Glory be to You, I 2:54 cannot enumerate Your praises; You are 2:56 as You have praised Yourself, so all 2:58 praise is for You until You are 2:59 satisfied, and all praise is for You 3:01 when You are satisfied, and all praise 3:03 is for You after You are satisfied. May 4:17 Allah protect us from slipping. 4:22 Slipping away from the truth is the 4:24 most frightening thing in this life. 4:28 May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala make us 4:31 people who hold firmly to His book, 4:34 walking upon the guidance of the 4:37 sunnahs of our Prophet Muhammad 4:39 sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Until the 4:46 end of our lives, may we truly 4:48 surrender our loyalty solely to Allah, 4:51 His Messenger, and the believers. I say 4:56 as Allah has commanded in His book, 4:59 every time we meet our believing 5:01 brothers and sisters. And when those 5:05 come to you who believe in Our verses, 5:06 say, "Peace be upon you; your Lord has 5:07 decreed upon Himself mercy; and that 5:08 whoever among you does wrong out of 5:09 ignorance and then repents after that 5:10 and corrects himself-indeed, He is 5:11 Forgiving and Merciful." Brothers and 5:17 sisters blessed by Allah, we have 5:20 together reflected on Surah Al-Hadid 5:23 starting from the first verse to verse 5:26 10. Today, God willing, we will 5:30 continue our reflections on Surah 5:32 Al-Hadid starting from verse 11. In the 5:38 previous reflection, Allah Subhanahu wa 5:42 ta'ala showed His greatness and majesty 5:44 . The heavens, the earth, and 5:50 everything between them show their true 5:54 submission to Allah. Also their 5:59 recognition of the majesty, greatness, 6:02 and holiness of Allah Subhanahu wa 6:04 ta'ala. They all acknowledge that Allah 6:09 is their Creator. Allah Subhanahu wa 6:13 ta'ala is the One who has placed them 6:15 in their positions. They are all 6:19 submissive to Allah, glorifying, 6:21 sanctifying, and praising His greatness 6:24 . Sabbaha lillahi maa fis samawati wa 6:28 fil ard. Sabbaha lillahi maa fis 6:32 samawati wal ard wahuwal azizul hakim. 6:36 Everything in the heavens and on earth 6:38 glorifies, sanctifies, and magnifies 6:41 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. This is the 6:45 testimony of the heavens, the earth, 6:47 and all they contain to the oneness of 6:49 Allah. Then verse by verse explains His 6:55 greatness and His majesty, which show 7:01 us that everything begins with Allah, 7:04 depends on Allah, and returns to Him. 7:08 He is the One who grants us life, and 7:11 He is the One who determines our death. 7:16 And eventually, Allah Subhanahu wa 7:18 ta'ala will gather us before Him. Each 7:21 will receive a reward according to the 7:23 deeds they have performed. Then after 7:26 that, Allah Subhanahu asks a question. 7:30 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala asks, what 7:36 prevents us from believing in Allah? 7:41 Even though we owe our entire lives to 7:43 Allah. He is the One who has bestowed 7:46 His favors and bounties upon us. Then 7:50 what also prevents us from sharing with 7:53 our brothers and sisters the excess 7:55 that Allah has given us, the benefits 7:58 and rewards of which will return to us 8:00 all. Allah has the power to give His 8:04 provision directly to the servants He 8:06 wills. But Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 8:09 wants to test us and also give us the 8:12 opportunity to attain glory in the 8:15 sight of Allah as those who distribute 8:18 Allah's favors and provision to His 8:21 servants. Even though Allah has the 8:23 power to do all of that directly. Isn't 8:26 this an honor and a privilege for us? 8:30 The world that we leave behind, which 8:32 we have accumulated, will not be able 8:35 to save us, and will even become a 8:37 burden. But what we spend in the way of 8:41 Allah, that is what constitutes good 8:45 fortune for us all. Allah Subhanahu wa 8:51 ta'ala explains to us that the guidance 9:00 Allah has sent down to us, all its 9:02 benefits return to us. Allah sends down 9:09 His verses to bring us out of the 9:11 darkness into a bright, shining life. 9:15 Who does not want light and guidance in 9:18 this life? Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, 9:23 in His mercy, sends down His verses not 9:26 to burden us, but precisely to 9:28 illuminate our lives. Hualladzi 9:31 yunazilu ala abdihi ayat bayinat 9:34 liyukhrijakum minaz zhulumati. It is He 9:41 who has sent down to His servant clear, 9:44 illuminating verses to bring you out of 9:47 the darkness into a bright, shining 9:50 life. Wa inallaha bikum laraufur rahim. 9:58 Indeed, Allah is truly Most Kind and 10:00 Most Merciful to you. But we, the 10:05 servants loved by Allah, do not realize 10:07 Allah's love for us. The guidance, 10:12 directions, illumination, and signposts 10:15 of life that Allah gives us, we treat 10:17 with suspicion. As if Allah Subhanahu 10:22 wa ta'ala would harm us or burden us. 10:27 Even though all of it is for our own 10:29 good. But having negative assumptions 10:33 about Allah, an arrogant attitude, 10:35 pride, and vanity over what we possess. 10:38 Even though all of that is a gift from 10:39 Allah. This is what prevents us from 10:41 accepting the guidance and direction of 10:43 Allah. Then after that, Allah Subhanahu 10:50 wa ta'ala reminds us that those who 10:52 fought to build Islam from the 10:54 beginning, who spent their wealth, who 10:59 fought in His path from the very start, 11:02 are not the same as those who fought 11:05 after Islam was in a state of glory and 11:08 strength. Those who struggled from the 11:15 beginning when the truth was still weak 11:18 and had few supporters. They are the 11:24 ones who truly attain height and 11:25 nobility in the sight of Allah 11:27 Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Although those who 11:31 came later and spent or struggled will 11:33 also receive a good reward. But Allah 11:38 Subhanahu wa ta'ala reminds us that 11:40 every person will be judged by Allah 11:42 Subhanahu wa ta'ala by their struggle 11:44 and their sincerity. So the lesson for 11:49 us is to race toward virtues, to race 11:52 in fighting for the truth, and to 11:54 invite mankind back to Allah. All 11:58 trials and sufferings that we feel will 12:00 be replaced by Allah. Therefore, do not 12:04 let us convey this da'wah hoping for 12:06 mortal material things that we will 12:08 soon leave behind. Now, in verse 11, 12:13 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala presents a 12:17 profitable offer, proposing a trade 12:20 that will benefit us in this world and 12:23 the hereafter. Manzalladzi yuqridullaha 12:28 qardan hasanan fayudai'fahu lahu walahu 12:32 ajrun karim. Who among you is willing 12:37 to give a good loan to Allah? This 12:42 language of a loan, ladies and 12:44 gentlemen, is language that truly shows 12:50 the graciousness of Allah Subhanahu wa 12:51 ta'ala toward us. Even though 12:55 everything we have is a gift from Allah 12:57 . Then Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, after 13:01 giving to us, asks, "Who among you will 13:04 give a loan to Allah?" Not for Allah 13:08 Subhanahu wa ta'ala because Allah needs 13:11 it. But for your brothers and sisters 13:14 who are in need. For those who are 13:17 struggling in the path of Allah. To 13:20 lift up those who have fallen, to wipe 13:23 away the tears flowing due to sadness 13:26 and hardship. For support in spreading 13:33 the truth among mankind until everyone 13:36 can enjoy the light of truth in the 13:41 midst of their lives. Whatever we spend 13:45 in the path of goodness that we put out 13:48 is a loan that will be repaid by Allah, 13:51 one repaid up to 700 times over. Allah 13:55 will free us from fear and sadness. 13:57 That is the promise of Allah. Not to 14:01 mention the reward that Allah has 14:03 prepared in the hereafter, which cannot 14:06 be compared to what we see in this 14:08 worldly life. We will not experience 14:12 loss in the world or in the hereafter. 