Alhamdulillah, all praise is 3:11 due to Allah who still grants us, up to 3:13 this very moment, the opportunity to 3:18 live in this world. Certainly, it is 3:22 not without reason that Allah grants 3:24 this opportunity to us. May we take 3:28 this chance, this life opportunity, to 3:32 constantly correct what is still wrong 3:35 in our lives, adjusting our behavior 3:38 according to the guidance of the Quran 3:41 and the hadiths, as well as the Sunnah 3:45 of the Prophet Muhammad, so that we 3:48 will later return to the side of Allah 3:51 Subhanahu wa ta'ala in a good state, in 3:55 a state of*husnul khatimah*. May peace 4:00 and blessings always be upon our guide, 4:03 our*qudwah hasanah*, our Prophet 4:04 Muhammad, may the peace and blessings 4:07 of Allah be upon him. Likewise, to all 4:10 of his family and companions. May we 4:14 also be steadfast in learning, 4:16 practicing, and preaching the values 4:18 that he, may the peace and blessings of 4:21 Allah be upon him, left for our lives 4:23 in this world. Gentlemen and ladies who 4:27 are blessed by Allah, brothers and 4:29 sisters, listeners of Radio Silaturahim 4:30 . Likewise, viewers of Rasil TV 4:34 wherever you are, in this month of 4:36 Safar, at the beginning of this month 4:39 of Safar, and also coinciding with the 4:42 month of August, we will, God willing, 4:45 continue our discussion on how speech 4:48 is something that is arranged in such a 4:51 very detailed way by Allah Subhanahu wa 4:54 ta'ala. Why? Because speech is one... 5:01 what? One element, yes, one element 5:06 that will be weighed on the Day of 5:10 Judgment. The scale of every human 5:13 being on the Day of Judgment. One of 5:16 them is how they speak. Speaking. And 5:22 also, it can take the form of verbal, 5:25 written, or gestures, expressions, and 5:28 so on. As Allah explains in Surah Qaf, 5:33 the 50th Surah, verses 17 and 18. The 5:39 words of Allah: *idh 5:41 yatalaqqal-mutalaqqiyaani 'anil-yamini 5:44 wa' anish-shimaali qa'id*. Remember 5:48 when two angels sit on the left and 5:51 right of every human being to record 5:55 their deeds. That is one. Second, in 5:58 the next verse, verse 18: *maa yalfidhu 6:01 min qawlin illaa ladaihi raqibun 'atid* 6:04 . And not a single word is uttered by a 6:11 human—the utterance can be verbal, 6:14 written, or gestures, facial 6:16 expressions, and so on. Not a single 6:27 word is uttered by a human, not one 6:29 communication, except that there is 6:32 surely an angel writing it down. So 6:38 these words are very important. They 6:41 are something that will become the 6:43 material for the scale later. Will they 6:46 add weight to our scale of good deeds, 6:49 or conversely, make our scale of good 6:51 deeds lighter, or in other words, 6:53 reduce the good deeds themselves? We 6:57 will see later, Allah explains in the 7:00 Qur'an, many people who have performed 7:04 good deeds, righteous deeds like 7:06 charity, formal worship, and so on, but 7:10 they are diminished because of their 7:13 tongues, their speech, because of the 7:16 result of one record which is separate 7:19 from the formal worship or charity. For 7:24 example, let's look at Quran Surah 2, 7:26 Al-Baqarah verse 264, at the beginning 7:28 of the third juz. The words of Allah 7:31 there: *audzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim* 7:34 . *Ya ayyuhalladzina amanu la tubthilu 7:38 shadaqatikum bil manni wal adza*. O you 7:43 who believe, do not nullify, do not 7:46 erase your rewards or the record of 7:49 your charity with what?*Bil manni wal 7:53 adza*. By reminding others of your 7:57 favor and by hurting the feelings of 7:58 the one who is given. Through what? 8:02 Through words. Reminding and hurting. * 8:05 Ya ayyuhalladzina amanu la tubthilu 8:07 shadaqatikum bil manni wal adza 8:09 kalladzi yunfiqu malahu ria’an-nas*. 8:14 Like a person who spends their wealth 8:16 in a state of showing off. This shows 8:20 that the person mentioned here 8:22 initially spends in a state of 8:24 sincerity, not showing off. But if it 8:28 is ruined by words, then it is like 8:30 someone who shows off. Someone who 8:33 shows off spends and gives charity, but 8:35 it is not accepted by Allah Subhanahu 8:36 wa ta'ala because of that showing off. 8:38 Now, if this person is a believer, they 8:41 sincerely spend and give charity, then 8:43 it is recorded by Allah Subhanahu wa 8:45 ta'ala. It is already recorded, but do 8:48 not ruin it by reminding and hurting 8:50 the person who receives it through the 8:52 tongue. It is like someone who spends 8:55 in a state of showing off. *Kamathali 9:00 safwanin' alaihi turabun*. The parable 9:12 is like a heap of rock upon which you 9:15 see sand, says Allah Subhanahu wa 9:17 ta'ala. Then came a rainstorm. In an 9:23 instant, you will no longer see that 9:25 sand sticking to the rock. Gone in an 9:28 instant. La yaqdiruna alai mim kasabu. 9:32 They are unable to preserve their good 9:36 deeds. Why? Because they were erased by 9:39 their own speech. Gentlemen and ladies, 9:42 may Allah have mercy on you. This 9:43 applies to charity, yes. Likewise with 9:45 other good deeds as well. If we hurt 9:48 someone's feelings, we will pay for it 9:50 in the hereafter. Therefore, it is 9:54 important for us to examine Allah's 9:58 guidance regarding our tongues, our 10:01 speech, whether verbal, written, or 10:05 otherwise, so that we truly guarantee 10:08 or protect our good deeds from 10:14 decreasing or evaporating and 10:16 disappearing just because of speech we 10:19 failed to guard. So, gentlemen and 10:24 ladies, may Allah have mercy on you, 10:26 there have been four—well, three 10:28 prior to today, and this is the fourth 10:30 we will discuss regarding the types of 10:32 speech. Qawlan (speech/words). Words 10:38 are tools to convey something from 10:43 within us. Likewise, this speech is a 10:49 bridge, so to speak, to cross or convey 10:54 what we want to express, what we want 10:58 to explain. Gentlemen and ladies, may 11:01 Allah have mercy on you. We have 11:03 already discussed three in previous 11:06 meetings: qawlan sadida, then layyina, 11:10 and baligha. Today we will discuss 11:14 thaqila. Gentlemen and ladies, may 11:17 Allah have mercy on you, brothers and 11:18 sisters, listeners of Radio Silaturahim 11:20 and viewers of Rasil TV wherever you 11:22 are. This thaqila, unlike the three 11:27 from yesterday—qawlan sadida, qawlan 11:32 layyina, and qawlan baligha—is the 11:36 speech we direct toward fellow humans, 11:41 toward children, or toward others. The 11:45 three qawlan from before were qawlan 11:48 sadida, qawlan baligha, and qawlan 11:51 layyina. Now, thaqila, gentlemen and 11:55 ladies, may Allah have mercy on you, is 11:59 speech or words that carry significant 12:02 weight. It is heavy in its weight, the 12:06 choice of sentences and words that are 12:09 substantial. We can direct this qawlan 12:14 thaqila toward Allah Subhanahu wa 12:17 ta'ala, which is prayer. Prayer, yes. 12:25 So, while the other qawlan are words we 12:28 convey to humans, tools for us to 12:30 communicate with people. There is also 12:35 a tool for us to communicate with Allah 12:37 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. That is qawlan 12:40 thaqila. Likewise, this qawlan thaqila 12:44 will have an impact on our daily lives. 12:48 Therefore, it is important for us to be 12:51 able to uncover what qawlan thaqila is. 12:56 Yes, we already recited it at the 12:59 beginning, namely Surah Al-Muzzammil, 13:02 the 73rd surah in the order of the 13:05 mushaf, in the 29th juz. Allah's words 13:10 there in this Surah Al-Muzzammil. Ya 13:13 ayyuhal Muzzammil. O you who wrap 13:16 yourself, referring to the Prophet 13:17 sallallahu alaihi wasallam, and of 13:19 course all of us who read the Quran. O 13:21 you who wraps himself [in clothing], 13:22 arise [to pray] the night, except for a 13:23 little. Wake up during the night, even 13:25 if only for a little while. Half of it, 13:29 or subtract a little from it, or add a 13:33 little to it. And recite the Quran with 13:39 tartil, slowly, absorbing its meaning. 