- and those who follow and support him. I
- bear witness that there is no god but
- Allah, He is one and has no partner,
- and I bear witness that Muhammad is His
- servant and messenger, and there is no
- prophet after him. Servants of Allah,
- brothers and sisters, whom I respect.
- Praise be to Allah, at this moment we
- can all gather together through the
- airwaves. Meaning meeting, yes, meeting
- through our voices in the air. In the
- context of me fulfilling the mandate to
- broadcast using the Sundanese language.
- Hopefully, what I am about to convey
- later. Truly becomes a reminder for
- those who have not yet awakened and an
- addition for those who are already
- awake. God willing, yes. Because
- everyone, what is called a human being,
- even if they are a person of faith, is
- never free from mistakes and errors. It
- just happens, that is the nature of
- humans, *kulu bani adam khattaun*, all
- children of Adam surely have faults. *
- Wakhairul khatta'in at-tawwabun*, the
- best of those who err are those who
- quickly return in repentance to Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So now, for human
- beings, certainly, wherever they are,
- in whatever situation, they will surely
- be prone to mistakes and errors.
- Because of that, Allah explains in the
- Quran: "And remind, for indeed, the
- reminder benefits the believers."
- Remind, for indeed, a reminder, a
- warning, is highly beneficial for those
- who have faith. H.
- A person of faith, if they slip in
- their actions. Or if they slip with
- their tongue, like that. There is
- someone to warn, someone to remind them
- , who is it? Among other people, "And
- remind, for indeed, the reminder
- benefits the believers." All of you, we
- are currently still in the month of
- Rabi 'al-Awwal. If I am not mistaken,
- it is the 17th, perhaps.
- The 17th of Rabi' al-Awwal, where
- customarily in Indonesia, and perhaps
- in other countries as well, we hold a
- commemoration or a celebration of the
- Prophet's birthday. What is the reason?
- So, don't forget when working; don't
- just have reminders, but we only have
- reminders every year, yet we keep on
- forgetting.
- There's no improvement, no change; that
- kind of thing is not good. So. Like a
- person. If at night one forgets to bolt
- the door and lock the window. Well, if
- at that time they get robbed.
- Don't blame others.
- Blame yourself. Negligent.
- Careless, not serious. So it's reminded
- , "Hey everyone. If it's deep into the
- night and no one else is up before
- sleeping, turn off the stove first."
- That's what the Prophet said. Now, turn
- off the stove, bolt the doors, lock the
- windows, and everything else; be
- careful and take precautions. If we
- have been careful and it still happens,
- then we leave it to Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala. Because if we are negligent,
- there is a warning from the Prophet, if
- a person. who sleeps on a roof without
- a railing and falls, Allah is free from
- that person's fate, so the Prophet said
- to tie up your camel first, then put
- your trust in Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala
- . So, tawakal (trust) requires effort.
- After the effort, then comes tawakal.
- What must tawakal be? Surrendering
- yourself to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
- Admitting that I have no power or
- strength except for Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala who provides protection. So,
- follow the sharia first, everyone.
- Therefore, if someone forgets to bolt
- the door, forgets to lock the window,
- or forgets to lock the motorcycle. Well
- , that's why I'm reminding you.
- Alhamdulillah, so we can be cautious.
- Like that. A person who forgets to take
- soap when they are about to bathe.
- That is the result. The bath won't be
- perfect, because a perfect bath uses
- soap, uses a toothbrush, right?
- Cleaning everything thoroughly. So,
- that's a warning, everyone; a warning
- as a reminder for those who celebrate
- the Prophet's birthday. Remember that
- Prophet Muhammad was sent by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala to this earth as an
- example for all of us, humans in
- general, and especially for those who
- believe. Follow the Prophet if you want
- to be good and have noble character. If
- you want to be safe physically and
- spiritually. Follow the Prophet. If you
- want to have a household that is
- sakinah, mawadah, and warohmah, follow
- the Prophet. So the Prophet is the
- example for all kinds of goodness. In
- the Al-Qur'an it is explained, "Laqad
- kana lakum fi rasulillahi uswatun
- hasanah." So, indeed, the Messenger of
- Allah is a good role model for those
- who believe. So, do not look for
- examples in the West or the East, but
- to the Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger
- of Allah. Even though lately, there are
- people claiming to be kiai. Memorizing
- the Quran but then getting confused.