14:15 A deposit that is made by someone by 14:22 entrusting their wealth to a bank 14:24 usually only gets 11, 12, or maybe up 14:27 to 20%. But the loan we give to Allah 14:33 will reap a reward 700 times over. So 14:42 who among you is willing to give a good 14:44 loan to Allah? Allah will repay it many 14:48 times over. Not to mention the very 14:51 noble reward Allah has prepared in the 14:54 hereafter. This noble reward is not 14:58 just for the afterlife, but various 15:00 kinds of benefits and goodness will 15:03 also be felt in this life. Their soul 15:06 will be peaceful and at ease. God 15:08 grants them health and blessings in 15:10 their household. Everyone who provides 15:15 help to their brother, everyone who 15:18 eases the distress of their brother, 15:21 everyone who wipes away the tears of 15:24 their brother, everyone who provides 15:27 aid for their food and drink needs— 15:30 all that is given is not only repaid 15:33 materially by God up to 700 times, but 15:39 we will also feel various kinds of 15:41 spiritual delights in this life. God 15:45 keeps calamities away from them. God 15:48 Subhanahu wa ta'ala also withholds His 15:50 wrath upon us. Therefore, there is no 15:54 loss for those who give in charity. 15:56 Look at the people around you, your 15:58 relatives, your brothers, your sisters, 16:00 your nephews and nieces, your uncles, 16:02 your aunts, prioritize those who are 16:06 close. Pay attention to those who have 16:13 no means of support at all, such as 16:16 elderly widows who have weak children, 16:22 or the frail elderly who do not have 16:25 children to support them, or those who 16:32 are ill, those who are disabled. Our 16:37 concern for them will open the doors of 16:40 God's mercy as wide as possible. 16:44 Wallahu fiil abdi kanal abdu fi auni. 16:47 Akhih. God will always help His servant 16:51 as long as the servant is helping. This 16:55 is good news from our Prophet Muhammad 16:57 sallallahu alaihi wasallam. If this is 17:03 God's promise to those who give in 17:06 charity, and those who do this 17:08 willingly are those who believe in 17:11 God's promises in this world and the 17:13 hereafter. Then what is their condition 17:19 when they leave this world? When they 17:23 are in the grave, when they are 17:25 resurrected in the hereafter, let us 17:28 listen to the words of God Subhanahu wa 17:31 ta'ala in the next verse. Ya mukminina 17:36 wal mukminat. anhar khidina fiha abada 17:52 khidina fihaika. faulim. God Subhanahu 18:02 wa ta'ala brings us to witness the 18:05 state of the believers, both men and 18:08 women. God Subhanahu wa ta'ala brings 18:14 us to witness the moments that will 18:21 occur in the future. At the time when 18:26 mankind is gathered, God Subhanahu wa 18:29 ta'ala shows us now, even though the 18:32 time has not yet come, it is a matter 18:35 of the unseen that will eventually 18:38 happen. But for God Subhanahu wa ta'ala 18:41 , He is not bound by dimensions of 18:43 space and time. God Subhanahu wa ta'ala 18:47 knows the past, the present, and the 18:49 future. God Subhanahu wa ta'ala shows 18:53 us the state of those who believe. 18:57 Likewise the state of the hypocrites 18:58 and the disbelievers. Ya mukminina wal 19:04 mukminat. On the day when you will see 19:07 the believers, both men and women. 19:12 Yasuruhum baina aidihim wabianihim. 19:17 Their light shines before them, and 19:20 likewise on their right side. This is 19:25 when they are all gathered in the field 19:28 of Mahsyar; even before they are 19:30 resurrected in the graves, God 19:32 illuminates them. God's reception for 19:35 those who believe and do righteous 19:37 deeds is different from those who are 19:39 defiant. Likewise, at the moment of the 19:43 throes of death. When those who do not 19:48 care at all about the hereafter, who do 19:52 not remember Allah, and who have no 19:54 provisions to face that day, face the 19:57 throes of death in fear. In a state of 20:02 despair, the believers are visited by 20:05 angels bringing glad tidings. Nahnu 20:09 auliyaukum fil hayatid dunya wafil 20:11 akhirah. We are your protectors in the 20:15 life of this world and the life of the 20:17 hereafter. Therefore, previously, 20:20 innalladina qalu. Alaihimul malaikatu 20:26 alla takhafu wala tahzanu wa absyiru 20:28 bil jannatillati kuntum tuadun. People 20:32 who say, "Our Lord is Allah," truly 20:36 live their lives with full submission 20:39 to Allah. Then they remain steadfast on 20:42 the path of Allah. Angels descend in 20:45 succession to visit them, bringing glad 20:49 tidings. When facing the threat of fear 20:52 : "Do not be afraid." When facing 20:55 trials, "Wala tahzanu." Do not be sad. 20:59 Likewise, when they are about to leave 21:00 this world. In those critical moments, 21:03 angels descend bringing glad tidings. 