1:40 Rasil TV. 1:48 >> In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 1:50 , the Most Merciful. All praise is due 1:51 to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, 1:52 bestow peace upon our master Muhammad 1:54 and the family of our master Muhammad. 1:56 May the peace, mercy, and blessings of 1:58 Allah be upon you. Brothers and sisters 2:00 , listeners of Radio Silaturahim and 2:02 viewers of Rasil TV, may you be blessed 2:03 by Allah. Praise be to Allah, we meet 2:06 again, brothers and sisters, on this 2:09 Tuesday afternoon, the 2nd of Jumada 2:12 al-Awwal 1448 Hijri, which corresponds 2:15 to October 13, 2026. We are here again 2:18 this afternoon for our midday talk with 2:20 Ustaz Fawas Abizawiyah, who, praise be 2:23 to Allah, has joined us in the studio. 2:25 Let's greet the brothers and sisters. 2:27 May the peace, mercy, and blessings of 2:28 Allah be upon you, Ustaz. 2:29 >> May the peace, mercy, and blessings of 2:31 Allah be upon you, too. 2:32 >> MashaAllah, you look very refreshed, 2:34 Ustaz. 2:34 >> Praise be to Allah. Where have you been 2:36 , Ustaz? 2:36 >> I just performed wudu. 2:37 >> MashaAllah, how extraordinary. 2:38 >> Yes. Since this morning, right after 2:41 Fajr, I attended the morning study 2:42 session at Istiqlal Mosque. 2:45 >> Together with the noble teacher, Al 2:46 Habib Umar bin Muhammad bin Salim bin 2:48 Hafiz. 2:48 >> Oh, you were at the SLA? 2:49 >> You've been recharged since this 2:51 morning, then. 2:52 >> Your battery is fresh, isn't it? 2:55 >> After that, we were with the mothers. 2:58 >> At the mosque in MRBJ. 3:01 >> There was a gathering of the Khairun 3:03 Nisa Assembly. We studied the Quran, 3:06 reflecting on. 3:08 >> A chapter from the Quran. 3:09 >> Yes. 3:10 >> One chapter. So, that added another 3:12 charge. Right? 3:14 >> Your battery is truly charged. 3:15 >> Refilled with energy. 3:17 >> It means our spirituality. 3:18 >> Uh-huh. 3:19 >> Is recharged through reflections on the 3:22 Quran. 3:23 >> Gathering with the people of the Quran. 3:25 >> Even before coming here, I was invited 3:28 to stop by by our teacher, Ustaz Husein 3:30 bin Hamid Al-Attas. Right. 3:32 >> Invited for a meal. 3:33 >> MashaAllah. Received some advice. 3:35 >> Had coffee, recharged both our outer 3:38 and inner selves. 3:39 >> MashaAllah, that’s standard. 3:40 Extraordinary. 3:42 >> Especially since the study this morning 3:45 . 3:46 >> Regarding Surah Abasa wa tawalla. 3:49 >> Where the Quran describes a 3:52 less-than-ideal character. Which, 3:56 unfortunately, in many tafsir books, is 3:58 attributed to Prophet Muhammad. 4:00 >> Even in many translations of the Quran, 4:03 it is translated as "Abasa." He, 4:06 Muhammad, frowned. " 4:09 >> Watwalla," and he turned away. " 4:11 >> Anjaahul'aama." When a blind man came 4:15 to him. There is no god but Allah. How 4:18 could the Prophet Muhammad. 4:20 >> Frown. 4:22 >> Let alone turn away just because a 4:24 blind man came. What is the basis for 4:26 that? False narrations attribute a 4:29 frowning face to the Prophet. That the 4:32 Messenger had a frowning face. Even 4:35 though he had already conveyed the 4:36 verses of Allah. 4:37 >> Yes. 4:37 >> Yes. And turned away just because a 4:40 blind man arrived. Whereas in the Quran 4:45 , in Surah Al-Qalam, Allah Jalla 4:48 Jalaluhu wa Ta'ala clearly and firmly 4:52 praises him with His words: "Wa innaka 4:56 la'ala khuluqin adzim," truly you, O my 5:00 Messenger Muhammad, are surely upon. 5:05 >> Yes. 5:07 >> Upon an exalted standard of character. 5:11 >> Indeed, possessed of noble and 5:13 magnificent character. 5:15 >> So it is impossible for Prophet 5:16 Muhammad to have frowned. 5:17 >> Impossible to have frowned. 5:19 >> If the Quran says "abasta wat 5:22 tawallaita," you frowned, you turned 5:25 away, "anjaakal a'ma," when a blind man 5:28 came to you. We can say so because it 5:32 is the Qur'an that speaks. Yeah. 5:35 >> If it were merely an interpretation, 5:38 why must we attribute such things to 5:41 the Prophet, whose character was so 5:44 noble? 5:45 >> Laala khuluqin adzim. Laala khuluqin 5:49 adzim. See, exactly. Alhamdulillah, I 5:53 received so much advice, knowledge, and 5:55 lunch from our teacher, Ustaz Husein 5:57 bin Hamid. May Allah protect and watch 6:01 over him, inshaAllah. 6:04 >> Now, I've been invited to meet up here 6:06 again with Kang Fahri. 6:09 >> It's been a while since I last saw the 6:10 Ustaz. 6:10 >> Yes, it really has been a long time, 6:12 hasn't it? 6:13 >> Yeah. Hopefully, in the time we have 6:15 left, 6:15 >> our midday lecture program will be 6:17 beneficial. Amen. O Allah. 6:19 >> Amen, O Lord of the worlds. Also, for 6:21 those who might be ill today, Ustaz, 6:23 may they be granted strength and 6:24 healing by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, 6:26 and for our brothers and sisters 6:28 suffering from disasters everywhere. 6:30 >> In Kalimantan, it's still ongoing, 6:32 Ustaz, the haze is still there. 6:33 >> Now it's spreading to Sumatra, 6:35 >> Jambi as well. 6:37 >> To Malaysia and Singapore; Singapore 6:39 also gets its share sometimes, from 6:40 what I hear. 6:43 >> Just for the interests of a handful of 6:45 people, may Allah grant them guidance 6:47 and grace. And patience, and safety for 6:50 all. Here it's drought, there it's 6:53 fires, and in West Sumatra, there's 6:55 flooding. 6:56 >> Flooding, oh God. 6:58 >> Allahu Akbar Kabira. 6:59 >> May everything be resolved quickly and 7:01 well. MashaAllah. Amen. 7:04 >> Today we will listen together to the 7:06 theme the Ustaz will present regarding 7:07 Allah's mercy for those who know and 7:09 are self-aware. Those who know and are 7:12 aware of their own limits, right, Ustaz 7:14 ? 7:14 >> Their own limits. 7:15 >> Now, what does this mean, Ustaz? We'll 7:16 see what it's like later, Ustaz. Please 7:19 , Ustaz, go ahead. 