- In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious
- , the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you,
- and the mercy and blessings of Allah. O
- Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and
- the family of Muhammad. How are you
- doing? I hope you are all in good
- health. Well, we meet again for the
- program "Reflections under the Shade of
- the Quran." Ustaz Husin will continue
- to explain Surah Al-Hadid, starting
- from verse 11. Okay, yes. This program
- is also broadcast on Radio Sela FM in
- Batam, Radio Habibullah in Banyuwangi,
- Radio Latansa in Sukabumi, then Radio
- Luciana Nor One in Semarang, Radio
- Madina in Pontianak, Radio Rasal in
- Palembang, and the Community Radio in
- Bondowoso. Let us recite Surah
- Al-Fatihah first. Peace be upon you all
- .
- I seek refuge in Allah from the
- accursed Satan. In the name of Allah,
- the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
- All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the
- worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most
- Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment
- . It is You we worship and You we ask
- for help. Guide us to the straight path
- . The path of those upon whom You have
- bestowed favor. Not of those who have
- evoked [Your] anger. Amen.
- Well, alhamdulillah, we have recited
- Al-Fatihah together. May Allah grant us
- a good understanding of the Quran. Let
- us now listen to the explanation of
- Surah Al-Hadid, starting, God willing,
- from verse 11.
- Brothers and sisters, listeners and
- viewers of Silaturahim Radio, may you
- be blessed by Allah. Infinite praise be
- to the presence of Allah. Gratitude
- that truly can never possibly match the
- favors that Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala
- has bestowed upon us all. We can only
- say Alhamdulillah. All praise is for
- Allah, abundant, good, and blessed
- praise, as He loves and as is befitting
- of His majesty. Glory be to You, I
- cannot enumerate Your praises; You are
- as You have praised Yourself, so all
- praise is for You until You are
- satisfied, and all praise is for You
- when You are satisfied, and all praise
- is for You after You are satisfied. O
- Allah, send peace, blessings, and
- greetings. Our Lord, grant us from
- Yourself mercy and prepare for us from
- our affair right guidance. Our Lord,
- increase us in knowledge and faith. And
- after that. Brothers and sisters who
- are blessed by Allah. Listeners and
- viewers. As well as Ustaz Muhammad
- Krisna who is accompanying us this
- morning, Nesa, and all the crew and all
- our brothers and sisters, Muslims and
- Muslim women, who are walking together
- towards Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. May
- Allah always guide us, lead us, forgive
- our mistakes, and illuminate us with
- His guidance, giving us the strength
- and perseverance to truly face these
- trials of life with full sincerity,
- submission to Allah, and patience. May
- Allah protect us from slipping.
- Slipping away from the truth is the
- most frightening thing in this life.
- May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala make us
- people who hold firmly to His book,
- walking upon the guidance of the
- sunnahs of our Prophet Muhammad
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Until the
- end of our lives, may we truly
- surrender our loyalty solely to Allah,
- His Messenger, and the believers. I say
- as Allah has commanded in His book,
- every time we meet our believing
- brothers and sisters. And when those
- come to you who believe in Our verses,
- say, "Peace be upon you; your Lord has
- decreed upon Himself mercy; and that
- whoever among you does wrong out of
- ignorance and then repents after that
- and corrects himself-indeed, He is
- Forgiving and Merciful." Brothers and
- sisters blessed by Allah, we have
- together reflected on Surah Al-Hadid
- starting from the first verse to verse
- 10. Today, God willing, we will
- continue our reflections on Surah
- Al-Hadid starting from verse 11. In the
- previous reflection, Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala showed His greatness and majesty
- . The heavens, the earth, and
- everything between them show their true
- submission to Allah. Also their
- recognition of the majesty, greatness,
- and holiness of Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala. They all acknowledge that Allah
- is their Creator. Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala is the One who has placed them
- in their positions. They are all
- submissive to Allah, glorifying,
- sanctifying, and praising His greatness
- . Sabbaha lillahi maa fis samawati wa
- fil ard. Sabbaha lillahi maa fis
- samawati wal ard wahuwal azizul hakim.
- Everything in the heavens and on earth
- glorifies, sanctifies, and magnifies
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. This is the
- testimony of the heavens, the earth,
- and all they contain to the oneness of
- Allah. Then verse by verse explains His
- greatness and His majesty, which show
- us that everything begins with Allah,
- depends on Allah, and returns to Him.
