0:15 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 0:16 , the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you, 0:17 and Allah's mercy and blessings. 0:18 And peace be upon you too, and Allah's 0:19 mercy. 0:20 O Allah, send blessings upon our master 0:21 Muhammad and the family of our master 0:22 Muhammad. Praise be to Allah, we meet 0:26 again today, Friday, the 3rd of Safar 0:28 1448 Hijriah, or July 17, 2026. We meet 0:32 again for reflections under the light 0:34 of the Quran with Ustaz Husein bin 0:36 Hamid Alatas. Praise be to Allah, we 0:38 are already in the studio. Here we also 0:39 have Atep. Then there is Algi. Alright, 0:43 let us begin this program by reciting 0:45 al-Fatihah. Al-Fatihah and the verses 0:49 we will read, yes. Uh, al-Fatihah, and 0:52 we will also read Surah al-Kahf verses 0:54 54 to 59. You may listen along. 0:57 I seek refuge in Allah from the 0:59 accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, 1:04 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 1:10 All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the 1:13 worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most 1:19 Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment 1:24 . You alone we worship, and You alone 1:28 we ask for help. Guide us to the 1:35 straight path. The path of those upon 1:40 whom You have bestowed favor. Not of 1:44 those who have evoked Your anger or of 1:46 those who are astray. Amen. And We have 1:57 certainly diversified in this Quran for 2:01 the people from every [kind of] example 2:05 . But man has ever been, most of 2:09 anything, prone to dispute. And nothing 2:16 prevents the people from believing when 2:20 guidance has come to them and asking 2:24 forgiveness of their Lord except that 2:27 there must befall them the precedent of 2:30 the former peoples or that the 2:32 punishment should come to them directly 2:36 . And We send not the messengers except 2:43 as bringers of good tidings and warners 2:52 , but those who disbelieve dispute by [ 2:54 using] falsehood to invalidate thereby 2:56 the Truth. And they have taken My 2:59 verses and that of which they are 3:02 warned in mockery. And who is more 3:08 unjust than one who is reminded of the 3:10 verses of his Lord but turns away from 3:13 them? Indeed, We have placed over their 3:24 hearts coverings, lest they understand 3:26 it, and in their ears deafness. And if 3:33 you invite them to guidance, they will 3:35 never be guided then, ever. And your 3:42 Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. 3:49 If He were to impose blame upon them 3:50 for what they earned, He would have 3:51 hastened for them the punishment. For 3:55 them is an appointment from which they 3:59 will find no escape. And those cities- 4:04 We destroyed them when they committed 4:06 wrongs, and We made for their 4:10 destruction an appointment. Allah the 4:16 Almighty has spoken the truth, and His 4:23 noble Messenger has spoken truthfully, 4:25 and we are among the witnesses to that. 4:31 O Allah, grant us mercy from Yourself 4:33 and prepare for us from our affair 4:34 right guidance, and benefit us with 4:36 what You have taught us. Our Lord, 4:39 increase us in knowledge and join us 4:41 with the righteous. Brothers and 4:44 sisters, listeners and viewers of Radio 4:47 TV Silaturahmi who are blessed by Allah 4:49 . There have been quite enough lessons 4:55 that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has 4:58 given to us. Whether through the verses 5:04 of His Book, through His Messengers, 5:07 through the signs of Allah found in the 5:11 heavens and on earth, including those 5:14 found within ourselves, all of which 5:17 point to Allah, the One, with no 5:20 partner. Because if there were other 5:26 rulers with Allah in this universe, 5:28 surely the heavens and the earth would 5:31 face destruction. The universe is so 5:37 harmonious running with perfect balance 5:43 , all handled by Allah Subhanahu wa 5:46 ta'ala. Then we, among other creations 5:52 of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, are 5:55 honored by Allah as stewards upon this 5:58 earth who bear the trust with our 6:05 entire lives, which we will later be 6:07 held accountable for before Allah. So 6:11 Allah gave us the freedom to choose. 6:15 Allah gave us intellect. Allah sent His 6:18 Messengers and revealed His Book so 6:21 that we cannot blame Allah in the 6:24 hereafter later. That Allah never gave 6:28 us any lessons. Therefore, brothers and 6:32 sisters who are blessed by Allah, this 6:35 life of ours is truly very precious. 6:39 Which will determine our fate: either 6:42 paradise forever or fire forever. 