Ustaz Kiram Al 3:59 Habib Husein Alatas, Mr. Muhammad 4:04 Krishna Iza, and the asatid present on 4:09 this morning's occasion. On this bright 4:14 morning, we are certainly very grateful 4:17 to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. How many 4:21 blessings Allah has given us. 4:24 Especially we as Muslims are given an 4:30 extraordinary gift, namely by being 4:33 ordered to fast during Ramadan. It 4:38 turns out that fasting during Ramadan 4:41 is a gift, not a torture, not torture 4:44 or being deprived of food all day. In 4:47 fact, it is a gift. Including the 4:49 worship of prayer, it turns out that 4:51 after being studied, everything is a 4:54 blessing from Allah. The form of 4:57 Allah's love, in addition to the 5:00 creation of the universe, which is 5:03 complete in all, even obedience to 5:07 Allah, the sun, the moon, the stars, 5:11 all of it is very extraordinary. In 5:14 fact, it is not predicted from the 5:17 sophistication of the science of 5:20 extortion, for example, one example, it 5:23 can already be estimated. Including for 5:27 example, Shawwal, 1 Shawwal is 5:30 estimated to be around Thursday, the 5:34 13th, 14th. Well, that has already been 5:37 discovered considering the current 5:38 state of technological sophistication. 5:40 These are all the gifts of mercy from 5:42 Allah Subhanahu wa Taala given to us 5:44 Muslims. Including the sharia, yes. 5:49 Islamic Sharia is a very extraordinary 5:51 Shari'a. Even though there are many 5:54 trials for Muslims, it is very, very 5:57 extraordinary. Well, that was one 6:01 example in Surah ee Al-Anbiya, verse 6:03 107, that Allah Subhanahu wa Taala sent 6:05 His Majesty the Prophet Muhammad 6:08 sallallahu alaihi wasallam to be a 6:10 blessing to the whole world. Yes, it is 6:13 included in surah Albaqarah verse 18 as 6:15 well as ee yuridullahu bikumul yusro 6:18 wala yurid bikumul asr. So Allah makes 6:21 things easy for all of us and doesn't 6:25 give us heavy burdens. Including 6:29 perhaps in this study, eh, one aspect 6:31 is that we have to be very grateful to 6:34 Allah Subhanahu wa Taala because Allah 6:37 gives extraordinary grace, provides 6:40 guidance, yes. In detail, yes, starting 6:44 from the rules of Ramadan fasting, 6:47 prayer, and other sharia that provide 6:50 such grace to His servants, to us, 6:53 especially Muslims, yes. Well, there 6:57 may be many problems, of course, Bib, 7:01 right now, ee, because I said that 7:04 Muslims really want to fast during the 7:08 holy month of Ramadan. But sometimes 7:12 there are many obstacles, including 7:15 maybe some are not healthy with various 7:18 diseases, but how can their position be 7:22 counted as fasting during Ramadan? But 7:26 there can be solutions, yes. Including, 7:30 for example, ee, ee, in the context of 7:33 fiqh, we also become anxious, Bib. Uh, 7:37 what is it called? Itchy ears, right? 7:39 If you dig it, it's not pleasant, how 7:41 can it invalidate, for example, that 7:43 means, ee, it's a bit burdensome. So, 7:46 how can the teachings of Islam, which 7:49 Allah gives grace, ee, resolve things 7:52 that, ee, in the context of fiqh, have 7:55 become a polemic problem, yes. But it 7:58 turns out that based on God's mercy, oh 8:01 , there are conveniences. For example, 8:06 there are those who must be vaccinated, 8:12 for example. I wonder if that breaks 8:16 the fast or not. And perhaps the 8:19 examples will be more extensive, 8:21 according to our teacher Alb Al Habib 8:24 Husein Alatas. This is probably enough 8:28 for me, but as a reference, Allah has 8:31 given us extraordinary grace. So, from 8:35 the grace of Allah given to us Muslims, 8:38 we have given us conveniences. So, we 8:41 must be grateful, be grateful, and 8:44 worship Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala a lot 8:47 , and of course, maintain the quality 8:51 of this Ramadan fast. Let's not waste 8:54 it, let's not let it be that the real 8:57 danger is not only physical illnesses, 9:00 but spiritual illnesses that greatly 9:03 reduce the reward of fasting. Maybe for 9:07 more clarity, let's listen to our 9:09 teacher who will provide solutions to 9:12 various problems that we are facing 9:15 today. Thank you. Peace be upon you and 9:18 Allah be 9:20 upon you. And may Allah bless you and 9:27 grant you peace. Praise be to Allah the 9:34 Lord of the Worlds. May Allah bless you 9:38 and grant you peace. May Allah bless 9:48 you and grant you peace. May Allah 9:56 bless you and grant you peace. May 10:03 Allah bless you and grant you peace. 10:09 May Allah bless you and grant you peace 10:14 . Allahumma fariqal furqan wa mudzilal 10:21 quran bil hikmati wal bayan 10:24 barikillahummaana fi syahri ramadan 10:27 waidhu alaina sinin b'da sinin a'wam 10:31 ba'da awam zaidin ghairo muntaqisin 10:35 makbulin ghairo mardudin marhumina 10:38 ghairo marhumin mardiyin wfurina 10:43 birahmatika ya arhamar Rbana zidna 10:48 ilman waikna bihin. Amma ba'du. 10:51 Brothers, sisters, listeners, radio and 10:58 TV silaturahim viewers, all Muslims 11:02 wherever you are. Ustaz Oton Surasman 11:06 who accompanies us this morning. 