- He is the One who grants us life, and
- He is the One who determines our death.
- And eventually, Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala will gather us before Him. Each
- will receive a reward according to the
- deeds they have performed. Then after
- that, Allah Subhanahu asks a question.
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala asks, what
- prevents us from believing in Allah?
- Even though we owe our entire lives to
- Allah. He is the One who has bestowed
- His favors and bounties upon us. Then
- what also prevents us from sharing with
- our brothers and sisters the excess
- that Allah has given us, the benefits
- and rewards of which will return to us
- all. Allah has the power to give His
- provision directly to the servants He
- wills. But Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala
- wants to test us and also give us the
- opportunity to attain glory in the
- sight of Allah as those who distribute
- Allah's favors and provision to His
- servants. Even though Allah has the
- power to do all of that directly. Isn't
- this an honor and a privilege for us?
- The world that we leave behind, which
- we have accumulated, will not be able
- to save us, and will even become a
- burden. But what we spend in the way of
- Allah, that is what constitutes good
- fortune for us all. Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala explains to us that the guidance
- Allah has sent down to us, all its
- benefits return to us. Allah sends down
- His verses to bring us out of the
- darkness into a bright, shining life.
- Who does not want light and guidance in
- this life? Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala,
- in His mercy, sends down His verses not
- to burden us, but precisely to
- illuminate our lives. Hualladzi
- yunazilu ala abdihi ayat bayinat
- liyukhrijakum minaz zhulumati. It is He
- who has sent down to His servant clear,
- illuminating verses to bring you out of
- the darkness into a bright, shining
- life. Wa inallaha bikum laraufur rahim.
- Indeed, Allah is truly Most Kind and
- Most Merciful to you. But we, the
- servants loved by Allah, do not realize
- Allah's love for us. The guidance,
- directions, illumination, and signposts
- of life that Allah gives us, we treat
- with suspicion. As if Allah Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala would harm us or burden us.
- Even though all of it is for our own
- good. But having negative assumptions
- about Allah, an arrogant attitude,
- pride, and vanity over what we possess.
- Even though all of that is a gift from
- Allah. This is what prevents us from
- accepting the guidance and direction of
- Allah. Then after that, Allah Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala reminds us that those who
- fought to build Islam from the
- beginning, who spent their wealth, who
- fought in His path from the very start,
- are not the same as those who fought
- after Islam was in a state of glory and
- strength. Those who struggled from the
- beginning when the truth was still weak
- and had few supporters. They are the
- ones who truly attain height and
- nobility in the sight of Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Although those who
- came later and spent or struggled will
- also receive a good reward. But Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala reminds us that
- every person will be judged by Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala by their struggle
- and their sincerity. So the lesson for
- us is to race toward virtues, to race
- in fighting for the truth, and to
- invite mankind back to Allah. All
- trials and sufferings that we feel will
- be replaced by Allah. Therefore, do not
- let us convey this da'wah hoping for
- mortal material things that we will
- soon leave behind. Now, in verse 11,
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala presents a
- profitable offer, proposing a trade
- that will benefit us in this world and
- the hereafter. Manzalladzi yuqridullaha
- qardan hasanan fayudai'fahu lahu walahu
- ajrun karim. Who among you is willing
- to give a good loan to Allah? This
- language of a loan, ladies and
- gentlemen, is language that truly shows
- the graciousness of Allah Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala toward us. Even though
- everything we have is a gift from Allah
- . Then Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, after
- giving to us, asks, "Who among you will
- give a loan to Allah?" Not for Allah
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala because Allah needs
- it. But for your brothers and sisters
- who are in need. For those who are
- struggling in the path of Allah. To
- lift up those who have fallen, to wipe
- away the tears flowing due to sadness
- and hardship. For support in spreading
- the truth among mankind until everyone
- can enjoy the light of truth in the
- midst of their lives. Whatever we spend
- in the path of goodness that we put out
- is a loan that will be repaid by Allah,
- one repaid up to 700 times over. Allah
- will free us from fear and sadness.
- That is the promise of Allah. Not to
- mention the reward that Allah has
- prepared in the hereafter, which cannot
- be compared to what we see in this
- worldly life. We will not experience
- loss in the world or in the hereafter.