13:44 Only then does the fifth verse state, " 13:50 Indeed, We are about to deliver to you 13:57 a message of great weight." So, what is 14:04 referred to there naturally goes back 14:08 to the fourth verse. And recite the 14:11 Quran with tartil. Recite the Quran 14:14 with tartil, and then We intend to 14:17 deliver the heavy weight of that Quran. 14:21 Now, the exegetes certainly have 14:24 several other opinions, but the most 14:27 common one is that what is meant by "a 14:31 heavy word" is the weight of the 14:33 sentences from the Noble Quran. 14:37 Brothers and sisters, may Allah have 14:39 mercy on you, what is meant by that? 14:41 The meaning is that in the Quran, we 14:45 will encounter words whose content 14:49 carries a weight far exceeding the 14:53 weight of the words themselves, or the 14:57 way they are composed. So the weight is 15:01 much heavier. Meaning the depth of 15:04 realization and the depth of meaning. 15:07 That is why later we will present some 15:12 examples, namely those heavily weighted 15:16 sentences, which are the prayers of the 15:19 prophets. The prayers of the prophets 15:22 as shown in the Quran. If we do not 15:26 grasp this "heavy word," then many 15:29 Muslims will mistakenly interpret those 15:32 prayers as merely limited to the tongue 15:35 . The prayers are memorized on the 15:40 tongue, but they carry no weight. For 15:45 instance, the prayer of Prophet Yunus 15:48 in the 21st surah, brothers and sisters 15:50 , verse 87, in Surah Al-Anbiya. "And [ 15:55 mention] the Man of the Fish..." and so 15:58 on, to the end of the verse, his prayer 16:01 : "La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka, inni 16:04 kuntu minaz-zalimin.""La ilaha illa 16:08 anta." There is no god except You, O 16:10 Allah. "Subhanaka inni kuntu 16:12 minaz-zalimin." Exalted are You, O 16:15 Allah. Indeed, I have been among the 16:18 wrongdoers. These words are easy to 16:20 memorize. Often read, repeated over and 16:27 over. But the weight truly lies in 16:32 Prophet Yunus's (peace be upon him) 16:35 realization of how mistaken he was 16:38 after following his anger. Therefore, 16:43 it cannot be separated from the 16:44 beginning of the verse. "Waz-nun." 16:48 Remember Zunun, or Yunus, when he went 16:55 away in a state of anger, in an 16:57 emotional state, abandoning his duty. 17:01 Congregation, may Allah have mercy on 17:02 you, he followed his emotions. Then he 17:08 assumed that no one could resolve his 17:10 affairs. That no one could, uh, resolve 17:17 it. Then Allah's scenario made him pray 17:24 in the darkness, namely inside the 17:26 belly of a fish at the bottom of the 17:29 ocean. "La ilaha illa anta" that I 17:31 mentioned, "subhanaka inni kuntu 17:32 minaz-zalimin." So the entire content 17:36 of the Quran, "recite the Quran with 17:38 tartil," is to give weight to us. That 17:44 what is read, its content is what is 17:47 important. It is not meant to be read 17:51 only from the throat upward. Not just 17:55 that, but it should carry weight inside 17:57 our chests, inside our souls. That is 18:00 what is important, that consciousness; 18:02 that is why the words within the Qur'an 18:05 are simply composed of Hijaiyah letters 18:08 . Letters that are light, simple 18:12 letters, but the weight of their 18:13 content. That is what makes them heavy. 18:17 That is why Allah presents the story, 18:19 the story of Prophet Yunus earlier. How 18:21 heavy that story is. So let us relate 18:24 it to ourselves. Let us feel how 18:28 Prophet Yunus felt when he realized how 18:31 mistaken he was, how unjust he was when 18:33 he followed his desires, his emotions. 18:39 So, if we recite that prayer thousands 18:42 of times, repeatedly, but the weight of 18:44 Prophet Yunus's consciousness does not 18:47 enter within us, then we lose its* 18:49 saqila*, we lose its heaviness. That is 18:52 it, ladies and gentlemen. So, *saqila* 18:56 means heavy in weight, its content is 18:58 heavy. Uh, its weight is heavy. Heavy 19:05 in weight, indeed. Let us, let us show 19:08 the word*saqila*on the screen. *Saqila* 19:11 , ladies and gentlemen, Allah uses that 19:14 word to explain, uh, sea clouds. Clouds 19:18 , clouds in the sky possess*saqila* 19:21 weight. What does that mean? It means 19:25 that when it contains water, rainwater, 19:28 water from the sea, absorbed into the 19:31 clouds, the clouds themselves are light 19:34 , but the weight they contain is what 19:37 is heavy. That is why when the clouds 19:41 already contain rain, Allah mentions* 19:44 sahaban thiqalan*. Ah, Qur'an, Chapter 19:48 7, Al-A'raf, verse 57. On the screen, I 19:52 show it on the Rasil TV screen. For 19:56 listeners of Radio Rasil wherever you 19:59 are, please open your mushaf so the 20:01 sentence is clear, and we can learn, uh 20:03 , to uncover word by word in the Qur'an 20:06 . The sentence is like this, verse 57, 20:09 ladies and gentlemen. Verse 57 of Surah 20:11 Al-A'raf, the 7th chapter. Allah's 20:16 sentence, *wa huwalladzi yursilur 20:18 riyaha bushran baina yadai rahmatihi*. 20:22 He is the One who sends the glad 20:25 tidings in the form of*riyah*or wind, 20:29 carrying*bushra*, glad tidings. *Baina 20:33 yadai rahmatihi*. Before the coming of, 20:36 in front of, the coming of Allah's 20:39 mercy. *Hatta*, meaning those clouds 20:42 earlier. *Hatta idza aqallat sahaban 20:45 thiqalan suqnahu libaladin mayyitin*and 20:48 so on. Until then, the clouds contained 20:52 rain. *Hatta idza aqallat sahaban 20:56 thiqalan*, became heavy. Why? Because 21:00 they contain water. Now, the weight of 21:03 that water mass itself is far heavier 21:06 than the cloud. That is why it uses the 21:10 word*thiqalan*. Indicating that the 21:14 cloud itself is light, but because it 21:17 is filled with water, its weight is far 21:20 heavier than itself, than the cloud 21:23 itself. Now, hopefully, this is enough 21:27 to illustrate how the words in the 21:30 Qur'an are actually light to pronounce. 21:34 But the meaning, the essence of the 21:38 meaning, is what makes it weighty or* 21:42 saqila*, *thiqalan*, heavy. So, 21:47 sometimes many people ask me, "What is 21:49 the prayer, Ustaz, to recite so that it 21:51 is like this, so that it is like that, 21:53 so that it is like this, so that it is 21:55 like that?" So, this prayer, ladies and 22:00 gentlemen whom Allah has blessed, is 22:03 not just something to be read, not just 22:06 reading this and then that, it is not 22:10 like that, but it has a heavy weight. 22:14 That is its value, that is exactly what 22:17 makes a difference. It is like the rain 22:22 contained within these clouds. If the 22:25 cloud does not contain rain, it is 22:27 light. It is nothing at all. Even if 22:30 there are many clouds, it does not 22:31 matter. But if it already contains 22:34 water inside, ah, it carries a heavy 22:36 weight. Now, that is what will bring 22:39 the mercy, as Allah says. Baina yadaihi 22:41 baina yadai rahmatih. Yes, like that. 22:45 So, the words in the Qur'an are " 22:47 tsaqila." They have a heavy weight. 22:52 That is precisely where we should pay 22:54 attention so that the prayers we convey 22:57 before Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala are 23:00 not just the movement of lips and 23:02 tongue, empty without meaning. That is 23:08 not it, brothers and sisters blessed by 23:09 Allah, just words that might be 23:11 repeated hundreds or thousands of times 23:13 . Not that. Because that means it lacks 23:18 heavy weight; instead, go deep, absorb 23:20 the meaning contained within it. And 23:25 when following the example of the 23:27 prophets saying those sentences, feel 23:29 it, feel that weight. Feel the attitude 23:33 of the prophets who provided those 23:36 examples of prayers in the Qur'an. That 23:39 is the point, ladies and gentlemen. 