0:00 It's very simple there, the electricity 0:02 goes out every day. Sometimes it’s on 0:06 for 6 hours, off for 4, on for 4; 0:08 it’s off every day. Also, gas can be 0:14 hard to find. There were times when I 0:18 waited in line for gas for 1 hour and 0:20 45 minutes. Money is sometimes hard to 0:23 come by, too. We exchange dollars, you 0:25 see. But we have the dollars. We have 0:27 to go to a money changer to swap them 0:29 for rials. Sometimes the rials run out, 0:31 so we’re limited. But despite all 0:34 those limitations, the people of Tarim 0:37 have the virtue of never complaining. 0:41 They feel that life—well, this isn't 0:44 the ultimate goal. Later in the 0:46 afterlife, things will be wonderful, so 0:47 they just go with the flow. They never 0:49 complain. Sometimes I jokingly ask, or 0:51 rather tease them, "What's with the 0:53 government? Why is it like this?" 0:56 What’s the answer from the people of 0:57 Tarim? "Alhamdulillah, this is just how 0:58 life is, this is how it really is." 1:01 That's why when someone passes away, 1:03 the first thing they say isn't just " 1:04 Inna lillahi..." For example, if 1:06 someone says, "Your aunt passed away." 1:09 The first word they say is, " 1:10 Alhamdulillah." Alhamdulillah. Because 1:12 they believe that, praise be to God, 1:15 the trials of this world are over. Now 1:17 they can just enjoy the happiness of 1:19 the afterlife. So, I finally realized, 1:24 oh, it turns out there are still people 1:25 like this. They are incredibly helpful 1:27 to one another. When I first arrived, I 1:31 was looking for someone. I had an 1:35 appointment to meet the trash collector 1:37 who picks up garbage every day. I 1:39 didn't know where his house was. The 1:41 landmark was in front of Raudah Mosque. 1:43 When I arrived at Raudah Mosque, I 1:44 called him but couldn't get through; 1:46 his number was inactive. I was confused 1:48 . Suddenly, someone walked by pushing a 1:50 cart. He was in a hurry because he was 1:52 on his way somewhere with that cart. He 1:53 saw the confused look on my face. Then 1:56 he asked, "What's wrong? Is there 1:57 anything I can help with?""Let me serve 1:59 you." He said, "How can I be of service 2:01 to you?" I said, "No, no, it's alright. 2:02 I'm just looking for someone.""Oh, 2:04 what's his name?" I said, "His name is 2:06 Hadi." Hadi. "There’s no one named 2:08 Hadi here," he said. Oh, I see. But I 2:11 have his phone number. I said, "I have 2:12 his phone number here." He said, "Oh, 2:14 wait, just a moment." Then he left. I 2:17 thought, "Oh well, maybe he really 2:20 couldn't help." Turns out, after a 2:22 while, he came back with a cellphone. 2:24 He had actually gone all the way home 2:25 to get his phone. "What's the phone 2:27 number?" He wrote it down. "Here, here, 2:29 here." After he wrote it down, a name 2:31 popped up on the phone. "Oh, this isn't 2:32 Hadi.""He goes by a different name here 2:34 .""He's called Budi." For example. "Oh, 2:36 this is Budi." Wait a minute, he 2:38 disappeared again. He disappeared again 2:40 . Then he came again, bringing someone 2:43 along, holding someone's hand. "Here's 2:45 Budi," he said. That's what he said. " 2:46 That's it, right? This is Budi." 2:49 Apparently, he had gone to pick Budi up 2:50 . He brought Budi to me. I had met Budi 2:53 . Then he left again. That's how his 2:56 life was. And it wasn't just once or 2:57 twice. If we're riding a motorcycle and 3:00 it breaks down, just push it for a bit. 3:03 Suddenly, someone will approach us and 3:05 offer fuel from their own bike. Even if 3:07 they have very little fuel, they give 3:09 it to us so we can reach a gas station 3:11 or get home. Because life is simple and 3:15 people are so helpful, Allah grants 3:17 them blessings. The region is blessed; 3:21 none of the residents are stressed. I 3:23 don't think—I’ve never heard of 3:25 anyone in Tarim committing suicide due 3:27 to stress. Is there anyone in Tarim who 3:29 went mad from life's frustrations? I 3:30 don't think so, I've never heard of it, 3:31 even though life there is very simple, 3:33 Ma'am. I have a friend who takes care 3:37 of widows; he helps them. There are 3:40 maybe about 100 to 200 widows. He is 3:42 the real "Abu Janda"(Father of Widows). 3:45 Because he looks after widows left 3:49 behind by their husbands in Tarim. He 3:52 told me a story. Every month, he gives 3:54 them an envelope containing about 3:56 200,000 rupiah. 200,000 for one family. 4:00 200,000 for one family. He mentioned 4:02 there was a time he forgot to deliver 4:04 it to one widow. After he forgot, he 4:07 only remembered two days later, "Oh, I 4:09 missed one." He went to the house and 4:12 gave it to her. It turned out there had 4:15 been no rice in the house for days. And 4:17 this person had not asked my friend for 4:20 anything. Usually, people might drop 4:23 hints, like "it hasn't arrived yet," or 4:26 "it's late." But not her; she just 4:29 stayed in her house, keeping her 4:31 dignity by not asking. In the end, 4:33 Allah provides enough blessings. If you 4:36 lived there, maybe the facilities 4:38 aren't adequate, but there is peace in 4:40 your heart. There is peace in the heart 4:43 . And I've heard many stories, 4:46 spiritual stories, you know. There are 4:49 many people there from Europe, America, 4:51 and Australia. One European person told 4:56 me, "I once—he said—one day I heard 4:59 about the virtues of reciting salawat." 5:03 Allahumma salli ala sayyidina Muhammad 5:04 wa ala ali sayyidina Muhammad. 5:06 Allahumma salli ala sayyidina Muhammad. 5:08 One scholar said this, he said, "If we 5:10 have a problem, try solving it with 5:15 salawat." Try solving it with salawat. 5:18 God willing, you will find the solution 5:20 . Maybe it's not that the salawat 5:22 directly provides the solution, but God 5:24 willing, Allah's help will come. 5:26 Finally, one day, this foreigner told 5:28 me that one day he went down—he lived 5:31 in a 5 th-floor apartment—to pray 5:34 Fajr at the mosque. That apartment, 5:36 ladies and gentlemen. To enter the 5:39 apartment building, you need a key card 5:42 to open the door. So, to get into the 5:45 apartment area, to the building, you 5:47 have to tap your card to unlock it. Yes 5:50 , the apartment requires a card. He 5:53 left for the dawn prayer and forgot his 5:55 card. He forgot to bring his card. So, 5:58 when he realized he forgot his card, he 6:00 thought, "Oh no, what do I do?" It 6:03 wasn't even sunrise yet, just after 6:05 dawn. If he shouted, his wife wouldn't 6:08 hear him on the fifth floor, and he’d 6:10 left his phone behind, too. What was he 6:13 to do? Finally, he remembered, "Oh, the 6:16 Ustaz once said if we have a problem, 6:18 recite Salawat." That's what he said. 6:21 He told this story while on a 6:22 pilgrimage to Prophet Hud. Many people 6:24 heard him, and many can testify that he 6:26 told this story. So, he started 6:28 reciting Salawat. Ladies, Allahumma 6:30 shalli ala sayyidina Muhammad wa ali 6:31 sayyidina Muhammad. Allahumma shalli 6:33 ala sayyidina Muhammad wa ali sayyidina 6:34 Muhammad. He kept count as he recited 6:35 the Salawat. On the 50th recitation, he 6:39 saw someone way down at the end. Oh, 6:42 there was someone smiling at him. Right 6:46 at the edge of his vision. He recited 6:48 Salawat, and the person moved closer. 6:50 Then he stopped reciting, and the 6:51 person stopped too. The person stopped 6:53 moving. He thought, "Ah, must be a 6:55 coincidence," so he started reciting 6:56 slowly. "Allahumma shalli ala sayyidina 6:57 Muhammad." He stepped forward, and the 6:58 person moved too. He stopped, and the 6:59 person stopped; it kept going like that 7:01 , ma'am. He felt, "Ah, that's 7:03 impossible." He tested it again, 7:04 reciting, "Allahumma shalli ala 7:05 sayyidina Muhammad wa ala sayyidina 7:07 Muhammad." And the person walked again, 7:08 ma'am. Slowly, the person came toward 7:09 him. He stopped reciting, and the 7:11 person stopped again. By the 75th count 7:14 , the person was getting much closer. 7:16 He stopped once more. As it turned out, 7:18 that person stopped too. Whenever he 7:19 stopped reciting, the person would stop 7:21 . And this is a true story experienced 7:24 by a European living in Tarim. Because 7:27 in Tarim, there are many Europeans 7:28 living there. Then, ma'am, do you know 7:32 that at the 75th count, they were 7:34 closer, almost in the middle, he 7:35 recited again. Getting closer, closer, 7:38 and closer. At the 99th count, the 7:40 person was right in front of the door, 7:43 smiling, and reached into their pocket. 7:45 They took out a card, tapped it, the 7:47 door clicked open, and the person 7:50 walked away. This European man had 7:52 never seen that person in his apartment 7:54 complex before. Wallahualam (God knows 7:56 best). Who was that person? Perhaps an 7:58 angel. Who knows, maybe God sent them 8:02 to help him. The apartment was opened. 8:05 Finally, he was able to go back 8:06 upstairs. He shared this story himself. 8:08 This story was told during the 8:11 pilgrimage to Prophet Hud. So in Tarim, 8:14 well not in Tarim, in Hadhramaut there 8:15 is the tomb of the Prophet Hud. Indeed, 8:18 the tomb of Prophet Hud is there. Every 8:20 year, many people from all over 8:21 Hadhramaut make a pilgrimage there. We 8:23 arrange for all the great scholars to 8:25 gather there. This story was told, and 8:28 I heard it after the event finished, up 8:31 here, Ma'am. Up on the hill. After the 8:34 event finished, I was about to go home. 8:36 My sandal was missing. Wow, my sandal 8:39 is gone. So on this hill, I had placed 8:42 my sandals here. Below it was already a 8:45 ravine. My sandal was gone. I 8:48 remembered the story someone told 8:49 earlier. Whatever the problem, recite 8:52 salawat. I tested it out. Ah, what a 8:54 coincidence, I can test this. Is this 8:56 story true or not? I recited salawat 8:58 because my sandal was missing. I 8:59 recited "Allahumma sholli 'ala 9:00 sayyidina Muhammad wa' ala ali 9:01 sayyidina Muhammad.""Allahumma sholli ' 9:03 ala sayyidina Muhammad wa' ala ali 9:04 sayyidina Muhammad." Where is it? I 9:05 couldn't find it, Ma'am. I didn't need 9:06 anything else. Just recite it, after 9:09 all, there wasn't much I could do 9:11 besides searching. To make the search 9:13 easier, I recited salawat. "Allahumma 9:15 sholli." I recited salawat and suddenly 9:18 I saw one of them. Wow, that's a sign. 9:23 Finally, I picked up one sandal and I 9:25 continued reciting the salawat. " 9:27 Allahumma sholli 'ala Muhammad, 9:29 Muhammad." The area was cleared, and I 9:30 still didn't find it. Oh, what should I 9:32 do? There was nothing left for me to 9:34 search. Fine, I'll just go home. But I 9:36 kept reciting salawat as I went down. " 9:38 Allahumma sholli," and in a place I 9:40 never expected, right in the middle, my 9:42 sandal was tucked away, which I found 9:45 while I was reciting salawat. So, Ma'am 9:49 , it's true that reciting salawat can 9:50 be a solution. That's right, for the 9:52 ladies and gentlemen, if you can't be 9:54 told, just recite salawat at home. It's 9:57 true, for the gentlemen and ladies, if 9:59 your spouse asks for extra shopping 10:01 money in the middle of the month, 10:03 recite salawat, Sir. God willing, Allah 10:06 will send help. Maybe their hearts will 10:09 be softened, or maybe provision will 10:11 come from an unexpected direction. 