If we were to 9:16 estimate, perhaps in percentages, maybe 9:23 70%of the Quran's content consists of 9:28 stories. And if we might wonder, why is 9:35 it that the Muslim community in 9:40 Indonesia has not yet risen to become a 9:42 major force? One of the answers I give 9:47 when asked why Indonesian Muslims, 9:49 despite their large numbers, have yet 9:52 to make a significant impact. My answer 9:57 is partly because we, the Muslims in 10:01 Indonesia, are only familiar with about 10:05 10 to 15%of the Quran's content. So, 10:10 that 10 to 15%covers commands like 10:13 prayer, fasting, zakat, and so on. Yet, 10:17 the vast majority is actually stories. 10:21 This means we still have a lot of 10:24 homework to learn from the Quran so 10:27 that the requirements to become a 10:31 strong community are truly fulfilled. 10:36 Because surely, there is a purpose why 10:39 Allah made the majority of the Quran 10:43 consist of stories. Yes, there is 10:47 certainly a purpose. Therefore, it is 10:53 from those stories that fundamental 10:56 lessons are born, as they shape one's 11:00 character or traits. Character traits. 11:06 That is why stories feature characters 11:09 and depict their struggles within the 11:12 narrative. So, it shapes character and 11:16 influences traits. This is where the 11:19 fundamental change lies. One may have 11:22 performed acts of worship like prayer, 11:25 fasting, zakat, hajj, and umrah, yet 11:29 their character remains unchanged. 11:32 Their traits have not changed, their 11:34 mindset has not changed, and their 11:36 perspective has not changed. Yet, as 11:39 mentioned, Allah presented these 11:41 stories to transform character, 11:44 attitude, mindset, and perspective. 11:48 Before entering the story of Pharaoh's 11:50 magicians, let me provide an example 11:52 first. For instance, the story of 11:54 Prophet Yusuf and his brothers. The 11:57 12th surah, Surah Yusuf. It is clearly 12:01 shown there how Allah recounts the 12:04 character of Prophet Yusuf in how he 12:09 faced and interacted with his brothers 12:11 who were very cruel to him. Later in 12:15 life, Prophet Yusuf forgave his 12:17 brothers very easily, as stated in 12:20 verse 93 of the 12th surah. The words 12:24 of Prophet Yusuf when he met his 12:25 brothers again, he said, "Audhubillahi 12:27 minash-shaytanir-rajim, la tathriba' 12:28 alaikumul-yaum." Prophet Yusuf said, " 12:34 Oh my brothers, from this day forward, 12:37 you will never hear me utter a word 12:40 that brings up the deeds you did to me 12:43 in the past." La tathriba ' 12:47 alaikumul-yaum, yaghfirullahu lakum. I 12:50 pray that Allah may forgive you all. 12:52 Seek forgiveness from Allah immediately 12:54 . Wa huwa arhamur-rahimin. In that 12:56 verse, Allah is the most forgiving and 12:58 the most merciful to you. This attitude 13:01 shown by Prophet Yusuf is not just a 13:04 fairy tale. But we must take a lesson 13:10 for our daily lives in how we treat our 13:14 siblings. Yes, that is our character. 13:19 Yes, that is how our character should 13:21 be. So, if someone performs formal 13:25 worship—prayer, fasting, zakat, Umrah 13:27 , Hajj—but remains at odds with their 13:30 siblings, it means they have not yet 13:33 practiced 70%of the Quran. Yes, that is 13:36 it. Of course, what do you call it? Um. 13:41 Problems never cease, do they? Problems 13:44 never stop. Even the character of 13:48 Yusuf's brothers, if we notice, was 13:50 truly cruel, they even tried to kill 13:52 Prophet Yusuf. Attempted to kill 13:55 Prophet Yusuf. Yet in the end, that was 13:59 the way Prophet Yusuf treated his 14:02 brothers. Now, tonight we open a story 14:06 that is rarely discussed, which is the 14:09 story of how Pharaoh's magicians 14:12 reacted when they saw the miracle. This 14:15 story is truly extraordinary. It is 14:18 found in at least three places in the 14:21 Quran. It is in Surah Al-A'raf, 14:24 starting from verse 120 to 126. Then we 14:27 find it again in Surah Taha, the 20th 14:30 surah, starting from verse 70 to verse 14:32 76. Likewise, we will find it in Surah 14:37 Ash-Shu'ara, the 26th surah, from verse 14:40 38 to 51. What we will delve into 14:44 tonight is Surah Ash-Shu'ara verses 38 14:46 to 51. Of course, all of them are 14:52 important to be explored. Because in 14:55 every story, in every place, even 14:57 though the story is the same, there are 15:00 different lessons. There are different 15:03 words used. When those different words 15:06 are combined, they form a complete 15:08 picture. Tonight, we might only discuss 15:11 the Ash-Shu'ara version. To the 15:14 brothers and sisters blessed by Allah, 15:16 and to the listeners of Radio 15:18 Silaturahim and viewers of Rasil TV. So 15:22 , in Surah Ash-Shu'ara, please, if 15:24 brothers and sisters would like to open 15:26 their Qurans at home, feel free to take 15:28 a look. The words of Allah there start 15:33 from verse 38 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara, the 15:35 26th surah, yes, starting from verse 38 15:38 . Just like later in which surah? 15:43 Al-A'raf, where he was essentially 15:45 Pharaoh's prime minister, you could say 15:47 . His name was Haman, and he reported 15:50 that "This Moses is a sorcerer, you see 15:53 .""Inna la makrun makartumuhu 15:57 fil-madinah," and so on. "This is a 16:00 plot they are concocting." Something 16:02 like that. Then Pharaoh ordered them to 16:06 gather and find the most powerful 16:10 sorcerers from all corners of Egypt to 16:14 be pitted...Yes, pitted against Moses. 16:23 Now, in verse 38 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara, 16:26 "fajumi'as-saharatu," they gathered; 16:29 these sorcerers were collected at a " 16:32 miqati yawmin ma'lum," at an appointed 16:35 time. Then it was announced to all the 16:40 people of Egypt, "wa qila lin-nas," to 16:43 all of Egypt, "hal antum mujtami'un," 16:46 for them to gather to witness this 16:49 battle being prepared, or this trial of 16:52 strength, because Pharaoh felt Moses 16:55 was a sorcerer. They were truly 16:59 confident they would win. That is why 17:04 in verse 40, they said, "La'allana 17:07 nattabi'us-saharata in kanu 17:09 humul-ghalibin." So that once our 17:14 sorcerers win, then we will show the 17:18 impact of that victory. Meaning, to 17:22 resolve the issue of Pharaoh's 17:24 followers—or rather, Moses' followers 17:27 , who were already numerous. If he 17:30 loses, his followers will surely 17:32 abandon him. That’s the idea. Then in 17:35 the next verse. Now, this is where it 17:37 starts to get interesting. "Falamma 17:38 ja'as-saharatu qalu li-fir'awn." These 17:42 sorcerers said this to Pharaoh, showing 17:44 their true nature. "A-inna lana 17:47 la-ajran in kunna nahnul-ghalibin." It 17:49 is the same as in Surah Al-A'raf, and 17:52 the same in Surah Taha. The sorcerers 17:56 immediately asked Pharaoh, "What will 17:59 we get if we win?" Yes, just like that. 18:02 Then Pharaoh said, "Na'am wa innakum 18:05 laminal-muqarrabin," you will get the 18:07 greatest reward from me, which is to 18:09 become those near to me. That’s it. 18:13 Then Musa said to them, "Alqu ma antum 18:16 mulqun." Here, Moses said to them, "Go 18:20 ahead, cast what you intend to cast." 18:24 In Surah Al-A'raf, the sorcerers...what 18:29 ? They challenged Moses. "Go ahead and 18:31 cast whatever power you have, Moses." 