Or you can call 1:49 later or send a WhatsApp message. And 1:53 for that, we will begin the reading 1:55 with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah 1:57 , which will be led directly by our 1:59 Ustaz. Please, Ustaz. 2:03 I seek refuge in Allah from the 2:05 accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, 2:09 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 2:14 All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the 2:16 worlds. Amen, O Lord of the worlds. 2:57 Before we begin, we express our 2:59 gratitude, jazakallah khair, to the 3:01 listeners who, since yesterday, have 3:04 masyaallah shared their positive 3:06 messages and best prayers for Radio 3:09 Silaturahim on its 17th Anniversary. 3:12 Masyaallah, thank you. We couldn't read 3:15 them one by one during yesterday's 3:17 broadcast, the anniversary broadcast. 3:19 Masyaallah. But praise be to Allah, we 3:20 are reading them one by one, and we 3:22 apologize that perhaps we haven't had 3:23 the chance to answer them individually 3:25 yet. Brothers and sisters, perhaps 3:27 Ustaz Husein has a message for the 3:29 listeners, specifically in the context 3:31 of the 17 th-anniversary thanksgiving, 3:33 Ustaz. 3:34 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious 3:35 , the Most Merciful. All praise is due 3:36 to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, 3:39 send prayers, peace, and blessings upon 3:42 Your servant and messenger, our master 3:45 and prophet Muhammad, and upon his pure 3:48 family, his noble companions, his 3:50 brethren among the prophets and 3:53 messengers, and those who follow his 3:56 upright path until the Day of Judgment. 4:00 To proceed. Brothers and sisters, 4:02 listeners and viewers of Radio TV 4:04 Silaturahim who are blessed by Allah. 4:07 May the peace, mercy, and blessings of 4:09 Allah be upon you. Praise be to Allah, 4:14 we do not realize that we, together 4:20 with Rasil, have gone through a 17-year 4:23 journey. Time passes so quickly. We 4:30 express our gratitude that is infinite 4:35 to Allah Subhanahu wa Taala, who has 4:39 given His guidance to us, helping us to 4:43 build this da'wah media for the purpose 4:47 of truly building love among brothers 4:51 who believe in Allah Subhanahu wa Taala 4:55 , to truly realize that we are all a 5:01 large family originating from the same 5:04 father and mother, created from the 5:07 same entity, created by the same God. 5:12 We also believe in the same prophet who 5:14 was sent as a mercy to all the worlds. 5:18 Thus, the purpose of establishing Radio 5:21 Silaturahim, in accordance with its 5:23 name, is to build and foster ties of 5:26 friendship among us, both those who 5:28 share the same faith and those who do 5:31 not. Because they remain our brothers 5:33 and sisters who come from the same 5:35 father and mother. It is our obligation 5:38 to invite everyone to come together and 5:42 join in surrendering to Allah Subhanahu 5:45 wa ta'ala. We also express our infinite 5:52 gratitude for the brothers and sisters 5:57 who have joined us as companions on 6:01 this journey, striving to build harmony 6:06 , love, and cooperation among one 6:10 another. We also offer our infinite 6:15 thanks to the listeners who have 6:17 provided their support, whether 6:20 materially or through prayers; all this 6:23 support is invaluable in the sight of 6:26 Allah. And this is part of carrying out 6:30 Allah's command: "And cooperate in 6:32 righteousness and piety, but do not 6:34 cooperate in sin and aggression." We 6:38 hope, God willing, that just as we are 6:40 united with Radio Silaturahmi, with the 6:45 goal of reviving the guidance of the 6:48 Quran and the Sunnah of our Prophet 6:51 Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, we 6:53 can build and foster love among us and 6:56 spread mercy in our midst. May we be 7:00 gathered together one day at the side 7:02 of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi 7:04 wa alihi wasallam. We ask for prayers 7:07 from all the congregation that Allah 7:09 Subhanahu wa ta'ala always guards the 7:12 sincerity of our hearts. Likewise, may 7:15 we remain steadfast on the path and the 7:18 vision we have been fighting for, which 7:21 is to spread mercy, build and 7:23 strengthen ties of kinship, so that we 7:26 may walk together toward the path of 7:29 salvation, attain Allah's pleasure and 7:31 forgiveness, and be placed alongside 7:34 the beloved of Allah Subhanahu wa 7:37 ta'ala, our Prophet Muhammad sallallahu 7:40 alaihi wa alihi wasallam, who was sent 7:42 as a mercy to all of creation. May we 7:45 also be among those who spread mercy. 7:50 If we claim to be followers of our 7:52 Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa 7:54 alihi wasallam, we say jazakumullahu 7:56 khairan for all of your support. May 8:00 Allah make all of this an opening to 8:02 the doors of mercy and the widest 8:04 possible forgiveness for all brothers 8:06 and sisters. As well as for our 8:09 colleagues who struggle together with 8:11 us in the field of the Radio 8:13 Silaturahmi mission. Amin ya rabbal 8:16 alamin. 8:16 Amin. Amin. Amin ya rabbal alamin. 