It is a pleasure, 2:51 brothers and sisters, for Muhammad Anis 2:53 Mualim and the crew on duty this 2:55 morning, including Atep Setiabudi as 2:57 the Rasil TV cameraman and Fakri Ahmad 3:00 as the radio operator, to meet again in 3:05 our morning lecture program for today, 3:09 Thursday. We have entered the 24th of 3:14 Rabiul Awal 1446 Hijriah. It is the 3:19 20th of October, or the 20th day of the 3:22 month of October. Brothers and sisters, 3:27 every Thursday morning we present our 3:30 speaker who, as usual, discusses the 3:33 Tafsir Ibn Kathir study, namely Ustaz 3:36 Umar Rasyid Hasan. Alhamdulillah, he 3:41 has come all the way from Kelapa 3:44 Nunggal to Radio Silaturahim in the 3:47 Cibubur, Bekasi area to provide advice 3:50 and his study or lecture to all of us. 3:54 Let us greet him first. Peace be upon 3:56 you, and Allah's mercy and blessings, 3:57 Ustaz. 3:58 And upon you be peace, and Allah's 3:59 mercy and blessings. 4:00 You are in good health, Ustaz, right? 4:03 Alhamdulillah. 4:04 Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. May Allah 4:06 the Almighty guard your health, Ustaz, 4:10 because many listeners of Radio 4:12 Silaturahim certainly need the advice 4:17 from you, Ustaz, and also your prayers, 4:19 right? MasyaAllah, and also 4:21 the brothers and sisters are also 4:23 praying for you, Ustaz, may you always 4:24 be granted good health. MasyaAllah. 4:26 It is reciprocal, isn't it, Ustaz? So, 4:28 Alhamdulillah, Ustaz could come from 4:30 Kelapa Nunggal, Ustaz. Yes, 4:32 Alhamdulillah. 4:33 Was there traffic, Ustaz, today? Ustaz, 4:34 today, Alhamdulillah, it was smooth. 4:35 Smooth, Ustaz, then? In the Cibubur 4:37 area, it was smooth, right? 4:38 Smooth. 4:39 Usually, those are the traffic hotspots 4:40 , right, Ustaz? 4:40 Allah. Usually, a few spots take 5 or 4:43 10 minutes, time is just wasted. 4:46 Yeah. Especially if we come from the 4:48 Kelapa Penunggal area, which is already 4:50 a traffic jam area, Ustaz. Yeah, 4:52 a traffic area because of the factories 4:53 , right? 4:54 Yeah. 4:54 The JS factory, right? 4:57 JS, that's Jakarta Sul, a Korean 4:58 company. 4:59 Yes, that’s absolutely right, Ustaz. 5:01 And for you, Ustaz, entering that area 5:03 means passing the Cilengsi market too, 5:05 right, Ustaz? 5:06 Definitely, I have to pass through it. 5:07 You definitely have to, Ustaz. There 5:09 are traffic bottlenecks there too, 5:10 right, Ustaz? 5:10 Especially now that we've entered the 5:13 rainy season, right, Ustaz? Allah ya 5:15 karim. 5:15 The roads get ruined and muddy, right, 5:18 Ustaz? 5:18 Yes. 5:19 Be careful while driving, Ustaz. 5:22 Especially those riding motorcycles. 5:25 True. 5:25 Those potholes are covered by puddles. 5:27 True. So when they pass through, they 5:31 assume 5:33 the road is flat, but it's actually 5:35 deep, so many fall; be very careful 5:37 this rainy season, riders. True. True. 5:40 So for our brothers and sisters, please 5:43 be careful and prepare your vehicle 5:46 gear, Ustaz. Especially raincoats, 5:48 since we have already entered the rainy 5:51 season. 5:52 Right, Ustaz. In this morning's 5:54 discussion, we are still on the Tafsir 5:56 Ibnu Katsir study, Ustaz. Yes. God 5:59 willing, Ustaz will discuss Quran Surah 6:01 Adh-Dhariyat, chapter 51. In the 6:05 discussion of verses 15 to 19, God 6:08 willing, Ustaz. Yes, our discussion 6:10 this morning. We invite our brothers 6:13 and sisters to the second segment. For 6:15 those who wish to ask questions, you 6:17 can call our phone line at 0218451512. 6:23 For WhatsApp service, brothers and 6:24 sisters can send messages to 0811999720 6:26 . Alright, let's open the morning 6:31 lecture by reciting the prayer for 6:33 seeking knowledge. 6:34 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Rabbi zidni 6:37 ilman allahummanfni bima alamtani 6:40 waimni mafauni warzuqni ilman yangfa 6:43 warzuqni. Amin rabbal alamin. Please go 6:46 ahead. 6:47 Jazakallah khair. 6:49 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ikhwati wa 6:52 akhawati muslimin wal muslimat fi ayi 6:58 makanin kan. Assalamu'alaikum 7:01 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 7:03 Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin. 7:05 Washallallahu ala nabiyina Muhammadin 7:08 wa ala alihi wasohabati ajmain. Amma 7:10 ba'd. Subhanaka la ilma lana illa ma 7:14 alamtana innaka antal alimul hakim. Al 7:19 inaka antwaburahim. Allahum in nasaluka 7:24 ilman nafiq wasalan mutaqbala. Allahum 7:29 inna naud naubika min ilmin lafa wamin 7:32 nafsin la tusba wamin duain la 7:34 yustajabulah. Brothers in faith whom 7:40 Allah loves and honors, as in past 7:44 weeks, Ustaz will present Tafsir Ibnu 7:48 Katsir. Today, God willing, Surah 7:51 Adh-Dhariyat, verses 15 through 19. It 7:56 seems related to last week, Anis. If I 8:00 recall correctly, last week we talked 8:03 about worries, right? 8:07 One moment about what the Prophet 8:13 conveyed to us regarding the end times, 8:15 many unexpected things appear, right? 8:20 Like the worsening economy and the 8:24 deteriorating social world. perhaps 8:30 politics, culture, and so on, which 8:32 also impact the world of education 8:36 right, we could say it's about religion 8:39 and morality, like that. So, last week, 8:45 the Ustazah mentioned returning to how 8:49 we manage our families with the 8:52 existing economy to overcome issues 8:56 that might be a specific difficulty for 8:59 us. When we talk about difficulties, it 9:04 is not appropriate to take the 9:07 difficulties we experience and throw 9:09 them onto others. 9:11 Instead, we must face them ourselves. 9:14 If we truly are unable, only then do we 9:17 involve others to overcome that 9:19 difficulty. Now, last week the Ustaz 9:24 also spoke about how a Muslim must 9:27 control his family through the economy 9:31 by purchasing land, right Anis? 9:34 Yes, that's right. Regarding the land, 9:37 the Ustaz calculated yesterday that it 9:39 turns out to be 7 hectares, eh, 7 9:41 million hectares...Indonesia's 9:45 agricultural land, inside of which he 9:48 calculated approximately 70 million, 9:50 but it turns out the reality is only 9:52 around 40 million. 9:56 40 million farmers, right, but 9:59 yesterday there was a large surplus. 