10:15 That's why the people of Tarim say, " 10:17 Try to recite salawat at least 1,000 10:19 times a day." Make the minimum 1,000, 10:22 recite salawat 1,000 times. When we 10:25 recite salawat, the Prophet Muhammad 10:27 peace be upon him knows we are reciting 10:28 it, so we become closer to the Prophet 10:30 Muhammad peace be upon him. Including 10:34 the ladies who haven't been on Umrah, 10:35 please raise your hands. Those who have 10:38 been on Umrah, raise your hands. So, 10:40 there are still some gentlemen who have 10:42 been on Umrah, raise your hands. So, it 10:45 means there are still those who haven't 10:46 been on Umrah. How can we go on Umrah 10:50 when we don't have the money? How do we 10:54 do it? Recite salawat. That's right, 10:58 Ma'am. Allah. Alhamdulillah, Allah 11:02 entrusted me to be with Silaturahim 11:04 Travel for quite a long time, 5 to 7 11:07 years I was with Ustaz Heri running 11:09 Silaturahim Travel. I found many 11:12 pilgrims who didn't have the means, who 11:14 were not financially capable, but they 11:16 could reach the holy land through their 11:18 efforts. There are all sorts of ways, 11:21 Ma'am. Some recite salawat until 11:22 finally Allah calls them. Others have 11:25 their own efforts, like my friend who 11:27 asked me to pray for him. 11:29 Coincidentally, I was in the Holy Land 11:30 at that time. He asked me to pray that 11:32 he could get there too. I told him the 11:34 story of a taxi driver. Maybe you 11:36 ladies already know it. There is a 11:38 story. Huh? Not yet? Ah, let me retell 11:44 it then. I've told this story a few 11:47 times on the radio. Perhaps you’re 11:48 tired of hearing it. So, there was a 11:51 taxi driver, Ma'am. A Bluebird taxi 11:53 driver. A Bluebird taxi driver. He 11:56 really wanted to go on Umrah but didn't 11:57 have the money. He didn't have enough. 12:00 Even meeting his daily quota was 12:01 sometimes a struggle. So, what he did 12:03 was wear a Hajj cap while driving. His 12:07 effort was simple, just wearing a Hajj 12:08 cap. A cap like this, but white. 12:11 Whenever he drove, he would wear that 12:12 Hajj cap. One day, he had a young 12:16 executive passenger. A young executive 12:19 sitting in the back. The passenger 12:22 asked, "Sir, why are you wearing a Hajj 12:24 cap?" Bluebird uniforms don't include a 12:25 Hajj cap. The taxi driver replied, " 12:27 It's alright, Sir. This is my effort so 12:30 that Allah will call me to the Holy 12:32 Land. That is why I wear this Hajj cap 12:34 everywhere, even when I'm driving." The 12:37 passenger just smiled and sat quietly. 12:40 Upon arriving at the destination, the 12:42 passenger got out. Before getting out, 12:44 he handed him a thin envelope. "Sir, 12:46 this is to help you get to the Holy 12:48 Land." The taxi driver accepted it. "Oh 12:50 , there's no need, Sir.""No need.""It's 12:52 okay.""No need, Sir.""No need." But he 12:54 kept pulling it. "No need, Sir.""No 12:55 need." But he took it. Finally, the 12:57 taxi driver got curious about how much 12:59 was inside. He thought maybe 500,000 13:02 for a down payment, or maybe a million 13:04 for the travel agency. Now, he was a 13:06 listener of Silaturahim radio. As soon 13:09 as the passenger left, he was curious 13:11 and opened it. Do you ladies know how 13:13 much was in there? That thin envelope 13:19 actually contained dollars, not rupiah. 13:23 That day, the travel agency was 13:25 advertising a 5-star Umrah package on 13:28 the radio for that exact amount. Huh? 13:35 When he came to the travel office, he 13:37 told me the story directly, "Brother 13:40 Musa, I want to sign up. I have this 13:42 money." He told me the story. So, Allah 13:45 called him immediately, Ma'am. Now, 13:46 about my friend who asked for prayers 13:49 while I was on Umrah, I told him that 13:51 story. "Do you know what my friend did? 13:54 ""Oh, so you don't necessarily have to 13:56 have the money?" Eventually, he had 13:58 some Dirham savings. Dinar. Dinar 14:02 savings. Dinar. Dirham? Dinar. Yes. Yes 14:06 . He had one Dinar coin in his savings. 14:08 My savings for Umrah, when converted to 14:10 Rupiah, were around 5 million. But they 14:13 didn't grow because, well, as mothers, 14:15 we have family needs, so the savings 14:17 didn't increase. Finally, Mas, if one 14:20 Ustaz has arrived, I don't know. Mas 14:24 Fajar. If the Ustaz has arrived, please 14:25 let me know. If the Ustaz has arrived, 14:28 please let me know. Huh? Oh, it's 14:34 already done, Ma'am. Continue. No. It's 14:39 not good, I'm the last one. In the end, 14:42 my friend withdrew her savings. She 14:45 printed a large banner for her room. It 14:47 had a picture of the Kaaba. Every day 14:49 she would pray as if she were facing 14:50 the Kaaba on the big wall. Every day 14:53 she prayed with her qibla facing that 14:54 direction, toward the Kaaba. She 14:56 imagined it; she visualized it. As if 14:58 she were praying right in front of the 14:59 Kaaba. The remainder of her money, 15:02 maybe about 300,000, she used as a down 15:05 payment for Umrah; she immediately paid 15:07 the deposit for a December departure. 15:10 Now, where the rest of the money came 15:11 from, she didn't know, what mattered 15:12 was that she had made the effort. 15:28 December. if it reaches the payment. 15:43 she has the making that becomes before 15:52 this becomes, uh, part. we are part. 16:02 one of. what. so, uh. we. that she. so. 16:32 people. that. surely we. it means. she 17:03 has, there is, she doesn't. but. there 17:16 is. as for me. In the name of Allah, 18:52 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 18:54 Alright, ladies, those in the back, 18:56 perhaps move a little closer so the 18:58 voice can be heard more clearly. All 19:01 praise is due to Allah, Lord of the 19:02 worlds. We thank Allah SWT that today 19:05 we can gather at the mosque for 19:07 fellowship at the Umahad assembly today 19:09 . God willing, we will learn much and 19:12 gain beneficial knowledge. Those who 19:15 brought books, please take them out; 19:16 those who brought pens, please take 19:17 notes. Because taking notes is how we 19:20 bind knowledge. So, I ask that in the 19:23 future, when attending an assembly or a 19:25 lecture, please don't come empty-handed 19:27 . At the very least, bring a book and a 19:29 pen. Take notes. Whatever the Ustaz 19:32 says that we can record, record it. 19:34 Okay. Today, God willing, we will, uh. 19:39 hold a study session with the theme " 19:41 Leaning on the Almighty," finding peace 19:43 amidst uncertainty. Hopefully, the 19:47 knowledge will be useful, we can take 19:49 it home, and it can benefit ourselves, 19:51 our families, and our closest relatives 19:53 . At the end. of the lecture, Ustaz, 20:07 there will be a Q&A session. 20:10 If you ladies have anything you want to 20:12 ask our teacher, please, prepare your 20:14 questions. Questions related to the 20:16 theme are good, and questions outside 20:18 the theme are also allowed, God willing 20:20 , Ustaz. Yes. 20:20 God willing. 20:21 God willing, it is allowed. Questions 20:24 about life, the household, everything 20:25 —ask about how this husband is, that 20:27 husband is, this husband is; ask now, 20:29 now is the time so we can all learn 20:30 together. Alright, please, Ustaz. 20:34 Alright. In the name of Allah, the Most 20:35 Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise 20:39 is to Allah, much, good, and blessed 20:43 praise, as our Lord loves and is 20:46 pleased with. O Allah, send peace and 20:52 blessings upon Your servant and 20:55 messenger, our master and prophet 20:57 Muhammad, and upon his family and 21:00 companions. O Allah, grant us mercy 21:05 from Yourself, and teach us beneficial 21:08 knowledge, and benefit us with what You 21:10 have taught us and increase our 21:12 knowledge. After that, the congregation 21:18 , the attendees, gentlemen and ladies 21:20 who are blessed by Allah, peace be upon 21:21 you. and God's mercy and blessings. 21:28 war. 21:29 Praise be to Allah, this morning. We 21:34 can gather once again under the shade 21:36 of the Quran. As well as our Prophet 21:41 Muhammad, may Allah’s peace and 21:43 blessings be upon him and his family, 21:46 with his beautiful guidance that Allah 21:48 has made as an example for us all. 21:53 Before we begin, let us recite Suratul 21:55 Fatihah together. 21:59 Auzubillahiminasyaitanirrajim. 22:06 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. 22:11 Alhamdulillahirabbil alamin. 22:16 Arrahmanirrahim. Maliki yaumiddin. 22:25 Iyyaka na’budu wa iyyaka nasta’in. 22:31 Ihdinas sirathal mustaqim. 22:37 Shirathalladzina an’amta alaihim. 22:43 Ghairil maghdubi alaihim waladh--dhalin 22:50 . Those who believe, and whose hearts 22:59 find rest in the remembrance of Allah. 23:05 Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do 23:09 hearts find rest. Those who believe and 23:14 do righteous deeds. Sadaqallahul azhim. 23:30 And His noble Messenger has spoken, and 23:32 we are among those who bear witness to 23:34 that. To all the brothers and sisters 23:40 present here. As soon as a believer 23:45 leaves this world, Allah Subhanahu wa 23:51 ta'ala awaits them, calling them with a 23:56 warm and affectionate greeting. O 24:03 tranquil soul, return to your Lord, 24:09 well-pleased and pleasing to Him. O you 24:17 who possess a tranquil soul, return to 24:23 the embrace of your Lord. Return to 24:29 your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing to 24:32 Him. In a state of being pleased and 24:36 pleasing to Allah. Enter among My 24:39 servants and enter into My paradise. 24:42 Enter among my servants and enter into 24:46 my paradise. This is the soul that will 24:50 be welcomed by Allah. Why? Because 24:54 while they lived in this world, their 24:57 souls were tranquil and peaceful. They 25:02 were not tossed about by the various 25:05 trials of the world that leave many 25:08 people unsettled. They were also not 25:13 influenced by the darkness of this life 25:18 , because their souls were illuminated 25:20 by faith in Allah. Darkness for the 25:24 believer is merely a time for them to 25:27 rest. While the light is a field of 25:31 good deeds for them. Both are blessings 25:35 from Allah for them. They do not anchor 25:39 their lives to creatures, to wealth, to 25:44 status, or to any material object. In 25:49 whom do they place their trust? In 25:52 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, the Lord of 25:54 the worlds, in whose grasp is the 25:59 entire kingdom of heaven and earth; 26:02 there is no thing, small or large, 26:07 found on earth or in the heavens, but 26:10 that everything bows and submits to 26:13 Allah. Whatever Allah commands, that is 26:17 what will be done. Now, Allah commands 26:21 this universe to be friendly with His 26:25 servants who always hold fast to Him. 26:30 Is there anything that can harm them? 26:35 This servant’s heart is always 26:38 surrendered to Allah, glorifying Him, 26:41 praising and magnifying Him. Just as 26:44 the earth also, what? Also glorifies 26:47 and praises Allah. So they, along with 26:51 the universe, are friends, together 26:53 sanctifying and glorifying Allah. Who 26:58 could possibly harm a person like this? 27:03 Who would make them afraid? Who would 27:06 make them feel anxious? When their 27:11 foundation is Allah. Indeed, those who 27:14 say, "Our Lord is Allah," and remain 27:15 steadfast, there shall be no fear upon 27:20 them, nor shall they grieve. In Surah 27:24 Fussilat: "The angels descend upon them 27:26 , saying,' Fear not, nor grieve, but 27:28 receive the good tidings of Paradise 27:31 which you were promised. We are your 27:34 allies in the worldly life and in the 27:37 Hereafter, and you will have therein 27:40 whatever your souls desire, and you 27:42 will have therein whatever you request, 27:45 '" as a gift from a Forgiving, Merciful 27:50 One. If someone is asked, "Who is your 27:54 supporter? Who is your protector, who 27:57 has your back?" They might say, "I have 28:01 the President backing me. Don't you 28:06 dare mess with me. The man who backs me 28:10 is the Commander of the Armed Forces or 28:12 , let's say, the Chief of Police." They 28:16 would say, "Whenever I need anything, I 28:18 just have to call him." What else makes 28:22 people feel secure? They are protected 28:26 by conglomerates who can fulfill 28:29 whatever they want. There are others 28:35 who are considered to have great 28:37 influence. All of these are weak 28:42 creatures. Weak, not strong. Even if 28:48 they want something, Allah may not 28:50 permit it. Humans are extremely weak 28:55 before Allah. And do you know, we live 28:59 on this earth, living on a very, very 29:05 small planet located on the edge of the 29:11 universe. On the edge of the universe. 