8:19 Thank you, Ustaz, for the prayers and 8:21 your kindness for 8:23 this dakwah struggle, Ustaz. Yes. 8:25 God willing, this dakwah will have a 8:27 long life. 8:28 Amin. And brothers, we will continue; 8:31 perhaps first, there are some topics 8:33 that are currently being quite widely 8:35 discussed. Ustaz, perhaps we could 8:38 respond to these on social media, Ustaz 8:40 . 8:42 One of them is from the account Iim 8:44 Fahima, responding to the disasters 8:46 that are occurring in our country, 8:48 Ustaz. Related to the policies of 8:51 government officials, Ustaz. Indonesia 8:53 is known as a "disaster supermarket" 8:56 country, Ustaz. Because there are so 8:58 many disasters due to the natural 9:00 conditions, Ustaz. 9:01 There are earthquakes, volcanic 9:03 eruptions, then floods, and so on. Now, 9:07 here is the note, Ustaz. From Iim 9:09 Fahima, there are officials who say 9:11 that these disasters are fate (takdir). 9:14 In the context of the state and 9:16 policy-makers, officials should not use 9:19 the word "fate" when addressing 9:21 disasters. What should be discussed 9:26 more is mitigation, spatial planning, 9:29 early warning systems, then evacuation 9:32 readiness, and the quality of 9:34 infrastructure. O our Lord, all praise 9:42 is Yours, as befits the majesty of Your 9:44 Face. Glory be to You, we cannot count 9:47 the praise due to You, as You have 9:49 praised Yourself, so all praise is 9:50 Yours until You are pleased, and all 9:52 praise is Yours when You are pleased, 9:54 and all praise is Yours after You are 9:55 pleased. O Allah, grant us mercy from 9:59 You and bestow upon us from Your 10:00 presence beneficial knowledge and make 10:02 us benefit from what You have taught us 10:04 . O Lord, increase us in knowledge and 10:06 join us with the righteous, and 10:07 thereafter. We often hear from some 10:14 people that when they face a disaster, 10:18 they attribute it to the decree of 10:21 Allah. But when they attain fortune or 10:25 success, it is attributed back to their 10:27 own efforts. They do not at all say and 10:31 express gratitude to Allah by saying 10:33 Alhamdulillahirabbil alamin. All of 10:37 this is by the grace of Allah. Without 10:39 His grace and help, it would be 10:40 impossible for us to achieve all of 10:42 this. We rarely hear this expression of 10:46 gratitude. But if a disaster happens, a 10:50 trial occurs, a loss is suffered, or 10:52 their children choose a wrong path in 10:55 life, they say this is Allah's decree. 10:59 What is this actually? It is an act of 11:04 running away from responsibility. 11:08 Because Allah says in the Qur'an, ma 11:11 asobaka min hasanatin faminallah. The 11:13 good that you receive comes from Allah. 11:17 Wa ma asobaka min sayyiatin famin 11:19 nafsik. The evil that befalls you. If 11:22 you examine it, it actually originates 11:26 from yourself. It means that what comes 11:30 from Allah is entirely good. But the 11:33 occurrence of bad things is a result of 11:36 human actions. For example, Allah 11:39 Subhanahu wa ta'ala provided a nature 11:41 that is truly in harmony. Forests, 11:47 highlands, lowlands, rivers. which flow 11:50 , all are a gift from Allah Subhanahu 11:53 wa ta'ala. But it turns out humans 11:58 cause damage to the environment. 12:01 Cutting down forests without replanting 12:04 them, filled with greed and avarice, 12:06 causing landslides and floods like what 12:09 happened in Aceh. Who is to be blamed 12:13 here? Allah or humans? Allah or humans? 12:19 Naturally, these are human hands that 12:22 destroy to satisfy their greed without 12:24 caring about their fellow beings. They 12:29 clear forests without replanting them. 12:32 In fact, the clearing is done illegally 12:34 when they should have cut down some, 12:37 left some, and replanted in the areas 12:39 that were cut down. So it is adjusted 12:42 to the needs and safety of the 12:44 environment. They also dump chemical 12:49 waste into rivers and even into the 12:51 oceans. They also dump trash into the 12:55 rivers. There is accumulation and 12:57 siltation. Then the rainy season comes 13:00 and finally the water overflows. 13:03 Because the channels that were 13:04 initially 10 to 20 meters deep are now 13:06 only a meter deep. When water comes 13:10 from upstream to downstream, it finally 13:13 causes catastrophe and disaster. 13:16 Especially those who also build on top 13:18 of rivers or along the riverbanks. We 13:20 encounter this along the Ciliwung River 13:25 to Jatinegara, we see how the river 13:27 gets narrower day by day. 13:30 If back in the 60s, say 69, 70s, or say 13:34 68, we would find the Ciliwung River 13:37 was wide. Yes. 13:39 Even filled with bamboo rafts coming 13:42 from the Bogor area. A procession of 13:46 bamboo rafts, yes. Then, to make the 13:49 rafts move quickly or, let's say, to 13:52 travel back and forth, 13:55 they used a bamboo pole that was quite 13:57 long 13:57 to reach the riverbed. 13:59 It was that deep, Ustaz. Yes, 14:00 the depth. A 12-meter bamboo pole would 14:02 only have the tip sticking out. 14:04 Right. 14:04 They used it to push the raft. They 14:07 would tie them up all the way to 14:09 Kampung Melayu. Kampung Melayu was the 14:11 gathering place for the rafts. So, if 14:14 people wanted to buy bamboo, they just 14:16 came to that place using carts. They 14:18 would transport the bamboo to distant 14:20 areas. 