Peace be upon you, and 1:00 Allah's mercy and blessings. 1:01 And peace be upon you too. 1:01 Brothers and sisters who are blessed by 1:03 Allah. We are very happy this Thursday 1:05 to meet with you again for our special 1:07 program, Reflections Under the Shade of 1:09 the Qur'an. For the edition of 1:12 September 3, 2026, which also coincides 1:16 with the 21st day of this noble month, 1:19 Rabiul Awal 1448 Hijriah. Alhamdulillah 1:23 , our teacher has arrived in the studio 1:24 . Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:26 and blessings, Ustaz. 1:27 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:29 mercy and blessings. 1:31 Before we begin our reflections under 1:33 the shade of the Qur'an this morning, 1:35 we share sad news that someone has 1:37 passed away. Umi Tati Husnati binti 1:43 Tubagus Shohibul Burhan. She was 1:48 the wife of one of our fighters, Ustaz 1:52 Ahmad Sobri Lubis, the General Chairman 1:55 of DTN Persada 212. According to 2:00 information, Umi Tati passed away last 2:03 night at 2:50 AM, Western Indonesian 2:08 Time, at Siti Asih Hospital, Serang, 2:10 Banten. That is the sad news I wish to 2:14 convey once again. Please offer your 2:16 prayers, Ustaz, 2:17 for the passing of Umi Tati Husnati 2:20 binti Tubagus Shohibul Burhan, who 2:24 is the wife of KH Ahmad Sobri Lubis. 2:29 General Chairman of DTN Persada 212, 2:32 one of our fighters, MashaAllah, Ustaz 2:34 Sobri, of the Islamic brotherhood. 2:37 Ustaz, please offer your prayers, Ustaz 2:39 , for 2:39 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 2:41 , the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah 2:43 , Lord of the worlds. O Allah, send 2:47 blessings, peace, and grace upon Your 2:49 servant and messenger, our master and 2:52 prophet Muhammad, and upon his family 2:54 and companions. O Allah, we turn to You 2:59 by Your beautiful names, by Your 3:02 greatest and supreme name, which if one 3:04 calls upon You with it, You answer, if 3:07 asked with it, You give, if one seeks 3:10 forgiveness with it, You forgive, and 3:12 if one seeks mercy with it, You bestow 3:15 mercy. Forgive us and our brothers who 3:21 have preceded us in faith, and forgive 3:25 our sister, the wife of KH Ahmad Sobri 3:31 Lubis, Ibu Tati. We ask You, our Lord, 3:38 to forgive her, have mercy on her, 3:40 judge her with an easy judgment, and 3:42 make her grave a garden from the 3:44 gardens of Paradise, and place her in 3:50 Your spacious Paradise with those whom 3:53 You have blessed. Amen. Our Lord, 4:03 accept from us, for You are the 4:04 All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, and turn 4:06 to us, for You are the Oft-Forgiving, 4:07 the Most Merciful. And praise be to 4:09 Allah, Lord of the worlds. 4:11 Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen, O Lord of the 4:13 worlds. Yes, we, the entire Radio 4:15 Silaturahim family, express our 4:17 condolences to all the family, 4:19 relatives, friends, and the 4:21 congregation of the deceased, Ustaz. 4:24 If I recall correctly, she was still in 4:26 communication with me a month ago, 4:28 Ustaz. She recommended a resource 4:31 person related to a program, if I'm not 4:35 mistaken, about remembering death, 4:37 Ustaz, at that time. MashaAllah, the 4:40 program was quite good. We were still 4:42 in communication, but it turns out 4:44 Allah called her first, Ustaz. May our 4:46 Lord forgive her, InshaAllah. 4:47 Amen. Amen. Amen, O Lord of the worlds. 4:50 Alright, brothers and sisters, let us 4:51 continue. However, beforehand, perhaps 4:53 Ustaz, we should open with the 4:54 recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. We 4:55 invite you, Ustaz. 4:58 I seek refuge in Allah from the 4:59 accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, 5:04 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 5:08 Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, 5:13 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 5:18 Master of the Day of Judgment. You 5:22 alone we worship, and You alone we ask 5:24 for help. Guide us to the straight path 5:30 . The path of those upon whom You have 5:35 bestowed favor. Not of those who have 5:39 evoked [Your] anger or of those who are 5:41 astray. Amen. 5:48 Amen. Amen. Amen, O Lord of the worlds. 5:50 Brothers and sisters, may Allah have 5:51 mercy on you. In the last few days, our 5:54 attention has perhaps been drawn to a 5:57 grand event, Ustaz. That is the 35th 6:01 Congress of Nahdlatul Ulama, which 6:03 proceeded quite solemnly in Jombang. A 6:07 moment of supreme deliberation, Ustaz. 6:10 The highest deliberation of the 6:12 organization, which has now fulfilled 6:15 its mandate to establish new leadership 6:18 for the PBNU 2026-2031 service term. KH 6:25 Miftahul Ahyar has been re-elected as 6:28 Rais Aam, and the new mandate for PBNU 6:31 Chairman goes to KH Abdul Hakim Mahfud, 6:34 or Gus Kikin, as the chairman. Surely, 6:40 this brings great hope for the ummah, 6:42 not just a change in leadership, but 6:45 the direction of NU's service in 6:47 maintaining the well-being of the 6:50 people. Reinforcing religious 6:53 moderation in responding to the 6:55 challenges of the times, both 6:56 nationally and globally. So, Ustaz, how 7:00 do you view the challenges for the 7:02 ummah and the nation ahead? They are 7:06 becoming increasingly complex, right? 7:08 Starting from social and economic 7:10 dynamics at the grassroots level to the 7:12 role of global civilization. What is 7:15 your opinion, Ustaz, regarding this new 7:18 leadership of the largest organization 7:21 in Indonesia? 7:25 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 7:26 , the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah 7:28 , Lord of the worlds. Much praise that 7:34 is good and blessed, as our Lord loves. 7:38 And O Allah, send prayers, peace, and 7:43 blessings upon Your servant and 7:46 messenger, our master and prophet 7:49 Muhammad, and upon his family and 7:51 companions. Exalted are You. You are 8:00 the All-Knowing. There is no power nor 8:04 strength except by Allah, the Most High 8:06 , the Almighty. O Allah, grant us mercy 8:09 from You, teach us beneficial knowledge 8:11 from You, and make us benefit from what 8:13 You have taught us. O Allah, guide us 8:19 to the paths of peace, bring us out of 8:21 darkness into the light, and guide us 8:23 to the straight path. O You who guide 8:29 Your servants. To proceed. Brothers and 8:33 sisters, may Allah have mercy on you. 8:36 Praise be to Allah, we can continue our 8:39 dialogue under the shadow of the Quran. 