21:07 Wa absyiru bil jannatillati kuntum 21:09 tuadun. Rejoice in the paradise that 21:13 has been promised to you. We are your 21:20 protectors in the life of this world 21:22 and the life of the hereafter. Walakum 21:25 fiha ma tasytahi anfusukum walakum fiha 21:28 ma taddaun. There, you will find 21:31 whatever your souls desire, and 21:36 whatever you ask for is available 21:40 before you. So, in this 12th verse, 21:45 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala illustrates 21:49 for us the state of the believers, with 21:53 glad tidings and their light. Ya 21:59 ayyuhal mukminuna wal mukminat. When 22:02 you witness the state of the believers, 22:04 men and women, light shining before 22:06 them, and their light illuminating them 22:12 from before them and to their right. 22:18 Busrakumul yaum. Glad tidings for you 22:22 this day. Jannatun tajri min tahtihal 22:26 anhar khalidina fiha. Gardens of 22:29 paradise with various rivers flowing 22:32 beneath them. A combination of beauty, 22:41 a combination also of fragrant scents, 22:45 delicious tastes, and also hearing, 22:48 which is truly beautiful. When 22:52 witnessing nature with its murmuring 22:55 sounds, the flowing rivers, the milk, 22:57 the honey, and the non-intoxicating 23:00 wine with clear water passing through 23:02 the dwellings of the inhabitants of 23:04 paradise. Not milk that comes from 23:08 animals, but milk that gushes from 23:11 springs. Likewise, not honey that comes 23:14 from bees, but springs in paradise that 23:17 will emit honey. Not wine that comes 23:22 from processed fruits, but from 23:25 heavenly springs that flow to form 23:29 rivers that do not intoxicate, do not 23:32 cause headaches, and do not make one 23:36 vomit from drunkenness. Likewise, the 23:41 clear water. So, a combination of 23:45 beauty from various sides will be felt 23:48 by the believers. But compare that with 23:52 our life in the world. Is it not a 23:55 shame? Is it not a loss if we 23:57 prioritize this brief world while 23:59 ignoring the eternal hereafter with all 24:01 its pleasures? Gathering with the 24:04 prophets and the beloved of Allah. Glad 24:09 tidings for you this day. Gardens of 24:12 paradise with various rivers flowing 24:14 beneath them, eternal therein. You will 24:18 no longer worry about leaving behind 24:22 your joys and your beautiful homes. You 24:25 will be gathered together with the 24:28 families you love, on the condition 24:32 that you have faith, do good deeds, 24:34 prepare for that day, and are not 24:37 swayed or tempted by worldly life. 24:41 Instead, let the world be our provision 24:44 for meeting Allah. To remain therein 24:47 forever. That is the true success, a 24:51 great fortune that cannot be compared 24:55 to the success one achieves by gaining 24:58 the highest titles, accumulating the 25:01 most wealth, earning empty names full 25:05 of falsehood, or obtaining beautiful 25:08 wives as companions and successful 25:11 children. Know that all of that is 25:16 merely a game. It is all just a 25:21 fleeting drama whose end we will see in 25:24 the afterlife. Many people, because of 25:29 this worldly life, forget themselves, 25:31 forget their life's purpose, forget 25:33 their families, and forget their 25:35 children. They do not think about 25:39 preparing for their final destination. 25:43 Their gaze is fixed solely on worldly 25:45 life. When they achieve the world and 25:48 success for themselves and their 25:49 children, they consider that to be true 25:51 success. They proudly recount their 25:56 children one by one graduating with 25:59 good degrees and obtaining high 26:02 positions. Every time they meet their 26:08 friends, they boast about all of it. 26:11 Yet, none of this is something to be 26:13 proud of. All of this is a test for 26:15 which you will later be held 26:16 accountable by Allah. Only those who 26:19 are wise in being grateful for Allah's 26:21 blessings are the truly happy ones. 26:24 They do not feel proud of all this, but 26:27 they are grateful to Allah for His 26:28 guidance and His grace. They pray that 26:31 their families and children are kept 26:33 within His pleasure. Able to dedicate 26:36 their lives with what Allah has given 26:38 in the struggles they undertake. That 26:40 is true fortune. Yauma yaquul 26:46 munafiquuna wal munafiqatu lilladzina 26:48 amanu minikum. On the same day, at the 26:56 same time, the believers are 26:58 illuminated by their light in front of 27:00 them and to their right, with good news 27:03 welcoming them, while at the same time, 27:06 on the same day, are the hypocrites. 