6:45 Forever we will dwell in heaven or 6:48 forever we will languish in hellfire. A 6:53 life without end. Those who believe, do 6:58 righteous deeds, are grateful to Allah, 7:03 do good to others, uphold justice, 7:06 defend the oppressed, and protect them 7:10 from the evil of the wrongdoers, they 7:14 are the ones who attain fortune and 7:18 success. As for those who cause 7:23 destruction and evil on earth, 7:26 cooperate with the unjust, and commit 7:30 tyranny solely for the satisfaction of 7:35 their desires, if they do not repent 7:38 before Allah's call comes, they will 7:42 regret their entire lives and the 7:46 opportunities Allah gave them. They 7:50 will experience loss. Loss of 7:54 everything. But it is such a pity. 7:59 Although there are so many lessons, few 8:02 among us take heed. Yet Allah has 8:09 provided warnings and lessons from the 8:11 stories of nations before us. Likewise 8:15 from the nations around us. Those who 8:21 deny and commit evil on earth, their 8:25 fate is actually very tragic. The 8:31 wrongdoers cannot always act as they 8:34 please. Allah does not forget or 8:37 neglect them. But Allah, glory be to 8:41 Him, gives them a respite. Allah also 8:45 wants to see among His servants. Is 8:48 there anyone who steps forward to stop 8:50 and confront the wrongdoers and defend 8:53 the oppressed? So let us, before the 9:00 opportunity is lost, before the call of 9:03 Allah comes, repent together to Allah, 9:07 contemplate His verses, practice His 9:10 guidance, and follow His prophet with 9:14 his noble sunnahs. Sunnahs that are 9:19 very beautiful, which unite and do not 9:21 divide, which truly water our souls 9:26 with grace and love, because our 9:28 prophet was sent by Allah as a mercy to 9:30 all creation. Now, on this morning 9:35 occasion, God willing, we will together 9:37 contemplate several verses from Surah 9:39 Al-Kahf starting from verse 54 to verse 9:42 59. Allah, glory be to Him, reminds us. 9:52 And We have certainly diversified for 9:55 the people in this Qur'an from every 9:57 kind of example; but man, most of all 9:59 things, is ever prone to dispute. 10:03 Indeed, We have explained repeatedly in 10:07 the Qur'an with various kinds of 10:11 parables. Through various parables, 10:18 Allah provides very beautiful lessons. 10:22 Parables that explain to us about the 10:25 oneness of Allah, glory be to Him, the 10:30 peace of those who hold fast to Allah, 10:33 and shelter under His protection. Then 10:37 Allah gives a depiction of how those 10:39 who seek shelter from other than Allah 10:41 fare. Like insects that come to a 10:45 spider's web seeking protection. 10:49 Instead of getting protection, they 10:53 become prey for the spider. Many 11:00 parables that Allah has given to us. 11:03 But it turns out they all just pass by. 11:07 Even though the explanation that Allah, 11:11 glory be to Him, gives to us is so 11:13 clear, so evident. But man is mostly 11:18 prone to dispute. But it turns out that 11:23 most humans are fond of and love to 11:27 argue. Not arguing just to seek the 11:31 truth, but arguing, well, for what? To 11:35 refute the truths that are clearly 11:38 present before them. Also showing 11:41 arrogance, pride, and haughtiness. Even 11:45 though they are listening to guidance 11:49 from the verses of the Lord who created 11:52 them. But it turns out that humans are 11:57 fond of resisting, contradicting, and 12:00 debating. Because they prefer to follow 12:03 their desires rather than the truth. W 12:08 mana yu idahul huda wafirubahum illa 12:13 tatiahum sunatul awalin yaiahumulzabu 12:18 qubula. And nothing prevents humans 12:28 when the guidance of Allah Subhanahu wa 12:30 ta'ala comes from believing in Allah 12:36 and asking for forgiveness for their 12:39 mistakes except for what? Except for 12:44 the arrival of Sunnatullah, the 12:49 traditions of Allah. That which applied 12:52 to the nations before us. Likewise, the 12:55 arrival of the punishment of Allah 12:56 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. This verse 13:01 actually offers a very interesting 13:02 expression. It is as if they will only 13:06 believe and ask Allah for forgiveness 13:11 when the tradition of Allah that 13:13 applied to the nations before them 13:15 arrives. Namely, by bringing down 13:18 various kinds of trials. Likewise the 13:21 arrival of Allah's punishment. It is as 13:24 if they will only believe when Allah's 13:26 punishment comes to them. Even though 13:29 by itself what about them? They 13:34 certainly wouldn't wish for the 13:35 punishment of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 13:37 to come. But it is their attitude that 13:41 rejects faith, that really refuses to 13:44 what? To welcome the guidance and 13:47 direction that comes from Allah. Then 13:50 ask for forgiveness and repent from 13:52 their mistakes until the punishment of 13:54 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala comes. It 14:00 means they only feel regret, they only 14:04 realize their mistakes and will only 14:07 believe at that moment. But the 14:09 opportunity has been lost, Mas Krishna. 14:14 So, people who believe and are certain 14:17 of Allah's promise should learn from 14:20 what the nations before us experienced. 