18:34 Then Moses said, "Alqu ma antum mulqun. 18:38 " That is in Surah Al-A'raf. Now, then, 18:43 only after they cast...Their ropes and 18:48 their staffs, so to speak. This shows 18:53 that those ropes and staffs were a 18:56 metaphor, meaning whatever they threw 18:59 was something they had prepared very 19:02 thoroughly. Yes. Well, at that moment, 19:08 they chanted their slogan, "By the 19:10 might of Pharaoh, we shall surely be 19:13 the victors." Yes, they said, "By the 19:17 power of Pharaoh, we are truly going to 19:20 win." So they were absolutely certain 19:22 of victory. Then, "Fa-alqaa Musa." Then 19:25 Moses cast down his staff, "Fa-talqafu 19:28 maa ya'fikun." And this staff of Moses 19:31 swallowed up all that magic. Now, this 19:35 is where, dear brothers and sisters, 19:39 may Allah bless you, the sorcerers had 19:43 their great lesson; in verse 46, they 19:48 immediately realized and saw what 19:52 others around them could not. Just like 19:56 Pharaoh, who could not see. Could not 19:58 see what? They could not see the 20:00 miracle. So, Moses cast his staff, and 20:04 it devoured all the magic that had been 20:07 displayed. Now, because these sorcerers 20:12 were true experts who had deeply 20:15 studied the very craft that is our 20:19 topic today. They knew for certain, 20:26 they knew full well that what Moses 20:29 cast was not magic. It was not magic 20:34 that Moses cast. While others did not 20:37 realize it. So they realized this was 20:41 not man-made. Ah, because they realized 20:47 that, they understood it must be a 20:50 miracle, meaning it was made by God. 20:57 The Lord of Moses and Aaron. It is 21:00 impossible for a human to create 21:02 something like this. Now, that is the 21:03 difference between them and the other 21:05 people. So, as soon as they saw and 21:09 witnessed Moses 'staff devour all their 21:12 magic. "Fa-ulqiya-s-saharatum saajidin. 21:15 " The sorcerers immediately prostrated 21:17 themselves. Ah, in verse 47 they said, 21:22 "Qaaloo aamannaa bi-Rabbil-' aalamiin." 21:24 They immediately said, "We believe in 21:26 the Lord of the worlds.""Rábbi Musa wa 21:29 Harun." In the following verse, verse 21:31 48, namely the Lord of Moses and Aaron. 21:35 Now, even when Pharaoh was angry with 21:42 these sorcerers, Pharaoh was furious. 21:47 Yes, Pharaoh said this in verse 49, " 21:49 A-aamantum lahu qabla an aazana lakum." 21:54 "How dare you believe in Moses and 21:56 Aaron before I give you permission." 22:01 Then Pharaoh said, because Pharaoh did 22:02 not know and could not see the miracle, 22:04 he thought it was magic too. Pharaoh's 22:07 words were, "Innahu la-kabiirukum.""He 22:11 is your master who taught you magic."" 22:16 Now I know," said Pharaoh, "that this 22:18 Moses is your teacher.""This is all a 22:21 conspiracy.""Inna...""...madin." In 22:27 Surah Al-A'raf, this is described as a 22:30 plot. Pharaoh said, "You intentionally 22:33 set this up." Then they were threatened 22:35 by Pharaoh. "La-uqatti'anna aydiyakum 22:38 wa arjulakum min khilaafin wa 22:40 la-usallibannakum ajma'iin.""I will cut 22:43 off your hands and feet on opposite 22:45 sides." Meaning, crossing them, so if 22:48 the left foot is cut, the right hand is 22:51 cut with it. If the right foot, then 22:54 the left hand. Then I will use your 22:58 remaining limbs to crucify you on 23:00 stakes, to nail you there. Yes, like 23:04 that. Pharaoh was so cruel to these 23:07 magicians, magicians who had already 23:09 witnessed this miracle. Because they 23:13 had truly seen the miracle, were truly 23:15 aware, and knew it was a miracle, they 23:18 did not waver in the slightest. They 23:22 even said in verse 50, "qolu la daira." 23:26 They said, "Ah, none of that causes us 23:29 any harm.""You cut off my hands and 23:34 feet, even if you crucify me to death 23:36 on the cross, bleeding out.""La daira," 23:39 none of that causes harm. It’s fine. 23:42 Go ahead. "Inna ila rabbina munqalibun. 23:45 ""We will return to our Lord." Ah, then 23:49 they were all crucified, their feet 23:51 were cut off, they were all crucified. 23:54 The magicians who had repented upon 23:56 seeing this miracle. Uh, their words 24:00 were, "Inna natma'u an yaghfira lana 24:02 rabbuna khatayana.""We hope that our 24:06 Lord will forgive our sins all this 24:08 time.""An kunna awwala al-mu'minin."" 24:12 And we become the first of the 24:14 believers," ladies and gentlemen. So, 24:17 brothers and sisters who are blessed by 24:20 Allah, this story is extraordinary 24:22 because out of the many people who 24:25 gathered there, including Pharaoh who 24:28 was there, Haman who was there, seeing 24:30 Moses 'staff. Yes, the miracle at that 24:34 time was called the staff of Moses. 24:36 Everyone saw it but not everyone could 24:39 know that it was a miracle. The event 24:43 was seen by everyone, but they could 24:45 not witness the miracle itself. They 24:47 didn't know it was a miracle. Why? 24:51 Because they didn't have the knowledge. 24:54 Now, why were these magicians able to 24:57 immediately migrate, to immediately 24:59 believe after seeing Moses' staff? The 25:02 answer is because they possessed the 25:04 knowledge, possessed the expertise that 25:07 allowed them to see Allah's miracle 25:09 through the staff of Prophet Moses. 25:12 Others couldn't. They thought it was 25:15 magic, you see. They thought it was 25:16 magic. Yes. So, this is what it means. 25:20 This lesson is for us, if the lesson 25:22 back then was like this, ladies and 25:24 gentlemen, brothers and sisters. If 25:26 back in Moses 'time the miracle was a 25:30 staff. And everyone saw it, but not 25:35 everyone could witness the miracle. If 25:41 now that miracle, Allah's miracle, 25:45 still exists, it is called the Quran. 25:51 Everyone interacts with the Quran. 25:54 Everyone reads the Quran. There are 25:57 those who memorize the Quran. But not 26:01 everyone can witness the miracle of the 26:04 Quran. Even though they read it, even 26:10 though they memorize it. That seeing 26:16 that miracle requires knowledge. Yes, 26:20 where is the miracle of the Quran 26:23 exactly? Well, that requires knowledge. 26:26 How can it be called a miracle? What 26:27 does the word "miracle"(mukjizat) 26:28 actually mean? The word miracle is 26:30 taken from the word "i'jaz," which 26:33 means, uh, what? To collapse, right? To 26:36 collapse. To collapse what? To collapse 26:40 human logic. To collapse human thinking 26:43 so that one realizes that this is not a 26:47 human creation. Uh, like that. Like 26:52 these magicians of Pharaoh, because 26:54 they studied magic, they knew as soon 26:56 as they saw Moses' staff, they knew 26:58 this wasn't made by a person. This was 27:00 not made by humans. This must be God's 27:03 creation. Ah, they bowed down and 27:05 immediately believed. I believe in the 27:08 Lord of the worlds. The Lord of Moses 27:10 and Aaron. Threatened by Pharaoh. I 27:12 will cut off your feet. I will cut off 27:14 your hands. I will crucify you. I will 27:17 let you bleed to death on the cross. Oh 27:21 , that's fine. No problem at all. Go 27:24 right ahead. Ah, to that extent, ladies 27:26 and gentlemen. Why? Because they could 27:29 see the miracle. They could see the 27:32 miracle. And I feel, for myself, it is 27:36 dangerous if I interact with the Quran 27:39 but cannot see the Quran's miracle. So 27:44 the Quran just passes by. Because the 27:48 Quran is supposed to be a miracle for 27:50 all of us, right? So, seeing the Quran 27:54 just as a text and seeing the miracle 27:56 of the Quran are two different things. 