8:44 Before we start our dialogue, we offer 8:47 congratulations to our brothers, the 8:52 community joined in the largest 8:55 organization in our country, Nahdlatul 8:59 Ulama, which has obtained new leaders. 9:10 May Allah subhanahu wa taala protect 9:12 them so they always remain on the path 9:15 that pleases Allah. Make them leaders 9:20 who can guide the ummah toward Allah 9:23 Subhanahu wa taala and unite on the 9:26 path of Allah. We hope, God willing, 9:30 that with this new leadership, they can 9:33 establish cooperation with other 9:35 Islamic organizations like Muhammadiyah 9:38 , Persis, and others. Likewise with 9:42 other Islamic organizations. Without 9:45 unity, it is impossible for us to 9:47 succeed in our struggle. Without being 9:50 united, it is impossible for the help 9:53 of Allah to come to us. Because the 9:57 promise of Allah Subhanahu wa taala is 10:00 to pour out His mercy upon us when we 10:04 improve fraternal relations in faith 10:07 and fear Him. As the word of Allah 10:11 states: "The believers are but brothers 10:13 , so make settlement between your 10:15 brothers and fear Allah that you may 10:18 receive mercy." Indeed, those who truly 10:23 believe are only those who are brothers 10:25 . Here, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 10:31 defines the characteristics of the 10:34 believers who possess a sense of 10:37 brotherhood in their hearts based on 10:40 faith. Innamal mukminuna ikhwah. Indeed 10:47 , the believers are only those who 10:49 possess a sense of brotherhood among 10:51 them based on faith. Therefore, it 10:54 becomes an obligation for the believers 10:56 . Faaslihu baina akhawaikum. Reconcile 11:00 the relationships between your brothers 11:02 . Wattaqulah. And fear Allah. Do not 11:08 let Satan control our souls to commit 11:14 deeds that contradict the pleasure of 11:18 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala or damage our 11:22 brotherhood with attitudes not based on 11:25 piety to Allah. Then Allah’s promise 11:30 is laallakum turhamun, that you may be 11:32 granted mercy by Allah. Without us 11:35 uniting, without us being brothers, 11:37 working together in the way of Allah, 11:40 it is impossible for us to achieve 11:42 victory. This is the answer as to why 11:46 all this time we in Indonesia have 11:49 never been able to achieve success or 11:51 victory, even though we are the 11:53 majority. Because we do not cultivate 11:57 in our hearts a sense of brotherhood 11:58 based on faith. 12:01 We unite, yes, on the same principles 12:06 as the call of the Prophet Muhammad, 12:09 peace be upon him, which Allah 12:12 commanded to be proclaimed among his 12:14 people. Qul ya ahlal kitab taalau ila 12:20 kalimatin sawain bainana wainakum. Say, 12:24 "O People of the Scripture, this is not 12:27 among fellow believers, but among the 12:30 People of the Scripture." And we also 12:33 are included as what? People of the 12:34 Scripture, right. 12:35 Yes. 12:36 O People of the Scripture, let us come 12:39 together and unite on the same word. 12:45 Then that same word is explained, alla 12:49 na'buda illallah wala nusyrika bihi 12:52 syai'an. We worship none but Allah and 12:57 we do not associate anything with Allah 12:59 . Wala yattakid ba'duna ba'dan arbabam 13:04 min dunillah. And let not some of us 13:08 take others as lords besides Allah. 13:12 Allah is the one we worship and He is 13:15 also the Lord who regulates our lives. 13:18 We follow the rules and guidance that 13:20 come from Allah. We are obligated to be 13:24 together regardless of our background, 13:26 be it NU, Muhammadiyah, Persis, Shia, 13:29 or Sunnah. If we are truly believers, 13:32 we are obligated to say sami'na wa 13:34 ata'na. Regarding what came from Allah 13:39 and what came from the Prophet, peace 13:42 be upon him, which the Ummah has agreed 13:45 upon. So we unite together, submitting 13:53 to what comes from Allah and what comes 13:55 from the Messenger, and truly agreed 13:57 upon as things that came from the 13:58 Messenger. Now, if there are 14:03 differences due to different narrations 14:05 or different understandings, we remain 14:07 broad-minded, not speaking ill of each 14:09 other, mocking each other, or 14:11 belittling each other. We hope that the 14:15 Muslim community in Indonesia, 14:17 including Islamic organizations and 14:19 their leaders, will act maturely. 14:22 Viewing differences of opinion as a 14:24 natural thing. And 14:27 how, through these differences of 14:29 opinion, we take the best that will 14:32 truly lead our community toward success 14:35 and glory. Do not let each side insist 14:39 on inviting others to follow their 14:40 group's opinion. But we choose among 14:44 the opinions and inputs presented to us 14:47 the best one that brings the most 14:49 benefit to the community. Bringing 14:53 benefit to the community. 14:54 community. But in certain matters that 14:58 come from Allah and His Messenger, we 15:00 say, "We hear and we obey." So, we hope 15:05 for the NU community, under this new 15:11 leadership, to work together sincerely 15:14 —from the leaders down to the 15:16 followers—dedicating their loyalty to 15:19 Allah and His Messenger, facing the 15:22 challenges of the times with maturity, 15:25 following the guidance of Allah and the 15:28 Sunnah of His Messenger, and fostering 15:31 cooperation with our brothers from 15:33 Muhammadiyah, Persis, and others. And 15:38 we remind other organizations: do not 15:41 get into the habit of mocking or 15:43 belittling the opinions of others. 15:47 Therefore, use the word "we" for us, 15:50 the Muslims. 15:52 Not "we" that refers only back to our 15:54 own organization, 15:55 but*nahnu*—the Muslims. *Nahnu 16:00 al-muslimin. *I am not saying*nahnu 16:02 al-muslimun*. But*al-muslimin*here 16:06 shows that we are all united, moving 16:09 together toward Allah in a state of 16:13 total submission to Allah Subhanahu wa 16:17 Ta'ala. So, we truly want that when 16:21 someone says "we," it is not limited to 16:24 what? To those who are sheltered under 16:28 their own group. Just as the Messenger 16:31 stood as a witness among his people, 16:33 having delivered the mandate of Allah. 