14:25 When listening to the verses of Allah, 14:28 the guidance that leads them to a more 14:31 noble life, they should not be lazy. 14:35 They should rush to welcome the call of 14:38 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Do not delay 14:41 it until the punishment of Allah comes 14:43 and the opportunity is lost to them. 14:46 Now, this is what we encounter, Mas 14:49 Krishna, happening among most of us. 14:54 Many officials forget Allah while they 14:56 are in office. 14:58 Hm. When they realize, they say, "God 15:04 willing, when I retire, I will repent 15:07 to Allah and improve myself." 15:13 It turns out that before they repent, 15:16 before they improve themselves, death 15:19 takes them. 15:22 This is a very heavy regret. There is 15:29 something interesting, Mas Krishna. 15:35 When they have free time, when their 15:38 business is thriving, when they are 15:41 holding office, they are not aware. 15:46 They even commit many crimes, also 15:48 obstructing people who convey the truth 15:51 . Not allowing them to convey the 15:55 mandate of Allah because they are 15:59 afraid it will influence the people, in 16:01 their opinion. 16:02 H 16:03 Subhanallah. Once they retire, they 16:07 join religious gatherings. 16:09 Attending combined dawn lectures. Then 16:12 they come to the scholars whom they 16:14 once obstructed from giving lectures. 16:16 He. 16:17 They say, "I apologize to you all for 16:19 what I did before. I was the one who 16:21 blocked you from conveying Allah's 16:23 message. Now I regret it and I repent. 16:28 They regret it after losing their 16:30 influence, losing their power, and 16:33 wanting to return to their roots. They 16:37 start to realize that their actions 16:38 were all the same. H 16:41 But when he is in power and still has 16:43 authority, he should use it to help 16:45 smooth the path of da'wah and improve 16:47 the environment, so that the people do 16:50 not live aimlessly without a shepherd 16:52 to guide them. So, the conclusion from 16:58 verse 55 is that Allah Subhanahu wa 17:00 ta'ala here describes the condition of 17:03 people who will only believe and ask 17:06 for forgiveness when Allah's punishment 17:08 comes upon them, as if they were 17:10 waiting for that very punishment. And 17:15 we know that when Allah Subhanahu wa 17:17 ta'ala's punishment arrives, their 17:20 faith will be of no use on that day. Wa 17:24 yaquluna mata hadzal-fathu in kuntum 17:27 shadiqin. They say with arrogance, when 17:30 will this" fath "(victory) come? The 17:33 victory that Allah promised to you all. 17:38 As well as the defeat that will be 17:39 experienced by those who disbelieve and 17:41 are struck by punishment. Allah answers 17:44 ," Qul yaumal-fathi la yanfa'ulladzina 17:47 kafaru imanuhum wa hum la yunzarun. "" 17:50 Say, when Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 17:52 grants victory to His servants who 17:54 fight in the way of Allah, defeating 17:57 His enemies on that day, it will not 17:59 benefit the disbelievers if they wish 18:01 to believe at that moment. "Like 18:04 Pharaoh, when the water reached his 18:07 throat, he said," Now I believe as 18:10 believed by... ""...the Children of 18:13 Israel, as believed by Musa and Harun. 18:16 "" But faith at that moment is of no 18:18 use. "Because it is not sincere faith, 18:22 but rather forced faith at a time when 18:25 he no longer has any opportunity left, 18:28 only then does he repent. So Allah 18:37 Subhanahu wa ta'ala continues in the 18:39 following verse. Wa ma 18:41 nursilul-mursalina illa mubasysyirina 18:44 wa mundzirin. Indeed, We do not send 18:49 the messengers except to convey glad 18:52 tidings to those who wish to follow 18:54 Allah and His Messenger, and also as 18:57 warners to those who are heedless, 19:00 neglectful, and carried away by their 19:03 desires. Living without following 19:06 Allah's guidance. This means Allah does 19:09 not command the Prophet to force them 19:11 to believe. The task of the Prophet, 19:13 the task of the messengers, and 19:14 likewise the task of the scholars, is 19:16 to convey glad tidings and warnings. So 19:22 , wa ma nursilul-mursalina illa 19:25 mubasysyirina wa mundzirin. Wa 19:29 yujadilulladzina kafaru bil-bathili 19:31 liyudhidhu bihil-haqqa wattakhadzu 19:34 ayati wa ma undziru huzwa. As for the 19:41 disbelievers, they know the truth, but 19:43 they are defiant and refuse to accept 19:45 the truth. They refute what is conveyed 19:49 by the messengers or conveyed by those 19:52 who bring the truth. They argue and 19:56 dispute in a false manner—pointless 19:58 debates without any basis in truth. 