14:21 Yes. 14:21 At that time, transportation was still 14:23 simple, just carts. 14:23 Uh-huh. 14:25 But now, the Ciliwung River cannot be 14:28 traversed by rafts. It has become 14:31 silted and full of trash. It also 14:34 spreads disease. Now, who is to be 14:37 blamed in this matter? The same applies 14:42 to the damage occurring within people's 14:44 lives. Is this God's destiny? What are 14:49 the consequences of officials running 14:51 away from their responsibilities, 14:53 failing to perform their duties, 14:54 engaging in corruption, and making the 14:56 people miserable, ultimately leading to 14:58 social decay? There are robberies here, 15:02 robberies there. Moreover, what about 15:04 the law? It is not truly impartial; 15:08 when it meets those in power or those 15:12 with wealth, the law is twisted. 15:15 Yes. 15:16 It is sharp downwards but blunt upwards 15:19 , so the balance and harmony are lost. 15:22 Public trust in the law is also lost. 15:25 Public trust in law enforcement is also 15:27 lost. So, who is to be blamed? Is God 15:31 the one to be blamed? Likewise, 15:34 immorality and wickedness run rampant 15:37 in society, which eventually invites 15:39 the wrath of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 15:42 It also causes unrest and riots. Who is 15:45 to be blamed? Is this God's destiny? 15:48 Whereas God has forbidden us from 15:50 committing such acts. Naturally, this 15:53 involves officials who do not genuinely 15:56 guide their people, do not enforce the 15:58 law properly, and do not provide, yes, 16:03 education that can instill awareness in 16:05 the people from an early age. The same 16:07 goes for the mistakes of parents who 16:09 ignore their children's education and 16:11 do not supervise them. In the olden 16:14 days, in the '00s, school children were 16:16 extraordinarily respectful when they 16:18 met their elders. They would enter the 16:22 classroom, wait for the teacher, and 16:24 when the teacher arrived, everyone 16:25 would be silent. Neighbors cared for 16:28 one another. Even though at that time, 16:31 there were not many scholars, not many 16:34 professors or doctors. But the people 16:37 lived in a clean state. Their love for 16:40 their homeland and their nation was 16:42 extraordinary. The spirit of struggle 16:45 and patriotic soul existed within them. 16:47 Yet, it was replaced not long after by 16:49 a spirit of destroying the nation and 16:51 state, even prostituting the country 16:53 for personal gain if necessary. Should 16:59 we blame God's destiny, or blame their 17:01 deeds that are not in accordance with 17:03 truth and justice? If we speak about 17:07 God's destiny, this destiny is a rule 17:10 and law. Destiny is the rule and law 17:13 that governs the entire universe, 17:15 including all the organs of our bodies. 17:18 The system that regulates our entire 17:21 body is called destiny. Therefore, God 17:25 says, "Inna khalaqna kulla syaiin 17:28 biqadar." Indeed, We have created 17:32 everything with measure, with rules and 17:35 laws. The word measure is "qadar". It 17:38 means nothing is created by Allah 17:40 Subhanahu wa ta'ala randomly without 17:42 rules. Everything is created with qadar 17:44 . "Alladzi khalaqa kullaiin faqaddarahu 17:48 "–the One who created everything and 17:51 also established its rules and laws. 17:55 With these laws, humans learn and 17:57 various scientific disciplines are born 18:00 , like biology. Where does this science 18:03 of biology come from? It studies 18:06 Allah's laws that exist in the human 18:08 body, in animals. Likewise, concerning 18:11 plants. Geology studies the layers of 18:16 our earth. 18:18 Science is born, the conclusion from 18:20 the results of their research. 18:23 Astronomy is a science produced from 18:26 research on what occurs in this 18:30 universe. It used to be known as the 18:32 science of falak. 18:33 Hmm. They study how our sun works. 18:40 Likewise, they study the satellites and 18:44 also the planets that orbit our sun. 18:48 Then also the satellites that orbit our 18:51 earth. Also studying the clusters of 18:54 stars called galaxies. They find 18:57 extraordinary miracles in the midst of 19:00 this universe. They study how the earth 19:04 rotates on its axis before the sun and 19:07 then orbits the sun for 360-something 19:09 days. Then after that, the sun with all 19:13 its planets, along with the satellites 19:15 orbiting its planets, orbit the center 19:17 of its galaxy. Where are all these 19:20 sciences discovered from? From the 19:22 results of research on the laws and 19:25 decree of Allah that govern nature. 19:28 Likewise, they study the function of 19:29 the human heart. When the heart is in a 19:34 normal state, and when it goes beyond 19:36 normal limits. All this knowledge is 19:39 born from the laws and decree of Allah 19:42 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allah says in 19:45 Surah Al-A'la. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim 19:47 . "Sabbihisma rabbikal..." Exalt the 19:51 name of the greatness of your Lord, " 19:54 alladzi khalaqo fasawa," who created 19:56 with full balance. "Sawa" describes 20:00 balance, perfection. Then "walladzi 20:02 qaddar fahada." Then Allah established 20:05 the decree, the rules and laws for all 20:08 created beings. Then Allah guides us to 20:11 study that decree. People who farm. 20:16 Without following Allah's decree, it 20:18 will not grow. Hm. 20:21 So the laws, the ways of farming rice, 20:24 wheat, as well as hardwood trees, all 20:26 of this is Allah's decree. If we follow 20:30 it, we will succeed. If we refuse to 20:32 follow Allah's decree, we will fail. 20:34 Likewise, Allah explains. "Wasyamsu 20:38 tajri limustaqarril laha, dhalika 20:40 taqdirul' azizil 'alim." And the sun, 20:44 what is it? "Tajri limustaqarril laha." 20:47 It also orbits. It is not only our 20:49 earth that orbits the sun. The sun, 20:52 along with all its planets, orbits the 20:54 center of its galaxy as ordained by 20:56 Allah. "Wasyamsu tajri limustaqarril 21:00 laha." Then Allah explains, "Dhalika 21:02 taqdirul' azizil 'alim." That is the 21:05 decree, the rule of calculation and law 21:08 established by Allah. Has the earth 21:10 ever been late in its rotation, or late 21:14 in orbiting its sun? Or let's say the 21:16 sun and its planets late in orbiting 21:18 the center of their galaxy. 21:20 All speeds are calculated, their masses 21:23 are calculated with full balance. 21:25 Without balance, the universe would 21:27 experience destruction. So, the laws 21:31 that govern the realm of astronomy and 21:32 the celestial bodies within it are the 21:34 decree of Allah. Likewise, "walqamar 21:38 qaddarnahu manazila hatta urjunil qadim 21:41 ." And the moon, We have decreed its 21:45 stations, shifting from day to day, 21:47 from night to night, until it arrives 21:50 at the moment of what? It will vanish 21:53 before turning into something 21:54 resembling a dried date palm stalk. H 21:58 It vanishes and then is replaced by a 22:00 new day with the birth of the moon upon 22:02 what? That night marks the birth of the 22:06 new moon. Everything is calculated. 22:10 Therefore, humans are able to calculate 22:12 all of this. Because of what? Based on 22:14 the decree that comes from 22:16 Allah. 22:17 Humans also study the function of the 22:19 liver. Knowing when someone's liver is 22:22 in a certain state, and how we can 22:23 restore our liver health. They begin to 22:26 discover various kinds of herbal 22:28 remedies. The same applies to our 22:31 digestive system. How it works, and 22:33 what causes disturbances. If a 22:36 disturbance occurs, what must be done? 22:38 Everything illustrates the decree of 22:40 Allah. Now, to succeed, one must follow 22:42 the decree of Allah. H 22:46 If we oppose His laws and follow our 22:48 own desires and our own ways, we will 22:51 never achieve what we hope for. Because 22:54 Allah has provided guidance so that we 22:56 may understand the decree of Allah. 22:58 Then, regarding natural disasters such 23:01 as a volcanic eruption, it is 23:03 inseparable from the decree of Allah, 23:06 the All-Wise. An erupting volcano 23:11 releases hot flows. 23:13 What if it didn't come out? What would 23:15 happen? A greater disaster would occur. 23:20 Material and rocks are spewed out from 23:23 the mountain. Do not assume this is a 23:28 punishment. The ejected rock material 23:32 also brings benefits to humanity. 23:35 Witness what happened when Mount 23:36 Galunggung erupted. The benefits they 23:38 received from the Galunggung sand 23:40 yes, the minerals, yes. 23:41 Correct. Minerals. Then it 23:43 re-fertilizes the soil. 23:45 Soil that has been damaged by human 23:47 hands. Especially with chemical 23:49 fertilizers and pesticides. Subhanallah 23:52 . With the ejection of the mountain's 23:55 contents, it creates soil that is 23:57 fertile once again. This means it is an 24:01 effort to perform a recovery. And there 24:06 are many benefits that humans receive 24:08 without realizing it; they only 24:11 consider it a disaster. Whereas behind 24:13 all this, there is mercy and grace from 24:16 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Then we ask, 24:21 "What about those who become victims?" 24:24 Those who become victims are divided 24:26 into two. One, it is a test for them. 24:31 It is a test for them, and also a 24:35 reminder for them to return to Allah. 24:38 Because without being given a warning, 24:40 we often forget Allah. Another is a 24:43 punishment for those who are defiant 24:45 and cause corruption on the earth. So, 24:49 if some become victims, we must know 24:50 the characteristic of worldly life is a 24:53 test that examines us. Whether we are 24:55 grateful or whether we are patient. 24:57 Yes. 24:59 Those who believe and are pious to 25:01 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, Allah 25:02 protects them. Those who commit sins, 25:06 Allah reminds them. Those who commit 25:08 corruption on the earth, Allah punishes 25:11 and judges them. So, disasters have 25:15 various purposes. And Allah Subhanahu 25:18 wa ta'ala is the Most Compassionate and 25:20 the Most Wise. But if officials witness 25:23 disasters striking the lives of the 25:25 people and say that this is Allah’s 25:27 destiny, as if Allah’s destiny is 25:29 unjust or oppressive. Because we know 25:32 the government is responsible for the 25:34 health of its people, 25:36 for the morality of its people, and for 25:38 their education. When the government 25:41 oversees the education of its people so 25:42 that they have noble character, they 25:44 will be far from the punishment and 25:45 wrath of Allah. But when they allow 25:49 corruption to run rampant, then the 25:50 government and all those in authority, 25:52 including the scholars, are responsible 25:55 for the disasters that befall their 25:57 people and the community. Because Allah 25:59 mentions in the Quran, "wa law anna 26:01 ahlal qura...""