23:41 Qawlan tsaqila, a heavy word. There it 23:45 is. So that we know this is important. 23:49 Why? Because if it is not explained 23:52 that the weight is what truly 23:55 influences things. If it is not 23:59 explained, people might harbor bad 24:01 thoughts about Allah. Some people get 24:05 disappointed and resentful toward Allah 24:06 . They have prayed for a long time, 24:10 asking Allah, but it seems like nothing 24:12 is happening. If we explain it will be 24:16 answered on the Day of Judgment, they 24:18 might not accept it. I need it now, I 24:21 want it now, this problem is heavy, I 24:24 need a solution from Allah, and so on. 24:29 So it turns out that perhaps all this 24:33 time our prayers were just spoken words 24:36 that lacked weight because they were 24:39 light and carried no substance. Now, 24:44 this is what we want to study. Tsaqila, 24:48 the heavy weight within those words. 24:52 What are they? Ladies and gentlemen 24:55 whom Allah has blessed. Before we get 24:58 into that, I want to show an image on 25:00 the screen to understand how heavy the 25:03 clouds were earlier. So, it turns out 25:07 there are various types of clouds, 25:08 ladies and gentlemen. There are clouds 25:12 above in the form of ice crystals 25:14 because the temperature is very cold. 25:17 Above 8,000 meters above sea level. 25:21 There are clouds in the middle formed 25:24 by water droplets and ice crystals as 25:27 well. That is at an altitude of 4,000 25:31 meters above sea level and up. They are 25:35 called Altocumulus, so to speak. And 25:37 there are also clouds at the base, 25:39 ladies and gentlemen who are blessed by 25:41 Allah, formed by water droplets, yes. 25:43 They are, uh, below or at an altitude 25:46 of 2000 meters above sea level and 25:49 downwards, yes. So this is 25:52 extraordinary, uh, the clouds were 25:55 light at first, but with weight inside 25:57 them, they become heavy, you see. 26:00 Heavier than they were themselves. Now, 26:04 so, uh, let's just go straight into an 26:08 example now, okay. Example. For 26:12 instance, first I will take a few 26:15 examples, yes, I will take a few 26:18 examples of profound words that have 26:22 weight within the Qur'an, for example, 26:25 when we hope for a blessed home. Home. 26:30 Home, in English, there is a difference 26:34 between "house" and "home". That is it, 26:38 yes. If "house" means the physical 26:41 house, the building. But if "home" is 26:46 the interaction of the people who live 26:49 inside it. So, what is meant here is if 26:53 we want a blessed home. Blessed means 26:57 the interaction of the people who live 26:59 in it is full of blessings. Then we can 27:03 pray as the Prophet Nuh Alaih Salam 27:05 prayed. Yes. Rabbi anzilni munzalan 27:09 mubarokan wa anta khairul munzilin. We 27:11 have already memorized this prayer, God 27:13 willing, over and over again. Perhaps 27:15 we read this prayer in Surah 27:17 Al-Mu'minun, the 23rd chapter, verse 29 27:19 . But maybe what we have forgotten all 27:25 this time is the heavy weight of this 27:28 sentence. Namely what? It starts from 27:31 the 28th verse. It cannot be separated, 27:34 ladies and gentlemen. Now, this is what 27:36 I want to present as the first example, 27:39 verse 28, yes. So, Surah Al-Mu'minun, 27:42 chapter 23, verses 28 and 29. Now, the 27:46 sentence is there in the 28th verse. 27:48 Once again, this is what makes the 27:50 weight, uh, of this prayer become heavy 27:52 , yes. Not just the prayer itself 27:55 without weight, but precisely its 27:57 weight. The sentence is like this. 28:01 Faidastawaita, uh, anta waman ma'aka 28:05 alal fulk. When you and the people who 28:12 are with you are already, uh, on the 28:18 boat, then say, say what? 28:23 Alhamdulillahilladzi najjana 28:25 minal-qawmiz-zalimin. Praise be to 28:29 Allah who has saved us from the 28:31 wrongdoing people. The weight is here, 28:35 right here. Only then, "wa", this "wa" 28:39 shows the connection from the previous 28:42 verse to the next verse. It must not, 28:45 must not be separated. "Wa rabbi 28:47 anzilni", only then say it. Then say, 28:51 after the 28th verse mentioned earlier, 28:53 then say, "Rabbi anzilni munzalan 28:55 mubarokan wa anta khairul munzilin." O 28:58 Allah, anzilni, uh, let me descend or 29:01 place me, uh, munzalan mubarokan, in a 29:04 place that is full of blessings. Wa 29:07 anta khairul munzilin. You are the best 29:10 of those who provide a place, a 29:12 dwelling, a place to settle. That is 29:15 all done. This prayer is read after the 29:19 28th verse. Namely what? Faqul, 29:23 faqulilhamdulillahilladzi najjana 29:26 minal-zalimin. There was a sincere 29:31 effort from the Prophet Nuh Alaih Salam 29:34 along with everyone who joined his ship 29:37 to go and leave the wrongdoing of their 29:40 people. So, the point is, if we want a 29:46 blessed home, ladies and gentlemen who 29:49 are blessed by Allah, a blessed 29:52 dwelling, then we must truly strive to 29:55 separate ourselves, to save ourselves 29:58 from the injustices that might be 30:01 attached to us, like that. That might 30:07 be attached to us, starting from how we 30:10 spend our time, for example. How can we 30:15 ask for a blessed home, yet in our home 30:18 , for instance, we only, uh, what? 30:22 Spend our time on useless things. That 30:26 means the prayer is misguided. Even 30:28 though every time we pray, "Rabbi 30:30 anzilni munzalan mubarakan wa anta 30:31 khairul munzilin." But injustices are 30:34 still attached near our home or even 30:36 inside our home. Yes, the weight of the 30:40 prayer doesn't carry through, that’s 30:42 what I mean. Now, let's detach 30:45 ourselves first from those injustices 30:47 as hard as we can, just like Prophet 30:49 Nuh (Noah) Alaihi Salam did. Only then 30:53 do we pray to Allah. Rabbi anzilni 30:55 munzalan mubarakan wa anta khairul 30:57 munzilin. Like that, ladies and 30:59 gentlemen. Now, this portrait, this 31:03 complete picture, we must explain to 31:07 the community and to ourselves how to 31:10 use this prayer, how to pray so that, 31:13 once again, it becomes a "qawlan 31:16 thaqila"(a weighty word). Not just 31:20 empty words, like that. So, we strive 31:24 with all our might to what? To reduce 31:28 what? Not just reduce, but certainly 31:32 stop the injustices that may be 31:34 attached to our life habits, in our 31:37 home. Only then can the home become 31:40 blessed. Only then can the prayer " 31:45 Rabbi anzilni munzalan mubarakan wa 31:47 anta khairul munzilin" get on the right 31:49 track, on the right path. Ladies and 31:53 gentlemen. Now, this is what it means, 31:56 yes. But if injustices are still 31:59 attached, if there are still forms of 32:01 injustice toward others and so on 32:04 inside our home. Maybe we lie, we 32:06 deceive, we are on the phone, what? 32:10 Lying, deceiving, or gossiping about 32:12 others and other forms of injustice are 32:14 in our home, then the prayer is not in 32:17 accordance with what was exemplified by 32:19 Prophet Nuh (Noah) Alaihi Salam through 32:21 this Surah Al-Mu'minun, by Allah. Now, 32:25 that is the point. So, the weight is 32:28 actually located in, uh, what? Verses 32:32 28 and 29, especially in verse 28, 32:35 ladies and gentlemen. Okay, I'll be 32:40 quick, hopefully this can, uh, be 32:42 effective if we hope for a blessed home 32:45 . The prayer from Prophet Nuh (Noah) 32:47 Alaihi Salam. Now, the second example. 