7:19 >> Very well. In the name of Allah, the 7:21 Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace 7:22 be upon you, and the mercy of Allah, 7:24 and His blessings. All praise be to 7:26 Allah, and peace and blessings upon the 7:28 best of Allah's creation, our master 7:30 Muhammad, son of Abdullah, and upon his 7:32 family, his companions, and those who 7:34 follow his path and those who love him. 7:36 There is no power nor strength except 7:38 with Allah. Exalted are You; we have no 7:40 knowledge except what You have taught 7:42 us. Indeed, it is You who is the 7:44 All-Knowing, the Wise. And there is no 7:46 power nor strength except with Allah, 7:48 the Exalted, the Almighty. My Lord, 7:51 expand for me my chest, ease for me my 7:53 task, and untie the knot from my tongue 7:56 , so that they may understand my speech 7:58 . Our Lord, grant us from Yourself 8:01 mercy and prepare for us from our 8:03 affair right guidance. Our Lord, 8:05 increase us in knowledge, grant us 8:08 wisdom, and from Yourself give us 8:11 knowledge, make us Muslims, and...And 8:15 the end of our prayer is praise to 8:17 Allah, Lord of the worlds. Let us open 8:20 our midday lecture today by reciting 8:22 the Mother of the Qur'an, Suratul 8:25 Fatihah, praying to Allah Tabaraka wa 8:27 ta'ala, firstly, that may Allah always 8:29 have mercy on us, forgive us, guide us, 8:32 bless us, and be pleased with us all. 8:36 And secondly, we pray to Allah that He 8:39 grants mercy and forgiveness to all our 8:41 parents, our grandparents, and our 8:43 teachers who have left us from this 8:45 world. May Allah make their graves a 8:48 garden from the gardens of Paradise. 8:49 May Allah grant them a good place, the 8:51 best place, in the presence of Allah 8:53 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Next, we pray to 8:55 Allah that our parents who are still 8:58 alive, our living teachers, relatives, 9:00 friends, and those who have been good 9:03 to us all, if they are currently ill, 9:06 may Allah grant them healing. Those who 9:09 are in tight circumstances, may Allah 9:10 grant them relief. Those who are in 9:12 difficulty, may Allah grant them ease. 9:14 Those who are far from Allah, may He 9:16 bring them closer. Those who are 9:17 forgetful, may Allah remind them; those 9:19 who are heedless, may Allah guide them 9:21 back. And we also hope, especially for 9:24 our teachers, including the founder of 9:26 Silaturahim, our teacher Al Ustaz 9:28 Husein bin Hamid Alattas, may Allah 9:30 protect him and grant him long life 9:32 with good deeds in well-being and 9:34 health. Likewise for our other teachers 9:38 , our father Buya Ghazali Musanif, our 9:41 father KH Muhammad Ihya Ulumuddin, and 9:43 our father Kiai Syihabuddin. Then our 9:47 teacher who is currently conducting a 9:49 da'wah tour in Indonesia, Al Habib Umar 9:51 bin Muhammad bin Salim bin Hafid. And 9:53 then our teacher at Ribat Tarim, Al 9:56 Habib Abu Bakar bin Muhammad bin Faqih, 9:58 and all the children of Al Habib Hasan 10:00 bin Abdullah Syatri. Then Abuya Sayyid 10:03 Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Maliki in Makkah 10:06 Rusaifah. Then Sayyid Alawi and Asim 10:08 bin Abbas Al-Maliki, and Al Habib Zain 10:10 bin Ibrahim bin Sumaith in Madinah. And 10:12 our teachers located everywhere, 10:14 including in Iraq, Dr. Fadil Saleh 10:17 As-Samarrai Al-Baghdadi, then Sheikh 10:19 Said Mahmoud in Egypt, then our 10:21 teachers Sayyid Kamal al-Haydari, and 10:24 Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Hasni. May Allah 10:27 watch over them all, guide them, and 10:29 protect them from trials, both apparent 10:31 and hidden. With a sound intention, and 10:35 to the presence of the chosen Prophet 10:37 Muhammad, may Allah’s peace and 10:40 blessings be upon him and his family. 10:42 Al-Fatihah. I seek refuge in Allah, the 10:46 All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the 10:48 accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, 10:51 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 10:54 All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the 10:55 worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most 10:57 Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment 10:59 . You alone we worship, and from You 11:02 alone we seek help. Guide us to the 11:04 straight path, the path of those upon 11:06 whom You have bestowed favor, not of 11:08 those who have evoked [Your] anger or 11:10 of those who are astray. O Lord, 11:15 forgive me and my parents and the 11:17 believers, Amen, O Lord of the worlds. 11:20 Brothers and sisters, listeners of 11:22 Silaturahim wherever you are. Likewise, 11:26 listeners of the da'wah radio stations 11:28 that synergize with Silaturahim Radio, 11:31 who help broadcast the studies on 11:33 Silaturahim AM720 for a unified Islam, 11:35 or the viewers who tune in via the 11:37 Rasil TV YouTube channel wherever they 11:40 may be. May Allah protect you all and 11:43 us as well. Amen. Allahumma Amen. This 11:47 afternoon, the theme of our midday 11:49 sermon is based on an expression or 11:52 pearl of wisdom from the Commander of 11:55 the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Thalib, 11:58 may Allah be pleased with them both and 12:01 peace be upon them. He stated it in a 12:06 brief expression, which, after his time 12:09 , was popularized again by Sayyidina 12:12 Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, whose story with 12:15 his son is well-known. What is that 12:19 expression? Rahimallahu imroan arafa 12:22 qadra nafsih. May Allah have mercy on a 12:27 person who knows, recognizes, 12:30 understands, and realizes their own 12:32 level. 12:34 >> Level. 12:35 >> Their own measure and capacity. The 12:37 word 'qadar' here means measure, yes. 12:39 Proportion. 12:40 >> That proportion. Now, we will study 12:44 this expression, and besides 12:46 originating from this pearl of wisdom, 12:50 it is certainly a fruit of his studies 12:54 under the Prophet. Because he, Imam Ali 12:57 , is known as the gateway to the city 12:59 of the Prophet's knowledge. 13:02 >> H. Meaning, what he conveys are pearls 13:05 derived from the conclusions of his 13:08 studies, 13:10 >> his apprenticeship under the Prophet 13:12 Muhammad. And surely, the Prophet 13:15 provided enlightenment and teaching to 13:17 his students, especially to the gateway 13:20 of his knowledge. Imam Ali bin Abi 13:24 Talib, father of the Hasanain, may the 13:27 peace of Allah the Exalted be upon him, 13:30 is a figure illuminated by the light of 13:33 the Qur'an with profound insights. 13:38 Because, of course, the Qur'an does not 13:42 only teach humans to recognize their 13:45 true selves, 13:48 >> but also to know their position, their 13:51 boundaries, the source of their 13:53 nobility, their duties, and where they 13:56 will ultimately return. 13:58 >> Yes. 13:59 >> Where they come from, and where they 14:01 will return to. 14:02 >> Return. An example is a verse in the 14:05 Qur'an where Allah says, in the Qur'an, 14:08 Surah Al-Baqarah. Kaifa takfuruna 14:11 billah. If I'm not mistaken, verse 28. 14:14 >> Kaifa takfuruna billah. How can you 14:17 deny and close yourselves off from 14:21 Allah? 