29:17 A planet orbiting one of the stars in 29:19 our galaxy, which contains billions of 29:22 stars. The sun is one of our stars, a 29:26 small planet following the sun. 29:32 Meanwhile, this observable universe, do 29:36 you know, ladies, the latest findings, 29:43 the span of this observable universe 29:46 discovered by humans is 93 billion 29:48 light-years wide. 93 billion 29:54 light-years is the distance to the edge 29:58 of the universe known to humans. Now, 30:03 let me give you an example. Is the moon 30:07 far from us? 30:11 Light, which travels at an estimated 30:15 300,000 km/second, reaches the moon in 30:18 just over a second. If you had a 30:24 vehicle traveling at the speed of light 30:27 , it would reach the sun in just over 8 30:30 minutes. Just imagine it. 300,000 km/s 30:37 multiplied by 60, how much is that? 30:42 That's just for a minute, multiply that 30:44 by an hour, then 60 times more. That's 30:48 only what? Only one light-minute. Now, 30:53 8 light-minutes. Imagine the distance, 30:58 it only takes 8-something minutes to 31:00 reach the sun. We are in a galaxy 31:08 called the Milky Way, which is quite 31:11 vast. Next to it is Andromeda, 31:18 estimated to have 1 trillion stars or 31:23 even more. The distance from us to 31:26 Andromeda is estimated at 2 million 31:28 light-years. Imagine, is it far? Now, 31:32 the diameter of this universe is 93 31:37 billion light-years. Just imagine, 31:41 isn't it far? We on earth, in this 31:46 universe, are nothing, let alone us 31:47 individually. Our existence, our glory, 31:51 is because we are addressed by Allah, 31:54 created by Allah, touched by Allah, 31:56 sent His messengers, and revealed His 31:58 books. Then Allah tests us in this life 32:03 with pleasure, with abundance, with 32:06 ease. Sometimes, Allah tests us with 32:10 hardship, with difficulty, and with 32:13 various kinds of trials. Besides health 32:17 , Allah also tests us with sickness. 32:20 Health is a test, wealth is a test. We 32:26 test you with good and evil. We test 32:28 you with various trials that take the 32:31 form of goodness, wealth, health, 32:34 prosperity, and ease. We also test you 32:37 with hardship. Allah wants to see when 32:41 given ease, are you grateful or not? 32:45 When someone doesn't have money, they 32:47 intend to do charity, give alms, and go 32:49 on Hajj. Once they have money, they go 32:52 to Hawaii, for example, or go to Bali. 32:55 Those who intended to give alms but 32:57 became stingy have failed the test. 33:02 Others are tested with illness, their 33:05 wealth depletes, jobs are scarce, yet 33:08 they remain calm. He says, "Innalillahi 33:13 wa inna ilaihi roji'un." To whom do we 33:17 belong? To Allah. You belong to Allah. 33:21 Your children belong to Allah. Isn't 33:23 that right? Your wealth belongs to 33:25 Allah. We are not owners, but trustees 33:27 acting as His stewards. Wa inna ilaihi 33:31 roji'un. And we won't stay here forever 33:33 . We are currently on a journey back to 33:37 Allah. So don't be too obsessed, too 33:41 greedy, or too busy collecting worldly 33:44 ornaments that we will leave behind. 33:48 Where are we actually going? We are 33:50 traveling to return to Allah. So, what 33:53 will you bring with you? Will you bring 33:58 billions in deposits? Is it useful? 34:01 Gold? Let's say 70 kilos of gold. Does 34:09 it matter? It means absolutely nothing. 34:14 Even if you have money in dollars, 34:16 rupiah, gold, a handsome husband, or 34:18 wonderful children. When you pass away, 34:22 will any of them go with you? Would 34:26 they? They cry out of sadness when 34:29 their parents pass away. But if asked 34:33 to go with them, would they? They 34:35 wouldn't want to. Whom are they crying 34:37 for? For their mother or for themselves 34:38 ? Who are they weeping for? When they 34:43 cry because their mother, father, or 34:45 loved one has died, are they crying for 34:47 them or for themselves? For themselves. 34:52 Isn't that true? They are sad because 34:54 they have been left behind. All this 34:55 time, their mother helped them, their 34:56 father helped them. Once left behind, 34:58 they feel sorrow. It's not that they 35:00 are mourning the person, they are 35:01 mourning their own loss. In this world, 35:03 they still have many people to console 35:05 them. When their mother passes away, 35:07 guests come and say, "May you have 35:09 patience, may Allah forgive her, may 35:11 she be blessed by Allah." Isn't that 35:14 right? Then who will visit us in the 35:16 grave? When we die, who will console us 35:19 ? Children won't go, and your husband? 35:25 Once you pass away, he'll be ready to 35:27 remarry. Isn't that right? Well, if we 35:32 are speaking frankly. The same goes for 35:38 everything we tired ourselves to 35:39 collect; it will not accompany us. But 35:41 what is faithful and never leaves you, 35:43 dear brothers and sisters, is the good 35:45 deeds we have done. Gratitude and 35:48 patience in facing these trials are 35:50 what make us content in this world and, 35:52 in the hereafter, what? Content. 35:57 Therefore, the souls of the faithful 36:00 are not controlled by greed, avarice, 36:03 envy, hatred, or hostility; their souls 36:06 are too precious to be filled with such 36:08 things. They are filled with love for 36:12 Allah, love in the path of Allah, and 36:14 hope for Allah's mercy, so even if they 36:16 are lowly, no one can enslave them. Why 36:19 ? Because their Lord is Allah. They 36:22 depend on Allah, not on officials or 36:26 conglomerates. So when people brag 36:30 about their supporters, what do they 36:31 say? "Rabbunallah," our Lord, our 36:35 protector, is Allah. Innalladzina qalu 36:40 rabbunallah tummaqamu fala khaufun 36:43 alaihim wa hum yahzanun. Those who say, 36:47 "Our Lord is Allah," proudly say, "You 36:50 may boast of your protectors, but our 36:52 protector, our hope, and our support is 36:55 Allah." I want to ask, is God certain? 37:01 What about mortal beings? Take the 37:05 current ruler, promising you can stay 37:07 in power forever. Yesterday people 37:11 relied on Mr. Jokowi, now Jokowi is 37:13 stepping down. Jokowi once lured people 37:17 to give him support. Now he no longer 37:20 needs that support. Isn't that right? 37:23 Some shifted to Prabowo, kissing 37:24 Prabowo's hand. Soon Prabowo will go 37:27 too, will things change again? But as 37:29 for God, God created the start of the 37:33 universe, He keeps and protects it all. 37:36 People of the past were also creations 37:38 of God in power. The people now and 37:40 those to come will also be held to 37:43 account by Him. Who is that? The Master 37:46 of the Day of Judgment. And before we 37:49 say Master of the Day of Judgment, we 37:51 believers start everything by 37:53 connecting to God. In the name of God, 37:55 the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 37:58 Others are not connected to God. We 38:01 strive, but accompanied by the grace of 38:03 God who is Most Gracious and Most 38:04 Merciful. Therefore, we follow it up by 38:07 being grateful. All praise is due to 38:09 God, Lord of the worlds. Aren't you 38:11 proud, ma'am, to be acknowledged by God 38:13 as His servant? Honored by God as a 38:16 faithful servant, cared for, and having 38:19 your prayers answered. I want to ask, 38:22 has God ever abandoned us? 38:25 If we are happy, or have enough, we 38:30 forget God, but when desperate, "O God, 38:33 Your servant is before You asking for 38:36 Your help." Has God ever said, where 38:38 have you been all this time? Happy, and 38:41 you forget. Now you come, where have 38:43 you been all this time, sir? Ma'am, 38:46 whenever you knock on God's door, Day 38:47 or night, is it ever closed? Isn't that 38:50 right? Therefore, God Subhanahu wa 38:54 ta'ala certainly does not doubt His 38:57 promise. It is surely kept, God is with 39:00 His servants who always remember Him. 39:04 Therefore, in a Hadith Qudsi, the 39:06 Prophet narrates from God, "I am as My 39:09 servant thinks of Me." I depend on what 39:13 My servant thinks of Me. If the servant 39:17 is certain of Him, God will surely 39:19 accompany them in the world at all 39:21 times. But if they doubt, according to 39:26 their doubt, God leaves them to 39:27 themselves. And I am with him when he 39:31 remembers Me. And I am always with him 39:35 when he remembers Me. I wonder, if you 39:40 want to remember God, do you need to 39:42 spend any money? Is it necessary? Do 39:45 you need to pay taxes? If you use 39:48 electricity and pay late, it gets cut 39:50 off. If you use water and pay late, it 39:54 gets cut off. Isn't that right? But has 39:58 God ever taken from us? He is always 40:02 giving. He has never abandoned us. If 40:06 your heart remembers God, you won't be 40:08 afraid to face this life. What makes us 40:11 afraid is when we forget God. God says, 40:14 "And do not be like those who forgot 40:16 God, so He made them forget themselves. 40:18 " Do not be among those who forget God. 40:21 Once they forget God, what happens? 40:23 They even forget themselves. Once they 40:26 forget themselves, they look for the 40:28 glasses on their own head. Looking for 40:32 the bag in their hand, looking back and 40:33 forth at their own hand. They search 40:36 for their bag, like people looking for 40:37 the watch that's on their wrist. Just 40:38 imagine. Because of what? Forgetting 40:41 themselves. See, when people lose 40:43 themselves, they forget the Allah who 40:45 is with them. Instead of seeking refuge 40:49 in Allah, they seek refuge in weak 40:51 creatures, in idols of flesh and blood. 40:55 Try raising your hands. Because of that 40:58 , what are we really? We must be very, 41:01 very grateful. Why? Allah sends us a 41:05 way to connect with Him at any time. 41:08 What is it? Prayer. Isn't that right? 41:14 We are invited to perform Salah five 41:18 times a day by Allah. Besides that 41:22 invitation five times a day, Allah 41:24 Subhanahu wa Ta'ala also does what? He 41:26 opens the door for anyone who wants to 41:28 connect with Him. Day or night, Allah 41:31 welcomes you. But we aren't grateful 41:34 for this connection with Allah. We take 41:35 pride in our connections with people. 41:37 We feel proud just being close to an 41:38 official or even a sub-district head. 41:40 We feel an extraordinary sense of pride 41:42 . Someone once told me, "Yesterday I 41:45 met the mayor; my hand was right next 41:47 to his, my knee touching his." He was 41:49 incredibly proud of that. He didn't 41:51 realize the mayor was busy worrying 41:54 about himself. Let alone thinking about 41:57 him. He was anxious, worrying about 41:58 what would happen if he were removed 42:00 from office. Isn't that right, ladies 42:03 and gentlemen? If you look at 42:05 government officials, do they worry 42:07 about the people, or are they afraid of 42:10 losing their position? There was a 42:15 member of the local council, I won't 42:17 mention his name, someone from an 42:19 Islamic party. Every month he received 42:23 what? He received a salary that was 42:26 enough for his life and his children. 42:29 When he ran again and wasn't re-elected 42:32 , he immediately started vomiting, 42:35 feeling restless and hopeless. Why? 42:39 Because he pinned his life on the 42:41 salary he received. Once we rely on 42:46 something other than Allah, Allah will 42:49 cause us to fall into disgrace. That is 42:54 why many officials try to maintain the 42:57 favor of their superiors so they aren't 43:00 replaced. They don't care if it's right 43:03 or wrong. The important thing is to 43:06 stay in office. Then they try to play 43:10 games with Allah. They embezzle 43:12 billions, then give away a few hundred 43:13 million. Two hundred million times ten 43:17 is how much? Two billion. He says, "I 43:19 still have a billion in profit." He 43:21 embezzles a billion, then gives away a 43:23 few hundred million. One good deed is 43:25 rewarded ten times over, so he thinks 43:27 he’s still making a profit. Meaning, 43:31 he tries to outsmart Allah. Even though 43:33 what is accepted is the charity of the 43:35 righteous. Even if it's just a thousand 43:37 rupiah, if it comes from piety, that is 43:39 what Allah accepts. So if we realize, 43:42 ladies and gentlemen, that those who 43:45 seek refuge in Allah and hold fast to 43:48 Him will fear nothing and will not be 43:50 sad over any loss, because nothing is 43:53 truly lost. If their child passes away, 43:55 they return to Allah. The same goes for 43:59 their spouse and their wealth. They 44:02 return to Allah after enduring trials 44:03 of happiness and hardship. Through 44:06 gratitude and patience, Allah elevates 44:08 them. I want to ask you all. Between 44:12 the Prophet's trials and ours, whose 44:15 were greater? The Prophet never had 44:20 time to just sit back, laugh, and chat 44:21 while eating cassava. That never 44:23 happened. Is that right? His whole life 44:26 was a struggle to lead humanity out of 44:28 darkness with the guidance of Allah. I 44:31 mean, throughout our lives, what do we 44:32 do? We have time to eat fried bananas, 44:35 cassava, and chat about this and that. 44:37 Isn't that right? There are social 44:39 gatherings, watching soccer, and don't 44:41 forget the gadgets. Isn't that right? 