- namely the 41st and 42nd verses of the
- Quran surah Ar-Rum.
- Yes, it is true.
- This is about disasters and their
- causes. And let's just see what the
- study looks like. We welcome it.
- Asalamualaikum warahmatullah
- wabarakatuh. Innalhamdalillah nahmaduhu

- muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh.

- yakun. La haula wala quwwata illa
- billahil aliyil adzim. Amma ba'd.
- Brothers and sisters TV viewers and
- radio listeners who are very loved by
- Allah subhanahu wa taala. Alhamdulillah
- . This afternoon we can meet again in
- the study of tafsir maudui which this
- afternoon we will try to reflect on the
- words of Allah Subhanahu wa taala
- contained in the 30th surah Ar-Rum
- verses 41 and 42. which reads
- auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim.
- Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Zaharal
- fasedu fil barri wal bahri bimaa
- kasabat aidinas liyudziqahum
- ba'dalladzi amilu la'allahum yarjiun.
- Qul sirru fil ardi fanzuru kaifaana
- aqibatulladina minqbl kana aktarsaruhum
- mushrikin, which means: "Corruption has
- appeared on land and sea because of
- what the hands of men have earned, so
- that Allah may make them taste a part
- of what they have done, in order that
- they may return to the right path."
- That is the 41st verse meaning. Next is
- the 42nd verse. Say, travel on the
- earth and see how was the end of those
- who were before. Kana aktarsaruhum
- mushrikin. Most of them are people who
- associate partners with Allah. We give
- these two verses maudu with maudu or
- the title of the disaster and its cause
- . In recent years, since December 2004,
- when the tsunami hit Aceh, disasters
- have continued to hit the earth.
- Developed countries such as Japan and
- America are no exception. Europe,
- Taiwan, and other countries. Iran
- recently, earthquakes, storms, floods
- like those experienced by our country
- today. Also, the virus epidemic. All
- these disasters are viewed by some as
- mere events without any connection and
- without any connection to human
- defiance against Allah Subhanahu wa
- Ta'ala. Indeed, brothers and sisters,
- if we contemplate the Quran, we will
- find two perspectives on these
- disasters. First, the perspective of
- the infidels. Once again, the first is
- the perspective of the infidels who are
- unwilling and unable to connect these
- disasters with the power of Allah
- Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. This is what Allah
- Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has mentioned in
- Surah Ghafir, Surah 40, verse 21, which
- is almost identical to verse 42 of the
- verse we are contemplating. In Surah
- Ghafir, verse 21, Allah says, "
- Auzubillahiminas shaitanirrajim."
- Awalam yasiru fil ard fzuru kaifaana
- aqibatadina minqhimum asadhum quat
- waardakahumullahu bidunubihim wamaana
- lahum minallahi miwa which means it.
- And did they not travel across the
- earth and see the end of those who came
- before them? They are people with
- greater strength. And they have more
- heritage, higher civilization on earth.
- So Allah punished them because of their
- sins. And they have nothing that can
- defend or protect them at all from the
- punishment of Allah Subhanahu wa taala.
- So disbelievers consider this disaster
- normal. So Allah reminded them that
- they should walk on the face of the
- earth. What was the result of the
- disbelievers before them? Because they
- disobey God's commands.
- Faakodahumullahu bidzunubihimi. So
- Allah punished them because of their
- sins. Even though they are stronger. It
- is true that ancient people were
- stronger than today's people. They were
- bigger in stature and had more heritage
- or civilization as we see today. Until
- now, what are the relics in Jordan,
- what are the relics in Egypt, what are
- the relics in India, in Indonesia
- itself and so on. But because they
- violated the rules of Allah Subhanahu
- wa Taala, Allah's provisions, then they
- were punished. So the perspective of
- infidels is that they are unwilling and
- unable to link this disaster with the
- power of Allah Subhanahu wa Taala. The
- second way is the perspective of
- believers who relate disasters as
- Allah's warning to correct themselves
- by trusting in order to be closer to
- Allah Subhanahu wa Taala so that
- disasters do not happen again. So, in
- the verse that we are interpreting,
- that we are contemplating, Allah
- explains how damage on land and damage
- in the sea is caused by human hands or
- actions. What is meant by destruction
- on earth? Imam Mujahid when
- interpreting the sentence zaharal
- facadeu fil bari wal bahar as quoted by
- Ibnu Katsir said, "Fasadul barri qot
- lubni Adam wa facadeul bahri akd
- safinah gusban." What is meant by
- corruption on land is the numerous
- murders occurring among the children of
- Adam. Meanwhile, corruption at sea is
- the numerous ships being robbed. Well,
- this is what we are probably
- experiencing right now. Why is all this
- happening? Allah states bima kasabat
- aidinas. It is caused by human hands.
- Abul Aliyah, when interpreting this
- sentence, said, "Man asallaha fil ardhi
- faqad afsada fil ard lianna shahal
- ardhi wasamaai thaoah, which means
- whoever disobeys or opposes Allah on
- the face of this earth, then he has
- made mischief on the face of the earth.
- And whoever acts obediently, means he
- has done good in the earth and in the
- heavens. Because doing good on the
- earth and in the heavens is obedience.
- So whoever makes mischief on the face,
- who Disobedience to Allah means that he
- causes damage on the face of the earth.