28:02 Like Pharaoh at that time, the people 28:04 who were present saw the staff of 28:07 Prophet Moses, but not necessarily the 28:09 miracle. Those who could see the 28:12 miracle were the magicians. The 28:14 magicians who studied magic, right? 28:16 Those who studied magic. Because they 28:18 studied it, they knew this was not 28:20 magic. This is not man-made. This must 28:23 be God's creation. It couldn't be 28:26 anything else. So, the point is that we 28:31 must also have the ability to see the 28:36 Quran's miracle. Where the miracle 28:43 shows that it is not man-made. It is 28:47 not man-made. It certainly is not 28:49 man-made. Yes, that's it. What is the 28:51 proof? Now, that is important for us so 28:54 we can truly feel the miracle of the 28:56 Quran, ladies and gentlemen. Tonight, I 29:00 will give some examples so we can see 29:02 the miracle of the Quran, like taking 29:05 the lesson from the magicians of Moses 29:07 earlier. The, pardon me, the magicians 29:10 hired by Pharaoh earlier, ladies and 29:12 gentlemen. In the past, once again, 29:15 back then the miracle was the staff of 29:18 Prophet Moses, the miracle was in the 29:20 form of a staff. Now, the miracle, 29:25 God's miracle, is in the form of the 29:28 Quran. It is still with us. It is on 29:31 our bookshelves. It is on our mobile 29:34 phones. But the problem is, can we see 29:38 the miracle? Yes. Like that. Some 29:42 examples of the Quran's miracles, and I 29:45 think, or in my opinion, it is very 29:47 important for us to remember, to keep 29:50 in mind. So when we read the Quran, we 29:54 will know, oh, this is the miracle that 29:57 shows it is not man-made. If it is not 30:00 man-made, then it must be God's 30:02 creation, right? That is the miracle, 30:05 that is the i'jaz. Yes. First, ladies 30:08 and gentlemen, take the example of 30:11 God's word in Surah Az-Zumar, verse 6, 30:15 surah 39, right? Surah 39, God's word 30:18 there, I seek refuge in Allah from 30:21 Satan the accursed. Khalaqakum min 30:24 nafsin wahidah. God created you from 30:26 one soul. Thumma ja'ala minha zawjaha. 30:29 Then from there, his partner was 30:31 created. Yes, meaning from Adam, his 30:34 partner was then created. Waalaakum 30:37 minal anamiata azwaj. Then Allah 30:41 provided, or sent down, eight animals 30:44 in pairs from the livestock. Well, life 30:49 began from there, from Prophet Adam, 30:52 Mother Hawa, and the livestock. Now, in 30:57 the next part of the verse, it says " 30:58 yakluquukum." Now, this "yakluquukum," 31:02 He creates you "fi butuni umahatikum," 31:06 in the wombs or in your mother's 31:09 bellies, your mother's wombs, "khalqon" 31:12 as a creation "mim ba'di khalqin" that 31:16 processes, processing, uh, processing 31:19 from a drop of fluid, then into a clot 31:22 of blood, then into a lump of flesh. 31:27 Within that process, Allah mentions the 31:29 phrase for the process, which is 31:32 extraordinary here, "fi dulumatin 31:34 tsalatsin," that process, the process 31:37 inside the womb, yes, inside the belly, 31:40 yes, inside the womb. Meaning, after 31:43 entering this womb, before that, before 31:46 entering the womb, this process had not 31:49 yet occurred. The process is called by 31:52 Allah "fi dulumatin tsalatsin," in 31:55 three darknesses. Tsalatsin, three, 31:59 zulumatin tsalatsin, three darknesses. 32:03 Zalikumullahurabbukum lahul mulk. He is 32:05 Allah, your Lord, who possesses the 32:07 power of the kingdom. La ilaha illahu. 32:10 There is no god but Him. Faanna 32:12 tusrofun. Why are you being turned away 32:14 ? So, if we pay attention to this 32:16 sentence, it is extraordinary. 32:18 Zulumatin tsalatsin means these three 32:21 darknesses. And even more amazing, 32:24 those three darknesses exist in, uh, " 32:26 fi butuni umahatikum," inside the womb 32:28 of the belly. Inside the belly, yes. 32:31 Yes. So, ladies and gentlemen, brothers 32:33 and sisters who are blessed by Allah, 32:34 it turns out it is like this. The 32:37 process of human creation, before 32:40 reaching the womb, the process has 32:43 already occurred, namely in the 32:46 fallopian tubes. The fallopian tube is 32:50 located at the collarbone, the 32:52 collarbone area of a woman, you see. 32:55 The process has already occurred, but 32:57 it hasn't entered the womb yet. That is 33:00 what is now known by the term IVF or in 33:03 vitro fertilization, yes, test-tube 33:06 babies. What is a test-tube baby, 33:11 actually? It only replaces or only 33:16 takes a part of the fallopian tube 33:19 process. Not inside the womb, not just 33:23 in the fallopian tube. The fallopian 33:25 tube is the one at the collarbone. Well 33:27 , that's it. Well, it has already been 33:29 processing. But once it enters the womb 33:32 , then later in that IVF process, in 33:34 vitro fertilization, it is after 33:36 fertilization. So the fallopian tube 33:40 process is the first fertilization, 33:42 then it is injected into the womb. Well 33:45 , inside the womb, those three 33:47 darknesses occur. Now, this is 33:49 extraordinary. This is extraordinary. 33:52 The three darknesses referred to were 33:55 apparently only understood by modern 33:58 science around the 1870s, ladies and 34:01 gentlemen. Uh, there is an article that 34:07 I am showing on the TV screen or on 34:11 YouTube. So we have the concept of 34:17 three layers. So that lump of flesh 34:22 divides into three. Now, why is the 34:26 word "zulumat" used there? Because 34:30 before that, this lump of flesh had no 34:34 intelligence whatsoever. But once it 34:39 divides, it already knows what it is 34:42 supposed to become. That is where " 34:47 zulumat" acts as a symbol of ignorance, 34:50 or darkness. After that ignorance, 34:54 Allah grants it knowledge so each part 34:56 can perform its own duty. In science, 34:59 this is called the ectoderm, mesoderm, 35:03 and endoderm. Now, these are the three 35:07 layers. Yes, it starts from a zygote or 35:11 a lump of flesh, but then it turns into 35:13 three. Suddenly, it divides itself into 35:16 three. And those three will slowly 35:19 divide to fulfill their respective 35:21 tasks. At that moment, they already 35:23 know what they want or are going to 35:25 become. Some become our brain cells, 35:29 called neurons. Some become pigments, 35:34 pigment cells inside our skin. That is 35:37 why some people have black skin, white 35:40 skin, or yellow skin. Those cells come 35:43 from the three-part division mentioned 35:46 earlier. At first, it had no 35:48 intelligence to decide it wanted to be 35:51 this or that; it never did. Not at all. 35:54 That is why it is called "zulumat" or 35:56 darkness. After that, Allah grants 35:58 intelligence to these three layers to 36:01 divide into those parts. Some become 36:04 the bones that we have in our bodies 36:06 today. Some become our red blood cells. 