44:45 And yet, we still complain. We still 44:48 complain, even though God provides for 44:50 our children's school and other needs. 44:53 And what do we end up asking for? There 44:56 are things we have that we just don't 44:57 appreciate. Take someone who starts 45:00 working; they thank God when they get a 45:02 job. They are incredibly happy, as they 45:04 prayed for that job. After getting the 45:08 job, they take the bus every day. They 45:12 say, "God, if You just bless me with a 45:14 motorbike that runs, I'll be grateful, 45:17 because the bus is often late." God 45:21 gives them a good bike, riding it while 45:24 using a handkerchief over their face 45:27 back in the day since there were no 45:30 masks. For a week or two, they are 45:34 proud of the bike; for a month, they 45:36 are happy. Not long after, they say, " 45:39 God, if You just grant me a car, even a 45:41 simple one, so I don't get hit by smoke 45:43 or anything else.""I will be grateful 45:46 to You." They are given an even better 45:48 car. Their friends and environment 45:52 start to change. First, they walked, 45:55 then took the bus, rode a bike, then 45:57 upgraded to a car. The surroundings are 45:59 different, aren't they? They no longer 46:01 hang out with the same people, but with 46:03 those in higher circles. Eventually, 46:06 after having a car, they say, "God, 46:07 other people have cars with air 46:08 conditioning.""Nice cars that don't 46:12 constantly break down.""My car keeps 46:14 breaking down.""If You grant me a 46:16 reliable car that is comfortable for my 46:18 family, I will be very grateful to You. 46:20 " And God Almighty grants it. But what 46:24 happens? Humans are still what? 46:27 Unsatisfied and ungrateful. That is why 46:30 people in the past often didn't want 46:34 luxury, not because they couldn't 46:35 afford it. They had abundant wealth. 46:38 But what was it? They didn't want to 46:41 follow their desires, so they could 46:42 stay grateful to God. Because when 46:47 people move up to a higher lifestyle, 46:49 they look down on others. Sometimes, 46:51 without gratitude, they become arrogant 46:53 . Then they look at those above them 46:55 with envy and jealousy. There was a 46:58 conglomerate businessman from America 47:02 named Warren. His wealth at that time 47:08 was estimated at 65 billion dollars. He 47:12 had a wife and children. Do you know, 47:14 ladies and gentlemen? This husband and 47:19 wife, from the time they started 47:21 working, the wife’s bag never changed 47:24 . It wasn't a luxury bag. Many people 47:30 buy bags for millions, but they only 47:32 have 10,000 inside. If asked for money 47:34 by the needy, it's hard for them. Many 47:37 have luxury bags and clothes, but have 47:39 no substance inside. Which one would 47:41 you rather see? A plastic bag with 47:42 plenty of substance. Even the vehicles 47:50 they bought were not excessive. He 47:53 doesn't have a dedicated studio or gym 47:57 at all. He interacts with the community 47:59 . His wealth is 65 billion dollars. 48:04 Three-quarters of it is donated for 48:08 humanity. So, three-quarters of his 48:12 wealth is spent for humanitarian causes 48:15 . He works to grow the remaining 48:19 quarter rapidly. One day a journalist 48:23 asked, "Are you leaving that quarter to 48:25 your children?" He replied, "No." My 48:28 children don't need much. My children 48:31 don't need that much. His wealth 48:34 continues to grow back. He spends in 48:36 the way of Allah. Husband and wife, 48:39 while others live in the high class. He 48:42 lives simply, mingles with society, and 48:44 enjoys the blessings of Allah. 48:47 Meanwhile, we are fond of luxurious 48:50 living. Especially when a preacher 48:54 becomes famous, gets many invitations, 48:56 raises their fee, and changes their 48:58 lifestyle to luxury cars. Isn't that 49:02 right? The one who used to greet 49:04 villagers, now rolls up the window and 49:07 ignores them. Eventually, because this 49:12 person is used to pampering their 49:14 desires, they forget Allah and their 49:17 role. So, ladies and gentlemen, the 49:21 reason we fear an uncertain life is 49:24 because we leave the certain Allah and 49:27 replace Him with an uncertain world. Do 49:30 you feel anxious? Surely. Now, try to 49:35 reflect on the verse in Surah Fussilat, 49:37 right beside Surah Al-Ahqaf earlier. 49:41 Indeed, those who say "Our Lord is 49:43 Allah" and stand firm. Indeed, those 49:47 who declare among the people, "Our Lord 49:50 is Allah, our Protector, our Guardian, 49:54 our Provider is Allah." Not just by 49:59 mouth, but proven through their deeds. 50:03 The angels descend upon them. Angels 50:06 descend in succession. Allah uses the 50:09 term "tatanazzalu," describing the 50:11 angels descending continuously, one 50:13 after another. They comfort them, "Do 50:17 not fear and do not grieve." You do not 50:19 need to be afraid or sad. Although we 50:24 cannot see the angels, those who hold 50:26 onto Allah will hear their whispers in 50:29 their hearts. "Do not fear and do not 50:31 grieve." When others are shaken, they 50:34 remain in a state of peace. "And 50:38 receive the glad tidings of Paradise 50:40 which you were promised." Before 50:42 passing away, during the throes of 50:44 death, while others suffer, they are in 50:47 a state of comfort and calm. Allah even 50:50 shows them the Paradise that He will 50:52 grant them. Do you think they feel pain 50:55 ? Perhaps you have often heard reports 50:58 that Prophet Muhammad experienced 50:59 extraordinary pain when he passed away, 51:01 right? That is not from the Quran or 51:05 authentic Sunnah, but from Israeli 51:07 narratives. Would a believer, no matter 51:13 how righteous, be on the same level as 51:15 the Prophet? I once witnessed someone 51:21 pass away beside me in a state of peace 51:24 and calm. Right after reciting verses 51:28 of Allah, they immediately passed away. 51:32 When checked, there was nothing left at 51:34 all. Even when taken to the doctor, the 51:39 doctor confirmed they had passed away. 51:42 Yet, this person was just someone who 51:44 loved to help, donate, build mosques, 51:46 and build schools. Not someone we would 51:50 consider excessive. But when he passed 51:53 away peacefully right before my eyes, I 51:57 realized how incredibly close the 51:59 distance between life and death is. 52:02 Then there was a person in the Cempaka 52:05 Putih area. It happened quite a while 52:09 ago, a trader who lived honestly, 52:12 working cleanly to provide for his 52:14 family. When he was about to pass away, 52:17 he gathered his family. Then he told 52:20 his children, "Father has reached his 52:23 end here." He gave advice to his 52:27 children and his family. After he said, 52:31 "Father has reached his end here." He 52:34 spoke, and upon reaching that point, he 52:36 offered greetings, recited' la ilaha 52:38 illallah, 'and passed away without any 52:40 pain at all. How is it possible that a 52:47 prophet, who is more noble than most, 52:50 would suffer such pain leaving this 52:52 world after a life of struggle? It's 52:55 impossible, right? Even for those who 53:00 are not prophets, "wa absyiru bil 53:01 jannatillati kuntum tuadun." Why do 53:04 Catholics, when someone is passing away 53:07 , hold hands and pray, bringing joyful 53:10 news, "Jesus will come to fetch you," 53:14 and so on. Yet we Muslims are often 53:16 filled with fear. There is a narration, 53:19 man ahabba liqa Allah ahabballahu 53:21 liqaah. If a person longs to meet Allah 53:23 , Allah also longs to meet them. Waman 53:28 kariha liqa Allah kariha liqaah. If a 53:31 person dislikes meeting Allah, Allah 53:33 also dislikes meeting them. In Surah 53:37 al-Hadid, yaumal mukminina wal mukminat 53:41 yas'au nuruhum [jannatun tajri min 53:49 tahtiha al-anharu khalidina fiha 53:51 dhalika huwal-fawzul-' azim.] When you 53:55 encounter the angels with light 54:00 illuminating you from before you and 54:01 from your right. An angel will say, " 54:04 Bushrakumul-yaum.""Good news for you 54:07 today." Gardens beneath which rivers 54:12 flow, abiding therein forever, that is 54:14 the supreme success. So, ladies and 54:19 gentlemen, never listen to the devil's 54:22 whispers that scare us as we navigate 54:26 life or as we approach death. Because 54:32 many righteous people pass away with 54:35 peaceful hearts, welcomed by Allah, "ya 54:37 ayyatuhan nafsul mutmainnah, irji'i ila 54:40 rabbiki radhiyatan mardhiyyah." So, 54:45 ladies and gentlemen, do not hang your 54:48 lives on uncertain beings. Because they 54:52 are here now, but could be gone 54:53 tomorrow. Isn't that right? Today they 54:57 are strong, tomorrow they could be weak 54:58 . Today they are rich, tomorrow they 55:00 could be poor. But as for Allah, " 55:02 dhalika bi'annallaha huwal-haqqul-mubin 55:05 ." Allah is the Truth. Anytime, 55:08 anywhere, on land or at sea. If we are 55:13 with Allah, we will never lack anything 55:15 . "Innama amruhu idhara arada syai'an 55:19 an yaqula lahu kun fayakun." Let me ask 55:24 you, does He differentiate between 55:25 people? "Ah, this person from Sawangan 55:29 can wait until later.""This person from 55:33 Jelebut, this person from Jakarta."" 55:35 This one is from the nobility." Does He 55:37 differentiate? Before Allah, in the 55:41 eyes of Allah, all His servants are the 55:43 same. No one is special except for 55:47 those who believe and are pious. "Inna 55:49 akramakum 'indallahi atqakum." So let 55:53 us not consider the small, the poor, or 55:54 the destitute as low in the eyes of 55:56 Allah. We, as those from noble or 55:59 wealthy families, consider ourselves 56:01 honorable people. Yet, this is 56:03 precisely what brings us down. So, 56:06 there is nothing more noble. Yes, in 56:09 the eyes of Allah, no one is above 56:11 another because of lineage, wealth, or 56:13 status, except for faith and piety. If 56:15 it is faith and piety, what can 56:17 everyone do? Attain it. You don't have 56:20 to go to Hong Kong, America, or the 56:23 mall. Everyone can have faith and be 56:25 pious. Isn't that right, ladies? So, do 56:28 not waste the opportunity Allah has 56:30 given us. Everyone has the same 56:33 opportunity to approach, to draw near 56:35 to Allah. Ladies, do not feel inferior. 56:39 Don't say that it's easy for ustads or 56:41 children of scholars because their 56:42 prayers are answered. What if I am just 56:44 an ordinary person? Who says? Sometimes 56:46 the prayers of commoners are answered 56:48 more than ours. Scholars just talk but 56:51 do not practice it. You ladies listen 56:53 and practice, so it is you whose 56:54 prayers are accepted. So never abandon 56:59 what is certain, only to replace it 57:02 with what is uncertain. This is a path 57:05 leading to sadness, anxiety, and 57:07 restlessness. But if we are with Allah, 57:12 "He is with you wherever you are." Now, 57:16 I will conclude before the Q&A with the 57:19 beginning of Surah Al-Hadid. The 57:24 beginning of a few verses from Surah 57:26 Al-Hadid, yes. A'udhu billahi 57:30 minash-shaytanir-rajim. 