, for those of us who have 24:58 faith and wisdom, we must position 25:01 ourselves to be patient, because this 25:05 world is a place where disasters will 25:08 inevitably happen. Now, the Messenger, 25:12 peace be upon him, described the groups 25:14 of patient people from his ummah. 25:16 Allahu Akbar. Yes, when the Messenger 25:20 described patient people in the 25:22 hereafter. So, what did the Messenger 25:24 say? In the hereafter, those who were 25:28 patient will be called, "Ainas-sobirun? 25:30 " Where are the people who were patient 25:33 while living in this world? 25:36 Automatically, those who were patient 25:38 will stand up in the hereafter. They 25:43 will rise. When they stand, they will 25:48 be ushered forward. "Udhulul jannah." 25:52 Please, enter Paradise. Meaning that 25:54 those who are patient will easily enter 25:56 Paradise. 25:57 Paradise. Then, the angels witness this 26:01 until some ask them about the patient 26:04 ones. "O patient ones, what patience 26:08 did you practice in the world that made 26:10 you enter Paradise so easily like this? 26:12 " Like that. So the patient people 26:18 reply that they were patient in three 26:22 things. First, patience in carrying out 26:26 Allah's commands. That is profound. 26:29 Allah's commands are nothing but the 26:31 pillars of Islam and the pillars of 26:33 faith, right? 26:36 Second, we were patient in refraining 26:39 from committing deeds forbidden by 26:41 Allah, right? Shirk, disbelief, 26:46 hypocrisy, consuming forbidden food and 26:50 drink, we abandoned those. Stealing, 26:56 robbing, corruption, we abandoned those 27:00 . Betraying, lying, we abandoned those. 27:05 So essentially, the patient people who 27:08 entered Paradise easily always carried 27:10 out Allah's commands and always avoided 27:13 His prohibitions. What is the third 27:15 thing? Whenever Allah sends any form of 27:19 calamity, we are patient. Whatever 27:25 disaster Allah sends down, and these 27:28 disasters are related to the universe, 27:30 right? There are earthquakes, 27:34 landslides, flash floods, volcanic 27:37 eruptions, tsunamis, and various other 27:40 things. Those are things we will 27:43 experience in this world. When we are 27:47 patient upon the arrival of Allah's 27:49 creatures that become our life's trials 27:51 , it turns out it makes it easier for 27:54 us to enter Paradise. Now, this is 27:58 interpreted by scholars as to what kind 28:00 of patience is meant. The patience 28:04 meant is clear, brothers. Those who 28:07 suffer the disaster must clearly be 28:09 patient, right? And we who are not 28:12 affected by the disaster must also be 28:14 patient. What form does that patience 28:16 take? Patience to help. 28:19 Patience to assist. 28:21 Assist. Patience to provide some form 28:24 of care for them. Whether through 28:27 trauma healing, right? Or by physically 28:31 going directly to the disaster site, 28:33 like I did before in Aceh, Padang, and 28:36 Lombok. For now, I haven't been to 28:39 Cianjur, actually, this week I want to 28:42 register. 28:43 So that I can 28:44 be sent to Cianjur. But you also have 28:48 to consider your health; if you go 28:49 there and get sick, you'll just be a 28:50 burden to others, right? That is the 28:53 true meaning of patience. So, someone 28:56 who is patient when facing a disaster 28:58 must, uh, reflect on themselves: why 29:03 has this disaster suddenly been 29:05 inflicted upon us? Even though Allah 29:09 Himself has stated that it is 29:10 impossible for Him to be unjust, right? 29:14 It turns out that if we delve into the 29:16 information, no disaster befalls us 29:17 except because of our own sins. That's 29:20 it, Anis. So, what is the purpose of 29:23 this disaster, really? To be used as a 29:26 moment of reflection. To be used for 29:29 reflection that leads to an awareness 29:32 for self-evaluation. Nis. Now, this is 29:35 what the Ustadz meant earlier, that 29:37 Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam 29:40 will become what? Will become our 29:43 companion in Paradise when we are like 29:45 that. When we follow the guidance of 29:48 the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 29:50 wasallam precisely. Therefore, oh 29:53 brothers of faith, *faman kana yarju 29:55 liqa'a rabbihi fal-ya'mal' amalan 29:57 saliha*. So whoever has the ambition, 30:02 the desire, the wish to meet Allah in a 30:05 state of peace, safety, tranquility, 30:09 and even happiness, then do righteous 30:12 deeds. Now, our righteous deeds are 30:15 really being challenged, you know. 30:18 Palestine isn't independent yet, is it, 30:20 Anis? Gaza is still being bombarded, 30:22 right? And the lands of our brothers 30:26 are still being usurped by the Jews, 30:28 right? Now, this is also a challenge 30:31 for our*da'wah*. There are 30:33 extraordinary forms of immorality. 30:35 Satan worship, like on the date of what 30:38 ? October, the 21st. Yes. 30:42 There is Halloween, where Satan is 30:45 worshipped using attributes. Yeah. 30:48 Horrifying attributes with demonic 30:51 costumes. *Nauzubillah minzalik*. There 30:54 are also elements of LGBT which are now 30:56 rampant again. 