20:01 Liyudhidhu bihil-haqq. They attempt to 20:04 invalidate the truth with their 20:06 rebuttals. They forget that their 20:09 efforts are actually in vain. Yuriduna 20:12 liyuthfi'u nurallahi bi-afwahihim 20:14 wallahu mutimmu nurihi wa law 20:15 karihal-kafirun. They want to 20:18 extinguish the light of Allah with 20:20 their mouths, but Allah will perfect 20:22 His light even if the disbelievers 20:24 dislike it. If someone wanted to blow 20:28 out the sunlight with their mouth, 20:32 people would say this person is insane 20:34 and their effort is futile. How could 20:35 they possibly 20:37 extinguish the light of Allah when the 20:39 source of that light is Allah Subhanahu 20:42 wa ta'ala? 20:43 So, the disbelievers appear not to 20:46 welcome the truth, but to argue and 20:48 refute the truth in a vain way, with 20:50 the aim of striking down what is true. 20:56 Wataku ayati wiru huzua. They take My 20:59 verses. And likewise the warnings given 21:03 to them, as mockery. Let them laugh and 21:07 mock. A time will come when they will 21:11 face a bitter reality they never 21:14 imagined. All of that is due to their 21:17 arrogance and disbelief. Then Allah 21:22 Subhanahu wa ta'ala poses a question of 21:26 al-abil inkar, which means to deny," 21:29 Waman adlamu mimman ukkira biayati 21:33 rabbihi fa'a'rada 'anha wa nasiya ma 21:37 qaddamat yadahu. "Wa qad mahtadu. Allah 21:46 asks," Who is more unjust? "Waman 21:52 adlamu mimman ukkira biayati rabbihi. 21:55 Is there anyone more unjust, more cruel 21:58 , than a person who is warned with the 22:00 verses of Allah? Fa'a'rada' anha. 22:04 Instead of being grateful or rejoicing, 22:06 he turns away. When given a warning, he 22:09 turns away from the verses of Allah. Wa 22:12 nasiya ma qaddamat. And he forgets all 22:16 the evil deeds committed by his own 22:18 hands. He should have welcomed it, felt 22:21 regret, and sought forgiveness because 22:23 the warning came to remind him. But 22:27 instead, with arrogance, he rejects, 22:30 defies, turns away from the truth, and 22:32 forgets the evil deeds committed by his 22:35 own hands. Wa nasiya ma qaddamat yadahu 22:44 . Then Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 22:47 continues." Inna ja'alna 'ala qulubihim 22:53 akinnatan ay-yafqahuuhu wa fi adhanihim 22:56 waqran. "" Wa in tad'uhum ilal-huda 23:01 falan yahtadu idan abada. "Indeed, 23:06 because of their arrogant and haughty 23:09 deeds, and because they follow their 23:12 desires, We have placed over their 23:15 hearts a covering that veils their 23:19 awareness. Wa fi adhanihim waqran. 23:24 Likewise, a plug in their ears." Inna 23:28 ja'alna' ala qulubihim akinnatan wa fi 23:30 adhanihim waqran. "Huda yahtadu. What? 23:37 If you invite them to follow Allah's 23:40 guidance, it is impossible for them to 23:44 ever welcome the call. Falan yahtadu 23:48 idan abada. It is impossible for them 23:50 to follow that guidance. Why? Because 23:53 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala has sealed 23:55 their hearts. And also closed their 23:58 ears to hearing the truth. People might 24:01 say," Wait, Krishna, doesn't that make 24:04 Allah unjust? " 24:05 Not at all. Actually, this expression 24:09 describes how humans, blinded by their 24:11 own desires, refuse to accept the truth 24:13 even when they hear it. As Allah states 24:18 in Surah Al-Jathiyah." Afara'aita 24:21 manittakhadha ilahahu hawahu wa 24:23 adhallahullahu 'ala' ilmin. "Have you 24:26 seen the one who takes his own desire 24:29 as his god? In the end, Allah lets him 24:33 go astray 'ala' ilmin, while knowing, 24:35 not while ignorant. Wa adhallahullahu ' 24:41 ala' ilmin. Allah seals his hearing. 24:45 And likewise his heart. Wa ja'ala 'ala 24:48 basarihi ghishawatan, Allah also places 24:50 a veil over his sight. Yahdi ba'dillah. 24:55 For a person like this, who else has 24:56 the power to help them, Krishna? Afala 24:58 tadhakkarun? 25:00 Are you not aware and taking lessons 25:02 from all of this? So, the conclusion is 25:06 : those whose hearts are sealed by 25:08 Allah, whose eyes and hearing are 25:10 closed to accepting the truth, are 25:12 those who make their desires their god 25:14 and feel proud, following their 25:16 arrogance, refusing to accept the truth 25:19 that comes from Allah. Then they mocked 25:24 the verses of Allah. Instead of 25:27 accepting them, they mocked Allah's 25:29 verses just like in the previous verse. 25:32 Then" warabbukal ghafurur-rahmah la 25:34 yu'akhiduhum bima kasabu la'ajjala 25:37 lahumul' adhab, bal lahum mau'idul lay 25:39 yajidu min dunihi mau'ila. "And your 25:43 Lord, the One who created you, who 25:45 cares for you, who nurtures you." 25:49 Warabbukal ghafur. "He is the 25:52 All-Forgiving." Dhur-rahmah. "And what 25:55 else is He? The sole possessor of mercy 25:58 . If they come to ask for Allah's 26:00 forgiveness, Allah will surely open the 26:02 gates of His mercy. Likewise, He will 26:04 also open the seals on their hearts. 26:06 But unfortunately, those who are 26:09 arrogant never realize their mistakes. 