- A deposit that is made by someone by
- entrusting their wealth to a bank
- usually only gets 11, 12, or maybe up
- to 20%. But the loan we give to Allah
- will reap a reward 700 times over. So
- who among you is willing to give a good
- loan to Allah? Allah will repay it many
- times over. Not to mention the very
- noble reward Allah has prepared in the
- hereafter. This noble reward is not
- just for the afterlife, but various
- kinds of benefits and goodness will
- also be felt in this life. Their soul
- will be peaceful and at ease. God
- grants them health and blessings in
- their household. Everyone who provides
- help to their brother, everyone who
- eases the distress of their brother,
- everyone who wipes away the tears of
- their brother, everyone who provides
- aid for their food and drink needs—
- all that is given is not only repaid
- materially by God up to 700 times, but
- we will also feel various kinds of
- spiritual delights in this life. God
- keeps calamities away from them. God
- Subhanahu wa ta'ala also withholds His
- wrath upon us. Therefore, there is no
- loss for those who give in charity.
- Look at the people around you, your
- relatives, your brothers, your sisters,
- your nephews and nieces, your uncles,
- your aunts, prioritize those who are
- close. Pay attention to those who have
- no means of support at all, such as
- elderly widows who have weak children,
- or the frail elderly who do not have
- children to support them, or those who
- are ill, those who are disabled. Our
- concern for them will open the doors of
- God's mercy as wide as possible.
- Wallahu fiil abdi kanal abdu fi auni.
- Akhih. God will always help His servant
- as long as the servant is helping. This
- is good news from our Prophet Muhammad
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam. If this is
- God's promise to those who give in
- charity, and those who do this
- willingly are those who believe in
- God's promises in this world and the
- hereafter. Then what is their condition
- when they leave this world? When they
- are in the grave, when they are
- resurrected in the hereafter, let us
- listen to the words of God Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala in the next verse. Ya mukminina
- wal mukminat. anhar khidina fiha abada
- khidina fihaika. faulim. God Subhanahu
- wa ta'ala brings us to witness the
- state of the believers, both men and
- women. God Subhanahu wa ta'ala brings
- us to witness the moments that will
- occur in the future. At the time when
- mankind is gathered, God Subhanahu wa
- ta'ala shows us now, even though the
- time has not yet come, it is a matter
- of the unseen that will eventually
- happen. But for God Subhanahu wa ta'ala
- , He is not bound by dimensions of
- space and time. God Subhanahu wa ta'ala
- knows the past, the present, and the
- future. God Subhanahu wa ta'ala shows
- us the state of those who believe.
- Likewise the state of the hypocrites
- and the disbelievers. Ya mukminina wal
- mukminat. On the day when you will see
- the believers, both men and women.
- Yasuruhum baina aidihim wabianihim.
- Their light shines before them, and
- likewise on their right side. This is
- when they are all gathered in the field
- of Mahsyar; even before they are
- resurrected in the graves, God
- illuminates them. God's reception for
- those who believe and do righteous
- deeds is different from those who are
- defiant. Likewise, at the moment of the
- throes of death. When those who do not
- care at all about the hereafter, who do
- not remember Allah, and who have no
- provisions to face that day, face the
- throes of death in fear. In a state of
- despair, the believers are visited by
- angels bringing glad tidings. Nahnu
- auliyaukum fil hayatid dunya wafil
- akhirah. We are your protectors in the
- life of this world and the life of the
- hereafter. Therefore, previously,
- innalladina qalu. Alaihimul malaikatu
- alla takhafu wala tahzanu wa absyiru
- bil jannatillati kuntum tuadun. People
- who say, "Our Lord is Allah," truly
- live their lives with full submission
- to Allah. Then they remain steadfast on
- the path of Allah. Angels descend in
- succession to visit them, bringing glad
- tidings. When facing the threat of fear
- : "Do not be afraid." When facing
- trials, "Wala tahzanu." Do not be sad.
- Likewise, when they are about to leave
- this world. In those critical moments,
- angels descend bringing glad tidings.
- Wa absyiru bil jannatillati kuntum
- tuadun. Rejoice in the paradise that
- has been promised to you. We are your
- protectors in the life of this world
- and the life of the hereafter. Walakum
- fiha ma tasytahi anfusukum walakum fiha
- ma taddaun. There, you will find
- whatever your souls desire, and
- whatever you ask for is available
- before you. So, in this 12th verse,
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala illustrates
- for us the state of the believers, with
- glad tidings and their light. Ya
- ayyuhal mukminuna wal mukminat. When
- you witness the state of the believers,
- men and women, light shining before
- them, and their light illuminating them
- from before them and to their right.