30:58 For several years, this name didn't 31:00 appear, but now it has resurfaced. In 31:03 fact, there is currently a sporting 31:05 event in Qatar, right? Alhamdulillah, 31:08 Qatar is a country with strong Islamic 31:11 values and it rejects LGBT propaganda. 31:16 Issues like these are challenges that 31:19 prepare us for*da'wah*, you know. 31:27 Whoever wants to meet Allah must do 31:29 righteous deeds. Our opportunity to do 31:32 righteous deeds is through*da'wah*. * 31:35 Da'wah*to the world so that what? So 31:37 that this world is free from the LGBT 31:39 world. Because it is very dangerous, 31:42 right? The dangers of LGBT are 31:44 extraordinary. For men to pair with men 31:47 , women with women, that is the same as 31:50 inviting the wrath of Al- 31:52 Allah. 31:53 Allah. It will be as it was for the 31:56 people of Lot, right?*Naudubillah 31:58 minzalik*. Also, there is polytheism (* 32:01 shirk*) everywhere now. *Nauzubillah*, 32:03 it is everywhere. Especially when we 32:05 talk about this*shirk*. The children of 32:09 Indonesia will always be ensnared by 32:11 the world of*shirk*. There are so many 32:14 Muslims facing the trial of*shirk*, 32:17 such as the*shirk*involved when we are 32:20 about to plow the fields, for example. 32:24 There are things like offerings, right, 32:26 at the corners of the rice field 32:28 embankments. What is the purpose? 32:31 Supposedly for Dewi Sri, the Goddess of 32:34 Rice, to make the farmers 'crops 32:38 fertile and so on. Whereas only Allah 32:41 can do that, right? Then there is the 32:44 sea offering ritual, right? Sea 32:46 offerings on the beach for what? So 32:49 that Nyai Roro Kidul is not enraged, 32:51 they say. Whereas the one who provides 32:54 the fish is only 32:55 the one who owns the fish is only Allah 32:57 . Is that not so? 32:59 Then on certain occasions, for instance 33:01 , to keep a mountain from erupting, 33:03 they worship the rocks on the side of 33:05 the mountain. Subhanallahil' azim. Even 33:08 , nauzubillah minzalik, in matters of, 33:12 uh, vehicle emission testing, even that 33:18 is done through shirk (idolatry). Uh, a 33:20 clay pot containing flower-scented 33:22 water is smashed, right, on the nose of 33:24 the vehicle that is going to be tested 33:26 for emissions, right? How could there 33:29 possibly be any connection, what could 33:31 it be, 33:31 if not because of shirk. Now, these are 33:34 preparations that are not fit for 33:36 humans to make. When we want to meet 33:40 Allah, how can we expect to meet Allah 33:42 in the hereafter while committing shirk 33:44 , disbelief, and hypocrisy? Nauzubillah 33:47 minzalik. We should think with, uh, a 33:51 proper mind that aligns with the nature 33:54 and character of the mind itself. Uh, " 33:57 Falyamal 'amalan solihan wala yusyrik 33:59 bi'ibadati.""Ahada." And do not ever 34:04 mix, brothers and sisters in faith, 34:08 prayer with, uh, shirk itself. Uh, the 34:13 Ustaz once said in the community that 34:17 what is called, uh, what is called 34:21 worship, uh, true worship, uh, is when 34:25 that worship is free from shirk, yes. 34:31 Then, the most authentic form of 34:33 economy is when the economy is free 34:36 from elements of riba (usury) and 34:38 interest rates. What will truly succeed 34:42 in the world of education is when the 34:45 world of education is free from the 34:47 elements of liberalism, pluralism, and 34:50 secularism. That's how it is, Nak Anis. 34:52 And other "isms" as well, if we study 34:55 them more deeply, further, everything 34:59 we have presented in these 30 minutes, 35:02 insya Allah Ta'ala, proves how many 35:05 human preparations must be hastened for 35:08 our future meeting in the hereafter 35:11 with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala in a 35:14 state of peace, happiness, and 35:16 tranquility, where in the end, insya 35:19 Allah Ta'ala, whether we enter the 35:23 lowest or the highest level of paradise 35:25 , for us it does not matter, as long as 35:28 we can just enter paradise. Now, that 35:32 is already a great advantage. 35:34 Wallahu'alam bishawab. That is all that 35:36 can be conveyed through this very, uh, 35:39 powerful verse. And this is a study 35:42 that Muslims should really dive into 35:44 directly to analyze its exegesis, for 35:47 what purpose? So that we can be guided 35:51 by that verse to prepare ourselves 35:54 before we meet Allah Subhanahu wa 35:56 Ta'ala. Wallahu'alam bishawab. 35:58 Wallahu'alam bishawab. So we must need 36:00 provisions, Ustaz, right, when meeting 36:02 Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Masya Allah. 36:05 Yes. Well, brothers and sisters, 36:06 listeners of Radio Satriim who are 36:07 blessed by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. 36:08 We have listened to the lecture 36:11 delivered by Ustaz Umar Rasyid Hasan 36:14 with, uh, a discussion on Quran Surah 36:17 Al-Kahfi in the 18th surah at the 110th 36:20 verse 36:22 with the study of Tafsir Ibn Kathir. Alright, 41:45 Ustaz, let us proceed directly to 41:47 reading the questions that have come in 41:48 . Yes. 41:50 This morning, the first question is 41:52 from Umi Iqbal in Tangerang. 