11:09 Likewise, Ustaz Muhammad Krishna, there 11:13 is Ustaz Abu Hasan Asyadili, Mr. Wafi 11:17 and his colleagues. There is Mr. 11:20 Muhammad here, Neza and the entire 11:22 Rasil crew who accompanies us this 11:24 morning. To the entire extended Rasil 11:29 family who are fighting together with 11:32 the aim of inviting all of us and 11:35 humanity to return to Allah, holding on 11:39 to the ropes, uniting in the religion 11:42 of Allah Subhanahu wa taala. May Allah 11:47 subhanahu wa taala bless whatever we do 11:51 in this month of Ramadan. Likewise the 11:56 preaching that we convey. Allah 11:58 straightens our crookedness, corrects 12:01 our mistakes, also cleanses our souls 12:05 from all stains that can damage the 12:08 sincerity and sincerity of our deeds. 12:12 We ask that Allah bless all our steps 12:14 on the path so that they truly bring 12:17 goodness to the nation, state and 12:19 people. It doesn't come by sowing 12:23 slander. Guardian yesdubillah. Because 12:25 that is the mission of our prophet. 12:26 Wama Arsalnaka Illa Rahmatan Lil Alamin 12:29 . Brothers and sisters who are blessed 12:35 by Allah. The theme of our study 12:40 reflections under the auspices of the 12:43 Al-Qur'an this time is: Islam is a 12:46 guide to life that is directly sent 12:50 down from Allah who is full of mercy, 12:55 full of convenience, and Allah 12:57 Subhanahu wa Taala with this guidance 13:00 for life does not want to cause trouble 13:03 , difficulty or burden his servants. 13:08 Therefore Allah said, "Fattaqulahaum." 13:11 Fear Allah to the best of your ability. 13:16 Those who can't afford it la 13:19 yukallifulahu nafsan illa business. 13:24 Allah Subhanahu wa taala in the life 13:28 guidance that Allah has revealed to us 13:32 explains that what Allah taught us is 13:35 in line with what Abraham taught. 13:40 Teachings full of grace and ease. And 13:44 Allah never makes things difficult in 13:48 what? in the guidance and teachings 13:53 revealed for our salvation. At the end 13:59 of Suratul Haj Allah says, "Ma ja'ala 14:03 alaikum fiddini min haraj millata 14:06 abikum Ibrahim sammaumul muslimin." 14:11 Allah does not create narrowness, there 14:15 is nothing narrowing in religion or in 14:19 the guidance that Allah has sent down 14:23 to you. Ma ja'ala alaikum fiddini min. 14:30 Allah subhanahu wa taala does not 14:33 create narrowness in what? In the 14:36 guidance of the deen that Allah has 14:38 sent down to you. In life's guidance 14:42 and guidance that comes from Allah 14:44 there is no narrowness. Millata Abikum 14:49 Ibrahim is in accordance with Ibrahim's 14:52 footsteps and way of life. Huamakumul 14:56 muslimina minqblu. And it was he who 14:59 named you from long ago not just 15:02 Muslims as people who have submitted 15:04 themselves to Allah. Well, let's take 15:07 an example. When Allah commands a 15:11 person to purify himself when he is 15:15 unable to get water or is not allowed 15:19 to use water, he can perform tayamum. 15:24 Can have 15:25 chickens. Tayammum by sweeping the 15:29 hands and face using pure and clean 15:36 earth. Then Allah explained after 15:41 explaining the command to purify first 15:44 in Suratul Maidah. Waidza qumtum ilati 15:47 fsilu wujuhakum wa aidiyakum ilal 15:50 marofiqi wsahu ya Biruusikumjulakum. At 15:56 the end of the verse, Allah explains 15:59 that this guidance is not to burden you 16:02 . Mauriullah alikum min. Allah does not 16:09 want at all the narrowness that Allah 16:15 Subhanahu wa taala inflicts on you with 16:17 this guidance. So the command to 16:20 perform ablution or perform tayamum is 16:23 not the aim of Allah wanting to narrow 16:25 you down. Ma yuridullah liaajala alikum 16:29 min. Allah does not want to create 16:31 hardship for you. But what? But with 16:43 this command to purify, Allah wants to 16:47 purify you both physically and mentally 16:50 and perfect His blessings upon you. If 16:54 a person's soul and body are pure and 16:57 clean, then he will truly feel the 17:00 pleasure of life. Like a field before 17:03 it is planted it is cleaned first. then 17:05 these plants will grow abundantly. So, 17:11 purification aims to purify us and 17:14 perfect his blessings upon us. Allah 17:19 commands us to purify our faces. In 17:22 fact, the main goal is not only to 17:26 clean the dirt stains that stick to our 17:29 faces, but the aim is to clean our 17:33 hearts. The purpose of our life is to 17:35 truly straighten it out for Allah. On 17:38 our face there are two eyeballs that 17:40 often commit sins. There is also a nose 17:44 , there is also a mouth. Is that true 17:47 or not? So, by performing ablution, 17:50 Allah cleanses both physically and 17:53 spiritually. So it's not a face huh. 17:59 Yes, actually the main concern is aimed 18:02 at, but actually the face depicts the 18:04 direction of a person's life. When 18:09 Allah commands us to purify our hands, 18:12 it is not actually the hands that are 18:14 the main goal, but to cleanse our 18:17 efforts of what Allah has forbidden. By 18:20 purifying ourselves, God helps us for 18:23 what? Cleaning our business from 18:25 anything that is forbidden by Allah. So 18:29 does sweeping our heads. Actually, it's 18:32 not just sweeping and cleaning your 18:35 hair. Because in general our hair is 18:36 maintained. So do our faces. Is that 18:39 right? So do our hands. Especially 18:41 those who wear clothes up to their arms 18:43 . There are parts of the body that are 18:47 much dirtier than all that. But why is 18:49 this cleaned? Because there is a 18:51 symbolic meaning. Cleaning our hair, 18:54 our heads. Actually asking Allah to 18:57 purify our minds from the whispers of 19:00 Satan. Meanwhile, our two feet, our 19:04 vehicles, often step in places where 19:07 Allah does not approve. By