36:10 I am showing this on my screen now. Our 36:12 red blood cells. Some become germ cells 36:16 , egg cells if it's a woman, or 36:19 spermatozoa if it's a man. They 36:23 originate from the zygote that divides 36:26 on its own. It does so on its own 36:28 because it already possesses knowledge. 36:30 Well, that is how it is. Before that, 36:32 it had none. Some become cells for our 36:38 lungs, some become cells in our stomach 36:41 , becoming our intestines. Ladies and 36:45 gentlemen, some become pancreatic cells 36:49 that build our pancreas and several 36:52 other glands in the endocrine system. 36:57 So, brothers and sisters, these three 37:00 layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and 37:03 endoderm, were only discovered by 37:06 medical science in 1817. And there are 37:12 indeed exactly three layers, and this 37:14 only occurs inside the womb; it does 37:17 not happen in the fallopian tube. 37:21 Therefore, the phrasing in Surah 37:24 Az-Zumar verse 6 is truly precise. " 37:29 Yakhlukum fi butun.""Fi butun." Inside 37:33 the womb/belly. Before reaching the 37:36 womb, this three-layer process has not 37:38 yet happened. In the fallopian tube, 37:40 right? Within that tube, there is the 37:42 fallopian passage. That is where these 37:45 three layers have not yet formed. But 37:47 once it reaches the womb—the womb is 37:50 inside the belly—of a woman, that is 37:53 when this process takes place. And 37:56 remarkably, the phrase "khalqon mim 37:58 ba'di khalqin" means process after 38:00 process. Yes, that is how it is. Yes, 38:04 process by process, event by event, 38:07 creation by creation, yes. Yes, 38:10 splitting into three then becoming this 38:12 , slowly becoming this, slowly becoming 38:13 this. That all happens inside the womb, 38:16 inside the belly; before that, while in 38:18 the fallopian tube, it doesn't happen. 38:20 And even more amazingly, God clearly 38:23 says three, three darknesses. Three 38:27 darknesses. Wow, extraordinary. So, 38:30 modern science only discovered this in 38:33 1817. Understanding this; the Quran had 38:37 already descended since the year 600, 38:39 if using the Gregorian calendar, yes, 38:41 the 600s. Yes. So, how many years is 38:47 the gap? About 1200 years difference 38:50 from modern knowledge, yes. Modern 38:55 knowledge only found out 1200 years 38:57 later what the Quran had already 39:01 explained precisely and accurately. 39:05 Like that. So, from here we understand 39:10 that Surah Az-Zumar verse 6 is not 39:14 man-made. This is not the work of a 39:18 Muhammad. It is impossible for him to 39:22 know what would only be researched 1200 39:24 years later. So, it is impossible. It 39:30 must be the work of the Lord of the 39:33 worlds, the Owner and Creator of 39:36 mankind. The phrasing is clear in its 39:38 sequence, its structure. And 39:42 authentically, it is truly*fi zulumatin 39:45 salasin*and*khalqon min ba'di min ba'di 39:48 khalqin*. Creation by creation, process 39:52 by process. *Fi butun*, inside the womb 39:56 , like that. Because that creation had 39:59 already started before the womb, in the 40:01 fallopian tube. Ah, extraordinary. 40:04 Extraordinary, audience. So, how could 40:07 a human being possibly create something 40:09 like this? Now, this is important for 40:13 us to know and keep in mind. Later, 40:16 when we read Surah Az-Zumar verse 6 40:19 again. We must be able to bring this 40:22 knowledge forth so we can see its 40:24 miracle. Then God says there, * 40:27 dhalikumullahu rabbukum lahul mulk*. 40:30 That is Allah. He is your Lord, yes. 40:37 The one who manages; Rabb, Rabb, Rabb, 40:40 Ilah, Malik. Aha. Those have different 40:43 meanings. Rabb means the one who 40:45 manages you, the one who guarantees you 40:48 . Rabb, yes, *lahul mulk*. He possesses 40:53 authority. *La ilaha illa hu*. Now, * 40:57 Ilah*means there is no god, meaning 41:00 there is no one worthy of worship 41:03 except Him. Because He is the one who 41:07 has, what is it, become the...what? 41:12 Your creator. Your Rabb, as mentioned 41:14 earlier. Your Rabb, the creator, the 41:17 harmonizer, like that. The guarantor of 41:20 you, Rabb, it all is contained in the 41:23 word Rabb. *La ilaha illa hu*. There is 41:26 no god that you should worship except 41:29 Him. *Fa anna tusrafun*. How could you 41:32 be turned away from all this? Like that 41:35 . So, ladies and gentlemen, brothers 41:37 and sisters who are blessed by Allah. 41:40 It is such a pity. It is a great pity 41:42 if we cannot feel its miracle. Yes. Yes 41:46 . We need to know that so we truly feel 41:50 the submission. Just as felt by the 41:53 magicians of Pharaoh when they saw the 41:55 staff of Moses. They knew it was not 41:59 man-made. So they were willing to 42:02 sacrifice their souls, their bodies 42:06 were cut by Pharaoh, mutilated while 42:08 they were still alive. Limbs were 42:10 severed, hands were severed, yet they 42:11 lived. Then they were crucified while 42:13 alive. Yes, even with blood flowing, 42:16 they said one final sentence. "Oh, it 42:21 doesn't matter, all of this holds no 42:24 harm for us." Ah, just like that. How 42:27 incredible their faith became, because 42:31 they had witnessed the miracle of 42:34 Prophet Moses’ staff, which was 42:36 indeed a miracle. Now, the miracle 42:41 today should be the Quran, and we 42:43 should be able to witness that too, 42:46 ladies and gentlemen. Yes, indeed. Now, 42:51 here is a second example of a miracle. 42:57 This is something often discussed, 42:59 specifically the Quranic miracle 43:00 described quite precisely. Surah 43:04 An-Naml, verse 18. Surah An-Naml, oh, 43:08 that's missing an 'm' there. Surah 43:10 An-Naml, chapter 27, verse 18. If we 43:14 only read the translation, we won't 43:17 grasp the miracle. Because in the 43:19 translation, the sentence is just like 43:21 this: "Until when they arrived— 43:23 meaning Prophet Solomon and his troops. 43:26 ""Until when they reached the valley of 43:30 the ants, an ant said, 'O ants, enter 43:32 your dwellings so that you are not 43:34 crushed by Solomon and his soldiers.'" 43:38 The miracle isn't visible there. But 43:41 once we go back to the Arabic text, it 43:44 becomes clear. Because there is a 'ta 43:47 marbuta' which indicates the feminine 43:49 gender. So, 'hatta' until when they 43:57 reached, meaning Solomon and his troops 44:00 reached the Valley of the Ants, 'qalat 44:03 namlatun' indicates the feminine, an 44:05 ant queen spoke. It should be 44:10 translated as "a female ant spoke.""Ya 44:13 ayyuhan." Now, there is no 'ta marbuta' 44:15 here. It indicates that those being 44:18 addressed are male ants. Male ants. "Ya 44:21 ayyuhan," 'ya ayyuhan' means many of 44:23 them. "Ya ayyuhan." 