16:37 We want all Islamic organizations, 16:41 including NU, to demonstrate the truth, 16:46 beauty, majesty, and justice of Islam 16:50 through their behavior and actions. The 16:57 same goes for Muhammadiyah and for 16:59 Persis. Let us race, not compete. 17:02 Because competing, besides implying a 17:04 race, also suggests elbowing one 17:06 another. Yes. 17:07 But let us race to attain forgiveness 17:10 from our Lord and the paradise that 17:12 Allah has promised. Allah has promised 17:15 it for those who are pious. 17:17 Not for NU, not for Muhammadiyah, not 17:19 for Persis, not for Shia or Sunnah, but 17:21 for those who are pious. Whoever among 17:24 them believes in Allah and His 17:26 Messenger, striving in the path of 17:30 Allah with full sincerity, they are the 17:32 ones who will receive the promise of 17:33 Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. "Race toward 17:37 forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden 17:39 whose width is like the width of the 17:41 heavens and earth, prepared by Allah 17:44 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for those who are 17:46 pious." So, we hope that all Islamic 17:53 organizations in our country, including 17:56 NU now led by Gus Ikin, will truly be 18:00 able to steer the ship of NU, with its 18:03 massive community, to sail toward Allah 18:06 . Likewise for the ship of Muhammadiyah 18:10 , the ship of Persis, Shia, and Sunnah. 18:13 Know that all of these are not the 18:14 religion itself. 18:16 All of these possess no inherent 18:17 sanctity. True sanctity lies in our 18:20 faith and our piety to Allah. And this 18:24 is what will determine the honor or 18:25 disgrace of a person. So we pray that 18:28 Gus Ikin, along with the entire NU 18:30 community—as well as Muhammadiyah 18:33 with its leadership and all its 18:35 followers—and likewise all other 18:38 Islamic organizations. Let us together 18:41 unite in the path of Allah and struggle 18:44 to truly uphold the word of Allah, and 18:47 stand together to fight the enemies 18:50 that are lurking and surrounding us, 18:52 without questioning what group they 18:55 belong to. 18:57 But based on faith and Islam. And Allah 18:59 knows best. Alright, thank you Ustaz 19:02 for your views regarding the new 19:03 leadership, the new service from 19:06 the new chairman of PBNU, Gus Kikin. 19:09 MashaAllah, may Allah strengthen him, 19:11 Ustaz. 19:12 Amen. Amen. And may his intentions be 19:14 purified, insyaAllah, solely for Allah. 19:16 Amen. Amen. Amen, O Lord of the worlds. 19:18 We also look, Ustaz, to the Ummah as a 19:20 whole, Ustaz. Now, it is stated for the 19:24 Ummah as well, the Rais AM of PBNU also 19:27 stated that economic weakness and 19:29 ignorance are now the roots of the 19:32 Ummah's decline, Ustaz. Now, how does 19:35 the Ustaz view this economic problem? 19:37 Listeners often convey that as well. 19:40 And then the ignorance which as if it 19:41 is indeed 19:43 maintained, Ustaz. 19:45 How does the Ustaz respond to that? In 19:47 the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, 19:48 the Most Merciful. What causes the 19:52 Ummah to fall into ignorance, and 19:57 likewise to fall into weakness, 20:00 especially in the economic field. It 20:04 all goes back to the fact that we have 20:06 forgotten Allah. Allah Subhanahu wa 20:11 ta'ala says in Surah Al-A'raf, "Walau 20:14 anna ahlal qura amanu wattaqau 20:17 lafatahna alaihim barokatim minasamaai 20:20 wal ard." If the people of the lands, 20:25 the people of the cities, believe in 20:27 Allah. Faith is not just believing, 20:32 not just conviction, but belief and 20:34 conviction that is poured out in the 20:37 form of deeds that are in harmony with 20:42 our faith. As Allah teaches through His 20:46 holy book, which is the book of the 20:48 covenant between Allah and us, and also 20:51 through the guidance of our Prophet 20:53 Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. If 20:57 the people of the cities and lands were 21:01 to believe and fear Allah, lafatahna 21:04 alaihim barokatim minasama wal. We 21:09 would surely have opened for them 21:11 blessings from the heavens and the 21:13 earth. Walakin kadzabu. But it turns 21:20 out they denied what came from Allah. 21:24 Ignoring Allah's guidance. They choose 21:26 a lifestyle that is in line with their 21:28 desires. They take from the book of 21:31 Allah what they like. They leave what 21:33 they do not like. So it is not a truly 21:38 pure faith and Islam. Faaknahum bima 21:43 kanu yaksibun. We punished them. We let 21:47 those outside of Islam who are the 21:49 minority rule over them. We also let 21:52 those outside of Islam control their 21:55 economy, and control the natural 21:57 resources of their land. Why? Because 22:01 they do not rely on Allah and integrate 22:04 with His guidance and directions. So 22:07 Allah is not obligated to fulfill His 22:09 promise because they have not yet met 22:12 the conditions to achieve glory and 22:16 victory. And Allah reminds us in Surah 22:20 Muhammad, "Intansurullah yansurkum." If 22:24 you struggle for Allah—the word " 22:26 tansurullah" here does not mean Allah 22:28 needs our help. It means if you 22:31 struggle for the sake of Allah, " 22:32 yansurkum," Allah will definitely grant 22:35 you victory. "Inansurullah yansurkum." 22:40 Now, we ask ourselves, who are we 22:42 struggling for? Even if we use Islamic 22:47 attributes, Quranic attributes, the 22:50 Sunnah of the Prophet, or even Salafi 22:53 names, God does not look at names. 22:57 Instead, God looks at our attitudes and 23:00 deeds. Innallaha la yanzur ila suarikum 23:07 wala ila ajsamikum. God does not look 23:11 at your appearance. Your physical form. 23:15 Walakin yzur ila qulubikum. What God 23:18 pays attention to is your heart and 23:20 soul. If our hearts are illuminated by 23:25 the light of faith, then our speech, 23:28 deeds, and actions will also reflect 23:31 that faith. But if they are ruled by 23:34 worldly desires, then our hearts will 23:38 be swayed away from the truth. Because 23:41 we have made our own desires our god. 23:44 Ultimately, it leads us away from the 23:46 truth. 23:48 Eventually, our eyes, hearing, and 23:50 hearts become closed to receiving the 23:53 truth. As God says, "Have you seen he 23:58 who takes his own desire as his god, 24:01 and God let him go astray due to 24:04 knowledge..."