32:53 If we hope for a solution to the 32:56 problems in our lives, ladies and 32:58 gentlemen, please absorb the weight of 33:06 the "thaqila" prayer of Prophet Musa ( 33:09 Moses) Alaihi Salam, who at that time 33:12 was facing a very heavy problem because 33:15 he had accidentally killed someone. He 33:20 struck someone, and then this person 33:22 died. Ladies and gentlemen who are 33:24 blessed by Allah, in what? In a city, 33:28 for example. This person died because 33:30 he was defending someone. Now. Now. So 33:33 what? Because his blow was very hard, 33:36 the man died. Eventually, he became a 33:38 fugitive. He fled from his country and 33:41 arrived in the land of Madyan. The land 33:44 of Madyan was a neighboring country. 33:46 Something like that, yes. So, when he 33:50 needed help from Allah Subhanahu wa 33:52 ta'ala for a solution, as his life as a 33:55 fugitive on the run, having nothing, no 33:58 money, and so on, in such a desperate 34:00 situation. Well, that is where he later 34:05 expressed this prayer, yes. So, the 34:11 sentence, ladies and gentlemen, whom 34:13 Allah has blessed, is in Surah Al-Qasas 34:17 verse 23, and later in verse 24, we 34:19 know the prayer that is often recited, 34:23 verse 24, yes. Faqala, the Prophet, the 34:26 Prophet, Prophet Musa said, "Rabbi inni 34:29 lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir." 34:33 O Allah, I truly need your kindness and 34:36 help right now. Yes, khairin, bil 34:39 khairin faqir, I truly need You, Allah. 34:43 However, it cannot be separated from 34:45 verse 23. The weight of verses 23 and 34:48 24 is precisely in that connection, 34:50 ladies and gentlemen. So, if we recite 34:53 this prayer many times repeatedly. 34:55 Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min 34:57 khairin faqir. Rabbi what? min khairin 35:02 faqir and so on, without contemplating 35:04 the weight of Prophet Musa's struggle 35:06 and even following what Prophet Musa 35:08 did. It will be difficult for us to 35:12 find solutions in our lives. Because 35:16 what is exemplified is actually not 35:18 just an empty prayer without any 35:19 substance. So, that is it, yes. Qawlan 35:23 saqila, this is the Quran. Now, let's 35:25 try to read it as an explanation of how 35:28 Prophet Musa was able to overcome his 35:31 life difficulties. The sentence is like 35:34 this. Eh, walamma warada ma'a Madyan. 35:39 Yes. And when Prophet Musa in his 35:42 flight arrived at a spring in the land 35:45 of Madyan, wajada alaihi ummatan minan 35:48 nas. He saw or encountered a group of 35:55 people, a group of society, yes, who 35:59 were, what, watering their livestock. 36:05 Wawajada min dunihim imratain. Then he 36:10 saw there were two women, yes. Two 36:14 women, yes, who were, what is it called 36:19 , waiting, who were not able to draw 36:25 water either, yes. So, he saw these two 36:32 women in difficulty to be able to water 36:36 their livestock. Qala ma khatbukuma. 36:42 Then he came to approach these two 36:45 women to help. So, the first lesson so 36:49 that the prayer of Prophet Musa has the 36:52 weight to find a life solution is, 36:54 ladies and gentlemen, whom Allah has 36:56 blessed, do not be reluctant to help 36:58 others when we need Allah's help. That 37:02 is the first lesson. The weight is 37:07 there. So, that is why Prophet Musa 37:09 said, qala ma khatbukuma. What is the 37:12 matter with you two? Prophet Musa said 37:14 that, yes. What is holding you back? 37:16 What is the problem? Why aren't you 37:18 joining the queue or struggling to get 37:21 water? They both said, "La nasqi hatta 37:27 yusdir?" They both said. We cannot, or 37:34 we cannot compete to draw water until 37:39 the male shepherds have all left, 37:44 because we cannot contend with them. 37:51 Then they added, the two women, "Wa 37:53 abuna sikhun kabir." While our father 37:58 is a very old man, very frail. So, we 38:02 cannot. So, we are women. So, we just 38:05 wait until...The shepherds are finished 38:10 . Now, that is where Prophet Musa ( 38:12 peace be upon him), knowing the 38:14 situation, paid attention to the words 38:17 of verse 24. So if we read it in full, 38:20 we understand what happened to Prophet 38:23 Musa. Fasaqahuma. Then he helped water 38:29 the livestock of the two women. Prophet 38:34 Musa. Prophet Musa helped water the 38:37 livestock of the two women. So, if we 38:41 want to escape our life problems and 38:44 want a solution from Allah. Brothers 38:47 and sisters, may Allah have mercy on 38:48 you. The first thing that makes it ' 38:50 sakila', these words carry great weight 38:53 . Before we offer our prayers, we 38:56 should first do good for other people. 39:00 Like that. Now, that is what this verse 39:04 means, yes. Ah, after he 'fasaqahuma', 39:09 after he watered the livestock of the 39:11 two women. He then immediately left 39:20 them, left the people he had helped, 39:22 and looked for 'azzilli', a shaded 39:25 place. Now, what does this second part 39:29 show? That is, if we want our prayer to 39:33 Allah for a solution to our life 39:36 problems to be strong and weighty, then 39:39 after you help others, sincerely 39:42 without asking for anything, brothers 39:46 and sisters, consider it as what? A 39:50 sign to Allah that we are truly in need 39:52 of His help. Like a barter, more or 39:56 less something like that. So, help 40:01 others sincerely like Prophet Musa did. 40:06 Then he left immediately without asking 40:08 for any payment or anything else, not 40:11 even caring, he just went away. Then he 40:14 immediately looked for a shaded place. 40:17 That is where he prayed. So this prayer 40:20 is the final sequence of the previous 40:23 actions he performed, which gives it 40:26 its weight. This prayer, that is what 40:29 it means. Faqala. That is where he 40:33 prayed, "Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilaiya 40:37 min khairin faqir." O Allah, my Lord, 40:42 truly I am currently in poverty, truly 40:46 in need of what? 'Khairin', goodness 40:51 from You. Yes, like that. Goodness from 40:55 You. Meaning a solution from You for my 40:58 life's problems. Yes, like that. So, 41:03 the weight of this prayer actually lies 41:06 in the behavior of Prophet Musa that he 41:09 demonstrated in verse 23 of Surah 41:11 Al-Qasas. Ladies and gentlemen, may 41:14 Allah bless you. So, sometimes when 41:17 people are in a tight spot, squeezed by 41:19 life's problems, what should they pray, 41:22 Ustaz? How do we do it? The prayer is 41:25 easy to recite, you know. The content 41:27 of the prayer is simple. It is easy to 41:29 say, but the weight of it is heavy, 41:31 ladies and gentlemen. Okay. This is the 41:33 second example, a prayer from Prophet 41:35 Musa, peace be upon him. Do good to 41:38 other people sincerely, without asking 41:41 for payment or anything else. Now, make 41:45 that a sequence of prayer as 41:46 exemplified by Prophet Musa. Then the 41:51 third example, when you are sick. Now, 41:56 how do we handle sickness as 41:59 exemplified by the Quran, a prayer that 42:02 is heavy and carries weight? It carries 42:06 a heavy weight. Two prophets whose 42:11 examples we can present are Prophet 42:13 Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and Prophet 42:15 Ayub, peace be upon him. The sentence 42:19 of Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, 42:21 ladies and gentlemen, we often hear his 42:23 words when he says "wa idza maridhtu 42:25 fahuwa yasyfin." We have certainly 42:29 memorized the prayer; it is often 42:31 repeated. "Wa idza maridhtu fahuwa 42:33 yasyfin, wa idza maridhtu fahuwa 42:34 yasyfin," right? "And when I am ill, it 42:37 is He who cures me." But that prayer, 42:41 again, is a sequence that cannot be 42:44 separated from the previous sentences. 