10:05 But when the Ustaz calculated 40 10:06 million farmers, there was still a 10:08 surplus. The surplus reaches, if 10:13 harvested twice a year, it reaches 360- 10:17 something million, kilo, eh, liters or 10:20 kilograms, which means the children of 10:26 this nation will not possibly starve if 10:30 the utilization of these agricultural 10:34 lands is truly maximized and no longer 10:38 given to developers who do not build or 10:42 open new land, but instead utilize 10:45 productive land from our agricultural 10:49 soil. Now, that's it. And this is 10:56 information that is indeed...Sometimes, 11:04 in religious matters, we cannot be 11:06 separated from worldly affairs, right, 11:08 Anis? Yes. 11:10 Whatever form worldly activities take, 11:12 they must be controlled by religion. 11:16 Now, therefore, when we are already 11:19 able, ikhwatal iman, to control and 11:21 manage our families using the methods 11:24 the Ustaz conveyed last week, if anyone 11:27 still remembers. Then today, we make 11:33 all the personnel, yes, all our family 11:38 personnel, must also be able to be 11:43 educated. With the best possible 11:48 education that leads to piety. That is 11:52 it. So if we talk about piety, it is 11:56 very comprehensive, right, Anis, it is 11:58 very broad and covers various aspects. 12:03 Why must we educate our children toward 12:06 piety? The definite answer is that 12:11 through that piety, we as parents will 12:14 be happy and the children will be saved 12:17 . That is because piety is a depiction 12:23 of life or the behavior...of Allah's 12:30 servants that leads to complete 12:33 goodness; that is piety. Who doesn't 12:37 want to have good descendants, right, 12:40 Anis? Certainly, no matter how bad we 12:43 are, if asked, "Do you want your child 12:46 to be bad like you?" that person would 12:49 get angry. "Are you praying for my 12:51 child to be like me?" Oh, that is 12:54 impossible, surely. So, even if the 12:57 parents are bad, if we touch their 12:59 hearts regarding family, especially 13:02 their generation, surely a person does 13:04 not want their descendants to be like 13:06 them. So, this guidance is the guidance 13:11 of religion, and religion is advice, 13:13 right? This is religious guidance, 13:17 where religion's position is that of 13:19 advice. Now, advice for whom? Yes. Yes. 13:25 For us, the entire Ummah of Muhammad, 13:27 peace be upon him. Ad-dinu nasihat. 13:32 Religion is advice—to whom, O 13:33 Messenger of Allah? For whom is that 13:35 advice? "Lillahi wa li-rasulihi," right 13:39 ? That advice is for Allah and His 13:41 Messenger. Does Allah need advice? No. 13:43 Does the Messenger need advice? No. 13:46 What is meant by advice for Allah is 13:49 that while living this life, we 13:51 practice what Allah has commanded. 13:55 Right? Exalting what has become the law 13:59 of Allah. That is the intended advice. 14:02 Likewise, when we provide advice to the 14:05 Messenger, it does not mean the 14:07 Messenger needs our advice. No. We 14:10 bring to life the Sunnah of the 14:12 Messenger, peace be upon him, in our 14:14 lives and in our daily routines. This 14:16 is what is meant by "ad-dinu nasihat, 14:20 lillahi wa li-rasulihi." Next, the 14:25 advice is for the Ummah, right? And for 14:32 the leaders of the Muslims and their 14:35 masses; this advice is for the entire 14:37 Ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him, 14:40 including the learned ones. Let's say 14:45 the scholars, and even the common 14:48 people among us. This means we must not 14:53 let go, brothers in faith, of the 14:55 various aspects of life; we must direct 14:57 them toward piety to Allah Subhanahu wa 14:59 ta'ala. So, the verse we will study 15:05 provides information about how Allah 15:08 will treat the pious in the afterlife, 15:10 the hereafter. Now, let us open the 15:14 Anis Tafsir, God willing. Audzubillahi 15:17 minash-shaytanir-rajim. Innal-muttaqina 15:22 fi jannatin wa 'uyun. Indeed, the pious 15:28 , in the hereafter, will be placed by 15:31 Allah in Paradise, where there are many 15:35 springs of water. Some parts of 15:40 Paradise are described by the pleasure 15:42 of their rivers, right? "Akhidzina ma 15:49 atahum rabbuhum, innahum kanu qabla 15:51 dhalika muhsinin." They will experience 15:58 the rewards for the good they did in 16:00 the world; Allah will grant them their 16:02 reward. "Akhidzina" means they receive 16:06 the rewards of the hereafter, or 16:08 Paradise, from their Lord. Why? Because 16:14 when they lived in the world, they 16:15 practiced piety. So, it is impossible 16:19 for Allah to suddenly give Paradise in 16:21 the afterlife if they did nothing in 16:23 the world, right? Especially if they 16:26 only committed violations while in the 16:28 world, right? Yes. How could that be, 16:30 right? 16:31 Now. Yes. Al-jaza' min jinsil- 'amal. 16:37 So, the reward is in accordance with 16:39 one's deeds. Yeah. If one's deeds are 16:42 bad, it is impossible for Allah to give 16:44 goodness in the hereafter. Now, " 16:47 Akhidzina ma atahum rabbuhum." Brothers 16:51 in faith, the people of Paradise will 16:54 enjoy everything Allah has given them, 16:57 savoring the gifts of Allah Subhanahu 17:00 wa ta'ala. Innahum kanu qabla dhalika 17:04 muhsinin. Because when they lived in 17:06 the world, they were always righteous 17:08 and pious. Yes, perhaps piety in those 17:12 24 hours is felt in the five daily 17:15 prayers, I feel that piety when we wake 17:19 up at night, right. That piety is felt 17:24 when we share alms, right, or also 17:28 share with others. Life feels pious 17:33 when we always speak noble words, 17:38 saying beautiful and kind things. 17:42 Perhaps piety is all around us when we 17:44 forgive the mistakes of others. Right? 17:48 Especially towards our children and 17:50 descendants. So, those promised 17:55 paradise by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, 17:57 within it are various delights,' uyun. 18:01 'Uyun are springs of water, you know. 18:05 Their nature in the world is entirely 18:07 one of piety. So they are entitled to 18:11 take "akhidina maahum rabbuhum." To 18:14 take everything given by Allah 18:16 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Because with that 18:20 piety, it acts as what? It acts as the 18:24 price. And regarding price, surely a 18:26 high price cannot be paid cheaply, 18:29 right. Is paradise cheap? Paradise 18:32 comes at a high price. The Prophet 18:34 Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Ala 18:36 inna silatallahi ghaliyah.""Ala inna 18:38 silatallahil jannah." Indeed, the trade 18:42 with Him must be done with what? An 18:45 expensive price. Why is that? Because 18:49 paradise is very expensive. It needs 18:52 sacrifice, it needs struggle, it needs 18:56 patience, and all of that must be 18:59 combined for piety, for that goodness. 