...and sealed his hearing 24:08 and heart. So, our decline, our 24:13 ignorance, our downfall, and our 24:16 weaknesses in various aspects— 24:19 economic, social, and educational—are 24:23 because we are left behind and 24:26 contribute nothing significant. Why? 24:31 Because we have forgotten God; we have 24:33 betrayed God. God commanded us to be 24:38 united. "And hold firmly to the rope of 24:40 Allah all together and do not become 24:41 divided." Yet, we do not do it. 24:46 God also reminded us that as believers, 24:51 we must enjoin good and forbid evil. " 24:56 You are the best nation produced for 24:58 mankind." You are the best of people in 25:01 all aspects. A nation prepared by God 25:07 with characteristics He mentions: "You 25:10 enjoin the good." You strive to always 25:15 invite others toward goodness and 25:17 beautiful, noble, universal values, not 25:19 toward something strange. "And forbid 25:24 the evil." And you strive to fight and 25:27 prevent the spread of evil among us. 25:31 Evil that destroys our lives. "And 25:35 believe in Allah." And the basis of 25:37 your struggle is that you believe in 25:39 God, not out of desire for the world, 25:42 not because you crave fame, but you 25:46 struggle for God, making worldly life 25:49 and your efforts a field to attain 25:53 glory in the Hereafter. And those who 25:58 hope in God, hope for the Hereafter, 26:00 and always remember God, they are the 26:02 ones who receive God's promise and are 26:05 the true followers of the Messenger. 26:08 God says in the Surah Al-Ahzab: "There 26:13 has certainly been for you in the 26:15 Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern 26:17 ." Truly, truly, what......for you in 26:24 the person of the Messenger. In the 26:28 life of the Prophet, there is the best 26:31 of examples. And...... 26:33 for whom? "For anyone who hopes in 26:36 Allah." This example can only be 26:40 followed and imitated by those who hope 26:42 in God, not those who hope for the 26:43 world. The world is not the goal. The 26:47 world is only a tool used to seek God's 26:50 pleasure. Then, "and the Last Day." And 26:55 living in this world means prioritizing 26:58 what is with God. Not the other way 27:01 around, where religion is used for the 27:03 world. And remembering God often; only 27:07 then will he be able to emulate the 27:09 Messenger. Those who desire the world, 27:14 those who prioritize worldly life over 27:17 the hereafter, do not expect such 27:20 people to be truly capable of fighting 27:23 for and leading the Ummah toward 27:26 success and glory. We must realize that 27:31 although we are a Muslim-majority 27:33 nation, we are openly betraying Allah 27:35 for the most part, 27:37 betraying His messenger, and betraying 27:40 our nation and country. Aren't most of 27:43 the corruptors Muslims? 27:45 Yes. 27:46 Do not let those outside of Islam say 27:48 that corruption is encouraged or 27:50 permitted by the Islamic religion. That 27:52 is not true. The majority who hold 27:57 power, and even our Islamic 27:59 organizations which are so vast in 28:01 number, are predominantly Muslim. 28:07 So our decline is caused by the fact 28:09 that we have forgotten Allah. Whereas 28:14 in Surah At-Tawbah, Allah provides a 28:16 picture of an Islamic society—a 28:19 compact, harmonious, and cooperative 28:21 society. The strong protect the weak, 28:26 the rich support the poor, and the 28:28 learned provide education to those in 28:31 need. They do not aim for material gain 28:35 , but for Allah’s pleasure and 28:36 provisions for the hereafter. Wal 28:40 mukminun wal mukminat ba'duhum auliyau 28:44 ba'din. This is a truly beautiful image 28:46 . The believers. Some of them—wal 28:53 mukminuna wal mukminat—the believers, 28:55 both men and women. Ba'duhum, some of 28:59 them are auliyau ba'din, protectors and 29:03 helpers of one another. Allah 29:07 distributes different potentials to all 29:09 of mankind. 29:10 H 29:12 Not to boast to one another, not to 29:14 colonize one another, but to cooperate 29:16 in faith and Islam, struggling in the 29:18 way of Allah. But it is a pity, a great 29:23 pity that this is not practiced. 29:26 Whereas this is a fard kifayah. It is 29:28 an obligation that Allah mandates based 29:31 on the potential He has given to every 29:33 person. But if we still desire the 29:38 world, desire greatness, boast to one 29:41 another, or colonize our own brothers, 29:43 then it will naturally lead not to 29:46 success, but to failure. Not to victory 29:49 , but to destruction. Try to imagine, 29:51 Kang Rizal, as well as the listeners at 29:53 home and the viewers. Try to imagine if 29:56 the Muslims in our country—we don’t 29:58 need to look far, just in our own 30:00 country— 30:03 were as Allah described, where men and 30:06 women are protectors, helpers, and 30:08 supporters of one another. Would our 30:12 economy be weak? What is happening 30:17 right now is a lack of cooperation. H 30:20 They do not trust one another when 30:21 cooperating in the economic sector. 30:24 They prefer to deposit their money in 30:26 banks 30:27 rather than working together. Why? 30:29 Because there is no trust among them. 30:32 Because there is no honesty. In the end 30:36 , they prefer to invest their money in 30:41 usurious institutions that are not 30:42 Islamic. And then they hope for Allah 30:45 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala’s mercy and 30:47 victory. It is impossible. So the only 30:50 way is for us to return to Allah. 30:52 Therefore, it is the duty of the 30:54 leaders of Islamic organizations and 30:56 their officials to invite the Ummah to 30:58 return to Allah. But now, they don't 31:00 even believe in the promises of Allah. 31:03 I 31:03 they assume that being a Muslim means 31:06 having to abandon the world. 31:09 Having to live a life of zuhd. 31:11 Asceticism. 31:12 Actually, the idea of leaving the world 31:14 is completely wrong. 31:15 Hm. Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala commands 31:19 us to strive by using whatever Allah 31:22 has given us, be it knowledge, wealth, 31:24 or status, as provisions for the 31:26 hereafter. That is the goal. 31:30 Yes. 31:31 So we don't study just to work, 31:35 and not just for this worldly life 31:36 either. Work is merely a means, a 31:41 vehicle. Is seeking knowledge also what 31:44 ? A means. This worldly life is short 31:47 and fleeting. So Allah has shown us the 31:49 most beautiful path. Use the world for 31:51 your hereafter. 