14:23 >> H. 14:24 >> Wauntum amwata. It means that for a 14:28 person to close themselves off is truly 14:30 dangerous. 14:30 >> Yes. 14:31 >> It’s no longer a matter of not 14:32 knowing. They already know, but they 14:34 just don't want to; 14:35 >> they close themselves off. 14:36 >> Yes. Because the difference between a 14:38 polytheist and a disbeliever is clear. 14:40 A polytheist starts from a state of 14:43 ignorance. 14:44 >> He. 14:45 >> They commit polytheism because there 14:47 was no information 14:49 >> or education that reached them. 14:51 >> They simply don't know at all. 14:52 >> Usually, polytheists are just like that 14:54 ; they could even become atheists or 14:55 the like. 14:56 >> However, it is different from a 14:57 disbeliever (kafir). 14:59 >> What does the word "kafir" mean? Cover. 15:01 Cover. Take this phone, for example. 15:03 >> It has a cover, right? 15:04 >> A cover, yes. 15:04 >> What is that cover? A lid or a shield, 15:06 right? 15:06 >> A cover, yes. 15:07 >> So, it means a person who has 15:08 intentionally closed themselves off. 15:10 Now, a disbeliever usually falls into 15:13 disbelief after having knowledge, 15:16 >> after having education, 15:17 >> after knowing 15:18 >> about it. Yet, they choose to close 15:21 themselves off and deny. Closing 15:24 themselves off from the truth, denying 15:26 the truth. Kaifa takfuruna billah? 15:30 Wauntum amwatan. Even though, initially 15:35 , you were in a phase of being "dead"( 15:39 mayit). Meaning dead. 15:42 >> H 15:43 >> dead here does not mean like inanimate 15:45 objects, no. It means there is life. 15:48 >> Because Allah first created the soul. 15:50 >> Yes 15:51 >> before gathering them in the realm of 15:52 souls. The dimension of the soul phase 15:54 >> before being moved to the womb. 15:57 >> That is what is meant by "wauntum 15:59 amwata." Where you were initially "dead 16:02 ." 16:03 >> H 16:04 >> not yet possessing the proper functions 16:06 . 16:07 >> Faahyakum. Then Allah gave you life. 16:11 This is the second phase. 16:12 >> He. 16:13 >> After death comes life. In fact, in 16:17 Surah Al-Mulk verse 2, Allah Jalla 16:20 Jalaluhu informs us about Himself, who 16:22 Allah is. After Allah says, " 16:26 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim." 16:28 Tabarakalladzi biyadihil mulk wahua ala 16:33 kulli syaaiin qodir. Tabarakalladzi 16:38 biyadihil mulk. Blessed is the Being in 16:44 whose hand is the absolute power and 16:46 ownership. H 16:49 >> wahua ala kulli syaiin qadir. And He is 16:52 the Lord who is "ala kulli syaiin qadir 16:56 ," 16:57 >> over all things, He is All-Powerful. 17:02 >> He is the One who created death and 17:05 life. Who created death, then life. 17:13 >> What is the purpose? Allah created 17:15 death, a state of non-function. Then a 17:18 temporary life in the world with the 17:21 purpose of liyabluakum, to test you. 17:25 Ayyukum, who among you? Ahsanu, the 17:29 best in terms of deeds and works. 17:32 >> So there is a purpose, yes. 17:33 >> There is a purpose here. This is so we 17:35 recognize our own worth. 17:37 >> Our own measure. 17:38 >> So, the first phase that Allah ordained 17:41 for us is the phase of death. H 17:44 >> We were created by Allah, our souls are 17:46 part of Allah's creation. 17:49 >> Gathered in the realm of souls in a 17:52 state of non-function. 17:54 >> Or, dead. So if a person in the world 17:56 has no work, it is the same as being... 17:58 >> Dead. 18:00 >> Faahyakum. Then Allah gave you life. 18:03 >> Where? Fil hayatid dunya. In a 18:06 temporary life. Tumma yumitukum. Then 18:11 Allah causes you to die again. 18:15 >> Tumma yuhyikum. Fourthly, Allah brings 18:17 you back to life. Dead, alive. Dead, 18:20 alive. Tumma ilaihi turjiun. Then you 18:24 will be returned to Allah to account 18:27 for what you did during the second 18:30 phase, which is life in this world. 18:35 >> Allah is Generous. Look at that, yes. 18:38 Now, therefore, when Imam Ali said, " 18:42 Rahimahullahu imraan arafa qadr nafsah, 18:47 " may Allah have mercy on those who are 18:52 aware and know their own worth. 18:58 Therefore, from the beginning of 19:00 creation until our return, one 19:02 beautiful entry point for this theme is 19:05 the expression, "Man arafa nafsah arafa 19:07 haddah." When a person is able to know 19:12 themselves, they will surely know their 19:14 own limitations. 19:17 >> Then, "Waman arafa haddah arafa rabbah. 19:21 " Those who know who they are and their 19:24 limitations, 19:25 >> will know who their Creator is. 19:27 >> Their Creator. " 19:29 >> Waman arafa arafa qadrah." If a person 19:33 knows, truly knows their Lord, then 19:36 that is one who truly knows their own 19:39 self. 19:42 >> We are abdun mamluk. We are servants 19:46 who have an Owner. The Owner is Rabbul 19:52 Abid, Rabbul ibad, the Creator, Owner, 19:55 Sustainer, Giver of life, Provider, 19:57 Feeder, and the One who causes our 20:00 death, which is Allah jalla jalaluhu. 20:04 Yes, that is it. Now, that sentence is 20:07 not a verse of the Quran, it was indeed 20:09 the expression of Imam Ali. 20:11 >> But its meaning can be reflected upon 20:13 and illuminated 20:15 >> through various divine signs. One 20:17 example is recognizing the origin of 20:20 our existence. In Quran Surah Abasa, 20:23 there is a verse that reads like this. 20:26 In verses 17 to 19, for example. Quran 20:30 Surah Abasa, the 80th surah. Allah says 20:34 , "Qutilal insanu maa akfarah.""Min 20:41 ayyi syaaiin khalaqoh.""Min nutfatin 20:47 khalaqahu faqaddaroah tumm sabila 20:52 yassarah tumma amatahu faqbarah tumma 20:57 idza syaa ansyarah." God says, "Qutilal 21:10 insan ma akfarah." This human is 21:14 wretched. 21:16 >> Wretched, the human perishes. How so? 21:20 The one who does this thing. Ma akfarah 21:22 . How ungrateful is the human toward 21:24 their Lord. Oh, human, so arrogant and 21:29 conceited, closing yourself off from 21:31 following the truth that comes from God 21:33 . So for a person like this, woe to 21:37 them, they are doomed. 21:39 >> Now, they don't realize min ayyin 21:44 khalaqah. From what, exactly? Yes, from 21:47 what? What is it that God created them 21:51 from? Do they not know, do they not 21:54 recognize it? How can they be so 21:56 defiant against God? As the Qur'an 21:58 mentioned earlier kuntum amwatan 22:02 faahyakum tumma yumitukumma yuhyikumma 22:04 ilaihi turjaun. 