- Because good on this earth and in the
- heavens is by obeying Allah Subhanahu
- wa Taala. The preservation of the earth
- and the heavens is by obeying. Wasallam
- said," La haddun yuqomu fil ard ahabbu
- ila ahliha min ayyumtoru arbaina
- shobahan which means. Indeed, the
- enforcement of one H law on earth is
- more preferred by its inhabitants than
- receiving 40 days of rain. It is said
- that because the punishment is enforced
- , all or most people will refrain from
- committing sins or actions forbidden by
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. If sinful
- acts are abandoned, then the cause of
- blessings from the sky and the
- emergence of blessings from the earth
- is more open. Well, so this is the
- perspective of a believer. So linking
- this disaster with sin, with opposition
- to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. What are
- the things that cause disasters in the
- Qur'an and in the hadith of the Prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam mentioned
- among the things that cause disasters
- to bring about the first disaster is
- denying the verses of Allah Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala. As the word of Allah that we
- often hear every Friday delivered by
- the Habib.
- Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim. Although
- Anna Ahlal Qura Amanu Wattaqau
- Lafatahna Alaihim Barokatim Minama Wal
- Ard. Wakin kadzabu faaknahum bimau
- yaksibun. which means that if the
- people of those countries believed and
- were pious, we would surely bestow upon
- them blessings in the heavens and the
- earth. Blessings from heaven and from
- earth. But it turned out that they
- belied Our signs, so We punished them
- according to what they did. This is the
- first one. Second, because we associate
- partners with Allah Subhanahu wa Taala.
- Allah reminds us in the 19th verse of
- Surah Maryam. Takadus samawatu yataf
- minul ardirul jibalahmani walada which
- means almost the sky broke because of
- those words and the earth split and the
- mountains collapsed because they
- preached that Allah, the most merciful,
- had children. This is stated by Allah
- in Surah Maryam verses 90 and 91. Third
- , it violates the Prophet's command.
- Allah says in surah Annur, the 24th
- verse the 63rd verse. Auzubillah
- minasyaitanirjim. Falyahilladina
- yukifuna amrihi anusibahum fitnatun
- yusibahumzabun alim. which means, "So
- let those who violate the Messenger's
- command fear that they will be tempted
- or punished with a painful punishment."
- This is the third, namely obeying the
- Prophet's commands. Fourth, the loss of
- brotherhood among Muslims. Allah
- reminds us in Surah Al-Anfal where this
- verse is mentioned in the 73rd verse of
- Surah Al-Anfal, Surah 8.
- Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim.
- Walladina kafaru ba'duhum auliya illa
- taf'aluhu takun fitnatun fil ardhi wa
- facadeun kabir. This means that some of
- the disbelievers are protectors of
- others. If you, the Muslims, do not
- carry out what Allah commands, there
- will be chaos on earth and great
- corruption. What is meant by what Allah
- commands is the emergence of mutual
- love among Muslims. Strengthening
- brotherhood among Muslims, just as
- disbelievers love one another, just as
- disbelievers are brothers to one
- another. Now, if Muslims do not love
- one another like disbelievers, yes,
- like disbelievers among disbelievers
- and not brothers, it cannot strengthen
- brotherhood among believers, just as
- disbelievers are brothers to one
- another. Therefore, Allah warns against
- trial on earth and terrible corruption.
- So, brothers and sisters, who are so
- beloved by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala,
- let us introspect. Humanity is one, and
- Muslims are even more so, we are one.
- This is likely due to our sins.
- Therefore, Muslims elsewhere receive a
- warning from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
- Well, that is what Allah mentions in
- the Quran. Then fifth, the spread of
- immorality. This was conveyed by
- Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- in a hadith narrated by at-Tirmidhi
- which I freely translated as follows. I
- may have said this before, right? where
- Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- said, "If there are 13 disobediences,
- what are they? One, wealth only
- circulates among certain people. The
- second, when the trust is not fulfilled
- . The trust is used as a source of
- profit. The third, when the zakat owed
- is not paid. The fourth, when people
- study religion, people seek knowledge
- not because of religious encouragement,
- but because of other incentives. Fifth,
- when the husband is submissive to his
- wife, afraid of istrinya, sudah tentu
- dalam hal-hal yang tidak makruf. Kalau
- yang makruf, boleh kita mengikuti istri
- . Nah, ini suami takut dengan istri.
- Misalnya istri minta supaya dia korupsi
- , korupsi dia. Nah, istri minta supaya
- tidak salat, tidak salat dia karena
- kondangan misalnya semacam itu. Nah,
- istri tidak memakai jilbab, suami takut
- mengingatkan. Nah, ini ini yang tadi
- dimaksudkan dengan yang kelima. ketika
- suami sudah tunduk kepada istri. Yang
- keenam, ketika anak durhaka kepada
- ibunya, menjauhkan diri dari bapaknya,
- tetapi close to his friends Seventh,
- when voices are raised in mosques,
- meaning indecent voices are raised in
- mosques. Eighth, when a despicable
- person becomes a national or community
- figure. Those who become leaders are
- despicable people. Then ninth, when
- people are glorified because of their
- crimes. So, the evil person who is
- glorified, thieves, robbers, and so on,
- is glorified because maybe he has a lot
- of wealth, officialdom, high position,
- even though he is a thief or a robber.
- Well, is that glorification if
- corruptors enter here, Mr. Rizal, I
- wonder? Well, yes. Well, then the tenth
- is when the wicked have become leaders.