washing it 19:10 or sweeping it, Allah Subhanahu wa 19:13 Taala helps to cleanse our steps so 19:16 that we do not walk in inappropriate 19:20 places. So the purpose of performing 19:25 ablution or performing tayammum is not 19:27 to burden us, but the purpose is to 19:30 purify us physically and mentally and 19:33 also to perfect the blessings. With 19:35 purity of soul, we will be able to 19:38 truly enjoy the true meaning of life 19:42 and recognize its purpose and will be 19:45 able to develop noble values and noble 19:48 character. Then during prayer, when 19:55 praying in the pillars of prayer there 19:58 is an obligation to stand for those who 20:02 are able. How do people who are unable 20:04 to stand? He can sit in prayer. Unable 20:08 to sit, he could lie down. Berba lying 20:14 down. If his body is dirty, he cleans 20:18 the dirt on his body. So what if he is 20:22 unable to clean the dirt on his body? 20:28 For example, he has difficulty 20:30 defecating normally through the anus, 20:33 excreting through a bag, or there is no 20:37 tool to clean where he has been exposed 20:40 to dirt, there is no water; yes, he can 20:43 clean it with soil. How can he perform 20:47 his prayer in a state of bodily dirt? 20:52 Or someone who has salis albaul, who 20:54 has incontinence, who is always 20:55 dripping, is this person unable to pray 20:59 ? No. Even if he is dripping, the 21:01 obligation of prayer can be performed. 21:04 If he cannot use a catheter bag, he can 21:08 use, say, a type of diaper. And he 21:12 prays. How can you pray in your 21:13 condition? That is the ease from Allah. 21:15 Ma jaala alaikum fiddini min haraj. For 21:18 those who are able to clean themselves, 21:20 it is obligatory to clean themselves. 21:23 La tuatun bhairi thur. A person's 21:26 prayer is not accepted without first 21:27 purifying themselves. But if he is 21:29 unable to do so in a hospital, in an 21:33 emergency, then he can pray even if he 21:38 is not purified. This is called faqidut 21:42 thuhrain. His body is dirty and he 21:44 cannot perform ablution. He can perform 21:46 prayer because he is not willing to be 21:48 dirty, but because he is unable to 21:50 clean himself. This is a mercy from 21:53 Allah. Well, the basic principle is la 21:56 yukallifulahu nafsan illa wusaha. 22:00 Unable to stand, sit. Unable to sit, he 22:04 can lie down. Unable to move his body, 22:06 gesture, his eyes. Unable to clean 22:09 himself, he prays. In such a situation, 22:13 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala accepts from 22:15 His servants according to their ability 22:18 . When talking about dirt, humans 22:22 wherever they go bring dirt back there, 22:25 whether liquid or solid in their 22:27 stomachs. Isn't that right? Well, when 22:31 we go out, some people have the ability 22:33 to clean themselves because they have 22:35 the means, while others don't. So, when 22:37 they are able to clean themselves, they 22:39 are obligated to do so. If it is not 22:41 valid. But if they are unable, Allah 22:44 Subhanahu wa ta'ala la yukallifulahu 22:47 nafsan illa wus. Therefore, in the 22:52 guidance and teachings of Islam, Allah 22:55 firmly states fainna maal usri yusro. 23:00 Inna maal usri yusro. This not only 23:03 gives hope that every difficulty with 23:06 difficulty comes ease. But that is the 23:09 guidance of our religion. Qal amru 23:14 itasa. If a situation narrows, breadth 23:17 and ease immediately open up. For 23:20 example, it is forbidden for people to 23:22 eat pork. It is forbidden to eat pork 23:25 when it is in need if it does not eat 23:28 it will perish because there is no 23:31 other food. He doesn't just have to eat 23:34 to save his life. Even though pork is 23:38 strictly forbidden, for the safety of 23:41 his life he is allowed to eat pork. 23:47 That is not the opinion of the ulama, 23:50 but the Koran intervenes in this matter 23:52 . Ya fala innallaha gurahim fi makmin 24:04 ghair mutajanifin fainnallaha gfururah 24:07 uterus. If people are forced to do 24:13 something, not because they 24:15 deliberately want to do it, not because 24:18 they want to do it, then Allah is most 24:21 forgiving and most merciful. In another 24:30 verse, yes inallahahim. Whoever is 24:38 forced not because of his own will or 24:40 wants to violate boundaries does not 24:43 sin. Allah is most merciful and most 24:44 merciful. So two rules were born that 24:48 became a guide for us. Adbarurat 24:52 tubihul mahdurat. Yes, a state of 24:56 emergency allows what would have been 24:58 prohibited in normal times. W ubihaq 25:05 what is allowed during an emergency is 25:07 adjusted to suit his needs. To save 25:11 ourselves, we eat pork, not for 25:15 satisfaction, but only for our survival 25:20 . So ghair shares not with willpower. 