22:07 >> How can one still be defiant? Do they 22:10 not know what God created them from? 22:14 Min nutfatin. Only from a drop of semen 22:17 that comes from sulalatin min thin. 22:21 From the essence of clay. Thin is black 22:25 , foul-smelling soil. 22:28 >> That is what a human is. Then that 22:31 essence is consumed by the body and 22:33 becomes sperm. A biological union 22:36 occurs, meeting the ovum. Allahu Akbar. 22:40 So low, so weak, so despicable. Nutfah, 22:44 which is called despicable water. 22:48 >> Faqaddarah. Then it is God who, what is 22:51 it called? Determines its measure. 22:54 Measure. 22:55 >> That God Almighty created them fi 22:57 ahsani taqwim. However, the measures, 23:01 dimensions, and various things related 23:04 to their creation. God sets them, God 23:07 determines them. 23:09 >> Let's try to recognize ourselves. Min 23:12 ayyin khalaqah? Min nutfatin khalaqahu 23:16 faqaddarah. We were created by God from 23:19 a drop of despicable water. Then God 23:22 made its measure and dimensions so 23:24 perfectly. Min nutfatin khalaqahu 23:27 faqaddarah, thumma as-sabila yassarah. 23:31 Then after being born, their life's 23:35 journey is always made easy by God. 23:39 Then, the path from when they are born 23:43 >> cannot yet turn over. Then they can 23:45 turn over, lie on their stomach, roll 23:47 over. 23:48 >> Rise up, yes, sit. 23:50 >> Sit, then stand. Stand. 23:52 >> Walk. 23:53 >> Walking, stumbling, taking steps until 23:55 finally standing upright. Balagha 23:58 asyuddah, until reaching adulthood. 24:01 >> These are all eases. Remember, thumma 24:03 as-sabila yassarah. It is God who 24:06 provides that ease. After that, what? 24:09 Enter into weakness 24:12 >> or not weakness. After reaching 24:14 adulthood, mature. The word asyudd is a 24:16 description of what? Bulughu asyuddah 24:18 means maturity of form, maturity of 24:20 size, maturity of mind. 24:22 >> Everything is mature. 24:23 >> After that, entering the phase that God 24:26 mentioned, thumma yumituhu fa-aqbarahu, 24:28 then He caused him to die and buried 24:31 him. Then God causes them to die, when 24:35 they were once strong, able to run, 24:37 able to act, able to disturb, hurt, 24:39 take, do good, and various other things 24:41 . And God made all those paths easy. 24:45 God causes death. Back again. Meaning 24:48 God separates the soul from the body so 24:51 the body no longer functions. Inqatha'a 24:56 'amaluh, their deeds and works are cut 24:59 off. 25:00 >> Yes. 25:01 >> Fa-aqbarah. Then God buries them, 25:04 places them in the grave. A place that 25:08 is truly very narrow. A small rented 25:12 house. Oh, complaining. My small house 25:15 is so narrow. The size is very small. 25:17 At most, only 15 square meters. Eh, 25:20 later there is the true house, the 25:23 eternal house 25:25 >> which is even smaller, only 2 meters 25:28 only. Allahu Akbar. Even then, one is 25:31 still placed in a burial niche, a small 25:34 hole. 25:34 >> Even smaller, yes. 25:36 >> Tucked in there. 25:37 >> Yes. 25:38 >> Placed face-down, with the face 25:40 touching the earth. 25:42 >> Then buried with soil, covered with 25:45 earth. Covered with boards, leveled 25:47 with soil, stepped on. Faakbar. Then 25:52 placed into the grave. Allah is the One 25:55 who places them there technically 25:57 through those around them. 26:00 >> Tumma amatahu faqbarah. Tumma idza syaa 26:04 ansyarah. Now, then when Allah 26:08 Subhanahu wa ta'ala wills it, He will 26:11 resurrect them again. Yumitukum tumma 26:16 ilaihi turjaun, resurrected for what? 26:20 So much so that it is depicted in Quran 26:22 Surah Yasin, a condition that is so 26:24 astonishing. People in their graves are 26:28 shocked when the trumpet is blown, 26:30 resurrected from the grave. So they say 26:35 , "Qalu ya wailana man ba'atsana mim 26:38 marqadina." Huh, woe to us. Who are 26:45 those who raised us from our sleeping 26:47 place? Oh, sleeping for so long in the 26:50 grave, then raised from the grave as 26:52 depicted in the Quran. Kajaradin 26:55 muntasyir. Like locusts that are 26:58 >> flying 26:58 >> scattered about. See, people rising 27:00 from the grave in such numbers. 27:02 >> Because until today, there has been no 27:03 day of resurrection yet. 27:04 >> Not yet. Still in the graveyard. 27:05 >> Yes. Our fathers, 27:07 >> later 27:07 >> our mothers who have passed away, our 27:09 grandparents, our ancestors, even 27:11 Prophet Muhammad himself—who taught 27:13 these verses—has not been resurrected 27:15 yet. 27:16 >> Even Prophet Adam himself 27:17 >> has not 27:17 >> not yet either. So that picture, that 27:20 condition is, mashallah. Everyone is 27:22 resurrected at one time while screaming 27:25 . What is their scream? Ya wailana man 27:27 ba'atsana min marqadina. Then it is 27:30 answered, a voice answers, it is 27:32 mentioned the angels answer, "Ma 27:34 wa'adar-Rahman." This is the promise 27:38 that was recited, conveyed by Allah, 27:40 the Most Merciful. 27:42 >> Who conveyed it? The messengers, so it 27:45 is mentioned "wa sadaqal-mursalun." How 27:48 true it was, what was conveyed by the 27:51 messengers of Allah. 27:53 >> They are resurrected. 27:54 >> Hm. 27:55 >> Tumma idza syaa ansyarah. Kalla lamma 28:00 yaqdi ma amarah. Do not be like that. 28:04 Truly, this human has not yet completed 28:08 what was commanded by his Lord. See. 28:14 Just resurrected, yet his tasks are not 28:16 finished. 28:18 >> This is the picture, lailahaillallah. 28:22 So, recognizing one's own level begins 28:24 with recognizing our own origins. 28:28 >> We come from a base fluid. That is weak 28:34 . It comes out from a dirty place too. 28:37 Then what is there to be arrogant about 28:39 ? Humans are not what they imagine 28:42 themselves to be based on strength. 28:45 Because khuliqal insanu da'ifa, humans 28:47 were created in a state of weakness. 28:50 Yes, sometimes what are these humans? 28:52 What do they imagine themselves to be? 28:54 Based on strength. So humans have power 28:57 , 28:57 >> have wealth, status, and knowledge. No. 29:01 Humans originally are just nutfah, a 29:04 drop of semen. Then Allah creates and 29:08 determines its measure. Now, when 29:12 someone knows their own origins, the 29:14 fruit that will appear is that they 29:17 will not easily be arrogant. 29:20 >> Arrogant. 29:21 >> Let alone conceited, feeling greater or 29:24 better than others. 29:26 >> Hm. 29:27 >> It’s troublesome if one has the 29:28 disease of "feeling," it’s 29:29 troublesome. 29:30 >> Hm. Feeling great means they are not 29:31 great. 29:32 >> Yes. Just a feeling, right? 29:33 >> Just a feeling. Istikbar 29:36 >> is feeling great. 29:38 >> He. 29:38 >> Even though they are not 29:39 >> not 29:40 >> great. 