19:08 Waqad rawahu Utsman bin Abi Syaibah an 19:11 Muawiyata bin Hisyam an Sufyan. Where 19:16 does this hadith end for whom? Fi ulihi 19:26 . Fi jannatin wa' uyun. Fal muttaquun. 19:33 As for those who are pious, fi hali 19:35 kaunihim fil jannati wal 'uyun. The 19:41 pious servants of Allah, they are in 19:43 paradise which is extraordinary, with 19:46 springs gushing from all corners of 19:48 paradise. Akhidina maahum rabbuhum. 19:57 They enjoy the gifts of Allah Subhanahu 19:59 wa ta'ala. Aminan na'im wasururin walha 20:03 . MasyaAllah. They enjoy, subhanallahil 20:09 ' azim, the gifts of Allah, the 20:11 blessings of Allah in the form of 20:13 various types of delights, na'im. So 20:16 paradise, there is Jannatun Na'im. 20:18 Na'im. 20:21 That is, and surur, the happiness, in 20:24 other verses part of that happiness is 20:27 when the reunion occurs. 20:31 A reunion. 20:32 Reunion in paradise is a meeting. Whose 20:35 meeting? The meeting between us, the 20:37 parents, and our children. 20:39 Oh, in paradise. 20:40 Oh, in paradise, that is one type of 20:43 surur, of happiness. So when the people 20:47 of paradise enter it, who do they ask 20:49 for first? Their parents, you see. Yes. 20:54 Yes. Rabbi aina abi wa ummi. 20:56 Right? Because they realize they 21:00 wouldn't exist if not for their parents 21:02 . 21:04 So the first ones we ask for are our 21:06 mothers and fathers. Only then our 21:10 spouses and our children. Now, this is 21:14 one form of delight, the surur or 21:17 happiness, when Allah permits us to 21:20 meet our family members. How wonderful, 21:23 it brings tears to the eyes. Believers 21:26 will always be reunited in this world 21:29 and the hereafter. Do not worry. There 21:33 is just a caveat, we must educate our 21:36 children if we hope to meet through 21:39 piety. Maintaining faith, upholding 21:43 creed, and doing righteous deeds. Do 21:45 not get tired, do not stop. There is a 21:49 saying that scholars often use: never 21:51 grow tired of being a good person. 21:53 Yes, that's right. Because if you grow 21:55 tired of being good, what is the 21:57 opposite? 21:58 Bad. 21:58 Bad means doing 22:00 wickedness. Yes, don't do that. Do not 22:03 grow tired of being a good person 22:06 wherever we live, whenever we are alive 22:09 , don't ever get tired of being good. 22:12 Because goodness becomes a light. 22:16 The goodness we do will become a 22:17 guiding light for us in the hereafter's 22:19 darkness. Subhanallahiladzim. Oh Allah, 22:24 if we have no righteous deeds, we will 22:26 have no light. So brothers, as 22:29 mentioned before, "fal muttaquuna fi 22:32 hali kaunihim fil jannat wal uyun." Yes 22:36 , the state of the pious is always 22:38 honored by Allah in this world and the 22:41 hereafter, especially in heaven, full 22:44 of delight. "Wasur walabth." And " 22:50 ghibth" is the same as, uh, what? 22:52 Happiness, cheerfulness. Wow, 22:55 masyaallah. It is, uh, warmth. If we 23:03 meet our family who have been far away, 23:05 and haven't seen them for a long time. 23:07 Suddenly gathering in a place that we 23:10 designated. Gathering together. How 23:12 does it feel? 23:13 Oh Allah, it is so warm. 23:15 Happy. 23:16 Happy and excited to meet our siblings. 23:19 Sharing stories, sharing things, right? 23:21 Masyaallah, that is ghibth. "Waquluhu 23:27 azza waalla""innahum kanu qobla dzalika 23:33 muhsinin." And the word of Allah, which 23:40 says "innahum," that "hum" refers to 23:43 them, the pious. Indeed, they were 23:48 previously. Why does Allah grant that 23:51 delight? Previously, in the life of 23:55 this world, they were "muhsinin." What 24:00 are "muhsinin"? Muhsinin are those who, 24:04 uh, keep doing good. As Allah states in 24:07 another verse, "Eat and drink in 24:09 satisfaction for what you put forth in 24:11 the days past." So, eat and drink 24:16 happily. Right? Because of what? 24:19 Because you did good deeds while you 24:21 were living in the world. That is it. " 24:27 Tumma innahu taala bayyana ihsanahum 24:31 fil amal faqala jalla waala kanu 24:34 qalilam minalili maa yahjaun.""Kanu 24:41 qolilam minallili ma yahjaun." The form 24:47 of their "ihsan," their goodness, their 24:49 being "muhsinin" was while they lived 24:51 in the world. Oh Allah, they slept so 24:56 little. Enlivening the night, like the 25:02 verse we once discussed in Surah 25:04 Al-Furqan, building clusters with what? 25:09 With Tahajjud, with noble character, 25:13 right? 25:14 Goodness. 25:15 Yes. "Nah, ikhtalafal mufassirun 25:18 fidalika alain." There is an 25:21 interpretation regarding this sentence. 25:24 There are two views among the exegetes 25:27 regarding this sentence. Where is it? 25:37 One of them is negating the scarcity, " 25:39 kanu qolilam minallili ma yahjaun." The 25:43 "ma" here is actually related to, uh, 25:47 what do you call it? Arabic language 25:49 ethics, right? Because in Arabic, you 25:52 must understand pronouns, subjects, 25:54 active participles, passive agents, and 25:57 so on. Actually, there is no need to 26:00 explain the interpretation of this "ma" 26:02 at length. Yes. It is a negative 26:05 particle. Yes. It means "they were only 26:09 a few." This "ma" refers to the word "a 26:11 few" in the phrase "a few of the night 26:14 they would sleep." That is the pronoun 26:16 reference for the sentence. Meaning, a 26:18 group of people who, uh, sleep very 26:21 little at night. That. Therefore, Ibn 26:25 Abbas said, "Qala Ibn Abbas radhiallahu 26:28 anhu." Uh, since it is Ibn Abbas, it 26:31 means there are two: the son and the 26:32 father. So, if we pray for them, we 26:37 must address both the father and the 26:40 son, "anhuma." May Allah's pleasure be 26:45 upon them both, "lam takun tamdi 26:48 alaihim lailatan illa yauduna minha 26:51 walau saian." The righteous people, 26:58 they never let their nights pass by. No 27:03 matter if, for instance, they returned 27:04 home at 11:00 or 12:00 last night 27:08 because of studying or attending a 27:09 lecture, you see. Or because of other 27:12 da'wah activities. Some return at 1:00, 27:15 some return at another time. No matter 27:18 the condition. Especially since these 27:22 righteous people, their work, let's say 27:25 , from their da'wah, there is a break 27:28 from da'wah. Some sleep at 8:00 or 9:00 27:31 . Even when it gets close to the time, 27:36 say the time of Sahar, what do the 27:39 scholars say about the time of Suhoor? 