25:23 Wala adim does not exceed the limit. So 25:25 an emergency allows what is prohibited, 25:28 what is allowed because of an emergency 25:32 is adjusted to suit needs. That's a 25:35 blessing from Allah. This is not the 25:37 opinion of fiqh, but is an ease that 25:40 comes from Allah. Both during ablution, 25:43 tayammum, and purification are not 25:45 meant to be burdensome, but to make 25:48 things easier. Likewise in the Hajj. 25:51 People asked the Prophet, "O Messenger 25:55 of Allah, what if we make tawaf first 25:58 before zamrah or jamrah first before 26:01 tawaf or do this before that?" 26:04 Rasulullah said, "If'al wala do there 26:07 is no difficulty." Ma'ala alaikum 26:09 fiddini min haraj. Allah does not 26:13 create narrowness in His guidance that 26:16 Allah has sent down to you. This 26:20 guidance is to purify you, straighten 26:23 your life, yes, to lead you to ease, 26:27 not plunge you into difficulty. On the 26:31 other hand, sins and transgressions 26:33 plunge us into suffering, misery, 26:36 sadness, and a stressful life. Because 26:39 this easy path is on Allah's path. 26:42 Going out of the way of Allah is 26:44 suffering and difficulty. When a person 26:49 goes to the holy land to perform the 26:52 Hajj, what is it forbidden to do after 26:55 performing the ihram? to cut his hair. 27:00 Is that right? It is forbidden to cut 27:03 your hair. It is forbidden to cut nails 27:06 . While he was in ihram, he suddenly 27:09 suffered a head injury or an illness 27:12 that required him to shave his head 27:15 even though he was in ihram. Does that 27:18 mean the Hajj is cancelled? No. Allah 27:21 mentioned it in Suratul verse 196 eh 27:25 Suratul Baqarah 196. Famanana maridon a 27:29 bihiam mirihi fafidyatum minamin 27:33 shodqatin stab. Whoever is sick and 27:37 performs ihram, he must complete his 27:40 Hajj. Yes. Not in a situation where the 27:44 ihsar is obstructed by the enemy as in 27:47 Umratul Hudaibiyah. The meaning is that 27:49 he enters the ihram to perform the Hajj 27:52 . Suddenly he had a headache. He had to 27:59 cut his hair. What happened? Is it 28:03 cancelled? No. Fafidatuaminqatin 28:06 stabbed. So he is obliged to pay the 28:11 fidyah fine by fasting or giving alms 28:15 or slaughtering a horse that is easy 28:19 for him. See how Allah provides a way 28:23 out from afar to come to the holy land 28:26 intending to perform worship. Suddenly 28:28 he had to shave his hair during ihram. 28:31 Is hope lost? No. her hope remained 28:34 open to her because she tied her hair 28:36 not against her will. Is that right? 28:41 This is an infinite mercy from Allah 28:44 Subhanahu wa Taala. For what we cannot 28:48 afford, Allah gives us a way out. So 28:51 Allah said, "Fattaqulaha'tum." We do 28:56 our best to carry out God's commands. 28:59 Likewise in avoiding prohibitions. But 29:01 if we are in a desperate or cramped 29:03 condition, Allah provides a way out. 29:07 Until Allah says fainna maal usri. It 29:10 is repeated. Innamaal usri yusr. O 29:13 servants of Allah, O believers, know 29:17 that in your lives in following Allah's 29:23 guidance, you must understand that this 29:26 guidance is a mercy, a path to 29:28 salvation for you, not a path to 29:31 suffering. So with every difficulty 29:35 there is always ease. It is repeated 29:38 again, inna maal usri yusra. Indeed, 29:41 with difficulty there is ease. Not 29:44 after. If after there is time, there is 29:47 distance, but with every difficulty 29:50 there is always ease. That is the 29:52 guidance of Allah. 29:54 People asked the Prophet, "O Messenger 29:57 of Allah, I am unable to perform jamrah 30:00 during the day because of the crowding, 30:03 heat, and tightness. While I have a 30:06 basic condition of weakness. The 30:09 Prophet said to throw it in the 30:11 afternoon, cannot throw it at night, 30:13 cannot throw it in the morning either. 30:18 What is the ease from that? From Allah 30:21 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So, unable to do 30:24 it in the afternoon, cannot do it in 30:25 the afternoon, cannot do it in the 30:26 evening, do not want to do it at night, 30:27 the next morning to make up for 30:28 yesterday. Because the morning is 30:29 usually still empty. Well, a few years 30:33 ago, it was common among the ee 30:36 al-Irsyad, guidance from the Saudi 30:40 Arabian government, yes, their figures 30:43 spread in the places of jamarat saying, 30:47 " It is not valid for someone to throw 30:51 it before the sun has set. "It is not 30:54 permissible to throw before slipping. 30:57 Because that is the sunnah of our 30:58 Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 31:00 wasallam. That's right. The Prophet did 31:02 it after the zawal, but the Prophet 31:04 also did not prevent people from 31:06 throwing at night or even the next day. 31:10 Finally, because of fatwas like this, 31:13 people crowd together when throwing 31:16 until many perish. Many perish. In fact 31:22 , Allah's purpose in commanding us to 31:25 throw is not to consign ourselves to 31:28 destruction. Wulquidikum. But to 31:33 educate us to free ourselves from the 31:35 occupation of Satan. Throwing stones is 31:38 only a symbolic act of worship. Don't 31:40 be ordered to throw at Satan, instead 31:42 we end up becoming Satan. So don't push 31:48 people, don't push people. Find quiet 31:51 places to throw. If you can't do it in 31:54 the morning, afternoon, evening, or 31:56 night, Allah opens the door of His 31:58 mercy as wide as possible. But if we 32:01 push people, especially to the point of 32:04 stepping on people, pushing people, 32:06 especially during jamr or tawaf. In 32:08 tawaf, people should still walk on 32:10 their own path. Don't cut there, cut 32:12 here wanting to finish. In the end, it 32:15 makes people fell, were trampled and 32:16 perished. People who kissed the Black 32:20 Stone shouted in front of the house of 32:22 Allah while pulling people. If you 32:25 can't kiss, use your hands and heart 32:27 gestures full of longing. Because of 32:30 what? Because it is only a symbolic 32:33 worship. It's time for us to carry out 32:35 this worship by doing injustice to 32:37 humans. So, because we don't understand 32:40 maqasid asyariatul islamiyah, the aims 32:43 and objectives of Islamic law, many of 32:46 us end up getting into trouble and 32:48 leading other people into trouble with 32:51 our fatwas. So, maala alaikum fiddini 32:56 min har. Then while fasting in the 33:00 month of Ramadan, Allah said," Syahru 33:03 ramadan alladzi unzila fihil Koran. " 33:06 The month of Ramadan. The Al-Qur'an was 33:09 revealed to him. The Al-Qur'an was 33:12 first revealed in the month of Ramadan. 