41:55 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi 41:56 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. 41:57 Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 41:58 wabarakatuh. 41:59 May the Ustaz and the Rasil crew always 42:02 be granted health by Allah Subhanahu wa 42:05 ta'ala. Amin ya Rabbal Alamin. 42:07 Is the story of Dhul-Qarnayn a story 42:10 from the past or from the future, Ustaz 42:13 ? Thank you. 42:15 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 42:16 , the Most Merciful. All praise is due 42:17 to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may 42:19 blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad 42:20 and his entire family and companions. 42:21 To proceed. Exalted are You; we have no 42:25 knowledge except what You have taught 42:26 us. Indeed, it is You who is the 42:27 All-Knowing, the All-Wise, and You are 42:28 the Generous. This story is a story 42:31 from the past whose traces were 42:33 recorded by the Quran. 42:35 The Quran, right? Regarding when it 42:39 took place? Only Allah knows, right? 42:43 When it occurred, only Allah knows. Was 42:45 he a prophet or a righteous man, 42:48 or what is it called? An ordinary 42:51 servant? 42:52 Only Allah knows. But there is a 42:55 narration that he was a just king. Why 42:59 was he named Dhul-Qarnayn? In one story 43:04 , he was struck on the right and left 43:07 sides of his head, causing things like 43:10 horns to emerge. That is how the story 43:14 goes. The truth of it returns to Allah. 43:18 Only Allah knows. That is why he is 43:21 nicknamed Dhul- 43:22 Qarnayn. A human who possesses two 43:24 horns. 43:25 Two horns. So, he was a righteous and 43:29 just king. In his time, information 43:35 about the end times had already 43:38 appeared. News about how the ummah must 43:44 be saved from the trials of life had 43:48 already begun to emerge, including 43:52 information about the future appearance 43:56 of Gog and Magog. Therefore, Allah 44:03 Subhanahu wa ta'ala gave him the task 44:06 of building a sturdy barrier made of 44:09 iron, high-quality steel that was 44:12 incredibly strong. Well, then he was 44:16 given the task of building that. What 44:19 was the purpose? The purpose of 44:23 building it was to hold back attacks, 44:27 or to contain the evils originating 44:31 from the group of Gog 44:34 and Magog. Yes, that. Now, this 44:38 happened in the past, and Dhu 44:40 al-Qarnayn has passed away, that just 44:43 king has died, but his legacy still 44:46 exists because it was the command 44:49 of Allah. Now, regarding when Gog and 44:52 Magog will emerge, and whether Gog and 44:56 Magog already exist now, 44:59 the knowledge returns to Allah. But Dhu 45:02 al-Qarnayn's legacy, meant to protect 45:05 the ummah of Muhammad peace be upon him 45:07 from the cruelty and evil brought by 45:10 Gog and Magog, is a sign that it 45:12 already exists. The physical structure 45:17 of the wall is already there. Now, an 45:21 interpretation arises: which wall in 45:24 which country was actually built by Dhu 45:27 al-Qarnayn, right, Anis? There are 45:30 questions like that in the exegesis. 45:33 The answer is that almost all exegetes 45:35 point to the wall in the country of 45:37 China. So, China actually holds a 45:41 certain significance in the Qur'an. 45:44 Yes. Yes, because a just and wise king 45:47 once lived there, whom Allah tasked 45:50 with building a wall so long, if I'm 45:53 not mistaken, how long? Is it 600 or 45:57 600 km, if I'm not mistaken? 46:00 Wallahu a'lam (Allah knows best). Try 46:01 checking it later in 46:02 600 km. Wallahu a'lam, with its 46:05 extraordinary height, sturdiness, and 46:07 thickness. So, the purpose once again, 46:10 brothers, is to avoid the tribulation 46:14 of Gog and Magog. Why is that? Because 46:18 the information about Gog and Magog is, 46:20 oh, terrible. If they come in swarms, 46:24 in swarms, 46:25 they swarm down from the mountains and 46:28 high ground into the valleys. 46:30 Everything in the valley is finished, 46:33 right? Everything in the valley is 46:34 consumed. Whether it's agricultural 46:38 land or rivers, as described in the 46:41 hadith, if they descend from the 46:44 highlands to the lowlands, the water 46:47 runs dry, everything is gone, food is 46:50 finished or destroyed, you see. 46:54 Well. Those are their traits. Now, by 46:58 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, this world, 47:01 if we look at that land, China, surely 47:03 the sources of destruction are there, 47:06 you know. So this wall's purpose is to 47:11 contain the damage caused by the group 47:14 of Gog and Magog. So, as the Ustaz said 47:19 earlier, Sheikh bin Baz stated that Gog 47:21 and Magog are the Chinese, right? 47:24 Because indeed, some of the traits of 47:26 Gog and Magog exist in the Chinese 47:28 people. Well, among them, we don't need 47:32 to go on at length about the traits, 47:34 because it's already in the, what do 47:36 you call it, information and even the 47:39 facts of life. If you asked earlier, 47:42 when did this happen in the past? This 47:45 is not about what is happening now, but 47:48 it is for the needs of Muhammad's ummah 47:50 in the future. Yes. 47:52 Because Gog and Magog will be released 47:54 at the end of time, the matter of 47:56 defense is like this, my child. Anis, 47:59 it makes sense. We are about to travel 48:02 to Bandung. 