29:41 >> Feeling knowledgeable even though one 29:43 is still ignorant. 29:45 >> Feeling rich even though one is very 29:47 weak. The feeling of 29:50 >> being part of that mental, mental, 29:51 mental, mental, mental, mental disorder 29:52 . 29:52 >> And every human has, has that ego. 29:54 Ustaz. 29:55 >> Oh, 29:55 >> definitely. 29:56 >> That's why, if we continue earlier, 29:58 what is the name of the Quran surah? 30:00 Abasa, when Allah tells about the 30:03 origins of humans, then Allah says how 30:05 so that you are aware of where we come 30:08 from, so that an awareness grows to 30:10 want to know oneself. Falyanzuril 30:13 insanu ila thaamih. 30:17 >> Humans should look at their food. 30:24 >> Their food? 30:24 >> What is the connection? 30:25 >> Yes. If a person's intake is wrong, 30:28 they will not know who they are. Why? 30:31 Hindered by foods that are not halal 30:34 and not tayyib (wholesome). 30:36 >> H. 30:37 >> They will not know their God. 30:38 >> Yes. 30:40 >> Now, if a person doesn't know their God 30:42 , they won't know them 30:43 >> selves. 30:45 >> Or conversely, one will not be able to 30:46 know oneself. Now, if a person can't 30:48 know themselves, they won't be able to 30:50 know who their God is. That's why Allah 30:52 said earlier, "Falyanzuril insanu ila 30:53 thaamih.""Falyanzuril insanu ila 30:56 thaamih." O human, look at your food. 31:00 If now we just, we don't care, whatever 31:02 the food is 31:03 >> we don't look at whether it is halal, 31:06 whether it is tayyib, is the object 31:09 halal, is obtaining it halal, is the 31:12 method halal, is the process halal? 31:15 Starting from the downstream, from the 31:17 downstream to 31:18 >> the upstream. 31:19 >> Yes. What is upstream? From upstream to 31:21 downstream. 31:22 >> Now, look at all of that, is it really 31:24 tayyib or not? Oh, it's halal but not 31:28 tayyib. Do not eat it. 31:30 >> H. 31:31 >> It's already halal, it's already tayyib 31:32 , but it doesn't mention the name of 31:34 Allah. 31:34 >> Yes. 31:35 >> Whereas Allah in Quran Surah Al-An'am 31:38 emphasizes, "Wala ta'kulu mimma lam 31:41 yuzkarismullahi alaih wa innahu 31:43 lafisquun." Do not eat something that 31:47 does not have the name of Allah 31:49 mentioned upon it. 31:52 >> Wa innahu lafisqun. Because eating 31:54 something where there is no mention of 31:56 the name of Allah there. Yes, the name 31:59 of Allah is not mentioned there. 32:02 Lafisquun surely leads to wickedness. 32:06 >> Wickedness, 32:07 >> that. If a person is already wicked ( 32:09 fasiq), they won't know their God. 32:10 >> He. 32:11 >> If a person is already wicked, they 32:12 won't know who they are. So what is the 32:14 key then? Look at our food. 32:17 >> Now we just use what, online. 32:20 >> Directly online. 32:21 >> We don't know if the cook says 32:23 bismillah, if the cook prays or not, if 32:25 the cook mixes halal and haram or not. 32:28 >> Whereas, for example, there is a 32:30 trending article that broiler chickens, 32:32 their feed is known to be what? Feed 32:34 pellets. 32:34 >> Eating pellets, right? 32:35 >> Yes. 32:35 >> Just mixed with 32:37 >> pig bones. 32:39 >> Oh God. There is also that. There is 32:42 that. 32:42 >> Yes. 32:43 >> Well. What is the connection? We eat 32:44 chicken meat, right? Oh yes, but the 32:46 meat grows from where? 32:48 >> Its growth 32:48 >> grows from where? From dirty and haram 32:51 foods. Even in Fiqh, it is makruh ( 32:54 disliked) to eat jalalah animals. What 32:57 is a jalalah animal? Animals that are 33:00 halal. 33:01 >> He. 33:01 >> But their food is najis (impure). 33:03 >> Yes. Yes. Correct. Correct. 33:05 >> For example, freshwater fish. 33:09 >> Yeah. 33:09 >> Yes. What do they eat? Waste. Their 33:12 waste... 33:12 >> human waste. 33:14 >> Yes. 33:14 >> Above it 33:15 >> a latrine. Below it, fish. A fish pond. 33:19 >> Where do the fish grow from? From our 33:21 waste. God forbid. We eat the meat 33:24 again. 33:25 >> That is very unhealthy. 33:26 >> Ocean fish, but they eat waste and 33:29 toxins, mercury, and so on. 33:32 >> We eat the meat 33:34 >> contaminated. 33:35 >> Contaminated again, right? And so on, 33:39 you know. Ah, catfish. For example, 33:42 catfish, many people like catfish, 33:44 right? 33:44 >> Fried catfish. 33:45 >> Oh, don't ask. But who raises them? 33:49 Non-Muslims? 33:50 >> Yeah. 33:51 >> In Tangerang, they keep pig pens above, 33:53 catfish below. 33:54 >> The waste goes in there, you see. 33:56 >> Ah, what is this? "Falyanuril insan ila 34:00 thaam." Correct. Correct. 34:03 >> You won't know yourself, let alone your 34:05 Lord, if you are full of waste. Yes. So 34:17 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala teaches us, 34:21 first, to know ourselves and our 34:23 origins. Second, to know and realize 34:27 that when you have dignity, remember, 34:31 know, and be aware that this dignity is 34:35 not independent, but a gift from Allah. 34:41 Remember, the dignity we possess is not 34:45 independent. 34:46 >> Yes. 34:47 >> Is it ancestral dignity, is it IQ 34:50 dignity? What kind of dignity? Is it 34:53 physical? Remember, that is not 34:55 independent, 34:57 >> it is a gift from God. The dignity is 35:01 given by God. Now, if it is a grant, it 35:05 could be taken back. Allah says in the 35:09 Quran, Surah Al-Isra. "Walaqad karramna 35:13 bani""Adam." Sorry, the Quran Surah, I 35:18 mean. "Walaqad karamna bani Adam." And 35:21 truly We have given dignity to the 35:24 children of Adam. That means human 35:29 dignity comes from Allah, not merely 35:32 from one's own creation. Therefore, 35:35 understanding one's own worth does not 35:37 mean belittling oneself. On the 35:40 contrary, one must know that they have 35:42 dignity given by Allah Ta'ala so that 35:44 they do not dare to overstep boundaries 35:47 and do not belittle themselves either. 35:50 Why? Because they realize dignity comes 35:54 from Allah. 35:55 >> So, just as Allah gives easily, Allah 35:58 can also easily take it back when we 36:01 are negligent, careless, or even 36:03 arrogant and ungrateful to Allah. Where 36:06 is the Giver? The Giver of dignity to 36:09 us. After a short break, if there are 36:11 questions and answers or whatever, we 36:13 will continue, Insha'Allah. 36:14 >> Alright, we will continue. If you would 36:17 like to ask, join, or comment, please 36:19 send them to us at 0811999720. We will 36:25 return. Yes. 42:36 >> Radio Rasil, for the one Islam, still 42:38 with us, Iwan Awat on the afternoon 42:40 lecture program with Ustaz Pahwas 42:41 Abizzawiyah, discussing the theme of 42:43 Allah's mercy for those who know and 42:45 realize their own worth. MasyaAllah. 