26:13 Instead of improving themselves, they 26:15 persist in their arrogance. Whereas 26:18 your Lord, He is the only All-Forgiving 26:21 One, the only possessor of mercy." La 26:24 yu'akhiduhum bima kasabu. "If Allah 26:27 were to punish them for the evil deeds 26:30 they committed," la'ajjala lahumul ' 26:32 adhab, "He would certainly hasten their 26:34 torment." Bal lahum mau'idul lay yajidu 26:37 min dunihi mau'ila. "But there is a set 26:40 time and moment promised by Allah. And 26:44 on that day, if they had not repented 26:47 beforehand, they would find no 26:49 protector to shield them. Then the 26:52 conclusion of this lesson," wa tilkal 26:55 qura ahlaknahum lamma zalamu. "And 26:58 those are the towns We destroyed 27:00 because of their injustice." Ahlaknahum 27:07 lamma zalamu. "" wa ja'alna 27:11 limahlikihim mau'ida. "And We have 27:14 determined a time and moment for their 27:16 destruction." Tilka "here refers to 27:19 what? It refers to the people of Thamud 27:23 , now known as Ula, which is used as a 27:27 place for entertainment and sinful 27:30 activities. That was the dwelling place 27:32 of the Thamud people who were destroyed 27:34 by Allah. The people of' Ad. Likewise, 27:39 what was experienced by Pharaoh, by 27:42 Nimrod in Iraq, all these" tilka "point 27:46 to them. Those are the cities We 27:48 destroyed when they committed injustice 27:50 . Including the people of Lot, yes. 27:56 Until now, the Dead Sea remains a 27:57 witness to the place where Lot's people 27:59 were destroyed by Allah Subhanahu wa 28:01 ta'ala. We destroyed them. Because they 28:06 acted unjustly and We have set a time 28:09 and moment for their destruction. 28:12 Therefore, let us not, as believers who 28:16 have heard the warnings, explanations, 28:19 and so many parables, let us not make 28:22 ourselves targets of torment, targets 28:26 of Allah's wrath." Waliyadubillah. "May 28:30 we all be people who can draw the best 28:33 lessons from Allah's guidance and 28:35 instructions. May Allah keep us away 28:39 from arrogance. May Allah save us from 28:42 our own desires so that we become the 28:44 masters. Not our desires being the 28:46 masters. While our hope is only in 28:50 Allah." Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka 28:52 nasta'in. Ihdinas-siratal mustaqim, 28:56 siratalladhina an'amta 'alaihim, 28:59 ghairil maghdubi' alaihim walad-dallin. 29:02 "Amen. 29:04 Well, that was the explanation of Surah 29:07 Al-Kahf verses 54 to 59. For those of 29:11 you who wish to ask, we are waiting at 29:13 0811999720. There is already a question 29:18 from Mr. Ahad. Greetings, Ustaz Husin. 29:20 Waalaikumsalam. 29:21 In Surah Al-Furqan verse 23," We shall 29:23 face every deed they have done. "And We 29:26 shall turn their deeds into scattered 29:29 dust. Does the good work of a Muslim 29:33 who does not perform prayer become like 29:35 what is described in the verse above? 29:39 Please provide an explanation. 29:41 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 29:42 , the Most Merciful. Allah says," 29:44 Waqadimna ila ma amilu min amalin 29:47 faja'alnahu habaam manturo. "" And We 29:51 shall turn to the deeds they did in the 29:57 past. We will make those deeds like 30:02 fine dust, scattered about. "This means 30:05 their deeds are in vain because they 30:08 did not believe in Allah the Exalted. 30:13 Therefore, all the deeds they performed 30:15 will crumble on the Day of Judgment. In 30:19 this world, if they do good even 30:20 without faith, they will receive the 30:22 reward for their kindness. But because 30:26 they did not believe in Allah, did not 30:29 believe in the Hereafter, His 30:31 messengers, or the books that Allah 30:33 provided as their guide, they chose to 30:36 live far from Allah's guidance; thus, 30:39 all the deeds they performed are in 30:41 vain and useless, like dust blown by 30:44 the wind, scattered and worthless. The 30:48 same applies to the deeds of someone 30:50 who does good but not for the sake of 30:51 Allah, Mas Krishna. 30:52 Hmm. They do good not for the sake of 30:56 pride, to be noticed, or to gain titles 31:00 and fame. In this world, they get what 31:03 they want, but in the Hereafter, they 31:05 will not receive even the slightest 31:07 reward for the good deeds they 31:08 performed because it was not for Allah. 31:14 Now, this also includes those who 31:15 abandon prayer yet still perform good 31:17 deeds. Prayer is the pillar of religion 31:21 . As-salatu imaduddin. Prayer is the 31:26 pillar of religion. Man aqomaha faqad 31:29 aqomad-din. Whoever establishes it, 31:33 performs it, means they establish their 31:35 religion. Waman tarakaha faqad 31:37 hadamad-din. Those who abandon prayer 31:39 have effectively demolished their 31:40 religion. So, once they abandon prayer, 31:44 which is the most essential obligation, 31:47 any good deeds they do in this world 31:50 might be rewarded here. But on the Day 31:53 of Judgment, they will not receive any 31:54 reward for them. However, if they 31:57 repent and improve themselves, God 31:59 willing, the past will also become what 32:01 ? A deposit of good for themselves. And 32:04 repentance wipes away past sins. 32:07 Meanwhile, past good deeds are not 32:08 forgotten by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 32:10 This is the mercy of Allah, the Most 32:12 Compassionate. Wallahu a'lam (Allah 32:14 knows best). 32:14 Alright, next from Mr. Luthfi in 32:16 Yogyakarta. Peace be upon you, Ustaz 32:17 Husin. And peace be upon you too. 32:19 In Surah Ash-Shura verse 50, it is said 32:22 He renders barren whomever He wills. My 32:25 question is, is being barren a destiny? 