27:12 You will witness their state is truly 27:14 pitiful. Yaquul munafiquuna wal 27:18 munafiqatu lilladzina amanu unzhuruna 27:21 naqtabis min nuurikum. At the same time 27:26 , on the same day, the hypocrites, both 27:29 men and women, are those who hide 27:31 disbelief in their hearts. They show 27:35 faith and Islam. But their hearts do 27:38 not like anything that comes from Allah 27:40 and His Messenger. They want to live 27:43 freely, unbound by Allah’s laws, 27:46 Allah’s rules, or the guidance and 27:48 directions of His Messenger. Islam is 27:51 only as far as their tongues. Islam is 27:54 just an identity written on their ID 27:57 cards, but it does not show true 28:00 submission to Allah. On that same day, 28:09 the hypocrite men and women will say, " 28:12 Unzhuruna naqtabis min nuurikum.""Wait 28:16 for us, let us follow along behind your 28:19 light." They do not possess any light. 28:22 Light shines upon those who believe. 28:25 Now, these hypocrites, with deep 28:28 wailing, beg the believers. "Wait for 28:31 us, let us gain some of your light," so 28:35 that we may follow along behind your 28:37 light. Qila irji'uu waraa'akum. At that 28:43 moment, they were immediately driven 28:45 away by the angels. Irjiu warakum. 28:48 Please go back, turn around and retreat 28:50 . Faltamisura. Please go and seek light 28:54 from somewhere else. Faduriba bainahum 29:01 bisur lahu babun batinuhu fihir rahmatu 29:05 wahiruhu minqibalihilab. Finally, the 29:09 believing men and women were separated 29:12 from the hypocrites. Separated by a 29:16 wall that divides them. batinuhu fih 29:22 rahmah. Inside that wall, the believers 29:26 live in an atmosphere full of mercy. 29:30 Walking toward Allah, toward the place 29:32 Allah has prepared for them. Wahiruhu 29:36 minqibaliilab. But outside that wall, 29:39 torment surrounds them. That is what 29:42 the disbelievers and hypocrites feel. 29:47 Yunadunahum. The hypocrites witness the 29:52 believers in an atmosphere that is cool 29:54 , peaceful, safe, and blissful, 29:57 enjoying Allah's grace. Meanwhile, they 30:02 , the hypocrites outside, feel 30:04 suffering and despair due to their past 30:08 ignorance. Only then do they realize 30:12 that the positions they once held were 30:16 merely pleasures full of falsehoods. 30:22 Positions that were completely 30:24 powerless to save them, protect them, 30:27 or bring them any glory on that day. 30:32 Yunadunahum alamnakum maakum. The 30:36 hypocrites call out to the believers. 30:38 They watch; although separated, they 30:41 can witness what the believers are 30:43 experiencing. Yunadunahum alam nakum 30:47 maakum. The hypocrites call out to the 30:50 believers. Were we not with you? We 30:53 were friends, we were family. Qalu bala 30:58 , the believers answer, "It is true, we 31:00 were with you, and you were with us." 31:04 But our ways of life were different. We 31:06 believed in Allah, we submitted to Him, 31:10 and we strove in His path. While you, 31:13 walakinnakum fatantum anfusakum. You 31:17 let yourselves fall into temptation. 31:23 You were seduced by the worldly life, 31:26 tempted by its fragments and its life 31:29 full of falsehood. Wakinnakum fatantum 31:33 anfusakum. But you let yourselves fall 31:37 into temptation, into seduction. 31:41 Wakinakum fatantum anfusakum. And on 31:47 that day, at that moment, you hoped for 31:49 our ruin, our destruction. Not only did 31:54 you let yourselves fall into temptation 31:56 , you even wished for the ruin and 31:58 destruction of us, the believers. You 32:02 were not happy with the believers. 32:05 Anything related to the believers was, 32:07 in your eyes, lowly and shameful. But 32:12 anything that drew you toward your 32:15 world, toward pleasures and fleeting 32:18 desires, that is what you welcomed. 32:25 Wakinnakum fatantum anfusakum 32:27 watarabbastum. But you let yourselves 32:31 fall into temptation. You were tempted, 32:35 and you also hoped for our destruction. 32:40 Waghrrukumul amani. Waghrrukumul amani. 