31:53 But do not forget your needs in this 31:55 worldly life. Do not forget your share 31:57 of this world. After that, do good as 31:59 Allah has done good to you. Treat your 32:02 fellow brothers well, just as Allah has 32:05 treated you well. Do not commit 32:11 corruption on the earth. Indeed, Allah 32:13 does not like those who commit 32:14 corruption. Allah does not like those 32:16 who cause corruption. It would be 32:17 enough if that vision of Islamic 32:21 society where believers are guardians 32:23 of one another was applied. Then unity 32:25 would be forged among us. Let us not be 32:28 groups that only care for their own 32:31 kind. Let us not be sects that only 32:35 care for their own kind. Let us not be 32:38 factions that only care for their own 32:40 kind. Let us not be groups that only 32:42 care for their own kind. Because if we 32:44 act this way, we are not worshipping 32:46 Allah or following the guidance of 32:48 Allah and His Messenger; we are 32:49 worshipping idols. 32:50 Yes, 32:51 we are worshipping 32:52 idols. We want the leaders of NU, 32:55 Muhammadiyah, Persis, as well as Shia 32:57 and Sunni leaders to act differently. 33:01 Do not make your organizations the 33:04 idols you worship, but rather a means 33:07 to uphold the word of Allah with love, 33:11 racing toward goodness. Do not compete 33:14 in boasting about yourselves. If we do 33:19 this, God willing, success is within 33:21 our reach again. Remember, people in NU 33:24 have no right to judge people in 33:25 Muhammadiyah or Persis over differences 33:28 of opinion. And vice versa. 33:30 Muhammadiyah has no right, Persis has 33:32 no right. The Salafi community, who 33:35 have often judged others, also have no 33:37 right. Bring your arguments, but do not 33:40 judge others on matters where 33:42 differences are acceptable. We will not 33:46 judge the Salafi community either, but 33:48 we will bring forth arguments and 33:50 evidence. If there are differences of 33:53 opinion, having a broad heart will not 33:55 destroy our brotherhood. But if you 33:58 belittle, mock, declare others 34:01 disbelievers, or lead them astray over 34:04 matters of opinion—matters not 34:06 explicitly decreed by Allah or His 34:09 Messenger—that is where we will… 34:12 what? We will become enemies if we act 34:15 as if we are the only ones who are 34:18 right and others are false. This 34:20 disease comes from Satan, 34:22 from Iblis. It is not from the 34:25 Messenger or his Sunnah, but from Satan 34:27 , and not from the companions of the 34:29 Messenger either. Because the 34:30 companions, when they exercised ijtihad 34:32 , 34:33 in matters without explicit texts— 34:35 like Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, whom they 34:38 regard as their predecessor—they were 34:40 not like them. He would say, "This is 34:43 my opinion. If it is from Allah, it is 34:45 true; if it is wrong, it is from me, 34:48 from Satan." these are people or 34:51 figures who lived with the Prophet. The 34:54 same goes for Imam Shafi'i. Imam 34:57 Shafi'i said, "My opinion is correct 35:01 but could be wrong." My opinion is 35:02 correct but it could be wrong. And 35:06 others 'opinions in my view could be 35:08 correct. Others' opinions in my eyes 35:10 are, uh, not quite right, but they 35:12 could be the ones who are correct. They 35:16 did not say that my opinion is the 35:17 truth or the truth is my opinion. No. 35:19 Because the truth is something certain. 35:22 It only comes from Allah Ta'ala. The 35:23 truth comes from your Lord, so do not 35:25 be among the doubters. 35:27 Not from NU, not from Muhammadiyah, not 35:29 from Persis. Differences among these 35:32 groups show that these are differences 35:33 surrounding opinions. Let us try to 35:38 appreciate, respect, and love one 35:39 another, and if we hope for Allah in 35:41 all our work, there will no longer be 35:43 arrogance or pride. Likewise, we will 35:48 no longer be deceived by devils to 35:50 collaborate with oppressive rulers. We 35:53 are together because we work for Allah. 35:55 We call what is oppressive, oppressive. 35:57 We call what is just, just. Now, to 35:59 improve our nation and country, we must 36:01 know what is just and what is false. 36:04 The truth should not be obscured and 36:06 replaced by desires. May Allah protect 36:08 us. 36:08 Alright, Ustaz. Let us read a question 36:10 from Mr. Junaidi, Ustaz, uh, 36:12 asalamualaikum warahmatullahi 36:13 wabarakatuh. Ustaz, um, 36:15 this is regarding the devil, Ustaz. The 36:17 question is, 36:18 uh, is the devil a trait or does it 36:21 truly exist as a creature? Like in 36:24 Surah Al-Anbiya, devils who can dive. 36:28 Does that mean they have a physical 36:30 form like us humans too, Ustaz? Not 36:33 just a trait, is it not just a trait? 36:36 Do they have a form, Ustaz? What does 36:38 the form look like? And can humans see 36:40 the physical form of the devil, from 36:42 Mr. Junaidi? 36:44 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 36:45 , the Most Merciful. We need to remind 36:48 ourselves that everything that comes 36:51 from Allah is goodness. 36:55 But evil comes from us, from our own 36:59 deeds. Allah created the universe with 37:03 perfect balance. He also created humans 37:06 . Their nature, a nature that aligns 37:11 with what? With the truth that is in 37:15 harmony with faith. Jinn are the same. 37:19 Jinn are also creatures that are 37:21 accountable before Allah in the 37:23 hereafter later. As per Allah's word, 37:26 and I did not create the jinn and 37:27 mankind 37:28 except 37:29 except to worship Me. We did not create 37:32 jinn nor mankind except for what? 37:34 To worship. 37:35 To dedicate their lives to Us. Worship 37:39 here is not just prayer, not just 37:41 fasting, but dedicating their lives 37:43 in all aspects of their lives. Now, 37:49 Allah created humans, and also created 37:51 jinn. Then where does the devil come 37:55 from? Are the devil and Iblis created 37:58 by Allah? Not at all. Allah did not 38:03 create the devil, did not create Iblis. 38:06 Why? Because what Allah created were 38:09 jinn and humans. Then there are angels 38:13 who are holy creatures whose status is 38:15 not as caliphs or those burdened with 38:16 religious obligations. 