- Rasil TV For the one Islam.
- I seek refuge in Allah from the
- accursed Satan. In the name of Allah,
- the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
- All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the
- worlds. O Allah, send prayers upon
- Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
- Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy
- and prepare for us from our affair,
- right guidance. Our Lord, increase us
- in knowledge and righteousness. To
- proceed. May the peace, mercy, and
- blessings of Allah be upon you all.
- Islam is the religion brought by our
- Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
- And the previous prophets invited all
- of humanity to live in mutual affection
- and respect for one another. The strong
- helping the weak, the rich helping the
- poor, and the knowledgeable sharing
- their knowledge. Not committing
- injustice against one another. If a
- capable person encounters their brother
- in a state of weakness and ignores them
- , then such a person is not among the
- ranks of the believers. Therefore, in
- one tradition, the Prophet said, "
- Whoever does not care about the affairs
- of the Muslims is not one of them." A
- person who does not care about the
- affairs of the Muslims is not of their
- group. Even more specifically, the
- Prophet described how believers relate
- to one another. The believer to the
- believer is like a building, each part
- supporting the other. Believers are
- like a structure that supports one
- another. Therefore, those who do not
- act in this way are not part of the
- group of believers. The Prophet said, "
- The believer is the brother of the
- believer; he does not oppress him nor
- forsake him." A believer is the brother
- of another believer. He will not do him
- harm, and when he is in need, when he
- is in trouble, he will not abandon him,
- but will extend a helping hand. These
- human values are highly emphasized by
- Allah in His holy book. Therefore,
- violations of human dignity and honor
- can destroy one's faith and Islam until
- they are no longer recognized by Allah
- the Almighty as being among the
- believers. For a believer, if they
- commit acts that transgress, trample
- upon their brother's honor, or consume
- their rights, then that person changes
- from a believer to a wicked person (
- fasiq). If he dies in such a state,
- then he dies a bad death (suul khatimah
- ). This is rarely paid attention to by
- Muslims, whose attention is more
- focused on trivial matters rather than
- the fundamentals of their religion.
- Even in ritual matters, instead of
- rituals that guide, educate, purify,
- and straighten the soul, they argue
- about things not explained by the
- Prophet and not contested. Ultimately
- causing conflict and hatred. Reflect on
- this short chapter. I seek refuge in
- Allah from the accursed Satan. In the
- name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the
- Most Merciful. Have you seen him who
- denies the religion? Do you not see or
- consider the person who denies the
- religion? Who is meant by the person
- who denies the religion? Is it an
- idolater? Is it those who consume
- intoxicants? Is it those who gamble? As
- it turns out, the one referred to in
- this verse is none of them. For that is
- the one who drives away the orphan. The
- one meant by the person who denies the
- religion is the one who likes to
- mistreat, oppress, and harshly push
- away the orphan. There is no mercy at
- all in his heart for the weak; his
- heart is hard. Lacking compassion,
- ignoring the suffering of orphans,
- especially when he, as an uncle, is
- tasked with upholding his sibling’s
- will and protecting their inheritance.
- Not only oppressing, but he also
- attempts to seize his sibling’s
- inheritance for himself.
- Fadzalikalladzi yadul yatim. That is
- the type of person who commits
- injustices against orphans. Wala
- yahuddu ala thaamil miskin. And does
- not strive to encourage others to help
- those who are poor. Seeing the poor,
- seeing those in need, seeing those who
- are suffering, yet his heart remains
- untouched. Allah categorizes such
- people as those who deny the religion.
- What is the meaning of religion if it
- is only about prayer? When it fails to
- educate a person to become noble,
- preventing them from committing
- shameful and evil deeds. What is the
- meaning of the Umrah and Hajj we
- perform if they do not build a sense of
- community, humility, and surrender to
- Allah? What is the meaning of all our
- ritual worship if it does not improve
- our morals and character, and make us
- honest and upright people? While in
- society, we are scorned as people with
- dirty intentions, poor character, hard
- hearts, and no concern for others.
- Therefore, the Prophet said, "Ala
- ukhbirukum biahabbikum ilaiya wa
- aqrabikum minni manzilan yaumalqiamah."
- Shall I tell you who is the most
- beloved to me and who will be closest
- to me on the Day of Resurrection? The
- Prophet did not say, "My family, those
- of my tribe, my descendants, or my
- companions." No. But the Prophet said,
- "Ahasinukum akhlaqo, those who have the
- best character." Because the Prophet
- was sent to perfect human character.