- What happened in the end? In the end,
- they believe that Jesus is the savior.
- Naudubillah minzalik. It went viral on
- social media.
- Huh.
- They said Prophet Muhammad had 23 wives
- .
- He only had 11 rooms for his wives; the
- 12th one didn't have a room, they took
- turns. God forbid, such an incredible
- insult to the Prophet, the noblest of
- humans, the most noble, the one who is
- Allah's example of perfect character.
- The character of the Prophet is the
- Quran, the Holy Quran. One time, Aisha
- was asked by one of her companions, "O
- Mother of the Believers, what was the
- Prophet's character like?" The Mother
- of the Believers, Aisha, answered, "The
- Prophet's character is the Quran." The
- living Quran, So, they live by the Book
- of Allah, moving with the Quran
- wherever they are. That's how it is in
- Indonesia, to all of you, pardon me.
- One time, this was told by the
- companions, uh, the companion Hassan
- al-Basri radhiallahu anhu, he mentioned
- that one time there was a group of
- people who said to Prophet Muhammad,
- the Messenger of Allah, "O Muhammad, by
- Allah, we really love our Lord so
- deeply." A group of people, I don't
- know how many exactly, it wasn't
- specified in the records, claimed
- before the Prophet that they loved
- Allah the Almighty very much. Now, this
- is from Ibn Kathir and recorded in the
- Tafsir of Ibn Kathir, volume 1, page
- 478. So, after that, Allah revealed
- verses of the Holy Quran, which are in
- Surah Ali Imran, verse 31. For what? To
- answer and guide those who truly love
- Allah the Almighty. Verses 31 and 32 of
- Surah Ali Imran were revealed. A'udhu
- billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim. Say, "
- If you should love Allah, then follow
- me, [so] Allah will love you and
- forgive your sins." Say, "Obey Allah
- and the Messenger." But if they turn
- away, then indeed, Allah does not like
- the disbelievers. This is the occasion
- of revelation (asbab al-nuzul). The two
- verses of Surah Ali Imran, 31 and 32,
- were about a group of youths who
- claimed that they deeply loved Allah.
- So, tell them, Muhammad. In Sundanese,
- "If you really love Allah, then follow
- me." Follow my way of life, said the
- Prophet. So, following the Prophet is
- proof that a person loves Allah the
- Almighty. If there is someone who loves
- Allah, but in performing worship, they
- do whatever they want, that doesn't
- work.
- If that were the case, what is the
- point of the Prophet being sent by
- Allah to this earth? He is nothing but
- an example for those who believe. Now,
- to everyone I respect. Allah said to
- the Prophet, "Go ahead and tell them,
- Muhammad, if you love Allah, then
- follow me." Surely, now, there's the
- word "tanwande", right? "Tanwande" is
- an old, traditional language term.
- Young people today might not understand
- it, what does "tanwande" mean?
- Certainly.
- Certainly.
- Undoubtedly, inevitably.
- Inevitably.
- Perhaps a synonym for this, Allah will
- surely love you in return.
- If a person truly lives their life with
- a love for Allah that is limitless and
- extraordinary. As a logical consequence
- , we try, let's say, Allah will surely
- love us back. Now, where is the proof?
- The proof or example that you love
- Allah is to follow the Prophet, as he
- said, "Follow me." So, whatever is
- exemplified, do it—what the Prophet
- commands, take it, and whatever he
- forbids, leave it—that is what the
- Prophet said, so we don't have to be
- confused in living our Islamic life;
- how to practice Islam, look at the
- Prophet's example. The Prophet's
- example covers all aspects of life,
- personal matters, yes, even cutting
- nails is regulated.