- So the leaders are the wicked people.
- Then the eleventh is when female
- singers and music are spread everywhere
- . The twelve is when alcohol is drunk
- everywhere. And finally, the thirteenth
- is when the final generation curses the
- companions. If that happens, just wait.
- Hot winds will come, earthquakes will
- come, landslides will occur, and rain
- will cough. This is it. causes of
- various kinds of disasters. Therefore,
- in the verse we mentioned earlier,
- la'allahum yarjiun. So that they come
- back, let's introspect ourselves and
- repent to Allah Subhanahu wa Taala.
- Excuse me. So if something undesirable
- happens, then let's use it as a tool
- for introspection. Because maybe or
- even Allah stated that it was our fault
- . In Surah An-Nisa verse 479, Allah
- says, Allah says:" Maaka minanatinallah
- w asobaka minin nafsik arsalnaka linasi
- rasula wa kafa. "Billahi syahida,"
- which means, "Whatever good you obtain
- is from Allah and whatever evil befalls
- you is because of your own fault." We
- sent you as an apostle to all mankind.
- Allah is sufficient as a witness. So it
- is impossible for Allah to give
- everything that comes from God is good.
- If bad things happen to humans, then it
- is from humans themselves. Therefore,
- do not blame others, but investigate
- the shortcomings that exist in yourself
- . So if we want to avoid disaster, then
- we should abandon the sins that have
- been mentioned above. So, how can we
- abandon sins? God willing, we will
- continue after the following story.
- Biananafna waana asrofna aladha asrofna
- fatub alaina taubah tagsilu kulla
- haubah. Wastur lanal aurati wa aminir
- rau'ati wagfir liwalidina rabbi wa
- mauludina wal ahli wal ikhwani
- wasyairil khillani wa kulli dzi
- mahabbah au jiratin ajabbi asma fadlan
- wjudan manna la biktisabin minna bil
- mustofa rasuli nahd bikulli sula
- wasallam rabbi alaihi addal habbi
- Hamdulil Ilahi fil badi watanahi. O
- Allah, we admit that we have sinned, we
- have transgressed. We almost slipped.
- Give us forgiveness, cleanse all
- insults. Cover our shortcomings, O
- Allah. Safe what we fear. Forgive our
- fathers and mothers as well as our
- children, family and brothers and all
- our friends and those we love,
- neighbors or friends and all Muslims.
- Amen. Please accept my wishes. Your
- grace and glory alone are not due to
- our efforts. With the position of Almfa
- sallallahu alaihi waalihi wasallam,
- grant our request. May Allah bestow
- blessings and greetings on the
- Messenger of Allah as many as the
- clouds. Praise be to Allah from
- beginning to end.
- Yes, thank you WWATI who is blessed by
- Allah. still listening to the
- friendship broadcast. We have seen the
- explanation given by Imam Yahya Mansur,
- a study of the Maudui interpretation of
- the Koran surah Ar-Rum, verses 41 to 42
- , disasters and their causes. Iwan
- Nawat, earlier we listened to what
- causes us to experience disasters and
- then how we can avoid these disasters.
- We'll return to the continuation. We'll
- listen to the continuation now, and God
- willing, after we've finished or
- completed his presentation, we'll share
- our impressions and answers with Iwan.
- As usual, please send your questions,
- responses, and comments to 08111999720
- or interact with us at 0218451512.
- We'll see what happens next. We welcome
- all the brothers and sisters who are so
- beloved by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
- Now that we understand the factors that
- cause disasters, Islam teaches us how
- to mitigate them. So, in mitigating
- disasters, or preventing them, there
- are two dimensions, two approaches. One
- is the physical dimension, or the
- external dimension. How do we do this?
- By repairing damaged areas. If a
- disaster has already occurred, as a
- preventative measure, we should
- preserve forests. Don't cut down trees
- carelessly, and organize urban spaces
- properly. These are all Islamic
- teachings, strengthening buildings and
- dams. Maintaining cleanliness. Don't
- litter, which can cause flooding. These
- are Islamic commands to keep us safe
- from disasters. Don't pollute the air
- and so on. Now, secondly, the spiritual
- dimension, this inner dimension, I
- think, is more important and
- fundamental. By abandoning sin. As Abul
- Aliah said earlier, he said, "Man
- asallaha fil ardhi faqod afsada fil ard
- lianna shahal ardhi wasama thaah."
- Which means, "Whoever disobeys Allah on
- the face of the earth has truly caused
- damage in it. Because the goodness of
- the earth and the sky depends on human
- obedience to Allah Subhanahu wa Taala.
- So, the second thing is to abandon
- disobedience. Why is it sometimes
- difficult for us to abandon immorality?
- Maybe we can think about what Ibnul
- Ibnul Qayyim Aljauzi said. He gave 10
- pieces of advice. He gave us 10 pieces
- of advice so that we can avoid
- kemaksiatan. Ingat apa yang dikatakan
- oleh para ulama biasanya merupakan
- kesimpulan dari Al-Qur'an dan Asunah.
- Mereka tidak membuat-buat sendiri dan
- tidak mungkin ulama berbuat bidah.
- Tidak mungkin. Jadi ini dari Al-Qur'an,
- dari Asunah kemudian mereka simpulkan.
- Beliau menyatakan begini, ada 10 hal
- yang dapat menghindarkan kemaksiatan.