32:29 Isn't Allah the Most Compassionate and 32:30 Merciful, and does He always provide 32:32 the best for His creatures? Yes, in the 32:35 verse, e, 50. 32:38 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 32:39 , the Most Merciful. Rabbana zidna ' 32:42 ilman walhiqna bis-salihin. Allah 32:46 Subhanahu wa ta'ala made this worldly 32:48 life a testing ground, Mas Krishna. As 32:52 a field of 32:52 trials. 32:53 As a testing ground. Meaning it is not 32:59 the final life where people will 33:05 receive their rewards for goodness 33:08 perfectly. And will receive their 33:12 punishment for the evils they committed 33:14 perfectly as well. But the world is a 33:18 testing ground. Allah created humans 33:22 with different conditions. There are 33:25 those who are white, there are those 33:26 who are black. There are those who are 33:28 handsome, there are those who are 33:29 beautiful. There are those who are rich 33:32 , there are those who are poor. Is the 33:38 handsome one? Are the white or the 33:41 beautiful more noble than those who are 33:44 not handsome or not beautiful? 33:47 Certainly not. This is not the 33:48 benchmark of nobility. The benchmark of 33:51 nobility is not one's lineage, not 33:54 one's race, not one's skin color, and 33:56 not even what? Their wealth, but their 33:59 faith and their piety. If in this world 34:02 they believe, fear Allah, and perform 34:04 righteous deeds, they are the ones who 34:06 will succeed. But those who are 34:09 glorified in worldly life, who are 34:11 given worldly pleasures, given 34:13 handsomeness or beauty, but they have 34:16 no faith and are ungrateful, they will 34:19 receive punishment and Allah's wrath. 34:23 So Allah explains that He tests humans 34:26 with things they like and things they 34:30 dislike as a trial, to separate the 34:33 good and noble from those who are 34:36 disobedient and ungrateful. So, for 34:41 example, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 34:43 chooses for some of His servants to be 34:45 fertile and others to be infertile. 34:49 Even Prophet Zakariya, throughout his 34:51 life, was...Until old age, he remained 34:54 infertile. Likewise, his wife only 34:57 received a child in her old age. So too 35:01 , the Prophet of Allah Ibrahim waited a 35:02 long time for a child. In fact, the 35:07 trials of the Prophets were heavier 35:08 than ours. Like Ibrahim facing the fire 35:11 , and Ibrahim leaving his wife and 35:13 child in a desolate land. Likewise, 35:16 Ibrahim was commanded to slaughter his 35:18 son. These are all tests that will 35:21 determine a person's nobility or 35:22 disgrace. Those who are obedient to 35:25 Allah, grateful, and do good deeds, 35:28 they are the noble ones. Meanwhile, 35:31 those who are disobedient and 35:32 ungrateful to Allah are the disgraced 35:34 ones. Now, I would like to ask you, Mas 35:36 Krisna. If Allah wills for someone, say 35:39 , to not have children. 35:42 Wa ja'alu man yasyau aqima, Allah makes 35:46 some of those He wills infertile. 35:52 Perhaps they feel this is a shortcoming 35:55 . 35:56 Others are given fertility while they 35:58 are 35:58 not. 35:59 Whereas perhaps if they had children, 36:02 it might bring burdens or loss upon 36:06 them. 36:06 Yes. Like some people are rich, and 36:09 some are poor. There are some people 36:13 who, if they live in poverty, will do 36:16 what? They will distance themselves 36:17 from Allah. But when given wealth, they 36:21 become obedient, good, and generous 36:23 people. There are others, Mas Krisna, 36:29 who live in modest conditions. If they 36:32 are given wealth, they forget Allah 36:33 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So these trials, 36:37 if we reflect on them together, have 36:39 wisdom behind everything we see and 36:42 experience. Wa asa an takrahu syai'an 36:45 wahuwa khairul lakum. Wa asa an tuhibbu 36:47 syai'an wahuwa syarrul lakum, wallahu 36:49 ya'lamu wa antum la ta'lamun. There is 36:53 a story, Mas Krisna, a true story. 36:56 One person was diligent in going to the 36:58 musala, praying the five daily prayers 37:00 faithfully, Always at home, performing 37:04 tahajud prayers and worship diligently. 37:08 Living hand-to-mouth, even staying with 37:11 his in-laws. One day he received news 37:16 that there was an inheritance left by 37:19 his grandfather. Yeah. 37:21 In Singapore, Mas Kris, not Indonesia. 37:23 Yes, Singapore. 37:24 Right? Uh, the protection of 37:26 inheritance rights in Singapore is 37:27 quite what? Quite neat. Finally, when 37:30 traced, it turned out he was one of the 37:33 heirs. Eventually, when the land that 37:37 was the inheritance was taken over by 37:40 the government. He got an inheritance, 37:42 going from having no money to becoming 37:44 a rich man, Mas Krishna. 37:45 Yeah. 37:46 Since that moment, he forgot about the 37:48 prayer room he used to frequent. What? 37:50 Diligent, right? 