42:49 It is not separate from the previous 42:51 sentences. It must not be separated so 42:53 that we can understand its weight. "Wa 42:57 idza maridhtu fahuwa yasyfin" is in 43:00 Surah Ash-Shu'ara, chapter 26, verse 80 43:02 . But it cannot be separated from 43:06 verses 79 down to 77. Now, that is the 43:09 sequence, ladies and gentlemen. So, 43:11 when we are sick, complete it first. If 43:15 we want to be healed, meaning to get a 43:18 solution from Allah like Prophet 43:21 Ibrahim, fulfill first what is lacking 43:24 from the previous verses, verses 79, 78 43:27 , and 77, only then verse 80. "Wa idza 43:32 maridhtu fahuwa yasyfin" like that. 43:36 What must be fulfilled? Starting from 43:39 verse 77. Surah Ash-Shu'ara, chapter 26 43:42 , verse 77. Then finally the sequence 43:45 in the verse mentioned earlier. "Wa 43:48 idza maridhtu fahuwa yasyfin.""And when 43:51 I am ill, it is He who cures me." The 43:54 first one in verse 77: "fa innahum ' 43:55 aduwwun li illa rabbal' alamin.""Except 43:58 the Lord of the worlds." Prophet 44:01 Ibrahim proclaimed it. Meaning he truly 44:04 understood that his creed was clean. He 44:08 said that all others were enemies to 44:11 him except the Lord of the worlds. 44:14 Meaning his creed was clean from 44:16 everything else. It means not 44:19 worshipping anything else. So sometimes 44:23 when we are sick, our creed is 44:24 precisely what we must purify, ladies 44:28 and gentlemen. Our creed must be 44:30 purified. That is the first step, the 44:33 initial step. Have positive thoughts ( 44:37 husnuzan) toward Allah first, do not 44:38 have negative thoughts. And also, don't 44:42 , sometimes people say, "What sickness 44:43 do you have?""Oh, this sickness, for 44:46 example.""Try going to that doctor, you 44:48 will surely be cured.""I always get 44:50 cured when I go there." Wow, be careful 44:51 here. Be careful here. The sentence 44:55 looks and sounds simple, but it carries 44:57 something very heavy. Now, if you add 45:01 the word "insha'Allah," ah, it is 45:03 settled. Just try it if you are sick, 45:06 just go to the doctor. Insha'Allah, 45:07 insha'Allah you will be healed. Ah, 45:09 that is comforting, isn't it, ladies 45:10 and gentlemen? Yes, isn't it? So, fa 45:13 innahum 'adduw-li illaa Rabbul' 45:14 Aalamiin. Prophet Ibrahim kept his 45:17 faith pure, only to the Lord of the 45:20 Worlds. Then it was elaborated by him 45:25 in verse 78, "Alladzi khalaqani fahua 45:28 yahdin." It is He who created me and it 45:31 is He who guides me. Said Prophet 45:34 Ibrahim. The straight path, He guides 45:37 me, you see. So this must be cleansed 45:41 first, ladies and gentlemen, then verse 45:44 79, "Walladzi huwa yut'imuni wa yasqin. 45:46 " It is He who feeds me and gives me 45:52 drink. There is no one else. Sometimes, 45:56 well, illness is indeed true that it 45:59 will wipe away sins if we can be 46:02 patient in facing it and remain 46:04 grateful. But the path to healing, as 46:07 exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, 46:10 actually starts by cleansing our faith, 46:12 ladies and gentlemen. By examining 46:15 ourselves, by engaging in introspection 46:19 within ourselves. Cleansing, cleansing 46:22 our faith. Thinking positively of Allah 46:24 (husnuzan). Ladies and gentlemen, " 46:27 alladzi huwa yut'imuni wa yasqin," it 46:30 is He who feeds me and gives me drink, 46:33 not anyone else. My job, perhaps my 46:38 boss, my salary, or the results of my 46:41 projects and so on, are just gifts from 46:44 Allah to me. Perhaps all this time I 46:48 have forgotten, I was mistaken, feeling 46:51 that I get my sustenance from my boss, 46:54 my salary, the income I earn, my 46:57 projects, and so on. Now, this is what 47:00 must be cleansed; the weight lies there 47:02 . Only then in verse 80, "Wa idza 47:06 maridtu fahua yasyfin." And when I am 47:11 sick, it is He who will heal me, ladies 47:13 and gentlemen. So, the weight of that 47:18 conviction starts from verse 77. So, it 47:23 is not just "wa idza maridtu," but 47:29 inside our heads, inside our hearts, 47:31 there is still a lot of filth in our 47:33 faith that we have been harboring all 47:35 this time. Yes, it will be difficult 47:38 for us to attain healing. Even though 47:40 the path to healing has been explained 47:43 and exemplified by Allah in the Quran. 47:46 Likewise with Prophet Ayub. Ladies and 47:48 gentlemen, may you be blessed by Allah. 47:50 Surah Al-Anbiya, surah 21, verse 83. 47:54 Earlier, what prophet was it? Yunus, 47:58 verse 87, right. If this is verse 83, 48:01 above it the sentence is "Wa Ayyuba." 48:06 And remember Ayub, "id naada," when he 48:08 prayed to Allah in a state of illness. 48:11 In a state of illness. Pay attention to 48:13 how he prayed. "Id naadaahu," when he 48:16 was in a state of illness and prayed to 48:17 his Lord. What, what were his words? " 48:20 Anni massaniyad-durr." I am being 48:25 struck by harm, by difficulty, you see. 48:32 The difficulty referred to by the 48:33 exegetes is that because of the illness 48:35 he suffered, he could no longer worship 48:37 Allah. That was when he prayed, stating 48:40 that this was a harm. The harm referred 48:44 to was not the illness itself, but that 48:45 the illness had prevented him from 48:47 worshiping. Now, this refers to the 48:50 phrase "massaniyad dur" meaning " 48:52 afflicted with harm." Notice there is a 48:54 "waw ataf" conjunction there. "Wa anta 48:57 arhamur rahimin." And I am always aware 49:01 , I always know, and understand that 49:03 You are the one who loves me most. 49:07 There is no one else. This sentence, 49:11 ladies and gentlemen whom Allah blesses 49:13 , is not a sarcastic remark, you see. 49:16 No, not that, but a calming sentence, 49:18 one of husnuzon (good opinion) that You 49:21 love me, that You are the one who loves 49:24 me most. Like that. So, in a state of 49:27 illness, purify your creed, have 49:29 husnuzon toward Allah. It is possible 49:31 that all this time our husnuzon has 49:32 been lacking. It is possible that all 49:34 this time our creed has not been pure 49:35 enough. Instead, purify your creed. 49:37 Instead, have husnuzon toward Allah so 49:39 that the door to healing can be opened 49:41 by Allah. That is where the weight of 49:43 it lies. "Wa anta arhamur rahimin." And 49:48 truly, You are the one who loves me 49:49 most compared to anyone who loves me. 49:52 Now, like that. So, feel how much Allah 49:56 loves us when reading this prayer for 50:00 healing from illness, ladies and 50:02 gentlemen. So husnuzon, then we can 50:05 feel what Allah has given us so far 50:07 that we might have forgotten, forgotten 50:12 to realize, forgotten to be aware of, 50:15 and so on. So, "wa anta arhamur rahimin 50:18 ." Yes, what is it? Truly, You are the 50:21 Most Merciful to me. Among all those 50:24 who might love me and so on, that is 50:27 actually the door to entering healing. 50:32 This is the key. Wow, this is 50:34 extraordinary. If we return it to 50:37 medical science, to physiological 50:39 science of the human body. When a human 50:44 connects to Allah, their serotonin 50:46 hormone flows in their body. Serotonin 50:51 is the happiness hormone because of the 50:54 bonding to a power greater than oneself 50:58 . This is what then contains one of the 51:02 most essential parts of serotonin, 51:04 tryptophan. Ladies and gentlemen, whom 51:09 Allah blesses, it can even flow beyond 51:11 the blood vessel walls. So, if a person 51:16 is in a state of happiness with Allah, 51:19 calm, and having husnuzon toward Allah, 51:22 then healing happens by itself in their 51:25 body through that serotonin hormone. 51:29 Now, likewise with the other hormones. 51:32 After serotonin is present, stress 51:34 hormones like cortisol can be reduced. 