27:43 Ibn Abbas radhiallahu anhuma said, "Lam 27:47 takun tamdi alaihim lailatan." They 27:53 never let those nights pass by. "Illa 27:57 yauduna minha walau," they never let 28:00 the nights pass without some good deeds 28:04 like Tahajjud or Witr, even if it is 28:07 little. What does "little" mean here? 28:10 Maybe one rak'ah. One rak'ah for what? 28:14 For, uh, Witr. Because Witr is at least 28:18 one rak'ah. It can be 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 28:21 or 13. Those are odd numbers. So, 28:25 righteous people never let their nights 28:28 go to waste. "Oh, there's only 5 28:31 minutes left until the adhan." 28:34 If you can still do one rak'ah, if you 28:36 haven't prayed Witr yet, do it. That is 28:38 the meaning. 28:40 That. "Oh, there's only 5 minutes left. 28:42 " Uh, it's almost time for the adhan at 28:45 Suhoor. That is the time for prayer. 28:48 Yes. Because the time of Sahar has 28:50 incredible beauty. Every act of worship 28:53 , whatever form it takes, whether a lot 28:55 or a little, is witnessed by the angels 28:57 of the night. How beautiful the people 29:00 of Islam are. Their worship is 29:02 witnessed by the community of the sky 29:05 the heavens, you see. Don't think that 29:09 even though our children are asleep 29:11 snoring and don't see us praying, our 29:12 prayers are seen by the angels. The 29:15 witness is the angels. So don't 29:18 underestimate that short time at night, 29:21 okay? Don't let it pass without any 29:24 good deeds. "Walau saian," even if it 29:27 is just a little. H. Waqala Qatadah an 29:35 Matraf bin Abdillah, also commenting on 29:38 the scholar named Qatadah, from Matraf 29:43 bin Abdillah. "Q lailatan la tati 29:48 alaihim illa yusuna fiha lillahi azza 29:51 wa jall." Oh God, they sleep so little. 30:00 They use so little time for rest, those 30:02 who are righteous. Except, oh my God, 30:07 they pray in those nights. They don't 30:13 pray to seek popularity, right? They 30:17 don't pray to make themselves appear 30:19 like, "Look, I am a pious person.""My 30:21 forehead is already black." Many have 30:25 foreheads that are 30:26 black. "This is the sign that I am an 30:29 expert in tahajud." Not necessarily. 30:31 The "simah"(mark) there is not a black 30:33 mark on the forehead. 30:35 The mark is a demeanor of noble 30:36 character. 30:37 That is the essence of it. It’s 30:39 useless, right, having a black forehead 30:41 but loving to slander others. It’s 30:45 useless to have a black forehead and 30:47 claim to be a tahajud expert, but your 30:49 mouth lets out...Subhanallah. Indecent 30:52 words are spoken. "Qalilan min al-laili 30:56 ma yahja'un." So little, when the night 30:59 comes. "Illa qalilan." Except they 31:03 honor that night with what? With prayer 31:07 . The prayer is solely for Allah, the 31:11 Almighty. Intended only to seek the 31:13 pleasure of the face of Allah Subhanahu 31:15 wa ta'ala. Now, when is this righteous 31:19 prayer performed? "Imma min awaliha." 31:24 Is it at the beginning? The beginning 31:26 of the night is perhaps from Maghrib to 31:28 Isha, that's "anis," right? "Wa imma 31:31 min ausatiha," or from the middle of it 31:34 . "Awaliha wa imma min ausatiha." Is it 31:39 at the beginning of the night or at the 31:41 end or the middle of the night? Because 31:44 for the middle of the night, the hadith 31:45 is already authentic, yes. That Allah 31:48 Subhanahu wa ta'ala descends to this 31:51 earth in the last third of the night. 31:54 As for how He descends? We cannot 31:57 describe or explain the way it happens. 32:02 That is the power of Allah. "Laisa 32:04 kamithlihi syai'un wa huwa as-sami'ul 32:07 bashir." Nothing is comparable to Allah 32:09 . Allah is All-Hearing and All-Seeing. 32:15 "Wa qala Mujahid." And it was also said 32:17 by Mujahid regarding this verse, "Qalla 32:22 ma yarquduna lailatan hatta yusbihu la 32:25 yatahajjadun." Very few of those 32:29 righteous people sleep through the 32:32 night, so they worry, right? Sleeping 32:35 and snoring until dawn without 32:36 performing tahajud. Well, that's it. 32:42 Now, here, many brothers, including 32:44 Anas bin Malik radhiallahu anhu, also 32:46 commented on this verse. How important 32:49 this verse is among the scholars, among 32:52 those who are righteous before Allah, 32:54 so they followed what the purpose and 32:57 meaning of this verse is. So Anas bin 33:00 Malik said, from Abu Aliyah, "Kanu 33:03 yusalluna bainal maghrib wal isya." Now 33:07 , here, "anis" is the beginning of the 33:11 night, meaning "kanu yusalluna bainal 33:14 maghrib wal isya." Those righteous 33:18 people, they pray from the time of 33:20 Maghrib until the time of Isha. 33:25 There is the term "anis," qiyamullail 33:28 and tahajud. 33:32 The difference? 33:33 What is the difference? If it's 33:34 qiyamullail, right? It can be performed 33:40 from Maghrib until going to sleep, that 33:43 is qiyamullail. Do you understand? 33:48 Don't equate it with tahajud. Tahajud 33:51 is an act of worship after sleeping. 33:54 Sleeping. 33:54 Sleeping. It's different, okay? So, 33:58 qiyamullail is not just praying after 34:00 sleeping; that is what is called 34:01 qiyamullail. Not exactly. That's called 34:04 Tahajud. But Qiyamulail is when someone 34:08 uses their nighttime hours for prayer. 34:12 And when is that? From Maghrib until 34:15 bedtime. What if they sleep, rest, and 34:18 then wake up to pray? 34:20 That is Tahajud. See? 34:23 So Qiyamulail is not Tahajud. They're 34:25 different. Yes, they are different. Now 34:28 , those who are devout pray from 34:31 Maghrib because, well, for Maghrib 34:35 there is a—there isn't a Qabliyah... 34:40 No, there is no Qabliyah, but there is 34:42 Ba'diyah, right? But there is a prayer 34:46 called Bainal Azanain. So, after the 34:50 Maghrib Adhan, it doesn't mean there is 34:52 no Sunnah prayer. There is a Sunnah 34:54 prayer. The Sunnah prayer is called "Fi 34:56 kulli azanain shalatun." Meaning, 34:59 between every two calls—the Adhan and 35:01 the Iqamah. 35:04 There is a prayer, a Sunnah prayer, 35:07 between the Adhan and the Iqamah. But 35:11 that is not referred to as Qabliyah. 35:15 Instead, there is Ba'diyah. The 35:17 Ba'diyah is two rakaats, right? Now, 35:19 after performing the Ba'diyah, if one 35:21 continues to pray until Isha, that is 35:23 part of Qiyamulail. It is included in 35:25 Qiyam...... 