'Udkhulu' indicates 44:28 "you all enter," meaning many of them. 44:32 "Udkhulu masakinakum.""Enter you all 44:37 into your dwellings.""Kum" for plural. 44:41 The pronoun 'kum' is plural. "Do not 44:43 let yourselves be crushed by Solomon." 44:46 From that, we know that a female ant 44:51 was speaking to many male ants. Exactly 44:57 . And that is indeed what happens in an 45:02 ant colony. And remarkably, the phrase 45:05 'wadi an-naml' in the Quran literally 45:07 means the valley of the ants. It turns 45:11 out that in an ant colony, the daily 45:14 life consists of a queen ant leading 45:17 the colony, surrounded by male ants. 45:22 While the female ants that are not 45:25 queens go out to work and gather food. 45:29 So, the Quranic phrasing is very 45:33 precise; in the valley of the ants, 45:37 there was a queen and many male ants. 45:42 So, the queen—the leader—said ' 45:45 qalat namlatun,' a queen spoke to the 45:48 male ants. "Enter your dwellings so you 45:53 are not crushed by Prophet Solomon and 45:56 his soldiers." Yeah, like that. Just 45:59 that. So it is incredibly accurate. How 46:03 could this be made by a human, by 46:05 Prophet Muhammad, right? If it were 46:09 from Prophet Muhammad, it would be 46:11 impossible for him to create it; it’s 46:14 impossible for him to have conducted 46:16 research all the way into an ant colony 46:19 . So, it is precisely accurate to 46:21 mention that the ant was female. While 46:24 those being spoken to were all males. 46:25 For him to mention that is impossible. 46:27 This shows that this verse of the 46:31 Qur'an is not man-made. It is the work 46:35 of the Lord of humans, the Lord of the 46:37 ants as well. So He knows exactly that 46:41 the ant leading them was a female, a 46:44 queen, an ant queen. There you go, 46:48 ladies and gentlemen. It is 46:51 extraordinary, showing that it is not 46:53 man-made. Number two, I’ll move to 46:56 number three. I’ll skip to number 46:59 three. Well, wait, let me...excuse me, 47:05 this is number three, let me adjust it 47:10 first so it’s not confusing. Number 47:15 three. Now, number three, brothers and 47:22 sisters, may Allah have mercy on you, 47:24 is in Surah Al-Isra, the 17th surah. 47:31 Verse 50. It starts from verse 49, but 47:35 the main point is in verse 50. The 47:37 sentence goes like this. "Waqolu," the 47:42 Quraysh, the disbelievers, said, "Ana," 47:49 "Will we be brought back after we 47:53 become bones or crumble?""A inna 47:57 lamabun kholqon jadidan." They say, " 48:00 Can we be resurrected again as a new 48:03 creation?" That’s what they said, the 48:05 disbelievers. Then Allah answered in 48:09 verse 50. And here is the miracle, 48:13 Allah's answer is this. "Qul kunu 48:17 hijaratan aw hadidan." Allah says, " 48:23 Even if you become stone or iron, or 48:27 anything else,""Aw kholqon mimma 48:32 yakburu fi sudurikum." Whatever you 48:35 think of. "I can still resurrect you." 48:39 What’s interesting is the mention of 48:43 stone or iron. Stone is mentioned first 48:47 , then iron. If we don't know, if we 48:51 don't look into the meaning, we might 48:54 think it just passes by. Meaning, "Oh, 48:58 stone is hard, iron is hard." But that 49:01 is not the case. It turns out, by the 49:04 grace of Allah, To become stone, well, 49:11 like this: human bones, if buried in a 49:16 very deep layer of soil where no oxygen 49:21 can enter and there are no decomposing 49:26 microorganisms, perhaps in a stone-like 49:31 layer, a process called mineral 49:36 replacement occurs, where the mineral 49:41 structure changes from within. Because 49:48 there is no oxygen, meaning it is 49:51 buried very deep in the ground and 49:53 takes a very long time. Only then, if 49:59 buried deep and for a very long time, 50:03 will the minerals in the bones be 50:07 replaced by rock minerals like silica 50:12 and calcite. They seep into the pores 50:17 and the microscopic structure of the 50:20 bone. These minerals slowly replace the 50:23 organic material of the bone. And that 50:27 is when the human bones buried deep and 50:30 for a long time will turn into stone. 50:36 Like a hard, solid rock, as the 50:39 sentence says. Hard and solid like 50:42 stone. Now, what does that mean? It 50:46 must be buried deep and for a long time 50:50 —thousands of years—before it can 50:53 become stone. The amazing thing is, 50:58 once it becomes stone, the microscopic 51:02 mineral structure inside the bone 51:06 changes to calcite and silica. Then, a 51:12 very long time passes, up to millions 51:16 of years, for iron and manganese 51:18 structures to attach to that calcite 51:22 and silica. Fe and Mn, iron and 51:26 manganese. So, as even more time passes 51:32 , in terms of millions of years, ladies 51:35 and gentlemen, the fossil will become 51:37 iron. The inside will become iron. So 51:44 it must be buried deep for thousands of 51:48 years to become bone, and then millions 51:51 of years to become iron. And it truly 51:55 has to become stone first. The pores of 51:58 the bone become stone, and only after 52:00 that can it become iron. So the mention 52:04 by Allah in Surah Al-Isra verse 50 is 52:08 truly accurate and precisely describes 52:12 human bone fossilization. "Qul kunu 52:17 hijaratan hadidan." The sentence says, 52:21 "Be you stones or iron." Meaning, no 52:26 matter how deep you are buried to 52:28 become stone or iron, I can still 52:30 resurrect you. So what kind of science 52:36 is needed? Geology. Mineralogy is 52:40 needed. Mineralogy. What other science 52:45 is needed? Uh. What? Earth science to 52:52 research this, and it takes millions of 52:54 years to research it. Now, this could 52:57 not have been done by humans. Meaning 53:00 it could not have been done by humans 53:02 in the year 600. Prophet Muhammad, as a 53:04 human, could not have done it. So, this 53:08 is what...makes us realize that this 53:14 was not man-made, not made by Prophet 53:15 Muhammad, not made by Prophet Muhammad. 53:19 But created by the Lord of the worlds, 53:21 created by Allah. It belongs to Allah. 53:26 These verses are from Allah. That is 53:30 where the miracle lies, the miracle. 53:34 Furthermore, if we reflect on it, 53:36 brothers and sisters, may Allah have 53:38 mercy on you. If we reflect that back 53:42 then, the Quran was not written down 53:45 but delivered verbally. From Prophet 53:49 Muhammad to his companions in verbal 53:51 form. Likewise, from the angel Gabriel 53:53 to Prophet Muhammad, it was also verbal 53:54 . It was not written. Some companions 53:57 wrote down parts of it, but it was not 53:59 written by Prophet Muhammad himself. It 54:01 was delivered in verbal form. So, it 54:04 was impossible to edit. It could not be 54:08 edited because it was delivered only in 54:10 a verbal form. It truly shows that this 54:14 was definitely not made by humans. This 54:19 is the creation of the Lord of all 54:20 worlds. Uh, this is the creation of 54:24 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, who knows, 54:28 uh, the structure of human bones, how 54:31 the structure, uh, of the earth works. 