48:03 Right. 48:04 Oh, there's no road yet, for example, 48:07 there's no road. It just ends in 48:09 Purwakarta, let's say. 48:11 Further on, there's nothing. So we 48:12 build, you know, what you call ground 48:15 preparation to make a road toward 48:18 Bandung. Now, this fortress is a 48:21 preparation. 48:22 For the time when Gog and Magog are 48:24 released by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 48:26 as a trial of the end times. The 48:28 followers of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 48:30 wasallam can be saved from that trial, 48:32 you see. Of course, what kind of 48:34 followers of Muhammad? It is the 48:37 followers of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 48:39 wasallam who truly have strong faith, 48:40 good Islam, and they are those who are 48:42 obedient to Allah and His messenger. So 48:45 , this is a past event, but its legacy 48:48 is for the benefit of the ummah in the 48:51 end times. Wallahu a'lam. 48:53 Wallahu a'lam. Alright, Ustaz, there is 48:56 a caller waiting. Let's take it first. 48:58 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 48:59 wabarakatuh. 49:00 Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 49:01 wabarakatuh. 49:02 Yes. Okay. From 49:04 from Mrs. Sri, is it? 49:06 Who is this, ma'am? 49:07 Mrs. Sri. 49:08 Mrs. Sri. Where are you, Mrs. Sri? 49:10 In East Jakarta. 49:11 In East Jakarta. Please, Mrs. Sri, you 49:13 are with Ustaz Umar. 49:14 Yes. Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 49:16 wabarakatuh. 49:16 Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 49:18 wabarakatuh, Mrs. Sri. Thank you. I 49:21 want to take this opportunity to share 49:24 with you, Ustaz. I hope you are in good 49:27 health and well-being. 49:29 And under the pleasure of Allah 49:29 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Amin ya Rabb. 49:32 Ustaz, I would like to ask two points. 49:37 First, about the figure of the Prophet, 49:40 where it is said that the Prophet was 49:43 an ordinary human. 49:48 So we consider the Prophet as just a 49:51 completely ordinary human. Yes, he was 49:56 indeed an ordinary human like us, but a 49:59 chosen human. Ustaz. 50:00 That is correct. 50:02 A chosen human who must indeed be 50:04 respected and honored. But we often 50:10 hear people mention the Prophet's name 50:16 sometimes without any title, just' 50:21 Muhammad '. 50:25 Firstly, 50:26 is that not a sin, Ustaz? Secondly, 50:31 about righteous deeds. Those who 50:35 believe and do righteous deeds, as in 50:38 Surah Al-Kahf 110, will meet with Allah 50:41 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Does that mean, 50:46 regarding righteous deeds and faith, is 50:48 prayer included as a righteous deed, 50:50 Ustaz? 50:51 Allahu Akbar. 50:53 I think that's all for now, Ustaz. 50:55 Thank you for my question. 50:57 And for the answer. 50:58 Thank you. Assalamu'alaikum 50:59 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 51:00 Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 51:02 wabarakatuh. Alright, from Mrs. Sri in 51:03 East Jakarta, sir. There were two 51:04 points discussed earlier. Please. 51:06 Let us pray again for Mrs. Sri to 51:08 remain in good health, and for us all 51:10 to be in the same state. Insha'Allah. 51:14 Regarding our similarities with the 51:15 Prophet, and this is not just Prophet 51:17 Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, 51:19 but all humans, right? 51:21 There is indeed a similarity in our 51:23 creation. Yes. 51:25 what you mentioned earlier, Ustaz, is 51:27 that there is a difference in their 51:28 duties, right? 51:32 In terms of physical similarity, it is 51:34 true that he, peace be upon him, was an 51:37 ordinary human being, right? But as you 51:41 said, Mother, he was a chosen human; 51:43 that is the difference, right? 51:46 The difference between them and us is 51:48 that he was a chosen human being 51:50 brought closer by Allah to Himself. 51:53 Entrusted with the duty and, what do 51:56 you call it, the authority of 51:59 prophethood and messengership—that is 52:02 the special privilege of the prophets. 52:07 Now, that is why we see that not all 52:10 humans in this world become prophets, 52:13 you know. It is true that they were 52:17 created as humans, 52:20 from Adam until the very last human at 52:22 the end of time. Only Allah knows. Who 52:25 that might be, right? Which generation, 52:28 for example; they are all humans, after 52:31 all. But not all humans become prophets 52:34 . Yeah. 52:35 Not all humans become messengers, right 52:37 ? Ah, this is the difference. Now, 52:40 regarding these differences, brothers, 52:43 the Messenger even said that the number 52:46 of prophets sent to earth was only 52:49 240,000 if I'm not mistaken, right? 