42:48 People who know their worth will 42:50 receive Allah's mercy, Ustaz. Yes. They 42:52 will know their Lord, Allah Subhanahu 42:54 wa ta'ala. MasyaAllah. If a person is 42:56 known by God, mercy will surely always 42:58 cover them. 42:59 >> That's how it is. 43:00 >> MasyaAllah. Alright Ustaz, many have 43:03 joined now, commenting or asking 43:05 questions. These are greetings coming 43:07 from Mr. Sulaiman Thahir in Tambun, 43:09 Bekasi, who is listening; thank you for 43:11 the lecture this afternoon. 43:13 >> You're welcome. People from Tambun do 43:15 have that kind of voice, so thank you, 43:17 Mr. Sulaiman Thahir. 43:18 >> Yes, that's how they sound. I have a 43:20 friend, an acquaintance from there 43:22 named Bang Abdul Wahab. Yes. Yes. 43:25 >> He lives in Jakarta now. 43:27 >> Even now, when he speaks, that dialect 43:29 remains. 43:30 >> Ustaz, how are you, Ustaz? How are you 43:32 today? How... 43:33 >> that accent, right? 43:34 >> That accent. 43:35 >> Yes. Mr. Sulaiman, thank you for being 43:37 able to listen along with us. 43:39 Barakallah fikum. 43:40 >> There is also Mrs. Mariati in Sukabumi 43:42 listening via Tansa FM, she says. Thank 43:44 you, Ustaz. 43:45 >> Mrs. Siswati Rifai in Batam is also 43:48 here, and Mr. Amsir Tabrani is also 43:51 listening in. There is also Mr. Rasyid 43:55 from Tangerang, Mrs. Siti Jamilah, Mrs. 43:58 Nining, Mr. Setiowarno, and many more. 44:00 >> Masyaallah. 44:01 >> Questions are coming in, Ustaz. The 44:02 first one I will read 44:04 >> is from Mr. Rahman in Jakarta, Ustaz. 44:05 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi 44:06 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. 44:07 >> Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 44:09 wabarakatuh. Ustaz, does realizing our 44:12 own limitations mean we must always 44:15 feel sinful and fear Allah, 44:18 >> or are we allowed to feel calm by 44:20 hoping in His mercy and forgiveness? 44:24 Please explain, Ustaz. It is mentioned 44:26 in an expression, "khairul umur 44:29 ausatuha." The best of affairs is to be 44:32 moderate, in the middle. 44:34 >> In the middle. Someone who is 44:37 excessively fearful of Allah will lose 44:40 things that are part of their human 44:43 nature. Desire for food, 44:46 >> desire for drink, desire for the 44:48 opposite sex, desire to travel. They 44:51 all disappear. 44:52 >> Right. 44:52 >> If the fear, the*khauf*, dominates 44:56 >> within them. 44:57 >> Why be afraid? Oh, wanting to eat, 44:59 afraid it's haram; wanting to drink, 45:01 afraid it's a sin; 45:02 >> even intimacy with one's wife, they are 45:04 afraid. If it's adultery, the fear is 45:07 natural, as it is a religious command, 45:08 right, a command from Allah. 45:10 >> Now, there are others where the 45:12 opposite attitude of*raja'* 45:14 >> he 45:15 >> overcomes their fear. What is the 45:18 result? What is*raja '*? Hope. Yes, 45:20 >> hope. 45:21 >> Believing and hoping that God's 45:22 forgiveness is so vast. God is the most 45:24 forgiving, the most merciful. 45:26 >> That dominates them far more than their 45:28 fear. 45:29 >> And what is the result? Taking things 45:30 lightly. 45:30 >> Taking things lightly. Too relaxed, 45:32 really. 45:32 >> Too relaxed. Committing sins is fine. 45:34 Allah is most forgiving. Missing prayer 45:37 is fine. Heh. Allah is most forgiving. 45:39 Right? Right? Even sinning while 45:42 reciting*istighfar*. Committing sins 45:43 while saying*istighfar*. 45:45 >> Yes. There was an incident in the 45:47 Puncak area, you know, there are often 45:48 many Arab tourists there. 45:50 >> Bringing women on their left and right 45:52 —forgive me, we cannot assume they 45:54 are their wives because their 45:55 appearance is not that of a wife, right 45:57 ? 45:57 >> Like that. Holding alcoholic drinks. 46:00 >> Oh God. 46:01 >> And the left hand is holding prayer 46:03 beads. How is that? This one is for the 46:06 left... 46:07 >> it's like a mockery, isn't it? 46:08 >> Yes, that is harassment. 46:09 >> Definitely harassment. 46:10 >> Even though we don't know what was 46:10 being recited, right? 46:11 >> Isn't the tasbih prayer for reciting 46:13 tasbih, saying "subhanallah"? 46:15 >> So reciting tasbih is a depiction of 46:18 someone whose sense of hope is... 46:21 >> Excessive. 46:22 >> To the point of becoming overconfident 46:24 and arrogant, just arrogant. 46:26 >> Now, what is the middle ground? The 46:28 middle ground is what is called "ahlul 46:30 khasyah." 46:31 >> Hmm. "Wa amma yaksya.""Wa amma jaaka 46:36 yas'a wahua yakhya." What is "yaksya"? 46:40 "Yaksya" means a person whose fear... 46:43 >> He... 46:44 >> is balanced with their hope. 46:45 >> Yes. 46:47 >> Not overly fearful, and not 46:49 overconfident... 46:50 >> either. 46:51 >> Excessive. So, combining the attitude 46:56 of fear along with hope is called " 46:58 khasyah." 47:00 >> Khasyah. 47:01 >> I hope Allah bestows upon Mr. Rahman 47:04 and all of us... 47:05 >> an attitude of khasyah. Because Allah 47:07 Subhanahu wa ta'ala even had to say, " 47:10 Innama yaksyallaha min ibadihil ulama." 47:16 Indeed, those who always possess an 47:18 attitude of khasyah toward Allah are 47:21 the scholars. Some say in the... 47:28 >> rules of Quranic grammar, it's "innama 47:30 yaksyallaha min ibadihil ulama," right? 47:33 Now, this can be reversed. "Innama 47:35 yaksyallahu min ibadihil ulamaa." 47:39 >> What is the difference in meaning? It 47:40 is different. In the first one, it 47:43 means those who possess khasyah, both 47:45 fear and hope toward Allah, are the 47:47 scholars, the experts of knowledge. 47:50 >> The experts of knowledge. 47:51 >> Now, if you reverse the reading, how is 47:52 it? "Innama yaksyallahu min ibadihil 47:55 ulama." Allah always bestows the 47:59 feeling or quality of khasyah upon His 48:03 chosen servants, namely the scholars. 48:08 >> Is that right? I hope Allah bestows 48:11 upon Mr. Rahman and all of us the state 48:14 of always having a balance between fear 48:16 and hope in Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 48:20 >> Amen. Allahuma amen. 48:21 >> Amen, O Lord of the worlds. So, fear 48:23 and hope are balanced, ba... 48:24 >> balanced. That is khasyah. So, a 48:26 balance of fear and hope equals khasyah 48:29 . 48:29 >> That is fear plus hope. There is 48:33 another one, Ustaz, someone who just 48:34 arrived. This is a greeting from Mr. 48:37 Khairul Fanani, who is also tuning in. 48:40 >> MasyaAllah, jazakallah khair. 