0:08 Brail TV. 0:16 Peace be upon you, and the mercy and 0:17 blessings of Allah. In the name of 0:19 Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most 0:20 Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, 0:21 Lord of the worlds. May prayers and 0:22 peace be upon our master Muhammad and 0:24 his family and companions all. To 0:26 proceed. My beloved Radio Rosil 0:30 listeners, there was a king who 0:33 complained to his minister because he 0:36 saw that his gardener was always happy. 0:42 While tending to the garden, he would 0:43 play with his children. Meanwhile, he 0:47 himself was mostly sad, stressed, and 0:50 had many problems. So his minister, who 0:55 was also his advisor, said, "Let's go 1:02 with me, but bring money, put 99 dinars 1:08 in a box, the money refers to coins, 1:14 yes. Yes. Then write 100 on the outside 1:19 , write 100 dinars, but inside there 1:23 are 99, leave it in front of the 1:26 gardener's house, knock, then they hide 1:29 behind a tree." The gardener came out 1:33 and took the box. Wow, he shouted. He 1:37 called his children and they began to 1:39 count it. He counted and it turned out 1:43 there were 99, even though it was 1:45 written 100. So they went out again 1:48 carrying candles and torches looking 1:51 for that 1 dinar until midnight, they 1:54 lost sleep. The next morning before 1:58 work, he searched again but couldn't 1:59 find it. Finally, he went to work with 2:03 a gloomy face, not happy. The king's 2:08 advisor said, "That is the world." He 2:12 was given 99 blessings by Allah. But he 2:18 focused on the one blessing that was 2:20 missing. That is why he suffered. That, 2:25 Your Majesty, is what happens to most 2:28 humans. They forget the many blessings 2:32 they possess. They focus on that one 2:35 single affliction. Yes, this is the 2:40 cause of people suffering in this life. 2:44 Yes, we often see, for example, someone 2:46 has an accident and injures their leg. 2:49 If they focus on that leg, they will be 2:52 sad. But they should say, thank God, 2:55 their eyes are fine, their ears are 2:57 fine, their mouth is fine. Their brain 3:00 is fine, so they should be happy. Yes. 3:05 That is why Allah says, "If you try to 3:07 count Allah's blessings, you will not 3:08 be able to enumerate them." If you try 3:12 to count the blessings of Allah, you 3:14 will not be able to count them. Here 3:18 Allah uses the word 'blessing'(singular 3:20 ), not 'blessings'(plural). Just one 3:22 blessing. Allah commands us to try to 3:25 count one blessing. We say, "Ah, that's 3:28 easy." One blessing, the blessing of 3:30 hearing, the blessing of sight, the 3:32 blessing...that is not what is meant. 3:35 It means if we contemplate one blessing 3:38 being lost, it will lead to the loss of 3:41 other blessings. For example, the 3:45 blessing of sight, being able to see. 3:48 If that blessing is lost, what other 3:51 blessings are lost? The blessing of 3:53 seeing the smiles of our children and 3:55 grandchildren. Now, especially in this 3:58 day and age, the blessing of seeing 4:00 TikTok, Instagram, WA, Facebook, all 4:02 would be lost. And the blessings of 4:05 seeing the scenery and so on. That is 4:09 why we cannot count them. In America, 4:13 there was once a person who was short 4:16 of breath, had difficulty breathing, so 4:19 they were taken to the emergency room, 4:22 given oxygen and so on, after almost a 4:25 day they could breathe normally again, 4:28 when they saw the bill, they had to pay 4:31 9,000. He cried. His son said, "Dad, 4:38 don't cry, I have already paid it." No. 4:40 I am not crying because of that. For 75 4:44 years I’ve been breathing, and I 4:46 haven't paid a single cent for it. 4:49 Right. Uh, so there are two things. Why 4:53 do people forget God's blessings? 4:56 Failing to be grateful for the 4:57 blessings. The first is because they 4:59 get used to them. Try to think, we are 5:04 used to urinating, defecating. Is it a 5:06 blessing or not? But how often do we 5:09 recite a prayer after we go, for 5:11 example, "Alhamdulillahilladzi 5:12 adzhabanil adza wa 'afani"? We thank 5:16 Allah because what was obstructing our 5:18 stomach is gone, right? Imagine if one 5:22 day it was difficult to urinate, for 5:25 example. Oh. Yes, losing a blessing 5:30 makes it hard to sleep, hard to eat, 5:32 and so on. So, or every day we come 5:35 home, our house is there, our wife is 5:38 there, our children are there. Is it a 5:41 blessing or not? How often do we say " 5:43 Alhamdulillah"? Rarely. Why? Because we 5:46 are used to it. Don't let us forget 5:50 because we are accustomed to it. That 5:54 is why Prophet Muhammad is called 5:55 Muhammad, because he often praised God 5:57 and always said "Alhamdulillah." Right. 6:01 That is the first one. Because the 6:03 blessing has become a habit. We don't 6:06 feel it as a blessing anymore. Only 6:09 when it is lost do we feel it. 6:14 Especially for those who still have 6:15 parents. It is a blessing to be able to 6:18 see your parents and serve them; it’s 6:20 extraordinary. That is an extraordinary 6:23 opportunity. Back then, there was a 6:26 woman here in America who still regrets 6:28 it to this day. For two years now, she 6:31 has been filled with regret. Why? 6:35 Because her father called her, but 6:37 maybe it was late and she was sleepy. 6:40 She said, "I'll call you back tomorrow. 6:41 " The next day, her father passed away. 6:45 That was the last moment, and to this 6:47 day, she still regrets it. Yes. Then 6:52 the second reason is, as mentioned, 6:56 they focus on the disaster or trial 7:00 they are facing and forget the other 7:03 blessings. Yes. So, when we are struck 7:08 by a disaster, don't just look at that 7:11 disaster. Look at the other blessings 7:16 that are still with us. Yes. People who 7:21 always focus on their blessings won't 7:25 be stressed; they will be happy. Long 7:31 ago, there was a blind man with no 7:34 hands and no legs, but he kept saying, 7:37 "Alhamdulillah." Alhamdulillah. When 7:41 asked, "What are you thankful for?" Oh 7:46 God. He said, "Alhamdulillah, I have a 7:48 heart that believes in Allah, and a 7:53 tongue that can remember Allah." Many 7:56 people are perfect, with hands and legs 7:59 , but have no faith. Their tongues do 8:02 not give thanks to Allah. Right. So, 8:05 hopefully, we become people who always 8:08 remember Allah's blessings and are 8:10 always grateful to Allah. Because if we 8:13 are grateful, Allah promises, "La in 8:16 shakartum la azidannakum." Yes, 8:18 wabillahi taufik wal hidayah. 8:21 Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi 8:24 wabarakatuh.