33:16 Alladzi unzila fihil Koran hudan linnas 33:18 . Allah's Koran was revealed as a guide 33:22 and guidance for humans. If it is used 33:26 as a guide, the lives of Muslims will 33:28 be peaceful, harmonious, and will be 33:30 easy. Yes. Wabayyinat minal huda wal 33:33 furqan. And in the Al-Qur'an there are 33:37 also verses that explain, explain the 33:39 meaning of these instructions. So, 33:42 people are not confused about 33:45 understanding the Koran because in the 33:50 Koran there are verses that explain, 33:54 explain the meaning of verses that 34:00 contain guidance. if it doesn't fit, 34:18 it's wrong, wherever he comes from, 34:21 whatever his sect, Whatever the 34:23 background, we must really take this to 34:25 heart and use it as a guide. Faman 34:29 martyr minkumusahro falyasum. If 34:33 someone witnesses the presence of the 34:36 fasting month, then he is obliged to 34:39 carry out afternoon worship for those 34:42 who are unable to do so. Wamanana 34:45 maridon ala safarin faidatum min 34:48 ayyamin ukh. Anyone who is sick or on a 34:52 journey. In 34:54 fact, a person's weight on a journey is 34:56 different from when he or she was 34:58 traveling and then staying. For example 35:00 , he went to Mecca, on the way he 35:02 fasted hard, but after staying in Mecca 35:04 to worship, he had no difficulty in 35:06 worshiping. But the safar pedestal 35:09 depicts him on a journey. Who is sick 35:12 and on the way faidyat waman maridan 35:18 ala safarin faidatum min ayyamin uk. So 35:22 he is permitted to repeat his fast on 35:26 other days when he is not sick and when 35:31 he is in what condition? Not traveling, 35:34 not a traveler. Faidatum min ayyamin. 35:38 Then Allah explained the main 35:40 principles of his religion. Yuridullah 35:43 bikumul yusro wala yuridu bikumul usro. 35:47 Allah desires ease for you. He does not 35:51 desire hardship. So where does the 35:55 hardship in this religion come from? It 35:57 comes from us who misunderstand Allah's 36:01 guidance. Ultimately, we make things 36:05 difficult for ourselves and for others. 36:08 If Allah desires ease for us and does 36:11 not desire hardship, many people like 36:13 to make things difficult because they 36:16 think the more difficult it is, the 36:18 greater the reward. No. Allah desires 36:23 ease. We walk on ease. Not with the 36:26 intention of violating Allah's guidance 36:28 . It means we respect Allah's guidance. 36:32 But if we make things difficult for 36:33 ourselves to the point of leading to 36:35 accidents, we are sinful. Then 36:37 walitukmilul iddata walitukabbirullaha 36:40 ala ma hadakum walakum taskurun. By 36:43 repeating the fast at another time, you 36:46 do not lose. You can complete your 36:49 fasting count. Now you are sick, now 36:52 you are traveling, you break the fast. 36:57 You repeat the fast at another time 36:59 with the same reward. 37:00 Walitukabbirullaha ala ma hadakum. Also 37:04 , by following Allah's guidance, 37:07 enjoying Allah's guidance and guidance, 37:11 you will appreciate Allah and 37:14 predestinate Him. So instead of feeling 37:17 burdened, He predestines you. Allah as 37:19 an expression of gratitude. 37:21 Wala'allakum tasykurun and also to 37:24 guide you to become grateful people. So 37:27 , how can a person be grateful if he 37:29 feels suffering? So he can complete his 37:34 fast, right? Then thank Allah for such 37:39 beautiful guidance and thank Allah. So, 37:43 if someone is sick, he fasts, 37:45 endangering his illness, he is obliged 37:48 to break the fast. Not allowed at all? 37:51 He must not fast at all because it 37:54 could plunge him into perdition. So, 37:57 now the question is related to almarul 38:01 muzmin, a chronic disease that is 38:04 integrated with him and is not 38:07 separated like diabetes. Diabetes: For 38:13 people who suffer from diabetes, 38:16 fasting actually helps them to reduce 38:20 their sugar levels and regulate what? 38:24 Arrange it well. There are all kinds of 38:30 diabetes sufferers. There are diabetics 38:33 whose sugar levels are erratic. 38:40 Sometimes in the middle of the day when 38:42 he fasts, his sugar drops. The sugar 38:46 drops. But there are some who fast and 38:50 their sugar is normal, okay? He takes 38:53 good care of his food. When he was at 38:57 dawn, yes, he was Maintaining the 38:59 necessary nutrition without overdoing 39:00 it. He fasts all day, and his blood 39:02 sugar is fine and normal. My 39:05 mother-in-law's blood sugar can be 500, 39:07 600 when she fasts. Subhanallah, when 39:10 it starts in the afternoon, her blood 39:13 sugar is 90-100. As soon as she breaks 39:16 her fast, her blood sugar rises. So, 39:18 fasting is truly healthy for her. 39:21 However, some people find that when 39:24 they fast, their blood sugar suddenly 39:28 drops, sometimes it rises, sometimes it 39:32 drops. 