- Busrakumul yaum. Glad tidings for you
- this day. Jannatun tajri min tahtihal
- anhar khalidina fiha. Gardens of
- paradise with various rivers flowing
- beneath them. A combination of beauty,
- a combination also of fragrant scents,
- delicious tastes, and also hearing,
- which is truly beautiful. When
- witnessing nature with its murmuring
- sounds, the flowing rivers, the milk,
- the honey, and the non-intoxicating
- wine with clear water passing through
- the dwellings of the inhabitants of
- paradise. Not milk that comes from
- animals, but milk that gushes from
- springs. Likewise, not honey that comes
- from bees, but springs in paradise that
- will emit honey. Not wine that comes
- from processed fruits, but from
- heavenly springs that flow to form
- rivers that do not intoxicate, do not
- cause headaches, and do not make one
- vomit from drunkenness. Likewise, the
- clear water. So, a combination of
- beauty from various sides will be felt
- by the believers. But compare that with
- our life in the world. Is it not a
- shame? Is it not a loss if we
- prioritize this brief world while
- ignoring the eternal hereafter with all
- its pleasures? Gathering with the
- prophets and the beloved of Allah. Glad
- tidings for you this day. Gardens of
- paradise with various rivers flowing
- beneath them, eternal therein. You will
- no longer worry about leaving behind
- your joys and your beautiful homes. You
- will be gathered together with the
- families you love, on the condition
- that you have faith, do good deeds,
- prepare for that day, and are not
- swayed or tempted by worldly life.
- Instead, let the world be our provision
- for meeting Allah. To remain therein
- forever. That is the true success, a
- great fortune that cannot be compared
- to the success one achieves by gaining
- the highest titles, accumulating the
- most wealth, earning empty names full
- of falsehood, or obtaining beautiful
- wives as companions and successful
- children. Know that all of that is
- merely a game. It is all just a
- fleeting drama whose end we will see in
- the afterlife. Many people, because of
- this worldly life, forget themselves,
- forget their life's purpose, forget
- their families, and forget their
- children. They do not think about
- preparing for their final destination.
- Their gaze is fixed solely on worldly
- life. When they achieve the world and
- success for themselves and their
- children, they consider that to be true
- success. They proudly recount their
- children one by one graduating with
- good degrees and obtaining high
- positions. Every time they meet their
- friends, they boast about all of it.
- Yet, none of this is something to be
- proud of. All of this is a test for
- which you will later be held
- accountable by Allah. Only those who
- are wise in being grateful for Allah's
- blessings are the truly happy ones.
- They do not feel proud of all this, but
- they are grateful to Allah for His
- guidance and His grace. They pray that
- their families and children are kept
- within His pleasure. Able to dedicate
- their lives with what Allah has given
- in the struggles they undertake. That
- is true fortune. Yauma yaquul
- munafiquuna wal munafiqatu lilladzina
- amanu minikum. On the same day, at the
- same time, the believers are
- illuminated by their light in front of
- them and to their right, with good news
- welcoming them, while at the same time,
- on the same day, are the hypocrites.
- You will witness their state is truly
- pitiful. Yaquul munafiquuna wal
- munafiqatu lilladzina amanu unzhuruna
- naqtabis min nuurikum. At the same time
- , on the same day, the hypocrites, both
- men and women, are those who hide
- disbelief in their hearts. They show
- faith and Islam. But their hearts do
- not like anything that comes from Allah
- and His Messenger. They want to live
- freely, unbound by Allah’s laws,
- Allah’s rules, or the guidance and
- directions of His Messenger. Islam is
- only as far as their tongues. Islam is
- just an identity written on their ID
- cards, but it does not show true
- submission to Allah. On that same day,
- the hypocrite men and women will say, "
- Unzhuruna naqtabis min nuurikum.""Wait
- for us, let us follow along behind your
- light." They do not possess any light.
- Light shines upon those who believe.
- Now, these hypocrites, with deep
- wailing, beg the believers. "Wait for
- us, let us gain some of your light," so
- that we may follow along behind your
- light. Qila irji'uu waraa'akum. At that
- moment, they were immediately driven
- away by the angels. Irjiu warakum.
- Please go back, turn around and retreat
- . Faltamisura. Please go and seek light
- from somewhere else. Faduriba bainahum
- bisur lahu babun batinuhu fihir rahmatu
- wahiruhu minqibalihilab. Finally, the
- believing men and women were separated
- from the hypocrites. Separated by a
- wall that divides them. batinuhu fih
- rahmah. Inside that wall, the believers
- live in an atmosphere full of mercy.