- Yang pertama menyadari betul betapa
- buruk dan rendahnya perbuatan maksiat.
- Nah, ini kan sesuai. Kalau kita akan
- melakukan perbuatan maksiat, menyadar
- sadarlah betapa worse, how low the
- consequences of disobedience are That.
- When someone is about to gamble,
- remember how miserable they will be if
- they lose. Even if they win, they will
- suffer and commit suicide. So no one
- who wins at gambling will be happy.
- Their life will ultimately be miserable
- . If they are going to drink alcohol,
- reflect on it and realize the
- consequences of drinking alcohol. If
- they do that, God willing, they will
- avoid sin. Second, feel ashamed before
- Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Allah, who
- created us, has given us everything on
- this earth for us humans. Then we
- retaliate by sinning. How? Let's
- compare it, let's make an analogy. We
- might think that someone is fulfilling
- all our needs. Someone provides for us,
- but then we defy them. How is that? So,
- if someone is about to commit a sin,
- they should feel ashamed before Allah
- Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Third, always
- protect the blessings that Allah has
- bestowed upon us. So, let's safeguard
- the many blessings Allah has bestowed
- upon us. Third, feel afraid and worried
- about being punished. Because...It has
- been said that sin will result in
- punishment from Allah Subhanahu wa
- Ta'ala, both in this world and in the
- hereafter. Fifth, love Allah Subhanahu
- wa Ta'ala. If we love Allah, we will
- never oppose Him. So, let us love Allah
- Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. If we love Allah,
- God willing, we will avoid opposing the
- One we love. Because if we don't love
- Him, we will follow whatever commands
- we love, and we will never oppose them.
- Sixth, maintain our dignity and purity,
- and uphold our honor and goodness.
- People who commit sins lower their
- self-esteem. Just think of people who
- are caught committing sins. They don't
- feel proud. Even if they do, it's only
- fake. For example, if someone is caught
- doing drugs, they should be ashamed.
- Even corruptors today may seem to be
- laughing, but I'm sure their hearts are
- crying. So, when people commit sins,
- their self-esteem will plummet. So, so
- that we don't do it...Let us safeguard
- our dignity against sin. Seventh,
- possess the power of knowledge. How
- terrible the impact of sinful acts and
- their consequences are. As we mentioned
- earlier, it turns out that sin causes
- suffering not only to the perpetrator,
- but also to those who do not commit it,
- who will suffer and experience its
- consequences. So, he stopped committing
- sin. Eighth, according to Ibn Qayyim
- Al-Jauzi, is to eradicate useless
- dreams. Ninth, avoid excesses in eating
- , drinking, and dressing. In particular
- , people who commit sins generally do
- so because they are israf, they are
- excessive. And tenth, strengthen faith
- in the heart. This is the way to avoid
- sin. As for the brothers who have
- experienced or are indeed experiencing
- trials, there is nothing else but
- patience. Because everything that
- happens is a tool for introspection. So
- Allah reminds us that when we are
- struck by a calamity, we should be
- patient. Amen. Allah is the Most
- Gracious. said, nablakum bai minal
- khaufi walui waqs minal amwali wal
- anfusiaratirin alladina asum musibah q
- inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun
- ulaika alimahmah wa ulaikum muhtadun
- patience does not mean being passive
- but trying to find a solution. As we
- have said earlier, there are two
- dimensions to dealing with this
- disaster, namely the external dimension
- , then the internal dimension. And we
- pray, we pray for the animals that are
- being struck by the disaster. Hopefully
- , if they are Muslims, they are among
- the martyrs. In Islam, there are two
- meanings. Worldly martyr, worldly
- martyr, worldly martyr. Worldly martyr
- is someone who defends the religion of
- Allah with worldly intentions. People
- consider him a martyr in this world.
- Whereas Allah does not consider him.
- Second, someone who is a martyr in the
- world and the hereafter. He becomes a
- victim of what he does for the truth,
- upholding rights. Then he becomes
- sacrifice. That's it. the world and the
- hereafter. Indeed, in this world he is
- considered a martyr, in the afterlife
- he will also be considered a martyr.
- These heroes, God willing, will all be
- martyrs in the afterlife. Well, thirdly
- , as a martyr in the afterlife, he died
- not because he defended himself against
- the truth, but because he became a
- victim of disaster. Rasulullah
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam once said,"
- Asyuhada khamsah, alat'un, almabtun wal
- ghurq wasohibul hadmi wasyahid
- fisabilillah. "There are five martyrs.
- First, almat'un, namely people who are
- struck by the plague. One. Then the
- second, almabtun, people who suffer
- from stomach ailments. Maybe now
- cholera then also because they died
- during childbirth. The third, wal ghar
- drowned. This is a disaster. Then the
- fourth, shahibul hadmi, people who are
- hit by collapse. And fifth, people who
- are martyred in the path of Allah
- Subhanahu wa taala. Those who are
- martyred in the path of Allah are what
- are called martyrdom in the afterlife.
- Meanwhile, the four above are simply
- called martyrdom in the afterlife. So,
- when we think about the disasters that
- occur on this earth, the purpose is to
- make us aware 68th. Although Num
- hasanati wasayi'ati la'allahum yarjiun.
- And we try them with good and bad so
- that they return to the right path.