- Ahasinukum akhlaqo. Those who lower
- their wings in humility, yield to their
- brothers, and easily draw people toward
- them through their noble character. And
- they, ladies and gentlemen, also easily
- approach others without ever being
- arrogant. They do not just invite
- people to be near them. They also reach
- out to others. These are the people who
- will be close to our Prophet on the Day
- of Resurrection. God speaks of those
- who mistreat orphans and ignore the
- poor, even when they could have urged
- those who are capable to help. Such
- people are categorized by Allah—not
- by me, not by an imam, not by a prophet
- , but by Allah in His Book. After that,
- Allah says, "Fawailun lil musallin,
- alladhina hum 'an salatihim sahun." Woe
- , then, to those who pray, the ones who
- perform their prayers. But how?
- Alladhina hum' an salatihim sahun.
- Those who perform their prayers but are
- heedless and negligent of the message
- within their prayers. 'Sahun' here does
- not mean those who abandon their
- prayers. No. Because Allah mentions '
- al-musallin', those who perform their
- prayers, but they are 'sahuna' an
- salatihim '. Prayer aims to bind us to
- Allah, making us constantly feel truly
- watched by Him. Prayer aims to prevent
- us from committing shameful and evil
- deeds. But we pray, yet we still commit
- vile deeds. We commit abominable acts,
- and our hearts remain hard, devoid of
- any concern at all. So how can a person
- face Allah with their heart and face
- every time, yet still act unjustly
- toward others? They consume their
- brother's wealth; when given a position
- , they commit betrayal. They also enjoy
- acting unjustly, slandering, mocking,
- cursing, demeaning, and tearing down
- the dignity of their brothers. Whereas
- faith should encourage them to help and
- extend a hand. Innamal mukminuna ikhwah
- . So, fawailun lil musalliin. Woe to
- those who perform prayer. Alladina hum'
- an salatihim sahun. Those are the
- people who are not at all touched by
- their prayers. They are heedless and
- negligent of the message of their
- prayer. As if prayer is only for the
- mosque. After that, the connection is
- broken with what? With prayer in their
- daily lives. Even though what Allah
- commanded is not just to pray, but to
- establish prayer. If we go to a site,
- we find many building materials, but
- they are not called a building. Once it
- is erected, constructed, then it is
- called a building. Likewise, prayer is
- not just something Allah commanded us
- to perform, but how we build our prayer
- so that inside the mosque, and outside
- the mosque, the structure of prayer
- continues to guard and preserve us all.
- So woe to those who perform prayer, but
- they are heedless and neglectful of the
- messages of their prayer. Alladzina hum
- yuraun are those who love to seek
- approval in everything they do. Doing
- good deeds to be seen, to be noticed by
- humans, not solely for the sake of
- hoping for the pleasure of Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Wamnaunal ma'un.
- Not just stingy with big things, but
- even with small, trivial things to help
- their brothers. They are reluctant to
- give help. Even though alma'un refers
- to small, trivial things. Someone asks
- for our help, borrows our belongings,
- and we refuse to give. All of this
- depicts a person who is truly selfish,
- only caring for themselves, having no
- sense of mercy or concern for others. A
- person like this, maktubun 'ala jabini
- haqa. A person who has misfortune and
- destruction written on their forehead.
- Even if they pray, even if they fast,
- even if they perform the Hajj
- repeatedly, none of it will be regarded
- by Allah. Only the deeds of those who
- are righteous are accepted. Therefore,
- the Prophet firmly said, "Innallaha
- yarhamu min' ibadiir ruhama." Allah
- shows mercy and compassion to His
- servants who are merciful and
- compassionate. Man la yarham la yurham.
- Those who do not have mercy are far
- from the mercy of Allah. Irhamu man fil
- ard yarhamkum man fisama. Show mercy
- and compassion to those on earth, and
- the One in heaven will show mercy and
- compassion to you. So let us pray
- together to Allah, striving so that our
- prayers and worship make us people
- filled with mercy and compassion among
- one another, and together work to
- uphold our nation's faith.
- Subhanakallahumma wabihamdik ashadu
- alla ilaha illa anta astagfiruka wa
- atubu ilaik. Wassalamualaikum