38:20 Where do Iblis and the devil come from? 38:22 The word Iblis means the one expelled 38:25 from Allah's mercy. The devil is also 38:32 an adjective. The adjective can come 38:35 from humans, it can also come from jinn 38:38 . Yes. 38:40 And likewise. We have appointed for 38:44 every prophet. Enemies, devils from 38:48 mankind and jinn. Inspiring one another 38:51 with fancy speech in deception. Thus, 38:55 We have appointed for every prophet an 38:59 enemy. An enemy from among what kind? 39:04 Enemies, the devils from among the jinn 39:07 and mankind, who collaborate to depict 39:10 the rotten, to describe or present 39:12 things that contradict Allah's pleasure 39:15 in a beautiful, attractive appearance. 39:19 Whereas the truth that comes from Allah 39:22 is presented in an ugly appearance. We 39:26 see here "shayatin al-insi wal-jinn." 39:30 So these devils originate from among 39:33 the jinn and mankind. Where did Iblis 39:37 come from? Allah says in Surah Al-Kahf. 39:40 And when We said to the angels, " 39:42 Prostrate to Adam," so they prostrated, 39:44 except Iblis. When We said to all the 39:51 angels, "Prostrate to Adam," as a test 39:55 to see if they would submit to Allah, 39:57 or if they would behave arrogantly. So 40:01 actually, their prostration of worship 40:03 was to 40:04 to Allah. " 40:05 Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated 40:07 . All the angels prostrated except 40:11 Iblis. What was the origin of the 40:14 angels? He was actually of the jinn. He 40:17 originated from the jinn nation. He 40:19 disobeyed the command of his Lord. So, 40:24 he disobeyed the command of his Lord. 40:27 So initially, this jinn lived among the 40:30 angels; they even knew their Lord, they 40:33 knew what we do not know of the angelic 40:35 realm. But because they were arrogant, 40:38 they were cast out from Allah's mercy. 40:40 Even though they previously worshipped 40:41 alongside the angels. Now, humans, as 40:47 we know, originate from what? From our 40:51 grandfather Adam and Eve, who were 40:52 created by Allah and originated from 40:54 clay. Now, this origin is what made 40:57 Iblis boast; he was previously a jinn 41:01 and even was what? A leader of the jinn 41:03 . "Shall I prostrate to the one You 41:06 created?" How can I prostrate before a 41:08 being You created from clay? "I am 41:10 better than him." I am better than him. 41:15 He did not realize that it is not 41:16 because of one's origin, not because of 41:18 one's lineage, not because of one's 41:19 tribe, not because of one's nation, 41:21 because everything is Allah's creation. 41:25 But nobility is based on faith, piety, 41:27 and submission to Allah Subhanahu wa 41:28 ta'ala. So, to the questioner, Allah 41:32 never created Iblis or devils. Allah 41:35 created jinn, humans, and angels. Now, 41:39 among the jinn, there are those who are 41:41 what? Those who are rebellious and 41:43 disobedient. 41:46 So they fall into the category of what? 41:50 Beings that stand as what? As opponents 41:57 of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Likewise, 42:01 among humans, there are those who do 42:03 not follow their grandfather Adam, but 42:05 they follow the devils, they follow 42:07 Iblis. Yes, following Iblis. 42:11 They are carried away by worldly life, 42:13 prioritizing their pleasures, 42:14 committing crimes, and spreading 42:15 corruption on earth. Therefore, the 42:18 word "Iblis" does not only apply to 42:20 what? To the jinn who first opposed 42:24 Allah and refused to prostrate to Adam. 42:27 But a person who has the same character 42:29 can be called an Iblis, 42:33 someone who hinders people from doing 42:35 good, invites them to evil, and acts 42:36 arrogantly and proudly. We can also say 42:39 "anta setan"(you are a devil) to a 42:41 human whose behavior is like a demon or 42:44 a devil. Now, the word "setan" can be 42:47 derived from the word "sataha," you see 42:49 . 42:50 It can also come from the word "satan," 42:53 both of which indicate a negative 42:56 meaning that can imply burning or 42:58 something that deviates from the truth. 43:02 So, actually, the words "iblis"(devil) 43:05 and "setan"(demon) are adjectives. 43:07 Adjectives. 43:08 Likewise, "ifrit" is also an adjective. 43:11 It can apply to humans; it can apply to 43:13 jinns. "Anta ifrit" describes genius or 43:16 high intelligence. " 43:17 Ifritun minal jin" means the geniuses 43:20 among the jinns. So, Allah Subhanahu wa 43:25 ta'ala never created "iblis" or "setan" 43:27 per se. But Allah created humans and 43:31 jinns, and also the good angels from 43:34 among the jinns and humans. They are 43:37 pious and righteous servants, but those 43:40 who are depraved, corrupted, rebellious 43:42 , and defiant, they fall into the 43:44 categories of "iblis" and "setan." 43:47 Wallahu'alam (Allah knows best). 43:48 So regarding their form and physical 43:50 state, wallahu'alam, it is already 43:51 morning. 43:52 The word "jinn" in Arabic describes 43:54 something that is invisible. Yeah. 43:58 Therefore, even the night, when it 44:00 arrives, it is said "falamma janna ' 44:02 alaihil lailu." If "al-ins"(humans) in 44:05 Arabic, the word "anasa" means to see. 44:08 " 44:08 Inni anastu naran" means I witness a 44:10 fire. 44:11 So humans see each other, right? 44:14 But regarding the jinn, they are unseen 44:15 beings. 44:16 Which cannot be seen by everyone. But 44:19 some people can see them, like Solomon 44:21 (Sulaiman), for example. 44:22 Yes. He had an army from among the 44:24 jinns that would dive into the ocean. 44:27 Yes. 44:27 That was a miracle of Prophet Solomon, 44:29 Ustadz. Yes. 44:30 That was a miracle Allah granted as 44:31 proof of the truth. 44:32 But is it possible for an ordinary 44:34 person, Ustadz? 44:34 An ordinary person, if Allah gives them 44:36 , gives them what? If He gives the 44:37 ability to see, they might be able to 44:39 see. 44:39 Yes. 44:40 But I myself have never seen a jinn. 44:42 Never what? Seen a jinn. Meaning I 44:45 don't have the ability in that regard. 44:47 I see. Now, many people cooperate with 44:51 jinns, Kang Rizal. 44:52 H. 44:53 Making what? They think of making jinns 44:57 their "khadam," their servants. 44:59 Whereas in reality, they are not 45:01 servants; they are being exploited by 45:02 the jinns. Eventually, a symbiosis of 45:04 mutualism occurs. 