- Returning from sin. Leaving
- disobedience to obey Allah Subhanahu wa
- taala. Then as material for reflection,
- as a lesson, Allah told us to qul siru
- fil arzuru kaifa aqibadina minqbl kana
- aksaruhum musyrikin. Let's walk the
- earth and see what happened to the
- people before us who experienced
- disaster because they associated
- partners with Allah Subhanahu wa Taala.
- So in relation to the previous verse,
- that is, after we see that the previous
- people were affected by the disaster
- because they were disobedient to Allah,
- because they were polytheists towards
- Allah, then we return to Allah
- Subhanahu wa Taala. Hopefully we can
- all learn a lesson and hopefully this
- successive disaster will be lifted soon
- by Allah Subhanahu wa taala. Replaced
- with the loving grace of Allah
- Subhanahu wa taala. So hopefully there
- is its benefits. Okay, thank you,
- superiors Imam Yas Mansur and Ivan. We
- will go straight to the question and
- answer session. We invite those who
- want to submit questions, responses, or
- comments as usual to use the number
- 08111999720 to send a short message via
- SMS or WhatsApp or dialogue at
- 0218451512. I read the first SMS from
- the servant of Allah 085659512. That's
- all. That's all. Assalamualaikum
- warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
- Waalaikumsalam warahmatullah.
- Thank you for the sermon. It is very
- clear and easy to understand. May our
- leaders avoid wickedness that will
- destroy this nation. It could be
- because of the destruction of the
- leaders. Please respond.
- Yes. Thank you. Indeed, everything that
- happens, both good and bad, is covered
- in the Qur'an. So it is a blessing if
- we return to the Qur'an and everything
- has a solution and the solution must be
- certain It's not solutions that raise
- questions. If we turn to solutions
- created by humans, there's uncertainty.
- But if we turn to the Quran, we turn to
- Allah, we turn to the Prophet Muhammad,
- God willing, the solution is clear,
- precise, and correct. Likewise,
- Indonesia, which is facing various
- calamities, has no other solution than
- to return." La'allahum yarjiun. "So
- that they, including us, all
- Indonesians, and even humanity in
- general, may return to Allah Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala. Because this Muslim nation
- is indeed being tested by Allah. We see
- the series of trials occurring on earth
- , which is inhabited by Muslims. There
- was a disaster in Yemen, and disasters
- elsewhere as well. And so on. So, let's
- return to the guidance of Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. That's it. This is
- what we should use as our guide, not
- other guidelines whose solutions are
- unclear. God willing, by returning to
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, all
- disasters that occur will be
- transformed into blessings from Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. That's it.
- Okay. Next, this is a question via
- WhatsApp from Mrs. Lucy, 43 years old.
- She said," Ustaz, Ustaz, I have a
- problem. "" He said that my husband and
- four children, God willing, pray until
- they cry. For the past three years,
- they haven't been able to pay off their
- debt to the Islamic bank. Over time,
- our debt has only grown. Will my and my
- children's worship be accepted? He said
- it was by Allah. Because we have this
- usury debt, I'm trying to pay it off,
- but there's still a little left. How
- should I treat my children regarding
- the sanctity of our worship. Is this a
- disaster from Allah because of our
- mistakes? Even though the debt is not
- our debt? Please provide a solution.
- Yes,
- thank you.
- Ee, disaster is part of calamity. Yes,
- that's it. Well, calamity is anything
- that makes our hearts uncomfortable.
- The calamity is probably a warning from
- Allah Subhanahu wa taala. It's probably
- a trial. Trials have nothing to do with
- our mistakes, just as the apostles also
- often experienced calamities
- or perhaps because of our sins. But I
- really can't be sure what the cause is.
- Therefore, the most important thing is
- self-introspection.
- Yes.
- Well, with that we answer. So we don't
- Justifying people when self-reflection
- occurs. Has what we have been doing
- been in accordance with the guidance of
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala? If it were,
- why are we still experiencing
- calamities? It's likely a test from
- Allah. Like the apostles, their path
- was the right path. But they were not
- free from trials. Therefore, who was
- that, Ma'am?
- Bulusi.
- Bulusi. Let's introspect, Ma'am.
- Hopefully, by drawing closer to Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala, all problems can
- be resolved.
- But a believer is indeed good in
- everything. In the hadith, it is
- mentioned that a believer is all good.
- When he receives goodness, he is
- grateful, and things turn out well.
- When he experiences calamities, he is
- patient, and things turn out well. So
- everything is good as long as he
- remains in a state of faith. So, how do
- we eliminate or eliminate debt, avoid
- debt? Perhaps one way is by praying to
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allahumma
- inni azubika min adabi jahan. Then,
- when we are in The last tahiyat is
- mentioned as wagdain waqoh rijal. Well,
- that and O Allah, protect me from the
- burden of debt and being forced by
- people. Well, this may be read so that
- people so that we can avoid the burden
- of debt, yes. Allahum jubni wal kasal
- wub allahum jubni wal
- wal buk winal ajal kasal wubika minijal
- . Mother read this prayer, namely,
- hopefully, mother's debt can be paid
- off. The prayer asked for five things
- that we all should avoid. Allahumma
- inni naudubika minal ajzi. O Allah,
- protect me from feeling weak wal qasali
- and lazy. Waubik minal jubni wal bukhli
- . And protect us from fear and
- stinginess. Wubika min golatidin. And
- protect us, O Allah, from the burden of
- debt.
- Even the last six things are waqri
- rijal
- being oppressed or forced by others.
- Hopefully, once again, the thousand
- debt can be paid off. Amen.