35:26 Qiyamulail. Remember, Tahajud is when 35:30 someone sleeps first, wakes up, and 35:32 then prays at night; that is called 35:35 Tahajud. Tahajud is after sleeping. If 35:40 it’s before sleeping, it’s called 35:41 Qiyamulail. This was the first point. 35:47 And the meaning of the verse mentioned 35:51 earlier: "Qalilan minal laili ma 35:54 yahja'un." The meaning of the second " 35:58 ma" here is...In the first case, the " 36:01 ma" referred to "Qalilan minal laili ma 36:03 yahja'un." Very little of the night 36:05 they spent in sleep, right? Meanwhile, 36:08 here the second "ma" acts as a 36:10 Masdariyah, meaning "Qalilan min..."" 36:15 ...hujuhim." This Masdar is actually 36:21 similar, just a difference between 36:25 negation and Masdariyah. Brothers, may 36:33 Allah have mercy on us, in Arabic there 36:35 is the Masdar and there is......the 36:39 Fi'il Madhi. 36:41 The past tense verb. 36:42 There is a basic derivation in Arabic; 36:45 words spoken have two sources. The 36:49 source is either a Masdar or a Fi'il 36:52 Madhi. Now, most scholars derive the 36:56 source of those words from the Fi'il 37:00 Madhi. 37:09 Now, I feel compelled to share this, 37:12 brothers, for what purpose? So we can 37:16 make better use of our lives. 37:21 Especially for people like us who are 37:23 already 60 years old, right? 37:26 61 years old, subhanallah, we are 37:28 getting close to......to the grave. 37:31 Allahu Akbar. 37:33 Hasan Al-Basri, a great scholar from 37:35 Baghdad, said this. Hasan Al-Basri said 37:38 "Qalilan minal laili ma yahja'un" means 37:42 Qiyamulail. They do not sleep at night 37:47 except for a little while......until 37:53 the dawn breaks. So, the righteous 37:59 always stand at night, O brothers of 38:02 faith. You see, Qiyamulail is before 38:07 sleeping, right? "Fala yanamuna minal 38:10 laili illa qalila," they don't sleep at 38:12 night except for a very little bit. So 38:17 when they sleep, they wake up energized 38:22 again and continue until dawn. And they 38:28 keep worshiping until the time of Sahur 38:30 arrives. The time of Sahur is perhaps 38:33 ...3:00. Nowadays, the dawn prayer call 38:37 is at 15 past. 38:38 Yes. Oh God, it's getting later, isn't 38:44 it? Now, when they have utilized it, at 38:51 the time of Sahar, before the pre-dawn 38:53 meal, they rest, then they continue 38:56 their worship until the time of Sahar, 38:58 which is the pre-dawn time filled by 39:01 them with seeking forgiveness at that 39:04 hour. Some scholars say, "What is the 39:06 prayer during that Sahar time, Anis?" 39:09 Scholars say, "Recite a prayer that is, 39:12 Subhanallah, light but has a powerful 39:14 effect." 39:16 What is the prayer? Scholars say, " 39:20 Recite the prayer of forgiveness, 39:22 Astaghfirullahalazim alladzi la ilaha 39:25 illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu 39:27 ilaihi." You like that, right? 39:31 Yes. "Astaghfirullahalazim alladzi la 39:36 ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu 39:39 ilaihi," recite it three times, five 39:42 times, it's up to you; the impact and 39:46 effect are extraordinary when 39:49 supplicated during the pre-dawn time, 39:52 during Sahar. That time of Sahar is 39:56 actually the time for the pre-dawn meal 39:57 , you see. The effect is very powerful. 40:04 Now, here there are still opinions 40:10 because this verse invites many 40:13 scholars to interpret it, you know. In 40:20 fact, Ahnaf bin Qais said, there is a 40:24 scholar named Ahnaf bin Qais, who 40:27 interpreted the meaning of Allah's word 40:30 , "Kanu qolilam minallaili ma yahjaun," 40:34 meaning they sleep only a little. Those 40:39 righteous people do not sleep much. By 40:43 medical standards, how much is sleep, 40:45 Anis? How many hours? 40:48 8 hours. That's it then. No, no Tahajud 40:50 prayer. Right? There's no worship then, 40:55 if that's the case, right? Now, this is 40:58 research on health. But health 41:03 according to the Prophet, according to 41:05 this verse, little sleep is enough, and 41:07 health lies in worship. Just imagine, 41:13 health lies in worship. Sleep is just 41:18 for rest, you see. Anis, 41:20 where is the source of health? It's in 41:23 worship. Yes. So, Ustaz's analogy is 41:28 like this. Ustaz often goes out of town 41:30 , right Anis? Yes. 41:32 When driving on the Cipali toll road, 41:35 especially, I get very sleepy. It's bad 41:38 at 1:00 AM, Ustaz, because I like to 41:41 drive from 12:00 until dawn at my own 41:43 mosque in Majalengka, it's pleasant. 41:46 But why am I so sleepy? I pull over, 41:51 Ustaz, at rest area 103 or rest area 81 41:54 , right? That's just 5 minutes and done 41:58 . 42:00 Rest. 42:01 Rest, just 5 or 10 minutes and that's 42:03 it, right? If my wife wants to sleep 42:08 too, if she doesn't, I ask her to wake 42:09 me up in 10 minutes. Well, I don't know 42:12 , I'm usually awake before the 10 42:13 minutes are up. The spirit is 42:14 extraordinary. That means a person with 42:17 spirit is ready with health to continue 42:18 the journey. 42:20 Now, this is according to our analysis. 42:22 Health does not lie in how much you 42:24 sleep. Sleep is only for rest. True 42:29 health lies in worship. Look here, take 42:34 a look at this verse. You can't mess 42:36 around with the verses, right? That's 42:38 how it is. Now, regarding the doctor's 42:40 calculation that for health you should 42:42 sleep for 8 hours. Calculate it, if 42:44 it's 8 hours from Isha, what time do 42:46 you wake up? You could even miss the 42:50 Fajr prayer. If someone sleeps at 10. 42:52 At 11:00, right? It’s all gone. There 42:55 won't be any Tahajud prayer then. The 42:58 point is, brothers, when the health 43:01 world gives us directions to sleep 8 43:04 hours for our health, it is relative in 43:07 nature. But according to this verse, 43:11 little sleep is extraordinary health. 43:14 Increase your worship. Now, here, 43:20 brothers, Al-Ahnaf bin Qais, when 43:23 interpreting the verse "kanu qolilam 43:26 minallaili ma yahjaun," meant they 43:30 slept only a little. They did not sleep 43:33 except for a little. He said, then he 43:37 said. Then Ahnaf bin Qais said, "I am 43:39 not among the people of this verse.""I 43:44 personally, oh friends," he said, who 43:46 said that again? That is Ahnaf bin Qais 43:49 . 