57:35 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Whatever is 57:42 in the heavens and earth exalts Allah, 57:45 and He is the Exalted in Might, the 57:48 Wise. His is the dominion of the 57:54 heavens and earth; He gives life and 57:56 causes death. And He is over all things 58:01 competent. He is the First and the Last 58:07 , the Manifest and the Hidden, and He 58:10 is, of all things, Knowing. It is He 58:17 who created the heavens and the earth 58:20 in truth; it is He who created the 58:23 heavens and the earth in truth. What 58:29 else? What else, ladies? It is He who 58:36 created the heavens and the earth in 58:39 truth. Is there "Alim" at the beginning 58:46 ? Huh? Yes. It is He who created the 58:55 heavens and the earth. In six days, 59:04 then He ascended above the Throne. He 59:10 knows what penetrates into the earth 59:12 and what emerges from it and what 59:15 descends from the heaven and what 59:18 ascends therein. And He is with you 59:23 wherever you are. And Allah, of what 59:26 you do, to Him will be returned all 59:36 matters. He causes the night to enter 59:41 the day and causes the day to enter the 59:43 night. And He is All-Knowing. of that 59:49 within the breasts. Sadaqallahul-azim. 59:55 If possible, ladies and gentlemen, 59:56 recite these verses often at home. Make 59:59 them a part of your dhikr and wird, 1:00:00 alongside Ayat al-Kursi, the end of 1:00:02 Surah Al-Baqarah, and the end of Surah 1:00:04 Al-Hashr, "He is Allah, other than whom 1:00:06 there is no deity." Try to contemplate 1:00:09 them. "Whatever is in the heavens and 1:00:13 earth exalts Allah." Everything in the 1:00:17 heavens, on earth, and what is between 1:00:21 them, all glorify, sanctify, and exalt 1:00:24 Allah. And they all testify that Allah 1:00:29 is the only one who is All-Mighty and 1:00:33 All-Wise. Meaning, everything submits 1:00:37 to sanctifying Allah Subhanahu wa 1:00:39 Ta'ala. "His is the dominion of the 1:00:42 heavens and the earth." Belonging only 1:00:44 to Him—He is the one who possesses 1:00:47 the kingdom of the heavens and the 1:00:49 earth. "He gives life and causes death. 1:00:51 " He is also the one who gives life and 1:00:53 takes it away. "And He is over all 1:00:57 things competent." And He has power 1:01:00 over everything. What does that mean? 1:01:04 Everything is in the grasp of Allah— 1:01:08 the one who gives life, who causes 1:01:10 death, who regulates, and He has power 1:01:12 over everything. When you hear this, 1:01:16 doesn't your heart feel secure knowing 1:01:18 that you are with Allah? Then Allah 1:01:22 also explains, He is the First and the 1:01:24 Last. He is the First. Nothing preceded 1:01:30 Him, but He is the one who initiates 1:01:32 everything. And the Last, all final 1:01:36 decisions are ultimately in Allah's 1:01:39 hands. La syarikalah, there is no 1:01:41 partner unto Him. There is nothing 1:01:44 after Allah either. Meaning from 1:01:46 beginning to end, and everything along 1:01:48 the way, is in Allah's control. He is 1:01:52 the First and the Last, the Manifest 1:01:54 and the Hidden. And Allah's existence 1:01:57 is the most clear and evident existence 1:02:00 of all. Because if it weren't for Allah 1:02:02 , we would not exist. Our hearts could 1:02:05 not possibly beat. Our lungs could not 1:02:07 possibly expand and contract. It is not 1:02:10 we who control them. But Allah, even 1:02:12 though our eyes cannot see Him, His 1:02:14 existence is the most obvious. The 1:02:18 Hidden, at the same time. He cannot be 1:02:21 reached by our physical senses. Even 1:02:23 though everything is under His control. 1:02:26 Oh, you work to earn a living, you 1:02:28 receive a salary, at a glance it seems 1:02:31 like our own effort, yet it all comes 1:02:33 from Allah. People farm to produce rice 1:02:38 and fruits, we might say we work hard 1:02:40 for it, but everything is from Allah. 1:02:44 Farmers only plant, maintain, and water 1:02:45 , but who is it that makes them grow? 1:02:48 The one who gives the knowledge is also 1:02:50 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So He is the 1:02:52 First and the Last, the Manifest. And 1:02:57 He is All-Knowing of all things. And He 1:02:59 knows everything about our needs, even 1:03:02 the whispers of our hearts. Then next, 1:03:07 He is the One who created the heavens 1:03:09 and the earth in six days. He who 1:03:14 created the heavens and the earth in 1:03:16 only six periods. Days here do not mean 1:03:21 our brief worldly days. Because a day 1:03:25 in the sight of Allah is compared to 1:03:26 one to a thousand. But it means it was 1:03:30 created by Allah in stages over 6 1:03:32 periods so that we can learn. Is Allah 1:03:36 not capable of creating us all at once 1:03:39 with "Be, and it is"? Could He? But if 1:03:42 Allah created us all at once, we could 1:03:44 not learn. For example, if you were 1:03:48 brought a meal or bread was provided, 1:03:52 could you copy how it was made? But if 1:03:57 the baker said, "I will teach you how 1:03:59 to bake bread." Likewise, humans are 1:04:02 created in stages starting from sperm 1:04:05 fertilizing an ovum, forming a zygote, 1:04:08 then developing into what? A clot, a 1:04:10 lump of flesh, until becoming a perfect 1:04:12 human, so that we may contemplate and 1:04:14 think. Even though Allah had the power 1:04:16 to create Adam all at once without that 1:04:18 process. He created Prophet Isa without 1:04:21 a father. Right? So this gradual 1:04:25 process is for us to learn how to farm; 1:04:27 Allah could have grown the rice all at 1:04:30 once, but He teaches us in stages so 1:04:32 that we can learn. He who created the 1:04:38 heavens and the earth in six periods. 1:04:42 Then. In six periods, then He 1:04:46 established Himself above the Throne. 1:04:49 Then Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala rules 1:04:51 from the Throne of His greatness and 1:04:53 majesty. It means Allah did not just 1:04:56 leave the universe as it is. But He 1:04:59 governs it. He observes His kingdom, 1:05:02 observes us, whether we are grateful or 1:05:04 disbelieving, all is known by Allah. 1:05:07 Allah's decisions are direct. Right? We 1:05:12 connect with Allah without any 1:05:14 intermediary. Do you need an 1:05:16 intermediary? If you use an 1:05:17 intermediary, you have to pay extra. 1:05:19 Wait. We can connect with Allah anytime 1:05:23 , anywhere; we can connect directly to 1:05:26 Allah. Are you happy, ladies? Is Allah 1:05:29 powerful enough to grant all of your 1:05:31 prayers? He is powerful. You don’t 1:05:33 need to use angels. Allah is able to 1:05:35 grant whatever you ask for. What else 1:05:38 is there to doubt? Just think, we can 1:05:40 connect directly and get answers 1:05:42 straight from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 1:05:45 . What else is there for us to worry 1:05:48 about in this life? Hualladzi khalaqos 1:05:54 samawati wal ard fi sittyamin tummawa. 1:05:58 He rules from the throne of majesty. 1:06:00 Yalamu ma yaliju fil ardhi. Allah knows 1:06:02 everything that enters the earth. W 1:06:05 yakhruju minha, and what comes out of 1:06:06 the earth. Wanzilu minasama wuju fiha. 1:06:11 And whatever descends from the sky or 1:06:13 ascends to the sky, all is known by 1:06:14 Allah. Then for our comfort, wahua 1:06:18 maakum ainama kuntum. And He is with 1:06:21 you wherever you may be. Not just with 1:06:26 scholars or religious leaders, but with 1:06:28 all of you wherever you are. Because 1:06:31 Allah is not bound by place. We as 1:06:34 creatures are bound, but Allah is not. 1:06:36 He is with those in America, with those 1:06:38 here, with those in Australia, and with 1:06:40 those in the heavens and on earth. 1:06:42 Because everything belongs to Allah. 1:06:44 Allah does not reside within them. 1:06:47 Wahua maakum ainama kuntum wallahu bima 1:06:50 tammaluna basir. Allah is All-Seeing of 1:06:53 everything you do. Allah does not 1:06:56 delegate to angels as His 1:06:57 representatives. Angels only record, 1:07:00 but everything is under Allah's 1:07:02 supervision. Ladies, do not ever think 1:07:04 that Allah has abandoned you. No. In 1:07:07 your hardships, your sorrows, your 1:07:10 difficulties, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala 1:07:12 sees it all. It depends on who you ask. 1:07:16 Ask Allah, or ask others besides Him. 1:07:19 If we ask Allah, are we degraded? 1:07:22 It’s allowed, right? How Allah sends 1:07:24 it to you is entirely up to Him. The 1:07:27 point is, don't ask of creatures, ask 1:07:29 of Allah. Allah is All-Seeing of what 1:07:33 you do. Yurijul laila fin nahar waijun 1:07:37 nahar fin lail. It is also Allah who 1:07:40 turns night into day, and day into 1:07:42 night. And He knows every whisper of 1:07:45 our hearts. Are you not convinced? 1:07:47 Ladies, I want to illustrate how 1:07:50 quickly Allah answers prayers. I tell 1:07:53 this story often because I didn't hear 1:07:55 it from someone else. I experienced it 1:07:57 myself. I happened to be renting in the 1:08:02 Celitan area, far away by the river. 1:08:05 Even now, it floods constantly there; 1:08:07 in front of my house was a graveyard, 1:08:09 that’s where I rented. We once prayed 1:08:14 , "O Allah, if we could just have our 1:08:17 own home, even if it's small, so we 1:08:19 don't have to rent, we would be 1:08:22 incredibly grateful." It turned out 1:08:25 Allah granted that prayer. The 1:08:27 following year, someone offered to sell 1:08:29 me some land. When would I pay for it? 1:08:32 Allah enabled me to build at that time 1:08:34 by His grace. Within 2 or 3 months, I 1:08:36 had a house and wasn't renting anymore. 1:08:40 If Allah grants it, the renting is over 1:08:41 . Where does provision come from? 1:08:44 Everything is by the grace of Allah 1:08:46 Ta'ala. Well, while sitting in front of 1:08:50 my house with friends after coming from 1:08:54 the mosque, a man came up to me, 1:08:56 limping, he was quite old and a Quran 1:08:59 teacher. He said to me, "Ustadz, I need 1:09:05 money to enroll my child in school. I 1:09:09 have no money." Can you help me, Ustadz 1:09:12 ? I told him, "My situation is no 1:09:16 better than yours. I am in a condition 1:09:19 where I cannot help you." But there is 1:09:22 someone who can help you. Who? Allah. 1:09:27 Let's pray together. I wanted him to 1:09:31 truly feel that Allah is helping him 1:09:32 directly. We prayed together with 1:09:35 humility. He prayed along too, and then 1:09:37 we finished. We had just sat down for a 1:09:39 moment after praying. Not long after, 1:09:41 two people came into my house. I won't 1:09:45 mention their names. They greeted me. 1:09:48 Then they said, "Ustadz, here is some 1:09:50 money entrusted to be used in the way 1:09:53 of Allah." They gave it to me, and I 1:09:56 congratulated them. They left. I said, 1:09:58 "Try opening it." Once opened, the 1:10:01 amount was exactly what he needed. The 1:10:06 amount was exactly the same as what he 1:10:08 needed. Doesn't Allah answer prayers 1:10:11 quickly? Do you need to borrow from a 1:10:14 bank and pay interest every month? You 1:10:17 don't need to, right? And this man's 1:10:20 story has a unique side. Before he was 1:10:23 like this, he had a job, his Quran 1:10:26 recitation was good. If someone passed 1:10:30 away, he would form a team to recite at 1:10:32 the grave. Ten million, fifteen million 1:10:37 for a week, depending on what the 1:10:39 family could afford. He encouraged that 1:10:42 among the villagers. "Don't let your 1:10:45 family members die like pigs without 1:10:47 prayers." This was a project he was 1:10:53 running. And generally, in my lectures 1:10:55 at the mosque where he was, I happened 1:10:58 to give warnings. Subhanallah. After a 1:11:01 long time, once when I was leading 1:11:03 prayers, he tapped me from behind. " 1:11:06 Don't make it too long." Meaning at 1:11:09 that time, I had just returned from 1:11:11 Egypt. I just laughed; then one day, 1:11:17 maybe after several months, he came to 1:11:20 my house and told me about a dream of 1:11:24 drinking blood and pus. He was feeling 1:11:32 extremely restless. I said, "Ustadz, 1:11:36 Allah has gifted you with the Quran, 1:11:39 Alhamdulillah. You are a person honored 1:11:42 by Allah, but your way of life is wrong 1:11:44 . You are chasing provision, but in the 1:11:48 wrong way. People who cannot afford it, 1:11:52 who are grieving for their lost family 1:11:54 members, you persuade them to spend 1:11:56 money for recitations at graves for a 1:11:59 week or two at a high cost. You scare 1:12:03 them, saying they won't be forgiven if 1:12:05 they don't. This is what causes you to 1:12:09 eat the blood and pus of others. 