32:45 And you were tossed about in 32:47 uncertainty and doubt. Waghrrukumul 32:51 amani hatta jaa amrullah. And you were 32:55 lulled, deceived by false hopes until 32:57 the decree of Allah came. The decree of 33:02 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, when your 33:04 life ended and you were resurrected to 33:07 gather at this moment. You see your own 33:10 foolishness clearly. Even though you 33:16 previously viewed us as ignorant, 33:18 backward, and left behind. You were 33:22 tossed about in doubt, deceived, and 33:25 lulled by fantasies until Allah’s 33:27 decree arrived. And you allowed 33:32 yourselves to be deceived by Satan, by 33:35 the devil the deceiver and his 33:37 accomplices. Faluma la yuk minkum 33:44 fidyatun w minalladina kafaru 33:46 mawakumunaru maulakum wal masir. So on 33:52 this day, no ransom will be accepted 33:55 from you, even if you possessed the 33:58 world and everything in it, then 34:00 multiplied it. You wish to use it as a 34:04 ransom for yourselves, but Allah will 34:06 not accept it. Just as Allah has 34:09 explained in so many verses. 34:11 Innalladina kafaru lahum mail ardhi 34:15 jamlahu liyaftadu bihi minilabi 34:20 yaumalqiamati ma tuqbil minhum 34:23 walahumzabun alim. If the disbelievers 34:31 possessed the world and everything in 34:33 it, then multiplied it many times over 34:35 to ransom themselves from the Hellfire, 34:37 it would not be accepted by Allah. But 34:41 today, while you are alive, what are 34:44 you spending in the way of Allah? What 34:47 you give in charity and the good deeds 34:50 you perform will be recorded in your 34:53 book of deeds and valued by Allah 34:56 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Therefore, do not 35:00 let us be deceived by worldly life. Let 35:03 us not merely hoard and collect worldly 35:06 decorations for a fleeting life. Let us 35:10 use those worldly decorations to adorn 35:14 our lives in the afterlife. Share, care 35:20 for those around us. Also, support the 35:24 struggles in the way of Allah that 35:26 invite people to return to Him. 35:31 Mawakumunar. Your final dwelling place 35:35 is the Hellfire. Hiya maulakum. That is 35:39 the place that will be your shelter. 35:43 Wabisal masir. And it is the worst 35:47 possible destination. Waliyadubillah. 35:51 After that, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala 35:57 knocks on our hearts to awaken us all, 36:00 to the truth. Namely, "Lilladina amanu 36:04 taksyaubuhumikrillahi w nazala minal 36:08 haqq wala yakunuadina utul kitaba min 36:12 qoblu fa alaihimul amadu faqat." 36:15 Qulubuhum wairum minhum fas, has the 36:20 time not yet come? Even though we have 36:24 gone through worldly life, encountering 36:26 all its twists and turns. It turns out 36:30 what we encounter right now is the same 36:32 as what we encountered yesterday. The 36:37 difference is merely skin-deep; what we 36:40 faced in the past is essentially the 36:42 same as what we encounter today. That 36:46 is the life of this world. The 36:48 pleasures and enjoyments of this world 36:50 are actually very shallow. Everything 36:55 is full of limitations. If a person 36:58 thinks carefully, they will find that 37:02 every pleasure obtained actually 37:04 requires a greater sacrifice. The world 37:08 takes more from us than what it gives 37:10 to us. Has the time not yet come for 37:18 those who believe to have their hearts 37:20 humbled? To humble their hearts in the 37:24 remembrance of Allah. Remembering Allah 37:28 every time our eyes look upon the 37:30 creations of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala 37:33 around us. We will find the greatness 37:36 and majesty of Allah. Every time we 37:40 hear something or smell something, we 37:42 will find Allah's signs scattered 37:45 before us. But it turns out all of this 37:49 only stirs and excites our desires, 37:51 without adding anything to our insight. 