- Read the prayer can be read in the last
- tahiyat because Indeed, that is the
- guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace
- and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or
- to be recited at certain times,
- especially after the five daily prayers
- or the night prayers. Well, that's how
- ablution is lacking. God knows best.
- Okay. Next from Surya in Jakarta. The
- question is short. How do we remain
- steadfast in goodness?
- Heeh. Yes. Indeed, the best is
- steadfastness. As mentioned in a hadith
- , there was a companion who asked the
- Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings
- be upon him). He said to him, "O
- Messenger of Allah, I will ask you a
- question, but please answer me briefly.
- And after this, I won't need to ask any
- more questions." So, what is that? The
- Prophet's short answer was, "qul amantu
- billah tummastaqim." That was the
- complete answer he gave so that he
- wouldn't ask anyone else. Say, "I
- believe in Allah." Then be steadfast,
- be steadfast. So if we want to be good,
- there are only two things. One is to
- believe in Allah, then be steadfast. Be
- steadfast. Istiqamah means remaining
- steadfast and steady, not wandering
- here and there. That is the
- understanding of istikamah according to
- the scholars. It's not like a rabbit
- that just jumped here and there
- yesterday,
- but continues. So, this is so that we
- can achieve what we hope for. So the
- straight and steady path is called
- siratal mustaqim. Well, actually, so
- that we can be steadfast, we must truly
- internalize the recitation of Surah
- al-Fatihah. Ihdinasiratal mustaqim.
- First, so that we can be steadfast, we
- ask Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
- Ihdinasiratal mustaqim. That's one.
- Then second, truly realizing how
- important istiqamah is in doing good
- deeds. Because with istikamah, a little
- can become a lot, a lot will increase
- to a lot. To the point that the Prophet
- said, "Indeed, the best return of good
- deeds is adwamuha wa inqal, which is
- lasting even if it is little." Well,
- this is the second. Realizing truly how
- important, how noble, how high the
- value of istikamah. Well, then thirdly,
- so that we can remain steadfast is our
- ability to fight our lusts. Well,
- that's because Satan is not happy. Our
- lusts are not happy if we are
- consistent. So who do we fight?
- Ourselves. Well, when there is a
- feeling of laziness, we fight it. Don't
- let ourselves be lazy. Well, when we
- are a bit slack in worship, we fight it
- . Don't let us slack off. Why? Because
- all of that, if we follow our slackness
- or our weaknesses, it will not bring
- any benefit to us. If we don't worship,
- will our bodies become healthy, feel
- good? No. For example, if we want to
- pray, want to wake up for the dawn
- prayer, it feels heavy. Well, we think
- if we sleep without the dawn prayer,
- will our sleep be more sound, more
- comfortable? What do you think, Mas
- Rijal? No, right?
- No,
- maybe even dizzy, right?
- Or those who are used to doing
- something, if they leave it, they will
- regret it.
- Therefore, we fight when things come
- that cause us to be slack. Well, in
- this way, God willing, we will continue
- to be steadfast. So this is what we
- must do to maintain the specialness of
- our steadfastness. First, pray to Allah
- by internalizing Surah al-Fatihah. Ah,
- then we realize how noble is
- steadfastness. Third, we fight when
- something seems to disturb our
- steadfastness. And Allah knows best.
- Well, in this modern era, the
- challenges are increasing and quite
- significant, such as through technology
- ,
- distracting cell phones, the
- environment, and private parts
- everywhere.
- Yes. Heeh.
- How? So, indeed, good deeds in this end
- time can be of greater value than good
- deeds in the time when immorality was
- not widespread.
- There is even a hadith mentioning who
- your friends are, O Messenger of Allah.
- Those are people who will come long
- after me, but they can still follow my
- teachings. Aren't we not, you are my
- friends, people who will come long
- after you and he remains in condition
- with my teachings, he doesn't commit
- many ee violations. That's what makes
- my brothers. Well, then also haven't
- reminded that people who can still hold
- on to goodness, hold on to the right in
- the midst of human corruption will have
- different values.
- H. Well, in a hadith it is said tuba
- lil guroba yes in full insyaallah diat
- muslim badal islamu goriban wasayaudu
- goriban kama bada fatuba lil gurobat
- This Islam started out strange later it
- will become strange again. So blessed
- are the strange people. H. Well, yes,
- maybe like the current situation where
- people do strange goodness, praying in
- the middle, for example, ee for example
- , maybe it's a bit extreme, people
- watch football
- H
- at sunset, right?
- Yes.
- But he prayed alone. Well, that's what
- it's called ee guraba.
- Fun. Because his friends don't pray or
- as I said yesterday, praying on the way
- .
- Hm. In the car.
- Well, in the car, on the
- plane.
- Well, on the plane. Well, there was a
- time when I was praying, someone asked,
- "What prayer did you pray?" Well,
- that's it. Well, that and also other
- things. Maybe we can see what's going
- on, praying.
- He.
- But obviously, the time will be lost.
- That's guroba. So what I said earlier,
- Mas Rijal, is indeed a tough challenge,
- a bigger challenge. But the Prophet
- said tubil ghuroba. Blessed are the
- strangers. That's in the hadith that
- mentions who the strangers are man ahya
- sunnati. People who revive my sunnah
- when people turn it off. Well, so those
- are the strangers. People think it's
- not sunnah. Well, but then we revive it
- .