1:12:13 Ultimately, what they do, those deeds 1:12:15 turn into blood and pus. Their sins 1:12:18 will eventually be transferred to you." 1:12:22 He said, "But what about my situation?" 1:12:25 He had no other income. I said this, " 1:12:28 You stop and repent from your actions. 1:12:31 If you want to pray for someone who has 1:12:33 passed away, then pray." But don't do 1:12:35 it this way. Setting a price of 1:12:37 millions, 20 million. Some even reach 1:12:40 40 to 50 million a month. If your 1:12:44 prayers are paid for like this, what is 1:12:47 the result? Pray with sincerity. Like 1:12:50 when I was giving a lecture, a woman 1:12:52 came bringing an envelope with maybe 1:12:54 50,000 or so. "Ustaz, please recite 1:12:57 Al-Fatihah for my parents." These are 1:13:00 bad habits. Why must it be paid for? 1:13:05 Just pray. Isn't that right? Pity the 1:13:08 poor people who don't have money. So, 1:13:10 traditions like this are not good. For 1:13:13 funeral prayers, everyone is also given 1:13:14 money. He should pray for the deceased 1:13:18 now, and tomorrow he will be prayed for 1:13:20 by people who are sincere. We are also 1:13:23 going to die, right? I told him, "You 1:13:26 leave your job, okay. From now on, you 1:13:31 teach at the mosque, wait for people 1:13:34 who want to learn. Don't accept 1:13:36 anything from them. We will find funds 1:13:38 for you. God willing, every month you 1:13:41 will receive it without difficulty, Sir 1:13:42 . Yes, God enabled him to do it. From 1:13:46 that moment, he taught at the mosque; 1:13:48 children and adults who wanted to learn 1:13:50 were taught without asking for anything 1:13:51 . God provided. Alhamdulillah, many 1:13:55 donors provided financial assistance 1:13:57 for his salary. Because of this, his 1:14:01 friends, including his relatives who 1:14:03 used to recite for the deceased, all 1:14:05 left him. But his heart was at peace. 1:14:10 Not even a year passed before God's 1:14:13 call came to take him. His face was 1:14:16 also radiant. The light of those who 1:14:19 have repented. So we don't want 1:14:20 everything in religion to be monetized 1:14:22 or commercialized. Earning money this 1:14:26 way makes our sincerity to God decrease 1:14:28 . But if there are Ustaz or Ustadzah 1:14:32 teaching without asking for anything, 1:14:34 if you want to give them a gift, don't 1:14:35 link it to the teaching. Give a gift 1:14:38 for them. That is permissible. But if 1:14:42 everything is linked to money, 1:14:44 eventually selling prayers, water, this 1:14:46 , or that, people will eventually ask," 1:14:48 What kind of religion is this? "Right, 1:14:52 ladies? So, ladies and gentlemen, hang 1:14:56 our hopes only on God. Don't we recite 1:15:00 every day*iyaka na'budu wa iyaka 1:15:02 nastain*? And thank God, I openly give 1:15:05 my gratitude to God. Every time I face 1:15:09 a problem, God provides help. I 1:15:13 remember fondly, I had a son and a 1:15:15 cousin who wanted to enter medical 1:15:17 school and were accepted. My cousin 1:15:22 happened to have the funds prepared. My 1:15:26 son didn't have the money at the time 1:15:27 because it was quite a large amount, 1:15:29 around 10 million back then, which was 1:15:31 quite a lot. Now it costs 100 million. 1:15:36 Finally I said," Just wait, you 1:15:38 continue your studies next year. Let 1:15:42 him go first. "What happened? I was 1:15:45 visiting someone's house when someone 1:15:48 called," Ustaz, please come and collect 1:15:50 your commission now. "That was the last 1:15:53 day I had to pay the school fees. I 1:15:58 went straight to him and received my 1:16:01 commission of 60 million. Not a cent 1:16:04 more. I went straight to Bank Mandiri 1:16:08 and the payment was accepted. 1:16:10 Alhamdulillah. Before, we had nothing, 1:16:14 but we prayed and Allah granted our 1:16:17 request. If we dwell on it, isn't it 1:16:21 stressful? If we dwell on stress and 1:16:23 refuse Allah's decree, we will become 1:16:25 stressed. But accepting what comes from 1:16:28 Allah is the root of happiness. So, 1:16:30 ladies, God willing, you will all 1:16:32 become wealthy. How can you not be 1:16:34 wealthy with Allah? Right? Being with 1:16:36 Allah means you must be wealthy. So, 1:16:38 never leave what is certain. To replace 1:16:41 it with something uncertain. Trusting 1:16:44 the whispers of the devil. May Allah 1:16:46 protect us. Now we have a little time 1:16:48 for Q&A. Please, sir. Go ahead. 1:16:54 Is there anyone? Oh, it's done. Go 1:16:56 ahead. 1:16:59 Please, sir. 1:17:02 We are born into the world waiting to 1:17:05 die. 1:17:06 Why? 1:17:07 We are born into the world waiting to 1:17:09 die. 1:17:12 Huh? 1:17:12 We are born into the world waiting to 1:17:14 die. 1:17:14 Where? Waiting. 1:17:15 Born into the world waiting to die. 1:17:17 Waiting to die. Go ahead, sir. Yes, 1:17:18 that part hasn't come yet. 1:17:20 Number nine hasn't come yet. 1:17:21 Number nine isn't there yet. Ah, that's 1:17:22 right. 1:17:23 So, what I want to ask you, Ustaz, 1:17:25 regarding the lecture earlier? Yes. 1:17:29 About death. Sorry, it’s not that we 1:17:34 are sad, but moved. Yes. Why death? God 1:17:39 willing, we will meet again. The 1:17:41 question is, how to live after death, 1:17:43 Ustaz? 1:17:44 Yes. 1:17:45 There are only two paths. Well, those 1:17:46 paths. Right. We all know, in the 1:17:52 prayers for those who have passed away, 1:17:59 " Ashadu annal mauta haqqun, wal ba'thu 1:18:03 haqqun, was-sa'atu haqqun, wa-allahu 1:18:06 yab'athu man fil qubur. "We testify 1:18:11 that death will surely come, and 1:18:13 likewise, the resurrection is a 1:18:19 certainty. Allah will resurrect us and 1:18:22 hold us accountable. If we live in this 1:18:27 world just to seek pleasure, unaware 1:18:31 that death is coming to take us, we 1:18:34 will destroy our lives. We build our 1:18:39 world while forgetting our eternal 1:18:41 afterlife. Everything returns to human 1:18:44 deeds. Therefore, in Surah Al-Mulk, 1:18:49 Allah says," Alladzi khalaqal mauta wal 1:18:51 hayah. "What are the two things 1:18:55 mentioned?" Alladzi khalaqal maut. "It 1:18:59 is not" al-hayah "first, but" al-maut 1:19:01 wal hayah. "Allah created death, then 1:19:05 life." Liyabluwakum. "" Ayyukum ahsanu' 1:19:08 amala. "To test who among you is best 1:19:11 in deeds. We die twice, and we live 1:19:15 twice. Before we were born into this 1:19:18 life, we were nothing at all. Then 1:19:21 Allah gave us life. After that, Allah 1:19:25 causes us to die again. Then He 1:19:28 resurrects us to account for our deeds. 1:19:32 If an official is summoned by the KPK 1:19:35 or the police, do they tremble? Some 1:19:39 even get so nervous they lose their 1:19:40 composure. They are confused about why 1:19:43 they were summoned and what their 1:19:44 mistake was. Isn't that right? Even 1:19:46 though their whole way of life was 1:19:47 wrong. Even though the KPK cannot do 1:19:51 much. They might get sent to jail, or 1:19:54 even bribe their way out. But before 1:19:57 Allah, when we are resurrected, wealth 1:20:00 and children will be of no avail, 1:20:03 except for those who come with a pure 1:20:06 heart. So, do not be proud of what we 1:20:09 possess. Do not be sad over what is 1:20:12 lost, but be grateful for what Allah 1:20:14 has given. Ask to be placed within 1:20:17 Allah’s pleasure. Then be patient 1:20:19 while waiting for Allah's grace and 1:20:22 generosity. The prophets lived through 1:20:25 severe trials. How can we complain when 1:20:28 we are tested just a little? Isn't that 1:20:31 right? Someone told me yesterday," 1:20:33 Ustaz, my situation used to be 1:20:35 extraordinary. "Since COVID, people 1:20:37 started going online. People who used 1:20:41 to attend lectures every day now come 1:20:43 only once a week. He started a culinary 1:20:47 business that used to generate great 1:20:49 income every month. Suddenly, the 1:20:52 university went online. In the end, his 1:20:56 income decreased. So his business has 1:20:58 been declining for years. I asked," How 1:21:00 long has it been? "" Well, about 3 1:21:02 years. "How long did Allah bestow His 1:21:04 blessings upon you? You have been given 1:21:07 blessings for such a long time. Right? 1:21:11 Your business was growing and thriving. 1:21:13 You have a family, and your children 1:21:15 are independent. You still have a 1:21:18 vehicle. Right? You have plenty of food 1:21:21 at home, too. Why are you sad? Why are 1:21:25 you sad? Look at those in the wards, 1:21:27 look at those who are struggling and 1:21:30 cannot meet their needs. We should be 1:21:32 ashamed if we are not grateful to Allah 1:21:34 . So, don't think that having trouble 1:21:36 means you've fallen. No. It is also a 1:21:38 test to raise our status and forgive 1:21:41 our sins. So, regarding our lives, we 1:21:45 were created for what? Death. After 1:21:50 death, Allah will resurrect us. Suppose 1:21:53 we live in this world for 100 years. 1:21:56 100 years...compared to one day in the 1:22:00 afterlife, what is the ratio? And 1:22:04 indeed, a day in the sight of your Lord 1:22:06 is like a thousand years of your 1:22:07 counting. One day with Allah is equal 1:22:11 to 1,000 years by our calculation. So, 1:22:16 ladies, if you live for 100 years, 1:22:17 it’s only 1/10th of a day in the 1:22:19 afterlife. Worldly days end very 1:22:22 quickly. But the afterlife has no end 1:22:25 at all. It is a long life, either of 1:22:29 eternal happiness or eternal suffering. 1:22:32 Is it fitting for you to prioritize 1:22:34 this fleeting world, leaving behind the 1:22:37 eternal afterlife? It would be such a 1:22:38 waste. That’s why if we have too many 1:22:42 desires, we get tired; tired of wanting 1:22:45 this and that. Isn't that right, ladies 1:22:47 ? I remember back in my boarding school 1:22:50 days, when I was traveling from my 1:22:52 parents 'place to the pesantren, I 1:22:54 would stop in Sukabumi. Before reaching 1:22:59 the village, because my school was in 1:23:00 the mountains. I would smell the satay 1:23:03 seller. Chicken satay. With quail eggs 1:23:08 as well. The aroma was amazing; we 1:23:11 craved it but had no money. We promised 1:23:15 that if we had money, we would eat it. 1:23:18 Chicken satay with rice cakes. Madura 1:23:20 satay. When we finally had the money, 1:23:23 we ate it and it was incredibly 1:23:24 delicious. Now, thank God, we have the 1:23:28 money, but the appetite is gone. The 1:23:31 appetite is gone. As soon as we have 1:23:33 the money, what we wanted is no longer 1:23:36 there. We try to eat this, we have no 1:23:37 appetite; we eat that, we have no 1:23:38 appetite. Eat the wrong thing, get 1:23:40 diarrhea, get bloated every day, it can 1:23:41 cause bloating. Isn't that right? So, 1:23:45 actually, the people who can best enjoy 1:23:47 the pleasures of the world aren't the 1:23:49 rich. The rich have all sorts of food 1:23:52 on the table, but their minds are 1:23:54 everywhere. Bank bills, needs for this, 1:23:57 needs for that. They might even have 1:23:59 trillions, but their lives are restless 1:24:01 . And full of fear. So, brothers and 1:24:04 sisters, never have too many wishes or 1:24:06 fantasies. Enjoy what Allah has given 1:24:09 us. Isn't that right? We are grateful, 1:24:13 Alhamdulillah, may Allah perfect His 1:24:15 blessings for our families in this 1:24:17 world and in the hereafter. So, we are 1:24:19 the children of the hereafter. We are 1:24:21 the sons and daughters of the hereafter 1:24:23 . I hope I am not just good at talking. 1:24:26 I want this life to rely completely on 1:24:28 Allah. When we are happy or when we are 1:24:31 struggling, we hope in Allah. Now, 1:24:34 let's see, which of the ladies wants to 1:24:36 ask a question? What is this lady's 1:24:39 name? 1:24:40 Rukmini. 