48:41 >> Okay, next is from Mr. Hadi. 48:42 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi 48:43 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. 48:44 >> Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 48:46 wabarakatuh. By the way, any news on 48:47 Mr. Baron? 48:48 >> Mr. Baron is tuning in, I see. Just 48:49 listening in. I am curious about Mr. 48:52 Baron watching. 48:53 >> He didn't come last time, right? 48:54 >> I think he hasn't, he hasn't arrived. 48:56 >> Let's invite him again for the Isra 48:57 Mi'raj commemoration, hopefully in the 48:59 new year. 48:59 >> New Year's prayer, God willing, 49:01 congregational dhikr. New Year is on 49:02 the 2nd. 49:03 >> February, uh, January. 49:04 >> January 2027, God willing, Saturday. 49:07 >> Alright Ustaz, Assalamualaikum 49:08 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 49:10 >> Waalaikumsalam warahmatullahi 49:11 wabarakatuh. 49:12 >> Sometimes someone feels they are the 49:13 most righteous because they have more 49:15 religious knowledge than others. How do 49:18 we distinguish between steadfastness in 49:21 the truth and hidden arrogance? Ustaz, 49:25 Yadzubillah, nazubillah, tumma 49:28 nazubillah. I mentioned earlier that 49:32 nowadays there are many illnesses or 49:34 psychological disorders where people 49:36 just "feel" things. " 49:38 >> Feeling" is dangerous, you know, " 49:40 feeling." How do we deal with people 49:43 who feel they know best... 49:44 >> know best. 49:45 >> Those who feel they know the most 49:46 actually know nothing. 49:48 >> Isn't that right? 49:49 >> The reality is they do not know. So, 49:52 people who feel they know the most, who 49:54 feel they are the most righteous, are 49:56 actually neither knowledgeable nor 49:57 righteous. That's it. To the point that 50:01 one of our teacher's expressions, 50:04 Sayyid Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ali bin 50:06 Abbas al-Maliki in Mecca, 50:09 >> he said, "Ya man zanna annahu qad 50:13 wasala, ya qad wasala." Those who think 50:17 to themselves, who feel they have 50:19 already arrived— 50:21 >> arrived at this knowledge or whatever 50:22 it may be. "Fainnahu lam yasil bal 50:27 yabda'u kama qala." Indeed, they have 50:30 not yet arrived. 50:31 >> In fact, the reality is that they are 50:33 just about to begin. 50:36 >> That's how it is. Now, how do we 50:37 distinguish them? Well, like this. As 50:42 long as what is being conveyed by that 50:44 person—who we'll say feels they are 50:47 the most righteous—is in the form of 50:49 Quranic texts that are firm and clear 50:51 in meaning. Then the truth of what is 50:56 conveyed must be followed, even if we 50:58 do not follow the person. I repeat, yes 51:01 . Yes. 51:02 >> So, for example, there is someone who 51:04 seems to feel they are the most 51:06 righteous, and then they present 51:08 arguments. If the text of that argument 51:12 , sourced from the Qur'an, is a 51:14 muhkamah verse—a verse that clearly 51:16 and firmly asserts a legal matter or 51:19 something else from divine guidance— 51:23 >> without multi-interpretation, 51:25 multi-meaning, or multi-understanding, 51:28 >> then that truth must be accepted. 51:31 >> Yes. 51:31 >> Even if it comes from someone who is 51:33 not worthy of conveying that truth. 51:35 >> Uh-huh. There is an expression like 51:37 this. "Unzur ma qala." Look at what 51:40 content they are conveying. Correct. 51:43 >> If it is the truth, take the truth. " 51:46 >> Wa la tanzur man qala." Do not look at 51:48 who said it. 51:49 >> Yes. 51:50 >> Don't look at that. 51:51 >> Look at the content. Look at the truth 51:52 of it. 51:53 >> Yes. As long as the content—the 51:55 maqala—is the truth that comes from a 51:58 correct source. 51:59 >> We accept it. But we do not look at who 52:03 the person is. H. 52:06 >> There was a story, you know. I was just 52:08 discussing this with Ustaz Husein 52:09 earlier. 52:10 >> There was a preacher whose grammar was 52:14 neat, good, easy to understand, and his 52:17 delivery was always correct. But 52:21 outside the pulpit— 52:22 >> Uh-huh. 52:23 >> his behavior was not correct. 52:24 >> Yes. 52:25 >> It was mentioned that someone even saw 52:27 him drinking alcohol. 52:28 >> Uh-huh. Uh-huh. But when he was on the 52:30 pulpit with his attire, 52:32 >> his appearance, his content, the 52:35 substance was so good. 52:37 >> Yes. So, just "khuz ma safa"—take 52:40 what is pure, 52:41 >> that which is— 52:42 >> the content of it, "wa da' ma kadar"— 52:44 leave the bad part of it. 52:46 >> Don't follow the person. Done. 52:48 >> Even though the bearer of truth's 52:50 values should ideally be in line with 52:53 their behavior. But if it contradicts, 52:57 take the truth and leave the person who 53:00 carried it, just like that. 53:03 >> Wallahu ta'ala a'lam bishawab Ahad. 53:05 >> Masyaallah, Ustaz, perhaps before we 53:07 conclude, Ustaz, there is one more who 53:08 is asking. 53:09 >> Mr. Ahad, it says here. Assalamualaikum 53:10 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Ustaz. 53:11 >> Ahad, this is the very last one, okay? 53:13 The last one. 53:14 >> It just so happens the name is also Mr. 53:15 Ahad, right. This is the final one. 53:17 What is the difference between a Faqih 53:20 and an Ulama, Ustaz? 53:21 >> Oh, masyaallah. 53:23 >> Barakallah fikum. This is a very good 53:25 question from the Qur'an, Kang Fahri. 53:29 >> Yes. 53:29 >> 30 juz, 114 surahs, 6,236 verses or 666 53:36 verses. There is not a single verse in 53:42 the Qur'an that states that the word ' 53:45 ulama' is exclusive to religious 53:48 scholars. None. 53:51 >> None, Ustaz. 53:52 >> None. The word 'ulama' means 53:57 intellectuals. People who possess 54:01 extensive knowledge. Knowledge of what? 54:04 Any kind of knowledge? So, not 54:07 religious experts. 54:08 >> Yes. 54:09 >> Religious experts are called faqihuddin 54:11 . Faqihuddin, 54:13 >> people who are deep in religious 54:15 matters or study religious affairs in 54:17 depth. Now they are known as rijaluddin 54:20 , 54:22 >> right? Religious experts. So the word ' 54:24 ulama' does not mean religious experts, 54:26 >> but experts in knowledge, 54:27 >> experts in knowledge, 54:28 >> intellectuals. 54:29 >> In our language, 54:31 >> in our language now, 'ulama' is 54:32 reserved for religious experts. 54:34 >> Yeah. 54:34 >> No. Scientific experts. For example, 54:37 biologists. 