45:06 Mutually beneficial. Humans follow the 45:09 jinns' requests. 45:10 H. 45:11 The jinns also fulfill what humans want 45:13 using their abilities. Therefore, in 45:15 the hereafter, Allah will say, "Ya 45:18 ma'syaral jinn qadistakhtartum minal 45:22 ins." O community of jinn, you have 45:26 misled many humans. "Qulu rabbana minal 45:31 ins...""Our Lord," their allies among 45:35 humans will say, "Our Lord, we have 45:38 cooperated for mutual benefit in the 45:40 worldly life." Finally, they— 45:46 na'udzubillah—those who perform such 45:48 acts will become inhabitants of hell, 45:50 remaining there forever. Because of 45:53 what? Because they did not fulfill 45:56 their duty to serve Allah. They misused 45:59 the potential Allah gave them for acts 46:01 of shirk, for actions that are not 46:02 right. Shamans come to them to be asked 46:06 to perform deeds that are not righteous 46:09 . Such as spreading black magic, 46:14 performing love spells, and so on. 46:18 Can this sorcery actually happen? How 46:20 does it happen? It happens by Allah's 46:23 permission, and usually to those whose 46:25 hearts are dominated by shirk and 46:27 worldly desires. "Innaka laisa laka 46:30 alaihim sultan.""You, O jinn, have no 46:34 authority over them, except what?"" 46:37 Except for those who serve the devil." 46:40 So, if someone is struck by sorcery or 46:43 negative influences, these are things 46:46 that can happen to those whose hearts 46:49 do not surrender to Allah. Now, if 46:53 people claim that the Prophet was once 46:55 struck by magic, that is false 46:57 information that contradicts the Quran 46:59 and even supports the claims of the 47:01 disbelievers who said the Prophet was 47:03 bewitched. "In tattabiuna illa rajulan 47:06 mashur." And strangely, it is said that 47:09 the Prophet was affected by magic for a 47:11 month, that he did things while feeling 47:13 like he didn't, until he experienced 47:15 disturbances. This is impossible to 47:19 happen to a prophet and messenger who 47:20 is guarded by Allah in delivering His 47:22 message. When the Quran descends, it is 47:26 guarded by angels, and the jinn cannot 47:29 eavesdrop; so why would the Prophet be 47:32 struck by magic? This is truly an 47:36 Israeli narration that we must strictly 47:39 reject. So, those who believe are under 47:43 Allah's protection, but those who are 47:45 polytheists, those who follow their 47:46 desires, these are the ones easily 47:48 affected by magic. Wallahu a'lam. 47:50 Alright, Ustaz. One more thing, Ustaz. 47:52 Regarding the time, Ustaz, there is a 47:53 question from a servant of Allah. 47:55 Actually, you have explained it before 47:56 at that time, 47:57 Ustaz. Why are the disbelievers 48:00 declared to enter hell? Even though 48:02 they were born into disbelieving 48:04 families, which was not their choice 48:06 either, Ustaz. Thank you. 48:08 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 48:09 , the Most Merciful. The answer to this 48:13 question: if someone is born among the 48:16 Muslims, or even as the child of a 48:18 prophet, or a kyai, or a scholar, are 48:21 they definitely a believer? Is it 48:25 certain? 48:25 Not necessarily. Ustaz, 48:26 Prophet Noah’s child was a 48:27 disbeliever. 48:29 Prophet Noah’s wife was a disbeliever 48:30 . He lived for a very long time. 48:33 Prophet Noah lived for 950 years. Then, 48:38 Prophet Lot’s wife was a disbeliever. 48:42 Is that right? 48:42 Yes. 48:44 But conversely, Pharaoh’s wife was a 48:46 believer even though she was in a 48:48 disbelieving environment. We must know 48:52 that the word "kafaro yakfuru" means to 48:54 deny. 48:56 That indicates the meaning of rejection 48:58 . Denying something that has already 49:01 been known and understood, that is what 49:03 is called "kafarah." Therefore, Allah 49:06 says: "Innalladzina kafaru sawaun 49:09 alaihim a'an-zartahum am lam tunzirhum 49:11 la yu'minun.""As for those who 49:14 disbelieve, whether you warn them or do 49:16 not warn them, they will never believe. 49:19 " The meaning of this verse is those 49:22 who have already received guidance and 49:24 truth. Whether a Messenger comes 49:27 reciting the verses of Allah and 49:29 providing enlightenment, they then 49:31 reject the truth that they have already 49:33 known. It is useless. Whether you give 49:35 them a warning or not, they will not 49:36 believe. "Innama tunziru 49:38 manittaba'a-dzikra...""...wa 49:43 khasyiyar-Rahmana bil-ghaib." Indeed, 49:45 those who will accept your warning and 49:47 your guidance are what? Those whose 49:50 hearts fear Allah, even if no one is 49:52 what? Even if there is no one watching 49:57 them. He is alone; his heart, out of 49:59 fear of Allah, prevents him from doing 50:02 wrong. Man khasiyar-rahman bil-ghaib. 50:07 Then, innamatundziru 50:08 manittaba'adz-dzikra wa khasiyar-rahman 50:09 bil-ghaib. Indeed, you give warnings, 50:14 and your warning will be welcomed by 50:16 those who listen and fear Allah in the 50:19 unseen, even when far from the reach of 50:21 human eyes. Give glad tidings to such 50:25 people of forgiveness and a very noble 50:27 reward. But if a person knows the truth 50:31 and rejects it, like the devil, for 50:33 example. Does the devil know the truth? 50:36 He does. 50:36 Does he know Allah is his Lord? 50:38 He said, "Rabbi anzirni ila yaumi 50:40 yub'atsun.""My Lord, respite me until 50:42 the day they are resurrected." 50:45 He even knows more about Allah, about 50:46 the realm of the Malakut. 50:50 H 50:52 compared to us; if we only hear the 50:53 news, the devil witnessed it with his 50:55 own eyes, he knows the paradise. Isn't 50:58 that right? 51:01 Therefore, people, even if they are 51:03 born into families that are not Muslim, 51:09 if they receive guidance and they 51:11 reject the truth, then they are among 51:14 the disbelievers. One is not called a 51:18 disbeliever unless Allah's guidance has 51:21 reached them. 51:24 If he associates partners with Allah, 51:26 he is called a polytheist. But he is 51:29 not called a disbeliever until he hears 51:31 the guidance and then rejects it. 51:35 Therefore, people who have not received 51:37 warnings or guidance are known as Ahl 51:40 al-Fatrah. People who live in an era 51:45 where there is no Messenger. 