37:51 Then his diligent worship at home also 37:53 started to what? Once he received the 37:56 money, he forgot. Finally, he started 37:59 having fun here and there. Eventually, 38:02 his habits made it difficult for him to 38:04 return to his previous state of 38:05 diligently praying at the mosque and 38:07 worshipping Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 38:10 So we must know that behind Allah's 38:13 decree and will, there are immense 38:16 lessons. Now, here we should accept and 38:20 be grateful for what Allah gives. Be 38:24 patient when we say we are in a tight 38:26 or lacking condition. And believe that 38:30 patience will open the door to Allah's 38:32 mercy and forgiveness. Gratitude will 38:34 increase Allah's blessings. So let us 38:37 never complain. But that doesn't mean 38:40 we just sit idle and not strive, Mas 38:42 Kristana. We strive and be grateful for 38:45 what Allah provides through our efforts 38:48 . Because many people are lying down, 38:51 unable to strive. Birds do not have a 38:54 monthly salary, Mas Krishna. 38:56 Yeah. 38:57 Do not have a place to work. But it 39:00 turns out, in the morning, they go out 39:03 with their crop empty. In the evening, 39:06 they return to their nests bringing 39:08 food for their children and spouse. 39:12 Therefore, in a hadith, there is an 39:13 interesting thing," if you... "' laakum 39:18 tawakaltumqi larquum" khuhu, if you 39:31 truly rely on Allah with true reliance, 39:33 surely Allah will provide you with 39:36 sustenance. That morning, the bird went 39:39 out with an empty crop. When it 39:41 returned, its food was full, and it 39:43 even brought food for its family. But 39:47 unfortunately, this materialistic human 39:49 has forgotten. Forgotten Allah 39:54 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. As if there is no 39:56 Allah. As if this life depends only on 39:59 his efforts. Even though his heart 40:01 wouldn't beat just by his efforts. His 40:04 heart and all his body organs work with 40:06 the permission of Allah Subhanahu wa 40:08 ta'ala. So let us never forget Allah. 40:11 Let us always internalize "iyaka 40:13 na'budu wa iyaka nastain." Hasbiallah 40:16 wanikmal wakil. Nikmal maula wanikman 40:18 nasir. Wallahu'alam. One more. 40:20 Alright. Next. From...What is this? 40:28 From Luthfi Ais in Tanjung Karang. 40:31 Greetings. 40:32 Waalaikumsalam. 40:33 There is something I want to ask about 40:34 the inventor of electricity, Thomas 40:36 Alva Edison. Thanks to his invention, 40:38 the world became bright. People can 40:39 recite the Quran at night, and Makkah 40:41 and Madinah also became bright thanks 40:42 to the electricity he invented. What I 40:44 want to ask is, what will their life be 40:46 like in the afterlife, since they have 40:48 provided so much benefit, do they enter 40:50 heaven or what happens? From Luthfi in 40:53 Tanjung Karang. 40:54 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 40:55 , the Most Merciful. Akh Luthfi in 40:57 Tanjung Barat. First of all, we must 41:02 understand and believe that Allah is 41:04 most compassionate and most merciful. 41:07 Allah is also all-knowing and all-wise. 41:13 Allah is all-knowing and all-wise. 41:16 Allah sent His messengers, revealed His 41:18 books, and provided warnings to mankind 41:21 . If they have heard the warnings from 41:26 Allah and the glad tidings but rejected 41:28 them, and did not respond at all, then 41:33 they naturally fall into the category 41:35 of those who are disbelievers. "Kafir" 41:40 means covering the truth. Because the 41:41 word "kafarah yakfuru" means to cover. 41:44 They refuse to accept the truth and 41:47 choose to follow their own desires. So, 41:51 for the good deeds done in this worldly 41:54 life, they will receive their reward 41:57 from Allah. 41:59 But once they return to Allah in the 42:01 hereafter, because they did not believe 42:03 in Allah, the Last Day, or the Book 42:05 that served as their life guide, they 42:07 will not receive a reward for what they 42:09 did. 42:13 Newton and many of his peers, including 42:15 Albert Einstein, were people who 42:16 provided immense benefits to humanity. 42:22 But we do not know if they ever heard 42:24 the warnings and guidance from Allah 42:26 Subhanahu wa ta'ala that reached them. 42:33 If Newton, Albert Einstein, and those 42:36 who contributed to humanity had heard 42:38 the truth, or if they sought the truth 42:41 and discovered that behind the universe 42:44 there is indeed the One and Only Allah 42:47 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. They would have 42:51 followed the truth they found, perhaps 42:54 because there was no one there to guide 42:56 them. Naturally, people like this are 43:02 different from those who deny the truth 43:04 . As for their fate in the hereafter, 43:07 naturally, I myself do not even know my 43:10 own fate in the afterlife, let alone 43:12 speak about the fate of others. I, as 43:15 an ustaz who reads the Quran, studies 43:18 it, and conveys it, I do not know what 43:20 my fate will be in the afterlife. But I 43:24 am certain that Allah is all-knowing, 43:26 all-wise, and all-just, and I realize 43:27 my own shortcomings; my sins far 43:29 outweigh my good deeds. 