- Cutting nails starting with the index
- finger, right?
- The right hand, then after the index
- finger, what is it? The middle finger,
- then the ring finger, then the little
- finger, then the thumb, and for cutting
- nails on the left, start with the
- little finger, then the ring, middle,
- index, and thumb; cutting nails is
- regulated. Entering and leaving the
- restroom is regulated; we cannot just
- do as we please.
- Ah, some say, "I want to enter the
- restroom with my right foot first." You
- cannot, the Prophet said, "If you want
- to love Allah, follow me." The Prophet
- said, "When entering the restroom, left
- foot first, accompanied by the prayer:
- 'Auzubillahi minal khubuthi wal
- khaba'is.'" That is the example. See,
- the prayer cannot be changed; it must
- be in the language we understand, not
- just arbitrarily. When leaving the
- restroom, what then? Right foot first.
- That is how it is, right? Right foot
- first. Now, for wearing clothes,
- wearing pants, wearing shirts. The
- Prophet gave an example: start with the
- right side first. That is it,
- accompanied by a prayer, especially
- with new clothes. New clothes. Now, if
- you are taking off your clothes, left
- side first. So those personal matters
- and household matters are regulated by
- the Prophet. Masha'Allah, extraordinary
- . How about being a husband in guiding
- and protecting his wife and children?
- But the examples are extraordinary.
- Right. How was the Prophet in daily
- life? Interacting and socializing with
- society as a merchant, as a trader. The
- Prophet never committed betrayal. We
- often see it as an opportunity when
- someone asks, right? Wow, this is a
- coincidence, like a spider that has its
- web so well-crafted to attract a
- dragonfly. The dragonfly gets trapped.
- "Ah, this opportunity, I'll snatch it
- up," that is not how it works. So, if
- the Prophet at one time was selling,
- the Prophet was honest. The Prophet
- said, "I bought this for such and such.
- " It is nice to be honest, right? How
- much do you want to mark it up? "Ah,
- for me, if it was a million, give me
- about 50,000, how about that?""Oh,
- that's too little, how about 100,000?""
- Okay, 100,000 is fine." So both sides
- are pleased; both parties are content,
- unlike us. I often mention, if a
- merchant of goods or clothes shops at
- Tanah Abang,
- a piece of shirt, a short shirt, how
- much is the wholesale price? A kodi (20
- pieces) is 600,000.
- That means one piece is 30,000, right?
- Something priced at 30,000 in the
- market is offered as a cheap sale, very
- cheap, really cheap, and then someone
- bids, "How much, Miss?" From 30,000,
- they bid 8,000. Well, generally, people
- bid half the price; it's already
- embarrassing to bid that low, what if
- it’s 5,000? Oh, I’m sorry, that
- doesn't even cover the capital.
- They have no shame, lying and lying.
- For profit.
- Even though there was already a profit
- of 15,000. It doesn't have to be like
- the Prophet, but if you lie to get a
- 5,000 profit, especially while swearing
- , "By Allah, it doesn't even cover my
- capital," that is haram by law.
- The money isn't haram by type, but the
- act is haram, the haram action.