54:37 >> Yeah. 54:38 >> That means ulama in the field of 54:40 biology. Medical experts, alim ulama in 54:43 the field of medicine. Yes. 54:46 >> So actually, the Ulama Council is a 54:48 collection 54:49 >> of ulama, right? A collection of 54:51 intellectuals. Actually, it's the same 54:53 as ICMI. 54:54 >> Hm. 54:55 >> Actually, based on the definition of 54:57 the language. 54:58 >> The word Indonesian Ulama Council is 55:01 the same as ICMI, 55:03 >> Indonesian Association of Muslim 55:05 Intellectuals. 55:07 >> If the intent is religious experts, 55:10 fiqh experts, tafsir experts, hadith 55:13 experts, they are called faqihuddin. 55:16 >> Faqihuddin, that's exactly it, 55:17 >> people who study the field of religion 55:20 in depth are fakih, right? Not just 55:23 understanding, but people who practice 55:25 it. 55:27 >> That's why there is a verse that says " 55:29 walau nafar min kulli firqatin minhum 55:32 ta'ifatun liyatafaqahu fiddin 55:34 waliyunziru qawmahum""idza raja'u 55:39 ilaihim la'allahum yahdzarun." If only 55:42 some people would travel away from 55:44 their village. Who? A small group? A 55:49 small number from a village. What for, 55:52 leaving their village? Liyatafaqahu 55:55 fiddin. To study and specialize in the 55:59 understanding of religion. 56:03 >> For what? Liyundziruhum. The goal is to 56:07 give 'inzar', a warning, to their 56:09 people. 56:11 >> Raja'u. When they have returned to 56:13 their 56:14 >> village again. La'allahum yahdzarun. So 56:17 that they may be cautious. Those are 56:20 called fuqaha. Faqihuddin. 56:23 >> Like that. While ulama means 56:25 intellectuals. And if you open the 56:28 Qur'an, the verse about "innama 56:30 yakhsyallaha min 'ibadihil ulama", if 56:32 I'm not mistaken, it's in the Qur'an, 56:34 Surah Al-Ahqaf, right? Let me open it. 56:39 Surah Al-Ahqaf. Oh, sorry, Surah Fatir, 56:46 Surah Fatir verse 28, the previous 56:49 verse explains about the universe, 56:54 >> the earth, 56:54 >> yes. 56:55 >> Biology. Listen to verse 27, Allah says 56:58 , "Alam tara annallaha anzala 57:02 minas-sama'i ma'an""fa akhraja bihi 57:07 tsamaratin mukhtalifan alwanuha." O my 57:11 Messenger, do you not see or have you 57:14 not seen? 57:16 >> Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has sent down 57:18 water or rain from the sky, right? 57:20 >> Yes. 57:21 >> Fa akhrajna bihi. Then we brought forth 57:26 with that rainwater various fruits that 57:30 have different colors, tastes, and 57:34 shapes, from where? From the blessing 57:38 of the water that fell from the sky. 57:41 Then "wa minal-jibali judadun bidun wa 57:48 humrun mukhtalifun alwanuha wa rabighu 57:52 sud." Mountains are like that too. 57:56 >> Some are red, 57:58 >> white, reddish, and some are blackish. 58:01 This means, what is this verse talking 58:04 about? About geology. 58:06 >> Yes. 58:07 >> Earth and its surroundings, and biology 58:09 . Pay attention. "Waminanasi" and among 58:13 humans. "Waddawabi" creeping creatures, 58:19 "wal anami" livestock, "mukhtalifun 58:22 alwanuhu kadzalik" likewise have 58:25 different colors and types, right? " 58:31 Innama yaksyallaha min ibadiihil ulama. 58:34 " Indeed, those who always have 58:38 khasyiah (awe) for Allah among His 58:40 servants are the people of knowledge. 58:43 What kind of scholars are these now? If 58:45 you read the sequence of the verses, 58:46 it's called tanasubul ayat. 58:48 >> What are these verses, between 27 and 58:50 28, talking about? Earth science, right 58:52 ? Yes. 58:53 >> Natural science. 58:54 >> Mountain science. 58:55 >> So what are they? Earth science 58:58 scholars, 59:00 >> geologists, biology scholars, right? " 59:04 >> Innallaha azizun ghafur." This verse is 59:07 not talking about religious scholars, 59:08 no. 59:09 >> Yeah. 59:10 >> No, this is talking about experts in 59:12 earth science and scientists. 59:14 >> Scientists, biologists, and geologists. 59:17 >> Like that. Yes. 59:18 >> This verse does not state that scholars 59:20 are experts in fiqh, 59:22 >> experts in hadith, or experts in tafsir 59:24 . No. 59:25 >> So, there is no term "ulama" in the 59:27 Quran that 59:28 >> is only specifically for people who 59:30 understand religious sciences. No. It 59:32 doesn't exist. In fact, this verse 59:34 >> is related to what? Intellectuals, 59:36 earth science, natural science, and so 59:39 on. 59:39 >> That's it. If it was "tafaqquhu fiddin" 59:42 earlier, that verse is about the merit 59:45 of people who delve into understanding 59:48 religious knowledge. Where was that 59:50 verse earlier? Was it Surah Fatir, what 59:52 verse? Verses 27 and 28, right? If it's 59:55 the "liyatafaqquhu fiddin" one, this is 1:00:02 the Quran, "liyatafaqquh". This is 1:00:06 Quran Surah At-Tawbah, verse 122. That 1:00:11 is verse 122, yes. Very well, may Allah 1:00:15 Subhanahu wa ta'ala provide benefits. 1:00:17 >> Amen. God willing, we are limited by 1:00:19 time, Ustaz. 1:00:20 >> This is not finished yet, there is 1:00:21 still a lot, 1:00:22 >> the guide to self-knowledge, God 1:00:23 willing, in the next meeting. 1:00:24 MashaAllah. Perhaps there is something 1:00:26 you'd like to convey before leaving, 1:00:27 Ustaz. 1:00:27 >> Let's learn to mention mercy. Know 1:00:30 ourselves. 1:00:31 >> Know ourselves. May Allah Ta'ala have 1:00:33 mercy on us. So what will be the result 1:00:35 for us? Not easily, not easily arrogant 1:00:37 , 1:00:38 >> not easily proud, not easily 1:00:40 overconfident, 1:00:41 >> yes. Not forcing ourselves either, 1:00:44 right? 1:00:45 >> Even though we already know our limits, 1:00:46 right? 1:00:46 >> What's troublesome is when people don't 1:00:48 know their limits, 1:00:48 >> right? Finally, what happens? They 1:00:50 force themselves into things they don't 1:00:52 have the capability for. 1:00:53 >> Yes. Hopefully, Allah grants taufiq for 1:00:55 what we have heard from Allah's verses, 1:00:57 as mentioned in the prayer. 1:01:12 Subhanakallahumma wabihamdik, asyhadu 1:01:15 alla ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka, 1:01:18 bismillahirrahmanirrahim, innal insana 1:01:20 ...(inaudible) Wassalamu'alaikum 1:01:29 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 1:01:31 >> Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 1:01:32 wabarakatuh. Thus, we have listened 1:01:35 together to the presentation delivered 1:01:37 by the Ustaz regarding Allah's mercy 1:01:39 for those who know and realize their 1:01:40 limits. Hopefully, what the Ustaz 1:01:43 conveyed is very beneficial for 1:01:45 everyone. I, who am on duty, Pahri, 1:01:47 accompanied by Algi and also the 1:01:49 interns, bid farewell. May God grant us 1:01:51 success and guidance. Peace, mercy, and 1:01:52 blessings of God be upon you.