39:34 This is a chronic condition. Does she 39:37 not have the opportunity to fast at all 39:40 while this is a chronic disease? 39:44 Fasting is actually healthy, but it's 39:47 dangerous when fasting, when blood 39:49 sugar drops, which can be fatal. How 39:52 should we deal with this? For people 39:55 like this, whom we call abnormal, when 39:58 their blood sugar drops, they can 40:02 receive an IV drip to restore their 40:06 blood sugar to normal. If they are able 40:10 , they can usually arrange for a nurse 40:13 to provide them with the necessary 40:16 infusions without having to consume 40:20 them. Increasing blood sugar levels is 40:23 not...What does it mean to give? 40:25 Nutrition. Nutrition like that given to 40:28 healthy people. But this nutrition is 40:31 to restore the body to normal, or to 40:34 normal, like a normal person. Because 40:39 if the blood sugar drops, the person 40:40 will experience heart palpitations, 40:42 shortness of breath, and could fall 40:44 into a coma or even death. If the 40:46 person is not able to do this, or if it 40:50 is difficult for him to get an IV drip 40:54 from the hospital, he can consume foods 40:57 containing sugar. Containing sugar, 41:01 such as dates or syrup, adjusted to his 41:06 needs. If he consumes three dates, it 41:10 is enough to return his blood sugar to 41:13 normal. If not enough, he eats dates. 41:17 After his blood sugar returns to normal 41:19 , he continues his fast until the 41:21 afternoon. God willing, he will receive 41:23 the reward of a fasting person. He 41:26 rejoices during sahur and iftar meals 41:29 and has hope. But if he has to break 41:32 the fast watching others around him 41:34 fast, how sad it is for a believer. So, 41:37 for those of you who experience this 41:40 situation, where your blood sugar is 41:42 erratic in the middle of the day or in 41:44 the afternoon and drops, consume some 41:47 dates or syrup to return it to normal. 41:50 Continue fasting. So, to add to the 41:52 shortage, he just has to pay fidyah. 41:55 pay fid 41:57 fidyah. A poor person like him shaves 42:01 his head and when he is in ihram he 42:05 also pays fidyah. Fafidyat min siamine 42:10 shodqatin stab. Fidyah by fasting or 42:13 giving alms or slaughtering a goat. So, 42:17 for people who fast, it is not possible 42:19 to fulfill fasting by fasting. What is 42:22 the fidyah? With alms. with almsgiving. 42:27 So every day he fasts, if his sugar 42:29 drops, he consumes something that 42:31 brings his sugar back to a stable state 42:34 , continue fasting. And he can enjoy 42:37 the fasting atmosphere with full 42:39 happiness. Then to make up the 42:41 shortfall he paid fidyah. Beautiful or 42:44 not? Very beautiful. 42:47 Well, so does Ustaz Oton. If someone 42:51 has asthma, sometimes the disease 42:54 recurs because they are allergic and 42:57 fasting, suddenly dust flies up, making 43:00 them feel irritated. If left unchecked, 43:02 it's dangerous for him. He can spray. 43:06 Arabs say bakhah yes. Spray to relieve 43:10 tightness This does not invalidate the 43:13 fast. Likewise, someone whose eyes have 43:19 had cataract surgery or someone with 43:23 glaucoma, where the eye pressure is 43:27 high, needs eye drops. For medical 43:31 purposes, they may use eye drops, or 43:34 those with dry eyes. If dry eyes often 43:37 have headaches, they may use them as 43:41 needed. Because eye drops are not 43:44 intended for drinking, 43:45 although they can sometimes come down 43:47 here, right? 43:48 So giving medication such as 43:51 antibiotics for the eyes or using what 43:54 is called ee medicine to lower eye 43:56 pressure is permissible. This does not 44:00 invalidate the fast. Ma jaala alikum 44:03 fiddini min yuridullah bikumul yusro 44:07 widu bikum usro. Nowadays, no one wants 44:09 to drink through the eyes. Likewise, 44:13 people with ear problems need 44:16 antibiotic eye drops to clean their 44:19 ears. They can fast and also drop them 44:22 according to the doctor's advice on how 44:25 often to use them. Likewise, when 44:29 someone needs antibiotic injections. 44:32 Say they are getting antibiotic 44:34 injections, or say they have nerve 44:37 problems that require injections such 44:40 as ee metiobal or norok biol for health 44:43 . If the nerves are needed, injections 44:46 are allowed, but IVs are not allowed. 44:49 What kind of IV? IVs are for food and 44:53 other purposes. There's a story about 45:00 someone who had a dehydration disorder. 45:04 So, what are these pores doing so 45:07 easily? They release water. Especially 45:10 in hot weather. There was a scholar in 45:14 Iraq—I won't mention his name—who 45:17 was asked," Ayyuhas Sheikh, I have a 45:19 disease of a believer, not a disease 45:22 like someone who has an illness. "" Say 45:25 this or that disorder 45:26 where I am, it is very easy to remove 45:31 fluids from this body. If I eat sahur 45:35 at the time I eat sahur, it is midday, 45:39 starting what I experience dehydration. 45:42 If I continue fasting, it is dangerous 45:45 for me. This dehydration is not a 45:47 trivial matter, it can cause dryness in 45:50 the brain, in others and ultimately 45:52 make the body not function the same as 45:55 a car if the heat level is high, the 45:57 radiator because the water is dry, what 46:00 can the engine do? Bend. The human body 46:03 is the same, there is no difference. 