43:50 Ahnaf bin Qais said, "I am not included 43:53 in this verse." Allahu Akbar. Even 43:57 though he was also a devout worshiper, 43:59 he was humble. "I am not among the 44:01 people of this verse." I am not 44:04 included in this verse. Even though he 44:06 was a devout worshiper. And Hasan 44:11 Al-Basri said. And Hasan Al-Basri 44:14 commented on Ahnaf bin Qais saying, "He 44:17 compared his deeds to the deeds of the 44:20 people of Paradise." Ahnaf bin Qais was 44:24 comparing his worship. That is it. He 44:29 was also a devout worshiper. But when 44:31 he came across this verse, he said, "Oh 44:33 , I am not included in this verse." 44:37 Even though he also slept very little. 44:39 He also had worship. Then Hasan 44:42 Al-Basri told the story of Al-Ahnaf bin 44:45 Qais. He said, "I compared my deeds to 44:49 the deeds of the people of Paradise." 44:52 Yes, I compared my deeds with those of 44:55 the people of Paradise. Right? That is 44:58 "faidza qaumun qod bayanuni.""Faidza 45:04 qaumun qod bayanuni baunan baida," like 45:07 that. Now, suddenly when...Al-Ahnaf bin 45:17 Qais said this, comparing my worship 45:20 with, subhanallah, the people of 45:22 Paradise, my worship is nothing, he 45:24 said. Left far behind. Even though he 45:30 was also a person of... 45:32 Worship. 45:34 If we picture how many prayers, how 45:36 many rakaats, he prayed a little, he 45:37 was also a worshiper, right? But don't 45:41 forget that even if it's little, 45:43 perform righteous deeds, even if it is 45:46 small. Even if it's little, the little 45:49 will be multiplied in reward. I am 45:53 nothing, it turns out, when...my 46:00 worship is compared to the deeds of the 46:02 people of Paradise. "Faidun qod bayan 46:05 baid." Oh God, it's nothing. It turns 46:09 out I am left far behind by their 46:11 worship. My worship is nothing. We 46:18 cannot reach the deeds of those who 46:20 slept only a little at night. Because 46:25 why? Because they turned out to always 46:28 fill their nights with Tahajud. So if 46:32 at night they sleep for 1 hour, 2 hours 46:34 , maybe some even half an hour and wake 46:37 up for Tahajud, Allah. And Al-Ahnaf bin 46:43 Qais also said, "Wa aradtu amali ala 46:46 ahli an-nar.""And when I compared my 46:50 worship with that of the people of hell 46:53 ." God forbid. "Faidtu laisa fihim 46:57 mukadzibun bikitabillahi wa 47:00 birusulillah.""And His messengers." The 47:04 messengers are plural. It turns out I 47:07 found my deeds when compared to the 47:09 people of hell. "Faidtu laisa fihim." 47:13 It turns out those people of hell have 47:16 no goodness in them at all. Why? In 47:20 their world, they were "mukadzibun." 47:22 Always lying and denying. So remember 47:26 those groups who like to lie, right. 47:30 Fear Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Lying 47:34 about the book of Allah and lying about 47:36 the messengers of Allah who were sent. 47:39 The meaning of lying is to not 47:40 acknowledge. To not acknowledge. " 47:42 Mukadzibuna bil ba'si ba'dal maut." 47:45 They also deny the existence of the 47:47 resurrection after death. Those are the 47:51 liars, the arrogant ones. "Waqad 47:57 wajadtu min khairina manzilatan." Now, 48:02 but Al-Ahnaf bin Qais said, suddenly I 48:06 found there are good deeds among us 48:09 that are a high position for us, these 48:12 servants of Allah. What is the best for 48:17 us today? Because we want to surpass 48:21 the worship of those who do Tahajjud. 48:22 That is impossible, Anis. Right? But we 48:25 also don't want to despair and just 48:27 stop praying, right? Like disbelievers, 48:29 that is also impossible, right? But 48:32 here is what is best for us. What did 48:36 Al-Ahnaf bin Qais say? He said, " 48:40 Khalathu amalan sholihan wa akharo 48:44 sayi'an." A person becomes good when 48:50 they cannot match the worship of the 48:54 pious in this verse, so they do not 48:57 despair and end up doing nothing. What 49:00 did Al-Qais bin Ahnaf say? Then the 49:05 best position for us, for people like 49:09 us, is to do something where perhaps if 49:12 yesterday we did a bad deed, then today 49:16 that bad deed is redeemed by a good 49:20 deed. That's it, Anis, "khalathu amalan 49:25 sholihan wa akharo sayi'an." This is 49:27 the best for us. Meaning, bad deeds are 49:30 replaced by good deeds. Deeds. Don't do 49:33 the opposite, good deeds followed by 49:35 evil, that is not allowed. Now, that is 49:38 "khalathu amalan sholihan." Those who 49:42 live in this world, sometimes good, 49:44 sometimes bad. We are like that. 49:47 Humans. 49:48 That is our nature. 49:50 Now, Anis, let's not look too far; 49:53 among us righteous people, what do we 49:56 have? There are those among us who can 50:00 do Tahajjud for 2 hours. Huh. 50:03 We do Fajr just at the very last minute 50:06 . 50:07 But even if it's last minute, don't let 50:09 it pass. If you still have time to do 50:11 wudu. 50:12 Even if you get one rak'ah. 50:15 One rak'ah is part of the Witr. 50:18 Right? Do it. 50:20 That's it. Do not despair of Allah's 50:23 mercy. 50:25 But if we compare our lives to people 50:27 whose Tahajjud is 3 hours long, right. 50:31 Even, subhanallah al-adhim, their 50:32 prayers are extraordinary, making us 50:34 think, "Oh, who am I?" But if we 50:37 compare ourselves to the disbelievers, 50:39 we are much more noble. You know. Here 50:43 there is a servant of Allah who mixes 50:45 good and bad deeds. We always mix up 50:50 our good and bad deeds, right? Right? 50:53 Ah, this is us. But don't let the bad 50:57 deeds outweigh the good deeds. H It 51:03 seems that is all, Anis. Uh but the 51:09 Ustaz will not stop before there is 51:11 something urgent to convey. 51:14 Now, this was the information about " 51:17 kanu qolilan min al-layli ma yahja'un." 51:21 They sleep very little. Well, at night. 51:25 Now, what is the guidance of the 51:27 Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam? 51:30 When the Prophet sallallahu alaihi 51:33 wasallam guided his people to always do 51:36 good deeds and worship. So, Ikhwan 51:40 fillah, the Prophet sallallahu alaihi 51:43 wasallam guided us, his people. "Try it 51:50 ," said the Prophet. Fakana awwalu ma 51:52 sami'uhu sallallahu alaihi wasallam. 51:54 Ya'kul. From one of the Prophet's 51:58 instructions heard by Al-Ahnaf bin Qais 52:01 earlier, right? The Prophet said, "Ya 52:05 ayyuhan-nas, at'imut-ta'am.""O mankind, 52:10 feed the hungry.""An-nas" means mankind 52:13 , right? Mankind can be Muslim, or can 52:17 be... 52:17 infidel. 52:18 Disbeliever. Now, is there any program 52:22 by non-Muslims providing aid to Muslims 52:26 ? 52:26 There is, right? 52:28 Like we know, on what television, what 52:30 is that Buddhist one? 52:32 Yes, there is... 52:33 DAAI, right? 