43:33 And in a narration, Imam Ali says that 43:35 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala will first 43:37 ask the scholars, "Have you conveyed 43:39 Allah's message?" before asking the 43:42 common people. "Why did you not learn?" 43:45 It is the scholars who will be 43:46 questioned. 43:47 So, I do not know what Newton's 43:50 condition was in what...in his 43:52 environment, his education, whether he 43:55 ever heard the warnings that came from 43:58 Allah. Was he someone who searched for 44:01 the truth? Because according to what I 44:03 have heard, Newton, before he became a 44:09 famous person, happened to live during 44:12 a time of a pandemic. H 44:17 Not COVID like today, but the Black 44:19 Death, where almost half, and some even 44:21 say two-thirds of the people of Europe 44:23 perished because of that plague. He 44:26 stayed home a lot; subhanallah, from 44:28 there he conducted his research. He 44:31 conducted 44:31 research. 44:32 Research, and his notes were found, his 44:35 scribbles, which show that he was 44:38 heading toward faith. But I have never 44:42 experienced it directly, I have never 44:43 met Newton, I don't know about him 44:45 personally. What is clear is that if 44:48 anyone has received a warning or 44:49 guidance from Allah and rejects it, 44:51 there is no hope for salvation. As for 44:54 goodness in this world, Allah will 44:55 reward it. But whoever listens to the 45:01 warning, who has received guidance and 45:04 then follows it, they will be saved. Or 45:07 someone who has never heard the good 45:09 news from Allah nor the warning, but 45:11 they seek the truth. They find the One 45:13 True God. Naturally, such a person will 45:17 be treated specially by Allah, and 45:19 Allah knows best how to treat people 45:20 like them. And let us never assume that 45:23 we are people who are guaranteed 45:25 salvation. We are not the ones who 45:28 determine who enters heaven or enters 45:30 the fires of hell. Hmm. 45:32 We strive toward Allah's pleasure, 45:35 walking on His path 45:37 with the hope of His mercy and 45:38 forgiveness. But to guarantee ourselves 45:41 as people who are definitely saved, God 45:43 forbid. We do not have the audacity for 45:45 that. 45:46 We know ourselves, we know our sins, 45:48 our negligence. But with Allah's mercy 45:52 as our hope, hopefully, Allah will 45:54 forgive our sins through our repentance 45:56 , bestow His mercy and guidance upon us 45:58 , and keep us away from arrogance and 46:00 denial. So regarding Newton, Allah 46:05 knows best. What is clear is that if he 46:08 did good deeds without having faith, 46:10 Allah has already rewarded his goodness 46:12 . His name is recorded as a famous 46:15 person, yes. And we don't know what he 46:17 experienced in his life. Likewise, I 46:20 heard that Albert Einstein once had a 46:22 dialogue with a great Islamic scholar. 46:24 There was correspondence between them, 46:27 and some say that he believed. But how 46:30 reliable is this news? God knows best. 46:33 Because we know that the media often 46:35 spreads hoaxes. 46:36 Hmm. 46:38 If we look at Islamic media, even on 46:40 YouTube, many hoaxes are spread. We 46:44 don't dare to be certain. But what is 46:46 clear is to be convinced that God is 46:48 most just, most wise, all-knowing, most 46:50 compassionate, and most merciful. It is 46:52 impossible for Allah to act unjustly 46:55 toward His servants. So let us leave 46:58 Newton, Albert Einstein, and the 47:00 inventors, we leave them all to the 47:02 most just Allah. But remember ourselves 47:06 , if we receive guidance and do not 47:09 follow it, if we act in denial and 47:11 arrogance, assuming as if we hold a 47:13 monopoly on the truth, be careful, this 47:16 could cause us to slip and plunge us 47:18 into the wrath of Allah Subhanahu wa 47:20 ta'ala. Glory be to You, O Allah, and 47:23 with Your praise, I bear witness that 47:24 there is no god but You, I seek Your 47:26 forgiveness and repent to You. And I 47:27 apologize to you all. May the peace, 47:29 mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon 47:30 you. 47:31 And upon you be the peace, mercy, and 47:32 blessings of Allah. Praise be to God. 47:33 Thank you, Ustaz Husin, for the answer. 47:35 Alright, before we close, there are 47:38 several announcements we must read, 47:40 which is that on Tuesday, July 28, 47:43 there will be Pasduk treatment, back 47:46 tapping, reflexology, and others. 47:49 Please come and register first with Abi 47:52 Agus at 0817176762 331. Then on 47:59 Wednesday, July 22nd, we will have a 48:02 prayer gathering for both the gentlemen 48:06 and ladies. It is not just for the 48:09 ladies, but for the gentlemen as well, 48:12 with our guest speaker, our teacher 48:14 Senin Bina Hamid Nalatas, on the theme 48:16 of leaning on the Almighty to find 48:18 peace amidst uncertainty. I am Muhammad Krishna, and then, uh, 48:37 Atep and Algi, we ask to excuse 48:38 ourselves. Wabillahi taufik walhidayah. 48:40 Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi 48:41 wabarakatuh. Yeah.