46:05 Should I not fast? Not fasting with 46:10 this disease, can I fast? The pious 46:14 person said, "To restore your body's 46:17 condition with its water needs, how 46:20 many glasses during your fasting do you 46:23 drink?" It's estimated to be around 3 46:25 glasses. Then you drink three glasses. 46:29 Because three glasses are not for 46:31 drinking, but to restore the body to 46:34 normal. Because water often comes out 46:37 of the pores easily. So he drinks, yes, 46:41 additionally divided into 3 times 46:43 during the day, drinking water to 46:46 restore it, then you fast and pay 46:48 slander to cover the deficiency. This 46:52 person, if he doesn't fast, how will he 46:56 feel? He is a diligent worshipper who 46:59 wants to be like other people who can 47:01 fast, but his body condition does not 47:04 want him. Imagine his sadness. But he 47:08 fasts, then there is a way out because 47:11 fainna maal usri yusro. Inna maal usri 47:15 yusr. So for someone who is fasting or 47:18 performing Siamese worship and then he 47:20 has a disorder that is Muslim in nature 47:23 that is united with him, yes, 47:26 he can use a solution that suits his 47:31 needs. If his sugar drops, he consumes, 47:34 say, dates or sweets to restore his 47:37 sugar to an abnormal level. After that, 47:40 continue his fast. People with asthma 47:42 can spray, people who need eye 47:44 treatment can use eye drops, the same 47:47 goes for ears. This goes back to 47:49 Allah's guidance. Yuriullah bikumul 47:52 yusro wala yuridu bikumul usra is in 47:55 accordance with maqasid asyariatul 47:57 islamiah. The purpose of Islamic law is 48:01 when our grandparents came down to 48:04 earth, Allah said to them faimma 48:07 yatiannakum minni huda. If my 48:10 instructions reach Kalianaba Huda Fala 48:16 Yadill WQ. Whoever follows my 48:18 instructions will not suffer and will 48:20 not suffer harm. In Albaqarah, "Faman 48:24 tabi hudaya fala khaufun alaihim wum 48:27 yahzsanun." Whoever follows my guidance 48:29 will not experience fear, sadness. He 48:32 will not fear for his physical health, 48:34 nor for his mental health. So following 48:37 Allah's guidance is free from fear and 48:39 sadness. Now, if you are healthy and 48:42 there are no obstacles, you continue 48:44 fasting as Allah commands. But if you 48:47 have a weakness in a certain area, 48:49 cover it up, continue fasting. Your 48:52 weakness is sugar drops, fill it with 48:54 sugar. Your weakness is shortness of 48:56 breath, spray with what? Helpers to 48:59 relieve our lungs. If there is a 49:03 problem in the nose, drop medicine in 49:05 the nose. If there is a problem in the 49:06 eyes, use it. Except if you drop 49:08 something without a reason. Dropping 49:12 liquid into the nose, into the eyes, 49:14 into the ears without a reason. That is 49:16 another matter. But if we read fiqh 49:20 that is far from Allah's guidance, fiqh 49:22 , it seems that many fiqh come from 49:25 scholars who like to make religion 49:27 difficult, they assume that the more 49:30 difficult the reward, the greater. They 49:33 do not understand the meaning of 49:35 Islamic law. So if someone in the river 49:38 farts back, his fast is broken. If he 49:42 puts it in, say, and pierces the ear 49:45 all the way in, it is broken. So also 49:48 putting his hand in his nose or 49:51 anything in his nose will break his 49:54 fast. There are other people who we 49:56 read Fathul Muin in ancient times. If a 49:58 person has defecated and has gone 50:00 downstairs, he will break his fast 50:02 again. Likewise, if people say they 50:06 have swallowed their spit here, they 50:08 will break their fast. I'm confused if 50:10 God is like this. This religion is so 50:13 incredibly confusing. There are others 50:16 who say that if someone injures their 50:17 head using medicine and it enters their 50:19 brain, their fast is broken. It might 50:22 even enter the brain. If it enters the 50:25 brain, the person could experience a 50:28 fatal disorder. So all this does not 50:32 come from Allah, but comes from people 50:36 who do not understand the maqasid of 50:39 Islamic law. But if a sick person fasts 50:43 , his illness will increase, so he must 50:47 stop fasting. But on the contrary, 50:52 sometimes fasting makes him healthy. 50:54 Well, now this story was told by a 51:01 leader in Egypt. Coincidentally he was 51:04 sick, he was hospitalized. A great 51:09 cleric named Al Imam Abu Zahra came to 51:13 visit. Imam Abu Zah was a prominent 51:17 scholar and a researcher who was 51:20 appreciated and respected by Scholars 51:24 in Egypt, including their teachers, 51:28 visited the man. Abu Zahra, when he 51:32 visited him and saw his condition, said 51:35 , "You are permitted by Allah to break 51:38 your fast, break your fast by fasting 51:43 because you are sick by drinking 51:46 maridan alfarin." He was sad, he was 51:52 sad. Finally, Subhanallah, when it was 51:57 time for him to take medicine, he did 52:03 not take medicine. He fasted, he felt 52:05 that fasting was healthier because 52:08 every time he ate, he felt heavy for 52:10 him. So during the day he did not take 52:13 medicine, he still fasted. Allah, 52:17 Subhanallah, how long before the doctor 52:20 had no hope for this man. This man said 52:23 , "I would rather die while fasting if 52:26 fasting is dangerous for me." Hopefully 52:30 , Allah will gather me with the sahib. 52:34 Subhanallah. Day after day passed in 52:37 good condition, even heading towards 52:41 recovery. The doctor said, "Sir, look, 52:45 you did not fast following our 52:48 instructions. Now you are recovering." 