51:37 So then, they will sleep in a quality 51:39 state. Their melatonin hormone can be 51:43 optimized by their body. Melatonin is 51:48 when someone sleeps in a deep sleep, 51:50 soundly. The condition for deep sleep 51:54 is if the cortisol hormone can be 51:56 inhibited or suppressed. The stress 52:00 hormone cortisol can be suppressed. Now 52:02 , the way to suppress that stress 52:04 hormone cortisol is by increasing the 52:06 serotonin hormone. Meaning having 52:08 husnuzon toward Allah. If you have 52:10 husnuzon toward Allah, your rest is 52:12 good and strong, then melatonin flows 52:15 well. Melatonin is used by the body as 52:17 an antioxidant. In fact, there is now, 52:21 uh, what is it? Cancer therapy in the 52:24 form of melatonin therapy, no longer 52:27 radiotherapy, no longer chemotherapy, 52:29 no. But there is another one now, the 52:32 common one, uh, melatonin therapy, uh, 52:35 what, uh, melatonin therapy. Correct. 52:37 Melatonin therapy. Why? Because 52:39 melatonin is a natural and very 52:41 powerful antioxidant, ladies and 52:43 gentlemen. That only exists if the 52:47 cortisol hormone can be, can be, can be 52:50 , uh, can be blocked, and blocking that 52:52 cortisol with serotonin. That serotonin 52:56 , if someone is happy, bonding, 52:59 connected to a great power, in this 53:01 case, of course, Allah Subhanahu wa 53:04 ta'ala. So the sequence is 53:06 extraordinary. The sequence is 53:08 extraordinary. That is the weight of it 53:10 , ladies and gentlemen, right there. So 53:13 , if we only read the prayer but it has 53:16 no weight, it is not connected to Allah 53:18 , there is still worry, there is still 53:20 suspicion, there is still anxiety, yes, 53:22 the cortisol hormone keeps flowing, 53:24 then glucocorticoids are created, yes, 53:27 in the body, the glucose increases, 53:29 then the immune system is suppressed 53:31 because of the high amount of cortisol 53:33 hormone, so naturally, it is difficult 53:35 to heal even though the prayer is being 53:38 read. Now, why? Because it is not 53:42 followed, not accompanied by the weight 53:45 contained within it. That is how it is, 53:47 ladies and gentlemen. Alright, I will 53:51 continue. This was example number, uh. 53:54 Now example number four. Bismillah. Oh, 54:00 alright. Uh. Maybe because it is 54:08 already, uh, I will just jump to number 54:11 5, okay, because our time is already 54:13 9:00. I will jump directly to number 5. 54:18 That is when we hope for a pious child. 54:23 Now, this prayer's weight we often hear 54:25 , right? The prayer we often hear is in 54:28 Surah Al-Furqan, Surah 25, verse 74, 54:31 the prayer we often hear. In fact, I am 54:34 sure we might have memorized it. 54:35 Rabbana hablana min azwajina 54:37 wadhurriyatina qurrata a'yun waj'alna 54:40 lil muttaqina imama. We might often 54:43 memorize the prayer, we recite it 54:46 repeatedly, but many also complain 54:49 about why, why is it still difficult 54:52 for their children, hoping for a pious 54:55 child. Now, tonight let us reflect on 54:57 its weight, ladies and gentlemen. The 54:59 sentence is like this. Walladzina 55:00 yaquluna Rabbana hablana min azwajina 55:03 wadhurriyatina qurrata a'yun. O Allah, 55:06 grant me my life partner and my 55:09 descendants who are a comfort to my 55:14 eyes. Qurrata a'yun. Qur means cool and 55:17 a'yun means my eyes. Now, but there is 55:21 a continuation. Waj'alna lil muttaqina 55:25 imama. O Allah, make me able to be a 55:29 leader for them. Like that. And then 55:32 there is the phrase lil muttaqin. 55:35 Meaning there are two, ladies and 55:36 gentlemen, in the weight of this verse. 55:38 The first, in the weight of this prayer 55:40 . First, for all of us parents, if we 55:45 want our children to be the coolness of 55:48 our eyes, to be righteous sons and 55:50 daughters, then you, all of us, must be 55:54 able to be an imam. An imam is someone 55:59 who stands in front of the followers. 56:02 Not just talking, but setting an 56:05 example, showing an example. That is an 56:09 imam. An imam in prayer, for instance, 56:12 when he bows, Allahu Akbar, the 56:14 followers bow. He stands up, Allahu 56:17 Akbar, the followers stand up. This is 56:19 setting an example. So if we as parents 56:23 cannot set an example, only speak, only 56:26 get angry and nag, only make rules for 56:29 the children to follow while we 56:31 ourselves...Do not, then we have not 56:34 met the requirements for this prayer, 56:37 that is what it means. Right? So where 56:42 is the leadership then? Only able to 56:46 yell, "You are like this, you are like 56:47 that.""Mom already told you, right?"" 56:49 Mom has told you many times, right, mom 56:50 is like this." That is not what is 56:53 meant. Be an imam. Let us introspect 56:57 because our position is that of a 57:00 parent. "But my parents weren't like 57:03 that to me.""I was like this back then. 57:04 " Now you, we are in the position of 57:06 being parents. Be an imam; this is the 57:08 guidance of the Quran. "But what if it 57:11 doesn't work, Ustaz?" Just do it first. 57:14 Just do it first. Later, Allah is most, 57:17 uh, most generous. The important thing 57:20 is that we follow the teachings of the 57:21 Al-Quran. Show, uh, show how the 57:25 parents are also earnest. Show that we 57:30 are earnest. Uh, if you tell your child 57:33 to pray, show that the parents maintain 57:35 their prayers. If you tell your child 57:38 to what? Uh, be a righteous person. 57:41 Show that the father also wants to be a 57:44 righteous person. Learning. Now, that's 57:47 it, ladies and gentlemen. Walna lil 57:49 muttaqina imama. The second point, the 57:53 word muttaqin shows the expectations we 57:56 must build. That, just like 'ulan 58:01 layina' that we discussed a few 58:02 meetings ago, expectations. So if we 58:06 see our child now difficult to tell to 58:11 do this, difficult to tell to pray, and 58:13 so on. If we cannot imagine them in the 58:18 future, our expectation of them 58:20 becoming a good child, a righteous 58:22 child, then it is difficult for them to 58:25 change. Especially if we then say, "Do 58:27 you want to be a beggar if you keep 58:29 acting like this?""If you keep going 58:31 like this, you'll become a thief.""You 58:33 will be..." Ah, that is where parents 58:35 go wrong, ladies and gentlemen. Try to 58:39 imagine them in the future becoming 58:41 something extraordinary. Now, say that 58:45 now. Feel that, at the very least. Put 58:48 in our imagination that this child will 58:50 become something great in the future. 58:53 Then we speak to them with that. Now, 58:58 if you recall the story of Imam Sudais. 59:02 Imam Sudais once told a story about his 59:04 childhood, that he used to run around 59:06 and was difficult to be told to do what 59:09 ? He was taught by his mother, you know 59:10 . Whenever he was told to study, he 59:12 wouldn't want to and would play instead 59:13 . His mother was angry at Imam Sudais, 59:15 but the way she expressed her anger was 59:18 extraordinary. His mother said this to 59:22 Imam Sudais, "You are naughty," roughly 59:24 translated to Indonesian, of course, 59:26 she spoke in Arabic. "This is just an 59:29 example.""Why is it so hard to tell you 59:31 to study?""I pray that you become the 59:34 Imam of Masjidil Haram.""I pray that 59:36 you become the Imam of Masjidil Haram." 59:39 "Something like that." So, it appears 59:42 that was what Imam Sudais believed was 59:43 truly granted by Allah Subhanahu wa 59:45 ta'ala. He became the Imam of Masjidil 59:49 Haram, and his voice is, as we know, 59:51 very...what? Very unique. So when we 59:54 hear it, we immediately know, "Oh, that 59:56 is Imam Sudais." So, ladies and 59:58 gentlemen, may Allah bless you, the 1:00:01 weight of the words*rabbana hablana min 1:00:03 azwajina qurratu a'yun*actually lies at 1:00:06 the end. *Wajalna lil muttaqina imama. 