- This is clearly strange. Well, and
- there are many examples like this,
- which are actually sunnah. But then
- people think it's not sunnah, we do it.
- Well, that's the positive value or plus
- point of worshiping amidst great
- challenges. Therefore, we must not give
- up
- in
- facing these challenges because their
- value is greater than the small
- challenges.
- God knows best. Okay, next from Mrs.
- Rido in Depok. Peace be upon you. And
- peace be upon you.
- If someone has received frequent
- warnings from Allah but still commits
- sins, does not want to repent, then has
- this person's faith been revoked by
- Allah?
- Yes.
- Heeh. Indeed, the level of human faith,
- their trust in Allah varies. Faith also
- varies. As I said before, al imanu
- yazidu waanquus. This faith sometimes
- increases, sometimes decreases. but it
- can also disappear completely. H.
- Now, what causes that? Sin. It's like
- Allah said, "Kalla balon alubihim mau
- yaksibun." Don't be like that. In fact,
- they have closed their hearts because
- of the sins they have committed. Their
- hearts are closed. Well, people whose
- hearts are closed are called infidels.
- So infidels means cover. H
- which becomes the English word cover.
- Cover.
- Well, that's because his heart is
- covered by the sin he committed. Why?
- Actually, Allah created the heart,
- which we discussed yesterday about the
- various types of hearts. Well, there
- are three, right, when we talked about
- the ala bidikrillahi tatmainul qulub.
- Well, the heart is like this hand. As
- long as he doesn't sin much, his hand
- will be normal. But when he sins, then,
- as I said earlier, he is warned by
- Allah once and closes it.
- Now, if he then remembers, he opens it.
- But when the warning comes, it closes
- once.
- Reminded again, it closes. Reminded
- again, it closes. Reminded again, it
- closes. Hearing it is closed, his faith
- is lost. Well, that's what we really
- worry about. Allah's warning should
- make us aware, but instead, the coming
- of Allah's warning makes him an infidel
- . There are people like this. Well, we
- ask Allah to protect us from things we
- don't want. A kind of warning comes.
- Well, but he doesn't become aware, but
- instead he increases his sins. It's
- like a story, a story of Sufism. When
- someone is about to die, this is what
- we take as an example. The truth is,
- God knows it is possible, sir. Someone
- is about to die, and an angel comes.
- Then the angel announces his purpose, "
- I will take your life." Uh, I'm not
- ready. H. Why did you come suddenly? So
- then again, what we take is the content
- , not the story. The angel was asked by
- someone, "Please tell Allah so that
- when you take my life, I will be warned
- first." Well, that's it. Well, the
- angel reported to Allah, "O Allah, this
- person asked for a delay so that later
- there will be a warning beforehand."
- Once again, this story is to serve as a
- warning
- SP1 first.
- Well, that's it. Well, I'll warn you,
- okay. Okay.
- Well, then after a few years later the
- angel came again. It's time for you to
- die, your life must be taken. Well, why
- wasn't there a warning? What kind of
- warning? Your hair has grown gray. H.
- Well, sometimes we warn you but you
- don't realize that your eyes are
- starting to fall out, your ears are
- starting to decrease, your energy is
- also already there, those are all
- warnings. But it turns out you don't
- feel that they are warnings. Well, like
- what Mrs. Dian said earlier, if he is
- warned a lot but doesn't realize it,
- well, this becomes troublesome. Well,
- that person was the same. He was warned
- by Allah, but he didn't feel it. Yes.
- Well, hopefully with Allah's warnings
- that come, we become aware. Well,
- la'allahum yarjiun. so that they return
- to laallana narji so that hopefully all
- of us with these many disasters will
- remember Allah and return to carrying
- out the guidance of Allah subhanahu wa
- taala.
- Amen. Amen. Okay, next we will take a
- call. It seems someone has been waiting
- . Hello. Assalamualaikum.
- Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh.
- Waalaikumsalam.
- With whom? Where? Please turn the
- volume down a bit, Bang Jawir in Kerasa
- with Muhammad Hanafi in Keramat Jati.
- Heeh. Yes,
- yes. Please, Mr. Muhammad.
- Like this, Mr. Ustaz, I'm experiencing
- a disaster and have been sick
- for a year and haven't recovered. I'm
- aware again that I'm receiving a
- warning from Allah. Then I've sincerely
- repented, trying hard to
- sincerely repent.
- Hm.
- Ee is it permissible like that, Mr.
- Ustaz, to repent because of illness.
- Then I often pray to Allah, ee often
- pray repentance, ask for forgiveness
- and give alms more. I often pray to
- Allah to forgive my sins, accept my
- repentance, and heal all my illnesses.
- Heeh.
- E and what else, Mr. Ustaz, what should
- I do so that my repentance is accepted,
- my sins are forgiven, and my illness is
- healed. Please explain, Mr. Ustaz.
- Thank you very much. Assalamualaikum
- warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
- Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi
- wabarakatuh. Well,
- this is like what I said earlier
- between disaster and sin. Sometimes
- there is a connection, sometimes there
- is no connection.
- But thank God, you realized
- the possibility of many sins I have
- committed. So, then repentance. Now,
- the problem is repentance. Repentance
- comes from the word taba yatubu
- taubatan, which means to return.
- Then, this repentance has several
- conditions. Is the fault against Allah?