37:55 It does not enlighten our hearts, nor 37:57 does it make us submissive before the 37:59 greatness and majesty of Allah. Has the 38:04 time not come for those who believe 38:06 that their hearts should feel humble in 38:08 the remembrance of Allah? And what was 38:12 revealed of the truth; also 38:13 contemplating the truth that Allah 38:15 revealed in His books to the prophets 38:17 and His messengers. And do not be like 38:20 those who were given the Scripture 38:22 before. And do not let them follow in 38:25 the footsteps of the people of the 38:26 Scripture before you. So the time 38:29 passed for them. Because the distance 38:33 was long between them and their 38:35 remembrance of Allah, and their hearts 38:38 were left for too long without being 38:40 nourished by reflection. Contemplating 38:45 the verses of Allah, little by little, 38:47 their hearts hardened and became like 38:49 stone. So Allah reminds us all, do not 38:53 be like the people of the Scripture 38:54 before them. Because their hearts were 38:59 neglected for too long, left without 39:01 being watered by the remembrance of 39:03 Allah, by the verses of Allah. Then 39:07 their hearts became hard. Their hearts 39:09 hardened and became like stone. And 39:10 many of them are defiantly disobedient. 39:12 And most of them live immersed in 39:15 defiance. Allah invites us all, amidst 39:21 the trials and charms of this worldly 39:23 life, so that we do not forget. Lately 39:31 the various kinds of offerings 39:33 presented to us regarding the pleasures 39:35 of this world have truly intoxicated 39:37 most of humanity, making them forget 39:40 the purpose of their lives. Therefore, 39:46 the struggle at this time is actually 39:48 heavier compared to the past. Not only 39:53 for adults, starting from children who 39:55 are busy with gadgets, busy with 39:57 various kinds of shows they watch on 40:00 YouTube, on television, news that is 40:05 easy for them to obtain, even though 40:07 most of it is detrimental to them. If 40:10 only they did not know, it would be 40:11 better. Not to mention the hoax news 40:14 that circulates, the slanders that are 40:17 scattered everywhere. All of this truly 40:23 becomes a very heavy obstacle for a 40:25 servant to draw closer to Allah. So ask 40:29 Allah for His help to assist you all. 40:33 Ask Allah, never grow weary, so that 40:35 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala grants His 40:38 guidance and direction to us all. 40:41 Granting us steadfastness and patience 40:43 until we complete the trials in this 40:46 worldly life safely and successfully. 40:49 Then in closing, "Know that Allah gives 40:52 life to the earth after its 40:53 lifelessness." Know truly that Allah is 40:59 the one who gives life to the earth 41:01 after its death. Dry, barren lands, 41:04 plants that have turned black in a dead 41:07 state. Once the rain falls, they come 41:10 back to life. So too will we be, later, 41:14 after our death. How easy it is for us, 41:16 for Allah, to bring us all back to life 41:18 . "Know that Allah gives life to the 41:20 earth after its lifelessness." Know 41:23 truly that Allah has the power to give 41:26 life to the earth after its death. We 41:29 have made clear to you the signs, that 41:31 you might use reason. Truly, We have 41:34 explained Our verses to you so that you 41:36 may become people of understanding. If 41:42 you are willing to contemplate, willing 41:44 to think, you will surely see that the 41:47 verses of Allah in His book can be 41:49 proven through the signs found in the 41:51 heavens and on earth. Including us, we 41:55 are signs that show the greatness and 41:57 majesty of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 42:01 Brothers and sisters who are blessed by 42:03 Allah. Our life in this world is not 42:05 for long. Let us together constantly 42:11 remind ourselves and our families to 42:14 also pray to Allah, that He may truly 42:18 pour patience into our hearts as we 42:21 undergo life's trials and make our 42:24 hearts fully loyal to Him. Our life and 42:28 our death are for Allah Subhanahu wa 42:30 Ta'ala alone. May this world not become 42:33 an obstacle for us in our journey 42:35 toward Allah. Instead, we hope to use 42:39 this world as provisions for the 42:42 afterlife, which will gather us with 42:46 His messenger, together with his family 42:51 and his companions. Likewise with the 42:53 prophets, the messengers, and the 42:56 brethren of our Prophet Muhammad, 42:58 sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wasallam. 43:02 Rabbana atina min ladunka rahma wahayi 43:04 lana min amrina rasyada. Allahumma 43:08 alimna ma yanfa'una wanfa'na bima ' 43:10 allamtana. Subhanakallahumma wabihamdik 43:14 ashadu alla ilaha illa anta 43:16 astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik. And from 43:19 you all.