1:24:40 Huh? 1:24:41 Rukmini. 1:24:42 She is the replacement for Ibu Sumiati. 1:24:44 Yes. May Allah have mercy on her. I 1:24:45 didn't know when she passed away. Which 1:24:48 lady? 1:24:49 This lady is... 1:24:50 Rukmini. 1:24:51 Rukmini. MashaAllah. Ibu Asmiati used 1:24:54 to study here. Studied in Keranji, 1:24:56 studied in Bekasi. Every time I came to 1:24:59 Bekasi, I asked to see her. When she 1:25:01 passed away, I asked," Where is Ibu 1:25:03 Sumiati? "Asmiati has passed away. Her 1:25:06 eyes couldn't see at all, but her heart 1:25:09 was brighter than our hearts, our eyes. 1:25:11 Go ahead, Ma'am. 1:25:14 Sir, I once heard that the Quran says 1:25:17 the earth is flat. 1:25:20 But Christians say the earth is round, 1:25:22 which one is correct, Sir? Peace be 1:25:24 upon you, and Allah's mercy and 1:25:25 blessings. 1:25:26 And peace be upon you. This is actually 1:25:28 because people interpret the Quran in 1:25:31 pieces. The earth, from our point of 1:25:36 view, is vast, isn't it? Is it vast? If 1:25:42 you were, say, walking toward a peak. 1:25:48 Every few meters, you go up 5 cm? Every 1:25:52 few meters, you go up 5 cm. Does it 1:25:54 feel steep? Is it steep? No. But if we 1:25:59 climb straight to the top, it's high. 1:26:04 So Allah gave us this round earth, but 1:26:06 in our eyes, He makes it seem flat. As 1:26:11 for the earth being round, what does 1:26:13 the Quran say? Yukawwirul laila alan 1:26:18 nahari waukawwirun nahar alalil. Do you 1:26:23 know what' kawara 'means in Arabic? 1:26:26 Kawara is derived from' kurah '. Kurah 1:26:27 means a ball. Kurah means a ball. 1:26:32 Kawaral imamah. If I take a turban and 1:26:35 I wind it around like this, that is 1:26:38 called' kawaral imamah '. So, yukawirul 1:26:42 laila alan nahar wauwirun nahar alalil. 1:26:45 It means Allah rotates the day and 1:26:47 night alternately with the apparent 1:26:50 movement of the sun circling our earth, 1:26:53 just like a turban. That is the equator 1:26:57 . Now, if the Earth were flat, as soon 1:27:01 as the sun rose, all parts of the Earth 1:27:03 would be illuminated. Right? If the 1:27:09 Earth is flat, then when the sun rises, 1:27:11 it comes from where? From the east. 1:27:15 Actually, it's the Earth that moves, 1:27:18 not the sun; the sun doesn't move. So, 1:27:20 it's the Earth that rotates like this 1:27:21 facing the sun. The sun goes from the 1:27:24 east to the west. If it were flat, it 1:27:26 should go back, right? Isn't that right 1:27:30 ? If the Earth were flat, from east to 1:27:33 west and then back from west to east, 1:27:34 it would be flat. Right? But because it 1:27:40 is round, a change between day and 1:27:42 night occurs, taking turns. So let's 1:27:44 say the sun is here, the Earth is here. 1:27:47 It spins and spins until the side 1:27:49 facing the sun is bright, and the side 1:27:53 facing away from the sun is dark." By 1:27:57 the night when it covers and the day 1:27:59 when it shines. "Likewise," By the sun 1:28:03 and its brightness, and the moon when 1:28:05 it follows it, and the day when it 1:28:06 displays it. "Let's see how that 1:28:10 movement is not felt. I want to 1:28:14 illustrate this for you, ladies. If you 1:28:17 , ladies, are on a train, there are two 1:28:20 tracks leaving for Surabaya, the speed 1:28:23 is the same, the tracks are also the 1:28:26 same. When moving together, do you feel 1:28:29 like you're moving? Do you feel the 1:28:32 movement? No. But if you are at the 1:28:36 station, your train is stationary. The 1:28:41 train in front of you moves, do we feel 1:28:43 like we are moving? 1:28:44 We feel like we are moving. Even though 1:28:45 we are stationary. Well, the universe, 1:28:48 Allah created everything to move, 1:28:50 including our Earth, and our mountains 1:28:52 too." And you see the mountains... "" 1:29:00 ...thinking them to be fixed. "In 1:29:02 reality, they are moving. Like the 1:29:05 passing of clouds. That is the beauty 1:29:07 and majesty of Allah's creation. Do you 1:29:09 know, ladies? This Earth rotates on its 1:29:12 axis at a very high speed, faster than 1:29:14 an airplane. Do you feel it? Notice 1:29:18 this glass, is it moving? If you are on 1:29:21 a man-made plane, no matter how 1:29:23 advanced, if you put a glass or food 1:29:25 down, doesn't it shake? But the Earth, 1:29:29 which is so big to our eyes, moves at a 1:29:31 high speed, yet you don't feel any 1:29:33 vibration at all. Imagine if the 1:29:37 vibrations were felt, could you sleep? 1:29:40 Could you sleep? You wouldn't be able 1:29:42 to sleep, right? Just a tremor of nine 1:29:44 on the Richter scale made Aceh 1:29:46 devastated and ruined. Venezuela 1:29:48 destroyed by a nine. Imagine when the 1:29:52 Day of Judgment comes, the Earth will 1:29:53 be shaken, and the sun will go out. God 1:29:56 willing, you, ladies and gentlemen, 1:29:57 will not experience it. God willing, 1:29:58 only the disbelievers will experience 1:29:59 it. God willing, we live in this world 1:30:02 with full faith in Allah. When we die, 1:30:05 the angels will bring good news. In the 1:30:07 grave, it will be illuminated to become 1:30:08 a garden of paradise, and when 1:30:09 resurrected, we will be accompanied by 1:30:11 angels. What is important? Do not 1:30:13 forget Allah. Do not hold on to 1:30:15 anything other than Allah. We mingle 1:30:18 with fellow servants, helping one 1:30:21 another, but do not pin our lives on 1:30:23 anyone except Him. Do not pin your life 1:30:26 on your spouse; if they die, you will 1:30:28 end up in despair. Husbands also should 1:30:32 not pin their hopes on their wives or 1:30:34 children. As soon as they become 1:30:37 helpless, feelings of annoyance, 1:30:38 sadness, and various other emotions 1:30:40 will arise in our hearts. But for Allah 1:30:43 , there is no day or night, nothing is 1:30:46 difficult, nothing is easy. Everything 1:30:49 is easy for Allah whenever He wills it. 1:30:53 Any more questions, ladies? All right, 1:30:56 one more, please. Usually three ladies, 1:30:58 one gentleman. Because the ladies have 1:31:01 the right to three. So you know that 1:31:03 Islam honors women. Please go ahead. 1:31:08 Yes, please go ahead. Go ahead, both of 1:31:10 you. Peace be upon you, and Allah's 1:31:13 mercy and blessings. 1:31:14 And peace be upon you too. 1:31:16 Um, Ustaz, I want to ask, we are 1:31:19 supposed to have faith and pray to 1:31:22 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. 1:31:25 Sorry, ma'am, less of what? The voice 1:31:27 is unclear, please clarify. 1:31:30 We must have faith and always pray to 1:31:32 Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and I truly 1:31:35 have that faith. But, because maybe I 1:31:40 have too many sins, Ustaz. 1:31:44 I have many sins too, ladies and 1:31:46 gentlemen. 1:31:47 Um. So, I always pray in blessed places 1:31:52 , like when I was performing Hajj at 1:31:56 Masjidil Haram in front of the Kaaba 1:31:59 recently. We prayed for our children to 1:32:03 be safe and healthy. Eh, when I 1:32:08 returned from my tawaf, 1:32:11 yes. 1:32:12 To the hotel, it turned out my child 1:32:16 had had an accident. 1:32:18 Yes, 1:32:20 it was like that, Ustaz. My question is 1:32:23 , what should I improve in myself to 1:32:27 truly believe that my prayers will 1:32:30 definitely be answered? Thank you, 1:32:34 Ustaz. Alright. Peace be upon you, and 1:32:35 Allah's mercy and blessings. 1:32:39 Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah). Our 1:32:40 Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, 1:32:43 had his sons taken by Allah one by one, 1:32:47 including the one named Ibrahim. When 1:32:51 Ibrahim passed away, there was an 1:32:53 eclipse. Eventually, people said the 1:32:57 sky was grieving because the Prophet's 1:33:00 son had died. The Prophet said," 1:33:04 Innasyamsa walqamar ayatani min 1:33:07 ayatillah. "" La tuksafan wala 1:33:11 tuhsafani limauti ahad. "" Indeed, the 1:33:16 sun and the moon are two signs of 1:33:19 Allah's greatness. "" They do not 1:33:24 eclipse because of anyone's death. " 1:33:28 This means it was a choice from Allah, 1:33:31 a test for whom? For our Prophet. In 1:33:36 the Jahiliyyah era, ladies, women had 1:33:39 no value. Women were considered low, 1:33:43 and men were the ones expected to 1:33:45 succeed. Therefore, in the past, Arabs 1:33:48 would be extraordinarily happy if they 1:33:50 had a son. But if they had a daughter 1:33:54 back then, they would feel ashamed and 1:33:56 avoid people. Because they were sad and 1:34:00 grieving. Subhanallah, Allah had our 1:34:03 Prophet's sons taken one by one, 1:34:05 leaving only his daughters. And the 1:34:08 Prophet treated his daughters with 1:34:10 extraordinary care. When his daughter 1:34:12 arrived, he would stand, kiss her 1:34:14 forehead, and give her his seat. He 1:34:16 called her Ummu Abiha, the mother of 1:34:19 her father. When he was going on a 1:34:21 journey, the Prophet, when he wanted to 1:34:23 go on a trip, right? What did he do? 1:34:27 The first, the last house he would 1:34:29 leave was his daughter's house. When 1:34:33 returning from his journey, the first 1:34:34 house he would visit was his daughter's 1:34:36 house. That is how the Prophet set an 1:34:39 example in treating women. So the 1:34:43 passing of the Prophet's sons did not 1:34:45 mean it was a bad omen. The people of 1:34:48 Jahiliyyah said," Inna Muhammadan abtar 1:34:50 . "Prophet Muhammad has no offspring. 1:34:52 Because all his sons passed away. Then 1:34:54 the Surah was revealed: Inna a'tainakal 1:34:57 kautsar, fasalli lirabbika wanhar, inna 1:35:00 shani'aka huwal abtar. We have granted 1:35:03 you Al-Kautsar, an abundance of 1:35:05 goodness. Not just a pond, but 1:35:07 including his descendants. So pray as 1:35:10 an expression of gratitude and 1:35:13 sacrifice as thanks to Allah. Those who 1:35:16 mock you, they are the ones who are cut 1:35:19 off. Why? Because if a disbeliever has 1:35:23 a faithful child, they are disconnected 1:35:26 from their father. Abu Jahl had no true 1:35:29 legacy. Why? Because he was a 1:35:31 disbeliever. Even though his son 1:35:32 Ikrimah converted to Islam, there is no 1:35:34 bond with his father. So the bond only 1:35:38 applies to those who have faith. If a 1:35:41 child or parent is a disbeliever, they 1:35:44 are not united. But for the faithful, 1:35:47 Allah will unite them all. So, if you 1:35:51 go to the Holy Land and pray. Suddenly 1:35:54 your child meets with an accident. This 1:35:57 accident might actually be to elevate 1:35:58 your status. You are being tested. If 1:36:02 you patiently accept it, your status is 1:36:05 raised upon returning from Hajj. Your 1:36:08 prayers are accepted. Allah wants to do 1:36:11 what is best for you. Because wa' asa 1:36:14 an takrahu syai'an wa huwa khairullakum 1:36:16 . What does that mean? What you dislike 1:36:18 may not necessarily be bad; it might be 1:36:20 better for you. Prophet Ayub was tested 1:36:24 , from losing his wealth, his children 1:36:26 being taken by Allah, then suffering an 1:36:28 illness until villagers called him 1:36:30 cursed. But in the end, Allah showed 1:36:35 Ayub's glory. So, those who are 1:36:38 elevated in status are those who 1:36:39 undergo trials. If you want to move 1:36:41 from elementary to junior high, you 1:36:42 must take an exam, right? 1:36:44 Same for moving to high school. You 1:36:46 wouldn't just be given a diploma. That 1:36:48 would be a fake diploma. Is that right? 1:36:52 So, ladies, to achieve glory in the 1:36:54 hereafter, we must be ready to undergo 1:36:57 tests. If something bitter happens, say 1:37:00 " Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi roji'un. " 1:37:03 If something good happens, we accept it 1:37:05 , and don't forget to be grateful to 1:37:07 Allah, realizing that it is also a test 1:37:10 . So, life is not actually as we plan 1:37:14 it. We as servants are undergoing tests 1:37:18 . Allah plans the tests to see our 1:37:20 patience and gratitude toward Him. 1:37:22 Lastly, who was next? Please go ahead. 1:37:28 Yes, you can go together. Please, Ma'am 1:37:30 . 