52:35 Their aid can be felt by the Muslim 52:38 community, right? Now, are we allowed 52:41 to accept it? Yes, we are. Well. Even 52:44 the Prophet said, "O mankind, feed the 52:47 hungry." It doesn't say "O you who 52:51 believe," right? "O mankind, feed the 52:56 hungry." Give food to those in need. 53:02 Now, what if a Muslim needs food? While 53:04 the food is with a disbeliever, the 53:06 Muslim...If they give it, "Can we eat 53:09 it?""Go ahead." As long as the type of 53:13 food is permitted by Allah and His 53:15 Prophet. 53:16 Yes, and vice versa. 53:17 Yes, like that. Conversely, Muslims 53:20 meeting friends, servants of Allah, 53:22 they are also our brothers as humans, 53:25 there is nothing wrong with helping 53:27 them if they are in need. "Wa 53:31 silul-arham." After feeding people, 53:35 what was the first one? What is our 53:38 second duty? "Wa silul-arham." 53:43 Reconnect the severed ties of kinship. 53:47 Connect them back. Now, this is our " 53:50 radio" for silaturahim. "Wa afsus-salam 53:56 ." Don't forget, your life must be 53:59 filled with peace in your daily speech. 54:02 Assalamu'alaikum. Wa'alaikumussalam. 54:05 Peace, peace. Say the word "salam" 54:08 everywhere. Because this word of peace 54:12 is the expression of safety spoken by 54:14 humans in this world and the hereafter. 54:19 In this world and the hereafter. "Wa 54:22 sallu bil-layli wan-nasu niyam." So 54:26 rise at night to pray when most people 54:30 are snoring in their sleep. If you have 54:36 provided food, if you have also done 54:38 what was mentioned earlier? Reconnected 54:42 the severed ties of kinship. If you 54:45 also spread peace in the world and pray 54:48 at night, the tahajud prayer, what does 54:51 the Messenger, peace be upon him, say? 54:54 Tadkhulu al jannata bisalam. Understand 54:58 ? You will easily enter Paradise in a 55:02 state of peace, with ease and 55:06 safety. Allahu Akbar walillahilhamd. 55:10 Even the Paradise that is attained 55:12 comes with total ease and peace. The 55:16 Messenger said, "Inna Rasulullah 55:18 sallallahu alaihi wasallam qal inna fil 55:21 jannah gurofan.""Indeed, in Paradise, 55:26 there are palaces, right?" Yurahiruha 55:31 min batiniha, those palaces can be seen 55:34 from the outside and from the inside. 55:38 Zahir means what is visible; yes, what 55:41 is visible is that there are palaces 55:43 that can be seen from a distance even 55:45 if we are not inside them, MashaAllah. 55:48 And min batiniha wainiha, and from the 55:54 inside it can be seen from the outside, 55:56 from the outside it can be seen from 55:58 the inside. That Paradise is 56:00 transparent. When asked, ya faqala Abu 56:03 Musa al-Asy'ari may Allah be pleased 56:05 with him. This Abu Musa al-Asy'ari is, 56:08 uh, what do you call it? The one from 56:10 the Ash'ariyah creed, yes. But we will 56:12 learn about this Ash'ari creed later. 56:16 Liman ya Rasulullah. Whose are such 56:20 palaces in Paradise? To whom do such 56:24 palaces belong? Faqala Nabi sallallahu 56:28 alaihi wasallam liman alanal kalam. For 56:32 the servants of Allah who always speak 56:36 in a beautiful, kind manner, right? 56:41 What is their speech like? If they 56:44 speak, it doesn't hurt others; that is 56:47 liman alanal kalam. And such palaces in 56:52 Paradise are for the servants of Allah 56:57 who speak kindly, feed those in need, 57:02 and stand in prayer at night while 57:07 others are snoring in their sleep. 57:11 Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. Well, this 57:13 is all that I can convey. Hopefully, 57:15 this explanation will be beneficial for 57:17 all of us. Amin ya rabbal alamin. 57:19 Amin ya rabbal alamin. MashaAllah. May 57:22 Allah reward you, Ustaz, for the sermon 57:25 delivered regarding the discussion of 57:27 Quran Surah Adh-Dhariyat, chapter 51, 57:30 verses 15 through 19, Ustaz. Yes. If we 57:35 look at verses 15 and 16, they discuss 57:38 those who are pious and those who 57:40 always do good, Ustaz. 57:42 Subhanallah. 57:43 Whose guarantee is that Allah grants 57:45 them Paradise. MashaAllah. And in the 57:49 following verses, it also discusses the 57:53 righteous who sleep very little, Ustaz, 57:57 by 57:58 always waking up in the last third of 57:59 the night, specifically for tahajud, 58:00 Ustaz. 58:01 Subhanallah. 58:02 Not just qiyamulail, Ustaz. 58:03 Qiyamulail is from Maghrib to Isha or 58:06 before sleeping. 58:07 But tahajud is when you sleep, wake up, 58:10 and then pray, that is tahajud, Ustaz. 58:13 MashaAllah. Very well. Hopefully, this 58:15 is beneficial for all of us, Ustaz. We 58:17 will go straight to the question and 58:18 answer session, Ustaz. Yes, 58:19 because 58:21 of limited time, we will read 58:24 the Incoming questions, Ustaz. Let me 58:28 read two questions for you. I'll 58:30 combine them directly, Ustaz, okay? 58:31 Because time 58:33 is what limits us. This first one is 58:36 from Mr. Yudi in Bogor. 58:38 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 58:39 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. Wa'alaikumussalam 58:41 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Mr. Yudi. 58:43 Uh, Ustaz just discussed about piety. 58:48 My question is, how can we be more 58:49 pious to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala when 58:51 we are facing many trials? Now, the 58:55 next question, Ustaz, this one is from 58:57 YouTube, Ustaz. From Fatma Bayu. 59:00 Yeah. 59:00 Uh hold on, Ustaz, okay. From Fatma 59:05 Bayu. Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 59:06 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. 59:07 Wa'alaikumussalam. I want to ask, what 59:09 if my husband hasn't performed Friday 59:12 prayers for almost 2 months because the 59:15 mosque is too far? My husband is a 59:17 construction worker, Ustaz. And what 59:19 about me, do I also bear the sin, Ustaz 59:22 ? Two questions, Ustaz. 59:24 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. For Mr. Yudi, 59:26 how do we maintain our piety? 59:29 Yeah. 59:29 Piety is diverse, Mr. Yudi. 59:31 Alhamdulillah. One of them is patience. 59:34 Hm. in facing life's trials, it's 59:36 patience. So, pious people in living 59:39 their lives with the element of 59:42 patience in the end times, in the 59:44 hereafter, those who were patient in 59:46 the world, patient through various 59:49 trials, right? 59:51 Uh, they are asked by the angels when 59:53 entering heaven, "Hey, why is it so 59:55 easy for you to enter heaven? 