52:53 240,000. Out of that many prophets, 52:58 only 313 became messengers, 53:02 you see. Then it is filtered again from 53:07 the 313 messengers to those who would 53:11 bear the title of Ulul Azmi among the 53:15 messengers. Now, why are there such 53:20 titles? Because when looking at the 53:23 duties of prophethood and messengership 53:26 entrusted to that group, their tasks 53:29 were very heavy, 53:31 you know. 53:32 Their mission of spreading the message 53:33 was very, very difficult. The public's 53:36 rejection of their teachings at that 53:38 time was immense, 53:39 you know. Now, Allah, who is 53:41 All-Knowing regarding His creation of 53:43 humans who would become prophets. Allah 53:45 is the All-Knowing. So, among those 53:48 many prophets, some had extraordinary 53:50 firmness of conviction, right? Some had 53:55 ultimate patience, some struggled 53:58 without ceasing. Now, among them, from 54:03 the 313 messengers, only five prophets 54:08 received the title of Ulul Azmi among 54:12 the messengers, right? First, Prophet 54:16 Nuh (Noah), 54:18 yeah. Prophet Nuh's preaching was 54:19 extraordinary, right? 54:20 Isn't that so? He lived for 1,000 years 54:23 , right? 54:25 He preached for 950 years continuously. 54:28 Yes. Even after preaching for so long, 54:31 only a handful of people accepted it, 54:34 right? Even his own son and wife did 54:37 not follow his call, peace be upon him. 54:42 The second is Ibrahim, Prophet Ibrahim, 54:45 Subhanallah, Prophet Ibrahim was the 54:49 establisher of the millah, a millah 54:52 that originated from Allah Subhanahu wa 54:55 ta'ala. A millah for extraordinary 54:58 monotheism. 55:00 When he was faced with natural 55:03 phenomena, initially he considered that 55:06 the moon and stars were their gods, the 55:09 gods of humans, right? 55:11 But when the stars disappeared, and the 55:13 moon disappeared, he said, "I do not 55:15 believe in things that disappear." Then 55:17 the sun appeared, "Ah, this is bigger, 55:19 this must be God," he thought. But when 55:22 it disappeared, he said, "I am free 55:24 from the worship performed by humans. 55:27 I only worship Allah, the One." Now, 55:30 his preaching was so powerful that he 55:33 was even burned, right? 55:34 Yes. 55:35 By his own father, Nimrod. 55:38 What was the result of this? The result 55:41 of a mission that was entirely about 55:42 declaring the Oneness of Allah 55:43 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. That is why he was 55:45 appointed as one of the Ulul Azmi 55:47 messengers. Yes. Noah, Abraham, then 55:51 Moses; and Moses, subhanallah, was a 55:53 prophet who looked after the needs of 55:56 the Children of Israel. 55:59 That was Prophet Moses, and the relay 56:01 would later be continued by Prophet Is 56:03 ... 56:04 Prophet Isa. 56:05 This is an extraordinary prophet. The 56:07 prophet most frequently spoken to by 56:09 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala in the Qur'an 56:11 . Prophet Mu... 56:12 Prophet Moses. 56:14 Compared to other prophets, he was the 56:16 one spoken to the most. That's it. Then 56:19 , because their mission was so profound 56:22 , the fourth Ulul Azmi was appointed, 56:25 namely the Prophet... 56:27 Prophet Isa. Isa. 56:29 Prophet Isa, who is deified by those 56:31 who worship him, it was actually not an 56:34 easy thing. Prophet Isa rejected the 56:37 notion that he was Allah or a god. This 56:40 is recorded in Surah Al-Ma'idah. 56:43 Toward the end. Allah asked, "O Isa, 56:47 did you say to the people,' Take me and 56:49 my mother as two gods besides Allah '?" 56:52 Prophet Isa said, "You are all-knowing, 56:55 O Allah. I invited them to worship You. 57:00 But they chose to worship me instead. 57:03 Yes, at the end, Prophet Isa said," If 57:06 You punish them, I leave it to You. "" 57:10 But if You forgive them, that is Your 57:13 right. "That was how far Prophet Isa 57:15 went to introduce the Oneness of Allah. 57:18 Now, finally, to our Prophet Muhammad 57:20 sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Muhammad 57:23 bin Abdullah Al-Quraishi, of the 57:25 Quraysh tribe, was appointed as a 57:27 prophet. We know from history how many 57:30 times the Quraysh leaders attempted to 57:33 assassinate him. Right? 57:35 They tried to poison him, right? They 57:39 tried so many things, they even tried 57:43 to use black magic, or what we call' 57:47 santet 'back then, which was done by a 57:51 Jewish woman. 57:54 Such efforts illustrate the 57:56 steadfastness of the servants of Allah 57:58 who are the prophets and messengers, 58:00 especially the Ulul Azmi messengers, 58:02 the seal of the prophets, Muhammad 58:04 sallallahu alaihi wasallam, who was 58:06 appointed as an Ulul Azmi messenger. It 58:08 is true that we are the same as them 58:10 physically. It is true that we are the 58:14 same as them in creation. Ordinary 58:16 humans, as Allah says in the last part 58:18 of Surah Al-Kahf. 58:20 But indeed, they differ in their 58:22 selection. Not all humans who are the 58:26 same in body and creation are meant to 58:29 be prophets, right? Among them are 58:34 people who, through the destiny of 58:36 Allah, are able to manage human life 58:38 with its diverse desires and mindsets, 58:41 only through a prophet and messenger. 