51:48 How will they be judged? Allah will 51:49 judge them with absolute justice. Are 51:53 these people ready to accept the truth, 51:57 or are they indifferent and careless? 52:01 They only want to follow their own 52:03 desires. In this case, we cannot know 52:07 the ultimate truth. Therefore, Allah is 52:10 the one who will judge them. For 52:12 example, did the Prophet's parents ever 52:14 receive a warning? 52:16 No. 52:16 Were they ever approached by a 52:17 Messenger? No. 52:18 Not yet. Allah says, "litundzira qawman 52:22 ...""...ma undzira aba'uhum...""... 52:29 fahum ghafilun," to give warning, let 52:31 alone his people, their ancestors had 52:33 not received any warning. 52:37 Isn't that right? 52:38 Therefore, the Prophet's parents are 52:43 not included among those who rejected 52:46 the truth; at that time, the Prophet 52:48 had not been sent, and they had never 52:50 heard the Quran. It is different from 52:54 people like Abu Jahl or Abu Lahab, who 52:56 are called disbelievers because when 52:58 the truth came to them, even though 52:59 they were convinced of it, they refused 53:01 to believe. Just as the image Allah 53:04 provides: "wa jahadu biha 53:06 wastaiqanat-ha anfusuhum." They denied 53:08 the truth while their hearts were 53:09 completely convinced. Why? "Zulman wa ' 53:12 uluwwa." Because of their habit of 53:14 doing wrong and being arrogant. 53:16 Corruptors don't lack knowledge of the 53:17 truth. Yeah. 53:18 But because they are used to doing 53:20 wrong, wanting pleasure for themselves, 53:22 plus what else? Arrogance. Ar- 53:24 arrogance. 53:24 Those at the top are mostly arrogant. 53:27 Now, many scholars also collaborate 53:28 with arrogant people to pursue worldly 53:30 gain. So, if I collaborate with the 53:34 rulers above to seek worldly gain, then 53:36 I am an oppressor and also an arrogant 53:39 person before Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 53:41 . Wali-iyadzu billah. May Allah protect 53:44 us, our families, our congregation, and 53:47 our community from such attitudes. So, 53:50 even if someone is born into a 53:52 non-Muslim family, say, living in the 53:54 midst of a Buddhist community, or 53:57 perhaps Catholic, and so on, it is not 54:01 certain they are classified among the 54:04 disbelievers until the truth comes to 54:07 them. Then what is their situation if 54:13 they have never heard of the guidance 54:14 and the truth, especially when 54:15 witnessing the behavior of Muslims that 54:17 does not reflect 54:19 a life so beautiful? Well, let us not 54:21 be the ones to judge them; we leave 54:23 that to Allah, the All-Knowing. What is 54:26 important is the question posed to 54:28 Sheikh Muhammad Ghazali when he was 54:30 asked, "What is your opinion, Sheikh 54:31 Muhammad Ghazali?" What if there is a 54:34 group of people who have never heard 54:36 any guidance or warning at all? "Sheikh 54:39 Muhammad Ghazali answered," That is 54:41 Allah's affair. "" 54:43 How will they be judged? "" Allah is 54:44 the All-Knowing. "But what you should 54:47 ask is, what is the ruling for a group 54:49 that knows another group has never 54:51 received a warning, yet they do not 54:53 provide a warning to them? So, what is 54:57 the ruling for someone like you who 54:59 knows a group has never received a 55:01 warning, yet you do not come to give 55:03 them that warning? In the past, the 55:08 Messenger was the witness, the bearer 55:10 of glad tidings, and the warner. After 55:12 the Prophet passed away, it is we who 55:14 must step forward. Right? 55:16 Right. So, regarding Allah's authority, 55:18 we do not interfere. 55:21 Take me, for example, or Kang Rizal, or 55:24 say the scholars and clerics who have 55:26 been Muslim since childhood. Does that 55:29 guarantee that we 55:30 will be saved in the hereafter? Can we 55:34 guarantee that all our deeds will be 55:35 accepted by Allah? 55:37 Is our charity free from showing off, 55:39 from arrogance? So, we should never, 55:42 what? Be boastful of ourselves. Let 55:44 alone say that we are the saved group 55:45 and everyone else is from the dwellers 55:47 of the fire. Do not be self-righteous. 55:49 Wala tuzakku anfusakum huwa a'lamu 55:51 bimanittaq. Do not claim yourselves to 55:54 be pure. Purifying oneself through 55:57 deeds is necessary, but claiming to be 56:00 pure and saved, do not do that. He 56:03 knows best who is the most righteous 56:05 among us. So, let us do good deeds, 56:08 stay self-aware, always engage in 56:10 self-reflection and mindfulness, 56:11 watching our every move and constantly 56:13 holding ourselves accountable. Is what 56:16 we are doing for the sake of Allah? Are 56:19 we acting in accordance with Allah's 56:20 pleasure or not, so that we do not end 56:22 up with regret in the hereafter? So, 56:25 the conclusion is that Allah will not 56:28 judge people unjustly. Allah will judge 56:31 them in the best possible way. Even 56:33 Pharaoh's wife was granted guidance by 56:35 Allah. Abu Lahab's daughter believed. 56:38 Abu Jahl's son, Ikrimah, believed. Even 56:41 though, what about their fathers? 56:43 Khalid bin Walid believed, even though 56:45 his father, Al-Walid ibn al-Mughirah, 56:47 was a leader 56:49 who led the opposition and defiance 56:50 against the Messenger. So, in this 56:54 matter, we do not have the right to 56:56 determine who is entitled to receive 56:59 guidance and heaven, and who are the 57:01 people who will be cast into hellfire. 57:05 Therefore, hadiths depicting the 57:07 Prophet’s parents as dying as 57:09 disbelievers rely on accounts from 57:11 those who did not witness it at all, 57:14 and they contradict the Qur'an, which 57:16 says" wama kunna muadzibina hatta 57:18 nab'atha rasula. "We will not punish a 57:21 people until We send a messenger. So, 57:26 regarding the Prophet's parents, we 57:27 should act with true respect and 57:28 etiquette. Do not speak without a basis 57:31 of truth because this is not our 57:32 jurisdiction. H 57:34 It is not our jurisdiction, but it 57:36 belongs to the authority of Allah 57:38 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Glory be to You, O 57:41 Allah, and with Your praise, I bear 57:42 witness that there is no god but You, I 57:44 seek Your forgiveness and repent to You 57:45 , and may You pardon us. 57:47 Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi 57:49 wabarakatuh. 57:49 Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 57:51 wabarakatuh.