- Walking toward Allah, toward the place
- Allah has prepared for them. Wahiruhu
- minqibaliilab. But outside that wall,
- torment surrounds them. That is what
- the disbelievers and hypocrites feel.
- Yunadunahum. The hypocrites witness the
- believers in an atmosphere that is cool
- , peaceful, safe, and blissful,
- enjoying Allah's grace. Meanwhile, they
- , the hypocrites outside, feel
- suffering and despair due to their past
- ignorance. Only then do they realize
- that the positions they once held were
- merely pleasures full of falsehoods.
- Positions that were completely
- powerless to save them, protect them,
- or bring them any glory on that day.
- Yunadunahum alamnakum maakum. The
- hypocrites call out to the believers.
- They watch; although separated, they
- can witness what the believers are
- experiencing. Yunadunahum alam nakum
- maakum. The hypocrites call out to the
- believers. Were we not with you? We
- were friends, we were family. Qalu bala
- , the believers answer, "It is true, we
- were with you, and you were with us."
- But our ways of life were different. We
- believed in Allah, we submitted to Him,
- and we strove in His path. While you,
- walakinnakum fatantum anfusakum. You
- let yourselves fall into temptation.
- You were seduced by the worldly life,
- tempted by its fragments and its life
- full of falsehood. Wakinnakum fatantum
- anfusakum. But you let yourselves fall
- into temptation, into seduction.
- Wakinakum fatantum anfusakum. And on
- that day, at that moment, you hoped for
- our ruin, our destruction. Not only did
- you let yourselves fall into temptation
- , you even wished for the ruin and
- destruction of us, the believers. You
- were not happy with the believers.
- Anything related to the believers was,
- in your eyes, lowly and shameful. But
- anything that drew you toward your
- world, toward pleasures and fleeting
- desires, that is what you welcomed.
- Wakinnakum fatantum anfusakum
- watarabbastum. But you let yourselves
- fall into temptation. You were tempted,
- and you also hoped for our destruction.
- Waghrrukumul amani. Waghrrukumul amani.
- And you were tossed about in
- uncertainty and doubt. Waghrrukumul
- amani hatta jaa amrullah. And you were
- lulled, deceived by false hopes until
- the decree of Allah came. The decree of
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, when your
- life ended and you were resurrected to
- gather at this moment. You see your own
- foolishness clearly. Even though you
- previously viewed us as ignorant,
- backward, and left behind. You were
- tossed about in doubt, deceived, and
- lulled by fantasies until Allah’s
- decree arrived. And you allowed
- yourselves to be deceived by Satan, by
- the devil the deceiver and his
- accomplices. Faluma la yuk minkum
- fidyatun w minalladina kafaru
- mawakumunaru maulakum wal masir. So on
- this day, no ransom will be accepted
- from you, even if you possessed the
- world and everything in it, then
- multiplied it. You wish to use it as a
- ransom for yourselves, but Allah will
- not accept it. Just as Allah has
- explained in so many verses.
- Innalladina kafaru lahum mail ardhi
- jamlahu liyaftadu bihi minilabi
- yaumalqiamati ma tuqbil minhum
- walahumzabun alim. If the disbelievers
- possessed the world and everything in
- it, then multiplied it many times over
- to ransom themselves from the Hellfire,
- it would not be accepted by Allah. But
- today, while you are alive, what are
- you spending in the way of Allah? What
- you give in charity and the good deeds
- you perform will be recorded in your
- book of deeds and valued by Allah
- Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Therefore, do not
- let us be deceived by worldly life. Let
- us not merely hoard and collect worldly
- decorations for a fleeting life. Let us
- use those worldly decorations to adorn
- our lives in the afterlife. Share, care
- for those around us. Also, support the
- struggles in the way of Allah that
- invite people to return to Him.
- Mawakumunar. Your final dwelling place
- is the Hellfire. Hiya maulakum. That is
- the place that will be your shelter.
- Wabisal masir. And it is the worst
- possible destination. Waliyadubillah.
- After that, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
- knocks on our hearts to awaken us all,
- to the truth. Namely, "Lilladina amanu
- taksyaubuhumikrillahi w nazala minal
- haqq wala yakunuadina utul kitaba min
- qoblu fa alaihimul amadu faqat."