54:36 He knows how it will be preserved, 54:37 becoming stone first, then becoming 54:39 iron. Yes, so Allah says, "Qul kunu 54:43 hijaratan au hadidan." So, ladies and 54:47 gentlemen, brothers and sisters, may 54:49 Allah bless you, how extraordinary. 54:52 This is only three points we have 54:54 revealed, yes. If we were to reveal it 54:58 all, we would be endlessly amazed. The 55:02 Qur'an is truly extraordinary. Well, 55:05 that is a miracle. Now, the sorcerers 55:08 of Musa, eh, the sorcerers in the time 55:11 of Pharaoh, I mean in the time of Musa, 55:13 teach us a lesson that when we can see 55:18 a miracle, the impact is different. The 55:25 miracle itself, not the event. The 55:29 miracle, the miracle. Uh, I repeat, in 55:33 this age, the miracle is the Qur'an. 55:36 The Qur'an has its reading, its writing 55:39 . It is in our homes, in what? Our 55:44 bookshelves. But the problem is how we 55:48 can see the miracle within the Qur'an. 55:52 Now, at least for tonight, I have 55:54 presented three examples. God willing, 55:57 perhaps if there is another meeting, we 55:59 can continue. We can present more 56:02 miracles from those we have gathered. 56:05 That is more or less what I can convey. 56:08 Uh, please, uh, return it to the studio 56:11 at Rasil to Brother Fauzi. Billahi 56:15 taufiq wal hidayah. Assalamu'alaikum 56:17 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Alright, 56:29 Ikhwan. We have already been taught and 56:34 given examples by Ustaz Doni regarding 56:37 the miracles of the Qur'an; there are 56:39 three examples given, but it turns out 56:42 there are still many more. The third 56:46 one was about human bone fossils. Then 56:50 there was, uh, the story of the ants 56:55 and also what? Zulumatin thalath. 56:59 Yes. Eight. Alright, God willing, we 57:02 will continue in the second session, 57:04 staying here on Radio Silaturahim. We 57:06 will return shortly. Thank you. 57:10 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 1:00:47 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 1:01:00 Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin. Thank you 1:01:02 brothers and sisters for staying with 1:01:04 Radio Silaturahim. You are currently 1:01:07 watching the live broadcast of the 1:01:09 Tadabur Al-Qur'an program with Ustaz 1:01:12 Doni Amir Sagaf. Alright, alhamdulillah 1:01:16 , we have entered the second session 1:01:18 for a Q&A discussion with our brothers 1:01:20 and sisters. Previously, we will greet 1:01:26 the listeners who have joined us. First 1:01:30 , we have Mrs. Sundari. Alhamdulillah, 1:01:34 Ustaz, I am tuning in to the Tadabur 1:01:36 Al-Qur'an tonight, Ustaz. Thank you for 1:01:38 the knowledge, Ustaz. 1:01:40 Yes. Then there is Mr. Budi Hartono, 1:01:45 alhamdulillah, listening in. Then there 1:01:48 is Mr. Ruskandar also listening. Then 1:01:54 we will uh, read a question from Mr. 1:02:02 Abdullah. First, Ustaz. 1:02:06 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 1:02:07 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. Wa'alaikumsalam 1:02:09 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Mr. 1:02:10 Abdullah. Yes, 1:02:11 yes, Ustaz. Masyaallah, Ustaz, the 1:02:14 theme, Ustaz. Thank you very much for 1:02:16 the knowledge. Uh, regarding the 1:02:20 earlier mention of "fi butuni 1:02:25 umahatikum." Then the end of the verse 1:02:29 is "faanna tusrafun." Ustaz, 1:02:32 Are we considered people who have been 1:02:35 turned away if we don't see the 1:02:37 miraculous side of the Quran, Ustaz? 1:02:40 Jazakullah khairan katsiran. That is a 1:02:43 very interesting question, Pak Abdullah 1:02:44 . It is important for us to pose this 1:02:47 question to ourselves, Pak Abdullah and 1:02:49 my brothers and sisters, the listeners. 1:02:54 So, the question in Surah Az-Zumar 1:02:56 verse 6 earlier is truly a wake-up call 1:02:59 for us. Why are you turned away? Being 1:03:04 turned away means we have forgotten 1:03:06 ourselves, right? Even though we were 1:03:09 created in those three layers of 1:03:11 darkness, it truly shows what? Our 1:03:14 weakness. Those three layers. We knew 1:03:20 nothing; our bodies were initially in 1:03:23 darkness. Darkness means having no 1:03:26 knowledge. It would become bones, it 1:03:30 would decide which becomes bones, which 1:03:32 becomes organs in our body, which 1:03:34 becomes cells in our brain, which 1:03:37 becomes cells in our skin pigment, 1:03:39 which becomes glands in our body. None 1:03:42 of that existed before. Then Allah 1:03:45 created it from darkness. Then Allah 1:03:49 gave the command of knowledge to all of 1:03:52 them, to the zygote, and it split into 1:03:54 three. And that is what is still 1:03:57 happening to this day. We used to be 1:04:01 small, our bodies were about the size 1:04:04 of a bottle when we were born. How come 1:04:08 we can be this big and this tall now? 1:04:13 It's because the ectoderm, mesoderm, 1:04:15 and endoderm are still working, using 1:04:17 the intelligence Allah granted from 1:04:19 those three layers of darkness. In 1:04:22 those three layers of darkness, three 1:04:24 of them. Since being given knowledge by 1:04:28 Allah, those three layers have been 1:04:31 working ever since. Inside our bodies, 1:04:35 there is a heart that beats constantly. 1:04:38 That is also an extraordinary feat. We 1:04:42 never even think about how to make it 1:04:45 beat, do we? We just sleep, yet even 1:04:48 while we sleep, it keeps working. There 1:04:53 are endothelial cells that also work 1:04:56 there to pump and move things. There is 1:05:00 electricity involved, and so on. So, 1:05:04 everything started from darkness, with 1:05:06 no knowledge and nothing else. Then 1:05:10 Allah gave knowledge and commands, and 1:05:12 they have obeyed ever since, until the 1:05:15 time Allah says stop. Yes, everything 1:05:18 stops. That is death, when this body 1:05:21 passes away. That is when it all stops. 1:05:25 So, how can we be turned away, how can 1:05:30 we be diverted? This is truly a wake-up 1:05:36 call for us, and we should take it as a 1:05:42 stern lesson. That is why it is very 1:05:46 important to see the miracle of the 1:05:49 Quran. Not just reading it as a text, 1:05:53 memorizing it, or beautifying its 1:05:56 recitation. That is all good, all good. 1:06:00 But add the essence, which is seeing 1:06:03 the miracle. Yes, that is more or less 1:06:06 it, Mr. Abdullah and my brothers and 1:06:07 sisters. 1:06:08 Yes, that is it, Mr. Abdullah. I hope 1:06:10 that answers your question, Ustaz. 1:06:13 Adding a little bit, Ustaz, perhaps the 1:06:16 word "zulumat" implies that initially, 1:06:19 we were in darkness, knowing nothing. 1:06:23 We were ignorant, and since we have 1:06:26 grown, it means we possess knowledge 1:06:30 now. 1:06:30 So, we just need to add how we can see 1:06:34 the miracle of the Quran, Ustaz. 1:06:37 Yes, that's right. 1:06:38 Yes, exactly. Then the second question 1:06:43 is from a servant of Allah, Ustaz, who 1:06:45 did not mention their name. 1:06:48 Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:06:49 and blessings. 1:06:50 And peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:06:51 mercy and blessings. 