...amana wat-taqau..." 26:06 If the people of the land believe and 26:07 are pious, We will open for them the 26:09 doors of blessing from the heavens and 26:11 the earth. They denied, so " 26:15 fa-akhadznahum bima kanu yaksibun." We 26:17 punished them for the deeds that they 26:19 committed. The Quran also says, " 26:22 Fasadul barru wal bahru bima kasabat 26:24 aidinnas." Corruption appears on land 26:27 and at sea because of what the hands of 26:28 men have earned. So, the government 26:32 must repent, the officials must realize 26:35 that they hold a great mandate to truly 26:38 provide protection for their people. 26:42 What they must do is mitigation. How, 26:45 when the signs of a disaster begin to 26:48 appear, they evacuate those people from 26:51 dangerous and vulnerable areas. 26:55 Providing safe places for them. Because 26:58 their people are the same as their own 27:00 children. They are given the trust by 27:02 the people to take care of them, not to 27:05 exploit them. 27:08 For example, if their houses are 27:11 destroyed, then naturally the 27:13 government must rebuild what was lost 27:15 from them. Because this country belongs 27:18 to the people. 27:18 Hm. 27:19 Or let’s say it belongs to Allah, yes 27:21 . Yes, which Allah has bestowed upon 27:23 our nation, Indonesia. Then the people 27:26 give the mandate to the officials. This 27:28 does not belong to the officials, it 27:29 does not belong to the government to do 27:30 as they please. How do they carry out 27:34 mitigation, reduce the impact of 27:36 disasters that will happen, and keep 27:38 the weak and innocent people away from 27:40 what? From the sources of the disaster. 27:44 Krakatoa did not immediately explode, 27:47 it did not immediately erupt. Is that 27:49 right? Likewise, a tsunami does not 27:51 just arrive instantly. If the 27:54 government had truly prepared the means 27:55 of protection and safety, as soon as 27:57 they heard news of a tsunami, it would 27:58 be announced immediately like what 28:00 happens in Japan, where there are 28:01 places everywhere for people to save 28:02 themselves. We witness the disasters 28:05 that often happen in Japan, 28:07 the tsunami disasters, including the 28:10 radiation leak in their nuclear power 28:12 plants. How the people of Japan are 28:16 truly guarded, protected, and saved by 28:18 their government, effectively reducing 28:20 the impact of the disasters. What 28:23 happened in Aceh? Yes, what happened in 28:27 Aceh compared to the earthquakes that 28:29 often happen in Japan, we see the 28:31 casualties in Aceh were far greater. 28:34 Yes. 28:35 Even though the population is smaller 28:37 compared to the densely populated 28:39 cities in Japan. 28:41 H. And how the government facilitates 28:45 so that the people have homes to live 28:47 in and have decent places to work. If 28:51 the government or a prime minister in 28:52 Japan fails to perform their duties and 28:55 faces criticism, they immediately 28:56 resign because they have a sense of 28:58 shame. But our officials, even when 29:01 they are abused, teased, ridiculed, and 29:02 mocked, have no shame. Why? Because 29:07 they do not carry out their mandates 29:09 properly. Then disasters happen, riots 29:11 occur, and damage is done. What do they 29:13 say? This is Allah's destiny. This is 29:16 slandering Allah with a very heinous 29:18 slander. Where is the intellect that 29:20 Allah gave you? Where is the knowledge 29:21 that Allah taught you? Our mistake is 29:24 that we sometimes put people in the 29:26 wrong places. 29:27 Yeah. 29:28 People who are not experts in maritime 29:29 affairs are placed in maritime 29:30 positions. Those who are not experts in 29:32 the health sector are placed in the 29:33 health sector. 29:34 Same with forestry. 29:35 Forestry is the same. So, how will a 29:37 country progress if a matter is not 29:39 placed in the hands of its experts? So, 29:42 regarding Allah's destiny. Allah's 29:45 destiny is a law and a rule. Allah 29:47 commands us to respect it. There is the 29:49 legislative destiny, which is the 29:51 Sharia that comes from Allah, guiding 29:53 us toward a noble life. There is the 29:57 cosmic destiny, namely natural laws and 29:59 norms that Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 30:02 established for the creatures He 30:04 created, for us to study. 30:07 Hmm. 30:08 We remember, Kang Rizal, before there 30:11 was the smallpox vaccine or 30:13 immunization for the pock disease, 30:16 right? The smallpox spread. Yeah. 30:19 Also known as monkeypox, it spread in 30:21 Indonesia and even in various other 30:22 countries. Monkeypox. 30:25 Until simultaneous immunization was 30:28 carried out. Not only in Indonesia. Hmm 30:31 . 