- Because in essence, all the sins we
- commit, including the defiance I
- committed, are only two. The
- possibility of sinning against Allah,
- then sinning against fellow humans or
- against the creatures of Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. That's it. All
- sins have only two dimensions. One is
- sinning against Allah who created us.
- Then, sinning against the creatures of
- Allah, which becomes a duty not to
- repeat the sins one has committed.
- First, repentance must first come from
- regret. Regret means regret. For
- example, if I commit corruption, that
- is
- my first regret. Then, after that, I
- stop my corruption. Then, third, I
- instill in myself the will not to
- repeat my mistake again, which is to
- commit fraud again. But because
- corruption is part of human error,
- there is a fourth factor. What about
- returning the rights of others who have
- corrupted? That's why it's difficult
- for someone who commits corruption,
- even if they actually do it. Well, if
- the error is against Allah, those three
- are enough. For example, if I don't
- pray, that's a sin. I disobey Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. What I do is
- regret it, "O Allah, why didn't I pray?
- " Then second, I stop praying. Yes,
- then I pray. That's the second factor.
- And third, I intend not to repeat it
- again. Meaning I won't miss prayer
- again. That's what repentance is. But
- if one of those things isn't fulfilled,
- it's not repentance. So is it called
- naswesal repentance?
- Hmm. Doesn't
- it stop? Well, or he regrets it but he
- doesn't stop. Oh, why didn't I stop
- praying? He's miserable. But he still
- doesn't pray. Well, he regrets it but
- he doesn't stop his sin. Then, for
- example, he prays, but then he says, "
- Oh, God is all-forgiving. I'll have to
- repeat it." Well, that's not genuine
- repentance. Well, if it's a sin against
- God like that. Well, if it's possible
- to humans, for example, if I take
- someone else's property, I owe them,
- those three things aren't enough. It's
- not enough to regret it, it's not
- enough to stop the act, and then it's
- not enough to have the intention not to
- repeat it, but he has to return what he
- stole.
- h
- to the person whose property he took.
- Or if it's a form of resistance to
- honor, for example, badmouthing people
- and so on. He.
- If it does get better, you can say, "
- Sir, I used to badmouth you, for
- example, gossiping." Well, if it does
- get better, but if it gets
- worse, that's enough. The scholars say
- we don't need to convey it, but stop
- and then pray a lot for the person
- whose honor we violated. So that's what
- happened to Mr.
- Muhammad Hanafi, who was reportedly
- sick for a year. Is it
- permissible for someone who is sick to
- repent?
- Oh, it is permissible. I am
- grateful, perhaps because of the
- illness, he is aware of it.
- Yes. So because he was warned by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala, he then repented
- because the illness was okay like that.
- Because sometimes awareness,
- ee, the background is varied, yes,
- and this erases sins, this is illness.
- Yes, illness clearly buries sins,
- elevates status, and so on,
- and Allah will cleanse all his mistakes
- . So, this believer is in good
- condition. Healthy, he is grateful for
- the reward.
- H
- sick, he is patient for the reward.
- Well, hopefully, ee, Mr. Hanafi's
- illness brings various kinds of
- goodness. Don't forget to pray a lot
- because the prayers of the sick person
- are answered by Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala.
- That's more or less it.
- Okay. Hopefully, Mr. Hanafi will be
- answered. May his illness be given
- patience and also be healed soon and
- his sins forgiven.
- Amen. Amen.
- Okay. It seems that the call from Mr.
- Mabad Hari is the last question we can
- answer due to limited time,
- and perhaps before Hari can convey his
- closing. Please go ahead.
- Hehe. Brothers and sisters, the
- disasters that occur are due to human
- error,
- human actions. Ah, then, with the
- occurrence of disasters, Allah reminds
- us to be aware of our mistakes. Then we
- return to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala by
- abandoning all kinds of sins. Then,
- that disasters do not only befall those
- who commit sins, but can also befall
- good people. So realize that sins not
- only impact the sinners themselves, but
- also those who do not commit sins. Then
- , fourth, for those who are being
- struck by disaster, we pray that the
- disasters that befall us all cause our
- sins to be forgiven by Allah Subhanahu
- wa Ta'ala. Then our status is raised by
- Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and makes us
- aware of our own weaknesses. Many
- humans are actually very weak. Only God
- is all-powerful. Yes, so hopefully it
- is useful. Okay, thank you and
- jazakullah khairu to Imam Mansur for
- his study on this afternoon. May all
- our brothers be able to learn the
- lessons and wisdom from what he
- conveyed and of course practice it in
- their daily lives. Iwan and may we all
- be protected from calamities. Amen.
- And also may Allah forgive our sins
- even if we also committed any sins that
- resulted in calamities or trials for us
- . We also express our gratitude to Iwan
- Watat for their cooperation in
- listening to the radio silaturahim and
- also to the relay radios in the regions
- who also listen to the YouTube
- streaming Rasil Visual or Rasil TV Iwan
- Nawat. Thank you and also apologize to
- Iwan Nawat who has sent questions due
- to time constraints we cannot read them
- all. However, please inform us that the
- time for the call to prayer for Maghrib
- or Maghrib prayer today for Jakarta and
- its surrounding areas is 17:57 minutes,
- yes. There are approximately 27 minutes
- left, perhaps preparation for
- congregational prayers at the mosque.
- My name is Rizal Hak, along with the
- dakwah fighters this afternoon,

- Bang Atep, I will take my leave.