59:58 What is the secret?" Like that. So 1:00:01 those who enter heaven through patience 1:00:04 respond, "Nahnu sabirun." We enter 1:00:07 heaven easily because in the world we 1:00:10 were always patient. " 1:00:12 H 1:00:13 that's it. Then the angels say," What 1:00:17 kind of patience did you practice to 1:00:19 enter heaven so easily? "" There are 1:00:22 three types of patience, Anis. Patience 1:00:25 , they say, is patience when we face 1:00:27 tragedy. Right? Then patience when we 1:00:34 uh what do you call it? Perform Allah's 1:00:38 commands 1:00:40 and avoid Allah's prohibitions, that's 1:00:42 patience, right? And this kind of 1:00:46 patience must continue to cling to us 1:00:49 until death. Some ask, "Ustaz, does 1:00:52 patience have a limit?""Yesterday, 1:00:55 Ustaz Abdul Somad said, 'Patience has a 1:00:58 limit.'" 1:00:58 Hm. Because there's a hadith where if 1:01:01 someone hits you once, stay silent; 1:01:03 twice, 1:01:05 still stay silent; the third time, 1:01:06 only then 1:01:07 you fight back. 1:01:09 Yes, there is a hadith for that. 1:01:11 But it's not wrong if we say that 1:01:13 patience has no limit 1:01:15 because our life must last until death. 1:01:18 Why is there no limit to patience? 1:01:19 Because our life must last until death. 1:01:22 So that patience must follow us until 1:01:24 we 1:01:25 until death. So, so this patience, 1:01:28 Ikhwan, is like that. So people who are 1:01:31 patient and enter heaven are 1:01:32 extraordinary. Well, answering them, " 1:01:35 We are patient with Allah's commands 1:01:37 and stay away from His prohibitions, 1:01:39 and we are patient with the calamities 1:01:41 that Allah always gives us.""Well, 1:01:43 that's it." Then, what about the lady 1:01:45 from earlier, Nanis? 1:01:46 She was asking about her husband who 1:01:48 rarely prays, 1:01:49 her husband hasn't performed Friday 1:01:51 prayers for 2 months because there is 1:01:54 uh, an 'illah. An' illah is a cause. 1:01:56 The cause is still far, 1:01:59 right? Then he is a manual laborer, 1:02:01 right? 1:02:03 Uh, in essence, when Friday prayer is 1:02:06 an obligation, then a believer must 1:02:09 fulfill that obligation. No matter how 1:02:13 hard it is for him to manage his time 1:02:15 or how difficult it is due to the 1:02:17 mosque being far away. Yes, the prayer 1:02:19 must still be performed. But if he 1:02:22 doesn't perform Friday prayer for 2 1:02:24 months, how many is that? Eight times? 1:02:26 Yes. 1:02:26 Right? Eight times missing Friday 1:02:28 prayers. I'm worried there's a threat. 1:02:31 There is already a threat. Whoever does 1:02:33 not pray Friday prayers three times is 1:02:36 considered a hypocrite, right? Now, 1:02:39 it means now advise the wives to tell 1:02:41 their husbands to perform Friday 1:02:43 prayers with the Muslims tomorrow. 1:02:45 Friday, figuratively, it must be Friday 1:02:47 . But he must still perform the Dhuhr 1:02:50 prayer. Subject to the prayer sanction, 1:02:54 Dhuhr prayer at his workplace. Let's 1:02:57 say the reason is indeed that the 1:02:59 mosque is far and he is a construction 1:03:01 worker; for Friday prayer, there is 1:03:03 actually no excuse. He still has to 1:03:06 perform the Dhuhr prayer like that. 1:03:08 Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. We pray that 1:03:11 her husband receives abundant 1:03:13 sustenance so he can perform worship in 1:03:15 accordance with what is directed by 1:03:17 Allah and His Messenger. Wallahu a'lam. 1:03:20 Wallahu a'lam. Alright, Ustaz, please 1:03:22 go ahead with the conclusion that Ustaz 1:03:24 Umar will convey regarding our 1:03:26 discussion. Ustaz. 1:03:28 This verse, brothers in faith, 1:03:30 discusses Allah's invitation to His 1:03:32 servants to think while living in this 1:03:34 world. What is the purpose of life? 1:03:37 Right? 1:03:38 Yes. After we leave this world, where 1:03:40 do we return? Right? So this verse 1:03:44 describes our return at that time to 1:03:45 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:03:48 One day, we will return to Allah. Many 1:03:52 people return to Allah while listening 1:03:53 to a Friday sermon, while prostrating, 1:03:55 while reading the Quran. 1:03:58 But in essence, those who truly return 1:04:01 to Allah are those who return to Him 1:04:04 while they are free from polytheism. 1:04:08 When they are free from disbelief, and 1:04:11 even free from hypocrisy. But how 1:04:15 wonderful it is when they are finished 1:04:16 being free from polytheism, free from 1:04:18 disbelief, free from hypocrisy. 1:04:22 Suddenly, they pass away while praying, 1:04:24 or pass away while reading the Quran. 1:04:27 Or pass away during a Friday sermon. 1:04:30 Yesterday I saw on YouTube, a scholar 1:04:33 giving a Friday sermon and passing away 1:04:36 , subhanallah, even the mayor of 1:04:39 Bandung, 1:04:40 from the PKS party, passed away during 1:04:42 a Friday sermon, subhanallah. 1:04:43 How beautiful that death is. So this is 1:04:46 an invitation to us, Allah's servants, 1:04:48 to reflect for a moment on the time 1:04:51 Allah has given us. Let us prioritize 1:04:53 our worship of Allah Subhanahu wa 1:04:56 ta'ala together. After all, the 1:04:58 benefits will be reaped by those who 1:05:00 perform it. Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. 1:05:02 May we be among the servants of Allah 1:05:04 granted the strength to follow this 1:05:06 verse. Amen. 1:05:07 Amen, ya Rabbal alamin. Very well. 1:05:10 Jazakallah khair, Ustaz Umar Rasyid 1:05:12 Hasan, for delivering your sermon this 1:05:14 morning, Ustaz. MashaAllah, it was very 1:05:15 beneficial. Hopefully, it will 1:05:17 increase our faith and also our piety, 1:05:20 Ustaz. InshaAllah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:05:22 Brothers and sisters, listeners of 1:05:23 Radio Sultraim. That concludes our 1:05:26 program this morning with Ustaz Umar 1:05:29 Rasyid Hasan, discussing the Tafsir 1:05:32 Ibnu Katsir on Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 1:05:35 chapter 51, verses 15 through 19. May 1:05:40 it increase our knowledge, and 1:05:42 hopefully, strengthen our faith and 1:05:44 piety before Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:05:48 And may we always be guarded in our 1:05:50 goodness and piety before Allah 1:05:52 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:05:53 O Lord. Finally, I am Muhammad Anis 1:05:56 Mualim, along with the Rasil crew on 1:05:58 duty this morning: Atep on Rasil TV 1:06:01 camera and Agus Susilo as our radio 1:06:04 operator.