30:31 Subhanallah, simultaneously, Allah 30:34 granted that since then, smallpox 30:36 disappeared. Smallpox... 30:39 Disappeared. 30:41 This means these poxes actually 30:43 appeared as a result of people 30:45 violating by having sex with animals, 30:47 or with monkeys, right? Diseases like 30:51 smallpox were born. Likewise with HIV 30:53 and others, they are the result of 30:55 human actions, and these are epidemics, 30:56 right? Don't call it destiny. This is a 30:59 violation of destiny and divine norms. 31:02 So, destiny is those divine norms. And 31:05 when an epidemic occurs, humans are 31:06 given intellect and knowledge by Allah 31:08 Ta'ala on how to respond to and 31:10 overcome such disasters. The same goes 31:14 for polio, and various other diseases 31:16 that spread, including COVID recently. 31:20 Yes. That was the result of human 31:22 actions, not coming from Allah. Various 31:25 diseases are the result of genetic 31:27 engineering created for the interests 31:30 of corporations or oligarchs. Likewise 31:33 with certain officials. So they are all 31:35 responsible. Goodness comes from Allah, 31:37 while the harm that befalls humans is 31:40 the result of human actions. So if an 31:42 official says this is destiny, that is 31:44 destiny, what if they were beaten and 31:46 everyone said that it was Allah's 31:47 destiny? If someone steals, they say it 31:50 is Allah's destiny. If someone kills, 31:51 it is said that it is Allah's destiny. 31:53 Would you accept that? 31:54 Hmm. 31:57 Be aware and realize that we are made 31:59 as khalifahs who are given intellect, 32:01 given knowledge, and given guidance by 32:03 Allah, but we do not follow it. When a 32:06 disaster occurs, we say it is the 32:08 destiny of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 32:10 So he commits not just one sin; he has 32:13 disobeyed Allah, betrayed trust, and 32:16 also attributed lies to Allah. So 32:20 actually, the evil that befalls us 32:22 returns to us, fellow human beings. The 32:25 good that we receive is a gift from 32:26 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Wallahu 32:28 a'lam (Allah knows best). 32:29 Alright, thank you, Ustaz, for the 32:31 answer. Moving on, Ustaz, still related 32:33 to, well, Indonesia, actually, Ustaz. 32:37 There have also been discussions 32:40 regarding research results in recent 32:42 years, Ustaz, that Indonesia 32:44 consistently ranks at the top as one of 32:47 the most religious countries in the 32:50 world, Ustaz. 32:52 Based on various international survey 32:54 institutions. One of them is the PRC, 32:56 Pew Research Center, then CEO World 32:59 Magazine, and others, Ustaz. Now, this 33:03 goes up to 98%, there is also up to 98, 33:09 7%. Now, this high figure of belief in 33:12 God, obedience in carrying out daily 33:15 rituals, as well as the position of 33:17 religion as the main foundation, is 33:19 also enshrined in the first principle 33:21 of Pancasila, Ustaz. So religious 33:25 activities like daily worship and the 33:27 presence of houses of worship are very 33:29 high and easily found in public spaces 33:31 in Indonesia, yes. But the social 33:36 challenge that arises, Ustaz, is public 33:39 discussion regarding the paradox 33:41 between that high score of ritual 33:44 religiosity and the issue of social 33:46 integrity or the very high level of 33:49 corruption, Ustaz. Now, how does the 33:53 Ustaz view this? It is very ironic, 33:55 isn't it, Ustaz? 33:56 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (In the name 33:56 of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most 33:57 Merciful). Actually, those research 33:59 results need to be questioned again. If 34:04 one says Indonesia is a country whose 34:06 people are the most religious, we want 34:08 to know what is meant by that 34:10 religiosity. Is it only performing 34:12 rituals? 34:14 Is it the number of those places of 34:16 worship? 34:16 Yes. Is it because of the number of 34:19 places of worship, and also the largest 34:20 number of Umrah and Hajj departures in 34:22 the world? 34:23 Yes. 34:24 Is it because of this? If it is because 34:27 of this, this is a wrong assessment. If 34:31 someone is called religious just 34:33 because they pray, but still commits 34:35 evil deeds, 34:37 they lie, betray, commit corruption, 34:39 that is not a true Muslim. That is just 34:44 a disguise as a Muslim, but their soul 34:46 is not the soul of a Muslim. 34:49 Because a true Muslim is a person who 34:52 truly, besides what? Besides yearning 34:56 for salvation and peace, they also 34:58 safeguard the safety of others. 35:00 Yes. 35:01 And they live by truly surrendering to 35:03 Allah, following His rules and guidance 35:05 . But in Indonesia, Islam is only 35:07 practiced in fragments. Islam as a 35:10 religion has turned into a culture. 35:13 No longer as a guide for life, but 35:15 merely as a culture, 35:17 a tradition, Ustaz. 35:18 Even this culture and tradition can be 35:21 adjusted to what? To the tastes of the 35:24 environment and what? And social 35:28 inclinations. As an example, we 35:31 recently heard about "Islam Nusantara." 35:34 Islam Nusantara 35:35 means it is not the Islam that came 35:37 from Allah. Islam that is in accordance 35:39 with Nusantara culture. Is that right? 