1:00:09 *Yes, the*waw*is also a*waw 'atf*( 1:00:11 conjunction) which indicates a 1:00:13 connection. *Imama*, and make me, O 1:00:17 Allah, an*imam*(leader). Yes, it does 1:00:20 not mean we will be given what later as 1:00:22 an imam? It does not mean being given a 1:00:24 crown and then becoming a leader, no. 1:00:27 But that we are able to be an example, 1:00:30 to be an inspiration, to be at the 1:00:33 forefront showing that we are also... 1:00:35 heading towards the goodness that we 1:00:38 commanded our child to do earlier, that 1:00:41 we told our children to do, ladies and 1:00:44 gentlemen. Alright, I think that is all 1:00:49 I can convey regarding*qawlan saqila*. 1:00:52 Meaning, weighty words, namely the 1:00:55 prayers we offer before Allah Subhanahu 1:00:58 wa ta'ala. Ladies and gentlemen, may 1:01:01 Allah bless you, it is not just words 1:01:03 that come out of our lips without 1:01:05 substance, but that very weight is what 1:01:08 will make the difference. *Wallahu 1:01:11 a'lam bish-shawab. *Hopefully, it 1:01:13 provides benefits. I return it to Kang 1:01:16 Fahri. *Billahi taufiq wal hidayah. ** 1:01:18 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 1:01:20 wabarakatuh. *Thus, brothers and 1:01:24 sisters. We have together listened to 1:01:26 the*tadabbur*(reflection) of the Qur'an 1:01:28 with Ustaz Doni Amir Sagap discussing 1:01:31 the theme regarding*qawlan saqila*or 1:01:33 weighty words. Yes, after we listened 1:01:35 together in such detail to what Ustaz 1:01:37 Doni conveyed this evening, for those 1:01:39 who want to join and ask questions, we 1:01:41 will read them after the*nasheed* 1:01:42 segment, and we will return after the* 1:01:44 nasheed*with us. * 1:01:48 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. *One Islam, 1:01:59 still with us, brothers and sisters, on 1:02:01 the*tadabbur*Qur'an program with Ustaz 1:02:04 Doni Amir Sagap, reading the theme 1:02:05 regarding*qawlan saqila*, a series on 1:02:07 Allah's guidance in speaking. There are 1:02:11 so many who have sent WhatsApp messages 1:02:13 . There is Ibu Hajah Syaidah who is 1:02:15 listening with her family. Thank you, 1:02:17 Ustaz, for the advice and the lecture. 1:02:19 There is also Omaret, yes, Omaret. 1:02:21 There is also Ibu Suryanti, Bapak Johar 1:02:24 in Kalideres, Ibu Siti Anisa, and Bapak 1:02:27 Hanafi in East Jakarta. There is also 1:02:30 Bapak Arwin, Ibu Hati, Ibu Umi Amaliah, 1:02:32 Bapak Slamet Abi Alfaqih, and Ibu 1:02:35 Kartini in Depok who are also listening 1:02:37 . There is Ummu Ismah, there are also 1:02:40 Mr. Edwin Saleh, Mrs. Tati, Mrs. Mame 1:02:42 in Bekasi, Mr. Yuman in Gunung Putri, 1:02:45 Bogor, Arif Utomo, and many more who 1:02:47 are asking questions, Ustaz. I will 1:02:50 read the first one from Mrs. Sari. 1:02:53 Peace be upon you, Ustaz Doni. 1:02:55 And peace be upon you too. Please, 1:02:58 Ma'am. 1:02:58 Ustaz. Ustaz, you said earlier that 1:03:01 doing charity but hurting the person we 1:03:04 help makes the deed void or useless. 1:03:08 What about deeds or alms that are 1:03:10 turned into content, which is rampant 1:03:12 on social media right now? Is that 1:03:14 another form of showing off or hurting 1:03:16 because it embarrasses the person we 1:03:19 are helping? What is the enlightenment 1:03:21 on this matter? That is all. 1:03:24 All right, thank you to Mrs. Sari who 1:03:25 asked the question earlier. First of 1:03:28 all, in matters like this, it always 1:03:31 returns to the intention. So, if we go 1:03:35 back to the Arbain Nawawi hadith, Imam 1:03:39 Nawawi compiled the very first hadith 1:03:43 regarding intention. Yes. Right. So 1:04:03 every deed depends on its intention, 1:04:06 and every affair has its goal. So 1:04:11 whoever acts for the sake of Allah and 1:04:12 His Messenger, they will get a reward 1:04:14 from Allah and His Messenger. But if it 1:04:17 is the world they seek, then the reward 1:04:19 only reaches the world. Meaning, what 1:04:22 they get is just that much. So, it 1:04:24 returns to the intention. How if the 1:04:27 person being given the charity feels 1:04:29 humiliated? Well, this is certainly 1:04:33 something that is already wrong. 1:04:36 Because if it is displayed in public, 1:04:39 that person might feel humiliated being 1:04:43 someone who is watched by others and so 1:04:46 on. So, of course, one must be careful 1:04:51 regarding this matter. So what is the 1:04:55 intention? If the intention is only to 1:04:58 seek content, then they get nothing in 1:05:00 the sight of Allah. But if it is 1:05:04 sincere, truly for the sake of Allah, 1:05:07 especially if it is hidden. Now, if it 1:05:10 is hidden, it is better. If it is 1:05:13 hidden, the reward is better. So if, 1:05:16 for example, you want to give charity, 1:05:22 Yes. 1:05:23 In a condition or situation where it is 1:05:26 shown, it is permissible, but if hidden 1:05:29 , it is better. Where is the evidence? 1:05:32 Let's open Surah Al-Baqarah verse 271. 1:05:36 The sentence is like this: If you 1:05:38 disclose your charities......it is well 1:05:44 . If you show your charity, it is 1:05:57 permissible. Right. It depends on the 1:05:59 intention mentioned earlier. It's 1:06:00 allowed, no problem. But continue the 1:06:02 sentence. But if you conceal them and 1:06:05 give them to the poor, that is better 1:06:07 for you. But if you hide them and give 1:06:12 them to the poor, the poor not just the 1:06:16 needy, but the poor. There is a 1:06:18 difference between the needy and the 1:06:19 poor. So if you hide them, then it is 1:06:25 better for you. There is a bonus there. 1:06:29 What is the bonus? Allah will cover my 1:06:35 mistakes. Having mistakes covered and 1:06:41 erased, that is the bonus if the 1:06:43 charity is hidden. And Allah is 1:06:47 All-Aware of what you do. Allah is 1:06:50 all-knowing, and He will indeed inform 1:06:52 you of what you have done. Yes, so 1:06:56 there is a bonus if you do it secretly, 1:07:00 hidden, or not displayed, you know. Of 1:07:06 course, it means we need Allah's help, 1:07:08 we need our sins to be wiped away by 1:07:10 Allah, right? So which is better based 1:07:14 on 271 earlier? What is better is if it 1:07:17 is hidden, that is how we do it. 1:07:19 Wallahu a'lam, insha Allah. Alright, 1:07:21 moving on to a question from Mrs. Yani. 1:07:23 Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:07:24 and blessings, Ustaz Doni. 1:07:25 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:07:27 mercy and blessings. 1:07:27 Should we pray using profound language, 1:07:30 Ustaz? What about just using ordinary 1:07:33 language? Will it be granted by Allah 1:07:35 if we pray using ordinary language? 1:07:38 That is all. 1:07:39 Oh, thank you Mrs. Yi. Eh, Mrs. Yani. 1:07:42 Mrs. Yani. 1:07:42 Mrs. Yani. Yani. Mrs. Yani. Yes. 1:07:45 Yes. So, Ma'am, what is meant by " 1:07:48 weight" here is not complex words or 1:07:50 sophisticated language, it's not that. 1:07:55 But, the weight refers to the substance 1:07:57 , that sacrifice, as we have explained; 1:07:59 there is the sacrifice, the 1:08:01 purification of faith, and husnuzon ( 1:08:03 good opinion) towards Allah. That is 1:08:06 what is meant by the weight. So, even 1:08:08 if the words are just ordinary, Allah 1:08:10 understands, even the thoughts crossing 1:08:13 our minds, Allah knows. But, what is 1:08:17 actually meant by weight is our 1:08:19 behavior, like Prophet Musa helping the 1:08:22 two women in the land of Madyan, who 1:08:24 were the daughters of Prophet Shu'aib. 1:08:28 And then, it turned out the solution to 1:08:30 his life's problem was being asked by 1:08:32 Prophet Shu'aib to marry his daughter. 