58:44 Is that not so? So this is what we must 58:48 understand. Therefore, brothers in 58:51 faith, when we hear the names of the 58:54 prophets mentioned, especially our 58:56 Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. 58:59 there must be a feeling of reverence. 59:02 There must be a feeling of reverence 59:04 for the prophet being mentioned. For 59:07 example, when hearing Prophet Musa 59:09 mentioned. Then we may say peace be 59:12 upon him. Prophet Isa peace be upon him 59:16 , Prophet Ibrahim peace be upon him. 59:20 Especially for our prophet, we say 59:22 peace and blessings of Allah be upon 59:23 him. O Allah, send prayers, peace, and 59:26 blessings upon him. That's how it is. 59:28 We should not just remain silent when 59:30 our prophet is mentioned. The Messenger 59:33 said," The stingiest of my people is 59:34 the one who, when my name is mentioned, 59:35 remains silent. "That is, the Messenger 59:39 said," The stingiest of my people is 59:41 the one who remains silent when my name 59:43 is mentioned. "Not saying, O Allah, 59:45 send prayers and peace upon him. There 59:47 are people who, when asked to pray upon 59:48 the prophet, stay silent. Those people 59:50 are stingy. But the one who says," O 59:52 Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and 59:54 upon his family and all his companions, 59:56 "that is a person who is hoped for and 59:58 will receive ten virtues, you see. Now, 1:00:00 this is the stingy side of the 1:00:01 followers of Muhammad, peace be upon 1:00:02 him. Then, dear brothers and sisters 1:00:05 whom Allah loves, in essence, we really 1:00:07 must feel, who are we in the presence 1:00:09 of the Prophet, peace be upon him? That 1:00:12 feeling of reverence is not just on the 1:00:15 lips, but it resides in the heart. So 1:00:19 when we are convinced, our respect for 1:00:21 the Prophet is voiced by the mouth. It 1:00:24 shouldn't be careless when mentioning 1:00:26 the Prophet, just his name alone. Like, 1:00:28 Muhammad. It shouldn't be like that, 1:00:30 right? So it should be said at the 1:00:32 beginning or at the end, our Prophet 1:00:35 Muhammad, peace be upon him. There is a 1:00:38 story, this has been shared by another 1:00:41 Ustaz Husein. There was a professor who 1:00:44 mentioned our Prophet's name, just 1:00:45 Muhammad, like that. But when it was 1:00:49 his time to speak," Please, Professor, 1:00:51 it is now your turn to speak, "his name 1:00:54 was mentioned. 1:00:56 He. 1:00:56 Then he got angry," Why didn't you 1:00:58 mention my title, Professor Dr. 1:01:00 so-and-so? "Like that. 1:01:02 The MC replied," You also mentioned the 1:01:04 name Muhammad, not Prophet Muhammad, 1:01:06 peace be upon him, aren't you ashamed? 1:01:09 "Now, these kinds of ethics are what 1:01:12 make the meaning of reverence within us 1:01:16 not just on the lips, but what? Shown 1:01:20 by a sincere heart when honoring our 1:01:22 Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. 1:01:25 That is the first point. The second is 1:01:26 regarding righteous deeds. Is prayer a 1:01:29 type 1:01:30 of righteous deed? It is the most 1:01:33 primary type of righteous deed. So how 1:01:37 many people, servants of Allah, this 1:01:39 ummah of Muhammad, who with their 1:01:41 prayers hope their righteous deeds are 1:01:43 accepted by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:01:46 Whether it's Tahajjud, Witr, Dhuha, and 1:01:49 so on. So, mother, God willing, prayer 1:01:52 especially is indeed the pillar of 1:01:55 religion. The pillar of religion. The 1:01:58 prayer that we perform forbids us from 1:02:00 indecency and evil. Prayer is for Allah 1:02:03 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. There is no 1:02:05 denying that this is a type of 1:02:09 the most important righteous deed. And 1:02:10 Allah knows best. 1:02:11 God knows best. Very well. Thank you, 1:02:14 Ustaz, for the answer, and also to Mrs. 1:02:17 Sri in East Jakarta. 1:02:19 Let's continue with the incoming 1:02:21 questions, Ustaz. We still have time, 1:02:25 perhaps this will be the last question, 1:02:27 it comes from...Abu Muad in Batam. 1:02:32 Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:02:33 and blessings, Ustaz. 1:02:34 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:02:35 mercy and blessings. Regarding the 1:02:37 current events and the calamities that 1:02:40 were long foretold. It seems it's not 1:02:43 just the people who are practicing 1:02:46 polytheism, Ustaz, but even the leaders 1:02:49 of this nation are doing it—for 1:02:51 instance, using rain shamans or relying 1:02:54 on the services of so-called" psychics 1:02:57 "or" wise men. "So, it feels like a 1:03:00 collective accumulation, Ustaz, and 1:03:02 strangely, the scholars in government 1:03:04 remain silent or turn a deaf ear. 1:03:07 Please enlighten us, Ustaz. 1:03:08 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 1:03:09 , the Most Merciful. Our intention in 1:03:11 answering this question from Batam is 1:03:13 not to gossip about the situation. 