- False swearing, naudzubillah minzalik,
- be careful, being a prophet is an
- example of what is good. If one carries
- out everything exemplified by the
- Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
- him peace. Prophet Muhammad, the
- Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him,
- that means that person truly loves
- Allah. Loves Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
- Ah, So, if someone truly loves Allah,
- manifested in their behavior by
- following what was exemplified by the
- Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of
- Allah, peace be upon him, then
- undoubtedly, Allah will surely love you
- . If you are loved by Allah, cherished
- by Allah, cared for, favored, and
- blessed, oh, it is truly extraordinary
- for everyone. We are just honored by a
- regent, and the regent kisses our hand,
- oh, kissing our hand, oh masyaAllah, so
- proud because the regent is still young
- , and we are already old. Kissing the
- hand of a teacher or a cleric is
- necessary and indeed a sunnah; we must
- respect clerics and elders, but to be
- so proud and happy to spread it
- everywhere, taking pictures together
- and spreading it, oh my God. What if
- you are favored by Allah, loved, cared
- for, cherished, and blessed by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala? MasyaAllah, it is
- truly extraordinary for all of you. So,
- yuhbibkumullah, surely as a reward from
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, Allah will
- love you, yaghfir lakum dzunubakum, not
- just being loved by Allah, but your
- sins will be wiped out by Allah, will
- be forgiven. So, your sins will be
- forgiven by Allah. And meanwhile, Allah
- is, "wa yaghfir lakum dzunubakum," and
- Allah is someone who is, eh, what? The
- Most Forgiving and the Most Merciful.
- There is no human mercy that is not
- limited. There are boundaries, but
- Allah has no limits, right? Humans have
- limits, as long as a child is devoted
- to their parents, the parents love,
- cherish, and care for them; but one day
- if the child rebels against Allah,
- opposes the parents, the parents
- sometimes hesitate. Except for people
- who have true faith. So, Furthermore,
- in verse 32, say, "Muhammad, Atiullaha
- wa rasula," Follow and obey Allah and
- His Messenger, yes. "Fain tawalau," now
- if you turn away, "fain tawalau
- fainallaha," then know for sure, Allah
- "la yuhibbul kafirin," does not love,
- does not care for, and does not cherish
- those who disbelieve. "Nauzubillah
- minzalik (We seek refuge in Allah from
- that), to be a disbeliever. Let alone
- being grateful for the blessings of
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Let alone
- performing whatever has been commanded
- by Allah. Let alone leaving behind the
- various things forbidden by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. MashaAllah.
- Reflecting upon one's own self, a
- disbeliever simply cannot do it, just
- think about it. If we reflect," Oh
- Allah, I did not just suddenly appear
- like this; I went through a process of
- being conceived in my mother's womb,
- isn't that so? "When my mother was
- still a maiden and my father was still
- a bachelor, where was I? We don't
- understand, but Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala is All-Knowing. Once again, if
- we love Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, then
- it is proof that loving Allah means
- following all the behaviors of Prophet
- Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam. Personal matters, household
- matters, and social matters are also
- not excluded. Now, as explained earlier
- , let's pray in congregation. Now,
- let's pray in congregation; prayer,
- prayer in congregation is already good.
- You get a reward 27 times greater than
- praying alone. Especially if eventually
- it is stated that we as people who have
- faith. The Prophet was generous and
- giving, while we are still stingy, for
- example. MashaAllah. The Prophet
- performed Duha prayer, while we are
- busy working. The Prophet performed
- Tahajud night prayer, while we are
- sound asleep snoring. Where is it? How
- can it be called love? If it's like
- that, let us contemplate our own
- behavior and peek into the secrets of
- our life's actions. To what extent do
- we love the Prophet? How far does our
- love for the Prophet go? Is it just
- mere words or just ceremonial annually,
- or reciting sholawat to the Prophet
- thousands of times? That is not enough,
- everyone. Therefore, let us come
- together. The Messenger was a generous
- person, yes, the Messenger was a person
- who was explained in the hadith, a
- summary of it all. If I were to list
- them one by one, the time would not be
- enough; they are summarized from
- Sayidina Aisha, Anas bin Malik, and
- Sayidina Ali bin Abi Thalib. Rasulullah
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam, everyone,
- whenever he had guests come to his
- house.
- The Messenger would never let a guest
- out until the guest asked for
- permission from Prophet Muhammad
- Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- first. Besides the fact that the
- Messenger was a good example, his
- guests, the companions, also knew their
- place. While we are not even his guests
- .