1:08:35 Prophet Shu'aib's daughter became his 1:08:37 helper. From there, he then found the 1:08:39 solution to his life and so on. So the 1:08:42 weight meant is the weight of our 1:08:45 sacrifice. H 1:08:47 the weight of purifying our faith like 1:08:49 Prophet Ibrahim, like Prophet Ayub 1:08:51 earlier, having husnuzon towards Allah 1:08:53 while ill. Likewise, other weights that 1:08:56 are in the form of our attitudes. So, 1:09:00 our sacrifice. Prophet Yunus earlier, 1:09:03 when he was in the belly of the fish 1:09:05 and wanted to get out, the solution was 1:09:08 self-introspection, or what? 1:09:11 self-reflection on what he did, the 1:09:14 emotions and so on that had been 1:09:16 binding him, and he said, "Inni kuntu 1:09:18 minaz-zalimin." So, even if the words 1:09:22 are simple, it is okay, but the weight 1:09:24 is our behavior and our deeds. Yes, 1:09:28 that is it. 1:09:29 Mr. Yudi in Bogor. Peace be upon you, 1:09:31 and Allah's mercy and blessings. Ustaz. 1:09:33 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:09:34 mercy and blessings. Ustaz, how do we 1:09:36 handle or face people who often talk 1:09:38 about unnecessary or unimportant things 1:09:41 ? Unnecessary, unimportant things like 1:09:42 that. Thanks. 1:09:43 Oh, right. So, thank you, Mr. Yudi in 1:09:47 Bogor, for asking. So, Mr. Yudi and 1:09:49 brothers and sisters who are blessed by 1:09:50 Allah. Later, if you open Surah 1:09:53 Al-Furqan, chapter 25, starting from 1:09:55 verse 63, the sentence is A'udhu 1:09:57 billahi minash-shaitanir-rajim. Wa' 1:10:00 ibadur-Rahman. As for the servants of 1:10:05 Ar-Rahman, or Allah, 'alladina yamsuna' 1:10:08 alal-ardi hauna 'are those who walk 1:10:11 upon this earth with ease,' haunan ' 1:10:14 means relaxed. Now, one of the signs of 1:10:19 that relaxed state is when' wa idha 1:10:21 khatabahumul-jahiluna qalu salama '. 1:10:24 When they speak with ignorant people. 1:10:28 Well,' jahil 'means ignorant, you see. 1:10:30 Perhaps saying things that are 1:10:32 unnecessary, right? So, these' ibadur 1:10:37 rahman 'will' qulu salama ', speaking 1:10:39 or replying to their words with words 1:10:42 full of peace, full of serenity. So to 1:10:47 your question earlier, how should we 1:10:48 respond to people like that? Yes, reply 1:10:52 to their words with words that are just 1:10:54 relaxed, full of peace, and full of 1:10:56 serenity. Yes,' wa idha 1:10:58 khatabahumul-jahilun '. Yes, when they 1:11:01 speak with someone ignorant, the 1:11:03 ignorant part means, well, their words 1:11:06 might not be useful and so on. Now, we 1:11:10 convey words of peace, words full of 1:11:12 safety or goodness. Something like that 1:11:16 . 1:11:16 Alright, next we move to this last one, 1:11:20 Ustaz. 1:11:21 Yes. Because of time, this is from Mr. 1:11:24 Wahyu. Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi 1:11:26 wabarakatuh, Ustaz Doni. 1:11:27 Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 1:11:28 wabarakatuh. 1:11:29 Ustaz, is it true that the potential 1:11:30 for' riya '(showing off) always exists 1:11:32 in every human being? Does unspoken' 1:11:34 riya 'also count as a sin? Is it' riya 1:11:37 'in the heart, or just a fleeting 1:11:40 thought that is overcome by subsequent 1:11:42 sincerity? That is all, Pak Ustaz. 1:11:44 Requesting enlightenment and advice. 1:11:46 Yes. Thank you, Mr. Wahyu. 1:11:50 To Mr. Wahyu who asked and to all 1:11:52 brothers and sisters blessed by Allah. 1:11:55 So indeed, in this life, we have an 1:11:58 enemy. Our enemy is Iblis, may Allah's 1:12:02 curse be upon him. And he has sworn 1:12:05 before Allah, as he said in Surah 1:12:08 Al-A'raf, verse 16 and 17. 1:12:12 He will lead us astray from the 1:12:14 straight path. He said. Mustaqim (the 1:12:21 straight path). "O Allah, because You 1:12:23 have ordained me thus, I will lead the 1:12:24 children of Adam astray from Your 1:12:26 straight path." He will approach us 1:12:28 from the front, behind, right, and left 1:12:30 . And then we are made to find it 1:12:32 difficult to be grateful. One of them 1:12:34 is through' riya 'earlier, hoping for 1:12:36 praise from others. Hoping, meaning 1:12:38 hoping for things other than Allah. Now 1:12:42 , what about fleeting thoughts? So it 1:12:45 is not spoken, but there is a passing 1:12:47 thought wanting to hope for that. Of 1:12:50 course, we must immediately cleanse it. 1:12:54 That is why scholars divide sincerity 1:12:57 into three stages. The first is the 1:13:01 intention stage before the deed is 1:13:03 performed, Sir. So, beforehand we make 1:13:07 it sincere only to Allah as a form of 1:13:09 our gratitude to Allah, right? That is 1:13:12 the first stage of our deeds. Then it 1:13:15 does not end there. There is a second 1:13:17 stage, when is it? While we are 1:13:20 performing the deed, as we are doing it 1:13:22 . We cleanse it, we cleanse it from 1:13:25 that potential for' riya '. If there is 1:13:28 , what? A passing thought to show off, 1:13:31 to be seen by people, then we must 1:13:32 immediately seek forgiveness (istigfar) 1:13:34 . Cleanse, cleanse, cleanse. Then there 1:13:36 is the third stage, yes. When is the 1:13:39 third stage? It is when we have 1:13:41 performed the deed, later it will be 1:13:43 poked at by the devil. Poked at so it 1:13:46 comes out, to be told to others, to be 1:13:48 boasted about, and so on. So there, too 1:13:51 , we must be, uh, what? 1:13:53 Vigilant, yes. 1:13:55 Pray to Allah, ask for Allah's 1:13:57 protection to safeguard the deeds we 1:13:58 have performed. Uh, so we must guard 1:14:02 those three stages. Before the deed is 1:14:06 done, while the deed is being done, and 1:14:09 finally after the deed is done. We seek 1:14:14 protection from Allah. A'udhu 1:14:16 bikalimatillahi tammati min sharri ma 1:14:18 khalaq. You can use that prayer. O 1:14:20 Allah, I seek refuge in You with Your 1:14:23 perfect words from the evil of Your 1:14:26 creation. Meaning the evil of creation 1:14:28 is, uh, the devil mentioned earlier, 1:14:30 yes. Khalaq, uh, Allahumma inni a'udhu 1:14:36 bika, uh, what, min...That is also one 1:14:41 way. 1:14:43 So, before the deed is done, while it 1:14:46 is done, and afterward. 1:14:49 Well, that is roughly it. Wallahu a'lam 1:14:50 (Allah knows best). 1:14:51 Alright, Ustaz, we are limited by time, 1:14:53 perhaps before we wrap up, you could 1:14:54 summarize today's discussion, Ustaz. 1:14:56 Yes, thank you, gentlemen, ladies, 1:14:58 brothers and sisters, to all listeners 1:15:00 of Radio Silaturahim wherever you are, 1:15:02 and viewers of Rasil TV. "Qaulan saqila 1:15:05 ," weighty words, are those from the 1:15:07 Qur'an. What we need to realize and 1:15:11 learn is that the words themselves 1:15:14 might be light to memorize and to speak 1:15:18 , but their weight actually lies in our 1:15:21 actions, our attitude, our character. 1:15:26 How we should position ourselves before 1:15:28 Allah, the place where we pray, the 1:15:30 place where we convey those words. This 1:15:34 is what is meant by "saqila." The words 1:15:38 are only tools, but what is conveyed is 1:15:41 our attitude, our character, our 1:15:44 sacrifice to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. 1:15:47 Our self-introspection, our evaluation, 1:15:50 that is what is heavy. That is what is 1:15:52 "saqilah." Wallahu a'lam. Hopefully, it 1:15:55 provides benefits. We apologize for any 1:15:57 mistakes and shortcomings. Billahi 1:15:59 taufiq wal hidayah. Was-salamu' alaikum 1:16:01 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 1:16:04 Wa 'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 1:16:05 wabarakatuh. That was the "Ahwal 1:16:07 Tadabbur al-Qur'an" with Ustaz Doni 1:16:09 Amir Sagap that we have listened to 1:16:11 together, with the major theme 1:16:13 regarding Allah's guidance in speaking, 1:16:15 with the sub-theme "qaulan saqila." May 1:16:17 what has been conveyed be beneficial 1:16:19 for us all. I, the person on duty, 1:16:20 Pahir, accompanied by Neza and also 1:16:22 Yusuf Subang, bid you farewell. 1:16:23 Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika, ashadu 1:16:25 alla ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa 1:16:27 atubu ilaik. Was-salamu' alaikum 1:16:29 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