1:06:52 Ustaz, you mentioned earlier that the 1:06:54 Quran is a miracle for us in this 1:06:57 modern age, Ustaz. 1:06:58 Yes. 1:06:59 How was the Quran a miracle during the 1:07:04 time of Prophet Muhammad and his 1:07:08 companions? It became a miracle because 1:07:14 , during the Prophet's time, the 1:07:16 companions were experts in knowledge. 1:07:22 For example, there is a verse in Surah 1:07:25 Al-Hijr, "qul kunu hijaratan au hadida, 1:07:28 " what was it? Surah Al-Isra. Yes. 1:07:31 Yes. In Surah Al-Isra, the Prophet and 1:07:34 his companions did not yet understand 1:07:37 why it was written "hijaratan" first or 1:07:40 "hadidan" after that, Ustaz? Yes. 1:07:43 Back then, where exactly did the 1:07:45 Prophet and his companions see the 1:07:47 miraculous side of the Quran, Ustaz? 1:07:49 May Allah reward you with goodness. 1:07:51 Yes. So, there is a "mahfuzat." A 1:07:54 mahfuzat is a proverb in Arabic. The 1:07:58 sentence goes like this. Likulli 1:07:59 maqomin maqol. Likulli zamanin maqol. 1:08:05 Every human position has its own 1:08:09 discourse. What is a discourse? A style 1:08:13 of speech. For instance, the way we 1:08:16 speak to elementary students is 1:08:18 different from how we speak to a 1:08:20 professor. The way we speak to a 1:08:23 teenager is different from how we speak 1:08:25 to an adult. Likewise, for every era. 1:08:29 Every era has its own style of speech. 1:08:33 The current style of speech proves that 1:08:39 the Quran transcends time. In the 1:08:45 future, there may be styles we don't 1:08:47 even know now, yet the Quran remains 1:08:49 current. That is precisely how we 1:08:53 should view it. Now, how did the 1:08:55 companions back then view the Quran's 1:08:58 miracle? There were many other ways 1:09:00 appropriate for that era. For example, 1:09:03 the presence of Prophet Muhammad. For 1:09:07 instance, during the Hudaibiyah treaty, 1:09:11 what did Prophet Muhammad do? One of 1:09:17 the events involved the well water at 1:09:22 Hudaibiyah in the 6th year of Hijrah 1:09:26 when he and 1,400 companions stopped 1:09:31 there to perform Hajj; the well water 1:09:35 never ran out. That was one of the 1:09:41 things that strengthened the companions 1:09:44 who witnessed it. The existence of the 1:09:47 Prophet is a proof. "Burhan," oh 1:09:48 mankind, a proof has come to you from 1:09:51 your Lord, and We have sent down to you 1:09:53 a clear light. In the chapter An-Nisa, 1:09:56 at the end of the chapter An-Nisa, it 1:09:58 has come to you, a burhan, a proof from 1:10:00 your Lord. What does that mean? Prophet 1:10:02 Muhammad. Burhana birabbikum wa anzalna 1:10:06 ilaikum nuron mubina. Likewise, I have 1:10:10 sent down to you a clear, shining light 1:10:13 . Meaning the Quran. So there are two, 1:10:15 there is a light, and there is a proof. 1:10:18 Uh, that proof is something we do not 1:10:21 have right now. What does that mean? 1:10:22 The physical existence of Prophet 1:10:24 Muhammad. Well, he has already passed 1:10:26 away, right? He is no longer here, so 1:10:29 we don't get that, we don't get that 1:10:31 privilege, An-Nisa verse 170, right? 1:10:34 Could Brother Fauzi please read the 1:10:37 translation so we can listen, 170 from 1:10:40 the chapter An-Nisa? 1:10:44 170. Ali Imran. 1:10:49 Yes. 1:10:53 170, right? 1:10:55 Yes. One moment. 100. Oh. 1:11:03 Oh, sorry. Uh, don't do 170 yet, do 174 1:11:06 first. 1:11:07 174. 1:11:09 Yes. 1:11:09 The translation, Ustaz. 1:11:10 Yes, just the translation. 174. 1:11:13 Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim. O 1:11:15 mankind, indeed, a proof of truth has 1:11:17 come to you from your Lord, Prophet 1:11:20 Muhammad with his miracles. And We have 1:11:23 sent down to you a clear, shining light 1:11:26 , which is the Al-Quran. 1:11:28 Well, there it is. So, the proof there 1:11:30 is the existence of Prophet Muhammad. 1:11:32 At that time. The existence of Prophet 1:11:34 Muhammad is the proof, yes, burhana 1:11:36 birabbikum wa anzalna ilaikum nuron 1:11:38 mubina. Yes, and only then, uh, what 1:11:41 about the Quranic verses or Allah's 1:11:43 miracle in the form of the Quran, it is 1:11:46 timeless. Prophet Muhammad has passed 1:11:48 away, he is gone, but his miracle still 1:11:50 remains. So, the proof that existed 1:11:53 back then, we don't get the privilege 1:11:56 of witnessing that proof now. Meaning 1:11:59 the physical presence of Prophet 1:12:01 Muhammad. Well, that's it. Well, it's 1:12:04 the same when he, for example, 1:12:06 regarding the Isra and Mi'raj. Well, he 1:12:09 explained his journey, knowing this and 1:12:12 that, and so on, that is burhana 1:12:14 birabbikum. Uh, likewise when he split 1:12:18 the moon, the moon was indeed seen to 1:12:21 be split, it was witnessed. Well, 1:12:24 likewise and so on. So burhana 1:12:26 birabbikum. Well, that makes it so it 1:12:29 doesn't mean people now are smarter 1:12:32 than people in the past. No, not like 1:12:34 that. But indeed, both lead to faith, 1:12:37 right? It's just that for every era, 1:12:39 there is a way. It is possible, once 1:12:42 again, as I said earlier, it is 1:12:44 possible that in the future there will 1:12:46 be a style of language that we don't 1:12:48 know yet. Uh, don't know it now, but 1:12:51 later it will arrive there. Well, what 1:12:54 is certain is that the Quran stays 1:12:56 updated. That is extraordinary, right? 1:12:59 A miracle that is timeless is truly 1:13:01 extraordinary. More or less like that. 1:13:03 Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. 1:13:04 Wallahu a'lam bish-shawab. Jazakumullah 1:13:06 khairan katsiran. Ustaz, that's it, 1:13:08 Father, Servant of Allah, hopefully 1:13:09 that answers it. So one of the miracles 1:13:12 of the Quran is that it is timeless, 1:13:14 right, Ustaz? 1:13:15 One of them is that it is timeless. 1:13:17 Yes, that's right. Masyaallah. 1:13:18 It stays updated in every era. 1:13:20 Yes. In different human conditions, in 1:13:24 every era, the Qur'an remains existent. 1:13:27 It remains. 1:13:28 Yes. Uh, then we will read the next one 1:13:33 . Uh. From Mr. Barondi Betawi, there is 1:13:38 an acknowledgment from him saying 1:13:41 alhamdulillah Ustaz, listening, thank 1:13:43 you for the knowledge, ready to keep 1:13:45 monitoring until the end of the 1:13:47 broadcast, God willing, Ustaz. 1:13:50 Masyaallah. Then. Mrs. Ipung is also, 1:13:58 alhamdulillah, listening. 1:14:00 Yes. Then. Earlier Mr. Ruskandar was 1:14:09 listening, Mr. Rama also, alhamdulillah 1:14:12 , is listening, Mr. Yuman is also 1:14:14 listening. Mrs. Nurjana in Australia, 1:14:17 alhamdulillah, is listening. 1:14:20 Mrs. Fani is also listening and Mr. 1:14:22 Arwin is also listening. Alhamdulillah, 1:14:24 Ustaz. Alright, Ustaz. We still have 1:14:28 time in these final 3 minutes regarding 1:14:33 the wisdom of the Qur'an's miracles. 1:14:38 When, for example, as stated earlier, 1:14:41 when the magicians of Pharaoh saw the 1:14:44 miracle of the Qur'an. Uh, what is it, 1:14:47 Ustaz? Please, Ustaz. 