35:41 Yes. 35:42 If it is "Arab Islam," it means it is 35:44 in accordance with Arab culture, and 35:46 Islam is not Arab. Because before Islam 35:48 came, the Arab people lived in 35:49 ignorance (Jahiliyyah). And even until 35:50 now, too. 35:52 Even though they are in the holy cities 35:54 , say, close to the holy cities of 35:57 Makkah and Madinah, most of them cannot 35:59 be categorized as true Muslims. 36:01 There is another one, Ustaz. "Islam à 36:03 la Prabowo," Ustaz. Now, there is this 36:05 "Islam à la Prabowo." Meaning 36:06 Prabowo's interpretation with Prabowo's 36:08 lifestyle. Actually, it should be that 36:10 Prabowo is adjusted to Islam. Likewise, 36:14 let's say for those who trumpet " 36:16 Nusantara Islam." It is not Islam being 36:20 adjusted to Nusantara culture, but 36:22 Nusantara culture, including them, 36:23 being adjusted to the rules of Islam 36:25 that come from the Creator of the 36:27 universe. Islam is not a religion that 36:31 comes from the Arabs. I mean, it does 36:33 not originate from Arab society. Islam 36:37 comes from Allah, who sent His 36:39 messenger who was of Arab descent, 36:41 namely our Prophet Muhammad, peace be 36:43 upon him, the one with the best 36:44 character, to spread Allah's message. 36:48 Guiding mankind out of darkness into a 36:51 bright, shining life. But not all Arab 36:54 people welcomed it. Even not all of the 36:56 Prophet's family welcomed the Prophet, 36:58 for example, the Prophet's uncle, Abu 37:00 Lahab. H 37:01 He rejected and even fought the Prophet 37:03 until Allah revealed the surah "Tabbat 37:05 yada Abi Lahabi Watab." But people who 37:09 came from Abyssinia like Bilal, those 37:12 who came from Persia like Salman, as 37:14 well as Suhaib who came from Rome, and 37:17 others, all entered Islam. Because 37:21 Islam is not the monopoly of one nation 37:23 , nor is it a religion attributed to 37:26 one race, tribe, or language, but a 37:28 religion that comes from Allah. 37:31 Therefore, all the prophets surrendered 37:33 themselves to Allah. "Qala lahu rabbuhu 37:36 aslim qala aslamtu lirabbil alamin." 37:39 When His Lord said to Ibrahim, "Submit 37:41 your body and soul." He said, "I have 37:43 submitted myself to Allah, the Lord of 37:44 the worlds." Likewise, Balqis, when she 37:47 found the truth, she said, "Rabbi inni 37:49 zalamtu nafsi wa aslamtu ma'a Sulaimana 37:52 lillahi rabbil' alamin." Likewise, 37:54 Allah reminds us, "wa la tamutunna illa 37:56 wa antum...""... 37:58 muslimun." So Islam is a religion that 38:01 comes from the Creator of the universe, 38:03 the Creator of us all. It does not 38:05 originate from the earth, and does not 38:07 originate from human beings on earth. 38:10 Because even though the messengers came 38:12 from the earth, they only delivered the 38:14 message of Allah. Just as it is. Not 38:16 adjusting the message of Allah to the 38:18 culture of the Arab people. No. 38:21 What the Messenger conveyed was what 38:22 came from Allah. As for Arab culture, 38:24 if it is appropriate, we accept it; if 38:26 it is not appropriate, what? We discard 38:28 it just like that if it does not match 38:29 the rules of Islam. Likewise, Islam 38:31 came to the archipelago to Islamicize 38:33 the people of the archipelago, not to 38:35 adjust the religion to the culture of 38:36 the archipelago. Hm. 38:39 So if we observe together, when Islam 38:43 reached Indonesia, some welcomed it by 38:47 sincerely surrendering themselves to 38:49 Allah. Some mixed up the Islam that 38:52 came from Allah with their traditions 38:56 and cultures. Now, what we encounter in 39:00 Indonesia at this time is that the 39:02 yardstick for religiosity is not based 39:04 on obedience or total submission to 39:06 Allah, but on the performance of 39:08 rituals. During the Ramadan season, 39:11 watch people fasting, 39:12 performing Taraweeh prayers. Then 39:14 during the Umrah and Hajj seasons, they 39:16 also go back and forth there. In fact, 39:18 many people even sell their possessions 39:20 . Likewise, during prayer, we see them 39:24 praying well, reciting the Quran, even 39:26 competing with beautiful voices, but 39:28 then what happens? Their lives are not 39:31 immersed in Sibghatallah, which is 39:34 Islam. Where Allah says, "Sibghatallah, 39:36 and who is better than Allah in 39:37 coloring?" How do we behave toward our 39:41 families, our community? How is our 39:43 responsibility as an official, 39:46 a representative of the people? What is 39:48 the responsibility of a scholar? Yes, 39:50 which has been entrusted by 39:52 Allah. 39:52 Now, if they pray, they fast, they have 39:55 long beards, darkened foreheads, wear 39:57 cropped trousers, but their lives are 39:59 not in accordance with the rules of 40:01 Allah, not in accordance with the 40:03 Sunnah of the Prophet, which is a mercy 40:06 to the universe, then they are not true 40:08 Muslims, even if they identify 40:10 themselves as Muslims. Now, if we look 40:14 at a nation that practices Islam, even 40:16 in its statecraft and in welcoming 40:19 foreign tourists, it actually leans 40:21 more towards the Maldives. 40:24 The Maldives. 