1:03:16 Yes. 1:03:17 Or to disparage the behavior exhibited 1:03:20 by Allah's servants across various 1:03:23 strata of life. That is not the goal; 1:03:27 my intention in this answer is solely 1:03:29 to provide enlightenment. The 1:03:32 destruction occurring lately, 1:03:35 especially the damage to the natural 1:03:38 world—the world that Allah created 1:03:41 with all its beauty—if we talk about 1:03:45 the world, it contains many things, 1:03:48 right? There are humans, animals, and 1:03:53 trees. There are solid objects, soft 1:03:56 objects, and so on, Anis. Now, we are 1:03:59 speaking about that when we talk about 1:04:02 the world. 1:04:02 Yes. 1:04:03 Especially when the world is afflicted 1:04:05 with a calamity by Allah SWT, as 1:04:06 mentioned earlier, that the world is 1:04:08 set up for such calamities to occur. 1:04:10 Right. 1:04:11 But calamities never befall the world 1:04:14 without human transgression. Humanity. 1:04:17 Therefore, the best approach now is 1:04:19 self-evaluation. Blaming one another in 1:04:22 this condition is not appropriate. 1:04:24 Right. 1:04:25 Blaming each other today is not 1:04:27 appropriate, but advising one another 1:04:29 is the best way. This advice can be 1:04:35 directed to all elements of society, 1:04:38 especially the government. Especially 1:04:42 to the nation's stakeholders. Why? 1:04:47 Because upon their shoulders lies the 1:04:49 responsibility for the lives of the 1:04:50 people. That is how it is. Now, the 1:04:53 existence of a government that is 1:04:56 unjust, unwise, or even among them, 1:04:59 squandering wealth, Anis. Those who 1:05:02 take pride in the sins they commit, in 1:05:05 betrayal, in lies, taking pride in 1:05:07 their behavior involving polytheism and 1:05:09 disbelief. Oh, don't think for a second 1:05:13 , Anis, that whenever there is a 1:05:15 democratic festival... 1:05:18 Don't think that shamans, paranormals, 1:05:21 or" wise men "aren't being paid. 1:05:24 I once calculated it, the amount is in 1:05:27 the trillions, Anis—the money from 1:05:29 Sabang to Merauke, if you add up all 1:05:32 those shamans. 1:05:33 Then accumulated, it is such a massive 1:05:35 amount. 1:05:36 Yes. 1:05:37 Each shaman gets a cut of millions or 1:05:39 billions. It adds up to trillions, all 1:05:43 for what? Just to face a democratic 1:05:46 festival. Imagine if that were utilized 1:05:49 for the welfare of the people. 1:05:50 Yes. 1:05:51 Wow, extraordinary. And those are acts 1:05:54 that carry such immense sins. Even 1:05:57 though they claim to be Muslim. 1:06:01 So, it is true what the Messenger, 1:06:02 peace be upon him, said:" In the end 1:06:04 times, the Muslim community will be 1:06:05 like this: a person is a believer in 1:06:07 the morning, but by evening, they have 1:06:08 pawned their faith. "A believer in the 1:06:10 evening, but by morning, faith is 1:06:12 pawned for worldly affairs. Today, that 1:06:15 problem is happening. Today we witness 1:06:20 how shirk is rampant, how great sins 1:06:23 are being committed, oh brothers in 1:06:26 faith, by whom? By the government 1:06:30 officials. So, what are the 1:06:35 consequences if the government commits 1:06:37 such tyranny in the form of shirk and 1:06:39 disbelief? What are the repercussions? 1:06:42 The repercussions are disasters. Once 1:06:46 again, why? Because upon their 1:06:48 shoulders rests the mandate, right? The 1:06:51 prosperity and security of this world. 1:06:55 If those holding the reins of 1:06:57 leadership are already committing sins 1:06:59 that are strictly forbidden and grave, 1:07:02 do not expect God to remain silent, 1:07:04 right? Do not expect God to be silent. 1:07:07 Now, the government is creating 1:07:09 regulations that burden the people, 1:07:12 right? Will God just stay silent? God 1:07:15 is not silent. Yeah. 1:07:18 Do not expect, do not presume that God 1:07:21 does not see their actions, you know. 1:07:24 God is always watching," Inna rabbaka 1:07:27 labil mirsad. "God is always observing, 1:07:29 you know. Now, this observation will 1:07:33 have two phases. The first phase is 1:07:35 mercy, and the second is punishment. 1:07:39 One is a phase of mercy when, let's say 1:07:42 , humans on this earth perform 1:07:44 righteous deeds, right? 1:07:47 By serving God, avoiding shirk, 1:07:49 cleansing worship from superstitions, 1:07:51 innovation, and polytheism—that is 1:07:54 God's observation, an observation of 1:07:56 mercy. But God's observation will 1:07:59 result in something very, very crucial, 1:08:02 and something we truly do not want. 1:08:06 When all humans, from various elements 1:08:08 and strata, violate God's regulations. 1:08:12 Especially if they fall into the shirk 1:08:13 that is occurring. Oh, God is the 1:08:16 Watcher, the All-Observant. Then this 1:08:19 observation becomes an observation of 1:08:21 punishment. When it comes to punishment 1:08:24 , it is only a matter of time. The 1:08:27 location where the punishment occurs is 1:08:29 by God's will. Now, what we are 1:08:31 experiencing, in Cianjur, it is said 1:08:33 that I also have relatives in Cianjur. 1:08:36 I have many family members in Cianjur. 1:08:38 You know. Just yesterday, my nephew's 1:08:41 house in Cianjur was cracked, right? It 1:08:45 turns out that in Cianjur, back in the 1:08:49 2000s, I participated in a kind of 1:08:52 effort to gather strength to prevent 1:08:56 Christianization from happening there. 