1:14:49 Yes. Brothers and sisters who are 1:14:51 blessed by Allah. So in our life's 1:14:53 journey, indeed Allah provides means 1:14:57 for us to continue strengthening our 1:15:01 faith solely in Allah. And that is a 1:15:05 miracle. Now, the miracles in the time 1:15:08 of the prophets were different. Uh, but 1:15:13 in the Qur'an, we are taught how we 1:15:16 should also view those miracles, yes. 1:15:20 And that still exists today and will 1:15:22 continue to exist, namely the Qur'an. 1:15:25 Earlier, every era had its own distinct 1:15:27 style of language, they differed. And 1:15:30 that actually proves that the miracle 1:15:33 of the Qur'an is indeed the greatest. 1:15:36 So it transcends eras. While the 1:15:39 miracles of Prophet Musa, Prophet Isa, 1:15:41 Prophet Daud, and so on, the prophets 1:15:44 of the past could only be witnessed 1:15:46 during their own time. When they passed 1:15:49 away, the miracles disappeared too. But 1:15:51 the miracle of Prophet Muhammad, our 1:15:53 Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 1:15:56 wasallam, lasts until the end of time. 1:15:58 Now, so how extraordinary that is. So, 1:16:02 there are many things that we don't 1:16:05 understand today, but will be 1:16:07 understood in the future. In the future 1:16:12 , even our grandchildren and 1:16:13 great-grandchildren will feel that this 1:16:15 is not a human creation, but the 1:16:17 creation of the Lord of the worlds, 1:16:18 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Yes, 1:16:21 hopefully, we can continue to see this 1:16:24 miracle and it can keep increasing our 1:16:26 faith so that we are truly on the path 1:16:28 of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, God 1:16:30 willing, until we pass away. Wallahu 1:16:33 a'lam bis-shawab. Billahi taufiq 1:16:34 walhidayah. Assalamu'alaikum 1:16:35 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 1:16:37 Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 1:16:38 wabarakatuh. Jazakumullah khairan 1:16:39 katsiran. Ustaz, Ustaz. It turns out 1:16:41 there is still a question, Ustaz. 1:16:42 Oh yes, please go ahead. 1:16:44 Yes, from a servant of Allah, Ustaz. 1:16:47 Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi 1:16:48 wabarakatuh, Ustaz. 1:16:49 Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullah. A 1:16:51 little bit, Ustaz, earlier we saw that 1:16:55 the magicians saw the miracle of the 1:16:58 Qur'an, or saw the miracle of Prophet 1:17:01 Musa, because of the magic they 1:17:03 possessed. 1:17:06 Now, our task is that what is most 1:17:09 important for us is how the miracle of 1:17:13 the Qur'an can become a miracle for us. 1:17:17 Yes. Now, how can we view it like the 1:17:21 magicians of Pharaoh who saw the 1:17:23 miracle because of magic? If we cannot 1:17:28 see the miracle of the Quran from the 1:17:30 Quran itself, can we see that miracle 1:17:32 from another perspective? For example, 1:17:36 we as biologists see that miracle 1:17:39 through biology, or if not the Quran, 1:17:43 through other general books. Can we see 1:17:46 that miraculous aspect of the Quran, 1:17:48 Ustaz? 1:17:49 Ah, yes, that is absolutely true, 1:17:51 servant of Allah. Absolutely. So, just 1:17:52 like Pharaoh's magicians, because they 1:17:54 studied magic, they knew that what they 1:17:56 saw was not magic, right? 1:17:57 Yes, exactly. The same applies today 1:18:00 with physiological sciences, for 1:18:03 instance, biology—that ectoderm, 1:18:05 mesoderm, and endoderm mentioned in 1:18:07 Surah Az-Zumar, verse 6. Those who will 1:18:13 understand it are gynecologists, the 1:18:16 experts who have studied and proven 1:18:18 that there are indeed three layers in a 1:18:21 zygote. From there, they will 1:18:24 understand. Well, they just have to 1:18:27 know that the Quran mentions it, right? 1:18:29 That is the issue. The Quran mentions 1:18:32 it, and only then do they understand. 1:18:34 Oh, it turns out the Quran already 1:18:35 mentioned that. Likewise, for example, 1:18:39 dermatologists—the science of skin— 1:18:42 in Surah An-Nisa, verse 56, the 1:18:44 sentence says what? "Those who 1:18:49 disbelieve, We will cast them into the 1:18:51 Fire." The sentence goes like this. " 1:18:59 Every time their skins are roasted, We 1:19:00 replace them with fresh skins." There 1:19:02 is a*lam*for purpose there. "So that 1:19:04 they may taste the punishment." So, the 1:19:08 verse informs us that the one feeling 1:19:10 the pain is the skin. If it reaches the 1:19:14 layers beneath the skin, it no longer 1:19:16 feels pain. See? That is what 1:19:20 dermatologists will discover. There was 1:19:24 a person named Professor Tagatat 1:19:26 Tejasen. In '86, he converted to Islam. 1:19:29 He was a dermatologist. He read that 1:19:31 verse and knew for a fact that the one 1:19:34 feeling the pain is only the skin, down 1:19:36 to its three layers. So, the Quran's 1:19:40 miracle lies in the fact that people 1:19:43 who study science in detail are called* 1:19:46 ulul albab*. That is in Surah Sad, 1:19:51 chapter 38, verse 29. "A Book We have 1:19:56 sent down to you, blessed, so that they 1:19:58 may ponder its verses and that those of 1:20:00 understanding may take heed." The 1:20:02 sentence means it is a Book we revealed 1:20:05 to you, full of blessings. So that you 1:20:08 ponder its verses and so that those 1:20:10 with understanding, the*ulul albab*, 1:20:12 can take lessons. So, it is true, we 1:20:15 see it through science—actually, 1:20:18 knowledge should not be separated; 1:20:21 science does not mean just worldly 1:20:23 knowledge, like studying medicine, no. 1:20:27 That comes from Allah, too. Even 1:20:29 accounting is from Allah as well. Surah 1:20:31 Al-Baqarah, verse 282. Financial 1:20:35 recording, what is it called? "And fear 1:20:37 Allah; and Allah teaches you." That is 1:20:39 the end of the sentence. Fear Allah. 1:20:41 Then Allah will teach you to become an 1:20:43 honest accountant. That is how it is. 1:20:47 So, any knowledge that is beneficial to 1:20:49 mankind on this earth must surely come 1:20:52 from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and we 1:20:54 will find it in the Qur'an. That is 1:20:57 another factor that makes the Qur'an a 1:21:01 miracle. Yes, more or less like that. 1:21:03 Wallahu a'lam. 1:21:04 Masha Allah. Ustaz, jazakumullah 1:21:05 khairan katsiran, Ustaz. Hopefully, 1:21:07 that answers your question. Masha Allah 1:21:09 , we have gained a lot of knowledge 1:21:11 from Ustaz Dani. Ustaz, masha Allah, 1:21:13 the Qur'an is extraordinary, Ustaz. 1:21:16 From this surah to that surah, An-Nisa, 1:21:19 etc. Masha Allah, Ustaz. Well, that is 1:21:24 all brothers and sisters, hopefully 1:21:26 what was conveyed by Ustaz Doni is 1:21:27 beneficial and we can take the wisdom 1:21:29 from it. The wisdom and the lesson, our 1:21:33 homework is how this Qur'an becomes a 1:21:36 miracle for us all. I am Fauzi Rinul 1:21:39 Haq, asking to take my leave. I 1:21:41 apologize for any mistakes. 1:21:43 Subhanakallahumma wabihamdika, ashadu 1:21:45 alla ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa 1:21:47 atubu ilaik. Assalamu'alaikum 1:21:49 warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 1:21:51 Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi 1:21:52 wabarakatuh.