40:27 Foreign tourists come there, but women 40:29 are not allowed to wear bikinis; they 40:31 can swim on the beach, but there are 40:33 specific areas provided for women. 40:36 Then the mosques also function well, 40:38 following Islamic rules. Then how they 40:41 welcome people coming from abroad with 40:43 a warm reception but without 40:44 sacrificing what? Sacrificing Islamic 40:48 values. And subhanallah, the Maldivian 40:52 government can create jobs for its 40:53 people that provide welfare, to the 40:55 point that people flock to the Maldives 40:58 to find work. Because why? The lowest 41:02 salary, the lowest wage can reach up to 41:05 17 million rupiah. It is not as rich as 41:10 our country. 41:11 Yes. 41:11 They only have beautiful scenery. But 41:15 their people, besides welcoming foreign 41:17 tourists without damaging the culture 41:19 that comes from Islam, without 41:21 polluting Islamic values, they are also 41:23 what? One of the largest tuna-exporting 41:27 countries. From the wealth of the sea 41:29 in the middle of the Indian Ocean. They 41:31 are able to provide welfare for their 41:33 people. Oppression will not be 41:35 tolerated. Human rights are protected. 41:37 The Maldives is more appropriately 41:39 called a religious country. Do not look 41:42 only at their prayers, fasting, or 41:44 Umrah. We in Indonesia are still far 41:46 from Islamic guidance. Hm. 41:49 And we need to remind ourselves that 41:51 Islam is not the product of one 41:54 nation's culture. So the culture of any 41:57 nation, including Arab culture. 42:00 Likewise, human behavior should not be 42:02 used as a benchmark; rather, their 42:04 behavior should be adjusted to the 42:06 guidance of Allah. If it is in 42:08 accordance, we call it religious; if 42:09 not, it means they do not respect the 42:11 religion of Allah. And this applies to 42:14 all humans. 42:15 For example, if a Kiai, Ustaz, or Habib 42:17 is not in line with Islamic values. It 42:20 is not Islam that should be sacrificed 42:22 while the Habib or Kiai is exalted. No. 42:24 If they are wrong, if a Habib, Kiai, or 42:26 Ustaz is wrong, they should not be 42:27 followed. Heh. 42:30 Islamic values must be the guide, and 42:32 Islam is a religion of justice; 42:34 although our backgrounds differ, on the 42:36 surface, we are all equal before Allah. 42:39 Those who believe and are pious are the 42:41 noble ones. So, the assessment that the 42:43 Indonesian people are the most 42:45 religious is not true. 42:47 Yes. 42:47 Because the Islam practiced is only 42:49 skin-deep and superficial. Ultimately, 42:51 it harms the honor of Islam and ruins 42:53 our nation's reputation. Because the 42:56 corruptors are those who go on Hajj and 42:59 Umrah. Right? As a closing, Kang Rizal, 43:03 one official at Bulog, he hadn't 43:08 obtained an important position for a 43:10 long time. When the Head of Bulog, a 43:14 new one took office, he got the 43:16 second-in-command spot. He said, " 43:19 Ustadz, I have never experienced Laylat 43:22 al-Qadr before, but I experienced 43:24 Laylat al-Qadr with the appointment of 43:27 so-and-so as the leader." He didn't 43:30 mean the night of Laylat al-Qadr in 43:31 Ramadan. He meant getting an 43:32 opportunity. Getting what? A lucrative 43:36 opportunity for him ever since that 43:38 person was appointed. Even though he is 43:40 a person who recites the Quran, does 43:42 dhikr, and is a mosque administrator. 43:44 But it turns out his behavior is like 43:46 this. A layperson, an ordinary citizen, 43:50 who just prays the obligatory prayers. 43:52 Let's say they also fast the obligatory 43:54 fasts and have good morals. Honestly, 43:56 that is what you call a religious 43:57 person. So this benchmark is what is 44:00 not quite right. Like a sieve, the 44:02 holes are too big. So a lot leaks 44:05 through. 44:06 Right? 44:06 Correct, Ustadz. 44:07 Yes. So if we look closely, we should 44:10 all return to Allah. Following the 44:14 Islam that comes from Allah, brought by 44:16 His Messenger. Not Islam à la 44:19 Nusantara, not Islam à la Arab, not 44:22 even Islam à la Prabowo, but Prabowo 44:25 and everyone fighting for Islam 44:27 Nusantara or the Arab style must return 44:30 to Allah as the mutually agreed-upon 44:33 benchmark. But if it's already linked 44:36 to cultures here and there, it’s 44:38 unclear what true Islam is anymore. 44:41 Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your 44:43 praise, I bear witness that there is no 44:44 god but You; I seek Your forgiveness 44:46 and repent to You. Please forgive me, 44:48 and peace, mercy, and blessings of 44:49 Allah be upon you. 44:50 And peace, mercy, and blessings of 44:51 Allah be upon you. Thank you, 44:53 Jazakallah Khairan, for your time and 44:55 the explanations from the discussion on 44:58 this occasion. Thank you to the 45:00 brothers and sisters who have sent 45:02 their WhatsApp messages. Who is this 45:04 Ibu? Bu Rahma. Then 0813103. They did 45:09 not mention their name here. There is 45:11 Pak Sai. Yes, thank you as well. 45:14 Finally, brothers and sisters, I, Rizal 45:16 Alhq, along with the team on duty, Kang 45:18 Ondi, Kang Algi, and several interns 45:20 who thankfully helped out, take my 45:22 leave. May Allah grant success and 45:23 guidance. Peace, mercy, and blessings 45:25 of Allah be upon you.