1:37:42 Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy 1:37:43 and blessings. Ustaz Husein, I am 1:37:46 Yuniar from Cilengsi. My question is, 1:37:51 Mother Aisyah, may Allah be pleased 1:37:53 with her, narrated 2,210 hadiths, as I 1:37:56 have read. Yet, in this day and age, 1:38:01 there are still groups that claim women 1:38:05 shouldn't be smart or shouldn't be 1:38:07 smarter than men. Please, are there any 1:38:13 Quranic verses that clearly state the 1:38:17 position of men and women is equal in 1:38:22 terms of knowledge, worship, and social 1:38:26 life? May Allah reward you. Peace be 1:38:29 upon you, and Allah's mercy and 1:38:30 blessings. 1:38:32 We are still, in reality, what? Still 1:38:37 not free from the remnants of 1:38:39 Jahiliyyah. Allah made men as partners 1:38:44 to women. A woman is a partner to her 1:38:48 husband. Not to be an opponent that 1:38:51 leads to competition, but to work 1:38:53 together. A man is not noble simply 1:38:57 because he is a man. A woman is not 1:39:01 noble simply because she is a woman. 1:39:04 But nobility depends on devotion, 1:39:07 obedience, and sacrifice. For example, 1:39:11 Sayyidah Khadijah, Mother of the 1:39:14 Believers, may Allah be pleased with 1:39:16 her, was truly a very noble woman. None 1:39:19 of the Prophet's other wives could 1:39:21 equal her. Sayyidah Aisyah once felt 1:39:24 jealous, right? Giving everything to 1:39:26 Khadijah's friends, everything to 1:39:28 Khadijah's connections. Until she said, 1:39:31 " You married a widow, while I am a 1:39:33 virgin. "The Prophet (PBUH) was very 1:39:36 angry at that moment." When people 1:39:38 opposed me, she was the one who 1:39:39 defended me. "" When people "" withheld 1:39:44 their wealth, Sayyidah Khadijah was the 1:39:46 one who sacrificed all of hers. "So 1:39:48 much so that it is narrated in the 1:39:50 hadith that every time Gabriel 1:39:53 descended, he would say to Khadijah," 1:39:56 Innallaha yuk salam. "" Allah sends His 1:39:59 greetings to you, O Khadijah. "That 1:40:01 clarifies the role of a woman, doesn't 1:40:02 it? Then the other wives of the Prophet 1:40:05 were all noble women as well. The wives 1:40:09 of the Prophet were among those who 1:40:11 narrated hadith from him. Even Sayyidah 1:40:14 Aisyah was someone who often criticized 1:40:17 false hadiths in her time. When a 1:40:21 companion unknowingly said that the 1:40:24 deceased is tortured by the crying of 1:40:27 their family, Sayyidah Aisyah said this 1:40:30 is absolutely not true." Wala taziru 1:40:33 waziratun ukhra. "No bearer shall bear 1:40:36 the sins of another. That is the Quran. 1:40:39 Therefore, there is a collection of 1:40:41 hadiths called*Istidrakat Aisyah 'ala 1:40:43 al-Sahabah*. Aisyah's corrections to 1:40:45 the companions of the Prophet. So, if a 1:40:50 mother becomes knowledgeable, obedient, 1:40:53 and pious without neglecting her role 1:40:56 as a wife, as a mother, and as a 1:40:58 daughter who respects her parents, she 1:41:01 gains nobility in this world and the 1:41:04 hereafter. But don't let knowledge lead 1:41:09 you to abandon your duty to your 1:41:11 husband, looking down on him just 1:41:13 because his knowledge is less than 1:41:15 yours. Neglecting obligations to 1:41:18 children, traveling here and there. 1:41:20 Using the excuse of" dakwah, dakwah, 1:41:23 dakwah. "But do not neglect your duty 1:41:26 to your husband. Do not neglect your 1:41:29 duty to your children. Don't water the 1:41:30 distant fields while the ones at home 1:41:32 wither away. Is that right, ladies? So, 1:41:36 if a woman performs her duty as a good 1:41:39 wife, influencing her husband to be a 1:41:41 good person, a good mother, a good 1:41:44 child, and a good member of society, 1:41:46 she gains nobility in this world and 1:41:49 the next. Therefore, we must realize 1:41:53 that without women, we would not be 1:41:55 noble human beings. A mother's role 1:41:59 cannot be compared to anything else. A 1:42:03 wife also has the role of either 1:42:05 building up or tearing down. A wife who 1:42:08 motivates her husband, supports him, 1:42:10 and reminds him to be patient, can 1:42:13 produce extraordinary husbands. But a 1:42:16 wife who constantly nags, always argues 1:42:20 , and belittles her husband is one who 1:42:23 can destroy him. So, who is the one 1:42:26 doing the building? Therefore, an 1:42:30 Arabic saying goes," Inna waroa kulli 1:42:33 rajulin najihin imraah. "Likewise," wa 1:42:36 inna waroa kulli rajulin fasilin imraah 1:42:39 . "Know that behind every successful 1:42:43 man, there is a woman. But behind every 1:42:47 failing man, there is also a woman. 1:42:50 Perhaps his mother did not raise him 1:42:52 well. Take me as an example; I only 1:42:54 lived with my father for maybe 4 years. 1:42:58 Before that, I mostly lived with my 1:42:59 grandmother and my mother's family. 1:43:02 Those who played the biggest role in 1:43:04 motivating me were women. We owe a 1:43:08 great debt of gratitude to women. And 1:43:11 when people say women are created from 1:43:14 a man's crooked rib. If we ask, where 1:43:16 is that in the Quran? It's not there. 1:43:18 What exists is in the Old Testament, 1:43:21 not the Quran. God created men and 1:43:24 women in pairs. Hunna libasul lakum wa 1:43:27 antum libasul. If women were crooked, 1:43:30 Sayidah Khadijah would not exist. The 1:43:33 wives of the Prophet, Sayidah Fatimah, 1:43:35 and Sayidah Maryam. This is all the 1:43:38 work of ignorant men wanting to put 1:43:40 women down so they obey them. The man 1:43:44 himself is not obedient to God. His 1:43:46 prayers are not right, and sometimes he 1:43:48 even commits sins. Yet he threatens his 1:43:50 wife," If you don't obey your husband, 1:43:52 you won't smell the scent of heaven, 1:43:53 even if you study and do good deeds. " 1:43:55 Is that right? This is not correct. If 1:44:00 a husband is not obedient to God, the 1:44:03 wife does not have to follow what he 1:44:05 demands. She may only obey her husband 1:44:09 in matters that please God. Even a 1:44:13 child, if their parent or father says," 1:44:15 Please buy me some liquor. "The child 1:44:18 should not follow that. It is not 1:44:19 disobedience. One must not follow 1:44:21 parents in committing wrongdoings. But 1:44:23 follow them in what is right. So, 1:44:26 mothers, nothing prevents you from 1:44:27 becoming noble and knowledgeable human 1:44:29 beings. Nothing at all. In Egypt, there 1:44:32 are many women who have memorized the 1:44:34 Quran, are great scholars, yet remain 1:44:37 good wives, good mothers, and their 1:44:39 children even become successful people. 1:44:43 So, the important thing is not to be 1:44:45 like one incident in Jakarta. A female 1:44:47 preacher (Ustazah) whose wife was busy 1:44:49 traveling here and there. Her husband 1:44:51 said," Stay home once in a while to be 1:44:53 with us and the children. "" Don't make 1:44:55 me look after the kids. "" When are you 1:44:56 going to work? "" Hey, don't you know I 1:44:58 am doing Jihad in the path of God, 1:44:59 preaching in the path of God, and you 1:45:01 preventing me is a sin. "Imagine that, 1:45:03 ladies. Now, a woman like this is truly 1:45:08 not wise. Her knowledge doesn't lead to 1:45:13 truth, but to arrogance and pride. Is 1:45:16 that right, ladies? Would you agree if 1:45:18 you had a daughter like this? You 1:45:21 wouldn't agree, would you? Let alone 1:45:22 having a daughter-in-law like this. In 1:45:24 the end, your child is left neglected 1:45:26 and wandering everywhere. That is all, 1:45:29 ladies. God willing, there is one more 1:45:31 starting now. 1:45:32 Please go ahead. Gentlemen, we are 1:45:36 giving the ladies the opportunity first 1:45:38 , okay. For the gentlemen, please, the 1:45:39 ladies first. 1:45:39 Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi 1:45:41 wabarakatuh. Yes. 1:45:42 First, praise be to God that I am still 1:45:45 able to be here. I hope you are always 1:45:48 healthy, Ustaz. 1:45:49 Amen. You too, ma'am. God willing. 1:45:51 Yes. May you always be given ease in 1:45:53 everything. 1:45:54 Amen. God willing. 1:45:55 Here is the thing, Ustaz. I want to ask 1:45:58 if you have ever recommended verses 1:46:02 that encourage giving charity? 1:46:07 I'm not quite sure. Yes. Which ones are 1:46:09 they, sir? What? 1:46:10 Yes, Ustaz. Verses about reading 1:46:13 Yes. 1:46:13 Verses that say we must always give 1:46:16 charity. 1:46:17 Heh. 1:46:17 Thank God, I often receive charity. I 1:46:22 praise God for everyone who gives 1:46:26 charity to 1:46:30 now I have also tried as much as I can 1:46:34 to give charity back at the mosque or 1:46:37 somewhere else. Ma'am, please give some 1:46:42 good advice to everyone about charity. 1:46:43 Thank God, Ustaz. Likewise, ma'am, may 1:46:47 you have a long, healthy life and a 1:46:49 good end. Hopefully, for all of you 1:46:50 mothers here as well. 1:46:53 Likewise. In the name of Allah, the 1:46:54 Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 1:46:55 Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 1:46:57 O Allah, send blessings and peace upon 1:47:00 Your servant and messenger, our master 1:47:02 Muhammad, and his family and companions 1:47:04 . O Allah, our Lord, we have wronged 1:47:08 ourselves, and if You do not forgive us 1:47:10 and have mercy upon us, we will surely 1:47:12 be among the losers. Our Lord, forgive 1:47:15 me and my parents and the believers on 1:47:17 the Day the account is established. O 1:47:21 Allah, bless us in our children, 1:47:23 preserve them, and provide for them. O 1:47:27 Allah, make us righteous, upright, 1:47:30 repentant to You, and obedient to Your 1:47:33 commands. O Allah and our guidance and 1:47:42 our direction and our descendants, 1:47:47 surely we are to You and we are among 1:47:50 the Muslims in Your mercy. With the 1:48:03 righteous, O Almighty, O Forgiver, O 1:48:05 Lord of the worlds, accept from us, 1:48:08 praise be to Allah. Is this study group 1:48:14 held once a month? 1:48:15 Once a month, ma'am, where do you live? 1:48:22 That's quite far, my goodness. Yes, the 1:48:24 distance is very far. Masyaallah. May 1:48:27 you all be blessed by Allah, God 1:48:29 willing. We can often meet again, God 1:48:31 willing, in the future. God willing. 1:48:34 What is this? 1:48:35 You may. 1:48:36 Who is it? 1:48:37 Combining intentions for sunnah prayers 1:48:39 . 1:48:40 There is a question. Is it allowed to 1:48:42 combine the intentions for sunnah 1:48:43 prayers? The hajat prayer, the 1:48:45 repentance prayer, yes. Then let's say 1:48:48 other prayers. Allah the Almighty is 1:48:51 not like us who keep tabs. That is 1:48:54 enough. Don't be excessive. Otherwise, 1:48:57 the" price "will get even higher. Since 1:48:58 Allah is the Most Rich, ma'am, if you 1:49:00 intend all kinds of goodness in, let's 1:49:04 say, two units of prayer, you can. 1:49:07 Likewise with fasting, if you have 1:49:08 various intentions for sunnah fasting, 1:49:10 feel free to do so. But do not mix 1:49:12 sunnah fasting with the mandatory one. 1:49:15 The mandatory one is a different matter 1:49:17 . But for sunnah, you can have various 1:49:19 intentions. Because intention is 1:49:20 actually what determines whether our 1:49:22 deeds are accepted or not. And if you 1:49:24 ask Allah, do not ask for a little, ask 1:49:26 for a lot. Ask Allah for as much 1:49:28 goodness as possible. As long as you 1:49:30 don't ask other people. Allah dislikes 1:49:33 it when His servant asks Him, but isn't 1:49:36 sure, so they ask someone else too. So 1:49:39 be patient, God willing, hopefully, you 1:49:41 will receive a blessing from Allah soon 1:49:43 . Glory be to Allah and praise be to 1:49:44 Allah. Glory be to You, O Allah, and 1:49:46 with Your praise, I bear witness that 1:49:47 there is no god but You, I seek Your 1:49:49 forgiveness and repent to You. Peace be 1:49:50 upon you. Peace be upon you, and the 1:49:52 mercy of Allah and His blessings. 1:50:01 Thank you to all the mothers for coming 1:50:03 . God willing, we will meet again next 1:50:06 month on Wednesday. Wednesday, yes, the 1:50:11 third Wednesday. 1:50:12 Yes. Every Wednesday, Kak Musa. 1:50:16 Last week. Yes.