52:51 As he was about to be discharged from 52:53 the hospital, he said to the doctor, "I 52:55 did not, I did not break my fast." I 52:57 fasted throughout my illness. I didn't 53:00 take medicine during the day, but I ate 53:02 at other times. Subhanallah. As soon as 53:05 he returned home, Imam Abu Zahra, who 53:06 had been healthy the day before, passed 53:08 away. 53:09 Meanwhile, he, who was sick, was in a 53:10 state of... 53:11 Now, this is a case, a case. I don't 53:14 mean I recommend fasting for sick, 53:16 severely ill people, but this person 53:18 chose to fast and it actually restored 53:21 his health. Because this fast actually 53:23 cleanses toxins. Toxins, impurities 53:27 that cannot be cleansed at normal times 53:29 . By fasting throughout the day, O 53:33 Allah, subhanallah, the accumulation of 53:35 fat, toxins that have accumulated in 53:38 our fat, are all burned out. And the 53:42 main cause of disease is actually our 53:45 stomachs, where consuming food 53:47 carelessly accumulates. Ultimately, 53:50 what causes it? It causes various 53:52 diseases. So, from the verses of the 53:55 Quran that we have gathered, we 53:56 understand the maqasid asyari 53:58 al-Islamiyah (the purpose of Islamic 54:00 law). The purpose of Islamic law is not 54:03 to burden, but rather Allah wants to 54:06 provide ease and perfect His blessings. 54:09 And Allah affirms, "Fattaqulaha 54:11 mastat'tum." Beyond our ability, Allah 54:14 forgives. La yukallifulahu nafsan 54:16 illaha. This is the beauty of the 54:20 guidance of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala's 54:23 teachings. So everyone has the 54:25 opportunity to fast. People with 54:27 diabetes can fast. Even people with 54:29 heart problems when they fast have 54:31 healthier hearts. People with high 54:33 blood pressure who take medication 54:35 don't necessarily have their blood 54:36 pressure normal. If they fast during 54:38 the day, their blood pressure 54:39 immediately drops and they are in good 54:40 condition. Why? Because this digestion 54:44 is the source of what? The source of 54:47 the disease. Some people have high 54:49 blood pressure due to kidney problems. 54:51 It could be. Now, if fasting causes bad 54:54 side effects, they should not fast. 54:57 Some people have difficulty defecating. 54:58 Yes, 54:59 some have difficulty defecating. So, ee 55:01 , when someone is sick, they should try 55:04 to look at themselves, they should ask 55:07 a doctor, yes, see their condition, 55:10 okay? If fasting is not harmful, it can 55:13 even improve one's health, especially 55:16 for people with diabetes who reduce 55:19 their intake. When their blood sugar 55:22 drops, they can consume something to 55:24 stabilize it. 55:25 Pregnant women are allowed to fast. 55:26 Why are 55:27 pregnant women allowed to fast? 55:29 If it has a negative effect on their 55:30 children, they are not allowed to fast. 55:33 I have a wife, seven children, and I 55:36 always fast during Ramadan. How long 55:38 has Allah given me this? During all 55:42 seven of her pregnancies, she fasted. 55:46 She only missed two days, if I'm not 55:49 mistaken, because she happened to 55:51 contract measles during her pregnancy 55:54 at the end of Ramadan. She persevered, 55:56 but at the end, she broke her fast. I 55:58 have a daughter-in-law who is also 56:02 fasting, thank God, without any 56:03 problems at all, in fact, it makes her 56:05 feel better. But the important thing is 56:08 to eat the right food during suhoor ( 56:10 pre-dawn meal). It's high in nutrients. 56:14 Eat eggs, drink milk, honey, or dates. 56:17 Yes, don't just look at the amount of 56:19 rice, even though it's mostly 56:21 carbohydrates. 56:23 Give her some protein, right? 56:25 Milk. Well, when breaking her fast, she 56:27 also pays attention to that. If she 56:29 feels there is no harm to herself or 56:30 her baby, she can continue fasting. 56:32 However, if she feels that fasting is 56:35 causing harm, especially during early 56:38 pregnancy, it is dangerous for the 56:40 child. Some even vomit when cravings 56:44 arise. Yes, vomiting. Such a person can 56:48 break the fast and then pay fidyah. 56:51 Paying 56:52 fidyah is included in Allah's word, " 56:55 waadina yutiquunahu fidyatunam miskin." 57:00 For someone who fasts but is difficult. 57:02 Yes, Hamzah said atqa yutiqu here lil 57:06 izalah. So she fasts but is extremely 57:09 difficult. So such a person can pay 57:14 fidyah for one day to feed someone 57:18 fasting. Fasting with sahur is better. 57:23 If not, she gives someone to break the 57:25 fast. So fafidiyatun is a prayer of 57:28 poverty. But Allah reminds us after 57:30 that, "waasumuhairakum." If you fast 57:32 again, it is better. Meaning, when you 57:35 have finished your fast, you can fast 57:38 again, which will be better for you. So 57:42 paying fidyah if you have the 57:44 opportunity to make up for the fast 57:47 after pregnancy and so on is better for 57:50 you. The same goes for breastfeeding 57:52 mothers. 57:54 They breastfeed their children. The 57:56 children are heavily breastfeeding. So 57:59 at times like this, there are two 58:00 conditions. First, the mother is 58:02 experiencing an extraordinary hardship. 58:07 If she continues the hard fast, she can 58:10 pay fidyah. Later, if she is able to 58:15 fast, it will be better. But if she is 58:17 healthy, she can maintain her food and 58:20 drink intake while fasting.