- Qulubuhum wairum minhum fas, has the
- time not yet come? Even though we have
- gone through worldly life, encountering
- all its twists and turns. It turns out
- what we encounter right now is the same
- as what we encountered yesterday. The
- difference is merely skin-deep; what we
- faced in the past is essentially the
- same as what we encounter today. That
- is the life of this world. The
- pleasures and enjoyments of this world
- are actually very shallow. Everything
- is full of limitations. If a person
- thinks carefully, they will find that
- every pleasure obtained actually
- requires a greater sacrifice. The world
- takes more from us than what it gives
- to us. Has the time not yet come for
- those who believe to have their hearts
- humbled? To humble their hearts in the
- remembrance of Allah. Remembering Allah
- every time our eyes look upon the
- creations of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
- around us. We will find the greatness
- and majesty of Allah. Every time we
- hear something or smell something, we
- will find Allah's signs scattered
- before us. But it turns out all of this
- only stirs and excites our desires,
- without adding anything to our insight.
- It does not enlighten our hearts, nor
- does it make us submissive before the
- greatness and majesty of Allah. Has the
- time not come for those who believe
- that their hearts should feel humble in
- the remembrance of Allah? And what was
- revealed of the truth; also
- contemplating the truth that Allah
- revealed in His books to the prophets
- and His messengers. And do not be like
- those who were given the Scripture
- before. And do not let them follow in
- the footsteps of the people of the
- Scripture before you. So the time
- passed for them. Because the distance
- was long between them and their
- remembrance of Allah, and their hearts
- were left for too long without being
- nourished by reflection. Contemplating
- the verses of Allah, little by little,
- their hearts hardened and became like
- stone. So Allah reminds us all, do not
- be like the people of the Scripture
- before them. Because their hearts were
- neglected for too long, left without
- being watered by the remembrance of
- Allah, by the verses of Allah. Then
- their hearts became hard. Their hearts
- hardened and became like stone. And
- many of them are defiantly disobedient.
- And most of them live immersed in
- defiance. Allah invites us all, amidst
- the trials and charms of this worldly
- life, so that we do not forget. Lately
- the various kinds of offerings
- presented to us regarding the pleasures
- of this world have truly intoxicated
- most of humanity, making them forget
- the purpose of their lives. Therefore,
- the struggle at this time is actually
- heavier compared to the past. Not only
- for adults, starting from children who
- are busy with gadgets, busy with
- various kinds of shows they watch on
- YouTube, on television, news that is
- easy for them to obtain, even though
- most of it is detrimental to them. If
- only they did not know, it would be
- better. Not to mention the hoax news
- that circulates, the slanders that are
- scattered everywhere. All of this truly
- becomes a very heavy obstacle for a
- servant to draw closer to Allah. So ask
- Allah for His help to assist you all.
- Ask Allah, never grow weary, so that
- Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala grants His
- guidance and direction to us all.
- Granting us steadfastness and patience
- until we complete the trials in this
- worldly life safely and successfully.
- Then in closing, "Know that Allah gives
- life to the earth after its
- lifelessness." Know truly that Allah is
- the one who gives life to the earth
- after its death. Dry, barren lands,
- plants that have turned black in a dead
- state. Once the rain falls, they come
- back to life. So too will we be, later,
- after our death. How easy it is for us,
- for Allah, to bring us all back to life
- . "Know that Allah gives life to the
- earth after its lifelessness." Know
- truly that Allah has the power to give
- life to the earth after its death. We
- have made clear to you the signs, that
- you might use reason. Truly, We have
- explained Our verses to you so that you
- may become people of understanding. If
- you are willing to contemplate, willing
- to think, you will surely see that the
- verses of Allah in His book can be
- proven through the signs found in the
- heavens and on earth. Including us, we
- are signs that show the greatness and
- majesty of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
- Brothers and sisters who are blessed by
- Allah. Our life in this world is not
- for long. Let us together constantly
- remind ourselves and our families to
- also pray to Allah, that He may truly
- pour patience into our hearts as we
- undergo life's trials and make our
- hearts fully loyal to Him. Our life and
- our death are for Allah Subhanahu wa
- Ta'ala alone. May this world not become
- an obstacle for us in our journey
- toward Allah. Instead, we hope to use
- this world as provisions for the
- afterlife, which will gather us with
- His messenger, together with his family
- and his companions. Likewise with the
- prophets, the messengers, and the
- brethren of our Prophet Muhammad,
- sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wasallam.