1:09:00 Yes, at that time I joined the GARIS 1:09:03 movement, the reformist movement, led 1:09:06 by our friend, Cep Hernawan, we have 1:09:09 been monitoring since the 2000s, for 1:09:12 what? To prevent the spread of 1:09:14 Christianization there. Yet, it turns 1:09:17 out that the Mount Carmel Valley, which 1:09:19 was only 30 hectares back then, they 1:09:22 now control 3,000 hectares. Isn't that 1:09:25 staggering? Looking at these factors, 1:09:28 it is understandable, and Allah is 1:09:30 All-Knowing about which places should 1:09:32 experience disasters first. 1:09:35 Allah is All-Knowing. Why not Jakarta? 1:09:38 Oh, wait a minute. Jakarta does not 1:09:39 mean it is safe. Last night, I heard 1:09:43 information that the threat to Jakarta 1:09:45 is a 6-plus Richter scale earthquake 1:09:47 that will shake the city. Don't be safe 1:09:50 , don't feel safe, you know. And this 1:09:53 is not about trying to scare people; it 1:09:57 is based on existing analysis. And 1:10:01 Jakarta was once leveled to the ground 1:10:03 in a certain year. I'm afraid in that 1:10:06 year, Jakarta was leveled to the ground 1:10:07 . Is it not possible for Jakarta to be 1:10:09 leveled again in the future? It is very 1:10:12 possible. 1:10:12 So, the people of Jakarta should not be 1:10:15 complacent. Be pious to Allah. Avoid 1:10:17 everything that Allah Subhanahu wa 1:10:19 ta'ala hates. Draw closer to Him 1:10:22 through worship. Once again, brothers, 1:10:26 disasters do not happen because Allah 1:10:30 hates His servants. These calamities do 1:10:35 not happen because Allah is unjust to 1:10:37 humans, but because humans themselves 1:10:39 are unjust to Allah. Humans themselves 1:10:42 are the ones who hurt Allah Subhanahu 1:10:44 wa ta'ala. So, what happens in the end? 1:10:47 Yes, we must be ready. Because the 1:10:49 world, as it is said," inna wudi'at 1:10:51 ad-dunya lil-bala. "The world was 1:10:53 placed in this universe for calamities 1:10:56 to occur. And those calamities will not 1:10:59 happen if there are no violations of 1:11:01 the sharia. We witnessed Aceh before. 1:11:06 Then we witnessed Semeru. Now, Semeru 1:11:08 is erupting again. We witnessed what 1:11:12 happened in Padang, flash floods 1:11:14 everywhere, landslides in Garut, and 1:11:17 now it's happening again in Cianjur and 1:11:20 Garut. So, this issue of disaster is 1:11:26 once again related to faith, related to 1:11:30 how we treat Allah's laws. As long as 1:11:35 we, oh brothers of faith, continue to 1:11:38 be proud of our sins. Even if we are 1:11:40 extraordinary perpetrators of evil. Do 1:11:43 not hope that Allah will be kind to us. 1:11:46 But brothers of faith, the days ahead 1:11:48 are days for evaluation. The days ahead 1:11:51 are for us to think together, from the 1:11:54 highest officials to the street 1:11:55 sweepers. We must think together, for 1:11:58 what? To preserve Allah's blessings in 1:12:00 this world so that disaster after 1:12:02 disaster is not sent down by Allah 1:12:04 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. This is what we 1:12:06 hope for. Appeal to the government. 1:12:08 Fear Allah. That's it. Ultimately, 1:12:10 appeal to the country's stakeholders to 1:12:13 return to faith. Return to avoiding the 1:12:15 prohibitions of Allah Subhanahu wa 1:12:17 ta'ala. Do not perpetuate LGBT, that is 1:12:20 very risky. Do not perpetuate liquor, 1:12:23 right? Do not grant permits for 1:12:25 prostitution. That is very dangerous. 1:12:28 This country is prone to the threats of 1:12:29 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala's punishment. 1:12:31 So return to Allah, turn back to Allah, 1:12:34 repent, that will be better and make 1:12:37 this country a land that is good and 1:12:39 forgiven by its Lord. In accordance 1:12:42 with our shared hopes. Wallahu a'lam. 1:12:44 God knows best. Very well, Ustaz. We 1:12:46 say jazakallah khair to Ustaz Umar for 1:12:49 this morning, for providing his advice 1:12:51 and lecture, and for answering 1:12:53 questions from the brothers and sisters 1:12:55 . Hopefully, the questions from the 1:12:59 brothers and sisters have been answered 1:13:02 . Very well, Ustaz. Then there is also one 1:13:59 from, well, this person did not mention 1:14:03 their name. Then there is one from Mrs. 1:14:07 Aisyah in Jatimulya, and also Mr. Yudi 1:14:12 in Bogor. 1:14:14 Subhanallah. 1:14:14 There are those who submitted questions 1:14:16 but we haven't had the chance to 1:14:19 read them. Brothers and sisters. 1:14:20 My regards to everyone, Ustaz. May they 1:14:22 all be in good health and able to carry 1:14:24 out their activities well and perform 1:14:25 righteous deeds. 1:14:26 Amin. Amin ya rabbal alamin. Alright, 1:14:28 once again, Ustaz, we thank you for the 1:14:31 lecture this morning. May we always be granted 1:14:50 health by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:14:52 We conclude the morning lecture program 1:14:54 by reciting the Kafaratul Majelis 1:14:56 prayer. We 1:15:02 apologize for any shortcomings. 1:15:03 Wasalamualaikum warahmatullahi 1:15:04 wabarakatuh. 1:15:05 Waalaikumsalam.
